Good food. Good service. Nice hole in the wall. Good for family or a date. Went on a Sunday and only one waitress so be patient. Hehe. But she looked good and we nice :)

Amazing and authentic thai food! Pad Thai was to die for. Service was extremely kind. This Thai Plate feels comfortable, definitely going back.

Very good Thai food in Inglewood! Been here a few times, never disappoints, and the prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly, and the food comes out pretty quick. They also have lunch specials.

I came home from work feeling a sore throat coming on. And while I waited the lady brought me some hot tea...great service! Made a day that wasn't looking so great, much better.

TALK ABOUT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ordered Noodle Supreme which is ONLY listed on the vegetarian menu on the back. When they delivered we received chicken noodles. I called to tell them about the mistake and was first blamed for the mistake, stating that " I did not tell them that I wanted vegetarian". I stated that this item was ONLY listed on the vegetarian menu. This conversation ended with her saying that THIS TIME she was going to apologize and send the CORRECT item, "but next time say Vegetarian". So before hanging up I confirm that she indeed was sending the correct item, she says yes. 45minutes+ pass, I call back to check on the delivery and right away she begins to argue with me before getting my name or what I was calling about. Of course come to find out she thought I was someone else calling about another issue, smh. Anyways, come to find out they never placed the correct order nor had they ever intended to. She tells me that they are busy and if I wanted the vegetarian Noodle Supreme I would have to come pick it up and pay the difference. Ultimately this place isn't worth the headache and the food is OK at best. I will definitely NOT be ordering from here again. If I coukd give this place a negative star I would.

I tried something quite out of my comfort zone, and was quite surprisingly delicious. Our server called me handsome and skinny, haha going back when I can.

Delicious... Its our first choice in the area. They treat you like family. The place it self isn't fancy but their food is spectacular. They are excellent with time. Time is important for us since we have a tight schedule. Their rates are great too.

We ordered food for delivery from this place. After waiting 20 minutes past the 40-45 minute wait we were told on the phone, I called asking about the order. The woman I talked to said it had just been sent out. I waited another 20 minutes (I'm 2 miles away) before calling again. This time the woman said 5-10 minutes. 2 hours and 30 minutes after ordering I've given up on getting any food this evening

Ordered a curry, they asked if I wanted it medium or spicy. I said medium. It was colon-blistering hot. Yet the blend of spices seemed to be good. Will go back to try a different curry. And if I get large slivers of jalepeno in there disguised as bell pepper, complete with all the seeds, I will point them out and say, "This is not medium."

Going to the LA Forum and needed to get a quick dinner. This place is totally random and in the middle of goodness knows. But this place is super delicious. All the dishes we had was amazing and perfectly thai. The service was the really great and we had our dinner on time! What a nice place you've got here in Inglewood.

I just found this place tonight on the way back from the beach to my grandparents house. I'm not from this area, so I am not familiar with most of the restaurants around here. I love Thai food, and found this little hole in the wall, and decided to try it on a whim. I was very satisfied with my meal, I ordered the pad Thai, and it was delicious. They also gave me these little fried wontons stuffed with meat that were fantastic. The price was average take out/sit down restaurant. I will definitely visit this place again, next time I am in town.

While staying in Inglewood near the airport, I decided to try this place because they offered delivery to my hotel and I didn't have a car. The woman who took my order on the phone was helpful and courteous. Although I had to wait a little longer than I had hoped for delivery, it was well worth it! When my food arrived it was still piping hot and everything was delicious! My spring rolls were great (not over fried and greasy like most places), while my fried rice dish was perfection. Again, I am not sure what their service is like dining in, but if you want a great take-out joint and you are in the area try this place out!

My boyfriend and I are fond of trying new things so we ordered Delivery from here. I loved it! We had spring rolls, Pad Ze-Ew noodles, Teriyaki Chicken, and Fried Bananas! Their Shirley Temples are the best! That day was the start of having a love for Shirley Temples. No restaurant compares to this one when it comes down to Shirley Temples :O

My company buys us lunch and every week we have at least one restaurant that has the word THAI in it. When I get that 11am phone call and hear that first word and PLATE after it, I smile just a bit. I'm not sure if I'm only giving this place 4-stars because they have tons of veggie options and they never get my order wrong or if the other "THAI" restaurants are just that bad. I'm not even sure any of these restaurants are even serving Thai food.

So, my friend ordered a bunch of food from here for her house-warming party. My favorite would have to be their fried wontons, dipped in that sweet&sour sauce, it was A-MA-ZING =d! Then again, I have a soft spot for fried things ;P Their pad thai was really good, both the chicken and shrimp one. The first piece of bbq pork rib was good but the ones after that were a tad overcooked. Went again for my friend's birthday and this time actually in the restaurant. The restaurant is kind of tiny with one bathroom in the back o.o;; The people were nice =) Lemonade was much too tart. I had no idea what I was eating because my friend ordered it all XD My friend Kyle LOVED their fried rice. Couldn't get enough of it. This time, I just thought their food was okay, I guess I'm not used to all the tartness of the Thai dishes =T But with their prices and yummyness of the other dishes...=d

Good Ol' trusty Thai Plate. This here is my ol' stand by for when I don't feel like cooking, have unexpected guest and whenever I'm in the mood for great Thai food. There food is always fresh and piping hot when it's served. I mainly order for delivery which is super fast. They always say 30-40 mins but next thing I know, I'm getting a knock at the door 15-30 mins later with a smiling delivery guy. The portions are more than enough and I truly enjoy all of their noodles, rices and seafood dishes. They Angel wings and fresh spring rolls are a must try. I'm most def a fan. :)

I absolutely love this place! I always have my food delievered and they are always nice and pleasant. I order their pai thai noodles with chicken, spicy rice with chicken, chicken skewers, spring rolls and of course my free order of wontons! This is one of the best thai spots I've been to and I eat a lot of Thai (and other Asian) food. What a wonderful gem in Inglewood!

Fellow yelpers rated this place well, so I bit. I failed to see the negative reviews which is to my errors. Also, a neighbor said it was good and that he ordered either the BBQ Chicken or Chicken Satay House Specials (which came with Shrimp Fried Rice). Being on the Pad Thai kick I've been on lately, I rushed over here for lunch today. Their lunch specials are only from 11-2:30 and I got lucky enough to get here @2:15. The restaurant was completely empty except for the four employee's seated to eat their lunch. The pretty young waitress came to seat us. Its an older building, but they've tried to dress it up a little. What appealed to me was that it has a certain homey charm to it. I ordered L-11 Pad Thai Chicken L-12 Chow Mein Chicken. I started to order a Thai Tea, but thought I would wait. After ordering I noticed there was a table that still had a plate and a few glasses on it. One appeared to be Thai Tea, as it was 3/4 filled with orange color liquid. This made me worry that perhaps it was not that good. After all, why pay $2.00 for a tea and leave it? I should have noticed that as another sign though. There was no interest in cleaning the table quickly. They were more interested in eating lunch. I normally have no problem with that, except that they were not very interested in making my lunch either. The cute waitress shortly came back with two plates of salad. The salad consisted of a very good portion of iceberg lettuce(about 2 cups+) and a maroon colored dressing. I was worried about the dressing, but it tasted really good. It had a definite peanut flavor that I liked. I would have enjoyed the salad more if they had throw a few onions or something else. It was sorely missing something. A few minutes late my Pad Thai came out. The Chow Main followed in less than a few minutes. My first impression. No Lime on my plate, instead an orange slice(garnish maybe?). Second impression was that the noodles looked really small. I took a bite and it was... meh. Didnt really taste like Pad Thai. It tasted like some trainee just threw it together. The chicken had a taste like it was almost off. Did not taste rancid, but it did not taste fresh either. The thing that pissed me off the most was that the noodles were not rice noodles. They were RAMEN noodles. The Chow Main plate had a good flavor (better than mine) Same problem though, it had RAMEN noodles. Now the kid loves ramen noodles. But this is a $7.00 dish. We tried to eat it, but the more I ate it, the worse it started tasting. They were really soft noodles to start off with. The lunch came with a large scoop of rice and a small egg-roll. The egg-roll was generic/nothing special with a very weird liquid dipping sauce that tasted like vinegar. I felt the portion was small for the price. After about three min, the noodles were mush, and they stuck together in tangerine sized clumps. It was disgusting at that point. I really hate to return things, I feel so cheap doing that. I felt worse staying there though. I waited and waited for the waitress to come over. She never came back to check on us. I waited 5 then came over to get her. I showed her the food and how it had wrong noodles, showed her where the tofu and egg pieces were burned. She asked if I wanted them to remake it. I figure if they cant make it right the first time, how well are they going to do it the next? Maybe doing something with it for revenge? They obviously were more interested in their lunch than mine. All the food THEY had looked really good. I told her I didn't want anything. I told the kid he could eat his if he wanted it, but he shook his head and said "no" (that surprised me as this kid would eat noodles out of a hairy armpit.). I threw a dollar down on the table to try to relieve my guilt. I wont be back.

First of all I have to say that I really like that this place delivers. It may not be the best Thai food around, but we are lazy asses in this house and delivery ranks high. Secondly, they always throw something in for free like fried wontons or a drink or something. Free stuff also ranks high here. We pretty much always order the same thing which is the combination fried rice, the appetizer platter, and the pad se ew. All of these dishes are pretty good.

  • Diane P.

Expensive for the portion size and quality of ingredients. They use the nastiest pieces of chicken. It's like they only buy partially edible chicken scraps. The pad Thai was unlike any pad Thai I've ever had. It was pretty bland and the noodles were not normal pad thai noodles. $25 for a small serving of pad thai and a regular serving size tub of tom kha gai! i'm pretty sure they charged me for the wontons they said were "free" because my delivery was an HOUR late. I won't be ordering from here ever again, no matter how desperate I am for delivery.

This is one of the best "hole in the wall" Thai places I've found in the South Bay area. The food is fantastic- particularly the Pad Thai and Red Curry (they are so good, in fact, that I have yet to try anything else!). Note: the Pad Thai is made slightly differently than you're probably used to: thinner noodles (NOT ramen noodles as some people are saying), and a slightly sweet taste, but can still be made spicy (which I recommend). While the combination of sweet and spicy may not sound like your typical Pad Thai, it works in a way that is almost magical. This is the BEST Pad Thai I've had ANYWHERE- HANDS-DOWN. And I eat a lot of Thai food. Check it out - yes it's a hole in the wall, but it's clean, inexpensive, service is friendly, and the food is EXCELLENT. That's what counts, isn't it?

We ordered for delivery from this place. I had the Kung Pao shrimp (yes, I know -- not Thai). The rice and the sauce were fantastic, but the shrimp was really lacking. They left the tails on, which sucked, because I had to pull them off with my fingers (gross when trying to just eat and they are covered in sauce). I might give them another chance, but I'll try it with beef or chicken next time.

Update in May 2014: This place has gone completely downhill. They've messed up my order 4 out of the last 4 times - always in their favor. They've put in 25% meat and 75% skin in my duck curry. Shady way to give more duck meat to your friends and short other customers. There was duck skin from many pieces of meat, but the meat wasn't there. The food has also been cold on arrival. Warm on the outside and cold on the inside. Finally, their curries and noodle dishes appear to be premade and not fresh - they can't (or won't) make any modifications to them - they always refuse and I suspect it's because all their food is made ahead of time and just reheated. That's the only way it makes sense to me. Good flavor, good service, thumbs up on the freebies, and the Thai tea is strong (not watered down like some places). They've made a repeat customer out of me. The portions were a lot bigger than I expected and the Nam Sod was delicious!

Ordered food for delivery. Was told it would take 40 mins but food arrived earlier than I expected and still hot! Soup was excellent and so were the lunch specials, very tasty. My delivery guy was very friendly. Will order again, great prices and awesome food!

  • Amanda B.

i think that the guy who accused them of using ramen was a tad on point. They definitely were not the noodles I am used to. I wish they could spice up their yellow curry, but it was good (potatoes were a little undercooked). The pad thai was a little too sweet and after sitting on my table for 10 min, was completely stuck together. I had to eat it in chunks...because they used the wrong noodles. Meh...if i eat there again, it will only be because I want thai and I am too lazy to leave to get it.

I will never be coming back here or will tell my friends to come here. Worst customer service ever. This place is shady. I went to lunch with a co-worker and we walked in and didn't even get menus. I had to get my own menus. We finally ordered and it took 15 minutes to get our water. It wasn't even crowded. There was just one other table besides us. We waited 40 minutes and still didn't get our food. She finally gave us a salad that was just lettuce and dressing. I couldn't wait any longer for my lunch. I asked the waitress how much longer. She finally comes back and says the gas isn't working which I didn't understand because she was placing orders on the phone and the table beside us got there food. It would have been nice to tell us that the stove was having trouble ahead of time so we didn't have to wait there thinking our food was coming. I was so mad. Never coming back here again. If you want good service don't come here.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was a little girl and have loved it. Through the years I have developed and appreciated new flavors as well as the culture. This place really rocks!!!! The food is really authentic, the owner really friendly and their Pad Thai is amazing!!!! One time I order a duck curry and was a not a big fan since it was really spicy. So be careful what you order.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I work for UPS and we really don't have much time to get a good lunch (30 min. break). Thai Plate has saved us!!! They usually deliver our food steaming hot in about 30 minutes and the best thing is .... IT'S DELICIOUS!!!!! Some of our addictions include the beef prik khing, spicy mint leaves with chicken, pepper steak, and any of their curry dishes!!!! The price is AMAZING and the portions are just right!!!

Pad Thai Here is excellent. Everything else is.... I felt like I was in Thailand when I got seated. It is HOT! No A.C.

Thanks Thai Plate for the delivery! Fried glass noodle with shrimp, spicy eggplant, and the Tom kha soup were all good. Wouldn't say they're the best, but I want to give positive feedback because I appreciate them being able to deliver food to my area, which is rare! $2 delivery fee

I'm bummed to be giving this place a 2 star review. Until about an hour ago I would have given these guys 4 stars. My coworkers and I have been driving from our job on Van Ness and Manchester to this location just to get food for a while now. They remember us every time and once the lady suggested I ask for delivery next time. I thought we were too far but she said, "for you, we'll do it," implying they would do is a favor for being regulars. I just called and asked if they would deliver to the Western and 111th area. Again he said, "for you, we'll do it," and I even texted the address to a number as requested. When the delivery arrived and we went to pay, before we even had a chance to make the exchange, the driver said, "and where's my tip??!" We were shocked at the rudeness. We appreciated the "special" treatment but begging for a tip immediately was too rude to be expected. The food here is great, but the rudeness is just unnecessary for this world. Definitely loses on customer interaction.

I really enjoyed the food. I had satay chicken with shrimp fried rice. The manager who was a lady was very nice and suggested that I try this because I get more food for a few bucks more. The food is cooked to order. It's very fresh. She also stated that they deliver your order to your homes. She walked me to the door and said thank you and bring your family tio

They have a Visa & MasterCard sign, but when you go up to pay the bill, they won't take card. Cash only. Oh, and parking sucks.

This is my second time ordering from this place and my absolute last. I ordered through grubhub and made the exact same order I had previously. The first time was a hit but this time was a miss that can't be made up for.The food is absolutely disgusting!!!!!! The orange chicken is just a fried coating with an orange tint I guess is supposed to be sauce(NOT) my five year old daughter ate a bite of the shrimp fried rice and said that it had NO flavor and she was completely right! Even the Thai iced tea was a disappointment. The pad Thai is at least edible but I'll be leaving this for the alley cats. No Bueno. 35 dollars down the drain!!!!

The best Thai food ever.... I absolutely love the food and staff .... Ya is the sweetest !!!

  • Cece R.

I ordered my food at 8:06 PM the lady who answered who took my order said that my food what it would arrive in 20 to 45 minutes in actuality it took an hour and 15 minutes to arrive once my food was here and I opened The bag it was somebody else's completely different order! After waiting an hour and 15 minutes I think they would get my order correct! I had to call the driver and the driver return with that my CORRECT order! I asked for extra lime for my spicy noodles but didn't even get one lime!!!! I would never order from this place again! I ordered the shrimp fried rice and orange chicken for my husband and the orange chicken was dry as hell! So disappointed!

I literally live two blocks away from this place. Some of the people I talk with would always yap about how good this place was. I went in finally a couple month ago and oh my was I dissatisfied. They're famous seafood soup was a disaster seriously. They put a whole tomato in there soup A WHOLE TOMATO!!! Smh anyway it's expensive as well and oh my wait till you read this they are soooo rude about their tips oh my God I was not even done paying and that lady was like Where's my tip??? I need a tip oh gosh I just left a tip cause I just felt bad for her anyway good luck if you go but I warned you

Finally! Thai food that I like in Inglewood. Ordered carry-out tonight. Ginger Pepper Chicken, Mixed Vegetables, Thai Toast and my fave Thai Ice Tea. Everything was tasty. Little gem in the hood. P.S. Don't judge a book (or a restaurant) by its cover.

    (4)
  • Rebecca G.

Ordered Tom kha soup and wontons. This is the first time I try this soup but it has a spicy flavor to it. It was really good but prefer the traditional one. Wontons did not have a lot of chicken. Overall place is good and service is good.

  • Jen D.

The place is small, but it's a good place to be with family. We ordered the vegetarian hot & sour soup. It had a lot of flavor mixed with a good spice. My mom ordered the veggie spring roll and she really liked it esp with the dipping sauce. The Thai fried rice & the chicken larb was bomb. I should've asked for the larb to be spicier ha. Thank god they got a spice rack. ;p My dad ordered the seafood pad Thai. Honestly I'm not a big fan of pad Thai because is super sweet, but my dad said it was okay. They had too much sauce.

  • Felicia F.

I love love love this place. I order delivery all the time. I have Thai family and most of the time what most people consider good isn't really authentic or as good as it could be. I always get their Tom Kah, Tom Yum or a curry and then something else. I've never been disappointed. Ah mazing! Not to mention how wonderful the people are. It's just icing on the cake!

    (5)
  • Brittani N.

The reason why I am giving this place 5 stars because the food is DELICIOUS! You CANT go by how the outside of the restaurant or how the neighborhood looks my family and I have been coming here for over 10 years. The food has tasted the same and has been consistent though the years as well. Although there is a language barrier sometimes the employees are so pleasant. Don't knock the Thai plate

  • Amy G.

I remember coming in when I was younger with my family and I used to love it! When I came in today I was disappointed! The customer service was horrible. They gave us the wrong dishes and the wrong drinks. The hot and sour veggie soup was delicious, but the thai yellow chicken curry was gross! Doubt I'll be coming back.

Got the drunken noodles and red thai curry - were as good as it tastes everywhere else. Nice spot.

Great place and food to dine in but for take out total fail =( First time I dine it everything was delicious, great service too! Second time ordered take out and food wasn't the best er and they forgot some items too.

  • Hilda H.

Food is ok, I expected better with all the hype in the reviews. Ordered fried rice with my big order, the rice had no taste and it came with 1 shrimp. The Orange chicken was mostly veggies and small pieces of shreded chicken (like 4 teenie weenie pieces of chicken). But overall edible if you are starving. I might return if I'm in the area but will not drive from Torrance to Inglewood for that.

    (3)
  • Derek F.

They're delivery is total bullshit. I ordered $23 worth of food and they said $20 BEFORE TAX. That's like $30 to deliver. I only live a block away so *insert middle finger here*

  • Charlotte M.

The food is an absolute galore! My boyfriend and I went twice and we seized to be disappointed. We've tried their pad thai, salmon bbq, fried shrimp, and salmon curry on both trips. I am a pescetarian, so for u veggie heads and sea heads, this place is the PLACE TO BE. However, they do have plenty of other dishes for u carnivores as well. Definitely a 5 star in my Book. The waitresses are attentive and very friendly.

Let me start off by saying I have thai food at least twice a week, so I've seen it done really right and really wrong. My husband and I came here during Christmas time and it was his first time finally trying thai food. This place is the best thai food restaurant I've ever been to. The food was great, but the point I want to make in this review is the customer service is out of this world exceptional. We were the only people there cause we went pretty late at night, but our server Sudkanung was the sweetest most loving person. Her personality literally made our night. She was funny and helped my husband find his way around the menu since it was his first time. She even hugged us goodbye. We love you Sudkanung!!!!!!

Very I disappointed, I eat Thai very often and this by far my least favorite place. I got the spicy noodles and the noodles are flavorless, thy were half under cooked and half burned. They threw some random broccoli in there and normal spicy noodle does not come with that. The chicken was awful and at some point I felt like a chewed on something that tastes like soap. And I'm not giving them one star only because the spicy noodle is the only thing I have and will ever try at this place. I will not be back.

I ordered thru grub hub a bunch of stuff. Placed my order at 6:49pm on a Friday it arrived at 830pm cold. I'm not sure who to blame for that but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and just heat it up a bit. Well..... This shit was whack! No flavor at all. Bland combo rice, bland pad thai, bland garlic chicken. I can't figure out how this place is even a business. $40 worth of food in the trash! Oh, and the pad thai noodles looked like spaghetti noodles and the chicken was mushy almost mealy like. Just disgusting.. Don't waste your money here it's substandard food. Ugh!!!!

Ordered shrimp chow mein , fresh spring rolls, and a side of fried rice (added shrimp so it was a dollar more)..Delivery time was good..maybe even a few minutes early..Quality of food seems pretty good..fresh spring rolls say they come with shrimp but i really dont see or taste any within..still good regardless..Added shrimp to the fried rice for an extra dollar and they only added ONE shrimp..was definitely disappointed there...Overall pretty good..pricing not too bad

15min purchase with card purchase. Not the business! The pad Thai are actually glass noodle. I was hungry when I came here: 8hrs w/o eating and the food was okay. The egg rolls were plain, they also had glass noodles . the curry was also a small serving especially for the price. Customer service was poor. I felt like a customer not a guest. They were very pushy to sell and made the customer service poor.

food was pretty good, when we first came in and said we would dining in, she seemed disappointed. Service was lackluster. Fish in fish tank seemed to be starving, although I saw a couple of slices of cucumber tossed in there.

The Thai Plate is a really good restaurant. The menu is extensive and Service is good. The staff is friendly. The portions are generous and the food is excellent. I have been going there for years and it is still the same owners. try it you'll love it. do you have somebody arriving at LAX? Stop by on your way home from the airport take out is available.

The seafood was fake imitation meat...except for the skinny crab legs....The shrimp fried rice had 2 shrimps, maybe 1 egg, and a shit load of plain white rice....The orange chicken had great flavor, but no damn meat...ALL FRY BATTER!!! This will NOT be a repeat for my wife and I!!! Oh, they are waaay overpriced too!!!

Save your money this place is horrible. Orange chicken had no chicken. It's over priced for the portions they give you. Also, I ordered for pickup and they got my order wrong. I will never go back to this place.

horrible experience! the delivery lady really asked me for a 5 dollar tip as I was walking away, besides the fact that I got charged for delivery, and that the minimum was 25 dollars before tax..so yeah do the math...totally not worth it...I've had much better Thai food and for way better prices...I am done with my food, but I am still extremely un satisfied and in shock she asked me for tip.

I have been coming here for a little over a year now. The items I have tried are spot on and very delicious. The staff is very welcoming :) Items I have tried here are : The Seafood Soup, which is delicious and they give generous portions of seafood (tip: get it non spicy and order the spice on the side by doing so you will avoid an overly salty soup because the pepper they add is salty). I've had the fried tofu pad Thai and it is sensational, the Spicy seafood Rice is finger licking goodness! Their garlic shrimp is great along with their chicken curry plates in all this place has not disappointed thus far.

I should've saved my coins and went to Mcdonalds instead. I purchased the red curry lunch plate and it was quite lower than my expectations. Did not enjoy my meal and half of it went to the trash.

Eek! Methinks Not is an understatement. I've been to Thailand many many times and this was absolutely the WORST Thai Food I have ever eaten!!! We ordered the "golden cups" appetizer to start. It was these little fried cups filled with nasty frozen peas and carrots sprinkled with ground peanuts. WTH? Terrible! I really wanted curry, however most of the dishes had frozen peas and carrots in them! ?????? Frozen peas and carrots in Thai food???? The stir fries didn't come with much vegetables either. I don't think they wanted to invest in fresh produce. We did get the seafood soup and it was OK. Unfortunately by the time we got home my husband had a horrible stomach ache and had to rush to the restroom. I finally settled on the vegetarian red curry that came with tofu and eggplant. The dish came and the first thing I noticed was that the curry sauce had little bubbles in it. It was very thin. The plate consisted of Tough fried tofu and an enormous quantity of chewy yucky eggplant. There were maybe 2 or 3 thin strips of a green pepper and THAT WAS IT! I took a few bites and my stomach turned. The steamed rice that came with it had obviously been sitting for hours. It was cold, dry, and crunchy. To make matters worse, our server argued with us about the quality of the food. She refused to take the curry off of our check! Hubby refused to pay for it. we were going to pay with a credit card but were absolutely NOT going to give them our credit card! We only had a $100 bill and we were absolutely NOT going to hand that over to them either! I had to sit and wait while my husband went off to find change. The whole time I sat and waited I was alone in the restaurant. Our server tried to tell me she had to pay for the curry, which I don't believe. She said it was fine and would not stop talking! Please do not waste your time and money at this restaurant. I have never had such horrible Thai food anywhere in the world!!!!!!!

I should have read reviews before coming here at least I would have saved money and gone somewhere else, blandest food I have had in my life!!! Ordered the crab fried rice because it is one of my favorite dishes at restaurants but I could not believe the quality of the food. It was terrible!!! the fried rice was just soy sauce over plain white rice and an egg on top, this should not be considered fried rice because it wasn't even fried!!! Tasted other dishes on the menu but this place lacks flavor if you want good Thai food don't come here. Utensils and plates were dirty upon arrival also

Thai Plate is a small restaurant and doesn't look as if the food would be so special. But once you try it, you will not be able to stop eating it. The kung pao chicken is delicious! It's definitely a must-have :)

Overcooked, flavorless and bland (despite my ordering "Hot"), uninspired and just plain BAD. I should know; I lived in Thailand for a year. I'm kinda thinkin' the chef must be NOT Thai and seriously underpaid. Please give the guy a raise! Otherwise, I'm afraid that it will be the end user that cries "Poor us!" :(( (aka seriously sad face).

Once again i'm eating close to the street, and since there is construction on Hawthorne the cars are forced to drive riight by this place...so close i yelled out to a driver...."Hey!! your check engine light is on!".... Ok, so park in the back, they have a small lot that was scary to go to at night even with my awesome body guard. At first glance of the menu I was disapointed because I saw Orange Chicken listed....maybe i'm just ill informed and orange chicken is a Thai dish? 8o/ From the menu it seemed as if we walked into a chinese restaurant untill i found the curry section. I ordered Yellow Thai Curry and my SO had BBQ Chicken with Shrimp fried rice. When the food arrived first thing that impressed us was the portion size, he got 5 pcs of chicken and it and the rice were both flavorful and delicious. My curry (which i ordered NOT spicy was delicious and filling. We topped that off with 2 Thai teas. They did not have as many "Authentic Thai Dishes' as I would have liked but the food was good, reasonably priced, and staff was friendly. We'll go back

Thai Plate is a casual Thai restaurant in Inglewood that seems out of place among the neighboring taco stands and car lots. This is one of the best Thai places I've found in the South Bay area. The authentic food is very good- particularly the seafood and curry dishes. It's not the fanciest restaurant in the best location, but the quality of the food makes it one of the best, and the wait staff is super friendly! Yesterday's early take-out dinner: Pad Thai - $8.95 I usually can't resist the pad thai, which is very close to perfection. Narrow rice noodles tossed with egg, delicious and succulent shrimp, peanuts, kaffir lime, sugar, and a kiss of tamarind. Unlike many other imitations, the pad thai at Thai Plate is exploding with flavors. Spicy Green Chicken Curry - $8.95 Served with a heaping bowl of sticky white rice, the chicken and bamboo shoots with green curry is an absolute must-try for both first-timers and aficionados alike. Distinct from other curries because of the sweetness of the coconut milk and the fragrance of the basil leaves added at the end of the cooking, this aromatic dish packs a tangy and wonderful heat that brings just the right amount of sweat to your brow. Be sure to specify to your server the desired degree of spice, but do not be frightened by the zip. Highly recommend if you are in the area. Jermaine J. said it best, "What a wonderful gem in Inglewood! "

I ordered delivery from here and needless to say I won't be doing that again. I got the yellow curry and it was not only the most disgusting curry I ever had, it is in the running for the most foul thing I've ever eaten. I'm actually under the belief that the chicken in it was spoiled because the entire dish tasted rancid. I took two hesitant bites and threw it out because it tasted faintly of feet dipped in vinegar someone cleaned their toilet with. On the positive side, the fried wontons and thai ice tea were good.

This place is no longer on my list. Came here today for lunch, but didn't eat. My co-worker and I stopped by for lunch. We placed our order within 5 minutes of arriving. 10 minutes goes by. No food on our table. Just glasses of ice water. Another 10 minutes goes by and still no food. We ask the waitress about our order. She didn't give a straight answer. Went to check on our order. The other table (and we were the other one that was there). so a total of 2 tables so it's not busy. she finally comes back and tells us that they have any issue with the gas to the stove and that we weren't going to get our order on time before we had to go back to work. WTH? took that long to tell us? while still taking orders over the phone as if there was no issue in the kitchen. be back for a second chance? NO! i have a thing about places with bad customer service.
