I just love flame broiler, especially because they have the mini size! I always get half and half as I love to get a variety of tastes in my bellayyyy! Quick and easy, good eat without having to feel guilty about eating unhealthy! Love, love, love!

I read some of the reviews about this place but still went anyway because my dinner plans fell through. I ordered the Chicken and Beef Plate with onions and steamed white rice. I paid and my food was done in literally two minutes. I didn't question it and packed some sauces to go. I should add that the guy working the register this last Sunday was pleasant and kind. As pleasant and kind that one can possibly be in our two minute interaction. When I got home and opened my plate I can see how dry and unappetizing the meat looked. I thought they would put some sauce on top, so I was glad that I packed some sauces that weren't all that great. Both meats were full of nerves (gross) and some of portions of my serving were refrigerated cold. Which explains the super fast food order. I went to Waba Grill the previous week, so I have a reference point for comparison and this place needs to get its act together, unless it's a franchise issue. I don't think I'm going to return.

The food is good as it is at any Flame Broiler. With a menu this simple it's hard to screw up. What this particular location does though, is make the place really unwelcoming in the evening. This place consistently begins closing the front of house at least an hour before the posted closing time. We often enjoy patio dining with our dogs, especially on nice summer evenings. We arrived just after 7pm to find the patio tables already stacked and chained. In addition, half of the interior tables have the chairs inverted atop them. Every time I dine here in the evening they look like they're ready to close. It leaves me wanting to go someplace else, to a restaurant that is interested in making customers feel wanted. Minimum wage and the 2 employees I see makes starting to close at closing time cost a whopping $21. If their margin is that razor-thin maybe voting with my wallet will make a difference.

Where are my portions, bro?! Even if you get extra meat, you get almost NO MEAT. Go to B-Man's instead. You'll pay like a buck or two more and get like twice the food. B-Man's tastes better to boot. There's a reason Flame Broiler never has a line ever. In fact, there's usually never anybody inside period.

I go to flame broiler quite often. I haven't been to this location in about a month and a half. The food looked and tasted the same, however, The portions were ridiculously small. The food wasn't even filled to the top of the bowl whatsoever. Pretty skimpy :(

I have been eating flame broiler over 5 years at various locations. My usual is chicken and veggie bowl. Today, I went to the pasadena location a bit early 10:54 am and ordered the usual to go. The chicken tasted great but had quite a bit of cartilage and the parts of the rice contained very hard parts (meaning old rice). As long as their doors are opened for business, they should serve fresh food. I still love the flame broiler concept but won't be visiting them unless it is at lunch rush or after.

I love coming here for lunch every weekend, but today I came and ordered a mini bowl and a regular half and half bowl for the first time(hence I always get a mini bowl) and it was literally less than half full. I didn't have time to go back so I called to let them know. I spoke to David and he completely ignored my complaint and said to speak to the manager Monday to Friday. When I purchased my food I saw the manager there. They need to work on their customer service.

This place is clean and usually really fast. Menu are limited so easy ordering. Chicken or beef. LOL. About $10 bucks for the plate. And you earn point if u sign up for the card . Point can be redeem for food later. You can also use the card on the yogurt ice cream store next to chase bank and earn point too. Anything helps right.

I don't usually write bad reviews but I am currently experiencing the symptoms one might expect if they consumed bad food. I'm confident that it is the Flame Boiler food that caused this because it's the only food I've had all day and it's late afternoon. The lady behind the counter got my order wrong and some of the meat was unchewable. The place was clean and the meal was completed quickly so you get a star for that. Not likely to come back though...

The last time I eat at this place. I just paid 4$ for a bowl that was half empty. I asked for the manager and she just laughed at the complaint and said this how it was. Very bad customer service.

So I found out today that Flame Broiler isn't corporate, but a franchise operation. This one participates in the Five Star program, so you get frequent flyer points. 10 points will get you a free bowl, but it's only for this location. This is one of the larger Flame Broilers. It even has outdoor seating. It's always clean. It has four different sauces. The restroom is always clean and service is spot on. I always see a lot of fire fighters and Pasadena PD at this location. It's fast service.

I gave 5 starts to the staff working here. When I was so clumsy to break the hot sauce tap, feeling so embarrassed, they rescued me. thanks lol. Will come again. Lunch is good deal!

Whenever we need to eat a quick meal, we come to this location. The food is pretty consistent and it's never that crowded. Afterwards we walk over to Buzio and have some frozen yogurt. One thing I HATE about this place is 3 out of 5 times that I was there, their workers were sweeping right next to us while we ate. Don't they have some kind of health code here? Aka do not make your customers eat dust? I have also seen them put the chairs up for a few tables even though closing time is not for another few hours. My guess is they don't feel like cleaning those tables again, but man, how lazy can you get?

I've eaten Flame Broiler a few times now, with each time hoping it would taste better than the last. Still no luck. The chicken is consistently dry and tough, which is a major letdown given both the small portion and the higher than average prices. The veggies on my latest bowl were pretty undercooked and difficult to chew. There are honestly better options for teriyaki bowls around town (see B-man's, Mako Bowl). It might be the appeal of a healthier option that resonates with people that regular here. But then again, Flame Broiler is not substantially more healthy than the competition.

I had a small lunch today, so I was starving by 4pm. I work a block away from here, and it always smells good when I walk by, but don't let the smell fool you. I ordered a combo plate and it was $9 something. The food looked pretty good too, until I ate it. OMG...The beef tasted like beef jerky, and the chicken was burnt as a piece of charcoal. I can't believe they have the balls to call the beef Angus beef. They call it a salad, but it's just chopped cabbage. I paid almost $10 for this garbage? No wonder the food came out so fast... Healthy and tasty my ass. LOL I am never going back here again.

The Chicken Veggie Bowl Hits The Spot! The Magic Sauce Tastes Great On The Veggies And Chicken.

My standby for relatively healthy yet tasty food. I'm a sampler so i usually get a works bowl/plate and side rib. The standout is the usually juicy rib (although it was dry today) and decent chicken. The beef is always an overcooked letdown, not sure why I keep ordering it. For me, the red hot sauce makes the meal. Always has the perfect kick. Today, I noticed the relatively new green "hot hot" sauce (green chiles, jalapeño, vinegar, garlic). It was overall a letdown. Actually seemed less hot and flavorful. That being said, more choices is always good.

Not only is the food delicious, they are quick. Each time I order I'll wait about 2-3 minutes and my order is ready, pronto! The team is always friendly as well.

Flame Broiler is a pretty decent place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. I usually get their Half Chicken and Half Beef Bowls topped with green onions on brown rice. The Chicken and Beef are both lightly flavored and make for a healthy meal (with the brown rice of course). It isn't a great place if you are craving for vegetables. Vegetables are minimal. But there are bowls and plates that offer some vegetables on the side. I just feel like whenever I eat here, I don't get my fix of vegetables even with the combo plates--portions are fair and everything is pretty filling. Don't forget to get some extra containers of their secret sauce. Drizzle it on top of everything. Without the sauce, the food may taste a bit bland. So remember to sauce it up!

Delicious and healthy food, fast service, and amazing staff. It is honestly one of my favorite residents that has become a regular stop.

Just tried their chicken sesame salad. It was great! Nice combo of chicken, veggies and a few orange slices. This definitely hit the spot for lunch! I'll definitely be back.

We like Chinese food, but not love, so we got to change our taste a bit sometimes. They cater! (I give one star!) That is probably why our company orders lunch here. This place is located on Colorado/Sierra Madre, not too far from our office, so that is good. It's part of the Pavilion plaza, you cannot miss it if you drive around and actually LOOK. Came here to pick up lunch with my coworkers and I thought, 'dang, gotta move all those caters into the car' Flame Boiler employees actually carries it to your car. (well deserved for another star) What we had... - A box of chicken, which is pretty much grilled and it has Teriyaki sauce on the side for you to mix. (At least they don't drown their chickens like other restaurants) - A box of Korean Ribs, which I thought was okay, because they were a bit burnt. -White or Brown? We got a half of each color rice. A few of us at work were relief that there was brown rice. We totally needed it for our diet. (another star for thinking healthy) The overall, their food is alright. You can find this meal as a healthy meal. Flame Broiler does have a nutrition board and a list of what the meat was made of and what it contains. So far, NO MSG! Come on, no MSG, who would believe? Will cater here again!

I'm not the greatest fan of this place, but it does in a pinch. We were driving down Colorado, coming home from Target when the family screamed "We're Hungry!!!" So, I said, "Flame Broiler". The kids were fine with a kid bowl each, the wife and I split a combo chicken and beef. The meat was dry, the rice was dry, the salad was all cabbage and carrots. Thank God for the free flowing sauce bar. After moistening the meat up, it now was too sweet. $-@&@&....can't win. We ate half of it and brought the rest home. My wife said never again. I might have to agree with her. Yoshinoya seems to fit us better. Sorry Flame Broiler...

Quick lunch or dinner option. Just rice and your choice of chicken or beef. Forget about veggies here although they do serve some here with the bowls but we're talking an iota of frozen veggie mix. Mini bowls ($4.45) that offer half and half options for chicken and beef - yes please. White meat costs additional $1. Parking: private lot

  • Charles B.

A quick, inexpensive relatively healthy option for lunch. I have been here several times and the place is consistently good. Service is quick and the food is tasty. Not crazy gourmet tasty, but certainly always flavorful and made to order. I usually get the chicken and veggie bowl which I generally add their "magic sauce" (teriyaki) and some hot sauce as well. I also opt for the brown rice and I get the green onions which is also optional. Less than $7.00 (no drink) and on my way back to work with a hot lunch in less than 10 minutes.

Flame Broiler is quite similar to B'Man's Teriyaki but has a shorter menu. Both are popular fast food places that specialize in affordable teriyaki bowls that include a mini size option with brown or white rice with no extra charge for brown rice. Flame Broiler adds green onions to your teriyaki bowl while B-Man's adds Tsukemono cabbage. Flame Broiler has a shorter menu (chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, ribs) and higher prices. * Mini beef bowl ($4.45): The beef was in small strips and was too chewy, almost like beef jerky, but I liked the marinade (slightly sweet). * Mini chicken bowl ($4.25): The skinless, boneless chicken pieces had a nice grilled flavor and a lightly sweetened marinade. I liked how the teriyaki bowls didn't come covered with teriyaki sauce (the sauce is served on the side). The teriyaki sauce they had was too salty. Yoshinoya has better sauces and better tasting beef, but their veggies are horrible. The place was clean and had the look of a fast food restaurant. The condiment station offers Magic Sauce (teriyaki), Hot sauce (tasted like Louisiana hot sauce) and Magic dressing. I wish they offered pickled ginger.

I came to the Flame Broiler for the first time today and I LOVE it! Not only is it extremely healthy but the food taste great! The workers were very friendly! I don't have one bad thing to say. I found my new chicken bowl place!! Yay!!!

Says here they close at 10:00. They actually close at 9:00. I just got there at 8:56 and they were closed already. Nice customer service.

Oh my I love this place so much. The bowls are always on point, adding some of the sauce they have available wouldn't hurt though. The service is really fast! My order was ready before I even sat down at my seat! There's a lot of parking available since its In the shopping center with vons. If you want desert there's also a frozen yogurt place right across from it!

  • Dereck P.

Just like any other Flame Broiler, it always hits the spot with a quick fix. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and a little bit bigger than others I've been to. They also have a TV (maybe a 50"?) usually playing sports, which is kinda cool. Outdoor seating is also available, too.

The chipotle of Asian style cooking. Nothing great, nothing awful. A little healthier then other options, but probably still not that great for you. In a pinch it was fine, but I wouldn't seek this out.

  • Gary L.

A little more expensive than other Flame Broilers I've been to, but whatever, it's in a good location and the rent is probably expensive. Still a good deal. Food came out quickly and it was hot. Dining area is clean. Cashier was nice. My chicken bowl tasted delicious like any other Flame Broiler I've been to. It is close to Vons, too, so it would be a good idea to eat here before doing your grocery shopping because it's not a good idea to shop for groceries while hungry.

As in trying to start eating healthier, I need to start looking for a whole new array of places to eat. It will be an interesting journey. Flame broiler is a good place to grab health food. Price range is a little high, but nothing too crazy. Maybe a dollar more than the average teriyaki chicken restaurant. I got the chicken and veggie bowl - $6.50 or something like that. They put quite a bit of chicken in there, so I'm not sure what other people are complaining about. I got brown rice, which I don't think is actual rice, I think it's something else. Veggies were good, fresh. Chicken was cooked well. As I go through this journey of healthy food.. I think I just need to get my taste buds used to healthy food. Overall, this place is good, but when you're used to really fatty, oily, who cares what's inside the food as long as it tastes great, this is pretty bland, lol. But for healthy... I would totally come back here again, without a second thought.

  • Narek K.

Flame Broiler is OK and that's all it really is for me Yes it is a healthy alternative but it is also pretty expensive (6 dollars for a small bowl that is filled with 80% rice to fill you up) It tastes fine but I just don't think it's worth the money sometimes Would be impressed if they gave more chicken than rice...

The restaurant itself was very clean and the service was pretty quick. When I got my order, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of food on the plate, because the picture on the menu made me think I was getting an appetizer. Honestly, the food is pretty basic, with not a lot of flavor. Maybe that's why they call it the "Magic Sauce", 'cuz it magically makes it taste better! Ya, the sauce is probably enough to send you into sodium shock, but the beef just seemed kinda dry without it. There was a nice big flat panel TV, playing highlights of Monday night's football game...bonus!

Really good food and I don't feel guilty eating it. I'm happy they're open Sundays and it's near my job. The food is really delicious and I really enjoy the raspberry Fuze!

YUM. Went for the first time yesterday with boyfraan. There's bowls, the regular bowl, or the plate (which comes with salad and an orange..lol and a bigger portion obvs.) We ordered the beef and chicken combo, but ol boy didn't understand and only gave us chicken -__- We got some extra green onion! You also have a choice between white or brown rice, which I really liked. They have sides for you to take home, or bring with you to the table. There's their hot sauce, their own version of teriyaki sauce, their salad dressing, and Sriracha! BOMB. I got me some sriracha and salad dressing and went on to eat the yummy-ness. It was a good portion of food. I was super full, and it was pretty delicious! The salad is all cabbage, but with their dressing it works together very nicely. Done by the end of the meal. Zzzz

  • Kathy C.

I like Flame Broiler for a quick meal that is relatively healthy. Of course, if you're drowning your bowls and plates with that magic teriyaki sauce, it kind of defeats the purpose of going for the healthy route (but that's okay, I won't judge you if you don't judge me for doing it). This location is relatively new so it's still shiny and clean. The employees are all very friendly.

Usually even if someone I know has told me they didnt care for a place, i like to still try it out, to give it a fair shot... especially since, from the outside, this place seems so enticing... you can smell the broilers pumping from outside, and pictures show you tasty looking grub that even has little ads posting it "healthy"... SO, i tried it out... and yup... should have listened to the opinions I heard against this place.. food doesn't look anything like the pictures.. and it was so greasy, i don't know HOW they could claim it is "healthy??"... plus, the chicken had lots of fat chunks in it.. (not appetizing to get a super greasy, chewy, inedible part in your mouth..) sorry flame broiler... never again..

I actually live between this location and the one in Monrovia, but I decided to stop by this one after I took my dog to the dog park (on Orange Grove) because it was closer. This location is in the Von's plaza that's pretty new... I think they opened last yr? There's a lot of other stuff in the plaza, but there's plenty of parking and easy to turn in/out. Since the building is pretty new, everything was clean. It's well organized and pretty spacious. I ordered the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice and green onions. The service was fast and they got it right. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken was tasty, and I was pretty darn full after finishing the whole bowl. I guess they don't have the $5 promo chicken veggie bowl anymore, but I know the other flame broiler location that I go to still offers it (and I believe the other location was open before this one did). Also, this location doesn't have Sriracha... They only have the hot sauce in the pump. All I have to say about the hot sauce is that... it's like buffalo chicken sauce. It's sour and not that spicy... ergo, in my books it's not that good. I prefer the Sriracha spicy flavor over the other sauce because I don't think the sourness goes well with the teriyaki sauce. I know, I know, I'm comparing hot sauces... But hey, there's a reason why there's Tapatio, Cholula, etc... Different hot sauces taste good on different things! If you come here don't forget to get their stamp "card". It's actually this little keychain size card that works by using NFC technology and you get points at a lot of other places around Pasadena and LA too! Anyways, this place is pretty good, but I like the other location a little more...

I like coming here for a somewhat healthy meal. White meat chicken stacked high with a healthy portion of cabbage, carrots and broccoli on a bed of brown rice. I stay away from the beef because it's over seasoned, but the chicken isn't, so you're not overeating on the sweet stuff. Do like that they give you the option of adding as much sauce as you want on your own.

I've had my share of Flame Broiler since my first experience in Costa Mesa. Very few options, easy to call-in an order, they don't lie in their marketing, and it's a healthy affordable meal. Try the veggie w/onions and brown rice! Filling and guilt-free.

I came here to use a Living Social deal I got for this place. Pretty worth it! The mini bowls are about $5, regular bowls are about $7 and plates (same amt of food as the bowls, in my opinion) are about $8. It was only worth it because of the Living Social deal, otherwise I would not come on my own too often. I first called to check to see when I could use it (Living Social has this unwritten rule that deals can be used one day after the deal expires). The greeting I got was "Hello." as if it was a wrong number.. so I had to ask "Is this Flame Broiler?" -___- very awkward. The employees here are generally nice, with a few weird ones.. There was one guy who was standing in the kitchen, chewing something, and poking his head out, watching the restaurant a hawk. very weird.. Anyway, this is like Yoshinoya but better because of its grilled meats. We got The Works bowl and a Rib Plate, which were both amazing in flavor and quality. The veggies were just cheap cabbage salad, which tasted waxy. I did like the Magic Sauce and Magic Dressing, but the Red Sauce was poor in quality. Good food. Good deal! Flame Broiler should do this promo again!

    (4)
  • Bianca L.

Pretty good, I got The Works. Chicken was tasty and beef was perfect. I really likes the fact that you can have an option of brown or white rice without extra charge. Prices were right, sauces are very flavorful. I just wish they had Sirracha!

As a native Northern Californian, I sadly and shamefully admit that we have yet to get one these fine QSR establishments known as Flame Broiler. Flame Broilers vary in quality as many of them are individually owned. When you walk into one, you're making a gamble that the management cares about its customers and the food, and aren't just riding the name of the brand. This Flame Broiler is awesome because they share a rewards card with a number of Pasadena locations, including Tea Spots down the street. You can earn one free bowl after ten purchases, and if you forget your card, you can use your phone number. Hurray for free food! While many reviews point out the service issues at this location, I want to give them a break just because you're bound to make a few mistakes here and there when you're a brand new restaurant. Let's not kick them down while they're learning to walk! It's better to be more unforgiving once they've established themselves. I personally have never had any problems with this location. In fact, the staff here has always been incredibly helpful and cheery to me. Come to NorCal, Flame Broiler. I promise we'll welcome you with open arms.

Healthy Tasty Cheap Quick What else do you need? Oh I know.... Red Sauce!!! Trust me.

  • Sue F.

We've eaten here about 4 times now. It's really tasty but they seem to mess up our order a lot. Once I ordered a chicken and brown rice veggie bowl and I got white rice even though my receipt said brown on it.... heh. Once I got no green onions, when I asked for green onions. There was bits of beef in my chicken bowl. Once my chicken tasted a little dry, like when you cook chicken when it's still a little frozen. Totally love this place, just wish they could get the orders correct.

Angus beef rib plate is good but $8. The work regular bow mean chicken beef n vegi is good but $6-7 i would go back if have the amazon local deal

  • D C.

Good Stuff! I would recommend ordering a meat and rice combo only. Why you might ask? ALL OF THEIR COOKS DON'T KNOW HOW TO STEAM VEGETABLES PROPERLY. It's a serious problem that only this location seems to have and its ALL of their cooks. When i bring friends over and they don't heed my warning, they end up slapping themselves when their veggies taste like cold cardboard. The manager is a nice guy and the food and service is overall okay but other locations do a much better job.

  • Nancy T.

This place is AWESOME! Delicious food, friendly cashier guy, clean, plenty of parking. I highly recommend. Never, ever go to the Universal Citywalk Flame Broiler though - that location is an embarrassment to the entire franchise.

    (5)
  • Diana L.

Ya, the food is pretty good and the service is lighting fast. I don't know if its me, but the guy who takes the orders totally cuts you off and says what he thinks you're going to order. Nooo, I wanted the chicken and beef with just veggies. Clean facility, flavorful food, and a rewards program so eat more for points!

  • Sam L.

Great spot for lunch. The food is healthy. The service is quick. I wish they'd put more veggies in their bowls, but other than that it's better quality than Yoshinoya. Don't forget to add Sriracha for that extra kick of spice!

    (4)
  • E W.

I like how quick this place is and you know it's healthy!! Sauce on the side always helps too. Price is so good, and sometimes there are some coupons that make it even better! I'm not a fan of the veggies though cuz I never know if they're prepared/washed properly, but they're always good at removing them in my dishes and adding green onions instead :)

Very good food, fast, inexpensive, and you don't feel guilty. Just enough food; not too much or too little. I go here weekly for lunch.

This place is great if you are in need of a quick bite at a reasonable price. I am on a diet where i am supposed to eat a certain portion of meat and brown rice x times a day. This place fits my dietary needs perfectly. The only reason they got a 4/5 is because the chicken had a lot of fatty or gross pieces. Otherwise, well done

  • JP A.

In comparison to other locations this one is very clean, open, and quite big. They also have a TV to catch some games. The bowls are pretty much the same wherever you go. Definitely worth a visit when I'm in the area.

This was the first time I have been to a Flame Broiler location and I have to say it was damn good. I was looking for a good alternative to fast food and I found it. This location was clean and the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken bowl with white rice. It was fresh and tasted great. I love that they ask if you want green onions on top. It adds flavor and makes the bowl taste even better. They have a little island station with "Special Sauce" and hot sauce so you can enhance the flavor of your food as much as you like. If you want a healthier option for lunch or dinner and are sick of fast food, hit up Flame Broiler and get some good grub. You will leave with a smile on your face.

Flame broiler was a major staple of my college years in San Diego. Too bad they just opened this near my house when I'm moving to NYC. In any case if you want a cheap, delicious, and healthy meal, come here. I usually order the chicken veggie bowl with brown rice. You can substitute white meat. Oh and must put the hot sauce on it. Do it. Don't be a wimp.

  • Regina W.

I decided to give this place another try.....I got the half chicken/beef bowl with white rice. I ate there with my friend and it was really good. The meat was cooked with more sauce than last time, and I added magic and hot sauce. It was very very tasty. While I was enjoying my meal at one of the tables in the corner, I noticed something on my arm. I looked at my arm and it was a CRICKET!!! Yes, a CRICKET! I jumped up and it started hopping on my purse and chair. I told the person working there and he just said, did you want me to catch it or is it ok? I just told him to leave it since it hopped out of my sight. I know it's hot and all, and bugs can get in, but man...that was gross. I would of changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars but that cricket really killed me. I like the food but I'm taking it to-go next time.

I know the food is healthy but it's not something I crave for. It was bland and I had to add the sauces which defeat the purpose.

Tasteless. I'd rather go to yoshinoya.

This place just opened right near me! I have to say the $5 promo for the chicken and veggie bowl is a great deal. Definitely get it with green onions and brown rice, and then drench it in teriyaki sauce (it is called Magic Sauce here for whatever reason). This location is rather spacious, and I would prefer to see more smaller tables for two or four people. I saw one huge round table fit for a party, which I doubt there will be many taking place here and I feel guilty sitting at that one. :)

I had never been to a Flame Broiler before today, but it definitely satisfied my craving for something healthy! I got the white meat Chicken Veggie bowl with brown rice and it was just perfect - just enough sauce on the chicken, and the veggies were perfectly steamed. Clean place and a very friendly staff as well! My only criticism is the large sodas don't fit in car cupholders; a bit inconvenient when taking drinks to go.

I have found a new alternate to yoshinoya. I never know where to get a chicken or beef bowl in Pasadena. The yoshinoya across from PCC is the worst one ever! This place appears very healthy and clean. The brown rice option gets an extra star! The bowl tastes great. I'm definitely coming back when I drive by!

Went in a couple days ago to give them a try. I ordered the Chicken Veggi bowl special. When I received my order I took it to go. When I arrived home I discovered that I was given a chicken bowl.......no veggi's. It was pretty clear on my receipt " Chicken Vegi". Don't know how they screwed that up. Other then that everything else was good. The chicken was tender and the rice was cooked just right. the Magic sauce ( AKA Teriyaki Sauce ) tasted good. Hopefully they will workout the orde accuracy issues.

If you want some quick, cheap Korean food, this is the go to place. It's pretty good for fast food Korean. I really like their magic sauce. However, it's not as quality as what you would get at a nicer Korean restaurant. I'm Korean myself so it definitely isn't the best Korean I ever had. So I guess I'm a bit more bias because I grew up on Korean food. But all in all, it's pretty good for fast food.

First impression is favorable, I like the flavor of the chicken, but the rest is kinda blah. They do offer sauces to add, I'd come back, rush back. no..., but come back for sure.

I love this place! Perfect for lunch. Simple menu, but very tasty and not too expensive. Service is always speedy and its nice and clean inside. I find myself going here more and more for lunch, and thats a good thing! One suggestion: the teriyaki sauce is a bit on the salty side. maybe offering a lite version in addition to the regular version would be great!

I was tricked into thinking I was eating healthy. When in fact that the food only taste good if you drench it in sauce. Then it become very yummy but ruins my quest to eat healthy.

If you ever come to a point where you dont know what to eat This flame broiler is the place to go very tasty don't forget to add the special sauce. The only downside is that I've been here several times and the girl ( ruby) that takes the orders is always or looks like she's in a bad mood.

Comfy space, average place. Came here for a quick lunch on a work day with a friend. Lured by the availability of brown rice and other supposed eating-out healthiness. Using a coupon, I got a chicken bowl, and the friend got the beef bowl. Food was fine but pretty plain and a little dry, causing us to go to the (probably unhealthy) sauce bar. Of course, you get what you pay for, but there's a way to do healthy while still being tasty. Not horrible, just really forgettable (for me), so I'd stick to my own packed concoctions over this.

I like the set up of this location! There's like an island in the middle of the place for the sauces. Otherwise, not too different from the other flame broilers... I still like the short rib the most and obviously dousing everything in Magic Sauce. I really doubt it's healthy by the time I finish administering sauce.

This place is one of the newer flame broilers that opened couple months ago. I lived in orange county area prior and had a bunch of these chains there. So happy they finally opened one close to me. Anyhoo I love their chicken bowls. So healthy and fulfilling. I always get extra green onions. So delicious. Must put the magic sauce on it and if you like heat like I do put some hot sauce too . Sooooo yummy. You can have it with brown or white rice or veggies. Whatevers to your liking. Definitely a place to check out. They put this as Korean food here on yelp but I don't think its Korean.. Lol they don't serve Kim chi. Oh well nonetheless give it a try and service here is sooooo friendly and prompt. Good job guys!

i love flame broiler. i love the fact this location is close to my work and it's quick and easy while being healthy and delicious. parking is ample. theres a few other things in the plaza and it's new. a mini bowl with chicken and onions is my go to. i try to be healthy and go with the brown rice option, but really the white rice is where it's at. i always regret it instantly when i get the brown rice. tv usually plays whatever sports game is on.

This place just opened up a few days ago and I have to say that it's definitely one of the better Flame Broilers. The place is real clean and professional unlike the one in Westwood. The manager seems really nice and lively and he came around and made sure everything was great. The parking is in abundance so stop by a try a healthy bowl. You can never go wrong with a chicken bowl and brown rice. Unlimited sauce is definitely a plus! God, I love magic sauce...that's what she said.

Probably one of the swankiest Flame Boilers i've ever seen. Good staff, good food, and great location. Couldn't ask for a better Lunch Place.

(Wednesday, 12/18/2013 about 1:30 - place was empty, ordered to go) NOT GOOD FOLKS. Let me count the ways. I got a sampler plate with beef, beef short ribs & white meat chicken with vegetables, salad, brown rice to go. The beef had a good flavor but was dry as the Sahara desert, tough, and cold as ice - as though it had been sitting for a long while. Had the cook attempted to re-warm it - it would have been beef jerky bites - so I guess that's why he decided to plop cold beef on my plate. The 3 short ribs had a miniscule amount of meat on them. That teaspoon of meat was tasty though. If I were a dog - I'd be happy with the meatless bones - but I'm not. The white meat chicken had a weird (un-fresh) taste. It was not seasoned at all and was dry, tough - but hot. (only because I asked the cashier 3 times to make sure I was getting white meat. He still forgot to tell him... so the cook had to re-fire it). The salad (cole slaw mix) had no dressing whatsoever - just dry carrots and cabbage. The veges (cabbage & one carrot circle - no broccoli as shown) were barely cooked, unseasoned and cold - and was basically the same as the salad - only bigger pieces. Both flavorless and inedible. I also asked him to make sure I got brown rice 3 times. When the order came up... white rice. I had him give me the brown rice on the side as I was tired of waiting and had to go. The brown rice was the only item that did not have some sort of problem with it. I will stick to San Sai and I will not be returning to Flame Broiler. This was my first and last time I patronize this place. That's too bad because the flavor profile (of the beef) is there - but the EXECUTION is all wrong. It is low calorie - but that's because most of it was inedible ... and I threw 75% of it away. What a funky way to cut calories.

This is a great place to pick up a quick meal with the option of staying healthy depending on how much magic sauce you use. The service is quick and I like getting a free bowl after 10 visits using their rewards program. I usually get the works bowl and I always leave full and satisfied.
