Very friendly service! Prices are good as well as the food. I recommend the Teriyaki Chicken.

The Pros: The sauce was delicious with a slightly vinegar base that adds a tang and plentiful (no extra charge for sauce). The cuts of chicken were good and juicy with not too much fat. The portions are just right, not too much that you are full looking at it but enough that you are satisfied and full when you complete it. The service was friendly and welcoming and the location was clean. The price was decent, not as low as a few other places, but well worth the few extra dollars. The Cons: Location is too far from Sacramento! Conclusion: We stopped on the way to San Francisco and it was so good that we stopped on way home only after a weekend. Since we were able to eat it so many times in a short period of time, clearly we would go back often. I would recommend this to anyone in the area. Teriyaki House is our yard stick for finding a good teriyaki place in our home town.

Went here a week ago. Ordered the beef terriyaki. Mmmmmm. OMG definitely exceeded my expectations. They did not skimp on their servings at all. And with some extra terriyaki sauce, the meat was perfectly cooked. I will be backkkk! Just wish they served boba drinks and this place would be perfect.

Looking for a quick bite in the Faifield and came across this place. My first thought was another fast food Japanese restaurant. Noooo I walked in and to my surprise the place was very clean and counter person was very friendly and helpful. The food wow very big portions and very good Most of all very cheap prices here. Thanks guys at Teriyaki house I will be back for more.

Service was excellent and not pushy - you can order up at the counter or someone eventually swings by your table. They have an open kitchen that is obviously spotless. The grill is also clean and the restaurant as a whole is well kept and well lit. Food quality was excellent Serving size was above average.

1st Visit: Clean, Fast, Super-Friendly, & Tasty. Stopped by after our weekly Lowe's visit right before closing. The wife and I both had chicken teriyaki plates and both were impressed. Great flavor and no "questionable food items" on my plate. Definitely will go back again.

yay! found another mom and pops place! as usual, i love random and spontaneous quick finds that are affordable and delicious! This restaurant is owned and operated by a family, so you'd expect a down right home style good ol' cooking. can't beat that! the portion is awesome, and the people are very friendly.

This place is new and it doesn't look like much, nut being close by and new to the area we decided to try it out. We've been a few times now and haven't been disappointed. I think the food is great. Everything so far has been really good. I've tried the spicy chicken, chicken teriyaki, and the sesame chicken. All of it has been great. My favorite thing is their gyoza, and it is fantastic. I have been getting the bento box each time I go because everything in it is good and I can get several things and not have to choose. The box comes with a California roll. Now I haven't been a fan of the simple Cali roll but this one is too good to pass up. Service has been great and I think it's a small family run business. Last time we went they offered to let us try their green tea ice cream, and again to no surprise it was very good.

This place was amazing! My boyfriend and I went here on a whim after we heard rumours of a tasty new teriyaki place. We went in and discovered it was not a place where you were waited on and you ordered at the counter. I got the agedashi tofu place and my bf got the three item combo with chicken and beef teriyaki, plus spicy chicken (he was reeeally hungry, lol). We had a short wait in which I admired the beautiful tree painted behind the register and watched golf on the tv. The food arrived pretty quicky on pretty red plates. The portions were huge! and at such a reasonable price too. My tofu was amazing, just a tad crispy with a smattering of some kind of delicious sauce and a side of salad that included cabbage and bean sprouts, among other things. However, my boyfriend's plate was hugenormous! They do NOT skimp on the rice (which is perfectly cooked btdubs). I tried a bit of the beef teriyaki (I'm usually a pescatarian, but god, do I miss beef teriyaki...) which was ahhmazing! So flavorful and tender! The portions are so worth the price, worth even more than that I think. We requested extra spicy sauce, which they obliged. At every table was a bottle of teriyaki sauce which we thoroughly doused our food in. At the end of the meal, the hostess told us we could have some ice cream on the house, strawberry or green tea. We got both. lol. The meal was so satisfying and exactly what we were craving that day. I was so very impressed with this place and I am definitely coming back to try other things, like their ramen or the salmon teriyaki. This place is gonna be one of my favorite for sho. Loved it.

Went there yesterday. Place was super clean and service was really friendly. I ordered the bento box. Everything was good except the California rolls. The avocado was brown which meant it has been sitting around for awhile! I'll be back to try other items on their menu

Good food. Very friendly service. Unfortunately, I was comparing this place to "I Love Teriyaki and Sushi" in Concord, since the menu is very similar. Very different tastes, but, would still go back!

  • Jenn Y.

To start, I'm a total Japanese food snob here. And I compare the taste what I had in Japan. Best way to describe the food here is like "fast food style Japanese food." If you're looking for a wide selection of sushi rolls and sashimi, you will NOT find that here, hence the name "Teriyaki House." Other than that, the bento box is good for what it is - choice of teriyaki beef, chicken etc., pot stickers, tempra, miso soup, and refrigerated California rolls. Amount of protein is definitely an American-sized portion. You can add more teriyaki sauce if you prefer which is already on the table.

So this is no flame broiler but it comes close...... I did miss the green onions :'( but the chicken was good and the rice was cooked well....the flavors are good as well...it definitely didnt dissapoint and takes care of my teriyaki chicken craving.... The place was empty when I walked in. Both employees got up quickly and one rang me up and yhe other started prepping my meal. Next thing you know it was done....i was surprised and a little hesitant to eat...it was too good to be true and was wondering it it was going to be good. Well it was...I would go here again next time im in thw mood for teriyaki. ....

  • Valery A.

Service makes or breaks a place. With an almost empty shop aside from 2 others sitting, we come in with a few orders and the man (medium height/middle aged) working the register/kitchen is rushing me? Ok, sorry to bother you with my business, I'll be sure to go somewhere else next time.. The food: Calamari was chewy & rubbery, strange consistency and taste. Chicken teriyaki was average, the dip makes it better. Overall, very average place with above average prices.

A family favorite. A little dine in area, order at the counter or call in for take out. A family run restaurant with some good tasting awesome teriyaki. We've pretty much had everything on the menu but our favorites are the Teriyaki Chicken, Kalbi Short ribs and Sesame Chicken. Shrimp tempura too, not to be confused with the Teriyaki shrimp which I didn't care much for. Generous portions and reasonable prices, rib plate is probably the most costly but worth it. I've come back here often as a go to when I don't feel like taking chances with my money. Plates come with a simple vegetable stir fry and rice. Goooood rice....especially with extra teriyaki sauce over it. Excellent sauce. Other menu items...potstickers, vegetable noodles, miso soup, pork teriyaki, beef teriyaki....go for it!

Great and cheap place to get good food. They have bbq chicken, katsu, teriyaki beef, and more rice plates. It's really good and affordable. They make the food pretty quick too.

Wished we discovered this place when we moved to the area 6 months ago. Our 1st time was last week and we have been back 3 times already!! It's that good! The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot for your buck! I highly recommend the Bento Box A: you will get to try a little bit of everything. Teriyaki chicken, California Rolls, Gyoza, and a dill-like salad. The family owned restaurant makes you feel at home. It's cozy, exceptionally clean and everyone there is so friendly! The service is fast and if /or when you order to pick-up they have it all ready for you with extras like extra teriyaki sauce, forks and chopsticks! Thank God we found you Teriyaki House! You are one of our favorites!! We will be coming back again again!!

I love their teriyaki ribs. Much more, the chicken and calamari are very good. Place is not too fancy but great food. Employees are very helpful and friendly including the owner. I don't mind coming back. You can also order ahead of time.

  • Khadeejah S.

Oh... This place reminds me of the Teriyaki in Seattle.. Can't get enough. The $10 Bento Box is the best value.

  • M O.

I come here with my parents whenever I'm in town and I love it. The menu is simple and the food is good. I always get the veggie tempura plate and the tempura isn't greasy which is a big plus. The people that work there always greet us happily and are always very nice. I notice a lot of people get their orders to go and those orders come out quickly too. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the mood for a sit down meal without the crowded restaurant atmosphere.

A wonderful strip mall treasure, Teryaki House has a welcoming and friendly staff and delicious food for under 10 dollars. The rice is always perfect--moist but not mush and the chicken and pork are cooked to perfection. Try the honey spicy chicken.

I really enjoy eating here. Not only is it convenient, but the prices are very affordable. The food is yummy and the portions are just right. The owners are very friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and casual. My favorite is the agedashi tofu!!!! The kids and hubby love their teriyaki beef. Not sure what to get? I suggest getting #12, you get to pick three different entrees for less than $12. If you have kids no problem, because this place is kid friendly.

The house teriyaki sauce is so delicious it's dangerous! I always get the lunch special because its a great deal, for a lot of great food. Their service is fast and their food is fresh.

Hands down thee best spot for teriyaki in the area at a reasonable price! And the staff is very friendly and accomodating! The food is always fresh! You can't go wrong!

I love this place, their food is so good! I came here a lot when they first opened and haven't been here in a while so I decided to come in. I'm so glad that the food still taste great! I always get the bento box B and the Udon. As for service, the lady there is always smiling and welcoming, although the husband seems grouchy like always.

    (5)
  • John R.

Ok it grill meat, how can it be so good. One they don't over cook it. There's nothing worst that overcooked rubbery chicken! An the in-house made teriyaki sauce is very very good. I actually purchase a bottle to use it at home. Some other good thing on the menu are the udon soup "killer". Tempura is on point and my fav is the bento box! See you there!

We came on a Thursday evening and we ordered the Bento Box A with beef teriyaki and B and a drink for 28. - Clean. Not hectic. Pleasant. Only one at the restaurant. - Pretty daughter. haha. Very friendly and inviting. - Price of food is a bit steep for something that tastes better than L&L but not as good as a bento box from Ichi-Maki - Chinese fortune cookie, Japanese chicken Teriyaki, with Korean veggies! Nice culture combo! haha..On the menu, I also saw Thai chicken! xD - Gyoza had sauce on it. I preferred if it were separate. imo. - No shrimp with tempura with bento B :(. cheap skate! - Free ice cream?! so nice. yummy, chewy. green tea. no ice. The kind in fried tempura ice cream. - Great place to support mom and pop

Everything I've ordered off the menu has been fresh and tasty. If you need a quick meal, this is great place. The bento box is my favorite option since you get a bit of everything!

Great family-owned place. Mama works the register, everyone works the kitchen. Food is consistent and delicious. Service is always friendly, if a little slow sometimes. Portion size is great and the value is definitely there.

Good food, huge portions, and great customer service, what more can you ask for?! Their teriyaki sauce is definitely on the sweet side (even for teriyaki sauce!), but I love it. Make sure to try their green tea ice cream!

  • Carlos M.

My initial impression of this place was it was a bit dull once we first walked in. There was only one other customer and was getting an order to go, which we were also. The staff was sweet, the lady greeted us with a huge smile and then took out order. we sat down as we waited for our dinner, we order 2 orders of the teriyaki chicken (which we played safe seeing how it was our first time) and order of the tempura vegetable. when we got our order the aroma was amazing! we got home and the food was delicious well portioned. The only reason this joint did not get all my 5 stars is because the tempura vegetable was a bit to oily, I'm guessing the oil wasn't hot enough when they put the vegetables in. Other than that it was pretty good!

  • Jerry G.

Great BBQ beef (the one with the bone in it still) and yummy calamari!!! I ordered the calamari and my friend ordered the BBQ beef. I love a good calamari, so when I tried my friend's food I just loved it as well. Owners were real friendly and place was real clean. Its nice to eat at mom and pop's place where they take pride in what they do!!!

Love this Place! I've been working at Travis AFB for 6 months and Teriyaki House is on my regular rotation for lunch. My favorite is the Honey Spicy Chicken; get it every time now. The teriyaki chicken is really good too. A colleague's favorite is the beef and chicken teriyaki combination plate. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I don't even have to tell them what I want anymore; they know as soon as I step up. They greet me when I come in and as I finish up to leave. I don't care for the steamed veggies they include; they remember that also every time. They will give you extra rice or even make a little green salad with an Asian peanut dressing as a substitute. Highly recommend.

Called in an order for the hubby and the person taking the order didn't even seem interested. Actually, he sounded annoyed. He asked me to repeat my order a couple of times because he chose not to listen. Honestly, the food isn't that tasty. I ordered the deluxe combo and asked for salad instead of rice. Got home and they got the order wrong. Definitely will not return.

Teriyaki House is one of my favorite places. I always order the chicKen salad. They use mixed greens, broccoli, carrots and teriyaki chicken on top. The service has always been great.

  • Keandra H.

DELICIOUS! Was debating between this and YO's, good thing I chose this. Hands down the best chicken teriyaki I've had in a very long time! I had the bento box and everything that came with it was delicious! Would have gave 5 stars if there was sushi served besides the California roll. But I understand it's known for the teriyaki, given the name of the restaurant LOL... Anyway, I definitely will be coming back again with the fam.

I recently moved in to Fairfield and being within the vicinity of this shopping center I only made my trips specific to Raley's or Subway. But on a Friday night I did notice, however, the sweet smell of teriyaki permeating throughout the air after I picked up a Red Box from Raley's. Place was pretty popular with customers coming and going, my curiosity got me so I Yelpped this place and found out the different dishes they serve. Lately, I've been craving for vegetable tempura but when I visited I noticed that they had a combo plate that could accommodate both mine and my boyfriend's hungry tummy. I liked the beef, the shrimp didn't have too much taste, the spicy chicken was good.. and of course the tempura hit the spot. They seem friendly and welcoming. I'll have to go back again and give it another try.

Update: Someone wrote as some kind of reply I think that their experience is different than mine. Well, first of all, I do not expect a fancy restaurant style. You're kidding ! It's Fairfield and on a strip mall. But I did have great experience smtm in the same category of restaurant on a strip mall somewhere else. Second, I wrote my own specific experience, which is bad hoping they would make improvement. Something like putting a cup down on the counter, that's really bad practice according to the code of service industry and manner and basic human cleanliness or hygiene. And I came from a third world country, I never had that experience before in my life. Your taste of food it's yours and yours only. Previously frozen shrimp? Even I don't cook that at home. I get shrimp from Asian market sometime as far as Ranch 99 in El Cerrito. Thanks for your reply btw. --------- I think the good reviews are from friends of someone works here. So, I decided to help out. Hoping they would make some improvement. Although I doubt it. Went to lunch today with hubby as he loveees teriyaki but never get to try this place since moved here from Benicia. Hubby's fave is double teriyaki from Panda. Today is our banking day, which are located within the same plaza, so we decided to give this a try. It's a dissapointment as you may guess from the Lone Star. I got two combo beef and shrimp. Serves with salad and steam rice. Salad was eeek.. literally. The beef was just ok. The shrimp were on the skewer and they undercooked and got no taste. It's previously-frozen kinda shrimp. The guy at the register taking our order was young student probably. I noticed he was first sitting down on one of the table with a laptop in front of him. I thought that kinda odd. Is this Starbucks? I thought. I thought he was one of customers. He asked whether I want a drink, I said water and he gave me an empty foam cup upside down on the counter. Again, I thought how odd ? somebody's lips would be on that cup !! So I made sure I took a straw. The same thing happened for hubby, he asked for an ice tea, again he placed a Pepsi cup upside down on the counter. Again I made sure hubby got a straw. The whole time we were eating, no one asked how was it or nothing. So, previous review mentioned excellent customer service ??? Really ??? Naah. Not for me. Not in my experience. So we eat cos we're hungry. Mark this one word hungry. But even in this hungry condition, when usually food taste good no matter what, NOT in this case. Hubby helped me regarding the undercooked shrimp. He took the skewer to the counter and asked to be cooked a bit more. They did. Hubby was waiting in front of the counter and the Asian lady there told him that the skewer will be return to our table. Remember the young student at the register ? It was him the one took the skewer on a thong and placed it right to my plate. Wow,... this is way weird for restaurant experience. I believe that would consider as RUDE. I have been all over the world, if something like this happen even in third world country, the (maybe ignorant) waiter would placed the skewer onto a plate, right ?? NOT bring it with a thong and placed it right into my plate ?? Later on I realized the plate was even a plastic one. The utensil provided on the table were all white plastic forks, and chopstick, no spoon. No additional teriyaki sauce, which I thought would be home made hence the name of the restaurant,.. no,.. it's just a bottle of Sriracha teriyaki sauce. There you have it. Better go to Panda across the plaza. You've been warned.

The food was pretty good. I got the tempura combo with teriyaki chicken (about 12 bucks). The chicken was delicious. The tempura was good but it wasn't great (it may have been the fact that I brought it home to eat). Service was friendly. Food was prepared quickly. As others have mentioned, it's more of a take out type of place. I'd come back.

Just finished my dinner from Teriyaki house and my husband and I think that we have found our new spot for friday movie night. They have big portions and it's not that expensive to get us both really full! We both got the teriyaki plate and there is going to be leftovers for sure. We also got a side of gyozas and Cali roll which were fresh and delicious. We are really glad we branched out!

This place has delicious teriyaki chicken with large portions, you get a lot of food for the price. The owners are very friendly and the service is great. The bento box is pretty good, and I always enjoy the chicken and beef teriyaki. This is not a traditional Japanese sushi spot, it's literally what it says "teriyaki house".

  • Geoffrey W.

We have gone there once so far. Its good, nothing outstanding but then we tried just a few things on the menu and we were satisfied. The staff was cordial but again not over the top they did help with our two little ones so that gives a good mark for us. We enjoyed the food, the place is new so clean. We will visit there again and try a few more things and come to a balanced conclusion. My dad who is 83 has been there a few times and enjoys it so that's something. Yes I generally try not to say what we ordered because every ones taste is different. I suggest ordering your basic fall back when you try somewhere new then branching out.

Bat & Amara are the owners and they are so nice and welcoming. After a workout at the gym, I was starving! I usually head to the gym right after work and do not leave the gym until late. Wednesday night, I couldn't complete my regular workout routine because I had to eat! I asked my girl, Maria, if we could leave the gym a little early and we headed out to Teriyaki House because of all the wonderful Yelp reviews. This place has been open for a few months now and has already become a local favorite hot spot! I have been to the Teriyaki House several times since I began this review. I believe I started writing it about a month ago. I have since tried several items on the menu and have not been disappointed yet! The Bento Boxes are very filling. I usually get the Bento box B. The gyoza is a great item for appetizers. It is made just the way it is suppose to be! The wrappers are not too thick and are filled quite well with the meat and vegetable mixture. I don't know how I feel about the California Roll. If you are craving for some type of sushi, I suggest you try elsewhere, but you can't really go wrong with a California Roll. After all, it is just avocado, imitation crab and rice. As far as the Tempura with the Bento Box, I would suggest to the owner that he add at least two pieces of shrimp tempura with the Box B. It would make the Bento Box more appealing. When I went to this place for the first time, I asked him if there was shrimp in the tempura with the Bento Box B. He said, "no", but then he told me he would add it to mine, since it was my first visit there and he wouldn't charge me extra. Maybe he can make it a choice because I know some people who do not eat shell fish and they probably don't mind. But for those people who eat Bento Boxes that include tempura, usually you get two pieces of shrimp! So Chris C. I know what your saying, but Bat & Amara are very accommodating. Just Ask & you may receive! :) Oh yeah! And my first time there, our table were all offered Green Tea Ice Cream for dessert! Yummy! And it was free! I have tried the Spicy Chicken, which is very tasty! It isn't really that spicy, but I like to add a little more chili pepper sauce to mine. I have also had the fried calamari and the beef Teriyaki! Both are extremely yummy!! They do a great job with adding seasoning and flavor to their Teriyaki Bowls. Like everyone else has mentioned, the place is very clean, the prices are reasonable, service is always friendly and served with a smile! If you are craving a Teriyaki Chicken or Beef Bowl, this is definitely the "To Go" spot! I already love this place! Oh yeah! And it looks like the favorite spot for local Police! I have seen them there eating on there lunch break every night I have stopped through after the gym. If it's attracting the local Fairfield Police Officers, then I think that is a good sign, don't you? Yelpers! Please get the word out. Let's keep this local establishnment open!

I have no complaints what so ever about this place. When I get the craving for some teriyaki beef or chicken, this place is what I think of first being that it is very close to home. And their kimchee is outstanding.

This is a late/edited review. I tried this place for the first time a few months ago, so I apologize ahead of time if things have changed since I went there. :P First, let me start by saying that the customer service was really awesome and friendly! It was my first time here, and I know this place is relatively new. The ladies were super nice and welcoming. Prices were good, and the place is super cute and clean. I was excited that there was a new Asian restaurant closer to home. Granted, your restaurant doesn't specialize in ramen alone, I get that, so I knew not to expect too much. But, if the owner is reading this, please PLEASE change your ramen recipe, or take it off the menu completely. I think the thing about this "ramen" experience that was utterly and shockingly bad was the disregard of the basics. The noodles and broth should be the star in any ramen, and both were just not appreciated here. Also, the soup should not be overloaded with veggies because all the water from the veggies dilutes the broth, making it bland. Maybe it was my fault for ordering the "ramen" at a "Teriyaki" joint? lol Hmm... I DO appreciate and try to support local businesses, so in the future, I'd like to come back again and try other items on the menu and update my review with more stars. I bet it will be a better experience. :)

No complaints. I think my son & I can officially be considered regulars. Good food in Fairfield is rare & small businesses don't fare well here. Please patronize this place. Good food, good prices, large quantities, great & fast customer service.

This place is a good solid place to get your pan asian dishes. I first came here not expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The people that work are always welcoming and don't miss a step if you are dining in or ordering to go. It's a nice introduction to a more Pan Asian menu. In this area most people are only familiar with Panda Express or California Rolls. I applaud the people who own this for making a delicious meal for under $10 and serve it to you with a smile time and time again.

Teriyaki here is what it should be. A little pricy for what they serve. No sushi here just strictly terriyaki. Had tofu terriyaki the last time and that was a hit. But they are limited and again I feel it's a bit pricy for what they serve so three stars only

I don't know why so many people gave this place good reviews. Maybe I came on a bad night or maybe none of these people have had decent Japanese food before. The atmosphere was really nice and the people who worked there were friendly. The food, however, was terrible. I ordered the spicy ramen for $7.95. Considering the price I thought it would be a homemade broth with actual ramen noodles and veggies. I was extremely disappointed when I got my food. It was packaged ramen with veggies (that didn't taste very fresh)! The flavoring wasn't even their own. I could've have bought packaged spicy ramen and vegetables and made this dish at home in about 5 minutes for only a couple of dollars. The food my friends got wasn't any good either. The shrimp was flavourless and the miso was too salty. I won't be returning.

Truly a hidden gem in Fairfield. A must visit if you're in the area and are in the mood for teriyaki-style eats, great service as well, very friendly. My co workers and friends and I were trying to figure out a good place to grab some lunch and it was mentioned that this placed had just opened up. When we arrived, they had their menu taped to the window similar to how some other restaurants do so we spent a few minutes looking at what they had to offer. After looking at the menu for a bit, we decided to walk in and see how this place faired. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted by some very friendly and nice people who we assumed we're the owners and/or family members. When we mentioned that this was our first time in the restaurant, they briefly explained the menu to us as well as lunch specials and mentioned to feel free to ask them any questions should we have any (always a plus in my book). My friends and I noticed that they had a Deluxe Combination Plate, which gave us the ability to choose 3 main dishes; as this was our first time visiting, this place, we figured this was the best option. I forgot what my friends had to order but I, myself, decided to go with the Teriyaki Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and the Spicy Chicken (Can you tell I kinda like chicken? haha). The wait time for the food wasn't that bad and it didn't seem long at all. They delivered the food to us promptly, and when I took a glance at my plate, I honestly thought it wasn't going to be enough. Needless to say, it was the perfect amount for a serving and I ended up being satisfied at the end. The Chicken Teriyaki was excellent, cooked perfectly, tons of flavor, and better than your typical teriyaki chicken dishes at other places. The spicy chicken was something magical. It was breaded and topped with their spicy sauce...and it wasn't as spicy as some people may think, it was a pleasant treat. The Sesame Chicken was also excellent, small strips of chicken breast, breaded in panko, and deep fried. VERY good and should definitely be an option when you're doing a combo plate. It's also served with rice as well as a pickled salad of some sort, which is good as well, but nothing special. At the end of our meal, our very pleasant waitress/server mentioned that we can have some moochi ice cream on the house and had our choice of green tea or strawberry moochi ice cream. We had one scoop of each and, while it was good and made for a nice end to our meal, it wasn't anything to write home about. I will definitely be back to this place when I'm in the mood for some teriyaki and try to give the other choices on the menu a shot; however, it's gonna be hard to stray way from my first 3 choices I made. Good Teriyaki House, I wish you nothing but the best in your future business and you'll be sure to see my around again! To my fellow Yelpers, try it out, you won't be disappointed!

Actually 3.5 Stars overall. Reminded me of a Hawaiian BBQ place/lunch spot. Frankly I liked it. We're talking meat plates with a helping of rice and a side of sauteed vegetables. Fried meats looked/tasted Korean style. They got Kalbi! Kalbi plate w/ 3 strips $10.99. - Good solid food. - Large portions/lot's of meat. - Clean restaurant & friendly service. - Over the counter service. - Soda fountain. - Good value! reviewed 9/21/2012

Grand opening sign caught my eye. Picked up a menu& told them I'd be back w/ the hubs. Glad we went back. Good size portions w/ fairly priced items to match; ordered a few things to try, very pleased w/ taste &quality. Kimchi was yum! Fresh, great heat. Tastes Korean-made, but they're Mongolian. =) great family-owned restaurant, friendly service! Coming back for more.

No sushi bar. Miso soup is average. Clean dining area and friendly staff members. I was expecting authentic Japanese food, however, it was more commercialized. The beef flank was too thin and dry for my taste. No teriyaki sauce or special marinate added to make the meat more flavorful. It was disappointing since it was our first time to dine here.

Just your standard "teriyaki" casual "cafe." Nothing fancy and nothing special. The prices are decent but you can pretty much get this kind of food anywhere.

Pretty darn good :) but they get four stars for their pricing. It's a little higher than I would like to pay, for what you get.

I'm very impressed with the flavor on the beef and chicken teriyaki. I must say I found a place that makes the best gyoza! The vegetable side dish was very delicious. I had chicken teriyaki and gyoza...amazing! My hubby had beef teriyaki...also delicious! I would definitely come back.

I go to this place once a week at least. I love their teriyaki sauce. I tend to order the same thing over and over again: teriyaki chicken and shrimp tempura. The customer service is always great; staff very friendly. Easy parking. Reasonably priced. This is the best teriyaki place in Fairfield. Love this place.

Yummy, delicious & always great service! I've come her a total of about 6 times & I always order the Bento Box A chicken teriyaki. Best around I must say, I was even offered free green tea ice cream when I was planning on froyo! I will continue my business here!
