Our family & friends consider this the best place for Prime Rib in Northern California with a definate true historical location. They take phoneorders to go, which is great when you need a respite from the kitchen after a long day outside!

Food was mediocre. Service was awful. After we sat down, no one came to our table to ask what we wanted to drink. I had to walk to the front to ask someone to come to our table. Waited a long time for drinks. Waiter stated that the bar was busy, that's why it took so long. As we were leaving, I looked into the bar - 2 people sitting there, Won't go back..........

I have visited this establishment when in the area for over 20 years. Comparing dinner here recently to days gone by, disappointing. The fondue is extra, soup or salad is extra and the prime rib was tough. White wine was served warm. Service was good.

We had a fantastic dinner here! Started with Fondue which was delicious, good Caesar Salad. But then came the entrees! My husband had Scampi, which he declared 5 times to be the most delicious he has ever had, and I had Beef Stroganoff which was fantastic. Tender meat (a real plus) fabulous sauce and so huge a serving I took about half of it home! The service was great, the place was gold-country charming and the prices quite reasonable for all we were served! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a really fine dinner. (We were there on a Wed. in July and it was not overly crowded)

The dinner was enjoyable. My husband particularly enjoyed the unique accessories to the meal: starting off with cheese fondue and good bread, then you get self-serving set of sour cream, green onions, and bacon if you get a baked potato. Service was pretty poor. Very slow and not very attentive. I purposely gave a low tip for how long it took to get drinks and the bill.

We have eaten at the Willow three times in the past year. Their patty melt is classic and delicious. The kids' meals are a generous size and come with dessert - a scoop of ice cream. The sweet potato French fries are absolutely the best and not to be missed!

DO NOT ORDER THE CALARAMI. It was pressed squid(?). It was cold and disgusting. The description was correctt "breaded and fried" it was the subject that was so wrong. We also ordered the potato skins. Egads, what was that yellow/orange stuff. The waiter called it fondue (which leads me to believe do not order the bread and fondue appetizer, either). The potatoes were not cooked evenly. It really was a mess. When I complained the manager did not come to the table after a considerable wait.
