Awesome fish and chips. I got the 3 piece and had to talk half home. The fish pieces were huge and real Cod, not the pre-formed stuff you find at fast food places. The fries were excellent as well. The 4 piece fish and chips comes with a salad and a couple monstrous onion rings to boot , so the one order will actually feed two people.

My husband and I love our Farmer Boys. I always get the Chicken Club, hold the Dijon, and an order of fried zucchini. It is delicious and has never disappointed. He always gets the Farmer Burger: 2 meat patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and 1000 Island, can't go wrong..... well unless you want to avoid a heart attack or a clogged artery. He believes it is definitely something okay in moderation. The chili cheese fries are pretty good, I would not say the best, but we tend to fight over last bite. The breakfast platters are pretty satisfying. The only thing I have tried and was not pleased with was the pastrami sandwich. The pastrami was way too greasy. The prices are decent, but we tend to use a coupon most times we come.

Went cycling and picked up some hashbrowns for my daughter. This was a restaurant and fast food blend. Place was clean, people were friendly (they asked if I wanted some water while I waited). The menu had a great variety for all different American tastes.

Well, I couldn't find anywhere fun and exciting for my 100 review, so I'm reviewing a place I've always wanted to try. Instead of going to the one that's about 5 miles from where I live, I end up going to one 55 miles away. Walking into the restaurant was pleasant because it was nice and cool inside which is refreshing because it's always hot in Murrieta. The restaurant was very clean, too. I bought a Club Sandwich and a drink. I passed on the fries because this site is making me too fat. I have to say it was a pretty good sandwich! It didn't seem all that big at first, but I barely finished it. Everything was fresh and crispy. I really like the bread that it was served on. It seemed freshly baked. Soft inside and not too hard on the outside. I was pleased. No real complaints except I wish the soda fountain was self serve. Would be five star, but I'm cutting back on Burger type places because, like I said, this site is making me fat!

Best Tuna sandwich I have ever had! A bit expensive though but you pick up your own food so you save on the tip.

We get coupons for free Cheeseburgers all the time, so we thought...hey, let's try it. As reviewed...fast food but with plates. Burger was good, fries good, nothing totally outstanding. Breakfast options looked good. I guess we'd go back to use another coupon, but probably not without it.

This semi fast food/semi restaurant has a great selection of sandwiches and entrees. I have had quite a few of the items on the menu, including the philly cheesesteak, the patty melt, the steak sandwich, and I have not been disappointed. The "service" is quite good and treats you like you're actually in a restaurant. It should be noted that the rating here is based on my experiences with other "fastaurants" or fast food places.

Pretty good breakfast and most items are good. The Fish Sandwich is outstanding for fast food. But I really think the Burgers suck, why? They have the thinnest patties I have ever seen, the Double is thinner than the singles from Jacks or Carls.

I just found out that this is a dog friendly restaurant!!! Bring your dogs with you... The manager just cleaned up a table right next to 2 woman who had their pet (not service) animal sitting on the booth with them and he looked right at it and smiled... Yes a dog friendly place to bring your dogs inside to eat off of the table with you.

Gah what happened here. Usually when out shopping my fiance and I would stop here for something quick, but a little better than other fast food places. This one is a bit father from our house, but I especially loved to come here because they had a check-in deal for (15% off). Even though it's on here they don't honor it (or maybe it was just my cashier). We love the chicken avocado sandwich, so I got two of them. When we got them even the bread felt greasy. We we both given tiny portions of chicken, that my fiance didn't even finish his sandwich because it was mostly greasy bread and avocado (and he was really hungry). I probably won't come back to this Farmer Boys. + Location: By Kohl's it has a good location +/- Service: Even though they didn't accept my coupon they were friendly - Food - Pricing: over $20 for tiny pieces of chicken, fries, drinks, and greasy bread. While I don't mind paying this much if it's actually good

I am not hard to please, if you look at my reviews you will see mostly favorable reviews. In fact, if i don't like a place I just skip the review.... Most times. I'm done with Farmer boys, today was the last straw. I bought two breakfast burritos and paid almost 14 bucks for them. I would be okay with good quality and above average size breakfast burritos for almost 7 bucks a piece. Instead I got very skinny, below average tasting $7.00 burritos. I'm done, never again spending a dime at this place.

I come here for lunch every now and again with my dad and only very occasionally for lunch when I'm at work since it is right down the street. They do have excellent sandwiches and salads but everything else I would suggest taking a hard pass on. Everything fried is: A) Bland (unless you find oil flavorful) B) Pretty much just falls apart and oozes oil C) Way too big (I get the ideals of quantity, but wow) D) A funny orange color Their service is mediocre, and only attempt to use their drive through if you have a ridiculously exorbitant amount of time available to you. My 30 minute lunch break accidentally turned into a 1 hour lunch break once. I didn't even get to eat my food.

I never learn my lesson to check my food when coming here. Good food, but the order is never accurate and I always find out the hard way, when I'm home and hungry. Just came back from Farmers Boys, ordered a bacon breakfast burrito, waited for 15 minutes in the drive thru, came home to sausage burrito. Waste of money and time.

Wait is sometimes long but worth it I love their Cobb salad! They serve so much that it is always enough for at least two people.

  • Bill H.

Not Good.. Was in the Drive thru line for ever and decided to look up the Yelp reviews. Turns out I ordered the exact thing as a previous reviewer. My experience was the same as hers. Got the Avocado Chicken sandwich and onion rings. My thought were that she must have been too critical but I was wrong. Onion rings were soggy with oil and falling apart and the sandwich was soggy and had no flavor. If I wanted crap food I would have gone to Jack in the box across the street.

Expensive but yummy. Long wait in line in the drive thru, but they are good. Never ate inside.

Good service, but they don't change the vat oil regularly, so everything fried tastes bitter. Makes you wonder what else they aren't keeping up with.

Came here for lunch and ordered a sourdough chicken avocado sandwich and onion rings. It was... okay. It was also falling apart because of the oil and it was dripping all over my fingers. The avocado was the only thing that made it taste good. The onion rings were huge and oily! I tried to eat them they fell apart too. I just stuck the onions into the sandwich and ate it. Messy. Oily. I felt so gross after.

There's one lady who walks around with no care in the world like she hates life and her job. I asked the lady who brought me my food for honey mustard. I'm almost done with my burger and still don't have honey mustard. Then I asked the no care in the world lady for honey mustard since she was walking by and still got nothing. Food was okay but service and employees presentation of themselves and the business could be better.

Place is good, food is always tastey and j specifically enjoy the salads but l had to give 3 stars cuz of the pricing, it's essentially fast food and you are sure to be spending over $10 a meal. It's good, but other things are better for the price in my opinion. Lost my business and will be going elsewhere.

The french toast and eggs breakfast is terrible. I used to go to one in OC all the time for the same thing and it was soooo good. Favorite place to have breakfast. I gave it my third and final shot at this one in Murrieta thinking maybe I had just got a bad cook that day; nope. And I will never order it again. So disappointing. I will say, though, their shakes are the BEST when it comes to fast food type restaurants.

Went in about an hour before close, place was empty. Got a double cheese burger with fries, friends got cheese burgers, one with zucchini one with onion rings. The zucchini and onion rings were undercooked. All our buns were cold. No wow factor on the burgers like all the hype made me believe. Customer service was really good though. Probably won't be coming back.

    (3)
  • J C.

The burgers are soooo good! The all natural burger is so flavorful! The fries and onion rings are ok but the zucchini fries need to be removed from the menu. On warmer days, you can't really enjoy the outside dining option because of all the flies.

We went here for lunch the first time and breakfast today. The food was good and staff were friendly. This is a fast food restaurant, but they come around and offer coffee refills. They even brought me a coffee to go.

Came here on the suggestion of a family member we were visiting. My family ordered a variety of things, burgers, sandwiches, fish and chips. It was all very good, it was good enough that we decided to go back for breakfast a few days later. The California omelet and breakfast burritos cannot be beat. Everything was fresh and you can definitely tell the difference in the quality of their ingredients. Definitely will go again when in southern California.

I am updating my review because last night my mom and I went back to the Farmer Boys and tried the pastrami sandwiches again. They were pretty good and not soggy like they were last time we had them! Kiddos to the new owner Shirley! We will go back! :-)

I'd wanted to try Farmer Boys for a while. Recently I had to attend a hearing at Murrieta City Hall, so on my way out I went for it. I ordered the regular cheeseburger, minus the pickle, onions and thousand island dressing, but as a combo with fries and drink. During the ordering, the cashier asked me to confirm that I just wanted a single patty - that should have clued me in that I had just managed to remove all pf the personality the Farmer Boys burger offered on their menu for their burgers. Just one patty, no dressing, no special toppings. I made a rookie mistake and got a tasty but very thin and flat run of the mill burger - what did I expect? That's exactly what I ordered. The Farmer burger has avocado and bacon - I don't normally love either, at least on my burgers, but maybe that would have made the burger more interesting. The fries were good. I'll have to go back, and when I do, I'll have to be more adventurous to give this place a fighting chance.

This place is a glorified fast food joint. I find it similar to Tom's Burgers. After trying Farmer Boys' food, though, I definitely prefer Tom's. There aren't a lot of menu options. I ordered a chicken BBQ ranch wrap because I had a coupon for it. It was for a $6 combo. Not bad for a drink and a wrap I think. The wrap came in a basket. It didn't look as appetizing as the the wraps shown on the menu above the registers (of course, fast food rarely looks as good as the pictures they use to advertise them). The first bite was pretty good, but after a while, there was a weird after taste. The portion was what I consider to be on the small side, and I still couldn't finish it because of the taste. I'd like to think I enjoyed eating half my meal. I was here with my dad and brother and their meals didn't look very appetizing either. My dad also waited a long time for pancakes he ordered and when we finally asked about them, it turns out the cashier didn't even put in the order. Two stars because of less than average food and service. I wouldn't eat here again if I had a choice.

I don't normally eat at farmerboys but I get here at 10:02 and its 10:40 and my food still not here I ordered pancakes and eggs which is like less then 15 mins to make. I been done with my coffee and no one came to get me my refill

Wow - they really lost me tonight. Arrived around 6:15 PM for what we thought would be a quick dinner. With only one person in line we stepped up and were ready to order. 5 or 6 mins later, we finally placed our order. My wife ordered a breakfast platter and I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. After about 10mins the breakfast platter was delivered and the server said the coffee for my wife was on the way, and my salad will be out in about 1 min. After 10 mins the coffee was still not delivered to the table -- went up to the counter to retrieve it -- wasn't offered any excuse why it wasn't brought out. About 20 mins into the meal, still no salad, and my wife was just about done with her meal. The server was busy wiping down tables and didn't notice the salad was sitting on the counter. The manager didn't seem to care as she was filling the straw container. Walked up to pick it up myself and asked if they forget about me --- no reaction at all. The server walked over and picked it up and delivered it to my table with an apology. I'm hoping it was just a bad night for this crew, because in general I like this establishment. We'll try them again. Hope the service gets better.

Last Sunday we decided in spite of 3.5 star rating... to try Farmer Boys for a Hamburger. The place was packed.... usually a good sign :-) Service was excellent... restaurant clean... bright and cheerful. I ordered their "Natural" cheeseburger combo and the fries were excellent. The zucchini was great. Terri ordered their regular cheeseburger combo. with Fries and Onion Rings... they brought it without Onion Rings... then brought her two (2) onion rings. Both Burgers were terrible. No beef flavor at all. we were really disappointed and my Natural came with Tomato and Onions... hardly any cheese... and no lettuce. On top of that... it was overcooked and dry. The only time in my life I've not finished a hamburger at a fast food restaurant. And ... this was a two hamburger combo and drink meal that cost over $17.00 I guess the lesson learned is stick to four stars or better... yelp has yet to let us down in that respect :-)

Both times we have been here we have been underwhelmed the breakfast burrito had way too much onions and just not good, the burgers, we're okay but way overpriced!

After raving about the habit, I revisited Farmer Boys and decided that they do have the best hamburgers around. Better than even In'n'out. All their sides are delicious and I watched their servers and they were on point. I don't eating this type of food often but when I do I will eat here. The manager showed up at my table twice with a big smile making sure that everything was fine. There were no less than two people bussing tables immediately after people got up to leave. All_round great fast food experience.

Not their best effort at freshness of the burger buns. It fell apart as I was eating it. Service was soso.

I love to eat at Farmer Boys because it's like an upscale fast food joint. And since it's about $10 a meal it keeps the crowds at bay. This was the first time I tried the Grilled Chicken Club with Avacado! Wow! I'm still lick'n my lips after that delicious creation! But the drive thru takes FOREVER! So I had to dock it a star:-b

  • Aprylle L.

Worst service I've had in awhile. $30 for two burgers and two drinks. I asked a manager why it was so much, she immediately got defensive and gave me an attitude. Said: prices are up and that she couldn't do anything. I asked to see the receipt, she just turned it around and read it to me. Wouldn't let me see it. I was fed up with conversing with this uneducated, rude, MANAGER. I paid my bill and left, they handed me my food through the drive thru with out a word and slammed the door shut. I will be letting EVERYONE I know about my horrible experience.

I used to love this place, but it has completely gone down hill since the owners retired. They don't care about the customers and they ALWAYS get my order wrong. They never listen to their customers and don't care. I will not be returning to this location again. It is absolutely terrible.

Nothing worse than having egg shells in your eggs. Not a fan of Farmer Boys but it's been a few years since I've eaten here so I thought I'd give it another try. Disappointed yet again.

  • John T.

This place is horrible!! Went thru the drive thru and ordered a natural cheeseburger combo with diet Pepsi and onion rings with the burger cut in half. The only thing they got right was the cheeseburger but it wasn't cut in half. You may think this is petty but WTF!!! Why can't I get what I ordered??? Customer service sucks!!! We went in to get the order right and when the manager seen us, she went into the back!! Luckily the girl at the counter helped us out. At least she cared. The manager needs a serious lesson on customer service. Cuz I don't care what business you run, no customers, no business. Yes, giving a crap about us customers IS IMPORTANT!

My family will never return here again! I have a large family so when we walked in it seemed that the boy at the register was a little overwhelmed with how many people walked in at one time. My husband ordered a pastrami sandwich first thing, after he ordered his food the rest of the family ordered their food and we went to sit at a table to wait for food. It took awhile for us to get our food and then my husbands meal was missing. When he told the server that his bill was missing he stated that he would go back and check the receipt but that he didn't remember seeing a pastrami sandwich on the order. He suggested that maybe my husband changed his mind or decided not to get the sandwich. It was handled poorly! In the end of it all he asked my husband if he would like him to order him a sandwich and my husband said no that he would rather not have anything. The rest of the family were finishing their meals , I order the chicken avocado sandwich which was falling apart so I started pulling the bacon off of it and noticed that there was a hair in my sandwich! That was that, we were done, we left! I don't even know why i gave them 1 star!!

Wow, bacon cheeseburger, best I've ever had. Reminds me of Nations restaurant I used to go to in San Jose. Went back for breakfast a few days later, just as I expected, delicious.. This will be my go to semi-fast food place.

  • Oscar A.

We'll I went there the other day ordered a couple of different burgers. They each came out bland for some reason. I came here with high hopes from my last review. Service was good nice young lady on the drive thru. Overall the burgers failed my taste test. Dissatisfied. Stars are for service not food.

    (3)
  • Christie S.

I've only had a great experience every time I come here. Lots of choices so I can always get whatever I'm in the mood for. Their breakfasts are my favorite (LOVE the french toast!!!!) and my boyfriend loves their burgers - so big and delicious. This is my go to spot when we want a real meal and not fast food but don't want all the hassle of a regular sit down/waiter restaurant. I'll definitely be back!

    (5)
  • Janie M.

Normally we can get a decent meal at farmer boys but it isn't always consistent and the other night we had a horrible experience. The food was cold, the fries were limp, the chicken tenders were so over cooked they were almost black and you couldn't bite into them. The California BLT's bread was not toasted so it was a soggy sandwich, I could go on... What was worse was when I called the next day to complain, the new owner asked me to bring the food in to show her!!! This was after I told her we frequent the restaurant (for the salads) and we usually have a pretty good experience, but I was calling because we spent over $40 and I felt we got completely robbed because the food was so bad! I proceeded to have a long conversation with her about how to treat customers and told her that we would probably not be returning.

  • Robert R.

This was my first time visiting this location. Good food as always at farmer Boys but the service here was not as good as the other ones I frequent. I had to ask twice for my table to get wiped off so we could eat and go up to the counter several times for a refill on my coffee. Yes they were busy but so are the other ones and yet not a problem. It didn't help that the table next to me had some friends of one of the workers who spent a lot of time talking with the instead of servicing the customers (I was not alone here). There was one girl who was doing a great job but it was more than one person to handle. Disappointed with this experience here.

  • Liz F.

The menu is loaded with lots of fattening, yummy food. It's hard to find many healthy options here. Lots of deep fried foods and fatty burgers. They do have a couple salads that are loaded with calories and offer a garden burger and grilled chic sandwich. Oh well. But you come out if there smelling like the fried foods. I've been here a couple times and noticed this. They really need a better ventilation system in here. It's stuffy and smells of fried foods. It's a clean restaurant and the staff seems nice and are constantly moving around cleaning tables and attending to guests ... That's nice.

  • Elle A.

I rarely hand out 5 stars, but this place came close with the level of service and quality of food. Perhaps this place shouldn't have a drive thru as many have suggested on here. If you want a quick bite as you're running to work, you might want to try Jack's up the street. After being disappointed with the Chick-Fil-A, I didn't really want to have to try another chain. Still when you are in Murrieta/Temecula, dining options are almost nonexistent. In any case with an empty stomach and full of hope, my hubby and I walked into this place at about 8:30pm on a Sunday evening and have been back several times since then. Move over In-N-Out burger and even thought it isn't Kidd Valley (I miss you Seattle!), this will suffice. Order the small fried zucchini, TRUST! Don't forget the ranch dressing. It's orgasmic. Add a milkshake, they do not disappoint. * L.I. so I'll take stomach pain and cramps like a champ just to drink one.*

People there are beyond rude. Worst place I've ever been to. The manager I talked to was super rude. I came in there when this young lady came in and asked for a job application and didn't have a pen she she yelled at her in front if everyone. She was very unprofessional. Defiantly don't recommend this place to anyone.

This place is not a good place for family eating. Everything is ala cart. For a family of six I might as well go inside a restaurant and eat. This place is expensive and It quickly adds up. I'm not a fan of this place even if I were to eat here alone.

Worst place in Murrieta..Michelle the manager is so rude and not helpful what so ever, they defiantly lost a few customers I will never go there again. And they are not about customer service don't let them fool you

I've been a here a few times and have had hits and misses with both food and service. Their burgers and onion rings have never disappointed. Their drive-thru does take a while but that's really par for the course in this style of restaurant. I hit the drive-thru this morning, massively craving some good breakfast food, and not wanting to sit down inside anywhere. I was very pleased by the service at the window. She was so courteous and sweet and it really stood out. I waited a little while like usual before she handed me my food. Once I got home I found soggy sourdough toast (most likely due to condensation in the to-go box). These were quickly righted with a quick run in the toaster (then they were delicious!). The bacon wasn't as crispy as I usually like but there was nothing wrong with them. The coffee is average/good and the eggs were ok. Unfortunately, the hash browns were a mess. They were cooked, technically, but they barely had any brown on them. I ended up not eating them; they were flavorless. I would have gladly waited another minute or two for crispy hash browns!

I've been here a handful of times. Most of the time I get breakfast because it's quick, cheap, and pretty good. I've had the BBQ chicken salad or whatever it's called, and both times it given me explosive diarrhea.

If your looking for a good semi-fast food restaurant with delicious char-broiled burgers or salads (for the health conscience) in Murrieta, this might be the place for you. They also have great sides, and shakes... albeit a bit on the pricey side! The service is generally friendly and quick to serve. My only complaint would be that the onion rings, which are good, are quite expensive considering you get very few of them. All in all, I really enjoy Farmer Boys.

Have eaten at this particular Farmer Boys in Murrieta three times now and all three times have been excellent! Prices are good, service friendly and the food was delicious. Will be going for a fourth time!

  • John H.

Went to Farmers Boy's today after running into Lowes for a quick bite to eat. I was impressed with the menu and was please to see that they offer 'Grilled' Chicken versus 'Fried' Chicken options. I ordered the Grilled Chicken wrap without the cheese, and it was very nice and tasty. It hit the spot and I would eat it again. The price for the wrap was a bit steeper than I thought. As other reviews stated, I do not recommend going through the drive through. I ended up sitting in my vehicle for over 7 minutes with the engine off with only one car in front of me. I would suggest dining in.

    (3)
  • Anne H.

Food is good, but not worth the wait. I have been sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes already & only had 5 cars in front. Now at 3 cars. Drive throughs should not take this long!

Today we visited the drive-thru at this location. We ordered some zucchini, which is AWESOME by the way, and a chocolate shake. The service was good but VERY slow! There was only one car ahead of us and we had to wait 15 minutes! There were cars adding up behind us and I started to hyperventilate because I started feeling claustrophobic like we were stuck if we needed to get out! Ahhh!!!! Please get a bit faster service for the drive thru.

Today, I sent my daughter to get me a sandwich ( a 10 dollar credit) that was promised by the owner 6months ago, because of a previous visit that I had. It has taken me 6mo. to go back now I'm being told by the manager Michelle that I need a receipt to get my 10 dollar credit. When I talked to the owner I was told to just come in and I would be taken care of. And no receipt was needed. So again POOR SERVICE AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!

I got the sausage breakfast burrito. EXTREMELY dissapointing. It was small, not very good, and way overpriced. I left with the feeling I made a huge mistake. Extremely dissapointing

20 minutes for a sausage breakfast burrito with no sausage in it...gave them a second chance to be late to work and unsatisfied... Not worth the wait or money... Never again!

We always use drive thru. The food is made to order so you will have to be patient!!!! The hotcakes are really good!!!

So country bumpkin cute and delicious! Their burgers could be a little thicker but they make up for it with their side order of zucchini "fries". Fries being the operative word since these puppies were just a whole zucchini sliced into long, thick wedges, battered and fried. So filling! If you go here, do order these! As for the interior, definitely reminded me of those old country farm eateries I used to see when I lived in Pennsylvania. So farmhouse chic and the service was so warm and inviting. Don't let the drive thru fool you. This place is made-to-order, so expect possibly a 10-15 min wait for your food. But it's definitely worth it!

So annoyed at this place. I ordered a breakfast burrito and an egg/bacon platter in the drive through. Got home (10 minutes away) and realized they forgot to give me the burrito. I called and they said, oh come back and we'll take care of everything. When I drove all the way back, the manager said he would only give me a new burrito or a $5 off certificate for the next visit. What???? In the meantime, my other breakfast was getting cold and he argued about even giving me another one of those. It is so frustrating getting horrible service at a place that servers mediocre food at best. Oh, this is also the slowest drive through in the valley. You know what? It's my own fault for going back there again after a number of blah experiences. I'm not going to make that mistake again.

Everytime I stop in for breakfast I get a "Good Morning" with a smile. Food is served hot and the way I ordered.

All I have to say is thank goodness for Farmer Boys drive thru. Sometimes I just was a really good fried fish sandwich (and I don't mean some weird, square frozen patty slapped on with cheese and tartar sauce) but a good, fried, REAL FISH breaded and fried sandwich with fresh veggies on it. Its easy to just stay in my car and grab one without having to tote the kiddies out of their carseats, just so mommy can fulfill a craving. My only complaint is that sometimes you can end up in the drive thru for about 25 minutes. But I guess sometimes you pay that price for fresh and not pre-made food.

Farmer boys used to be one of my favorites for lunch. I've had a few lunches lately that we're not as good as they used to be. I decided to try breakfast this morning, and I wish I hadn't. The breakfast burrito with no meat was so hot that I really didn't enjoy it. As for taste, it was pretty bland, a little salt and pepper might have made it tastier. Higher prices and less quality. Needless to say, I probably won't be eating here anytime soon. It's no longer one of my favorite restaurants.

Three because the restaurant is awesome FIVE STARS!! Drive-thru is a zero almost ONE star. Bummer! My 8 yr old said, "obviously the management hasn't taught their employees to do the drive-thru right." Agreed! Upside down food shoved thru a window? Can ruin a restaurant totally.

Stopped by here with El Jefe for a quick bite while we were running errands. Consider this place a step up from McDonalds. The portions are generous. I love that the staff takes the time to come around and check on you, even where they are obviously packed with people. The menu is extensive so there is something for everyone in your group. The hamburger patties are a little thin but you owe it to yourself to try out the fish sandwich. Nice portions of fish. Now if you are watching your calories, keep driving, not much for you here.

Well the restaurant itself looks great and it's really clean, obviously well managed. As far the food I decided to try a bacon cheese burger and well let's just say it was equal to about the quality of McDonalds, I could tell it was char broiled but other than that it was super thin and had no taste. I will not be going back because well i love food and thats just a waste of calories.

I go to farmer boys all the time, it's become one of my favorite restaurants until now. I ordered about $25.00 worth of the food for my family the other night and as I'm waiting for my food they gave half of my order to another car. I had already waited 20 mins after I initial ordered until they told me they messed and gave half my order away to another car and said it would be a few more mins. I then had to pull around to the front where I waited another 30 mins for them to remake the rest of my order. I waited well over 45 mins for 3 cheese burgers, 3 fries and 2 chicken fingers. The girl in the drive thru was an idiot my 7 year could do a better job and there was no manager and they could not credit my card when i asked them too cause i didnt want the food anymore i was done waiting and the manager the next day when i called was an arrogant asshole with no customer service skills. So I will not he eating there anymore! And will tell other people not to eat there.

First off lets talk about the claim, Best Hamburgers in the World... Well they WERE really good burgers. In fact they taste just like the one that I make at home on the grill. The meat was fresh and you could see them making the patties after you ordered them. The onion rings were GIGANTIC (as they should be since half an order is 4 onion rings). The french fries were nothing to write home about, pretty generic but god nevertheless. Next lets address the decor, picture Little House on the Prairie meets A&W. While the decorations don't affect the taste of the food, it could still stand to be updated a bit. OK, back to the food. I took my sons with me and they each had a kids burger meal with a drink. The price was comparable with In & Out, and the food was as good or better in my opinion. I would recommend getting an adult sized burger for kids 6 and above as the child's portions are truly "kid sized". Now lets summarize, my sons gave the restaurant 5 stars, and I have to agree. Not sure if that was the greatest hamburger that I have ever had, but it was definitely up there. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a good burger at an affordable price. Oh yeah, the employees were fantastic, and the table service was great. While the drinks are kind of small, there are free refills and they will come to your table and get them for you. ENJOY!!

We used to go there all the time years ago. When we went recently we found the food to be good, but the portions have gotten smaller. Overall a good breakfast.

Great burgers and yummy diner breakfasts! Don't let the drive-thru fool you. Farmer Boys have several locations around California. I've been to several and the meals are really great quality and the service is always friendly. I've had several burgers, the zucchini sticks, and the french toast. All were great (though I burnt my tongue trying to eat the zucchini when it was way too hot). Highly recommended.
