I enjoyed their new & improved menu tonight for dinner. Now with real panda! j/k. It's fast and tasty grease laden sodium filled bins of pre-cooked Chinese fare. And its YUMMMY, with three M's. P.S.: I sampled the new Angus beef dish and found it to be tender and almost delicious enough to sway me away from my choice entre of chicken mushroom.

    1. Worst customer service. 2. Small portions. 3. Expensive. 4. My 3rd item they spilled and just left it there in the bag. 5. NO TOFU. 6. NO EGGPLANT. 7. NO MUSHROOMS.

Fkkdkdjfnd. Terrible. Don't go through the drive through. Ordered shrimp, got 3 pieces. Ordered teriyaki chicken with sauce on the side, there was barely any chicken and no sauce on the side. My entire order was basically rice and scraps of the entrees. Stupid. Never again

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Just bought a $6.30 BOWL. with only ONE piece of chicken. I don't come to Panda for QUALITY, but at least quantity. I've always bought the bowl with mandarin chicken on campus at UCI. It was around $5 something after taxes. The chicken pieces were always filled to the rim of the bowl. After I questioned the server if this was really just ONE piece of chicken. He stared at me and said "it's one serving." No you dumb fuck One piece of chicken is not one serving. Ugh annoyed. And before all this he left my bowl of rice sitting on the counter for a good 5 minutes. When I kindly said "excuse me.. my rice.." that piece of work had the audacity to say JUST A MINUTE when he was just staring off into space doing absolutely nothing. OMG. I will stop ranting. Heed my advise DO NOT COME HERE.

Food is great but service is horrible. They got my wife's order all wrong forgetting to put her chicken in her bowl. The manager I think his name was Alex had no support from his crew. One of his cashiers was even picking up on a customer and managed to get her number while standing behind the register. Lack of leadership I think. Next time if any I'll just use the drive thru to not witness this nonsense.

The food is standard for fast good. The portions most the time good depends who you get. The staff could learn more skills in customer service.

  • Albert C.

@ my favorite PandEx. The rice looked gross so I told the cashier. She didn't even skip a beat, just threw my plate away and got me a hot steamy new one, sans the rice. Excellent service... Thanks Brenda!

Decided to pick up some lunch here yesterday since I was in the area... It really was not good. The service in the drive through was very friendly... I ordered the three potstickers to go with my meal, and they let me know they take 3 minutes to cook - which was fine with me, by the time I got to the window and I paid they were ready. I ordered orange chicken, black pepper chicken and chow mein. Everything was REALLY dry, the orange chicken really had no sauce, and the chow mein had no flavor. I was really disappointed :(

    (2)
  • Cindy H.

Extremely inconsistent! This time, the orange chicken was WAY too spicy! So far, it seems the best one around is in Ladera Ranch - that one is always prepared perfectly. Not too spicy, not too dry...perfect! As for this location? UGH! I'll be perusing the local vending machine to see what I can have for lunch, now =/

I get this for lunch 1-2 a week. Today my order was missing an egg roll, no fork, not napkin. Looked like they shook the box because rice was every where. Food is terrible 75% off the time. You never know if they are going to give you a bowl or plate. I guess it just depends on what mood their in......... If I had more time on lunch I would definitely stay away.

I hate that Panda Express claims to serve gourmet Chinese food. That aside, I am reviewing this franchise on a much lower standard scale. You know, for the obviously not good quality food. The food is not terrible. It is better than Pei Wei, which I think ranks the lowest of lows on American-butchered Chinese food. The fried rice and chow mein are terrible and not even palatable. I've learned to just get steamed rice and veggies instead and that has made eating at Panda so much more bearable. The kung pao chicken and teriyaki chicken are my go-to entrees. I'll admit they are kind of tasty even though it's not authentic. So, I think it's decent when it comes to fast food. However, this location loses a star for cleanliness. I have seen the workers here on occasion (almost every time I've come here) drop something on the counter, and toss it back in with the food. The counter is occasionally wiped off with a wet rag (who knows if it is clean), and they'll swipe the crumbs back into the food. This really grosses me out since I always toss any piece of food I drop on the table. The 3 second rule does not fly with me.

  • Damon L.

C'mon people, it's Panda! It's not authentic Chinese food. It's also Irvine. Chinese food is hard to come by in Irvine and when i need a quick fix, this is where i go. It's fast, convenient, and tasty for fake Chinese food. I'd much rather come here than go to those mom and pop Chinese fast food joints where the Beef and Broccoli is from yesterday. The thing about this location is that it's REALLY BUSY. That tells you the food doesn't sit out too long before they have to make a new batch. If you want real Chinese food, don't come here. I could also say the same about wanting real Mexican food, don't go to Taco Bell.

  • Yen Y.

Most rude Panda Express I've been to. That guy named Juan in particular. Totally screwed up my order nd they put the egg rolls inside the container so it was mushy instead of crunchy. The. worst Panda Express!!!

    (1)
  • Maria H.

This is by far the crappiest Panda Express ever. It stinks, the tables are sticky, and you don't want to touch anything. And for the same reason I like McDonald's fries the most compare to all other places on the planet, I like Panda express' Chow Mein noodles. Judge me and say whatever, but even in my several trips to China, I wasn't able to find same Chow Mein noodles. It's certain level of grossness satisfies my taste buds. ahem. I don't care much about the entrees, but my favorites are Broccoli beef and Mushroom chicken. The new Angus beef is also very tender. It'll also be nice if they learn how to make eggplants.. YUCK! And one star is for their drive thru and nice (but mostly slow & inefficient) staff. I don't know how many other Panda Expresses in OC offer drive thru, but if for whatever reason I crave PE, I'll drive in. There are lots of parking spots and a fairly OK outside sitting area.

coolness is having courage courage to do what's right try to remember always just to have a good time -- Panda Bear, Comfy in Nautica Forgive me Father for I have sinned. In spite of the plethora of authentic Asian restaurants in Orange County, and to the probable horror of my Asian Food Mentor Hannah, I visited my local Panda Express to redeem a free entree coupon along with dozens of other, mostly male, cheapskates with bad taste. And we were all there, for yep, cheap steak! Free Angus Shanghai Beef Steak to be exact. The steak itself was actually very good; moist and tender with a peppery spice. The asparagus was awful though...chewy and mealy. My other entree, black pepper chicken, i usually the one item I order here (when my son wants to come for Orange Chicken) because it has a nice pepper flavor and is relatively healthy. Today it was just a greasy oily mess. Sides of chow mein and vegetables were only noticeable for their faint resemblance to chow mein and vegetables. Drink is at least refillable but no fortune cookie today! Probably because, by visiting, my fortune was already bad. At least the tax day special at Nothing Bundt Cakes, a free bundt cake with purchase, was much better. Mmmmmmm....cake :) Service was frantic. Panda Express is easily the worst of the local BIg Chinese Chains (Pei Wei and Pick Up Stix the others) and this is easily the worst of the Panda Express locations. I promise never to sin here again.

  • Jill M.

Should have gone to pei wei... - Golden treasure shrimp: good idea, poor execution. While the flavor was good, the texture was gross. Totally mushy batter. - Eggplant tofu: somebody needs to learn how to handle the eggplant. It's a soft veggie and they completely obliterated it. Also, tofu was overcooked--pretty tough. - Flavorless fried rice Great service, but wasn't happy with the food. Said, I wouldn't come back here, but was craving Chinese and is was close by. Buyers remorse.

  • Tammi T.

Look, it is what it is - americanized chinese food. I walk into Panda Express with my eyes open and don't expect any authentic Chinese fare from it. I'll have to say among the americanized chinese food places, I have the most respect for Panda Express coz it's basically good food, inexpensive given there's variety and they maintain more or less the same standard in every store. And about the msg...really..I think a lot of us secretly love msg.

  • Patrick J.

Well I haven't put in a review in over a year so here goes... I've been cutting back on food. Yeah. Big surprise there. I've restricted my meals to smaller and smaller portions and so far I've been doing much better. But on to this review. I've come back to this particular location several times in the past two months. I've only ordered one thing, and it is their new sirloin steak-something. I forget. But it's sooo good. I don't finish all the rice to cut back on carbs, but I chow down on the beef. The fact they open early is a bonus for me. I don't eat breakfast so its a nice brunch.

  • Christopher C.

Typical Panda Express but with a drive thru, they ran out of mushroom chicken so they made more which is nice because we were getting it fresh instead of getting food that's been sitting all day. The only part where they failed was they made it and put it on display but after that they walked away and forgot about us we had to get their attention to complete our order while they were just talking

    (3)
  • Jose A.

Typical Panda Express, the Orange Chicken is habit forming and everything else is just ok. If your craving Panda this location is clean with high employee turn over so I really can't speak of the service since it's a crap shoot.

    (3)
  • David R.

To keep it short and simple. Panda Express is a model of consistency. The food is always fresh. The food is always good. The portions, for me, are always just right.

    (5)
  • Alina M.

Pretty awful and, basically, the last resort when you need to grab lunch on the go. The line is incredibly long, they mess up your order and the food is pretty much the worst quality you can get. The BBQ pork I got reminded me of old dishwashing sponges left overnight in a roasting pan you're planning to clean tomorrow. Same texture, same flavor. You'll never catch me here again.

  • Nancy T.

A decent Panda with the usual sides. Kind of located in a remote area, but there's tons of parking, plus a drive-thru. The orange chicken is really good, although it's super sweet and smothered in sauce...but it's delicious if you are willing to compromise health for taste. I also really love their chicken egg rolls! It's definitely not "authentic" Chinese food, but it will do when you're pinched for time. Don't forget to ask for some fortune cookies and sauces if you're getting your food to go!

Welcome to Panda Distress. My guy and I had a very hectic day and had about 30 minutes to spare to scarf down some fast food before an appt we had to be at. Here's how those 30 minutes went by: 6:45 - Pull in to Panda parking lot. 6:46 - Find ourselves at the end of a 3 people long queue. (not so bad right?) Except no one is getting helped. This Panda happens to have a drive-thru and those are the only orders being assisted. 6:50 - Employee helps guy at the front of the line. They discuss what seems to be War & Peace. Are you kidding me?! 6:55 - War & Peace guy has 6 orders going, but other employees are not helping the line. 6:57 - Supervisor assists next party. They ask about a coupon. Supervisor shakes her head. They argue with her. 6:58 - I wave at Supervisor. Says she'll be right with us. 7:00 - Supervisor asks what we want. We tell her. She starts scooping our rice / noodles. Argumentative guy is still trying to get free food with photocopied unreasonable coupon at cashier area. Epic Fail. Supervisor walks away from us and goes to talk to coupon-man. 7:03 - War & Peace guy is still standing in the middle of the line also hoping that someone.. anyone... will finish his order. 7:05 - I tell the Supervisor that they are unreasonably inefficient (see other 3 employees in the back not doing anything at all.) She just stares at us blankly. We leave. They say bad things always happen in 3's. I'm really not wanting another one-star experience. :(

I had an enjoyable experience here but after an hour I had bad stomach pains and im not sure if it was the food or myself but good food.

  • Ryan S.

I've been here numerous times and each time the service has been about what you expect from a Panda Express. This last time I ordered my usual (orange chicken) and it was VERY spicy. Enough to where you needed a drink after every bite. We told the manager and they ended up replacing it, hence the four stars.

I always knew Irvine has some of the busiest lunch rushes around, but not until I saw a 20 car line and a 20 person line at this location did I fully understand everything. They have a dozen people serving food and half had headsets working the drive thru and all 3 woks rolling out re-ups. The line was about a 10 minute ordeal inside and a 15 or so drive thru. I watch in amazement to see people disregard the lines and pile behind. This is why I take a late lunch, and when is say late I'm talking 2-3 when I can get in and out in 5 minutes or less. And then there is the traffic, this lot was ok, but it's going to go to hell with the new Walmart opening. The service is fast, not in a rude way, but more conscious of the contraints of the rush hour. Don't come newbie style because you'll miss everything the cashier's say to you. Like with almost all Panda's the quality to pretty regulated, but if you want a NYC experience come here at 12-1230, if not then come later, preferably after 130. I found the food good and the portions to be excellent for both the 2 and 3 items. The Chow Mein here has more veggies than most locations.

  • Yvonne D.

I've been to this location many times since they've always been generous with their portion amount ;-) but this past trip causes them to go on the bad list. I don't know which of the items I ate caused me to wake up at 2:30am stick to my stomach -- could have been the chowmein, bbq pork, mandarin chicken (no sauce) or beef and broccoli. I am inclined to blame the beef and broccoli because I decide to forgo the awesomeness that is Orange Chicken for this "healthy" alternative. Needless to say, I will not be back at this location for a long long long time.

  • Allyson M.

I have only been here once - and it was in the drive-thru. That automatically boosts my 3-star up to 4-stars because, well, I'm fat. I mean, shoot, it's kinda living up to it's name, right? You think Express, you think drive-thru! The portions they gave me were huge. Yeah, they know what kind of peeps come through to the window. Mm mm! The food is super bad for you, which just makes it tastes even better. Sure, there's no MSG, but there's plenty of artery-clogging yumminess that takes its place. I highly recommend this location if you're in Irvine/Tustin, love what's bad for you and don't wanna get out of the car!

One of best Panda Express branches. Clean place and fresh food. Been here couple of times and quality was great everytime.

  • Ron S.

It's decent fast-food, but there are way better out there. Pretty much your Chinese equivalent to Mcdonalds.

    (3)
  • Harrison K.

Ew... people were saying something about consistency? Predictable? I went in for these reasons and got: chewy dried out bbq pork, orange chicken. Fried rice... was like it was sitting for 8 hours and they still served it. Like Ramsay says, "Where are the standards!?" + I didn't see 1 Chinese dude in sight. Every other Panda I've been to, I've at least seen one Chinese/Asian person in the kitchen... EEK!

    (1)
  • Katherine O.

The Panda Express noodles make me happy (i'm obsessed with thin noodles). As does their tofu eggplant. I used to unhappily work around here, and this Panda was always there for me with their comfort food to cheer me up and let me cry into their noodles. As other yelpers have said, it is a chain, but a chain that knows what works and does it best.

    (5)
  • Clayton J.

Great food great service and I don't get a stomach ache that's why I go there all the time

    (4)
  • Black X.

Yeah. Fucking Five Stars from me. You know why? Because I am judging it for what it is--a fast food chain specializing in getting you hot, predictable food in a reasonable time, at a low price. This location excels at this principle you snobby fuckers. Walked in. Wonderful Black Woman was ultra kind and served up my two- item combo of Kung Pao Chicken and Orange Chicken within seconds. Of course I get half noodles/rice.......BAM! Done. Rang up with a smile. Food served fresh, hot--and delicious. Remember assholes--I judge restaurants for what their thesis sentence is--and this one was met to the max. If you want to question their "authenticity" then listen up. They ARE 100% authentic. 100% authentic PANDA EXPRESS--all they claim to be.

    (5)
  • Linda L.

bad customer service ever... I hate going to into a place that I can't communicate with the people that works there. I don't eat at panda express... to me, it's just not good chinese food at all... to top it off they are so over price. I will never go to another panda express ever again. Was in the area for a wedding... had to feed 10 people. Being asian we needed to get rice.

    (1)
  • Stephanie S.

No one should ever eat here. Panda Express is the LCD of "Chinese" food. A friend of mine used to work at Panda, and told me that the sauces that go on their food has MSG. Panda has stickers all over the restaurant that say their food contains no MSG, which is some kind of loophole because the sauces they put on all the food definitely have MSG. Even before my friend gave me the inside scoop, I could tell it had MSG because I always feel sick eating even a few bites of orange chicken or broccoli beef. Yucky!

This place has done me wrong more than once!! I've had two rice nightmares at this place. The first time, I ordered my combo with eggplant tofu, noodles, and rice during a late night chinese food run with the ex. Got to his place and realized they had given me fried rice! If I wasn't a bipolar vegetarian who contemplates eating eggs (and milk) I would have been extra infuriated. I no longer eat eggs at all, so I didn't actually eat the rice that time, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The second time I ordered the same but they said they didn't have rice and whether I wanted to wait (I was in the drive-thru) and I said yessss. So I realized I had been waiting for a while so I told the dude I'd just go around again so he could help the dude behind me. So I did a turn around and when my turn came around again I got my food and drove happily to my work. Only to find out that my rice was WAY undercooked. I couldn't even eat it man... The rice completes the chinese food experience... I've never been back to this place since, but I still love panda express.

This is the first time I went to a Panda Express drive thru. When I asked for hot sauce and soy sauce, they gave me two packets each. I ordered food for two people, so the packets weren't enough for both individuals. Aside from that the food was pretty good. They give little fried rice/chow mein if you order that. Make sure to ask for utensils or chopsticks when you go through the drive thru.

    (3)
  • Zac B.

"Why is he reviewing a chain? blah blah blah." Shut up. There's nothing but chains in Irvine. This panda is good, better than the rest. Unlike other reviewers, I've experienced consistently good, fresh food here. Just don't try their hot sauce, they don't give it to you when you order your food for a reason: it tastes like ass.

I love this place ...tasty food, good portions, drive-thru convenience, and I like the gal at the window ..she is really nice.

  • H H.

I know I'm not supposed to like this place. It's fast food, really bad for you, it's not real chinese food, etc... but I love it anyway. I've liked everything I've tried. Sometimes the orange chicken will have less chicken and sometimes the beef is a little chewy or grisly, but overall it's a great place for a cheap dinner. I love the drive thru, too. They'll let you sample stuff there if you ask. I tend to order the same things over and over, but the last time I did notice you could get veggies instead of rice or chow mein for your side. that's a nice change and makes me feel less guilty about the orange chicken.

This panda location is hit and miss. I usually go here around late afternoon so as to miss the "lunch crowd" and the "early birds". Usually the employees are nice, except for a couple. Some days they will load up your plate, and others they'll skimp. Some days it's over cooked, and some days it's under cooked. But the days when it's cooked perfectly are like heaven in kid's meal box. I usually order the kids meal with chow mien and mushroom chicken... perfect portion for me, considering I eat like a bird. As I mentioned before, the employees are pretty hot and cold, although, beware of one girl (you'll know who she is the second you see her) I wish I knew her name.. I only remember it consists of 3 letters- you won't be able to crack a smile out of her. In fact, she acts as though if she was to smile her face would break or something. I've noticed the nicer I am to her, the pissier she gets.. haha, like my mom always said "kill 'em with kindness". Other than that, I'd give this location a 3 only because they aren't very consistent.

OMG, Panda express is like crack! I know I know, reviewing a chain, sacrilege blah blah blah. I don't care, this one is by far the best Panda I've ever been to, and that's saying a lot. In the last week I've come to lunch three times just challenging them to make me a bad orange chicken (over cooked/fried/chewy), but they just won't do it! They deserve this review. It's all but brand new and so far it's been amazingly good. It's big inside, they have outside seating, it's always been very clean, the staff is fast, and I've never had a bottom of the pan moment. Nice work super wonderful Panda manager man. I had a two item today - double orange chicken.. I can actually hear myself getting fatter.

This place really blows! (Horrible!), I noticed that this place hasn't been reviewed in a while so that is why I am writing this update. I was there today around 5 PM , order about $30.00 dollars worth of food and drinks for me, wife and neighbor / friends to come over to watch a movie. Got home, served it out and amazingly we all said at the same time after our frist bite "This Taste Like Crap" Yuk! What has happen to Panda Express?? Especically this place WOW , food tasted lousy, old (Like its been the holding / cook tray the hold day) rubber, tasteless and then then the last knife in the back (for food and service) was all the drink orders were wrong! My advise , avoid this place at all cost, go so where else, save your money. Another thing, their portions & plate foam container have shrunk and you get less portions, while still charge the same price of old bigger portions. Hope this helps

oh dear sweet yelpers! yes, its panda express. it never lets you down. no matter where you are, the draw of orange chicken and broccoli beef is ever constant. so whats so special about this particular panda express? the freaking drive thru. a drive thru panda express!! the line is always going to be rediculous, at leat now i dont have to get out of my car :)

  • Jessie L.

My favorite Panda. Least amount of dumb employees. Has drive through and easy parking. Almost never a line and usually have what I want. They are always cool about making a new batch, just takes 5-15 minutes. They have yet to not offer a sample or ask if you want a drink. Only issue is not giving Sweet sauce with the cream cheese wontons. I'm not always a creature of habit, but here it's creepy ritualistic. My counterpart and I get the 3 item combo with white rice, Beijing beef, orange chicken and random 3rd item. Sweet fire is awesome! Counterpart loves kung-pao, but I don't like the way tell chicken is cooked. Don't throw away your receipt. You can fill out a survey and you get a free item with a combo. So our third item is always free! Awesome!

From the rude server that took my order, to the even more rude manager who works on Sunday. This in my opinion is the worst service at a Panda Express ever. It's my turn to order and the server asks "what do you want?" Now I understand that this is a young kid but they should teach him how to speak to customers or manners. I gave my order which was the Family Feast 3 orders of Fire Chicken and 2 sides of chow mein. I request no pineapple and no red peppers. The manager rudely says thats the way it comes. I order the same thing every time in Tustin and Santa Ana. They have no problem doing this. I ignore the rudeness. I waited 10 minutes. The manager comes up to me and says "sorry, we have no sauce for the Fire Chicken. Everyone, eat here at your own risk

This is the best panda location in all of irvine. The staff is extremely friendly!! Always willing to make more when a dish looks old. They have better hours than the other locations I've been which always close before their posted closing time. The food also tastes way better here. If you want panda only come to this one. Shout out to whoever works there you guys are the friendliest fast food workers I've seen keep up the good work

  • Charlie J.

As if it wasn't bad enough it gets worse now they change the funky menu that seems like the only got 3 items now besides the overpriced shit when you first come in there the service is not that great they were serving the window more than they were serving the customers that was inside so I give this a two thumbs down and I will never eat lunch here again plus the portions are small as hell I try to Philadelphia with the rice on the bowl and sprinkle a couple of pieces of meat on top

    (1)

Stingiest Panda Express location ever. Got beef and broccoli with half and half fried rice and chow mein and I only got 3 pieces of beef. Pretty ridiculous. One star for the drive thru but I won't be coming back here.

Haven't had Panda in several years...probably 8yrs and this week's visit reconfirmed why I don't mess with them. I've driven past this location many times without giving it a 2nd thought but had a change of heart. I call myself doing the right thing by ordering a black pepper chicken bowl with brown rice...$7 later I open my bowl only to find 85% brown rice, 10% green beans/onion/celery and 5% chicken. The chicken was so little I had to dig for it with my fork and it appeared to be more skin and glaze on the tiny pieces of chicken than actual meat. NEVER AGAIN.

  • Kevin G.

I haven't gone to this place in a few years now but they have apparently redone their menu a bit and all that in that time, so I decided to give it a shot. The food was alright, about what you'd expect (I ordered a broccoli beef bowl) however there was a piece of plastic in my food, like the part of a packet that you tear off to open it up. So, not sure what to say about that. Not a big deal as I didn't eat it, luckily, but...don't think I'll be going back.

We ordered lunch from here today - I got a veggie bowl. I wanted the Eggplant Tofu entree, but was told that it was no longer carried in this location (FYI - if you are vegetarian and you come here, you are basically stuck with steamed veggies as an entree because the Eggplant Tofu was the only vegetarian entree with protein that was on the menu). I was also told that they don't have chopsticks.... So I ended up with a veggie bowl - steamed brown rice and steamed vegetables. See the picture that I submitted - I like brown rice (I eat it nearly every day...) that being said I DON'T like 1-1/2 cups of it with about four pieces of broccoli, 1/2 of a sliced carrot, four or five slices of zucchini, and some green beans on top (Although, I should give props here - the veggies weren't oversteamed and mushy which was nice....for those veggies that were in my bowl, they were pleasant to eat). THIS IS MY LUNCH - if I just wanted mostly steamed rice, I would have brought it from home instead of paying $6+ for it somewhere else. I was disappointed that my bowl ended up looking like this.... it made me feel hungry before I even started eating.... good thing I brought a yogurt with me from home - I am going to need it to fortify myself!! I guess that this also means that the nutrition calculator associated with this dish is wrong - I think it takes into account at least equal amounts of rice and veggies. Get with it, please, Panda Express. This is unacceptable. Overall: Will probably not be back to this location (unless I call ahead of time to find out if they are carrying tofu again....)

I often come there to eat if I forgot to bring my lunch to work. Most of the employees are somewhat nice and very hard working. The problem is that they put too much sauce on top which causes it to spill all over in my bag almost every time. Another advice for them is that they need to add some utensils and napkins in the bag.

I've been here twice and both times the chow mein was slightly burnt. The sweetfire chicken was good and so was the walnut shrimp, but the burnt chow mein just ruined the meals.

So I read some reviews that were negative and I had second thoughts of going in to get food for my kid, he wanted panda so bad but we went anyways and the service was great very friendly if I'm back in this area again I will not hesitate to come in....

Good was good , but Jacob was very rude! I asked to try something and he tells me ... Well do u know want now??? Other then what your going to try!?? I want to try the sweet fire chicken! Then he handles it to me all rude! I loved and order it , but no customer service!!

This is one of the best branch for Panda Express around for lunch or dinner. Always fill with entrees ready and great service. Their foods tastes fresh and the place always looks clean.

People do work very hard there and the service was quick. However, every single visit, I always experience a problem. Like one guy put sauce on the side but doesn't secure the lid completely and it spilled all over my food in the to go bag. They don't even put utensils and napkins inside the bag either. (All the time) today, I got a bowl of fried rice and teriyaki chicken. However, I got a massive load of rice but got like about 10 pieces of chicken.... Seriously???

Panda Express rules. Don't believe the haters. NOTHING will bring you back from the brink of starvation like the trademark two-item combo. Can't believe they still only charge $7 for what is essentially a meal for kings. Their kung pow chicken helped me get through life during the toughest of times. All the calories I've consumed from the savory, fiery god-sauce could probably power a small city. Kung pwned. Joslyn and Kassandra: Every time I see you two working, I know good stuff's about to come my way. Super generous portions. Really friendly service. Way to lead by example. These ladies should become the face of Panda Enterprises (or whatever the parent company is called). This is one of the newer standalone restaurants with a drive through and clean open kitchen layout. Most serving trays are kept at least 3/4 full. There's constant turnover, so the food always looks fresh. None of that "shriveled string beans after an hour under the heat lamp" nonsense. As Homer Simpson once said, "It's finger Ling-Ling good!"

Check your order before leaving...fast bad service will be found here. We ordered three combo plates which were displayed correctly on the drive-thru order screen. Order taker asked if food was ready and some guy worker yelling it was. Our food was handed over in record time. Drove home 15 minutes away only to find out one order was completely missing the 2 entrees and the other combo had mixed vegetable for entree instead of mushroom chicken. Called to let them know they need to check their orders before handing if over to customer. Larry said to write his name down on the receipt and we could come back later in week and get it. We told him we didn't get a receipt but will be sure to rate their service on Yelp. His reply was, "You do that." With attitude and service like this, repeat customers will be hard to find just like the missing entrees we paid for and didn't get.

Went to the drive thru and ordered a one-item bowl, with the side 1/2 chow mein 1/2 fried rice. Got home and started eating, they gave me all white rice. Annoying because in the bowls you can't really check/ the chicken is all on top covering. I called them to let them know, and whoever answered the phone hung up on me. Talk about customer service? Not the best haha the food is good, regular greasy panda status. But beware- always check the order!

Nice, clean, new, updated Panda layout. They have a recycling bin for bottles and cans, their napkins are made of recycled paper, that's great trend for a fast food restaurant. Food is good, nothing special but adding the good service makes a difference.

Not even close to closing and they only had TWO entrees available... honey walnut shrimp and mushroom chicken... And the lady in the drive thru had a terrible attitude. Too lazy to make a small amount of food an hour before closing, and they claimed they had been out for a while. Best part is I called before-hand to ask what time they closed and they did not mention that only had two out of there many entrees available. Made a far drive as the Pandas by my house all close early and was very disappointed!

Went to Panda Express in irvine, paid for a panda bowl & got literally FIVE pieces of chicken. Asked for cream cheese Rangoon, they didn't have any. I went back the next morning, they were still out. I go back a week later, they forgot to put it in my bag! There is always something they do wrong at this panda. I love Panda Express, but this is one of the worst ones to go to

Bomb Honey Walnut Shrimp & Chow Mein Bowl..... yum yum I want some more. I'm in love with their honey walnut shrimp

I am a fan of their Orange Chicken so to have a drive thru by my work is awesome. You either love Panda Express or not but for me to have that Orange Chicken craving, this is a plus. I like just ordering the chicken only for about $3.00 and munch on out of their tiny little take out container. Perfect "take" to the expression...Chinese food to go!

2 stars for the rice and chaw main but the orange is not good at this location. Don't know why? I got a headache.other locations make way better Orange Chicken

Came here tonight and they didn't have everything I wanted but they told me to wait and made me everything that I wanted to each which was really nice of them. They gave me a good amount of food. The Asian man that rang me up was sooo sweet and made my friends and I feel very welcome even though we came a bit late at night and they were almost out of everything. More places need workers like that man!! Food was good and they gave me a good portion and extra fortune cookies. Will be returning! That Asian man is awesome!!!

This Panda Express is very stingy on food. I always order a 1-item plate because 2+ items is too much food and they always give me less if you where to order a larger combo. I expect the item to be the same size or slightly less. The manager said it is considered a bowl but c'mon just one beef piece with broccoli beef. I rather go to a walk in cash only place that fills your plate for a lot less money.

Food is pretty decent. I haven't been to Panda Express in a very long time and the walnut shrimp isn't like what it used to be. I think it's literally "Honey coated" with walnut and shrimp. It doesn't have much flavor to it. The decor is nice and everything is kept organized and tidy. Staff is friendly and well mannered.

Everything is great...except whenever you walk in 15 employees scream out WELCOME in the most insincere, fake, cheesy manner..

Horrible food and quality. Even worst than other Pandas which are bad too! Just out of nostalgia of college I ate at this place; they have stopped serving eggplant tofu item and the honey sesame item barely has any meat in it! All and all, just terrible. This will be the last time I eat at Panda. Pay a few bucks more and eat at PF Changs people...

Don't even bother. Not only do they have the worst customer service but parking un their lot is atrocious.

This Panda Express has a drive thru. What??? Suh weet!! It seems like there is more variety here as well. Friendly staff that seems willing to serve you. Customer service is important to me and this location definitely lives up to that. Only gave y'all a 4 star because I want to see some consistency (since I've only been to this location once). I might try the drive thru and if that lives up to expectations, one star increase. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, because chinese food is chinese food.

The nicest Panda Express I've been to...love the covered patio area AND Drive-Thru!!! The drive-thru can get long though during lunch hour & around 6pm. We walked in to get our food & there was no line & we knew what we wanted so we paid & were out the door headed to the patio seating in under 4 minutes...and I don't think the drive-thru line had moved. Very quick & efficient staff. Clean inside but some of the tables outside weren't clean...they should come out more often to clean the patio tables. We did find a couple that were clean...the ones that were dirty weren't too bad & I'm sure they can't come out every 10 minutes...so I won't take off any stars for that...unless the next time I go I come across the same thing. Yes I'll be back...this will be my Panda location of choice...even though there is one closer to me.

The service was good. Its the only fast china chain n the area by my work so i gave it a try, Panda express is like the McDonald's of chinese food which means its the same everywhere you go and it fills you up and its cheap. but the chow main was stringy and i like it chewy like noodles r supposed to be. I ordered the kung pao chicken it was ok the veggies where good in it but not the chicken. The eggs rolls were nasty which was really disappointing! The cabbage in the egg rolls had a nasty taste to it. It also gave me heart burn which i never get! Disappointed and wont return.

This is a pretty good quick meal. I enjoy the angus beef. It's tender not chewy. I usually order the steamed white rice and it is never a disappointment. The restaurant is kept clean and the staff is friendly.

I'm done with this place. It's very close to my home so I keep going, and keep getting disappointed. You will notice it always takes a VERY long time to get your food, no matter how busy it is. Try watching what they're doing behind the counter, the slowness and inefficiency of it all -- it's enough to drive you mad. Then, tonight I needed something to eat around 10pm. Not a lot of options. I checked the PE website carefully, open until 10:30....jumped in the car......CLOSED. Annoyed, and will not be coming back.

We have been here a few times and service is always horrible. Today, we came in to order dinner. We were the only second family standing in line. When the guy finished helping the customer in front of us, he went away. Not one single person acknowledged us. My husband had to ask if any of them could help us. The person who took our order was rude and rushing through taking the order. And he , of course, wrote down the wrong order. We will never come back again!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whoever the manager at this location is, you should teach your staff some customer services or you will have no customer.

The food was so-so it seemed to be left out for a while if you come at 1 PM, but even though they made me wait for one of the dishes that I wanted, when I complained about it manager or cashier lady gave me extra chicken and combined two smaller sides to make up for my waiting time which I thought was very professional and makes me want to give her just based on services alone--- a five star for her. If she did not make up for the time that I lost for waiting, which was slightly over seven minutes this place would have only received a two star because the food was too greasy. This panda express should take note of how courteous their employee acted and give her a bonus!

Place is clean and bright. Lots of seating available, at least when we went here around 2pm. They also seem to have a bigger selection than your food court Panda Express. Restroom was also clean and lots of parking in front.

The worst Panda restaurant I've been to by far! Here, they will give you more rice than chow mein when you ask for half/half. They will give you small proportions. And if you go through drive thru....GOOD LUCK!!! You're looking at slow service up until you get to the window and there, that's where they'll rush you! 95% of the time, you will be with no sauce, no fortune cookie, and no satisfaction! And this review ain't based on 1 terrible incident but multiple occasions where I'd go drive thru (in a parade of cars) and ask for sauce and they would tell me it's in the bag (rude like) and I'll get home ready to eat after a long day of work and no sauce will be in the bag or worse, an item I ordered! The last visit, and I mean last! I called and asked to speak to the manager and was asked (questioning) who I was??! Don't worry about it. So I spoke with the manager, told him I was up set eating dry chicken with no sauce (after I asked for it) was missing an item (sesame chicken), and had little to no chow mien! He told me to come back thru (drive thru) I THINK NOT!!!and he would comp me a free meal. So I did just that but went inside (not going to go drive thru!) and when I asked for him, he asked to see my receipt (which he told me on the phone I didn't need it) and told me ok well what did you want then? A meal? I told him that's what he told me. So he said sure, and apologized to me and with that, his whole staff was staring at me with mean or smirky looks (made me feel uncomfortable) so this is my review and last of going to this place again!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
