Indeed, what you pay for is what you get. The pizza is delivered timely, and at a very low cost. However, the taste leaves much to be desired. It feels like the cheese used, is definitely of medium to low grade, and the spices in the red sauce are too bland. If you find yourself here, no need to run out of the door, but temper your expectations.

Slice of Hollywood took over an old business but added freshness to my favorite salad spot. The Laurel and Cobb are the best and are always full of big pieces of chicken and yummy dressing. Have your salad tossed and add a slice of pizza and you are good for the rest of the day. All the staff is friendly and I love watching them cut up the fresh veggies right before they add them to your menu selection. They really have a great selection that makes it easy for a girl to watch her figure:-)

Definitely great pizza *for the price,* pretty average pizza overall. $17 gets you 3 medium 2-toppings pizza and they're wired up through GrubHub, so it's easy point-and-click cheap, tasty pizza :)

a LOT of people talking bad about this place...whenever im in oakland and im hungry, i make sure i stop by!!!!! great pizza deals, delicious salads, and YUMMY WINGS!!! BETTER THAN WINGSTOP EVEN! make sure you order your pizza with the white sauces....very tasty!!!

I'm not sure how they did it, but my pizza came in closer to 30 than my quoted 45 minutes. The delivery guy was nice enough and appreciated my tip and the pizza was hot. The pizza had plenty of toppings and it was a bit soggy which made me wonder if it was a cancellation which would explain why they got to us so quickly. In any case, it was very good and I will order from them again.

Really not very good pizza at all. Wanted to like it because it is local but the crust was just awful, weirdly grainy and not flavorful and the sauce was totally unremarkable. I think the worst thing was that it was even worse the next day. What's pizza without being able to eat it cold out of the fridge the next day? :(

First time having their pizza, I was desperate for cheap food and had their coupons. I give it two stars because I've had better and assure you there is better places to get pizza. I was disappointed because its a given to me that a pizza place shouldn't burn a customers pizza. Black on the bottom but still edible, I told you I was desperate...mmm carcinogens!

Cheap prices, wicked fast, great pizzas, and salads (go with the Laurel w/ Honey Beet dressing). I order from here at least once a week. I think i've ordered at least 100 pizzas from here over the last two years - and I've never had a problem. Ambiance leaves a bit to be desired, but the food makes up for it.

I like this place - the whole deal is kind of stripped down, and yeah they're customer service is sort of lame, but a large cheese pie is $12 delivered. Also - if you want that skinny deliery kid to get out of his ride you have to say - "I'm in the back making noise, so you'll have to knock really loud or I won't hear it." Works for me

This the the place that replaced Razzo's. I really liked Razzo's. I like this place MUCH better. $5 medium pizza for pickup. AWESOME deal. I personally pay another dollar for extra cheese too, cause there's really no such thing as too much cheese on a pizza. 6 bucks is not bad for a great medium pizza. Go eat it. Now.

I tried Slice of Hollywood on a whim, after someone stuck a menu on my door. The Gourmet Delight with garlic sauce and added shrimp is delicious. It would be even better with more shrimp and additional seasonings (salt, pepper, maybe some basil!). I love how they service such a vast area, and the pizza comes hot and fast.

Great pizza by the slice the way you want it. The salads are fabulous. I come here at least once a week for a salad. Fast and friendly service as well. One of the best chicken cesar salads on lakeshore.

Its 10 pm I am hungry but nothing heavy and too tired to make anything, running on fumes, so I crawl from my gym to Slice of Hollywood for my medium cobb salad with extra chicken. I am saved and one late meal will not undo my workout.

We ordered a mushroom, garlic and onion pizza. It took forever to arrive and when it did the cheese was congealed and the crust was soggy. It was also pretty darn small and the toppings sparse. I was starving so I dove in anyway. And got a mouthful of sausage. I haven't tasted sausage in twenty or so years and it turns out, I'm not missing anything. YUCK.

I didn't know what to eat but when i saw the "Best of Yelp" sticker on the window...it won me over. This place was okay. There was nothing wrong with the pizza...it was just good ol' pizza. Nothing made it stand out. Apparently this place is known for its salad more than its pizza...strange that a pizza place has better salad than pizza : \
