recently went to this spot with a pack of buddies because we were hungry and we've eaten there a lot because it's good food good burgers good chili cheese fries but this time one I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no onions or pickles and they gave me a bacon cheeseburger WITH pickles and no onions... that however isn't the reason I'm taking away 1 star from the 5 yelp allows, halfway through eating my bacon cheeseburger I decided to look at what I was eating and noticed that they gave me two top buns instead of one top bun and one bottom bun. I would have never thought eating a burger with two top buns would be that much of a difference until I actually did it and oh man ! the ratio of seeds I tasted to the actual burger was redonk !! I hope I never have to eat a burger with two top buns ever again but I will definitely be going back there and eating again because it's still good food lol keep in mind if you like shakes as much as I do just know that THEY DONT HAVE SHAKES smfh they need to fix that and add shakes to their menu

Good food, good service, good price.. The fries are delicious by themselves.. I love coming here. The drive thru is kinda funky.. But cool.. Always great service. Definitely recommend if on a budget. They have family packs for a great price. The burgers are actual meat that tastes awesome. I chose this place over mcDs or bk.. It is cleaner, faster, friendlier.. Think local..

Went here on Thursday purchased 5 meals to-go came home ready to enjoy our meals to find a super thick gross hair inside of my burger after I bit into it. It's so disgusting and unsanitary! It makes no sense how it could have fallen in there by accident. I believe it was purposely placed there by an unhappy employee. I didn't want to make a huge fuss because I didn't want to ruin everyone else's meal. Aside from my hairy burger, service there was speedy and I can't complain about the two lovely ladies at the counter that were nice and helpful. Please make your cooks or anyone around food wear hair nets. And all hands away from their junk. (because that's what the hair looked like)

In the city of Montebello there are three popular restaurants on Whittier Blvd just blocks away from each other bringing crowd's of people to their restaurants. The three restaurants are Arry's Super Burgers, The original Golden Ox ,and the third one is Doublez. Today my wife and I decided to go to Doublez it's been a long time that we have been there. We almost forgot about this restaurant, we have been going to Arry's and the Golden Ox all the time. We were neglecting Doublez but my wife says," let's go to Doublez, I know its been a long time we haven't been there." I said," yes let's go." Doublez is very popular and always gets pack in the morning and afternoon due to the high school near by. When we went in the restaurant wow pack with people and busy in the kitchen and serving the order for dine in and also drive thru. I order the cheeseburger combo and my wife the breakfast Chorizo plate. We got our food quick that's fast service, the food was incredible good, we can't wait to seek our teeth in our meal. The cheeseburger combo was really good great flavor all around in the burger that's I really enjoy. The fries were good the right amount of season salt great fries. My wife Chorizo plate was all right I know my wife she has had better chorizo plates in other restaurants.

Don't do the drive-thru if you're in a hurry. I waited 20 minutes in it and if it weren't because it was the only thing open at the time and I was stuck in the line, I would have driven away.

The chicken salad is decent. It comes either large or small with a bread stick. I really like that the chicken is seasoned well. I wish it came with cucumbers, onions and carrot. I guess I could ask for that to be added..... Add some ranch dressing and you'll be satisfied.

Asked for iced tea, got a sprite. Payed for a large chili cheese fries & was given a small...AND my burger was noticeably colder than room temperature. Not to mention I waited a ridiculous amount of time in the drive through, with only one car ahead of me. F*ck this place, my burger craving was unsatisfied and now I'm in a mood. BEST GO TO ARRY's

This doublz is horrible. Came here my high school years. As a 26 year old now, I don't know what I was thinking. Maybe it was the cheap prices, which btw they no longer have. I don't know, but I decided to grab a BLT one afternoon after years away... simple enough. Bacon. Lettuce. Tomato. Well not for these fine folk. That btw are rude as all hell. Never going back. Arry's down the street for my burgers and fries from here on out.

The chicken strips are NASTY!!!! Fries are delicious and the burgers are decent. Had their breakfast not too long ago and it was definitely not worth it (eggs, bacon, pancakes). Not tasty at all.

I personally like coming here because of the fries. The fries are unique-shaped and is a factor to it's texture. Nice and crunchy outside and fluffy inside. The fries are also flavorful as it is seasoned. Their burgers are good. They have fantastic bacon, so I recommend the bacon cheeseburger.

    (5)
  • Jen A.

I always go with the cheeseburger and fries! Their fries are the best! Ive gone to all the burger joints down the street from them and this is my favorite in the area, the others are over priced and not good !Good job Doublz!

Gotta love me some Doublz! I used to come to this location all the time when in high school since it was close by. I hadn't been in a few years, and I went back recently. I remembered how good it was. The burgers here are really good. As good as you're going to get at any independent burger joint (and better than McD's or BK). The fries are thick and not too crunchy (makes for great chili cheese fries). I don't love the salads (too plain), but the burritos, quesadillas and most of the Mexican food is pretty good. The pricing is great and they have a family 4 pack that's quite a deal. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm nostalgic, but I do love me my Doublz.

I liked Doublz. Similar in concept to In and Out Burger, with a nice modern feel to the decor. I see a lot of people here complaining about bad service from the female workers, but I didn't see any female workers at all, when I was there the staff was all male and very attentive. I had a double cheeseburger which was charbroiled just right, on a nice over sized sesame seed bun. The lettuce on my burger was shredded, I would have preferred lettuce leaves, shredded lettuce tends to slip out of the sandwich. My onion rings were excellent. My friend had the big fat breakfast burrito for dinner, which he enjoyed. I watched the cook making them before I recommended it to my pal. Fresh hash browns were on the grill, to which the cook added fresh eggs, and bacon, or sausage. The place was mostly clean, but my table top was a bit sticky.

This a legit burger joint I love their burgers and fries thank god they offer ranch and thousand island if not I would rate this place 3 stars. If you are a guy and happen to take your gf here be prepared because these boys have no mercy they will check her out and eye her the whole time you're there lol these guys don't even dissimulate they be whistling at one another to check it out lol BTW I'm not joking

Three words: Chili Cheese Fries! Burgers are big and tasty, the fries are really good because they have a type of larger fries than other burger places. I usually come in and get their chili cheese fries without the seasoning; they're mouth watering. Other than the chili cheese fries, this is like any other burger joint. If you're in Montebello, I'd recommend Arrys.

Horrible Customer Service!!! Every now and then I pass by for there fries but I have to deal with there poor customer service. I arrive and the cashier is mingling with the cooks about which color she should dye her hair. After she turns around she doesn't even greet me just stares at me! Doesn't tell me my total after I'm done ordering and turns around once again to talk to the cooks! This place usually has dirty stains on the floor and wth is up with charging a paying customer .50 cents for a cup of water. Besides the dollar burger and fries the other items are not worth there price especially with the bad customer service. This establishment is in dire need of an effective manager.

I love doublz but the blonde drive thru idiot gets my order wrong every time. I'm in between the one in El Monte and this one. I only come to this one cause I'm always in montebello. I'm just addicted to the chilli cheese fries.

  • Moses M.

Ok where do I start?, so after hearing about this place for about 2 year finally decided to give it a try. My wife order the "hot wing" combo and I got the "club" sandwich. The wings did not have enough souce and the meat it self was dry. Now to the club sandwich. Frost it don't have ham only turkey and bacon it wasn't even cut is 4, come one to me that's what makes it a club sandwich. Will I be back I don't think so maybe if it was my last option but ther are lots to choice from in that street.

The chicken burrito is pretty good, but the MAIN reason I come here is for their perfectly seasoned fries!

Every time l go through the drive thru, l get attitude from the girls. Always getting wrong change and l ask no tomato and l got tomato. Food is good but need girls with good customer service.

Beware of the food here. So I have came here a few times and it's always been decent. They are not the most sanitary business but I still ate there until last night. Last night I went to Doublz and my husband discovered 2 long pieces of hairs in our fried zucchini fries. IT was nasty because they were super long and mixed in the batter. After he saw the 2nd one he was done. We couldn't eat them and threw them away. When I tried to tell the restaurant the first time they put me on hold and never responded. When I called back, the worker said the manager was too busy to talk to me. (You would think managers would talk to a customer with that form of complaint. I called the next day to get the owners' or managers # but they didn't give it to me. I ended up reporting them to the health department. I hope they clean-up this place and have better customer service and cleanliness.

It is like a Denny's on the go that you can bring home to the family. They may charge a tad much but their portions are amazing! I highly recommend the chicken quesadilla it comes with 3 free sauces as well. Great for breakfast foods, lunch family deals for 4 and dinner food is present as well.

I felt that the girl who took my order could have smiled and have been a little friendlier, or at least have said hello...she also got my order wrong. The food was pretty decent, no complaints there. Tables could have been cleaner. I don't really care to return here when there's an Arry's, and a Nick's nearby with waaaay better customer service and food.

    (2)
  • D L.

Been coming here for years...it's been great...the last time there got the steak and eggs...awful. ..the steak was so dry its taste like ruber...they replace the plate to eggs and ham...THANKS....recommended highly on breakfast. ..not this time

    (2)
  • Alejandra S.

Horrible service. If you don't want to deal with people don't work at a restaurant. The girl gives so much attitude and doesn't get the orders right she's always distracted doing something else.

I should really stop eating like this...but it's hard (haha, that's what he said). But really, their fries are delish! Burgers are pretty good. I don't like that they use the shredded lettuce for burgers but hey, I'll eat it anyway. Their french toast is bomb diggity and so is their chicken salad! Prices are a little high but worth it because they serve A LOT!!! :-)

    (4)
  • Kristina V.

Yummy fries or chili cheese fries!they hook it up w the cheese like no other.thus chili comes close to Pinks hot dogs chili..pastrami is pretty good, lots of meat.

It's a burger joint, nothing special just like the rest of the burger joints in Montebello. You'll probably see the same Sysco truck delivering food to all of them. If you're too tired to cook or in a hurry it will do but it is just an average greasy meal.

    (3)
  • Dee F.

You get what u pay for. Actually Doublz is a bit over priced considering the taste

I love the chicken sandwich at this place. People are friendly here. Can't wait to try the rest.

    (5)
  • Stacy S.

Thee best grilled chicken sandwich in the area can be found here at Doublz! Get it served on a french roll, and you may have leftovers for later. The grilled chicken is perfectly seasoned and the amount they serve is extremely generous. Paired with seasoned fries in the combo, or on its own, its my favorite item on the menu :)

    (5)
  • Cintya P.

For me, I really have to be in the mood to crave anything from Doublz. There are times when you just crave fatty goodness and unleash your cravings to the nearest greasy spoon, which for me is Doublz. Doublz is a decent burger spot where you are able to get good quality burgers and tasty thick cut seasoned fries that are a large enough portion to share. Hence the name, DOUBLZ for double the value?...perhaps?

    (3)
  • Dickie R.

There Chicken Salads Are Great Here! Very Big Portions That Will Last You 2 Sitings. The Burgers Are Good But The Fries Here Are Way To Salty! They Are Very Quick On Completing Your Order. Give It A Try! :)

  • Christopher G.

The customer service at this location is complete crap. Never coming here again.... rude people.

  • Karen Y.

Yes, it's a high school joint, but what do you expect from a fast food burger joint right down the street from a high school. If you're not looking to get annoyed by roudy high school kids, don't go during high school hours. So anyway, this place has some really amazing food. Their fries are delicious. Thick cut fries with an amazing seasoning. And they give you plenty with your order. I always get the avocado sandwich (two slices of white bread with mayo, lettuce, a lot of avocado). Very delicious sandwich for what it's composed of. I also used to have the chicken salad which was very tasty. I've been meaning to try their breakfast menu. I think it's served all day. The place is clean too. Lots of booths around and open late night. There's like tho flat screen tvs that usually show novellas for people who like to stick around a bit.

Muy bueno fast food if there is such a thing. Burgers are tasty and the fries are good. Their breakfast burrito is damn tasty and probably the best in the area. Fried zucchini were fresh and pretty darn good. Recommend if you're in the mood for artery hardening food.

I honestly don't know where the other people go off saying this place is not good! i had HIGH expectations of this place since I've heard so much about it. went with friends to pick up some breakfast after a long night of drinking and oh boy did we make a good choice, I got the bacon cheeseburger hands down DEEEELicious!!!! bacon in EVERY bite! freshly made fried zucchini's and onion rings!? YUMM-O! my friends got breakfast burritos they were all delicious too! i would've given it 5 stars but they forgot out salsa =(

Decided to stop by here for a burger while I was in town for the holidays. I couldn't remember if I'd had them before I moved away, but I'm fairly certain I didn't or else I would've made that a definite visit each and every time I come home. I ordered a combo of a cheeseburger, fries, and a coke. The cheeseburger looked a bit like a mess, but it was oh-so-good. Shredded lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, onions, ketchup, and mayo are piled on a nice sized patty dripping with melted cheese. Yum. Their fries were amazing. They were fried until crispy golden and sprinkled with seasoning. My mom loved them so much that the next day, on the way home from getting a pastrami at the Hat, she stopped at Doublz JUST for an order of fries. So they MUST be good. Right? They've got all sorts of stuff on their menu from sandwiches to salads to burritos to hotcakes. There'll be something here that everyone can eat at a really good price.

  • Ruben A.

This place was the bomb when it first opened and offered a tasty and cheaper alternative to restaurants for breakfast. Now lets go to 2k12 absolutely not!!!! They have menu's which are NOT up to date with acurate prices. They also nickel and dime you for every damn condiment! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO TO DENNY's or ARRY's

I LOVE Doublz. It's close to home, CHEAP, and delicious! Their $1 hamburgers are huge compared to what you get at fast food joints and so good. I love their seasoned fries! Everything I have eaten here has been good. Healthy? Uh, probably not since I mainly consume their fries, burgers, breakfast foods, burritos. They have a drive thru which tends to go by quickly. Restaurant is clean. Bathrooms are fairly decent... I wouldn't say the cleanest, but also not one of those places where you're afraid to sit on the seat. Fountain drinks are free to refill-I recommend half fruit punch and half sprite. Yum! They have their own parking lot. It's small and can sometimes fill up quickly depending on the day/time your arriving.

Well I drive past this place all the time and I am a local resident so this place was really interesting when I saw it first open up. I went there a few times throughout the years because either we were working on the house or picking up my little sister from school. There chili for the chili cheese fries is edible but nothing worth getting I just stick with their season fries and they put them in a see through container that gets crazy hot. Their specials are really good so that's what bumps them up to a strong two stars. But unfortunately with all the competition nearby there is way better flavor within walking distance and that is what matters. I suggest visiting Arry's, Toms, Johns, and Golden Ox if you're in the area.

  • Monica G.

I am more of a health concious eater so this place is not up my alley but its not bad. The turkey burger was fairly juicy and the seasoned fries were really good. You can ask for Ranch and they will not charge you extra as some places. The bathrooms remind me of a space ship but are clean. Not bad.

Had to try the pastrami burrito that i had seen on my friends fb account. Pastrami, like bacon, is pretty much the cure for any dish that you want to make better. This concoction is full of pastrami, chili, cheese, and other condiments and the results are relatively good, but not stellar. There used to be a place called the Kosher Burrito in downtown that knocked this out of the park! Pinks also has a great version of this with a kosher hot dog in it... Also had the taco plate which features hard shell tacos. These too were also relatively good. Shells were a little chewy but the toppings were good. 6 out of 10 as far as hard shell tacos go. Chili fries were good portioned, lots of cheese and high on the grease level which gives them high marks in regards to chili fries... :) As another reviewer points out, there are so many other options close by. The service was excellent and the people great. And late at night, this place was packed...

  • Sam L.

Used to eat here a lot and i normally get a hamburger combo. The hamburger and fries were decent, but the prices were real worth it. Also, the cool thing is the variety of food and soda flavors they have. I only come here now, if I pass by the area; but it's not a place I would constantly drop by.

    (3)
  • Maggie K.

Bring on the grease baby! Just like any other burger place that's independently owned. All the nasty high school kids fill this place up after school around 3. Drive a couple of more miles and grab in n out!

    (2)
  • Maria A.

YUM seasoned fries! YUM Onion rings! YUM Chicken sandwich! Crap location- as eeeeveryone and their moms below just said- it's infested with high schoolers that think Justin Beiber is the ultimate performer and that skull necklaces are 'so cool'. You get the point. Drive by and pick up a greasy delicious meal. When you're in the mood for a pig-out, Doublz is definitely the place to do it.

    (3)
  • Becky V.

The chili cheese fries were definitely the highlight of this trip, but was disappointed with the quality of the hamburgers and fried zucchini. The meat patty were dry and not very flavorful and the zucchini tasted as though they used the same fry as they do for fried fish.

99 Cent 1/4 Pound Hamburgers. YEP!! these quarter pound burgers are actually $1. and they are very tasty not to mention very cheap. screw McDonalds dollar menu, you should consider Doublz next time you're in the area (montebello) aside, from the burgers, they also serve chilli cheese fries, chicken, etc.. i've heard that the milkshakes are actually decent, this place is opened everyday till 11pm. they also have a drive thru. Doublz also has a couple HDTV's for the big game, so yeah come here, you'll have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    (4)
  • Dr K.

The food is hit or miss, they use low quality ingredients. Fast service though and very clean over all. The very loud flat screen tv was only set to a spanish station. Food: Colossal Burger - 2.5/5 - The burger was ok, the pastrami was very fatty and large chunks. Ok over all, nothing special. Seasoned Fries - 2/5 to 4/5 - Some of the fries were pretty good, but some are really crappy, so hit and miss. Onion Rings - 4/5 - pretty well made and tasty.

  • Emilio V.

I went expecting Doublz to be another typical charbroiled burger joint. But, I have come to find out it stands out among some of the other burger joints in Montebello, CA. Although, I think the local favorite Arry's is just as good. I must say that Doublz certainly out matches them with their french fries. The fries are reminiscent of when Rally's fries actually use to be good. I really enjoyed them. The atmosphere is very clean and organized. The setting reminds me that of a large burger chain (Wendy's, McDonalds, Jack In The Box), but the burgers and fries definitely have that homemade goodness. I recommend you try it.

No. I had a small fly on my eggs. Didnt return them because they were drive thru and didnt see them until I got home. No, No, No!

They make the best seasoned homestyle-cut fries ever! I'm a die-hard fan of McDonalds fries, but these Doublz fries are extraordinarily good. We usually get the family pack of 4 each of burgers, fries and soda and it's such a big serving that even my husband, two sons and I can't finish the meal. The family pack now goes for $15.99+tx. The dinner plates are high-priced for a hamburger joint, but the amount of food served makes the price worth-while. For breakfast, my boys usually order the sampler plate and it is huge. So big that if I'm tagging along, I don't bother ordering anything because I can pick off of their plates. They're big eaters and still can't finish everything on that sampler plate! Their drive-thru lane is kind of funky. The first few times, we ended up driving right past the entrance into the main parking lot. So then we'd have to exit the lot, go all the way around the block just to get back into the lane. I really appreciate how fast their drive-thru service is. Sometimes, if I'm in the area, I'll drop by just for an order of those savory fries. p.s.-Their onion rings are worth mentioning also. Really thick with a good crispy batter.

    (4)
  • Sage A.

They used to sell their 99 cents hamburger that was a super deal. It was a large hamburger unlike those 99 cents mini hamburgers you'll see at McDonald's or Burger King. Unfortunately their prices have gone way up. As someone else posted when you start out with low prices, you kind of set yourself up to piss off the same customers that made you successful. I'll never go back.

  • David S.

Been eating at this spot since it opened a few years ago. Burgers are good but my favorite thing here, and the best thing here, are their FRIES!!! They're the thick cut fries, slightly crispy, and have that seasoning that makes them BOMBAY!! The fries get a 5 Star rating. Other than that the burgers are good. I can't really comment on all the rest of the food they have.. I usually drive through here for a cheeseburger combo and hardly try the rest of the menu. Prices are good and service is quick.

    (4)
  • Lalo L.

The best thing here are the chili cheese fries. Make sure to get them to go though. They seem to add way more cheese, and you get it all melty and gooey inside of the container. The burgers are decent. Thin patties, but a good size circumference-wise. shredded lettuce, thousand island, american cheese, the usual. The regular fries are very good. The seasoning is excellent, although they sometimes come with too much or not enouch seasoning. So why only three stars? The mexican food is horrible. Avoid that side of the menu. Please.

    (3)
  • Louis R.

Doublz is kind of an independent burger joint that becoming a chain while still serving decent burgers. If you're willing to go down to Washington, then California Burgers is better, but Doublz is the best on Whittier blvd. The burgers are large, but the patty is skimpy so if you really want to enjoy then order a Double. Now that's when you get to full flavor. The other items on the menu are also better than average as compared to any chain store.

A nice and clean place to eat. They have a few flat screens for your entertainment while you eat (if alone). If you're with a date, guys, sit with your back against the TVs ;-) Be a gentleman! Now for the food. The burgers aren't that great because of the sauce they put on them. I usually order my burger from there with no sauce. Otherwise, the burgers are pretty good. What's amazing are their fries. Their like steak fries you get at a resturaunt like Red Robin. ANd make sure you ask for the special seasoning on the fries. I don't recommend going there between 2:45-4pm. The local high school gets out and the swarm to eat there after school. Unless you like to hear the drama that's attached to teenagers, it shouldn't bother you -- have two teens and teach part time to teens so I know :) But other than that. Not a bad place to stop by to grab a bite. The staff too is friendly. Thanks for reading. Let's go eat!

  • Tomas R.

Doublz probably has the best prices for a cheeseburger in the neighborhood. You can get a cheeseburger for 1.99, and it is huge! You can order it with leaf lettuce or grilled onions for no extra charge as well. Their fries are also very large, and i usually share a small with a friend. The other food i have yet to try, but i am only told good things about it. The restaurant itself is a bit rundown but they do their best to keep it clean. Their service is quick and friendly. I would recommend Doublz to anyone wanting a cheap bite that would fill you up.

Why isn't there a Doublz in Nor Cal??? This place is good! I love the burgers, tasty and big. .99 cent for a 1/4 burger is a good deal. I also like the HUGE chicken salad, they give a lot of chicken and it fills you up. I also got the HUGE steak quesadilla and that thing came hot and fresh and I couldn't even finish it. They have a lot on the menu and its cheap prices for fresh made food. I recommend this place and would go back. Cheap prices, Fresh food, and good service.

This place is garbage! Stay away from here. Reported to the staff that they had roaches and all they said was that they are water bugs, and continued as if I was not even there. Their Burgers are nasty, just as nasty as the Arrys down the street. Their chili cheese fries are covered in layers of fat! To use debit or credit these asholes charge a 50 cent fee. A fee you are not aware about till after you pay. Cuz they never tell you.(hidden fees). In simple words. Stay away, and save your money.

Had one regular hamburger. "That's burger 101" as Guy Fieri would say. Its a good size for being under $2 and has a good dressing. I would eat it again..and again, and again, and again....

I have to say that this place is Good, I mean they have some Awsome Fries, and Pretty good Burgers, I mean they are no Arry's but they are ok, the service is pretty quick. I normally come here for the Fries and well umm yah that s about it, they have good Soda.. The prices are not too bad, humm maybe I havn't given this place a decent chance to Wow me with somthing, but to tell you the truth I don't see that happening... Arry's till I die or until it kills me..

Doublz used to be the spot for Saturday breakfast and an occasional lunch. I say used to because Doublz has gotten expensive. Doublz is like a Troys, or Jims burgers. They serve pretty much everything from breakfast to lunch to dinner. Nothing fancy just good food at what used to be reasonable prices. Now a chicken sandwich combo runs you right around $9.00 and for that price I would rather go to Alondra Hot Wings. My favorite used to be the pork chop and eggs breakfast, it was good and it was only about $5.50. Now it is closer to $8.50. I know it is not over the top expensive, but when you start off with low prices you kind of set yourself up to piss off the same customers that made you successful. Is it just me or is everything just getting crazy expensive?

I have not liked anything except for maybe the fries are average I guess. It is located right near the high-school and elementary school as well. After the schools let out this place becomes a zoo. I almost hit some kids the other day because they just dart out in front of traffic without taking cars into conscideration.

One of the best burger places to go to in Montebello. Of course you'll be paying a little more....well "Doublz" the price of your typical fast food joint. You'll love: 1) Anything on the Breakfast menu 2) Burgers are delicious! 3) Quesadilla is huge!! 4) Grilled chicken salad - this thing is gigantic! 5) Onion Rings I haven't really disliked anything they've served here. I don't think you can go wrong. Just have a good appetite because they give you plenty of food. Probably why there's a ton of overweight High School kids nearby.

My family and I always come back for the fries. Good stuff!! Burgers and breakfast are okay. I usually get a burger from Garduno's and the fries from here =)

They have a 99 cent burger that doesn't taste like real meat. They use this god-awful seasoning on their fries unless you tell them you want regular salt. On the positive side, their steak sandwiches are really good and the place is clean most of the time. For better food, try Golden Ox, Tom's Burgers, or Arrys.

I'm not normally in this neighborhood, but events took me here recently. Doublz is certainly a good burger joint -- tasty burger at a good price. For a decent sized cheeseburger and drink I paid less than $3; that's better than any fast food chain I've been to in recent memory!

So, this place is pretty good. I've had a variety of different dishes here! I would have to say, you really can't go wrong with what you order on the menu. It's all greasy and yummy!! If you're watching your weight, this isn't really the place for you. I have to say, when I'm craving that burger and fries, I'll come here. It's all cheap eats. Their pancakes are pretty good too! Fair warning... the taquitos aren't great. Can this place be better... yes. But, for the price you pay, it's nothing to complain about! :)

A burger joint in Montebello. I think it's a franchise. Well, anyway. They're food is bomb. For a fast food place such as Doublz, you get what you put in. Meaning, you definitely DO NOT get ripped here. Haha. They have seasoned fries which are very tasty. The quesadillas they make are quite huge. One more thing, get any of their burgers. You just have to try it.

the 99c burger is bigger and filled with more ingredients than burger king or mcdonalds. it's probably the largest hamburger for a buck in all of los angeles. trust me, i stop by all of these types of burger joints and they are always about $2.50. there was like 25 hispanics and i was the only asian there, so i felt like a superstar. i saw earlier that there is also one of valley blvd.. i might try that one tomorrow.
