We ordered a party pizza. 1/2 mushroom pepper ham pineapple 1/2 bacon garlic tomato artichoke It was turkey bacon. I don't mind at all. Delivery was quite prompt and the size fed me plus three others. I also had 4 leftover slices next day to share with another. Would/will totally order from here again. Nothing here will make you feel any type of way. It's just nice to get a basic/well done pizza and be done with it. Thanks.

This place is horrible. I called in to place an order & a little 12 yr old kid answers the phone and takes my order. I ordered a King Kong pizza & 2 mins later I ordered another pizza. All under the same name. I go there to pick it up and they say they only have one order of my pizza for me. And I said where's my other pizza? "He said "i don't know! You never ordered it" I know what I ordered, maybe if a little boy wasn't working the phones & taking orders we wouldn't have this issue. And he said I'll make another pizza for you... I said what about my King Kong, it's gonna get cold... He says so? I laughed, I told him that he has the worst customer service & that I'll never return to this place ever again. I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT COME HERE TO EAT, VERY RUDE & UNPLEASANT VIBE HERE.

AMAZING PIZZA! If you haven't tried this pizza, then go right now. My family usually gets 1 or 2 of the King Kong pizzas. They are huge! The slices are long and big, and one of these can probably feed 5-6 people! This place normally sends out a door tag to the neighborhoods around and they have specials going on all the time and also have free delivery! This location is kinda in the ghetto part of hayward so do not come alone at night!

On 8/1/2015 10:18 pm a kid took my order over the phone. He professional and he was listening to everything that I would say come here repeat the order back to me at the end and confirm what I wanted the way you supposed to take the order over the phone. Waited one hour for my pizza to arrive when I got my order was really hungry rushed inside to start my meal, as soon as I open the box I know there was something wrong with the pizza. Artichoke heart or 2 inches long and 8 inch wide, I ordered barbecue wings in the wings were not even cooked with no sauce. I called right away this grown man answer the phone, made my complain he asked me to call tomorrow to talk to the manager. I simply asked him what am I going to eat for a dinner? His smart wants to be reply was"you don't have a heater to heat it up?" First of all you don't heat up food in the heater, so I can show some respect for your customer that's the reason you're working there. And stop teaching people common sense when you're talking nonsense my friend. I paid your business $30 so I can have some peaceful meal while I'm home exhausted from work. But thanks to the employees of the month for New York pizza I didn't. I should've not ordered anything form them since I saw employees in slippers, driver coming back from delivery and handles food without clean hands, zero customers service, zero respect to customers like they don't know what pizza and wings are like. Hopefully the management fix this for your business sake and the loyal customers. Good luck!

Got a flyer on my door, well now I know that's a sign they need business bc they suck! Called in for delivery of 2 pizzas at 8 pm. Guy on the phone sounded new or just dumb. He tells me it'll be 35-40 minutes. Ok no problem. At 9 pm, still no pizza. So I call and the same guy who took my order says the guy "should be there, I mean, I don't know what else to tell you." SERIOUSLY BRO!? I get in the car to drive down to ensure my card was refunded (my bf read earlier yelp reviews while we were waiting & told me other people had problems with this place refunding/overcharging) so as I get in the car, magically the delivery guy arrives. No apologies= no tip in my book. Pizza was cold. Crust sucks. Never ordering from here again.

The deliverey guy was very nice. My order was a little off, I ordered cheese ravioli, they called and said they didn't have it, so I asked for tortellini instead, I got chicken ravioli. It tasted good but I really wasn't in the mood for chicken. I also ordered a cheesecake, it was frozen. I would give more stars if the order was right and the desert wasn't frozen, but what I did get was tasty.

Home for King Kong pizza.. Their pizza was huge, it was big enough to feed 8 persons. Good taste & quality. In one sentence "yummy full and tummy full". I loved them, try New York pizza u'll also love them.

The absolute worse place. Worst food and worst management. We go there and order a large pizza and BBQ wings. We try to pay and there's a little kid taking payments while three guys are on their phones. The kid runs the card and says declined. Then I try my debit card and it "didn't go through" once and the little kid swiped it again and it worked. So pizza comes and I go up there asking for the wings and he says oh 5 more minutes. They forgot the wings. So after 15 minutes and when we are full because we ate the whole pizza he brings the wings. Then today I check my bank statements and I see 3 different charged. I call them up and they are no help. What they do is bad business and I'm pretty sure I wasn't only victim of this fraud. I am disputing transactions and will talk to my lawyer see what are my options. Never again.

I bet every single person that gave this place a good review has never ordered their pizza and watched them make it. They don't use gloves. They will touch money, phone, counter tops, their face and YES your food with their bare hands. I took my pizza and threw it in the trash I didn't event want to get into it with the unprofessional people that work here who were talking about customers as soon as they got off the phone with them.

I love this place! The pizza is always excellent. The staff is ok, they are always having lengthy conversations amongst each other, even when there are customers in line. Sometimes you just want to jump over the counter and grab whatever it is you need yourself. I usually change my pizza type but always order with light cheese, well done so it comes out nice and crispy. The seating are is usually not that clean. But these kind of places sell the best tasting food. Also the seating are is very outdated. Everything just looks so old, including there TV. Time for an upgrade!! I would give the pizza 5 stars The service 3 stars The dining area 3 stars

My boss usually orders from here once a week to feed everyone that stayed to work late, which is really nice of him. He usually orders: King Kong pizza- Humongous and greasy, it's nothing spectacular but it isn't bad either. Cheesysticks- not sure if that's what they're called, but that's what he asks for when he calls lol. These are my fave. Gooey cheese with garlic flavor, yum. Wings- they're your usual wings not bad, just meh. Service- whoever answers the phone doesn't have the best personality, sometimes they sound downright rude. But given the fact that their King Kong pizza is really cheap I guess we just accept it lol. They've always delivered in a timely manner, never had a problem!

    (3)
  • A Y.

These guys need a lesson on how to speak to your customers. When you answer the phone, do not start with "what do you want on your pizza" and when customers ask about certain toppings, answer the questions instead of getting frustrated. There are dozens of other alternatives, you need to learn manners and learn how to not piss off potential customers. Pizza here sucks too, horrible and bland. STAY AWAY!!!! NOT WORTH IT

Sooooo GOOD! My fiancé and I were craving pizza, good pizza, we gave this place a try and so glad we did. Ordered the large 1/2 cheese 1/2 afghan style-wow!! As my fiancé said, it's the best pizza he's ever had and he's a foodie. $22.00 including delivery.

  • Khesraw N.

Afghan style pizza, beef pepperoni for us Muslims. Sometimes it's amazing sometimes it's not. 3 stars for being inconsistent, they've put way too much sauce on my pizza before and not enough cheese. Their estimated time sucks, they told me 20 mins one time and my pizza wasn't ready for 45 mins. Their customer service could be better also, it seems as if they're much ruder to the afghan customers. Surprising because it's afghan owned. I wouldn't eat here either, tables aren't the cleanest and chairs are greasy.

"How can you go wrong with pizza?" My sister asked rhetorically as we were both chowing down on a yummy cheese and artichoke pie at Woodstock's Pizza in Isla Vista yesterday. I caught myself before I could blurt out "that's true," recalling that not too long ago, somebody DID go wrong with pizza. And we were the victims of that wrongdoing. It was the end of July, during the last week of Ramadan. I told my mom to take a break from cooking one day and picked up the phone to order a couple of pies from this place at the behest of my mom, who eats halal and prefers their pizza because up until now she believed it to be a halal joint. I personally prefer anywhere but here, due to the inconsistency of their pizza. I've found this place to be great on some days to downright mediocre on others. But moms know best. Before I called I checked out their Yelp page to see if they have wings on their menu. Saw that they do. Checked also for buffalo chicken pizza. They had that, too. Oh--there's bacon in there. Interesting. Made a mental note to myself: make sure to tell them to make it without the bacon. At that moment it didn't click in my head that a halal place wouldn't serve bacon. I called and some guy picked up. No "hello, how are you," nothing. That's OK, I've come to expect shitty service from Afghan-owned establishments (I'm Afghan myself and am consistently baffled by how shitty service is at Afghan restaurants and stores). He comes back on the line and asks me for my order. Before placing it, I asked him if the wings are halal. "No" was the answer. I told him that was fine but that I didn't want it. Proceeded to order my pizzas: a buffalo chicken, a vegetarian with beef, and vegetarian without cheese for my mom. At the end, the guy says, "OK, so two pizzas?" Um, no. And if you weren't rushing me through my order, jackass, you'd know I clearly said THREE pizzas. I tell him we want it ready please for 8:15. Any decent place would know that's code for "I'm fasting until then" because I placed the order three hours in advance. This clueless employee obviously didn't. Fast-forward to 8 when we have my Dad go and pick up the pies. He calls to say they gave him two, not three. Now everyone's upset because it's so close to Iftar (breaking of the fast) time. Naturally the employee places the blame on us. Dad eventually comes home with the pizzas and I practice self-restraint and go do my prayer before diving into the box. But as soon as I was done I was all over that pizza. Ripped apart a slice from the buffalo chicken pie and went to town. As I'm going for my second or third bite, my sister's question puts an immediate freeze to my chewing: "Is that bacon?" Spit out everything I had in my mouth onto a plate as she starts to dissect the pie and to all of our disgust we find out, yes, indeed it is bacon. I won't even tell you the obscenities that were hurled at that moment, knowing we had no dinner after a 16+ hour fast. So with our stomachs growling, my mother, sister and I put on our shoes and headed over to the store. I honestly had no patience with these people that night. I walked in and confronted the guy about the bacon. First, he denied that their buffalo chicken pizza has bacon in it. Really, ass? I opened the pizza box and asked him to explain. His explanation, "Oh, that. Ya, that's halal bacon." "Prove it," I say. He walks calmly to the freezer and takes out something, comes back and puts a package of turkey bacon before me. I pull up the Yelp page on my phone, show him the description for the buffalo chicken pizza and ask him why there's no mention of halal in there. He shrugs and admits it's bacon and that he didn't get why we were making such a big deal--"some Afghans eat it." I tell him we're not like him and he's like, "Oh I'm not like that either." When my mom asks him why he'd sell it, he tells her, "If you're so religious, why aren't you wearing a hijab?" I wish I was making this up, but I kid you not, this is verbatim. I demanded our money back and yes, I did get pretty nasty with him, but anybody in my position would have lost it by this point. Mind you, not ONCE did he or any other employee there offer an apology of any kind or try to own up to their mistake. Instead, they made us feel like we were in the wrong. He did agree to give us our money back. When I told him this little incident would be broadcast on Yelp and through word-of-mouth, he was short of yawning. "Be my guest," he said. To make matters worse--and comical, now that I look back on it--there was a black homeless guy in there with a cane who offered the manager or whatever the hell his role was to pay for us "to shut us up," even taking out cash and coins from his pocket. I turned around and told him to mind his own business. This same guy waited by the door until we were done ranting to inform me that I was a bitch.

lol, seems this place either gets great reviews or 1-star reviews. mine's is smack dab in the middle... they get 1 star for being close by. me and my girl were online ordering from pizza hut, constructing our pizza when she suddenly got frustrated from hunger and said lets go around the corner and get a pizza. and off we went. they get another star for reasonable prices. never been hungry enough to order the king kong pizza, but from these reviews, its more bang for your buck. i like the fact that they offer pizza by the slice, and what huge slices they are. the 3rd star comes from taste (more on that later). great pizza! but dont get too fancy with the menu, even though they do. dont be silly enough to believe that they actually put "fresh" basil and things like that. it is what it is. i saw some frozen stouffer's meat lasagna sitting in their freezer next to the 2-liters. you arent really going to believe they actually make their own lasagna, right? keep it simple, stick to the pizza, unless you are really hungry for something different. i got fancy and ordered the lemon shrimp pasta...lol @ these tiny ass shrimp, just like the ones they use for salads. and i barely tasted lemon. but only 3 stars. lucky for me (and them) they've never been rude with me, as im reading from these reviews. im not expecting all smiles and welcomes, but we have never had any shouting matches or disagreements. we say hi, i tell em what i want, they give it to me. might even say bye, might not. dont care. they will almost certainly mess up your order, if you deviate from the menu. like i said, i live around the corner, i watch them make my food. so maybe they are extra sanitary while i watch them, but i surely correct them if they add or leave off something from my pizza, and i dont get any attitude. i dont see alot of black people in these reviews, maybe thats 1 thing i got going for me lol.

Warning! If you only eat halal, stay away from this place! We ordered a halal chicken pizza. After picking up the pizza we realized it had bacon on it. (Perfect way to break our fast during Ramadan). We immediately took it back and they claimed it was turkey bacon, then admitted to it being pork! No apologies were given and even claimed we weren't Muslim because we weren't wearing a headscarf. These people are downright rude and don't deserve your money. Speaking of money, if you don't mind them handling cash while making your pizza, then this place is for you.

  • Vadim G.

My experience: They're open till 11:00 pm on thurs. I ordered at 9:30 pm. Order was taken, payed for, and confirmed. Provided with ETA of 45 min. (2 min away). Fast forward 1 hr, no pizza. I call the restaurant. Restaurant: "We will not be delivering your pizza, its too late." me: "I ordered 1.5 hrs prior to your close time, why wasn't i informed of any changes?". Restaurant: "That's not my problem, call your bank for refund". The most ridiculous thing of this encounter, was when talking to the man on the phone, he consistently kept interrupting me, saying it wasn't his problem. in what way is it mine? NY pizza?, more like NO pizza. I will be calling Italy and NYC to complain.

We have been going to this place for years. Sadly, the food and service are going downhill. Right now It's a hit or miss with this place. When going with the family, we would usually order a king kong vegetable/meat combo pizza. The people working there are a bit stuck up, so the service isn't the best. I would give it 3.5 this place overall. Not sure if we'll we going back again.

  • Antishia W.

We order from you guys all the time and always love the pizza. We had some friends over so we ordered the xl 3 topping pizza; fresh basil, fresh garlic and tomatoes. When the pizza arrived it didn't have garlic, dried basil (like you would buy in the spices section) and tomatoes. So I paid for what? Not what I ordered. I will think twice before I order from you guys again. Very disappointed!

Don't even want to rate this pathetic place but I have to if I want to post something. I called placed in my order was told about 30-45 minutes wait. I called and hour later to see where my food was I was told its in its way be there in 5 minutes. So 20 minutes later I called asking for manager, no manager was on duty so I spoke to Bob who was in charge I explained I have been waiting he said sorry it should be there soon. I then called back 10 minutes later and cancelled my order. Im not waiting for pizza for an hour and half when I live about 5-7 minutes away. I will never order from here again.

This review is not based on their food. I have never eaten here, I wanted to, but we didn't get that far. My husband and I had just hung up with Mountain Mike's because of their unwillingness to accommodate us. We called New York Pizza and the gentleman who answered the phone was VERY short with my husband, rushing him through the order and then when he repeated it he had it wrong. My husband tried to correct him he still got it wrong and said "Ok, Second pizza." After that happened 3 times, I told my husband to hang up. I don't know about you, but I really do expect to receive customer service even if it is for delivery. Especially if it's delivery, they add a fee and often expect a tip. The food sounds great, but I won't give money to people who don't care about their customers.

  • Edward T.

Customer service sucks. Came in to order a slice of pizza & even though there were 5 guys standing around talking, it took about 5 long minutes for anyone to acknowledge me even though I was the only one in the store. Then they didn't accept my order because I had my card & they had a $5 minimum. I even told then they could charge me an extra 0.50 cents and they still said no. No wonder this place is always empty. I don't feel so bad after watching the pizza maker back there scratching his face and making pizza at the same time...

  • Rich S.

This evening, I ordered the Margarita pizza. The description was "fresh basil, sliced tomatoes, fresh garlic and mozzarella". Great, that is an accurate description of the traditional Margarita pizza. That is NOT what they gave me. This pizza was somewhat bland, had no fresh basil and no fresh mozzarella. It had their regular cheese and prior to handing it to me, heavily coated it in dried basil flakes. So freaking unacceptable. Oh, and did I mention that I ordered it online and the estimated pickup time was 10-30min. I got there 27minutes later. After standing at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, they looked surprised and then looked at the order and said " 10 more minutes"...and started making my pizza. Unacceptable. Lastly, the name of the place is a joke. I lived in the Northeast for close to thirty years and in that time had authentic NY pizza numerous times... This awful pizza doesn't deserve to be called New York pizza.

There pizza is OK, there is nothing special about this pizza joint. In my opinion (depending on which pizza you get) there is pizza is slightly below average. I had a slice of there beef pepperoni and one slice of veggie. The veggie was good, not great but slightly above OK, but the beef pepperoni was very greasy. There decor has to be one of the worst, if not the worst I've seen in any pizza parlor. Everything from the carpet, to the tables, to the tv is completely outdated and is uninviting to customers. There chairs are greesy, some of there tables were not clean. Overall, I was not very comfortable eating at this establishment and most likely I will never come back to this pizza place again.

Well, as many have said, regardless of other reviews, I consider this the best pizza in the east bay. Good sauce and great crust. Working from a small sample (I've only had one combo), it's the best I've had around here. Oh well...

Pizza is usually good, but the owner needs to fire everyone working there because they are all rude and disrespectful

I've giving this place 3 different chances since it is literally 1 block from my house. But last week was the breaking point!! The driver calls and said I gave them the wrong address witch was not the case. Then after walking the pizzas up he said he will never be back!! When I called to let the manager know what happened he could care less. Its to bad that customer service has come to this......

Thank you Zamir for being a very courteous order taker and listening to my concerns of pizzas that have been not so great in the past! I have reviewed some of the comments about the staff at this eatery and maybe YOU should be the ONE to train those that as some put it, "Care Less or are Rude" to customers. The pizza arrived just as I ordered it so you really were listening and I can tell YOU CARE. Kudos to Zamir!!

Regardless of the reviews on here, I've got to say that I love this place, Every experience I've had with New York Pizza, whether it was dine in, take out or delivery, they have always fulfilled my hunger. They are famous for their King Kong Pizza very HUGE for a great price! To me personally, their Gourmet Combination Pizza is their trademark. There's just so much flavor! Their tomato sauce & dough give it an amazing unique taste. Their toppings are almost as big as their pizza! They are not stingy on their toppings at all. I would recommend this place for everyone to try at least once in their lifetime, preferably a dine in. Who doesn't like a pizza straight out the oven?!

    (4)
  • Roni R.

One star...and that's being generous! I'm only a few blocks away and it took 2 and a half hours for my delivery! And it was a week day! And the pizza...it was undercooked! Ugh! Never again!

  • Dc B.

Pretty good pizza, like previous reviews. The people that work at this joint could care less about the customers. Its not like i am going to ask them to be my new friends ,just make a good pizza and i will come back.I did pick up my own pizza, didn't want to wait for it.

NO STARS!!! THEY HAVE THE WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I ordered for delivery they screwed up my order and wouldn't fix my problem. The guys words were, "you are having the worst day I know" lol. I don't write reviews at all but they pissed me off so bad.

***The Mexican Cashier(s) is a thief!!! They Used my ATM Card two days later and charged $86 in fraudulant charges. I would give them a NO STARS if it were possible. The product itself wasn't bad, but the terrible Deceit definately is. Sadly for them they picked the wrong fraud "victim". I will be making sure to call Osha for the blatant violations; Calling BBB if they even participate with them; Planning to walk in and speak with management to see what they're willing to do to fix this plain out ROBBERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do Not Go here please esp usuing your ATM unless your okay with people robbing you of your hard earned cash.

Wow, what a diverse split in reviews. I went to New York Pizza for the first time last night. I walked in (on a weeknight, around 8pm) and it was mostly empty. An employee handed me a menu with coupons, so I got a Medium 1 topping for $5.99 (extra cheese!). That's a pretty good deal, I do say. After about 10 minutes, the pizza is ready, so I walk home with it. It tasted totally delicious; it satisfied the cheese craving (didn't skimp out) and the bread was a nice texture. Based on other peoples' reviews, I could see this being bad. It's a bunch of young neighborhood kids working. They could easily not give a shit about your food. They did for mine and it turned out really tasty. Plus, $1.99 for a slice of cheese is kinda awesome. I'll be going back until they mess up.

I ordered from the Hayward store and the guy on the phone took my number and address four times. When 45 minutes went by, I decided to give them a call to see what's going on. I was put on hold for 5 minutes, so I decided to hang up and continue to watch Entourage while I waited patiently...I figured I'll give them a break. The pizza guy never showed up after 1.5 episodes of Entourage. It turned out the delivery guy went to a wrong address and they had the wrong phone number (after giving him the number 4 times) so they couldn't even call me. After all this, the guy on the phone asks me, "So what do you want to do with the pizza?" I wanted to curse him out and tell him to shove it up his beep!! I'm never buying pizza from the Hayward branch again. I hope the owner of the Hayward branch reads this so he can send his employees to navigation and customer service classes.

Nothing at all like New York style pizza, but still an excellent pizza. When you order by slice, they give you a very generous portion. Hits the spot!

0 customer service skills It's almost like the expect me to not be a repeat customer. I gave them multiple chances and the last times they were still rude but prompt with delivery. Tonight it took them an hour and ten minutes to deliver a pizza not even a mile away. They definitely lost a customer tonight.

wooow. their king kong pizza is HUMONGOUS ! This size is great for occassions or hella people eating. Taste is pretty decent, I like it. Service is great. We used to ask them deliver to our school for after school activities and they'll find the right classroom & everything. Sometimes, they forget the condiments though or bring us the wrong pizza. But still, Im a fan

Cheap, greasy pizza. Yup. Many a late night spent grubbin on this at the hospital with my coworkers--they have GIAGARTUAN SIZED pizzas. Its ridiculous really. You see the size of this box and think that there is not a way in hell it could ever get finished but sure enough, we pounce on that pie in a flash.

maybe because i come pretty often, i really don't have a problem with their customer service as seen in some of the other yelps for this place. This is my go to spot for decent priced pizza. there cheesy bread is to die for, hands down. My favorite pizza from ONLY this branch is their jalapeno and sausage pizza. For some reason in the past, other new york pizza's use a sausage similar to hamburger meat, to where this branch uses really huge chunks of sausage. If i want New York pizza this is the only branch i go to. So the reason for a four star is again not the best of the best but the place to go for pizza when on a budget. Also the location isn't in the best part of Hayward.

Seems everything was ok as far as the food, but dont order delivery if the guy has to figure out how to get to you... The delivery guy says I cant figure how how to get in to your apartments,.. I walk down as 2 cars go through the gate.. It is the first time I had to go down and meet the del. guys.. Forget it.. Everyone else can get in but this guy?

I used to LOVE this place when I was in High School. It's still pretty good-but very hard to trust. I read some past reviews and everyone is pretty much right. It's definitely hit or miss. I wouldn't order weekends when the kids are working as I know what goes on, (I too had friends who worked there). During the day M-F would be your best bet, and you should ALWAYS order a specialty pizza and not one that they would have laying around...they have NO shame and will totally re-heat that shit and send it out. PS: I find it somewhat comical when Middle-Eastern men tell you their name is "Tony" just because they run a pizza place...lol. C'moooooon.

I like this place because they are cheap, pizza sizes are huge, and they deliver just about anywhere. I prefer their pizzas over the larger pizza chains because it simply tastes more authentic. They have a "King Kong" sized pizza which the delivery guy literally has to tilt sideways just to get in to your front door.... That's Awesome!!!

Great tasting pizza. I usually get the super big KING KONG pizza which is the 27inch pizza. This thing can feed 4 families. The crust on this pizza is super good, it taste like wheat bread or something. And the toppings are always fresh. I usually dont like new york style pizza but this place is great. I love the thin crust and thin style pizza. The staff here is super friendly. Food: Great Service: Great Parking: Big Lot 4 Stars for New York Pizza

Ok.... so without going into it too much... I've had some pizza... and I've had some pizza.... and this barely qualifies for either. I think I can make better pizza with the stale bread I have laying around and the almost-living lunch meats I have paying rent in the bottom drawer of my fridge. I might have to rethink my qualification of Joy S. as a "friend" might need to be reconsidered both on the saying that "you are what you eat" and the fact that she willingly gave me a piece of this stuff.

I'm a fan :) C'mon! Pizza by the slice! That rarely happens anymore. I love their combination and their pepperoni. Not loving their garlic chicken and can't say the spot is the most attractive, but I'm def going back.

What I like is that it's pretty cheap, tasty, fast, and close to where we live. I find myself going here often when I'm in need of a pizza fix. I always order mushrooms with pepperoni and sometimes when I want a little more I add sausage in. YUM! Not sure about the other fixings, but the ones I've ate so far have been pretty good to me.

The pizza is good. I drive out from san mateo to get this pizza. Huge slices, cheap, thin crust new york like pizza. Service could be better however.

NY Pizza is hardly New York style pizza. I'd say it's a small step above Little Caesar's or Domino's. I've tried the Mexican pizza which is a combination pizza with jalapenos and cilantro. The crust can be tough and is hardly thin. I've never been to the place, but the delivery is timely. A bit pricey for the quality.

Yummy Pizza! If you have a lot of people to feed...order the king kong size pizza! It's huge! It's even really good if you are just feeding yourself because they sell fresh out of the oven pizza slices for really cheap. Good price, good quality.

Great pizza, friendly people from the Cashier to the delivery drivers. They are always on time, and if they mess up on your order they always correct it with in minutes, even delivery! Love this place

I've been ordering King Kong Pizzas from here for about a year now, it's the best pizza you can find that you get your moneys worth. I order the King Kong Pizza Afghan Style (halal meat), basically a veggie with beef and peppers on regular crust. After two slices I'm usually in the need for coffee, these are nice size slices. I gave them a 4/5 stars because I had my sons birthday at the park and had ordered six of these, but they messed up the order and had one of them as cheese. Never ordered an only cheese.

It has been 9 years now that I am eating same place pizza. I tried Round Table Pizza, Domino's Pizza, Olive Garden Restaurant's Pizza. I honestly did not like it very much and did not need to try it second time. Every time I want to eat Pizza, I could think of only one place, which is New York Pizza. The other locations does not cook Pizza delicious as this location at Tennyson Rd. If you are group of five or six, order the King Kong size. That will feed the whole group.

It is obvious there is no employee discipline or proper managment here as the employee's are rude & get away with treatment that would get anyone fired for a business that want's to keep customers. To sum up, work & errand's got me home late to an already hungry family. Ordered pizza about 8:30pm. Said about 45min for delivery. I called 9:20ish & they said someone was on there way. Family STARVING by then...called again 9:40ish & even after telling them I placed an order over an hour ago they said they we're closed & just hung up in my face?????!! I called back immediatly but they would not answer. They supposably was not to close until 11pm I thought. I don't know what was going on..but I was pissed to say the least & ended up having to leave my house to pick up food somewhere else. WOW..is all I can say & after reading review's just now to see other people's experience's,..I can see it's still going on & I'm not the only one. I guess the owner does not care.

I actually like this place regardless of what most the yelps here say. The secret to me is don't get the whole pizza. like with most places the whole pizza places - gets a little doughy in the middle. Slices they cook it twice which is perfect.. Maybe cooking the whole pizza twice would help period?

Their pizza is very tasty. Price is reasonable. Love their mushroom pizza and buffalo wings. Their king kong pizza is huge but it did lack sauce. Now, most of the time we just ask for extra sauce. $5.99 each for 3 medium 1 topping pizzas (if you have the coupon). Or their king kong pizza is about $21.99 and I think it includes a 2 liter soda. Overall, the taste is great! Never had any problems with delivery or ordering over the phone. The pizza is still hot when we eat it.

Another place that skimps on toppings, unfortunately. No recourse, employees don't care, owner doesn't care

The draw of New York Pizza is, of course, their King Kong pizza. It is massive. It has fed an apartment full of hungry bros on numerous occasions. I've had mostly good experiences here. One time they brought us the wrong pizza, which had an item that one person couldn't eat, so they let us keep it for free and returned ASAP with the correct pizza. I did get a bit of attitude once from a delivery guy who was irritated that he had to phone in my credit card number - though to be fair I might have been a little drunk. Overall, not enough for me to drop it down to 4 stars. Just keep in mind that if you are ordering for delivery, and you want to charge it, you might have to specify yourself that you're paying with card. The prices are very reasonable considering what you get for your money; I advise that you check their website, however, since they have some web-only specials that will save you a good deal of money. FYI, the breadsticks were A+. If you are looking for gourmet pizza, this probably isn't the place to go - but if you have a party full of drunk and hungry people, New York Pizza is the only way to go.

This is one of the better delivery pizza places in my area. The cheese and crust have always been pretty good and have always seemed pretty fresh. The King Kong pizza is HUGE. I've always liked it but I have to admit, I am now a little bit creeped out after reading other reviews and the thought of bodily fluids on my pizza.

This is my favorite place to order pizza. Their 24" King Kong is larger than any other I've seen and a good value for the money. What keeps me coming back is the pizza dough--nothing else I've had tastes as good. The crust is chewy with good flavor. Delivery takes a while so you're better picking it up yourself.

Average Pizza; just like any other place. There were some unique stuff about it too, though. The Cheese was actually pretty good and it was thick and flavourful. The crust was rotten n' nasty but the Pizza was big and large for its price. The Prices were good, and they pizza was okay; so I would give it a 3.6 out of 5 if I could; but I don't think they deserve a 4. I give them a 3.

Well They have left a flyer on our door faithfully for almost a year so I decided to give them a try. The crust was doughy and crispy at the same time... bottom being burnt will do that to a pizza. The toppings on my ham and pineapple were as such .....Ham ....virtually non-existent and worse yet it was like that nasty 500 slices of ham for 3.99 you get at the local grocery. Pineapple was like half a can of some very cheap shit. I almost think it was crushed pineapple and not chunk style. Flyer advertises fast free delivery yet i was hit with a one dollar delivery fee...... I dont care about the DOLLAR but I dont like being made to believe something is free when in fact it isnt. ( Then again nothing is "Free" anymore so thats on me). The wife ordered a pepperoni as she always does and was completely disgusted with the crust which for some reason was very hard to bite into on hers......like the dough had been out far to long. She was so upset she called and asked not to have their flyer presenters place flyers on our door so she doesnt make the mistake of ordering from then again. We usually order large pizzas and eat the rest at some point the following day but mine went into the garbage after 2 slices and my wife ate one and discarded the rest of hers promptly. Sad Sad pizza joint....many many better ones out there.
