Nothing to complain about. Same as most other Starbucks. Usually I don't visit this location but a lunch meeting brought me to the plaza. Can get very crowded during the lunch hour (which was when I went) so beware for that. I assume same will be for the morning. However, despite the long line, we received our coffee fairly quickly. One of us bought one of their new sodas and I had an iced americano. Very bitter, make sure you add a little sweetener. Parking lot can also become pretty packed so plan time accordingly. And expect to park in the back of the lot and walk a ways (for anyone who goes to work in heels).

Starbucks Coffee Starbucks Coffee's headquarters is lcoated in Seattle, Washington and #1 coffee brand in the world. (21,536 stores in 64 countries and territories, including 12,218 in the United States, 1,716 in China, 1,330 in Canada etc.) *. History: First branch was opened at Seattle on March 30th, 1971 and then it rapidly expand its branches between 1987 to 2007 like 2 branches almost every day. Original Starbucks established by English teacher Jerry Baldwin, history teacher Zev Siegl, and writer Gordon Bowker who were alumni of Univ. Of San Francisco to serve high-quality coffee to the customers. First branch was located at 2000 Western Avenue from 1971 to 1975 after that it was moved to 1912 Pike Place Market which is still exist. At the beginning, they only sold Roasted whole coffee beans, and they did not brew coffee to sell but they just gave free sample coffee to taste to sell whole coffee beans. In 1987, Original owners sold Starbucks to former employee Howard Schultz. Howard Schultz has been focusing on strong taste and Italian style espresso coffee. *. Logo: "twin-tailed mermaid, or siren as she's known in Greek mythology" She has been attracting us to drink coffee every day!

I have to say, although traffic was crazy coming in at 5pm on a weekday, the barista was very kind & speedy. There was very little waiting in line, I was able to order my drink quickly (a skinny cinnamon dolce latte) and it was made perfectly, with a smile. I visit a lot of Starbucks and a lot if them are average. I found this Irvine location to be similar to my favorite spot in Brea (at Valencia & Imperial) friendly and comfortable to be inside. I would definitely brave the traffic for the great service in the future.

This starbucks is always busy and loud. Also the table and chairs are not uncomfortable. I think they don't want people stay longer like Mcdonalds does. Because they are in super busy business area. If you come to order and pick up then it is OK, but this is not Starbucks for reading a book, Wi-Fi with your laptop...

Starbucks' specialty is not the quality of their coffee, but rather their extraordinary level of customization, exceptional customer service, and friendly attitude. What made Starbucks so popular this past decade was the personalized experience offered to each customer. By including the patron's name on the cup of each drink and calling out orders individually, each customer can connect with the barista who hand-crafted his or her beverage. It's also easy to send a drink back for correction if it were prepared incorrectly or not made the way you wanted it. Customers will not leave without receiving first-class service. Another signature of Starbucks is the ability to customize. You can order drinks in any size up to 32oz and then add any ingredients, in whatever combination you can imagine. People's creativity have led to sugary "secret menu" concoctions full of whipped cream, syrups, dessert toppings, and artificial sweeteners, which transforms the beverage into something drinkable for people who do not enjoy the natural taste of black coffee or espresso. These two strengths propelled the Starbucks brand into spreading worldwide. Starbucks' spacious facilities became very easy to access in metropolitan cities. It served as a convenient place for a local meetup, a casual first date, an informal business meeting, or a temporary laptop campsite since Starbucks does not charge for Internet access. Unfortunately, Starbucks struggles most in the quality of their main product, coffee. As many coffee enthusiasts have mentioned and complained about, Starbucks' beans are roasted beyond the recommended temperature or duration, especially the espresso blend, "to feature a fuller body and robust flavors". Over-roasting releases oils stored inside the bean to its surface, rather than doing so during the grinding and brewing process, so the unique profile and nuances of beans originating from different regions is lost. Many of Starbucks' medium and dark roasts, even the single origin Reserves and their seasonal signature secured from the Casi Cielo farm, feature nothing but bitter, sharp smoky, and subtle spicy flavors. It's also shocking that Starbucks sells stale coffee. At this shop, the shelves are stocked with packages with no roast date labeled, which is likely done because Starbucks doesn't want you to know that the beans were actually roasted up to several months ago. What a waste of time and resources for Starbucks to source premium green beans from exclusive farms and lots and then sold as "Reserves" even after they had become stale. I also have high doubts that the beans used at this Starbucks store were roasted within 2 weeks, which is the average lifetime of a bean after it is roasted before the bean begins to deteriorate due to gradual oxidation. Starbucks was the cafe where I ordered my first cup of coffee. After a year of being a customer, I think that Starbucks' environment and customer service are exceptional, but their coffee should only be consumed for its caffeine content and stimulating qualities rather than taste. I would rather take a cold shower than finish a cup of over-roasted Starbucks espresso.

I come here almost every other day for my work lunch break just to get away from the office. All the baristas are SUPER cool and fun. They all try to remember my name and most do recognize me when I go! Awesome staff. What I like most about this place though, is the outdoor seating area. I come here very often, even off work and sometimes weekends to do some extra studying. I love the chill vibe that the arrangement outside gives, which is why I would choose to come to this Starbucks than the other ones. The only reason it's not 5/5 stars is because sadly, the coffee is just...Starbucks coffee, and not specially coffee, but it is what it is, though I would really, really love to give this place a perfect score.

  • Sean T.

Good coffee (no dark roast after 11AM, but will make it via the Clover machine). I'm giving a 3 star review, because the service is just a little slower then other Starbucks in the area. No matter how many people there are in line (2-15), I always feel I have to wait longer then other Starbucks in the area. This may be a temporarily fix with proper sales/staff training. The parking lot can be difficult to get in and out of during regular business hours as the shopping center is very popular. It's a good Starbucks for the local Irvine businesses. Free WIFI.

Excellent service. although most time it is packed as it is close to UCI but I like to come here a lot.

Told by cashier that I'm taking advantage of the Star system?? Really? On a recent trip to Starbucks I was planning to purchase my beverage on my gold card and a Christmas ornament with my Visa. She quickly said, in a very rude manner, "we cant do multiple transactions" "Why?" "Because people are taking advantage of the Star system" So I explained and we proceeded. I couldn't help myself, but I had to jokingly ask to buy all the banana's in separate transactions lol.... she gave me the dirtiest look - Priceless!!!!! Please note: there were no other customers behind me, I would not have made this request if there was a line. Anyway, I contacted corporate and they told me that if I want to have multiple transactions that its not a problem. Plus they sent me some free drink coupons yay!

Pretty large morning rush throughout the week. Baristas handle the crowds fairly well. Nice and clean location with a lot of parking. If you're in a bind or a rush-this isn't the place to go in the mornings. Many surrounding businesses with coffee maniacs. Employees have always been nice and embodied good customer service. They always get my drink order correct.

  • Michael M.

Hands down the best Starbucks in Irvine. The crew working here is always pleasant and cheerful and greet you with a smile. I have been coming here for awhile and almost always order the same thing. Even if the line is long, they see me in line and have my double espresso ready for me when I finally get to the front. A special shout out to Alexis, Marge, amd Sandra.

  • Holly E.

Despite having a cafe down stairs where I work, I always choose the 5 minutes walk to Starbucks instead. Me: I would like a venti iced green tea please, my name is Holly. Waited for 5-10 minutes and I see a green-yellowish drink for Amy. Me: By any chance is this drink actually for me Holly? (I asked the person who took my order) J: Yeah Me: it looks kinda yellow, is there lemonade in here? J: thats what it is, green tea lemonade w/no classic Me: Sorry, I actually ordered just regular green iced tea... J: Well whoever ordered it told me thats what they wanted - green tea lemonade (btw, I was that person) Uhm, wow. 1. My name isn't Amy. 2. I hate lemonade. 3.I paid for lemonade but simply wanted green tea w/out a refund (& I tipped) 4. Unnecessary attitude 5. Got my drink redone w/black stuff floating in it 6. Never coming back. It sucks bc some despite the hectic rush hour, I enjoy their drinks & most of the baristas are pretty friendlly ... but thay just killed it for me. I'll be sticking to the cafe downstairs from now on.

Ms Alexis made my valentines just now, she is smart, quick and funny as hell. GREAT STARBUCKS

  • Joann D.

The only reason they get 5 stars is because I go here 3-4 days a week. It's right next to my work and their coffee is much better than the cafe at our office. They've messed up my order several times, but what makes it ok is that they're completely apologetic about. This particular Starbucks is great at redoing an order with a smile and even comping your drink for you. They remember your name and your drink. I see them do it for a lot of the people in my building. It's not easy working through the morning rushes but they seem to have a good handle on it. Thanks for getting me my life saving coffee every morning!

    (5)
  • Geeyoung L.

Very friendly and helpful! They made the coffee fresh instead of giving me the pre-made coffee!

  • Kay P.

I am so sad.. to give only 2 starts. I live like right next to this location, and I wish my starbucks can improve bit more. They always burn their beans!! got that sour note at the end,, and I hate it! When I observe the baristas, it shows they do not know how to properly make a cup of decent coffee. Please have better trained staff to this location please.. because I would like to have my starbucks good with me...!!

    (2)
  • Bryan A.

They're awesome! They know my drink order by memory, and they spell my name correctly on the cup. I mean, lets be real.. It totally matters! But... BUT...There was this one time they wrote Brandon, that was tough to get over. Trending hashtags: #StarbucksParkPlace #YAAAAS #CoffeForMe #Bryan #IcedPlease #ThanksALatte

The restroom is really dirty for a Starbucks in such a hip neighborhood of Irvine. The baristas chat loudly among themselves; the order comes out slow.

    (3)
  • Dennis H.

This place has the Clover Machine!!! Super flavorful, you can stand up up close watch the machine at work just ask the barista. Definitely worth a try, slightly more expensive then your regular cup of joe.

    (4)
  • Stevie F.

I love Starbucks. The people here are nice and friendly. It can defiantly get very busy here with all the business buildings around. And yes the parking is not the best. The decor could be better also.

    (3)
  • Van D.

I can see why Cemone K. called this place a hit or miss. I've been coming to this location to study and write my papers a lot lately, and I've noticed that they are really friendly towards their frequent customers. They are on a first name basis with people and even their personal lives. It's nice IF you are among those frequent customers.. .. I, on the other hand, have not been around long enough to matter apparently. The service that I've experienced is pretty *ahem* BLAH!! if you get what I mean -_-' And on these days I get really SPECIFIC as to exactly how many pumps of vanilla I want in my iced venti caramel machiatto, but they still can't seem to make it right... ... Even more outrageous and disappointingly.. .. .. I pay for EXTRA CARAMEL :( And if you look at the picture I attached, the caramel is barely enough for a regular venti.. .. that's like the caramel-ratio for a grande =/ Overall, it's cool that they've been good relationships with their frequent customers. But it's not cool that they make others feel insignificant and shitty. And their drinks are right HALF of the time .. .. so yeah, go to the one on Campus.. .. they're more consistent with making good drinks.

Why Starbucks, why do you taunt me? You gave me something very special, a spinach square and then just take it away discontinue it. Why does Starbucks always have to heat everything to an insane temperature? You would think they have systems to control how HOT their coffee and pastries cook at? Apparently not, because anytime I order something from any Starbucks, it always burns the tongue.

  • Joyce D.

Starbucks, why are you so good? Came here for a work meeting and this location looks very fancy and modern. Love it! The staff is pretty nice and friendly. I love the ambiance of this location because of the modern feel. Great place to impress clients and talk business! Despite being hidden, this place got busy! Hey, that is how Starbucks rolls!

    (4)
  • Ana L.

This place is In a cool spot and has a good size, but it sucks that there isn't more seating inside. Everytime I come it's packed and the seating inside is taken! The staff is really friendly and the line goes by fast. Prices are..well Starbucks prices. A little too high for coffee. Their pastries are ok. I like the pastries they had before their new La Boulange Bakery came! These aren't as good and doesn't have a good variety. The staff has never messed up on my order here and I wait less than 5 min to get my drink everytime! Great service !

    (4)
  • Vanessa L.

The service here has really declined in the last 2 years. I work in the center and this squad if girls is not good...if you are a female customer. They can't talk and make a drink at the same time. I love the personal service, but I'm waiting far too long for a very easy drink.

    (2)
  • DJ C.

This is a hit or miss kinda place.....today Emily helped me and it was a great experience. Last night and some days I have to wait longer than the people behind me and being it's in a rich area and being a minority, u tend to watch for that kinda crap. Then the longer the wait, the crappier the drink.

    (4)
  • Tina H.

Went there twice this week & both times they screwed up my order. I use to go there everyday. Think I need to find another Starbucks to go to. Either gave me the wrong food, or order a venti & get half the cup filled. Not good service.

    (2)
  • Nissan S.

Each Starbucks location differs from one another based on their baristas. You assume that they would all be uniform but if you're a regular, like me, you can spot the little differences that differentiate each place. The morning crew makes this place extra special for me. Outside of small town mom+pop shops (almost non-existent in SouthOC), where else are you going to find such great people??? They know what I like and how I like it. I've been missing this place since I moved... FYI this place is ridiculously busy between 8AM and 10AM.

    (5)
  • Christian G.

On average I come here around 4 days a week. It can get a little busy, depending on what time of the day you decide to go. Despite that, the baristas do an amazing job at attending all their customers in a friendly way. Two girls in particular, Anna and Lindsay, they go above and beyond when it comes to customer service.

    (5)
  • Andrew S.

Basically your standard Starbucks... Except they have special coffee's! They will also make you a free drink if you don't Love yours.

  • Pancy T H.

I ordered travelers and pastries and picked it up 830am on the weekends. The 2 male (1 could be supervisors) baristas were rude however the young lady (cashier) were very sweet. When I asked for the used grounds, he said Starbucks don't pack it anymore and just throw them out. I wonder if that is true since isn't Starbucks environmentally conscious and asks its patrons to buy their recycle cups etc.???? I am shock Starbucks are no longer going green!!! OR is it just this store????

    (3)
  • Bosun O.

The employees here are really chill. They are very respectful and attentive. I would recommend this place to anyone.

  • Sarah J.

I think this is the fastest Starbucks!! I go to this Starbucks all the time since its right next to my work and I'm out of there in less than 10 minutes, doesn't matter how long the line is. Everytime I go to other Starbucks, I always think "why is it taking so long?!?!", especially when they're not even busy!

  • Lila S.

We were passing this Starbucks on our way to LA and made a pit stop here. Service was good and fast. Drinks were perfect like always and there's this really yummy yummy beautiful guy who works there. If I lived closer oh I'd be there all day everyday drooling lol.

Standard Starbucks, though tends to be on the busier side, so be prepared to wait in line. Staff seemed reasonably friendly though..........

This is the best Starbucks in Irvine. All the workers are just amazing. Very friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I'm a regular and they make me feel like I'm at home. :)

    (5)
  • Gabe J.

Starbucks coffee is pretty much the same in most places, the personality sometimes changes with the staff. This was a typical Starbucks, which was good, what I loved was all the outside seating, great job since it's a very busy center! I did have a problem with their wifi, that was annoying.

    (4)
  • Anne P.

I like the set up of this Starbucks, great indoor and outdoor area. The baristas are very friendly as well. I ordered a drink that they made incorrectly which they happily redid for me. The barista even offered me the one that was made incorrectly so I got two for the price of one. I left with a smile which doesn't always happen at every Starbucks. Haha.

  • Kelly J.

I am standing here right now and very upset with the service. First there was no line, two people in front of me whom the cashier chatted up for about 5 minutes ignoring me waiting. Then, the barista is standing here talking to those same two again, still waiting. Been here about 15 minutes, no other drinks waiting to be made. All I ordered was an iced coffee and that took them 15 only because finally someone came from the back and made it. Thank you to that blonde girl, but they should fire the brunette cashier girl with feathers in her hair and the brunette buzz cut barista. Thanks for wasting my time

    (1)
  • Cemone K.

This Starbucks is a hit or miss. Sometimes the service is superb and the drinks come out perfectly, others it seems like your order was unheard and they whip up their own concoction. If you're looking to come here before or after work, forget about it! The indefinite construction they have going on here will make grabbing a quick coffee the most arduous task of the day! Also, they have the weirdest hours; I think they close at 8 or 9pm on some nights, earlier during the summer? I don't know, you better call just to make sure. Only upside is that there is plenty of outdoor seating, some indoors, and as always free wifi. I prefer the Starbucks on Campus drive, though if you're planning on studying there you will never find a seat.

    (2)
  • Hanifi S.

Usually i am ok for waiting but i don't like to wait for a coffee 10 minutes.atmosphere is goods.

    (3)
  • Robert M.

Very professional crowd here, and a great location, except for the parking. Luckily most of the patrons here are from nearby office buildings, so that's not a worry for them. Open airy layout, with lots of windows, which means not many plugs for electronics. Mother's Market is nearby, with much better food items than you'll find here.

    (4)
  • Audrey N.

It's a hit or miss here. Either staff cares or doesn't care. Busy store, limited parking spots.

    (3)
  • Jenn P.

This is my go-to Starbucks, as it is right next door to my complex I would actually be sad if I ever moved haha. I love the employees here. They are always friendly and happy to serve you. I have gotten to know the longer term ones over time and they actually have my drink ready before I even reach the front of the line. The shop itself recently underwent a remodel an looks a lot nicer. They added a bigger outdoor area with a sitting bar. They also changed the inside, and added more seating which is nice, as this location gets busy. Only con is the parking at times. As much as IC has tried to change and redo the parking it is still a nightmare anytime around lunch or dinner, so be prepared.

  • Laina A.

While not MY Starbucks, this is a really good one. The hubby and I carpool, quaint right? We carpool to save gas moolah, not to save the earth. So this locale is close to hubby's work. Friendly efficient workers who also are good baristas! Watch out for the 15 minute spot car checkers/markers! They will give you a b.s. ticket. This is a busy center and a busy Starbucks, so parking can be a bitch-kitty. Lastly, not a sit and relax with comfy chairs Starbucks, more a sit and work on your laptop with all the local business people.

    (4)
  • Steve J.

This Starbucks is plagued by a terrible parking situation, sitting in the same tiny lot as Mother's Market, The Counter, Wahoo's, Which Which, California Pizza Kitchen, Ruth's Chris, and several others. If you're here between 11 and 2 just make sure you take your road rage pills and be patient in finding a spot. The real estate company, Park Place, is working on a new parking structure, but they are also building a LA Fitness right there as well, so who knows if this will actually improve parking. But if you can actually get a spot, the service is quite good Baristas are quick and friendly. It's mostly a crowd of local business people that work nearby.

This location is kind of dirty. Not run like all the other Starbucks I've been to. Cool set up but dirty dirty dirty. Won't be back.

The ONLY people I want to see at 6am on a weekday. And I mean that. Thank you for all those grande house coffees with sugar-free hazelnut. And by 'thank you', I mean everyone within a 5-mile radius should preemptively thank you too and breathe a sigh of temporal relief at my caffeine-quelled rage (but not at this increasingly run-on sentence).

  • Joy D.

Why do they always close 10 min before 9pm. So annoying when they claim to be open until 9pm. This is the 3 rd time. Ugh

    (1)
  • Moureen H.

Love the convenience of my Starbucks.. I can walk there on those warm Sunday afternoons, or those cool Sunday mornings.. The usual rotation of staff of course but most of the time we have friendly staff behind the counter. Parking is a bit of a mess at peak hours, even after the Irvine Company redid the parking lot.. popular little center apparently.

This place is usually really crowded in the mornings around 8:30AM-9AM. I've only come to this location a handful of times. Usually service is okay and staff is nice. Today, I came in and it was surprisingly not busy at all. There were about three people in front of me waiting for their drinks and another two behind me. Usually, the line wraps around the store so I thought today would be a good day. However, I saw the employee make my raspberry passion tea and she didn't shake the drink as she was supposed to. She just put water, tea, syrup, and ice and gave it to me. The bottom of my cup was warm and the top was cold. On top of that, she flooded the cup and gave it to me dripping wet. I was lucky that it did not get on my shoes as it was dripping all over the floor when I picked it up. It wasn't very busy so I'm not sure why she didn't take the top to properly make my drink. What a waste of money and a disappointment.

This is a good Starbuck's but beware of the parking nazi's. I had time to kill in the OC and decided this Starbucks would be a good spot for landing and utilizing the free wifi. I went out to my car and it had a "ticket". Since, it's not a real policeman, it's not a real ticket, but the warning was that if I park there often, they'll tow me. Hmmmm, will try a different spot next time I venture behind the "Orange curtain".

    (4)
  • Eri K.

This is rather one of the quaint, little Starbucks that I kind of like to go to. The plaza is super busy especially at lunch time so parking is a little hectic (hence the -1 star). The coffee baristas are really nice and good though! I would definitely come back. All in all, it's pretty much a standard Starbucks!

    (4)
  • Lisa A.

A great Starbucks location. Nice, clean with wonderful parking and a great out door patio area. Better then some of the other ones in this area. The baristas usually remember me and know exactly what beverage I like to order and have it ready for me prior to approaching the register.

    (5)
  • Natalie G.

Well this place is usually backed with a bunch of suits (businessmen/ lawyers) so its kind of uncomfortable to go to if you are a college student because you feel the stares. There is a guy at the. Also, there is gorgeous man at the register that looks a bit like Zac Efron. That was a nice plus :) They also made my drink super tastey and if I had questions they were quickti reply and offer suggestions that may be to my liking :) I'm going back to see that cashier! He's super cute.

The service here is impeccable. I left my iPad on a table and the barista made sure to call me and held it for me until I could pick it up a day later!

I come here all the time because I can walk here from my office. This Starbucks is always clean and has a very friendly baristas. It never gets too crowded here when I go. My drinks always come out good and quick. There decent amount of seating inside and outside. The parking may be a mess during lunch or dinner time. I usually try to avoid these times.

    (4)
  • Japen G.

Service has been very quick even when its the morning rush! Line has been reasonably short and you get your drink fairly quick! I've been here twice recently and I was helped by this tall barista and he was the friendliest.

The only person that really knows what is he doing at this store is a guy named Arie. I have this Starbucks store next to my office, so its my only go-to place in early mornings and on my craving moments throughout the day. Few months ago there have begun these major staff changes and all the good people (except Arie) left. The people at the cashier talk between each other to a point when its uncomfortable, because while they are talking about their weekend fun they overhear your order and have to ask twice. When I order from anyone else except Arie my drink almost always comes wrong. I do not know if its is about the instruction on the cup or the person preparing the drink - but somewhere in the matrix this always gets messed up. Arie is always professional, remembers people's faces, is very present and suggests little tweaks to make your drink more tasty! Love it!

This is by far the BEST Starbucks I have been to in OC. Every employee is so happy and helpful. In fact today I was made aware of the Holiday drink promo... Let's just say I was buying my 10th one in the last two weeks and not one other location has even bothered to have an engaging convo let alone notify me I will be eligible for a free coffee soon! I've been going to this location off and on for almost 8 years and now I won't bother with any others if I can help it!

  • Jataun J.

Stopped in to do a bit of work on my laptop and have coffee. Ordered my usual, regular coffee with a couple shots of vanilla. Usually this is 2$ even, sometimes 2 and a little change. She charged me 3. Wasn't in the mood to go back and fourth as her english was not the best. Great atmosphere, clean and mostly corporate professionals. Right next to a sushi place. A good place to work. If all you need is an hour you will be validated. I was there about 2 hrs and paid 10$ for parking. I had other business in the same structure next to the Marriot so the parking was a write off for me. May go again but will make a note to keep it under an hour.

I didn't realize there was a Starbucks on Michelson until I looked it up on Yelp. I actually like the service here, but the parking can be a pain in the butt sometimes. If you're there in the mornings, don't expect to get your order in as fast as this location is located near corporate buildings and offices which means lots and lots of employees getting their cup of joe before work.

This past weekend, my folks came down because my sister had a business conference thing in Irvine. We meet at the Starbucks in Irvine where Jamboree Rd. and Michelson Dr. connect. It's the shopping center that has Sport Chalet, Mother's Market, CPK, Ruth Chris Steakhouse, Fatburger, and Wahoo's. (Can you tell I've been there a lot). Anyway, it's the typically Starbucks Coffee shop with a never disappearing short line, overworked baristas, a single bathroom, and tons of people sitting around on laptops. My question Is Starbucks great coffee or just a status thing? I ask only because it is the exact question that always comes to my mind (and I'm assuming a lot of others) when they dish out $5 for a Starbucks coffee. When you really think about it, 90% of my Caramel Frappuccino is water, then there's a little syrup, a little Starbucks coffee, and tons of sugar. None of those ingredients together cost very much, yet we still pay it. At least, some of us do. So what are we paying for? I've been ordering my Caramel Frappucino since jr. high school, and probably single-handedly bought enough of them to build my own Starbucks. I guess what I'm saying is that I do think it is great coffee. The question then becomes, does the great taste rationalize the cost. I would say that two years ago it did. Times have changed since then, including the weight of my unemployed wallet. There's been copy cats recently striving to take a small cut of Starbucks business. Both McDonalds and NrGize have similar cold coffee drinks that taste nearly identical to the Caramel Frappucino. Trust me, I would know. The costs of these alternative are far cheaper nevermind the similar ingredients, but they don't come in the beautiful cup you see in the picture on my blog. That green iconic symbol of status that can be so prominently displayed as you walk to school or into the office without feeling any sense of boasting or bragging. That cup will just sit in front of you, on your desk, all day telling the world that you still can spend $5 a day....25 dollars a week...100 dollars a month....1200 dollars a year for that morning cup of joy that others, like myself, simply can't. I'm not complaining, I'm just jealous. Deep down, I love Starbucks!

I came here couple of time and what annoys me so much is that their wireless STINKS or hardly worked. I complained and stinking response is "Sorry... there's nothing we can do, it's probably the router" Well, Sh** get it fixed! POOR MANAGEMENT

my favorite Starbucks in Irvine because it's so close to school and the people are friendly. I also like that they sell all of the syrups there!

Just got remodeled. Very clean, polite service. Less sitting room inside now, but they have added some bar stool seating. Parking lot during lunch can be a zoo.

I know there are many Starbucks haters out there, but I am definitely not drinking that haterade! Okay Okay... So Starbucks is a huge corporation that makes a noticeable dent in my bank statement every month, but that doesn't seem to faze me because I keep going back on the regular! This particular location has become my lifeline because it is right across the street from the office that I work in. This makes getting Starbucks so easy and convenient, but ultimately it becomes very dangerous to my wallet. I love the staff at this Starbucks because they are always so friendly and make the effort to remember the names of all the regulars. I'm always amazed at their ability to remember names and drink orders! My white chocolate mocha (extra hot) always tastes great! I can come here and always know that I'm going to get a delicious extra hot cup of comfort. I love it. On mornings where I am starving more than usual, I crab a sausage breakfast sandwich or a banana walnut loaf. Their sandwiches are delicious, but I can never finish them because they are large in size especially for breakfast! It can get very busy at this location because of all the offices located in the area, but the staff does a great job of handling the lines that go beyond the doors! Thumbs up for the Michelson/Carlson Starbucks :)

OK... I would prefer to support a local coffee shop but there is nothing like that within walking distance to my work. So, out of desperation I will make a run to a Starbucks. Now, I know that Starbucks has those yummy breakfast sandwiches but for the longest time this location didn't. This location being the one in Park Plaza. You know where Mothers Market, Symposium Wine Bar, CPK, Houston's, Ruth's Steak House, Empire Salon and Bare Tan and much much more. That big plaza.. So, anyhow I am a little over the hippie food at Mothers. All though I do dearly love it. I just wanted something different. This Starbucks location now serves up those warm breakfast sandwiches. I used to be bummed when I would order a croissant and asked if they could warm it up and their answer was a "sorry, no oven".. Now they have that oven and I was rather pleased when I was able to pick up breakfast yesterday morning. I had the reduced fat turkey sandwich.. So, yes I am happy that they have the oven now. Those breakfast sandwiches are tasty... Oh.. They also have oatmeal now. In my opinion I think that it is lame to spend $3 and some change when you can easily pack a bag of instant oatmeal and some nuts and slice up fresh fruit and eat that... I don't know.. I sound a little cheap but I rather make my own oatmeal. But, I will let them make my sandwiches!

Went to this Starbucks last Sunday morning before a round of golf. The place was really quiet. I can't remember the last time I saw such an empty Starbucks in my life. I think this place must be packed during the week because of its proximity to office buildings but on the weekend there is no one there. I got my normal summer drink of iced grande non-fat caramel macchiato which was prepared just like all the other starbucks I have ever been to which is good enough to drink. They have outside seating which is nice. They have free wi-fi which is good and I would probably stop by again if I am ever in irvine again.

Friendly service, and my drink was made well. I met with a friend here and was really pleased with the friendly service, and the fact that my drink made just the way I ordered it, made the overall experience a solid four stars. I went in the late afternoon on a Sunday, and the shop was full and lively...the way a coffeeshop/cafe should be! They have free Internet access so that makes it nice for those of us who like to work on a little business while enjoying our coffee and meeting with friends. I look forward to my next visit!

I have not been to this Starbucks location for over six months and was surprised to see that it had been completely remodeled. The vibe is totally cool with a great outdoor patio. When I entered I was immediately greeted by one of the employees that remembered my name. I was really impressed and that is why I decided to leave a review of this location. Great staff and Jon in particular blew me away by remembering my name after not being in there for so long. Great job Jon!

I like to call this "my starbucks" because it's my go-to spot to study. It's the closest Starbucks I can go to from UCI, but it's far enough to dodge the pretentious college students who sit for hours a time talking about the drama that happened last night. Also, I don't get those weird characters who want to chit-chat about the difference between Chinese & Koreans, when I'm clearly studying for my midterms/finals. Occasionally I'll get some middle aged Caucasian men who joke around with me... but I can tolerate that. This Starbucks is in the midst of law/business offices, so the crowd mostly consists of older Caucasian/Asian adults who just come in for their lunch break. All in all, nice quiet Starbucks where you can actually get a good cup of coffee, and get your things done.
