Ah, first class pizza! It's not only close to home, but it's also the bomb-diggity! The crust is what sets this pizza apart; thick with a nice crisp crust and fluffy middle. Toppings are generous with perfectly browned cheese. A large pizza was major overkill for only 2 people, but it fed us for days. Dieters, stay away! You won't be able to just eat 1 slice. Pretty hilarious that this is right next to a gym.

Mix and match everything! It's like a dream come true for a person who loves to sample things. I'm a big fan of variety...and I got it at First Class Pizza. You can do up to 4 different pizzas on your pie, and order a beer flight of any 4 of the beers they have on tap ($9). I will say that I didn't love their crust, but I was still a pretty happy customer. Permission to nitpick? I don't like that they dice their tomatoes. Something about it feels wrong on pizza.

Great place, and I absolutely love their pizza, but they are WAY too overpriced. That'll cost you a point, sir. I bought ONE medium pizza for $16 and some change. Never again until I get a coupon deal or something. For that kind of money, order Papa John's, use their app, and get a large for $12, and you won't be disappointed. Otherwise, the place is well kept, the pizza is delicious, and they have good breadsticks among other things. You better be prepared to dig into your wallet though.

I do not understand how this place has a 4 star rating. If anything the pizza quality is average if not below average. The business is run by teenagers who do not put a lot of care into making you're pizza, it seems as if they just slap it together and throw it in the oven.... Been here 3 times, each time hoping for a better experience but I haven't had one. I recommend Rubinos down sand canyon, much better pizza!

Was excited for the 2015 NFL draft today and ordered from our neighborhood pizza place in Woodburry. Just like our sad 49er season last year...so much promise but failed miserably! The pizza was burnt!!!! NOOOO! They of course made up for it and delivered a new pie, but by that time the draft was reaching the end of 1st round! All was good though...NINER NATION this is our year!!!!!

Lemon pepper wings so good! They give you dipping sauce so you don't have to ask for any. Fries are super good. Pizza was okay. Too much cheese and not enough bread. If you like alot of cheese and less bread then perfect :) We got a pizza with grilled chicken, chicken was perfectly prepared. So sad that I live far from this location, I'd go all the time!

I've been coming here for 8 years, if you compare this to any other pizza except maybe BJs. The beer selection though is off the hook! You may often find beers you won't find anywhere else. And many TVs for whatever you want to watch.

We would have pizza at least once a week since our daughter now learns to say "pizza". We used to get take out but couple of weeks ago, we decided to just come here for dinner so that my daughter can go play around the fountain area after dinner. For some odd reasons, the pizza was very good and probably because it's fresh out of the oven. We've also tried their Italian subs and meatball subs. All very good! They are extremely generous with the toppings. Last night, we decided to try its Cinna-za basically it's like Cinnamon on pizza dough and it's delicious! We ordered the plain and the smell of freshly baked cinna-za is incredible! It's dangerous to people who are on diet because it's just so good! Definitely give it a try if you have a NFL/NBA fantasy draft and here for the pizza. A very nice way to finish a great night with savory dessert!

This is our go-to pizza place when we want an excellent pizza. We usually get our order to go, but the restaurant is a nice, cool place to stop, get a slice and a beer, and relax. Their garden salad is good and huge -- it can easily serve 3 people. Good croutons, too!

  • Catherine L.

Definitely my go-to place when I just want a casual night in and some pizza. Their garlic breadsticks are always a win, you can't go wrong!

This place has decent pizza, but they are definitely not worth the price. Service is friendly, but service is also quite slow. For a pepperoni pizza, they said it would take around 30-45 minutes. What!? Luckily we only waited around 20-25 minutes. I don't think I would come back here again though, because I just make my pizza at home now. They deliver as well.

Good selection of pizza choices and option to split pizza toppings in half as well. The salads aren't very good. Kick'n chicken was pretty good Zesty italian good Hawaiian style is good Good beer selection and sodas

I moved down here from the Bay Area and must say that the first time I tried this pizza, it was great! I got the "Porker" and they were very generous with their proportions. Much better than the Bay Area. Ordered online and the pizza was ready to go for pick up. Will try other options, but in the meantime, "Thumbs Up!"

Amazing establishment pizza was ready as soon as we arrived! Staff was very nice and store was super clean. Would recommend

Pizza tastes great, just a bit on the pricy side -- but I guess that's the price you pay living in Irvine lol.

What it is: "loaded" pizza, i.e., "traditional" American pizzeria style pizza -- with some fun topping twists if you want them. What it's not: artisanal/brick oven/Neapolitan. Some people may interpret that as pejorative or criticism, but it's not. Rather, I want people to understand what they're getting, and if you're down with some good ol' fashioned piled-high pizza (with some very decadent choices to boot), then you'll be very happy. It's not cheap or greasy. Even the aforementioned decadent choices (e.g. Western Burger or Buffalo Chicken) are more than just grease-balls. It's quality pizza at the base piled with fun toppings. Oh, and they have a great microbrew beer selection (both bottle and draft).

GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and great pizzas and pastas. BBQ chicken pizza was the best bbq pizza Ive ever had. We dropped our whole pizza on the floor because it slipped from the stand (100% our fault) and they made us a brand new one without hesitation. Definitely two thumbs up! for service AND taste!

This is our go to pizza restaurant. They make the greatest pizza ever. Service is the best and delivery is fast. This is a must try in Irvine.

Their pizza box states "In a class by itself". After enjoying their pizza, I would think so! We ordered a medium pizza and opted to go half Great White and half Spicy Southwestern for the toppings. Great White: grilled chicken breast, alfredo sauce, mushrooms, parmesan, and their very own seasoning. This one was the lightest of taste but still a worthy topping choice, it was like having pasta white sauce on pizza, it was good. Spicy Southwestern: grilled chicken breast, red onions, green peppers, cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, bacon, honey mustard, and seasonings. This was my favorite out of the two choices, it was tastier! but holy sh*t! this one was loaded! I like the sauce on this it's probably the honey mustard? or the garlic being a sauce substance? it was kinda like a Papa Johns garlic sauce put on to the pizza, I really loved this one! Overall the pizza was thick! It's doughy but of course cooked to sink your teeth into. Good thing they allowed us to have two premium choice toppings on to one pie. We also ordered 1lb. of chicken wings ($8.99) in Original Buffalo. They taste baked, and they are even meatier. The buffalo sauce is on the side for dipping, but for me I like to mix the buffalo sauce and blue cheese together to make it even better! Really this was a good side with the already amazing pizza we had. Nice joint to come in and enjoy pizza and beers. They have multiple TV screens to catch sports, and it's spacious, I noticed that their ceilings are high and you won't feel cluster phobic that's for sure.

I'll be asking yourself why am earth would I give a pizza place five stars? If you look at some of my other reviews you might think that eating at a pizza place is way out of character for me. And to some extent that's true, but certainly not the whole story. Good food and drink do not require a white linen tablecloth fancy waiters. The people here are really know their beers. For example, right now I'm downing a Deshutes freshly squeezed. Beer selection is awesome and their prices are very good. And certainly they have pizzas and they're terrific. I get the impression that they really take pride of what they do here. I honestly can't think of a single criticism I would have.

We love the Zesty Italian pizza. But no matter what, Unlike those franchisee pizzerias, you can taste the freshness of each toppings here! Hope they can keep the quality forever :)

  • Bee L.

You Must try the garlic chicken and mushroom pizza! There's pizza; then, there's quality pizza. As soon as you bite into the pizza you can tell that they use quality ingredients. The cheese is full of flavor and they use just the right amount. Seriously, writing this review is making me hungry for it, again. They're a bit pricey, but on those nights you want a quality meal good enough to have with wine, the fact that they deliver really comes in handy. Friendly service as well. Can't wait to order again.

Thick crust, lots of sauce, a gooey layer of cheese, and mounds of toppings... Literally every bite of pizza here has toppings tumbling off the slice. Came here after a co-worker said that this was hers and her husbands favorite pizza place in Irvine - & I can definitely see why. Ordered a side salad (half a house salad that comes with lettuce, olives, grape tomatoes, carrots, feta cheese & croutons with your choice of dressing) which was only ~$2.50.. Made me wonder what a small sized salad was! Came in a normal plate and is perfect for smaller appetites to share. The zesty Italian pizza.... So delicious and hearty!! Ordered a small and this was more than enough for my boyfriend and I. The mushrooms were cut thick, you can see the chunks of garlic, the sausage was mouth watering and falling off each piece and the wax peppers perfect for anyone that likes a kick. There were whole peppers on the pizza! Looking at the other tables, all the pizzas looked like this with tons of toppings. This location also serves beer - a perfect pairing. I will definitely frequent this pizza joint more often. A meal for two was about $20 which in my opinion is decently priced for delicious pizza.

I'm not the biggest fan when it comes to pizza... Until I found this little hidden gem! When my boyfriend asked me what we should have for dinner I couldn't decide so he said we should try this place and I absolutely loved it! Everything from the friendly service to the amazingly tasty pizza and the wings were all a hit! I've yet to try pizza that makes me want to come back a second time in a week! Until I found this place.

Awesome beer selection and wings. Get the thin crust pizza and lemon pepper wings. Thank me later! An awesome find in the Woodbury area.

I don't really understand when I read some of these reviews and people exclaim this is the best pizza they've ever had. They must not get out much. We ordered an XL pizza and it was $27! First of all this is SO expensive. Highway robbery if you ask me. Second, the pizza was nothing to brag about at all. Burnt black edges and soggy underneath - so weird how that happened. Also, who in the world puts a red sauce base on a BBQ chicken pizza? Very disappointed in that. I was born and raised in NY and worked in a pizza parlor for years back home and this place unfortunately just was a disappointment. I was stoked to try it too since the reviews weren't too bad and it is close to my house. Looks like finding ACTUAL good pizza (compared to NY) in California is like finding a fucking unicorn under a rainbow. Giving it 2 stars cause their boneless chicken was pretty decent and their customer service was good. Bunch of high school looking age kids working the counter but they were lively and pleasant. Always a plus to know yo mama is raising you friendly and with manners :)

Pretty much as long as it's pizza NOT from a pizza chain, then it's an automatic 4-5 stars. My pizzas are kinda boring. I just like cheese and sausage and what's really good about the sausage topping is that they're actual big chunks of sausage and not dinky little frozen bits of meat. Service is a little slow, so expect a longggg wait time. That 45 minute wait they quoted you might feel like hours or even DAYS! Once you get it though, you'll be glad you waited. You know what they say, you can't rush perfection. I hate talking about my favorite pizza topping because it always turns into some stupid immature joke about how I like sausage, hahah. I almost didn't write this review because of that exact reason. :p

  • Cynthia Y.

The pizza is so good!! I love to order four different types into one big pizza, and you can tell the toppings are made with good ingredients. The edges were chewy and almost bread like, with really thick cheese on top. I LOVE IT! The zesty Italian and western BBQ is the best IMO. The garlic breadsticks are also amazing!! I personally think the other review was too harsh on the place. I'm also from NYC and believe me, the cheap $1 pizzas are nothing compared to this! Sure, they're cheap, but the toppings are also made with God-knows-where it comes from materials. I also don't like thin crusts, even though they do offer it, so this place definitely put me in my pizza happy place :)

Best pizza ever! I recommend "The Porker". But the other pizzas at the table were tasty as well as the salad. Great drink selection.

This is my favorite go-to pizza places in Irvine!!! For a time, I would make weekly runs for pizza topped with pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, and jalepenos. This is an such an amazing combination!! The best is when you eat there and the pizza comes out piping hot with the cheese all gooey and beautiful!!! The crust is so amazing!! Such a treat when I eat my way to the end of the pizza to savor the crust!!! When I eat at the restaurant, I will usually get the combo pizza and have one of their draft beers. Love the draft beers at this place!! The only downside about this place is that it's always freezing in there!!

  • Sylvia D.

Great pizza! The texture of the dough was excellent. The topping was very flavorful. I really enjoyed it. One thing I didn't like as much was the overpowering garlic taste on one of my pizzas. Worth checking out

For around here, with the close of Z Pizza, a good place to get a Great Pizza is hard to find. So I went venturing out trying to look for a new favorite. It took a while, and had to drive... but the end result was worth it. Place is nice, average seating. beer and wine selection, and you can easily order to go. The pick up times are prompt, The staff is nice and friendly, have already been there three times before finally sitting down to write this review.

Did the 2 medium cheeses for $20 and added toppings! Great deal and love how you can customize it by doing the 1/2 and 1/2 option! Delicious and quick service! Satisfied my craving :)

We had a coupon for a buy 1 get 1 free and so decided to give this place a try. I phoned in for a Zesty Italian thin crust and Buffalo chicken reg crust. After arriving and paying, we were sitting at a table waiting for our togo order when an employee, Jacob, came up to let us know that there was a mix-up and instead of a Thincrust italian they'd made a regular. So to apologize for the delay and mix-up we've remade your pizza and will give you that regular on us. Me "WHOO HOOO!!". Jacob continued with more apologies and asked us if he can get us something to drink, like a beer. BF, feeling bad, "no, no thank you" Jacob "are you sure?" Me "Can you get the man a beer? I'm okay" Bf's is so lucky to have me. Anyway, I just wanted to illustrate the awesome customer service these guys have. I can understand if they made a mix-up, they'll ask if we want the reg instead, and if we insisted on the thin, they'll remake it but keep the messed up order. But this guy gave us 1 medium sized pizza worth $18, on the house and stone beer! Very nod and fist bump worthy. The pizza itself? I loved my zesty italian with wax peppers, mushroom, and sausage, but you have to eat it fresh or else the pizza does get soggy. The buffalo chix was weird. There was a LOT OF sauce, not that I mind the sauce, it was just the bbq sauce and ranch mixture was not my thing. And again, gotta eat it fresh or else it get's soggy. O and Beer talk, they have cheap pitchers of beer as well and it's not the cheap quality beers either. Overall, 4 stars because Jacob is Fist Bump awesome and the pizza is good albeit Pricey. I would not come here very often without coupons.

It is very simple. We will not eat pizza anywhere else.

Pizza was good, with great topping to dough ratio on the spicy southwest chicken pizza I tried. Toppings are finely cut, which is always a plus in my book. Spaghetti and meatballs seemed a little light on sauce. The Mediterranean salad was ok, but is pre-packed and not tossed, if that matters to you.

Great place for family. It is located in Woodbury Shopping Mall in Irvine. Plenty of parking places. Our family goes here on weekdays when our kids want Pizza. Kids like their Hawaiian pizza and we like Vege pizza. They put so much veggies on Veggie pizza. Their pizza are more of thick style with plenty of cheese. Usually one large is enough for our family. They let u do half one style and the other half different style.

Delicious pizza! We always have a hard time deciding which pie to choose. So we get the "sampler" - in which you get to choose 4 different kinds pizza all on one pizza! The cinna-za is also very delicious! We like the original & the apple. In a rut? Try this place out!

Well I've never had something go so wrong and walk away feeling like it went so right. This was that time. BF and I were in the mood for pizza and beer. We always enjoyed First Class Pizza by our home in Tustin but were disappointed because it is only a take out store. We were so pleased to find that this place is huge with plenty of seating. And beer! Funny, while ordering, I overheard the people ahead of me being told that the wait for their pizza would be about 35 minutes. OK, it's Friday. And the place was busy. I can deal with that. So we order a pitcher of some really yummy IPA and find a seat. And wait. And drink. And wait. And drink. And get a little giddy cuz were drinking. And not eating. About one hour goes by and it becomes apparent that the restaurant is clearing out. We never got our pizza! And we are out of beer! So I go upfront to order more and find out what happened. We were told to be seated and they will get us a status on our dinner. Within 2 minutes the girl that took our order walked up to our table and apologized that they lost our pizza order. She explained that they have just prepared a new one and proceeded to insist that they refund our entire dinner! Within minutes our pizza was delivered to the table with yet another apology. We never complained. We didn't need to. The level of service was so professional that it actually made the entire evening a great experience. Oh, and the pizza was great! Thank you all!

The best pizza in Orange County! If you crave pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you're going to love it here. The service, the quality and the care to their guests is unparalleled. And three cheers for some of the best craft beer options in the OC. Also love that they're on IG @fcpwoodbury !

Firstly the pizza is good. Not amazing, not great but good. Service is good. Significantly over priced. Another Irvine business over charging people with more money than sense.

First timer here! We ordered BBQ, kick in' chicken, and combo mini sized pizzas. When we decided to add some wings we noticed it said the order is 1lb of wings. We got MUCH less than expected, 6 wings to be exact. However, the pizzas were tasty and we liked the fluffy crusts.

Great pizza! They have many custom pizzas that are great as well. A bit pricey but well worth it.

The pizza is good but a bit pricy. Good seating for large groups and patio. Will be returning with friends and family.

Not my cup of tea. They put waaaaay too many toppings on the pizza and the toppings are too big/chunky. If you like more topping than pizza, this place is for you.

Ok, we just found our favorite pizza joint in Irvine! Thick, chewy pizza dough, topped with fresh, quality ingredients, and cheese that has longer legs than Heidi Klum? Winner by my books! My family and I love their Cheese Pizza (self-explanatory) and their Zesty Italian Pizza. The Italian comes with generous chunks of Italian sausage, cooked as if they literally just removed the casings from the sausage and browned the filling in a pan, moments prior to topping the meat onto our pizza! It also comes with WHOLE banana peppers (not to be confused with pepperocinis!), scattered across the entire pie. I love that I don't have to do that napkin-soak or paper-towel-lay-under-the-box on their pizzas. You know what I'm talking about. Way to be green, First Class! First Class Pizza also has phenomenal customer service! The first time my husband went to pick up our to-go order, we hadn't ordered with a coupon, but the cashier graciously went ahead and discounted us their coupon price anyway! The second time we placed a to-go order, my husband tried to be more prepared, and brought in a coupon he found online. The owner, Jeff, looked at it and realized it was actually a fake coupon! Nonetheless, he STILL very kindly and generously gave us the coupon's stated $5 off! WHY THANK YOU! As folks who typically prefer New York style pizza, the first-class service and first-class ingredients at First Class Pizza has won a place in our hearts (and stomachs)!

Wish their toppings wouldn't fall all over the floor. My puppies appreciate it, but I don't. Flavors are great (I love the combo), and the potato wedges always hit the spot. I just need a yummy pizza that I don't rush to eat because my mouth is chasing down the toppings. Seal it all in, First Class!

This is the place to go for the best pizza in my opinion! I've only ordered through delivery and at each time, the pizza arrived when promised or sooner piping hot! In reading some of the reviews, some say the pizza is oily, but that has never been the case for me. I've ordered the Combo and the BBQ Chicken and both are very delicious! The Combo though is the favorite in the family and I love it :) The pizza crust is not doughy, but crisp and they are extremely generous with the toppings that are fresh and high quality, not something out of a can. The prices are a bit steep, but it is worth it! I used to order from the usual pizza chains like Papa John's and Domino's, but never again! Those pizzas can't compare to First Class! It's in the name! Can't wait to order another pizza again! ;)

Solid pie. Period. I have been twice in the past week! Awesome 22oz beer selection for like 10 bucks a bottle too - even had Stone Use By 22oz for $10!! Thats awesome. The pizza is not cheap, but its top shelf. A half dozen big screens and its tucked away in a shopping plaza so no crowd to fight. This is one of the best pizza joints in OC and my new fav pizza joint since moving to Irvine.

The name of this place could not be more misleading. I only give 1 star ratings for places where I have truly bad experience usually because of poor customer service. However, my experience at first class was so bad I think this warrants a 1 star. I went here on a weekday night and the place was pretty busy but not completely packed. I ordered my food and had to wait 40 minutes because a small pizza and buffalo wings came out. 40 minutes! Now maybe that might fly in a upscale restaurant where everything is being made by hand but not at a pizza place. I know for a fact that on a pizza line it takes about 2 minutes to top the pizza and 8 minutes to cook it. If I walked into dominos or any other comparable pizza place it would have taken 15-20 minutes tops to get my order. I don't know why the kitchen here is so slow but they are and there's really no excuse. Now the wait wouldn't be so bad if the food was good.... but unfortunately it was pretty terrible. I ordered for a thin crust pizza with the normal amount of toppings and what I got was a undercooked soggy piece of dough with toppings. Seriously, the dough was wet! and as soon as I picked it up all the toppings came sliding right off. I've eating better frozen pizza then that. And the buffalo wings weren't any better. Instead of tender juicy chicken we got horribly burnt dry bits of chicken. And I'm not over exaggerating. The buffalo wings were burnt black and crispy. It was terrible! It was as if they put it in the microwave and overcooked it. All in all I think this was the worst pizza place I've ever been too because of the long wait and poor quality food. It was very disappointing and I would not recommend this place or ever return again.

Rating my pizza experience, 5 Stars. Better then I expected. My girls whole family said this is even there top place to eat. I ate here for lunch & love love loved it

I love the pizza here. I'm one of those people who think the crust is the best part of pizza, and it's places like First Class Pizza that make me think that! Their pizza has a thick crust and loads of toppings. Their prices are a higher than other pizza places but you understand why one you see one of their pies. They are piled high with cheese and toppings. My one complaint is that it is hard to keep all the sausage, veggies, and pepperoni on my slice since there is so much going on. The best deal is the family meal: choice of salad, breadsticks, or dessert pizza, a two topping XL pizza and a 2 liter for 30$

Probably, I've tasted in OC. I have yet to have better, and love that I can just pop in for a quick slice anytime. Definitely authentic to the NY style I have craved all these years. Mucho delicioso toppings and very gourmet kinds you can try! Most similar place in OC to my favorite LA pizzeria as well, which is great because that's about an hour and a half away, and I thought I'd never find anything close to that again. Luckily, I found this a few years ago, and after moving a few miles closer, I managed to re-discover it recently. That said is it pricey? Yeah, if you're getting more than just one of their big ol' slices. Also try to pick the freshest looking kind they have, though they were likely made around the same time, one may be fresher than the rest. That said the help seems extremely bored at times, mix in a smile or thank you once in a while... not all of us live in Oak Creek, though we're more than happy to drive down for a bite!

Definitely a great pizza choice for wanting something different other than the usuals. The ingredients seem very fresh and taste great. Quality was excellent. Slightly pricy but then again most people willing to make more for fresh ingredients. Definitely would recommend.

friendly and versatile! nice crust and generous toppings and friendly counter people. also a good selection of beers which are rotating and interesting!

  • Mike C.

The food quality was OK. Better than chain store pizza but not hand toss quality. Price was pricy for what you get. They have variety of toppings. Delivery service was quick, but can't even get a greeting from the delivery person. I may as well give them $1 tip. Much rather do Z Pizza or Lampost.

I'm an easy grader with pizza but this store was still delicious. I ordered the ham and pineapple because I love that mildly meaty flavor complimented by the subtle sweetness. The crust was soft and chewy and the cheese was delicious as well as the toppings. Not overly salty- just perfect. So. So you think you can tell- heaven from hell?

This place is great. A little pricier than the big delivery chains but I think their quality is definitely worth it. Had the buffalo chicken pizza and it's probably the best I've had. Quick, too - it only took 15 minutes for my pizza to be ready. Will definitely come back.

Just ordered this at our work. Pizza was delicious. Crust is thic, pizza is cheesy and they put tons of meat on it. Will definatley be going back.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I went to here. Since I ordered for pick up, I have to limit this review to the quality and taste of the food, as well as portion size and price. When most, if not all, of the customers here are complementing this place about the generous amount of toppings they give, I suggest you start believing if you hold any doubts. Picked up my medium, thin-crust pizza and 1lb of wings in the suggested 15-20 minutes, very accurate with their estimate and walked out. First thing I could think of was, "This is a freaking heavy pizza for a thin-crust." In my mind, this could only mean one thing; my thin-crust wasn't actually going to be thin. Could I be any more wrong? I opened that pizza box and...combo toppings. Toppings EVERYWHERE (pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms). The crust was as thin as can be expected. To be quick, it wasn't the best tasting pizza I've ever had, but it was among my top picks. The toppings were fresh, decent cheese to sauce ratio, and did I mention toppings? I must say, I definitely was filled afterwards. But for $30 between two people at a pizza place, you would expect leftovers. There weren't any. Maybe we're just fat and big eaters, but I'd like to think otherwise. Again, my only complaints were the portion and pricing. If it was strictly about the food, I'd give it a solid 5. Again, high quality ingredients and of course, delicious. Would definitely recommend and return myself.

OMG I dieee for their pizza. The crust is the best and the 'blanket' of cheese they put on the pizza is perfection. I used to work in the same center and literally went to First Class every day for lunch. A mini cheese fills me up and the guys behind the counter are always really cool- I have never had a bad experience there. One time, they accidentally burned my pizza and ended up making me a new one and threw in their cinnamon pizza dessert as a consolation. The employees were the ones who informed me of the mishap and offered me the dessert right away. They didn't try to bamboozle me. Rad. It's pretty telling that most of the guys working there have been there for years. I remember some of the guys working at the Irvine Center Drive location way back when I worked in that center. I am definitely a loyal fan... I have yet to find pizza that trumps First Class. It seriously will never happen.

Good pizza, decent subs, pass on the pasta, other than the lunch combo's, it's a little overpriced..

Maybe it's 'cuz I'm fat... or maybe I just love damn good pizza... but after having FCP, I feel an urge to Yelp about my experience (while inhaling a 2nd and 3rd slice). My bf's friends came over last night. One of my bf's friends basically only eats pizza, so our choices were pretty limited. But I totally didn't mind! We've had their pizza several times, but for whatever reason, last night it tasted SUPER excellent! Maybe they suspected some newbies had set foot in their restaurant. Well, whatever the reason, it was so delish. I even finished the crust (which I don't normally do because it's usually too toasty for my liking). Deep dish pizza is #1 in my heart, but for non-deep dish, FCP at Woodbury Town Center takes the pie!

A tad pricey for my preference, yet I can still say you get your money's worth. Is that weird? I started my journey with them with leftover vegetarian pizza. I had a bite of it (cold, mind you) and was intrigued and decided to try them for real. Is that weird? So THIS weird guy decides to try it and head over. They captured the ambiance of an old-school pizza place; the Irvine location suits them perfectly. All they need is an old arcade machine, and it'll be perfect. Staff was cordial, but was a bit on the slacking side and the girl didn't give a very smooth recommendation after I said it was my first time, but that's OK. My rule on the wait: If I have to wonder where my food is, it's taking too long. I'd say they take slightly longer than Pieology does, but I DO give a little slack for pizza because I think they take longer to cook, but dang it I was hungry! BUT--the wait was worth it: Pizza built to my specifications, you could tell they were quality ingredients, and the crust was wonderful. Confession: I had some ricotta cheese at home, and I thought I could just pile it on for some extra (is that weird?), but alas, it is not as simple as Secret Pizza (Vegas) makes it look. I feel like I ruined a couple slices, but the rest was magnificent. Taste is a 5/5. Overall, 4/5. Great experience, will visit again, will recommend.

Huge pizza, they don't skimp on the toppings, in fact theres so much that it falls right off. They get a star knocked off for the price. Otherwise it'd be a 5 star place!

Dear cute boy behind the counter, I'd go just to see you, even if the pizza wasn't fantastic (which it is). :-) Lol, in all seriousness, great quality pizza. Wish I could get it all the time, but it's pricey. The service was great, they make you feel at home. While we were in there, a family dropped in "just to say hi." That's the mark of a true, friendly neighborhood place. I love that they'll put freshly chopped garlic on your pizza for free.

Wow. We picked up a pie and bread sticks from here and we were thouroghly impresses. The bread is dangerously delicious. We ordered the pep and sausage pie. The toppings were so flavorful and crust was perfectly crispy. The only downfall is the price. Probably a little too expensive to be a regular joint, but worth the treat once in awhile.

Best thick crust pizza in Irvine. I've been here couple of times and I've never gone home disappointed. Their pizza is the perfect blend of sauce and cheese. Their toppings are plentiful. I'd recommend their Spicy Southwestern. Amazing! This one time we accidentally ordered the southwestern and it came with bacon pieces. Since we don't eat bacon, we asked if we could get the same pizza without the bacon. Within 10 minutes we had another freshly made Southwestern without bacon. Great place to eat and I'd recommend this place to everyone.

3-1/2 stars... I've always loved First Class Pizza, especially when they were in the Harvard/Main mall. Since they moved to this Woodbury location, which I rarely go out to, I was forced to find other pizza joints that made my taste buds dance (zpizza and New York's Upper Crust!). Every now and then when I see coupons/deals from here though, I yearn for that hearty pizza that I initially fell in love with (the Zesty Italian and Pizza Burger were my favorites). Recently, I decided to use one of their deals I found in a local coupon book (you can find coupons on their website: savingsinoc.com ) - a large 1-topping pizza with spaghetti and meatballs for $19.99 (note: their deals are not always the same). The restaurant itself is clean and spacious with a reasonable amount of tables and a big screen TV (which is usually showing some sports game). It looks like they have happy hour from 3:30-6:30 (if I remember correctly), but I'm not sure what the deals are. On the the rare occasion that I do order from here, I always pick it up so I've never eaten inside. The pizza and spaghetti deal was more than enough to feed my hubby and 2 young kids. The spaghetti was nothing out of the ordinary as was the garlic bread that it came with. I was a little disappointed with the pizza though. The large was a lot smaller than I last remembered, and it didn't wow me like it used to. The crust was still good - crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside with a hint of sweetness (not plain and tasteless or oily like some other pizza places). I'd probably still come here if it was in an area that I frequent, but I'm happy to settle for my other favorite joints nearby.

Planned to pickup a pizza to go ...leaving work I realized I forgot to call in the order! Quickly found them off yelp and called it in... I work 10 minutes away. By the time I got there, it was ready for me for pickup! Service was fast and friendly. The pizza tasted very delicious. Great pepperoni and cheese. I would eat here again definitely!

I work around the corner from FCP so on busy days its my go to place. Fast, friendly service and some of the best pizza in Irvine. For about 8 bucks you get 2 giant slices and a drink, great value. If you happen to be in there on the day they are serving the Josh Hunter Special, please pick up at least a slice. Pepperoni, Mushrooms, Jalapenos, and Feta Cheese. Its the perfect slice of pizza.

Called in 20 min to pick up a $8 mini pizza and had to wait another 25 min in the store. Absolutely unacceptable for a mini pizza and for that price.

Word of advice: shell out for the specialty pizzas. The first time I ate here, I had one of those package deals (with a coupon) that included a large 1-topping pizza, breadsticks, etc. Wasn't "bad," but it was slightly disappointing, since many of the pictures on here show the pizza loaded with toppings. Not so with a 1-topping pizza. Well, I decided to give it another try with a $4 off an extra large coupon. I phoned in my order for a barbecue chicken pizza and a cinna-za. $30 with the coupon! Ouch. But hey, it tasted pretty darn good. Plus, it made my car smell like barbecue chicken for 2 days (yes, that's a good thing). Three stars because, while the the ingredients all tasted very fresh, the dough they were resting on was slightly soggy/oily and therefore limp. Oh well... 10 minutes in the oven and it's nice and crispy again, so no harm done, I suppose. As far as the cinna-za goes, yum! Worth the $6. Warm, melty sugar overdose!

Review for Delivery service ONLY: Service: friendly on tr phone. Easy order. (5/5) Unlike pizza hut, Papa johns and so forth their delivery was super fast and pizza was still HOT.. :) Food: We weren't sure if medium was enough for 2 of us but YES, we had a lot of leftovers.. Pizza = damn good and big!!!!!!!! (4.5/5) Couple slices will fill you up :D Price: it was def not a *recession* pizza price. I remembered the bill coming out to something high.. (3/5)

5 stars means "as good as it gets!" and that is how I feel about FCP. This pizza is truly First Class! The cheese and toppings are super high quality and delicious. The owner and staff are friendly. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. After dinner there is a nice grassy area outside where kids love to play. I often bring a bubble gun for my daughter. She LOVES the meatball pizza! This is not a cheap "cardboard" pizza like the major chains and, as a result, it is more expensive. They constantly run coupons however. I like that they offer italian seasoning on the tables as well as crushed red pepper. You cannot go wrong here. Yummy goodness! They have great bottled drinks there too.

2 1/2 stars... I wish I could give more stars, but I have been told that it is a $40 minimum for them to deliver to the Village at Irvine Spectrum. That's going to take off a 1/2 star for the service. The pizza is pricier than some of the other places, but you probably get fresher ingredients for it. Still $40 minimum is a bit ridiculous for a 10 minute drive. The pizza was pretty decent and the garlic stix are awesome! I can't put my finger on it, but there is something different about their sauce. It's a little bit more zesty than other places I've tried in the area. The crust is a bit thicker and more doughy. Some people might consider it a bit undercooked, but I personally like it better that way and it tastes much better when re-heated. Don't let the 2 stars fool ya. I'm from Chicago so when it comes to pizza I am much picker than with some other foods. It's a whole other ballgame.

  • John F.

Just moved from Chicago. If these other reviews are real, sounds like I'm doomed to bad pizza if this is the best around. Thin crust crust was super soggy on both medium pizzas. Toppings were plentiful, but cheese was not of good quality. California, where the heck can I get good pizza?!?! Service was fast and friendly though. Also had a great beer selection. But if your going for good pizza you won't find it.

  • Chris W.

Not sure what all the fuss is about this place. I guess I just prefer a different type of pizza. Being from the east coast, this pizza is just too doughy and the pizza sauce is more like tomato sauce. It wasn't bad, by any stretch of the imagination, but was definitely filling with the pig slices. Having moved up to the OC from San Diego, I prefer Filippi's and Bronx Pizza to First Class. Oh well, the search continues...

We've been eating first class pizza for over 2 years and I can honestly say I can't recall a single instance when we haven't enjoyed what we ordered. The kids and I love their thin crust. The service has always been extraordinary and fast. Definitely our local go-to pizza place.

After an extremely packed week I found myself starving and finally getting a chance to eat since a light breakfast around 10pm one night. There were a couple of problems with the following scenario that brought about this review. One, Yelp needs a button that says, "Open in the next 10 minutes" as opposed to "Open Now" :). And two, I apparently don't think clearly when I haven't had much sleep or food. So I'm driving down the street at 9:57 and I tell Yelp to find something open and the first thing I see that's semi towards home, as in U-Turn not required, was First Class Pizza. Now I've seen First Class Pizza a million times but I've never been. And the last thing I wanted to eat that night was pizza, but I was starving and I prefered pizza to a u-turn (before someone says something about salad, I'm not supposed to have salads per Dr.'s orders...although pizza isn't exactly on the top of the healthy list but it wasn't outright banned). Walking up to the place I should have noticed something was up, but I was on a few hours of sleep for the last 3 days so cut me a break here people. When I walked in and saw everyone look up from their cleaning the lights finally came on in my head. "I'm sorry, Yelp told me you were open. But that was like 5 minutes ago and now you're closed." Employee: Come in! What do you want? Me: Do you have slices already made? Employee: What do you want? Me: I'll take whatever you have already made. Employee: No, tell me what you want to eat? Despite my insistence of anything quick, they made me a personal pizza even though they really were closed, and those take 10 minutes. I thanked and apologized a million times but they were so amazing. I left their so happy with the Customer Service that I was telling people to go before I had a chance to get home and actually try the pizza. Thankfully it turned out to be delicious!! But I thought, when you're starving almost everything taste delicious, right? First remember the last thing I wanted to eat was pizza, so I was expecting to not be completely satisfied. Second I saved a slice to have as a snack the next day at work, and it was still amazing after being nuked. Yep this is officially my new favorite pizza place. :)

First-class Pizza is hands-down the best pizza in the OC. My wife and I craved it when we moved to Albuquerque a few years ago. I'm gave it a 5-star rating even though this place is a bit pricey. It is well worth it.

  • Halo Fan N.

The food is wonderful, however recently they have horrible coupons. This location did away with the $2 off a medium $3 off a Large and $4 off an extra large coupon. I know I sound cheap, but when your medium pizza is $24, you feel a little better about it when you get a few bucks tossed back in your direction

Not sure what happened to this place, but it's been steadily going down hill. It's soggy and sloppy. There is absolutely no quality control here anymore. Seriously nasty.

My family and I order from here every few weeks, and have never been disappointed. Pizza always arrives fresh and hot, and we love their house salad and spaghetti with meatballs too. Definitely the best pizza I've had in the OC. Great for catering too.

I came here because I completely forgot to order Ameci to my apartment and we had an out-of-town guest coming over. I'm new to Irvine, and didn't imagine that it would take too long to get a whole pizza here. 20 minutes later, an impatient and stressed out me was walking to my car with a pizza when suddenly, half way through the parking lot, I smell one of the best garlic cheese smells I have ever smelled. I stop in the middle of the parking lot and open the box a little to find out if that smell was my pizza. IT WAS. I ran to the car threw it in and drove home as quickly as possible. We opened it up and devoured it. This was HANDS DOWN the best pizza I have ever had. I got the Classico, for your reference.

If you're looking for a pretty mean pizza with thick tasty dough and toppings so heavy that most of them fall off when you grab a slice, this is the place. Sure they are pricey but think of it this way... I could eat an entire large pizza from those 5 for $5 places but I only get about 4-5 slices into a First Class pizza before I tap out. Oh yeah, and it doesn't taste like cardboard. The service is nice whenever I stop in for carryout and the store itself is clean and well run.

  • Jaemi S.

When someone asks me to order pizza, the only place I can think of from ordering is First Class Pizza. Luckily for me, I live right around the corner so I can always do a pickup. I haven't tried their delivery service yet, so I'm not too sure what to expect. They're pizza's here are off the hook. I usually order a medium pizza and have tried all different types of pizzas. One slice of pizza can easily get you full. They pile on toppings to the point where sometimes its easier to eat with a fork than with your hands. The crust is amazing along with the cheese and sauce. The price for a pizza is a little bit on the high side, but I think its worth the price. I would eat First Class Pizza over Domino's any day. Atmosphere : 4 Stars - Nice large seating area. Have multiple tv's playing sports. Price : 3 Stars - Expensive for Pizza. A medium will cost you around $20-24 depending on what you order. Food: 4 Stars - One of the best pizza's I have tried. Service: 4 Stars - Always received great service here.

I love First Class Pizza...but last night...ughh. We got the thin crust and it was undercooked. The bar is so high for them, so when they fail...I'm really disappointed. Undercooked thin crust is just nasty. I think they were too busy and just failed to cook it. I know they overload the toppings, so maybe a weak thin crust is to be expected...this was just doughy though. Not due to toppings, undercooked. Bummer.

If you like thick and fluffy pizza, you'll love this place. Baked to perfect! The crust is crunchy but the pizza is soft and fluffy. The pizza is also not greasy at all. Perfect combination of sauce, cheese and toppings. The ingredients are super fresh! I especially love their BBQ chicken. The pizza is not cheap, but it's definitely worth it!

Best pizza in town, been having this Pizza since 2006. Discovered it in Anaheim Hills thought it was one of a kind. Glad I found it when I moved back to Irvine. Soooo cheesy, chunky, toppings are so fresh you can taste it. One bite and your in pizza heaven any other pizza has a true competitor.

I have been coming here dor years, basically since LT was one of their big name promoters on local TV. Tip: if u want to watch football they have every game. If u want a quieter place that still serves beer but isnt loud like regular bars, come here. The manager is really nice and like the redskins (my team). Their pizza is good too. The crust is thicker but not deep dish.

Good taste but considerably oily, however with a dab of the napkin that was solved. I liked the thick crust but will try thin next. I wouldn't eat it there, too many kids/ loud the time I went.

Excellent Pizza! By far the best pizza I have ever had. I order from first class very often and most of the people inside know my order by heart. They are all very friendly and never keep me waiting. The quality of the ingredients they use is great, if you are looking for the best pizza go to First Class Woodbury.

My wife suggested this place for delivery because she had their pizza at work & thought it was good. I looked them up & saw that while we were about 4 miles away from their location (near the 5 & Culver), their website said we were well within their delivery area. So I spent several minutes placing an order that was around $40. After entering all of my address and credit card info, I went to place my order. You can imagine my surprise when a pop-up shot up and said they wouldn't deliver because my order didn't meet their $100 minimum. Nowhere on the website does it say ANYTHING about this. You wait until I've gone through several screens in the checkout, enter my credit card info and THEN you tell me you won't deliver to me?

Awesome! I just started ordering here and the pizza is the best! The service is top notch. I ordered a pizza for delivery and I screwed up my own order. When the pizza arrived I called to explained how I literally screwed my own order up and Laise was totally awesome and gave me a discount on the second pizza I was about to order. Kyle the delivery guy was very cool and helpful. This is a great pizza place and I plan on ordering again! A+++++++++

My coworkers and I rolled in 19 deep. We called our order in ahead of time and were greeted by friendly staff. We waited about 5 minutes before our pizzas, chicken wings, and pasta came out. And boy was it good! The pizza crust is crunchy, chewy, and cheesy. The "porker" is a medley of pork products (bacon, sausage, ham?) on a bed of sauce topped with cheese. The toppings were abundant and the pizza delicious. A great place any time of the week. The TV screens display different sports games and they have a happy hour special during the week. Definitely a fave.

after reading tran's review i wanted try this pizza place. i live so close to it and i finally made a visit during lunch today. i got their (as photo shows) lunch combo #1. the pizza i got was their day special which was the spicy bbq chicken. it was yummy and a very big slice. more than enough for lunch actually - comes with a drink and a small salad with dressing on the side. it was about $7.00 total. the pizza crust is large and fluffy and indeed has a nice chewy-crunchy texture. apparently this place uses fresh ingredients and makes their pizza dough fresh every day. the toppings were good - nothing out of this world but definitely tasted better than your typical papa john's/pizza hut/what have you... this place has about 5 TVs too so it's kinda fun to watch some sports or news during the day. lots of seating indoors and out. it's located next to "the counter" (burger place) in the woodbury town center. i'm having a "housewarming" with some friends tonight and may order from this place....we'll see how that goes!

Upgraded version of Round Tables (which prior to this was one of my favorite pizza places). The pizza served here is what I like to call the traditional American type. The type I grew up with, Dominio, Shakeys, PizzaHut, PapaJohns, etc. Comparing it with places like CPK or Pieology isn't quite the same. Their sauce is on the zesty side, which I love (and is also why I like Round Tables the best prior). But their ingredients are fresher and higher quality than Round Tables. If you like crispier crust, then I suggest not eating there (or asking them to bake it longer). I like ordering mine to-go and heating it up in a pan prior to serving. Warmer pizza, with gluey cheese on a crispy crust.

Pizza was decent. I'll hold off on a full review until I've tried their thin crust and/or other menu items. Personally, I would much rather choose Porkys or my OC favorite, Buccanneers Pizza! Anyways, I had their Sausage and Artichoke on a mini pizza. Sausage was good, artichoke was fine, bread was just ok. Cheese was about the same Their pizza reminds me of BJ's, but I'd prefer BJ's just because they have a lot of cute waitresses and great salads there.

Jimmy, jimmy, jimmy. Man were you right. When you told me this was going to be some of the best pizza I've ever had you were not lying. Standing there in your grease stained, white tshirt and those containers of ranch dressing in your hand I should have known to trust you. My roommates and I wanted some GOOD pizza, not that 5 dollar pizza hut stuff and didn't feel like 10 dolla costco. I usually go to Gina's when I want to satisfy that craving but wanted to try something different. Called in, and since there was no menu online asked the guy (Jimmy) for some recommendations. And given the ball, he just went over it and started talking almost like he had a love affair with these pizzas. We eventually got two medium, one half porker/half combo. another half southwestern/half hawaiian. It was definitely not pizza hut; both pizzas were loaded up like crazy. They spared no expense and thank God because it cost 40 for two. $$$. When Jimmy gave us the pizzas, he handed us some ranch sauce and my first thought was a guy after my own heart. As another reviewer said, this isn't chicago deep-dish, or NY pizza, and I thought maybe instead of complaining all the time I should just enjoy CALIFORNIA pizza. Which means a fusion of interesting, creative ingredients loaded up on a pie, sometimes drenched in ranch, sometimes drenched in honey mustard, ALWAYS a great food coma-ey time. Jimmy was absolutely right about his picks. Porker was amazing. Canadian bacon, sausage, pepperoni, ham, MEATBALLS, and...bacon bits. THAT'S LOVE. Southwestern - Some kinda spicey chicken, some kinda cheese, I don't remember because I was way too busy scarfing it down. It was all honey-mustarded up. I've never had a pizza like this and it was freaking delicious. Pineapple and Combo were good too, but nothing compared to the Porker and Southwestern. Usually I'm a 5 - 6 slice kinda guy, but I did 3 here and was feeing it. Don't miss out. Try a slice of California and all the haters out there can be pizza-less until they go back to NY.

My favorite pizza in OC. Fantastic toppings and tons of them. You can order a pie with mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes and you can barely see the cheese. Now that's what I'm talking about! Very good crust and sauce. The wings here are good as well. I have done both take-out and delivery, and the delivery folks do a good job getting the pizza to you quickly, warm, and with a smile. Two things to note: - The prices are not the cheapest around, but in this case you really get what you pay for. - The veggie pizza comes with extra cheese (a "cheese blanket"). Unless you really need it, it's best to ask them to forego the cheese blanket.

Holy s%&t. F#@k me. It's going to be very hard to not blurt vulgarities in this review (too late?) I've either had a religious experience (cue the heaven's gate music) or a highly pleasurable one (cue bam chicka wah wah music). Whatever it is, my heart (or lust) belongs to "The Afterburner Pizza"! First, they load extra of what makes pizza great--cheese!! Then, add one of my favorite ingredients--garlic. Then, they do the work for me by putting red chile flakes on. On top of that--jalapeno slices! Finally, if that wasn't enough heat, they add........TABASCO!!! I don't care what anyone says; We're a match made in heaven and will marry as soon as it's legal in California. ******NOTE: The map is WRONG, they are in the Home Depot shopping center on the other side of the highway********

Me and the boys had a late night study session last weekend. It was going to be a late night and we needed some sustenance to help us make it through the night....so we ordered a Large Sausage & Pepperoni Pizza and a Large Combo Pizza.....both Pizzas with a $3 delivery charge came out to $51.....damn, that was expensive! But it was worth the money. The Pizza Crust was thick and fluffy and the ingredients were top notch in quality. I ordered the Pizza 'well done' and I suggest you do that too.....otherwise I think the Crust has a chance of being undercooked. Ours was perfect and we were very happy. Overall, a very good Pizza joint. Wish we had one in Vegas. Return Factor - 97%

I live across street and it's just perfect. The food is amazing and they have a great friendly staff. the girl on the phone taking order is super nice. Couple times I have walked over here and the place is clean and great as well. the only negative thing about here is the price, it's pretty expensive. but the quality and taste make up for it for sure.

First Class is the only pizza I will eat (and like). My hubby & I drive from San Clemente to Irvine just to eat their pizza. Their ingredients are so fresh, and their crust is fabulous. Their salads are large and crisp. Their Cinnaza...oh boy. It's like a pizza with cinnamon and pure yumminess. I think this location is the best. It has 5 flat screens and plenty of seating. Now if they'd only hurry up and open their Talega location!

First Class Pizza's Generic name does not intrigue me to walk in and order food. SImply the name pizza does. I love pizza. Probably because growing up, watching the ninja turtles, pizza was their food of choice, and of course. it's delicious. While that may seem irrelevant it brings me to one point about this place. you know when you order pizza, take off that little white 4 legged table off the center and grab a slice.? It's as if this pizza was directly from the cartoons, with a lift, strings of cheese still attacked to the bottom of the box stretch up with the slice. If you love cheese, this pizza is for you. The cheese doesn't all slide off the pizza either when you pick it up. It remains in tact, probably because there is a considerable bulk of cheese well molded together. It's very good cheese but I'm more of a sauce person. They lay a subtle amount of sauce but it has a sweetness to it that adds the punchy tomato flavor into the equation. Their is definitely sugar in this sauce and it's good. I would argue the pizza would be better if the sauce layer was not the lowest ratio of the pizza. There is 4 x more cheese than sauce and 3 x more bread and a ton of toppings. The most generic portion of the pizza is the dough, Although delicious, it doesn't seem too special. The flakey crisp covers the cloud like center of puffy dough. Each bite, compresses the dough flat and you can watch it rise back to it's original form afterwards meaning the dough is well done. My favorite bite of pizza is always the second to last. Where the sauce and the crust meet. This is where you really get to taste the marinara and it doesn't play a major role in this pizza before that. while heavy and generous on toppings, especially cheese, First class pizza makes the 4/5 mark, above most the commercial chains. Note: it's not NY or Chicago style. Think puffy pizza oh and they make these pizza's fast and are best when hot and fresh!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat at Irvine - after finding out Bj's and Lazy Dog had an hr wait to be seated. We were just too hungry to wait that long! So we yelped and found this place. It wasn't a sit in place. It was a small, clean, and open (you can see what they're doing!) delivery place. They have a menu on the wall with "7 most famous pizzas" with cool titles for each one. But they had more on their paper menu. We decided to go half and half on "Spicy Southwestern" and "Burger Lovers(?)" It was hard to choose! They had so many good choices! We sat on a little bar and stool area to eat. Good thing they also provide paper plates, napkins, and etc. They also have drinks... But yeah the food was amazing! Thumbs up on their crust - soft and yet crunchy! Loved their toppings - so much flavor in one bite! I highly recommend Spicy Southwestern. It has cilantro, bacon bits, chicken, red onions, seasonings, and other stuff that will kick in your mouth! Burger lover had tomatoes so juicy and meatballs that are in good sizes! So we finished it in 15 mins or less and left very satisfied and happy. They are friendly too. We were talking about yelp and they were telling me which pizza it was when I showed them the yelp pictures. lol. I think it's worth a try to skip BJ's (although we still love there) and come here if you crave awesome pizza.

tended a quick "hang out" with friends and tried First Class Pizza for the first time. At first, I was thinking, "Great, a night of greasy pizza and beer." Got half that right, we had beer. Greasy pizza, it is not. Although it does leave a good oil stain on the box, i think they use good light EVOO. I had a taste of and artichoke and sundried tomato pizza... And a mushroom and jalapenos pizza. Both good. Chewy crusty crust and subtle tasty sauce. I believe the ratio of toppings, sauce, cheese, and crust was well engineered. The artichoke hearts were very tender; there were no thick unchewable skin on the hearts. All in all... I would try them again. Check consistency of their product. Keep on going First Class Pizza.

Is this place expensive? Yeah, definitely. A medium size cheese pizza is around 15 bucks. On Mon-Wed they usually have a coupon that you can get a large cheese for $9.99 (I think). I've gotten that coupon a few times, I don't know if you can always use it though. That's a smokin' deal - and you can add toppings for the normal price ($1.50 each) Is it worth the price? For me, yes. The sauce is really good, and most importantly - the cheese is amazing! It's thick and really covers the pizza. The crust is also really thick and tasty (but sometimes it does get a little soggy/oily because of all the toppings). With all these things combined, I get really full from just two pieces of cheese pizza. This is coming from a girl who has managed to put down an entire large pizza. I may be spending more money, but I get more leftovers, and I feel more satisfied. Next time I will shell out the big bucks and try a specialty pizza.

I like this place. The ingredients and crust are SUPER FRESH. Its in a new plaza, unfortunately no one probably knows about it much yet, or people are just too lazy to drive out. Wish it will last long enough that when the houses start developing that direction, they will still be there for me! Coz...their pizza is just great, beer on tap. We had the Ultimate Thin Crust and the Kick and Chicken. WOW They really pile on the toppings! I highly recommend any of their specialty pizzas. I say A++ to their pizzas, great, yum If only they will take out the $30 minimum delivery.

This is good pizza if you're craving a particular type of pie--very thick crust, piled with lots of toppings. That's not really my favorite type of pizza, but I did like the food here. We had the Classico and we enjoyed it, though we did think it was overpriced. We made the mistake of ordering a medium pizza and some potato wedges, and it was enough food for two meals. If I happen to be craving this style of pizza, I'll come here again, but I'd definitely order a smaller pizza for just two people.

This chain is pretty damn good. They are $$$ but I think in this case, it is well worth it. Before I had, had their pizza at the Honda Pond Center at various sporting events and always felt it was a pretty decent pizza. Then I started working near this one and now I am in for lunch 2 times a month I would say. Again, its not cheap. 2 slices and a drink is about $9 where at Costco you get 2 similarly sized slices and a drink for under 5. BUT, First Class is first class for sure. The pizza has some weight to it with plenty of cheese, a very good crust and a ton of toppings. One of these days I'll have to order a pizza instead of the slices and try some of their other options. I'm also a fan of NY Upper Crust and it may have a slight edge but these are both top notch pizza options in OC.

Finally! I found a pizza in Orange County that actually was pretty good. Great crust (although a little thick for my taste), and the cheese and sauce was perfect for the pizza. I ordered a small sausage and they upgraded it to a medium (check their website). Not a bad deal! I will definitely return!

Very good pizza. Very pricey pizza. Problem is - there's so much competition for pizza - is this worth the coin? Sadly, not often enough for us. However, I took the star down for the cost, but we know the quality is there. Once or twice a year for us...

I feel that this is the BEST pizza restaurant to sit down with your family or friends. The pizza is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, and the pizza is not made with much grease. Personally I try to keep away from unhealthy foods, but when it comes to a meal that I crave for pizza, First Class Pizza is the way to go. My dad introduced to this place to me, and I could never be more satisfied. Every time I come back to California, I visit First Class Pizza.

Great pizza and great prices for the ingredients. I've tried the porker, big cheese and wings. They give you so much meat on the porker. I LOVE IT. the big cheese is amazing. I'm a huge fan of cheese and you can really taste it. not a huge fan of the wings. But overall, it was a great experience with the food and friendliness. If you live in irvine, you must try.

This was a decent pizza place for being the only one in the area that wasn't a major chain ( i hate chain pizza places). The service was pretty good, although took a little longer than i would have liked. The taste of the pizza was just okay, not great, but not horrible either. I think i'd return here if i was really craving pizza, and was in this area, otherwise i'd probably just pass on it. Don't go here expecting greatness, because its far from it.

best pizza on the face of the earth. forget new york, forget chicago, this is the place to eat. amazing crust, delicious sweet tangy sauce, a smothering of fresh mozzarella cheese and always always loaded with the highest quality toppings. the staff is beyond friendly and nice. my family has been coming to this location since it opened and others for years. they have never forgotten our faces and names and always give us extras for being loyal returning customers. my 3 favorite pizzas are the meatball, chicken garlic and tustin rancher. all of these will blow your mind and change your definition of pizza forever. the house salad that comes with the family meal deal is always fresh and loaded with cheese, olives and croutons, fantastic. whenever i travel home, this is always my first stop. meatballs meatballs meatballs!!!!

I love this place!! Being italian and from the East Coast where it is very hard to beat the pizza you can get back there, Me and my family will always choose First Class Pizza first. I've been to them all. New York to West Coast. Never would go back here for what it costs. If you like lots of crust and bread, then go hear. I rather be filled up with toppings vs bread. Round Table is much better.

The only reason this FC pizza gets so many good reviews is because there is nothing to compare it to around the Woodbury area. The pizza is really expensive for what you get. I have been there and ordered a few times for take-out but I just can't do it anymore.

Hands down best pizza and service I have ever had! I could not have asked for better, perfect combo of cheese sauce and they are definitely not stingy with there toppings! Very impressed I can honestly without a doubt say I will never get pizza from anywhere else as long as I am an irvine resident!!! Way to go, glad someone finally got it right!

The food is good but pricey and my big complaint is the "help" Teenage looking girls who can't hold a thought in their head, I had to repeat my simple 2 item take out order 3 tmes and I still did not get what I asked for. No please or thank you, just vapid stares. Really? You charge 15 bucks for a pizza and can't hire someone who is courteous??

I like this place better than the one in Harvard & Main. Well, the food is the same, but the staff are very nicer, cool, and funny. Also, it has a bigger sitting area, clean restrooms, and big TVs. I love their Great White pizza.

What's in a name? Decide for yourself, but how can u pass up the pizza with a title "three little pigs"? It's got bacon, sausage and canadian bacon all in one....yummmmy! And the crust is like biting into a fluffy cloud. Only thing is to ask for it to not be overbaked in the oven then you're good. Also, it's worth ordering a mini pizza instead of a slice that's been sitting around. You'll see the difference when you bite into the pizza and the cheese is oozing all over your face and plate. Not so much when u buy it by the slice.

For some reason I was craving pasta, and when I couldn't find a specific pasta place, I thought I'd try First Class Pizza to see if they had pasta dishes. I figured its Italian, that's probably my best shot. Well, not only did they have pasta but they had like 10 types in addition to hero sandwiches. I was blown away by their selection! Pizzas, pastas, and sandwiches... now suddenly I couldn't decide what I wanted. In the end I got a delicious fusili chicken pesto pasta that was both filling and fairly cheap. Definitely a solid meal for the price. Atmosphere wise too, this place is pretty nice. Large, selection of beers and some big screen tvs on the wall make it a chill place to have a cheap dinner. So First Class Pizza has quality and quantity; what more can you ask for?

Cooks their pizzas at the proper temperature. Step up from Papa Johns, Dominos and Pizza Hut, who all seem to cook their pizzas at too low a temp. First Class Pizza does not skimp on the toppings, the sauce is delicious, crust is crunchy. They have a good beer selection and TVs for the Sports Fans

The reports of this place's imminent demise appear to have been as they say greatly exaggerated. I'm please to report that this location is still in business. Based on other Yelpers' positive reports, I've been wanting to try this place. I had an XL pepperoni delivered to do just that. The pizza is good. On the one hand, it's not cheap (about $25 for a one topping XL pie delivered), on the other hand, they appear to use quality ingredients, and they don't skimp. The pie was loaded with cheese and pepperoni. I usually need at least two slices to be full, but one slice was plenty. This will be my go to place for Pizza in Irvine.

I hate those Yelp reviews of gourmet lunch trucks. I set out to find them and end up having to settle for someplace that is land-locked. Today I gave up looking that German sausage lunch truck, and tried out First Class Pizza. It is fast service if you eat the lunch specials with the prefabricated pizza standards. I wanted the ultimate thin crust pizza. So I ordered a mini-pizza, a side salad and drink. The side salad was ridiculous. They gave me a large tub (1/2 cup) of thousand island dressing for a tiny salad of green lettuce, carrot slivers, one cherry tomato and dark brown croutons. I only used a tablespoon of dressing for this tiny, tiny side salad. There as a long wait of 10 minutes for my pizza. The pizza was great, but my a la cart order came to $13.00 plus tax and tip. I like Bravo's set-up better, even though FCP's thin-crust pizza was good. It was very, very thin crust, with pepperoni, cheese, and diced pepperachino peppers.

I live very close to this First Class, within walking distance in fact. The pizza is always good and not greasy at all. The crust of their regular pizza is plump and flavorful and their thin crust if just right (thin but not floppy, just crunchy enough). They are very generous with the cheese and the toppings every time. When you get a salad with your order you get generous portions of the salad fixings and not just the lettuce. When you have one person who doesn't want pizza First Class has some really good sandwiches and they've NEVER messed up an order (i.e. - when we ask for no cheese on a sandwich they don't forget and put it on anyway.) And while I'm not from North Carolina myself, they have Cheerwine in bottles and it's quite delightful. As I mentioned, I live within walking distance of the location, but I'm sometimes lazy or don't feel well so I normally get it delivered. The longest I've had to wait is 45 minutes. (That's not long at all for a freshly prepared pizza from a busy place. You want to eat a a place that's busy, because it means they have a high ingredient turn over and everything is reasonably fresh, which it is at this place.)

"Don't worry, a mini is enough for most people." Despite this reassurance, I still wasn't convinced that an 8" pizza would be enough for me. The pie was expensive and the portion seemed questionable, but if First Class Pizza delivered (thank you, I'm a comedic genius), I wouldn't mind the slightest. I've just finished a satisfying meal, and I can easily say that FCP has met if not exceeded my expectations. I got home and opened up the tiny cardboard box in anticipation. The pizza was overflowing with toppings, and I knew right away that I would need a fork to save any sausages or peppers trying to escape. A thick but hearty crust supports this medley of toppings, and it isn't easily forgotten either. The meats and veggies tasted remarkably fresh, which can only be a good thing. I was somewhat disappointed to find that the combo pizza didn't come with my favorite topping, olives, but it isn't a huge deal. If you haven't guessed by my description of FCP's pizza, it's pretty filling. A fellow Yelper wrote that two slices will get you full, and that anything after three slices will become uncomfortable. This is absolutely true, and I'm glad that I'll be able to get a breakfast/snack out of the last of my four slices. It's been an hour since I've finished eating, and I'm still feeling pretty bloated. First Class makes a great pizza. Not quite five star level, but certainly among the best you'll find in Irvine. And yes, a mini pizza is enough for one mere mortal.

  • Kyrk S.

Would you like a pizza with those toppings? If First Class Pizza were a woman, she'd have written book on man pleasing. This pizza ain't for the faint of heart. Nah, this is a man's man's pizza. A burly and voracious pie that will knock out the weak of stomach. They cover your pizza so completely that were it not for that ring of crust, you wouldn't know there was anything underneath. The crust is thick, with a nicely crisped exterior and very fluffy inside. It's hearty and complementary - the perfect delivery agent for your pizza. The sauce has a hint of spice, a subtle bite to activate your taste buds without impairing your ability to taste or control your saliva. Topping those off is a cover of cheese that is so thick light can't escape it. The whole thing combines together with your toppings like Beethoven's Symphony 9. But this is a man's pizza so as you bite into it, it brings up manly images of tearing through a piece of meat that you just wrestled to death. Eat 2 slices and you find yourself oddly full, questioning your own manhood given all the pizza you've had in the past. Eat 3 and you're ready to call it quits. Eat 4 and you hit food coma and the wall. This is some serious shit here. Don't miss out on it.

FCP: It never fails. They deliver excellent pizza. I don't live in Irvine but a big reason for "living it up with the wild Irvine people" is to order this pizza. Always consistent and always delish! 5 stars my ass, 10 stars!!!! Winning!

Let's just say, "I don't eat a lot of pizza, but when I do...I eat first class." My kids really like the "porker" pizza with meatballs. I think the BBQ chicken pizza is the bee's knees. The medley of BBQ sauce, tender chicken and cilantro drizzled in BBQ sauce is perfection. The pizza has a terrific thick crust, very doughy. Our extra large cost about $27. One of the reasons my hubby and I really like this place is that they serve blue moon in pitchers. There's nothing like ice cold blue moon on tap. Today I got a pitcher of fat tire...just as good. Tip: Happy hour is from 4-6 p.m. so you can get a pitcher for just $8.00. Sometimes, it just doesn't get any better than pizza and cold beer. Today was one of those days. Thank you, you are really first class.

When I was told there's a place that has pizzas that taste just like Rubino's, I did not believe it. For over a decade, my family has considered Rubino's pizza the best around OC. It is our absolute favorite pizza. The only problem was, since our move out to this side of Irvine, driving all the way over to Costa Mesa/Santa Ana just seemed a chore (we're lazy people). And presto, First Class Pizza - you have blessed me with your presence. The pizza here tastes almost exactly like the ones I crave from time to time. Love the generous sauce, the thick stringy cheese. The toppings are great too. Combine it together and bliss. Yes, it only took me months to discover this place. When I first heard your pizzas tasted like Rubino's, I mistakenly thought it was Peppino's my family was referring and I thought they were on crack ... To those expecting "NY-style" pizza, this ain't it. But who said First Class is? If anything it's "west coast" pizza. Good "west coast" pizza at that. The only thing seemingly off are the prices which are a pricey than I would have liked, hence the -1 Star dock. Ah well... First Class has filled a temporary void when I feel like having good pizza but too lazy to drive too far out.

First Class Pizza has been my favorite pizza for at least 20 years, that was back when they had a small little spot in Santa Ana. I frequent the location on Jamboree when I'm picking up dinner on the way home, but this location is where my team and I tend to frequent at lunch time. Their lunch specials are reasonably priced and generous in portion size. For example, I usually get the two slice combo that comes with a drink for $7.99. And these are two massive slices! The pizza itself has a spicy flavorful sauce, tons of fresh cheese and lots and lots of toppings. Warning: not suitable if you have a meeting or something that will require much brain power after lunch. This place will put you into a food coma. I also like this location because it has a nice sized dining area with several TVs, or if you prefer, some outdoor seating as well. If you are looking for quality pizza, First Class is the way to go.

Last night, the BF and I were heading home from a bunch of errands and decided to stop at FCP for dinner. BF got a sausage sandwich with EXTRA mozzerella, it looked really good! I couldn't decide, so I ended up with a spicy southwest pizza with no green peppers or jalapenos. The other toppings included grilled chicken, bacon, garlic, cilantro, honey mustard sauce, red onion, cheese and tomato sauce. IT WAS AMAZING! I'm not one to get the "designer pizzas" because I'm an extra pepperoni and cheese pizza type of girl, but kids, this pizza was great. You need to try it if you go to FCP. I got the mini pizza (like a personal sized pizza, 4 slices) and I only ate 3 of the 4 slices, BF ate the other slice. Next time, we are definately getting a bigger pizza for us to share! Mmmmmm I want one right now. :o)

I come here when I'm in the mood for good pizza. I always get coupons in the mail for them. 1 medium cheese pizza for 10.99 which has about 8 slices. their cheese is like extra cheese in other places. so yummy and good with the sauce. this is one of the nicer first class pizza. the other one I go to is on harvard and main.

Now don't get me wrong, this place makes a decent pie...but the last time I ordered a large pizza from this place with a couple toppings, it cost me over $35. Now is it me, or is anyone else bothered by the fact that a large pie costs that much? This is not East Coast style pizza...it's got a pretty thick and doughy crust and you definitely can't do the East Coast fold....toppings will be flying everywhere....there'll be mayhem. Decent pizza, but way overpriced.

I eat way too much pizza and I traveled around OC for work every day for about a year. This is one of my favorite pizza stops for lunch. They have pizza by the slice and they have some pretty creative specialty pizzas that they make available by the slice for lunch. The prices are reasonable about $6-$10 for lunch. The best thing about this place though is that they use quality cheese in liberal amounts.

Short of being gourmet Pizza, First Class is one of the best pizza I've had in Irvine. Whether you go for something simple like Sausage and Mushroom, or one of their delux editions -- Spicy Italian and Kick'n Chicken would be my recommendations, they load it up with topping and you taste it on every slice. Just know that you're gonna pay for all that goodness -- over $25 for a delux large without a coupon. It's an indulgence for the the family. A tip for everybody is to keep your eyes out for the coupon packets/flyers that come in the mail, there're ususally a couple for First Class.

It was movie night with the boyfriend, and what better way to start off movie night, then with pizza?!? Conveniently, this place is about a mile away from my house. It is located within the Woodbury Town Center. My boyfriend and I ordered the XL sampler which consisted of 4 different flavors: spicy southwestern, porker, kickin chicken, and combo. We also ordered chicken wings and a chinese chicken salad. The total was about 50 bucks. I really liked the pizza and salad here, but the chicken wings were a disappointment.

For fast Pizza this place nails it. Just enought cheese and toppings to satisfy even the pickiest pizza enthusiast. Make sure you get the meatballs or one of there signature pizzas. Drawback to these guys is the prices. If you are on a budget and cant spend alot of money. make sure you order Pizza Hut or Pappa Johns, but if you want something different but a little more expensive make sure you try First class Pizza.

This place is FIRST CLASS! I love their pizza, luckily I also had the luxury of having a friend who works here so I was able to know the secret menu which has one of my favorite pizzas on there. The only reason I would give them 4 stars is because the pizzas are very expensive; however, if you subscribe you can get some good deals such as a free upgrade in size which perhaps saves some money. The taste of the pizza is excellent im sure to come back here.

If your looking for a pizza place that looks like any normal pizza place but will amaze and surprise you with it's quality and taste this is the place ! The pizza is very good quality and you will not regret your choice ! My favorite is the Italian sausage pizza, try it with a cold cup of soda for a nice touch.

I've been here once and I'd say, based on that experience, this pizza is on the same level if not a notch above Round Table. It's really good. But it's up there in terms of price. I'd probably come here for special occasions (birthdays, large group events, etc)... then again, when else do I ever eat pizza when it's not from the frozen food section at the grocery store?

I was craving pizza and was sick of ordering from the same place so I decided to find a pizza place on yelp and this is what I found. The pizzas are pretty big and they have a lot of toppings on them. They don't skimp on the toppings at all. The crust was really good and the price wasn't bad either. This place is walking distance from my place so I'll definitely be coming back here whenever I have a pizza craving.

Pizza is amazing, easily the best out there. We took a group of friends here and were able to try a lot at once. The garlic bread was like nothing else I've ever had. I highly recommend it. They have a nice selection of beer on tap....we were so happy to have Kona on tap : ) The atmosphere is nice too. The decor reminds me of a nice Italian restaurant, but you still get a nice pizza and beer vibe. Some might find it expensive for pizza, but this isn't domino's! The quality of ingredients is obvious and the toppings are loaded up!

This place is a great pizza joint in Irvine. Come here with a group, family, or friends to catch the game. They don't have the biggest of TVs but they do have sound, which is a big plus. Service n/a (You order and pick up...simple) Ambiance 9/10 (If there were bigger TVs, 10/10) Value 8/10 Taste 8/10 Mind-blasting factor 7/10 Solid pizza. Good variety and you do get what you pay for. I really like the ambience: clean and you're surrounded by TVs. Like I said, if the TVs were bigger that would be great, but this isn't a sports bar so I'm not gonna knock on it too much. Ordered the Zesty Italian. Oooof....zesty it is indeed! If you don't like your pizza being slightly sour due to the peppers, I would say this one isn't for you. To me however, the balance between sour, salty, and savory was good. The slightly spicy kick at the end of it was definitely a plus. The cheese is absolutely sublime. The pizza is served fresh out of the oven and the cheese just oozes and clings on for dear life as you separate a slice from the main pizza. I'm not a big fan of pizzza crusts, but I gotta say that this is a good one. Fluffy on the inside, über (yes, I said über) crispy on the outside. And it it gimongous! The only criticism of it is that since the pizza is loaded with stuff when it sits on the tray, the bottom gets über soggy. So it becomes a fork and knife pizza (I don't typically like eating my pizzas this way) since you can't hold it up unless you somehow use the fold or double hand technique. But this often leads to toppings on the plate and a sauce pizza, if you know what I mean. Overall, I would recommend this place!

My husband and I just got back from here. My classmate suggested we try it out. He did not disappoint! It was fairly calm when we walked in, about quarter after 6. My husband wasn't terribly hungry and not feeling up to something new so we just ordered a pepperoni pizza. We also got the Cinna dessert pizza thing. Let me just say, YUM on both accounts! The pizza was very tasty. It was a little greasy but just as I'd expect something with a ton of cheese and pepperoni on it. ;) The crust was really good. I liked that the pizza wasn't very heavy on the sauce either. The dessert pizza was really good. I could only eat 1 piece of it because I was so stuffed from dinner. Really, really good stuff. I'm sure we'll be back!

BIG FAT PIZZA. I'm not a huge fan of thick crust, but this pizza does their pizza well! I love their cheese too, its really gooey and fresh tasting. Their pizza is really nice quality. I love all their toppings, it's not too greasy and their chicken tastes like chicken! You know how that can be.. Anyways, I love their pizza, they have really great thick crust pizza, Their crust is so delicious and I honestly have no problem eating their crust, where I'd feel differently with like Papa Johns or Dominoes. I think their crust is crunchy and soft and just so good! I really like their pizza, totally worth your buck!

Eh, just OK nowadays. I used to like it, I mean they do have pretty good food, but here are my gripes about it. 1) Service/wait time. The kids that work here sometimes are nice and friendly and other times they look like they're loathing the fact that you walked in to order something, thus interrupting their daydreaming. Making a pizza is not like painting the Sistine Chapel. It shouldn't take so long when you can obviously see there aren't too many orders in and its taking way too long. 2) Prices. So I was going to order one of their small specialties, which at about $12.50 I thought was pushing it. Yes, they are higher quality than The Hut or The 'Noes, but still. Then I walked in and its $15 for a small specialty. Hot damn! No thank you, sir! I'll come back here eventually, but only if I can split the bill with someone and I bring a novel to read. Other than that, its back to Costco for cheap, fast, yet still decent pizza.

There are only two pizza places in all of California that I will eat at: my Uncle's pizza parlor in SF, and First Class Pizza. Everything else is crap; it doesn't help that I'm not a huge fan of pizza to start with. I loooove First Class Pizza. They pile on so much of the toppings that you need two hands to eat a slice. Their pizza is amazing, but extremely unhealthy. I love the pizza, but I can only eat it on special occasions so I don't get morbidly obese. Pros: + Lots of toppings + Delicious pizzas Cons: - So unhealthy and greasy - On the pricey side for pizza.

I love their pizza if I can afford to have some good ol' fashioned post-feast heart burn. We used to order pizza from here all the time. We once ordered 12 pizzas, a couple salads and some orders of wings to go and it was ready in less than 45 minutes. Surprising, considering there are only a few people working here. What you get, time after time, is reliably great pizza covered in toppings with fresh cheese, sauce and... GREASE! Yum. If you're in the area, not dominoe's, pizza hut or any of the other chain pizza places can compare. Beware of the lunch time rush!

Good pizza! Recommend trying Jacob's idea. Loaded with pepperoni, bacon bits, pineapple, and lots of crushed red pepper. Used liveonthego.com to order and had my food ready when I arrived. 9/29 - knocked them down one star because of stale pizza. Have been there a couple of times for lunch and have been disappointed with old pizza that served to us (when ordering by the slice).

oh, my, god. You know those days where you wake up, a little hungover, and think "you know what, a pizza sounds like the best idea in the history of mankind." I had this morning, and it did not end well. I ordered a pizza from First Class with green peppers, olives and (just to be snazzy) sundried tomatoes. Anxiously awaiting my delivery, I couldn't wait to sink my teeth into a delish slice of premium quality pie. But you know what? It wasn't first class quality at all, the pizza that was delivered to me wouldnt even be suitable for steerage. What I was delivered was not even really a pizza, it was more of a piece of flat bread covered in WHOLE sundried tomatoes and topped with a sprinkle of cheese. The pizza was so overwhelmingly sundried that I couldnt even eat it. And don't bother pulling OFF the sundried tomatoes because these were the only thing of substance on the entire pie. For 30 dollars (large pizza, toppings, delivery fee etc.) this pizza was a humungo disappointment. I ended up getting NY upper crust 30 mins after this pizza was delivered because i was THAT upset. ugh.

Me and my wife live near this place but would rather eat first class than any other pizza joint. I say this cause they are never skimpy with their toppings. One slice is practically 1.5 slices at any other place. We love to order the sampler pizza for variety purposes. We get the bbq chicken, vegi, spicy south western and and the combo. The price is slightly higher than the other guys but man the taste is worth every penny.

I ordered my pizza for deilvery tonight, just before 7pm. It just arrived now at 9pm! The estimate was 8:00pm, which was already a bit much for a pizza, but we're new to the area and had read the good reviews and wanted to give it a try. Needless to say, waiting two hours was not in our plans, and we were pretty pissed (and hungry) when it finally arrived. After calling multiple times to complain (and always being told the guy was almost there, and then, of course he wasn't) they finally comped the pizza 50%, which we did appreciate. But, now that the pizza has arrived, we are more than underwhelmed. First of all, it was only luke warm, which is unsurprising I guess given how long ago it "left" to come to us. But, the crust was also dry, the cheese overly thick, the crust "chewy" and basically it tastes like cardboard. Super bland. I'm from Chicago, so, I've have some decent pizza in my life. I would say the people who have given this positive reviews have probably never left southern California. This place is mediocre at best. I am shocked at the good reviews this place has gotten. Dominoes is fresher, and that is saying a LOT. Thumbs down for this place on service and taste. Moral of the story: * Do not order for delivery -- took two hours and arrived cold * Go elsewhere if you want a pizza that doesn't taste like cardboard

Great local pizza joint that your friends and family will enjoy. The ingredients they use are fresh and tasty. Any pizza is a great choice and their salad and wings are fabulous too! Good place for dine in as well! If you are thinking of pizza, give this place a try. You will be satisfied than the major brand pizzas.

The best pizza I've had in the OC so far. The crust is amazing and cooked to perfection. Large vege and meat chunks all over. The yelp menu needs updated as it shows a medium pizza is about $15 when in reality it is closer to $21.

I never write reviews but because this place is so terrible, I had to make it known to fellow yelpers. This place offers terrible pizza. The pizza is SO OILY it got me sick for 3 days straight. I ordered the thin crust with pepperoni and the thin crust was terrible. It was too dough-ey and not crispy enough. And all that oil was disgusting, SO greasy. AVOID THIS PLACE.

  • Shiva A.

I've been here a lot. I live right across the street. Lately though I've noticed their pizza is really greasy. The center of the pizza is covered in grease and the crust gets soggy. It is expensive too. I never really paid attention but it is. I ordered to go and paid nearly $30 for a pepperoni pizza and large Ceasar salad, which wasn't large. Also, their Ceasar salads have iceberg and has carrots in it... like wtf? If I'm going to play six dollars for a measly salad then get it right! Romaine, cheese, croutons and dressing.... that's it! Will I be back? Probably...they have good beers

Overall I like first class pizza. A bit over priced but they have quality ingredients. I ordered a pizza tonight and it was extremely soggy that anytime I would pick up a slice of my pizza all the toppings would come off and the crust was wet. Maybe it was just a one time but they need to work on make their thin crust a bit more crispy.

My girlfriend and I get pizza here and pretty much more than half the time it is pure dough and not cooked in the middle. Today I called in after picking up my pizza and told the guy on the phone that the pizza was really doughy in the middle. He said that he was sorry for that and they would make me a new pizza for me. I went and picked up the pizza and came home. The pizza looked really good at first and then when I took the first bite again straight dough not cooked in the middle. I gave them a chance to redeem themselves and it seems they have failed. Over and over I gave this place a shot. But I am now tired of the constant neglect of the food and never getting a cooked pizza. A frozen pizza from a store 7-8 dollars would be a huge step up from a 15-16 dollar medium pizza that's not cooked. I just wonder how often this happens to people and if it happens a lot they need to have better quality control of what comes out of that kitchen. I mean how hard is it to cook pizza. So beware before going you might get what you want and you probably won't.

The chicken Parmesan and sausage sandwiches are just brilliant. The grilled chicken they use in their sandwiches and pizzas is very tasty and juicy. The pizza here is really good too. Every pizza is fully loaded with toppings. This one place you might want to ask them to go easy on the toppings ;) but very delicious pizzas for sure. Definite go!

  • Joanne L.

Pizza here is pretty good! Cheese is fresh and chewy, toppings are generous and bite-sized. Based on the recommendation of a friend, I ordered a pizza from First Class for take-out: XL Canadian ham / pineapple / meatball / jalapenos. Meatball tasted very fresh and I could barely see the crust of the pizza under all the toppings. Not the best pizza I've ever had in my life, but it was very good. The only minor quibble I had was when called in the order for a 4 topping pizza with extra pineapple if possible. However, when I came in to pay, I was charged 5 toppings. I just wish they had informed me that extra would mean double topping and incur an additional fee. The 20% discount for checking in on Foursquare is still valid as of today!

So I've ordered delivery a handful of times here. Delivery is always swift (mainly due to how close I live to this place). The toppings are GENEROUS. TONS AND TONS of toppings! Sure the pizza is really oily, but try pizza in NY or Chicago and that's the norm. Seriously oily pizza isn't a problem unless you're eating pizza daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner -___- My major complaint is that half of the toppings, end up falling off. Seriously, just throw cheese over the top of the ingredients and BIND it! Is that really so difficult? Even having ordered extra cheese, absolutely no cheese placed over everything to hold it together....... Be prepared to have a spoon or fork to scoop out half or more of your toppings from the box.

Wanting to eat deep dish pizza/ pizza in general for quite some time, I decided to yelp it and found this place. Felt excited and brought my troops there on Saturday night around 8pm. Got there and saw an almost empty place (they only had one table with two guys and another table with a family of 6) in which most of the reviews said here that this place is usually packed/busy. I was like 'Okay, maybe it's just those days.' I got in and expected to be seated and served like usual. But nooo... Two guys were cleaning the floor and tables and didn't even bother to look at us. I got my eyes locked up with the lady on the cashier, and she stared at me for a few seconds and then looked away like she didn't see anyone there. Then one of the cleaning guys said that we can sit wherever we want and then they will clean up the table for us in which all of the tables were clean and ready to be used. Once we sat, nothing was being offered to us, no menu, no nothing. Since it was our first time here, we didn't know if we have to order it first on the cashier or they would bring the menu to us. If it happened to be the former, they could AT LEAST tell us that we need to order it in front. It was not even close to closing time. We sat there like idiots and still no one even bothered to serve us. We then decided to leave and still, they didn't even care that we walked out of the restaurant without ordering anything. Thanks First Class Pizza, I don't need to satisfy my cravings for pizza anyway! You lost one customer already not because of the pizza, but because your customer service sucks! If I could give 0 star, I would!

I really used to like this place however quality has changed over time. The pizza is more greasy than ever. Also most times I tell them my preference and I never receive it. For example of I want my pizza well done, it's not but a bit soggy. When I want less sausage, they give me more.

Very good pizza. We had a large group of approximately 15 people. There was plenty of seating on a Saturday late afternoon. We ordered 5 large pizzas which was more than enough food. The pizzas were huge. Loved the crust. They were just the right thickness and had appropriate ingredient to dough ratio. One of the members of our group only had a plug in phone charger and the staff there graciously let us plug the phone into their wall charger.

This review is based on a single take out pizza. Haven't been there in 10 years and decided "what the heck...let's see". I am amazed at how much business this place gets. I was NOT expecting "New York" or "Chicago" or even "woodfired". What I would have liked for $35 was...good pizza. You know, the kind where the toppings are cooked? Even Domino's can manage to cook onions on top of a pizza. What should have been a combo pizza was an undercooked pepperoni pizza with a warm salad of green peppers onions and mushrooms. Here is how I figure it works best at First Class Pizza: eat there. No take out. Get cheese pizza and drink lots of beer so you don't notice that you overpaid for crappy pizza. Or just go to one of the nearby woodfired pizza places in Westpark, Woodbridge or Spectrum.

I'm not the biggest fan of this place. I was really hoping I would like it because my boyfriend has ordered from here a bunch of times and loves it. The pizza always looked nice when he ordered it! So, he finally got me to try it. We got a large pizza-one half pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms for my boyfriend and onions and banana peppers on my half. The toppings are cut into giant pieces. One bite of my slice and it seemed like I ate an entire onion. (Not terrible since I happen to LOVE onions, but I would like to taste the rest of the pizza!) What I really didn't like about the pizza was that the crust was very doughy and almost like it wasn't cooked. It is also incredibly greasy. Just putting a slice of pizza on a plate and picking it up seemed like I dumped some oil all over the plate. Well, this place just isn't my cup of tea, but if you like pizza that has really doughy crust and a mouthful of toppings then maybe it is the right place for you!

Awesome Pizza! I have eaten FC pizza for the last 18 years all over OC. It's hard to eat any other Pizza places after you have FC Pizza. As for some of the people who complained about their prices, do you know how much rent the Irvine Co. charges the businesses here? $$$$....

Place left me rather disappointed. The customer service is friendly and the service is fast so no issues there. They are flexible as they will let you make half/half pizzas and split up the wing orders here.. But quality of food was pretty bad. Pizza toppings didn't seem high quality. Very tasteless and bland. Worst part was probably the wings. We ordered a few different kinds. Originally when I saw them they looked pretty good because they are really big. But they tasted awful and can tell that this was not fresh chicken they were using. It felt like genetically engineered chicken on steroids... in other words...looked great...tastes awful. Highly not likely to return. Papa Johns or Pizza Hut can beat this place in quality and cost...

Absolutely poor customer service. It took me 30mts to receive one sandwich and whenever i asked the teens who had absolutely no idea abt this stuff they kept saying its on its way. When I tried to give them some feedback one of the girls infact the only girl serving there told me to pick up from a subway next time. Poor experience.

We were really unhappy with the quality and taste of the pizza from this restaurant. We ordered a cheese pizza and the works pizza. The cheese was runny, seasoned with extra sodium, and the thin crust was heavily soaked with grease and flopped over like a sad whale's dorsal fin. The second star is for the convenience of online ordering and the lovely delivery person. Never again.

A little pricey but truly great pizza. The staff are friendly, the dining area is clean. Good selection of beer for a pizza joint. Bottom line: come by & try it. Give one of their specialty pizzas a shot. My husband & dad love the spicy southwestern. I am a fan if traditional pepperoni. You never have to ask for extra toppings because they don't scrimp.

So we ordered a large zesty Italian pizza and antipasta salad from First Class Pizza tonight. It took about 45 minutes for delivery, which seems reasonable for a weekend evening. The dough was a bit soggy, which we expected due to the wet bottom of the pizza box. The sauce was good and the pizza as a whole had quite a kick to it but it was a good amount of spiciness. The antipasta salad was fresh but there was minimal meat and cheese which was disappointing. The small salad was bigger than expected and can definitely feed more than 2 people as a side. Overall, it wasn't bad, but there are plenty of other places that are much better.

This is the best pizza in Irvine. Not the best pizza i've ever had, but the best you can get in this area. The crust does not taste like cardboard, the toppings are piled on there, and they are not stingy with their cheese. The sauce is a good mix of savory and sweet, not salty at all. Warning: this pizza place is incredibly expensive. In another city, you could get the same pizza for $5 less. Then again, if you live here you have to pay the Irvine city premium.

  • Stephanie L.

Love, love, love!! They pile on the toppings and I am OBSESSED with getting double the fresh garlic on my pizza (for free!), I'm a garlic fiend. I typically get a roma tomato and spinach pizza on thin crust. I just discovered their thin crust option recently, so I've had their regular crust which is just as fluffy and good. Their thin crust was crispy and great the first time I had it, however the second time I ordered it, it arrived super soggy and nearly impossible to eat...I wasn't very happy but I figured they must've been so busy because it was delivered during the rainy days we had. I'll give them another chance on the thin crust and update my review. Definitely worth the price here!

I ordered a large "Sweet Pig" pizza with extra sauce. It was exactly what I wanted. Plenty of pineapple and extra sauce just like I wanted but seldom have received at other pizza parlors. First Class came through. I used the $3 off coupon I received from their Facebook page to keep the price under $20. It was an excellent dinner for the family!

I'm pretty partial to Round Table, but I happened to be in the area and decided to give First Class a try. Ordered Thin Crust with Pepperoni + Minced Fresh Garlic. (Note: Garlic is a FREE topping) Man oh man!! The pizza was soooooooo good!! They dont skimp on the cheese or toppings and the garlic was an AMAZING added touch. I think I've been converted! I cant imagine going back to Round Table!! GO HERE!

What to grab for Super Bowl Sunday?! For all six of us, we got the barbeque chicken and the combo pizza. Both were really good and they were very generous with the toppings. Plenty of meat and more =). The dough part was pretty thick but good. They also gave us the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. My favorite pizza was the barbeque chicken. Soooo good! Overall, I was impressed. We all devoured it pretty quickly with all good things to say. This is our pizza spot when we are down in the area.

Disclaimer: I really like pizza so I could be extremely biased...like I will eat anythign that looks like a pizza. I honestly felt like this pizza was so frigging good. I didn't understand why people kept talking about the cheese, but once I got my pizza I understood what everyone else meant. It's just a bit different then what you order at Pizza Hut/Dominos (but to be fair I also love those joints as well...). The crust is nice and fluffy and the pizza came out so hot! Love that! A medium can be split between two hungry people. Maybe not two hungry men... That being said, the pizza is a bit pricey for just well, pizza. Also it took forever for the pizza to come out. But I did enjoy all the TV's that they had so it's definitely fun to come with friends (or enemies....) to eat and watch a game! It's so casual and I like that.

Yeah First Class isn't the cheapest pizza place but when something is really First Class; when is it? I love their pizza. It's well worth the price.

I LOVE first class pizza. I live in NYC, but every time I go to Irvine for a visit (which is at least twice a year) I insist we go here. I realize NYC is known for its pizza, but honestly, I haven't found anything like First Class. Maybe it's comfort food and a reminder of my childhood . . . was always a fan of Barro's pizza in the Walnut Center. The pizza sauce is so flavorful and zesty.

I can't understand why this place has high reviews. I paid $43 for xlarge "Combo" pizza and large antipasta salad. I'm not sure if the way the pizza was made tonight is normal but they baked a pepperoni and cheese pizza in the oven and then after taking it out of the oven. .. piled on top cold chopped bell pepper, cold chopped red onion, cold raw mushrooms that are to large and large pieces of precooked italian sausage. Then tried to warm it up in the oven again, but the toppings were still slightly cold when I picked up the order. When you try to pick up each piece of pizza all of the toppings fall off because they were not cooked all together with the cheese to hold the toppings onto the pizza. If you understand how great pizza is made, you have no business wasting your time and money at this place. And those of you who want to claim i'm an idiot. .. go ahead. .. but remember. ..to take a fork with you next time you go to First Class Pizza so you can eat all of the raw toppings that fall off your expense cheese pizza.

I am from Chicago and I love good Pizza. I looked at what was around me and this was the closest. I tried the veggie Pizza and it turned out pretty good. The pizza was soft and had the right balance of cheese and vegetables. The crust was nice. I will definitely give this place another try.
