FOOD is AWESOME and ingredients are so fresh! Awesome and friendly owners, we leave full, satisfied and always receiving excellent customer service!!! Our 3 girls enjoy the food as well at their young age of 6, 4, and 2 :-)! Been going here since I had my daughter 3yrs ago and received consistent excellent customer service and yummy food!!!

We stopped here while just passing through town and were surprised to find one of the best Thai restaurants we've eaten at. The food was fresh, cooked neither too long nor too little, and the flavored were great. The decor is basic, with lots of window seating. The staff were friendly and prompt.

Oh man, my best friend is going to hate me for writing this review. Both her and her boyfriend are regulars here. The customer service is excellent. They put lemons in your water! Yeah I'm a square, whatever. I give the customer service 5 stars, the atmosphere 5 stars but the food, 1 star. Sorry. I'll only be back if those two drag me here again. I am VERY picky with my thai food, if you read my reviews of other thai restaurants, there are only two so far that make my larb the way I want it. It was a complete disappointment after my friends spoke highly of this place. The end.

Love this place. Food is delicious. Try their rotee!!!!! Everytime we go in there they are so personable. The place is clean and nice seating.

With so many Thai Restaurants in the area, this is the best Thai food for miles!!!! Excellent service too!! Our favorite new hang out....

The people who give this place 4 or5 stars have no idea what Thai food is suppose to taste like. This was really really bad. The spring rolls we got were just rice paper, sprouts, and shrimp, really bland (and missing all the other stuff listed on the menu), the peanut sauce was watery thin and off tasting. We got drunken noodles and they were falling apart like they got overlooked 10 hours ago. Like another reviewer said, somehow spicy and bland at the exact same time. The best thing I can say right now is that we aren't hungry anymore. Yuck.

I've been here a couple of times and it's absolutely amazing. The Yellow Curry and Pad thai are great. Great service best waiter in town. Great food authentic thai food

This place is pretty decent for thai food in Fairfield but I was a little disappointed in how small the portions were. The Angel Wings were good but basically tasted like egg rolls. It is definitely one of the more modern thai restaurants in the Suisun/Fairfield area. But as far as taste, portion size, and price, I would probably recommend Bankokian or S & L Thai over this place.

Been going here for a few years. LOVE the staff, LOVE the food! HIGHLY recommend this place.

Found long hair in food ...this place is disgusting...do yourself a favor eat somewhere else.

Went here for lunch and we were very impressed with the staff. They were so nice and friendly. Lunch was in front of us in a matter of minutes which was impressive. The food was ok. I have eaten a lot of thai food and it just wasn't as rich, even a bit on the bland side. Because of the staff, I would give it another shot.

OMG! There's a 5 star Thai restaurant in Fairfield. I LOVE this place - clean, new, modern atmosphere; great tasting authentic Thai dishes (try their Crispy Trout, Basil Chicken); excellent customer service. I feel as if I'm a guest at a good friend's home when I'm here. Absolutely would recommend this place!

  • Heather S.

The food came out really fast. Everything was really tasty. We requested medium spicy and the food definitely had a kick to it. I'll be going back.

  • Bri K.

Both the food and the service is amazing here. Polite, courteous, welcoming staff. Pretty rare to find a place so amazing in both categories. Their veggie pad thai is to die for and they have the best thai iced teas. Great veggie spring rolls too. Will keep coming back to this little gem :)

  • Elizabeth M.

This place was horrible. I came here with my boyfriend for dinner after hearing nothing but good things, and boy were we wrong. There was no flavor in the food the service was horrible and my boyfriend got sick from the food while we were still sitting at the restaurant. We both didn't finish our meals it was so bad. We will NEVER recommend or ever go back there.

  • Mercy D.

If I lived in Fairfield again, I'd make this a regular chill spot with friends. Not only because they have a little bar and a TV but because their service was supremely friendly and nice. I just had the pad kee mow and it was really good - veggies weren't overcooked, they still had a nice crisp to them and the sauce wasn't overpowering. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu!

    (4)
  • Mike S.

Was good when they opened but now seem to be using processed and frozen food. Tonight our peanut sauce for the spring rolls was rancid and the rest of our food was bland even the supposedly spicy tom kha soup. Don't think they will last long.

  • Becca W.

Nice atmosphere and decor. I would say this is probably a nice thai place to go for a date. Food was average. Service was average. I would return to this place if I had too but it wouldn't be my choice.

    (3)
  • Chris K.

Really good. Their spice has flavor. A lot of thai places just have heat, no flavor. Prices are reasonable and the pick up service was good. I hadn't been there before and the advice that was given to me over the phone was spot on. Really enjoyed my food. Wished there was a little more peanut sauce with my spring rolls. All in all, very pleased.

This place is our regular Thai food place. Been here so many times! Love the chefs! Staff are so friendly. The food we order is so yummy! Portions are moderate and of quality. I always leave here satisfied!

  • Angel M.

I would've given the restaurant 1 star because of the lack of service....until the food arrived! My fiancee had the salmon, and it was the BEST Thai Salmon she's ever had! I had the Pad Thai and it was also good. The waitress though seemed annoyed and impatient when we would order something..what's up with that? I was disappointed when they didn't serve coconut water with real meat like most Thai places I've been too. At the end of the day though, the quality of our food made up for the poor customer service. If i'm in the area and everything else is closed, i'll come back.

  • Maylene D.

Met my sister and brother in law here for dinner and the food was delicious! The service was great and they cooked the fried rice exactly to our liking with no problems. The Thai Iced Coffee was good! The fried chicken was moist and the fried broccoli was yummy!! We'll be coming back here when we're in Fairfield.

  • Maddy B.

This place definitely earned my extra star since my last review.. The food hasn't changed. It's still amazing as always. No, they didn't remodel either. Its the service. They're so nice. The owner, at least I THINK he's the owner, isn't afraid to make sure you're satisfied by the time you walk out of there. They're not afraid to make small talk with you either. I hate when you go to a restaurant to get take out & you're just sitting there twiddling your thumbs.

Best Thai in town. The Ro-tee dessert melts in your mouth...delicious! Great place to be on our last meal of the year...2013!!!

I recently relocated to Sacramento from the Bay Area and have been disappointed with the quality of Thai restaurants in Sacramento. Good thing I come through Fairfield going back to the Bay Area often because this place is definitely one of the best Thai places I've ever been to. Excellent Pumpkin Curry and Tom Kha soup, which are my go-to orders. Best part about this place has to be the friendly people that work there though.

Wow, wow, wow. I have been eating a bunch of thai food at all the different places around Fairfield & Suisun in the last couple years, and I think I may have just had my best thai meal ever. I am vegetarian, actually almost vegan, and got a whole bunch of different dishes, about 7. The food was amazing. Perfect temperature, perfect spiciness, perfect zest and flavor. I got the food to go as well. Anyway, wow, the food is so good. I got level 3 spicy and it was perfect. I didnt bother getting any rice. But ya, wow again. Maybe it helped I ordered the food shorty after they opened, when the food is most fresh and the cook is most fresh as well! It was a Sunday too. There is a cute girl who works there too. ^_^

I don't know how food can be both too spicy and bland at the same time, but somehow Bangkok Paradise has discovered such a mystical combination. So if you're looking for a restaurant that can serve you a dish that will simultaneously burn your face off AND leave your taste buds more bored than an angsty teenager at a Byrds reunion concert, then this is, sadly, the restaurant for you. To be fair, this was a nice looking establishment - bright and colorful, with large windows and clean, comfortable tables. In addition, the staff was quite friendly and readily remade my dish after I asked for another less spicy. Usually, I order my food at a spicy level of 2 or 3. However, I've been struggling with some gastric issues lately, so I assumed that I could handle a level 2. This was not a level 2, though. It was at least a 3, perhaps a 4. I knew I couldn't eat it, or I'd risk some serious pain, later. After returning my pad thai, I was brought another that was so bland that it was barely worth paying for. I'm a big fan of Thai food, and have eaten it in dozens of restaurants in 4 different countries. I don't have ridiculously high standards. Although, while this wasn't the worst I've had, it was a far cry from the best. I don't plan on going back, and I don't recommend you do either... unless, of course, you're into rubbery cardboard for dinner. There are much better places, just a few minutes drive away.

  • Sang K.

I've tried so many dishes here I don't know which is my favorite. I think it's between the basil chicken and the chicken eggplant with tofu. Love the modern decor in the place and definitely convenient being right off the freeway (across for el pollo loco). Hands down the Best Thai food in town.

this is a great place for thai food, especially if youre living in the area and dont want to go far for some good food. the garlic prawns are the best dish there. the only problem with this place is that its a little pricey for thai food, but other than that, its a great place with great service.

Gotta give another review. I just love this place. Friendly staff, and the food is delish! I'm a fan of Sukhothai, Rose Garden, Birds & Bee's, Ruen Thai (love the little old lady there/owner), Pad Thai, and even the panang curry at S&L. All good for different reasons. Sukhothai has excellent customer service and good food, but NO sticky rice. Um hello? Rose Garden is good, and the owner is a very nice lady who also runs the Thai market on W. Texas. But the entire menu is hit and miss. S&L makes the bomb panang curry, but although I've spent most of my Thai money there, I get the least amount of customer appreciation (compared to the other locations). Bangkok Paradise is modern, priced right, the food is excellent, and the staff is cool. Even the cooks greet me. I'm sold that this little family owned spot could rival Osha in San Fran.

I have eaten here many times. So it's time to write a review. The curries here are amazing. Red curry being my favorite. Spice levels can be adjusted to your taste. Angel wings, and Lao sausage are great for an appetizer. My personal favorite is te boneless trout. Crispy fried and delicious I am never disappointed.

First of all who would ever think Thai food is good in Fairfield...I was wrong though. If you are ever in Fairfield and craving for some yummy to your tummy Thai food, this is the place to go. You cannot go wrong w the Pad Thai. I love spicy so when they say spicy its REALLY SPICY!!!! ( just how I like it) I would also suggest the crab fried rice...ask for a twist of lime and the chili peppers on the side. Good Price and good food! Two Thumbs Up!!!

I decided to give Bangkok Paradise a try after seeing the great reviews it received from other Yelp readers. Actually, when I first drove up to the restaurant, I thought it was closed. It looked quite dark from the outside. However, once I went inside, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was very well-lit. There are huge windows that allow plenty of natural sunlight, but the place was still nicely lit even after the sun finished setting. I was also pleased to see that the inside was very clean. The furniture and decor wasn't fancy but gave the place a nice ambiance. The servers were polite and helpful, and the food was also cooked quickly. I didn't even have to wait between dishes. I ordered Tom Yum soup with chicken, spring rolls with shrimp, yellow curry with chicken, and the mango with sticky rice dessert. Tom Yum Gai--I was very disappointed in the soup. It tasted very bland. While it's true that I ordered it to be very mild, I don't believe spiciness should be a substitute for taste. It did have plenty of very adorable mushrooms, though (which I love). And the cilantro garnish was cut into small enough pieces to make it easy to eat. Spring Rolls with Shrimp--This appetizer included three rolls cut into halves to make six pieces. The rolls were very refreshing but could have used more shrimp. The peanut sauce that was included was delicious. Overall, however, I was also a little disappointed in the spring rolls. Yellow Curry with Chicken--I ordered this since I think any Thai restaurant worth its salt should be able to make a decent yellow curry. Fortunately... it was delicious! It was the best yellow curry I have ever tasted! It had a sweet, mild flavor that I loved. Also, I don't know what they do to the potatoes, but I just couldn't get enough of them. I found myself wishing I had ordered the vegetarian version on the off chance that I would have had more potatoes. Definitely order rice with this--even the curry sauce on its own is absolutely delicious. Sticky Rice with Mango--This is one of my favorite desserts and I always order it whenever I see it on a menu. Bangkok Paradise's version was very good. The mango was smooth and sweet--no sourness or weird stringy parts. And the sticky rice was soft and tasty. My only complaint is that I think it could have used a little bit of salt to offset the sweetness, but in the end it was still a very delicious dessert that I would order again. If I only rated for the food, I would have given Bangkok Paradise 3 stars (or 3.5 stars, if it was possible). However, the interior looked so nice and clean that I just had to give it 4. I've definitely had better Thai food elsewhere, but Bangkok Paradise was good enough that I'd come back to give their other dishes a try.

Red curry chicken was pretty good. Average lunch serving size. The chicken was okay, a little mushy. Overall the curry tasted good and they put green beans, bamboo sprouts, bell pepper, and basil in it. Yummy mix. Went with a large work group and they did separate checks and provided good service!

This resaturant is truly great! Delicious food, good service, modern yet tasteful decor. My friend and I went there twice, just to make sure food was as good as we remembered from the night before...It was! And to have their Thai-Tanic, monster desert, every spoonful delicious, worth every calorie.... The owner of the restaurant was friendly and willing to explain dishes, while balancing kitchen orders, take out orders and us! Thanks, we will be back!

Rejoice! We finally have a Thai restaurant close to our house... And not only is this "just" a Thai restaurant, a good one at that! Although we ordered take out, the waiter that took our order was very nice and he also offered us a glass of ice water while we decided what we wanted. He also stuck around just in case we had any questions about the dishes on the menu. Our food was prepared in 15 minutes, which is quick. This is what we ordered: Som Tom - super delish! I have to admit, even though I asked that everything we order to be "mild" this was a bit on the spicy side. But no complaints here because it was still good. Veggie pad thai - yummy! It also had a good amount of tofu. Chicken panang - it was probably one of the best I've tried here in the area. My husband is a big fan of panang and for him to really like the panang here... that's a good thing. Seafood special - it was really good, a good variety of seafood in the dish like catfish, mussel, shrimp, calamari... The only thing I wish they could change about this dish is the amount they gave. For $12.00 I think they could have given a lot more. Crispy fried chicken - yummy and crispy. Simple as that. My daughter enjoyed it. Mango sticky rice - SO GOOD! I'm definitely ordering this again! It was so good and savory, I could have ordered seconds. All in all, this is a really good Thai restaurant. Will we go back here again, of course! (Oh and in a couple of weeks from now, they'll be offering a 10% military discount which I think is nice.) The food was onolicious and the people were nice. The reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5: the portions were a little bit on the small side compared to S&L Thai Food.

4.5 stars LOVE this place! This is one of the first places we went to when we moved here because it was so close to our new place. I had sort of a shock (hence the 1/2 star off) the first night we were there. We ordered the Bangkok chicken wings to start, and we were expecting a more savory sauce. Instead, the sauce was pretty sweet. It was good, just not what I was expecting at the moment. Their duck red curry is one of my favorites. I love duck and I love red curry, so it's perfect. I also have a fairly low level for spice tolerance, and while my husband wanted/needed a little more spice in his dish, it was perfect for me. We've also tried the chicken basil (lunch special) and that was very yummy as well. I'm looking forward to trying the mango chicken red curry next time! It's a family-owned restaurant, so the staff is very friendly and attentive. I had lunch there with my cousin, her husband, and their son the other day, and our server was talking to my nephew and asking him questions. A lot of places just dismiss the kids and talk to the adults instead, so that spoke volumes to us.

Not bad, just nothing worth driving a distance for. Definitely Americanized Thai food for the masses, but the service is impeccable. I have definitely had much better and find it difficult to believe how many people have rated this place with 5 stars. If you are in the mood for more authentic Thai food Sukothai or S&L Thai are more your tastes. This is a good starting point for those who have never had Thai food and trust me when I state the food is MILD.

Kinda late on this review but better late then never. Nice restraunt and the atmosphere was nice as well. What made me happy about this place is the food came out fast and hot. The staff was excellent and very nice , I had the the chicken pad thai requested it spicy and boy was it spicy it was excellent and i also had the angel wings it was cooked to perfection nice and crispy, i also had the fried banana with coconut ice cream all i can say is mmm yummy haha i had fried bananas at other restraunts which wasnt all that great but the fried bananas at this restraunt was very good. It is a drive for me since i live in antioch but it is well worth the drive i will be going back soon best thai restraunt ive been to.

Easily the best Thai restaurant in Fairfield, possibly the whole area including Vallejo and Vacaville. The portions for the price are reasonable and I've never had any issues as far as service. Very friendly staff and I like the decor inside. It's not a huge place but I've never had to wait long on a busy night. If you haven't already, you have to try the angel wings, it's different but really good. They know how to make their food spicy when you ask for spicy. I've tried their mango curry, eggplant, green beans, spicy catfish and fried rice, and I have no complaints. Just writing this review I feel like going there for lunch today! I've eaten at S&L a number of times and I always thought their food was OK, as long as BP is in Fairfield, I don't see myself going back. It's also close to my parent's house and right off the freeway so the location is a huge plus.

Everything is great here. Good friendly service. The food is delicious. I Love this place. The best in the area by far. Wonderful specials always. Big menu lots to choose from. One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

Should have just waited for Suhko Thai to open on Tuesday. Went to this place and had a hair in my food. Wasn't that tasty. Tasted bland and duck wasn't even really grilled. It tasted boiled. The sticky rice is embarrassing. I paid 9 bucks for 2 servings to take home and it was just old mashed rice with mang, sugar and milk. The people were nice but man the food was just unappetizing. Not eating here again ever. Not eating at Suhko was like picking a random barber. Just not smart.

I am new to the area moving in from out of state due to an assignment change (military). I come from a family where we enjoy cooking home cooked meals of authentic Thai/Laotian dishes. When I am not around my family, my next favorite thing to do is dine-out at new Thai restaurant's. So off I go in search of the food I love in my new home area. I did an online search for Thai places and yielded Bangkok Paradise. I was very excited to try my first California Thai restaurant. I ordered Papaya salad (or som thum if you're Thai), Lad Na, and Beef Lop. Dish #1 - Papaya Salad/Som Thum. The papaya salad/som thum was mediocre at best, failing to meet in the flavor department. The salad tasted much like shredded papaya smashed in unnecessary pepper. I've had many great spicy papaya salads in my life ranging from states of Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee and even the countries of Laos and Thailand. Maybe Bangkok Paradise had a new chef in the kitchen that day? I remained unsure so I gave them the free pass because Lad Na and Lop was next. Side note: Thumbs down for the stinginess of their sticky rice. The portion they provide was barely enough to feed an infant. It was good for 2 bites maybe? Dish #2 - Lad Na - Lad na has been one of my favorite dishes to eat ever since I can remember. I was hoping Bangkok Paradise would redeem itself from the lackluster papaya salad but the Lad Na also failed to meet expectations. The vegetables were well overcooked.. all I could taste was spicy pepper. Bite after bite I searched for a punch of lad na delicious flavor but could not find it instead I found myself looking for water. I like my food spicy... Thai spicy... but not just peppers and no flavor. Dish #3 - Beef Lop - It is extremely hard to mess up a Lop dish. Only thing I have to complain about the lop is that it's called Beef Lop but I'm pretty sure my dish was only 10% of actual beef and the rest filled was filled with cheap filler. Whatever they could throw in to take up space. CUSTOMER SERVICE - All I can say is WOW. It took maybe 45 minutes for the food to come out and another half hour if I wanted refills on my drink. I would have to say my experience was a big let down. 'Til next time..

Meh. We weren't thrilled with the food here. The pad kee mow and the pad see eiw were both lacking in flavor and were a little pricey. There are definitely better Thai places in the area.

This place is awesome! Was looking for a good Thai place as I just moved to the area. Ended up getting prawn pad thai and shrimp tom yum. So yummy and so spicy! I'll definitely be going back not only for the food but for the wonderful staff as well. They are so kind and polite! A new favorite place, for sure.

Close to home. Good service, good food, and location. It just opened up not too long ago, but it looks like a place that would stay open for business for a while. One of the better Thai places to eat at in Fairfield that's for sure.

After being a Yelp parasite for so very long, it's finally time for me to give back by writing my first review. Going to Tahoe, we found this place on Yelp. It's conveniently close to the freeway, the staff is very friendly, and the food tastes fresh and good. We had Tom Yum soup and pumpkin curry and they were both good.

My friend and I had Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles tonight. The food was ok, but the oil was overwhelming. I mean, both dishes were swimming in oil. If they do something about this, this place has potential.

This is my NEW favorite Thai restaurant.. not just in fairfield but period!! I love the decor and the most important part, the food is really really good! I'm officially addicted to this place if I had the money to eat here every day I probably would :) if I have to say something not so great is that the portions of curry is a lot smaller than other Thai restaurants for the same price. BUT the flavors are much better than any Thai restaurant I have tried to date. Everyone here is really nice and they all know me because I eat here so much.

The food here is amazing! I'm a picky eater and haven't eaten at a Thai place that's been satisfying came here with my husband and friends and I have to say the food was delicious! We ordered a lot of food too my recommendations would be the - angel wings, pad thai, fried calamari (they were light and crispy and tender), papaya salad was yummy and spicy! And for dessert either the Ro tee or fried banana both come with a mango coconut ice cream and they are so yummy!! Also the staff is very attentative to you definately will be coming back here!

Delicious panang curry tofu! My favorite dish, but everything I have tried here is amazing. Not only is the food great, the service is friendly and fast. Family owned, not a chain and worth every cent!

By golly, I've found a legitimate Thai place between the Bay and Sacramento! Bangkok Paradise was a find via the BF and Yelp and we were able to squeeze ourselves into the tiny establishment in the new commercial development near Manuel Campos and that big huge Lowe's they're building across from Texas Roadhouse. Now if I haven't painted a picture of where this place is - Lord help you with a map. The menu is extensive and the place prides itself on the rank of spice you can add to your dishes. Now, I love spicy food. I mean, I'm Indian right? Well my Indian BF and I couldn't handle this kind of spice. We got the Thai Chicken Wings EXTRA SPICY and just about died. There were tons that came in the appetizer order and just looking at them gave me heartburn. Then we ate them. And then we fell apart into our Thai Iced Teas and our cups of water. We were smart enough to eat half of our spring rolls before the wings so that once the spice nearly killed us we dived into the spring rolls in peanut sauce. Luckily for dinner, our red curry didn't induce the same gastric upset. Tasty, rich in flavor, the red curry was just enough spice (that we ordered Spicy) with lots of vegetables and tender chicken. Over a plate of white rice, it hit the spot and was a refreshing change from the fire wings. Although the wings were tremendously flame instigating, the people who work there are phenomenal. They were nice enough to not charge us for the wings because they saw how intense they were. On the flipside though, they also moved us from one table to another because another party that was larger than us came in and there wasn't a better table than ours to seat them. So I can't guarantee that you'll be so lucky. Great food. Great service. Need I say more?

Came here after a long day of wakeboarding at lake berryessa. Pad see ewe was bland. Basil beef was so-so. But what made it worse was that they used ground beef for the basil beef. Also ordered some green bean and vegetable dish. When we got the food, it was more like onions and a hint of veggies.

  • Geoffrey W.

Weird, I thought I had reviewed this place since I was not impressed. Its been awhile but seeing how there are so many people that have given there two cents I thought I should join the party. I mean, wow 122 reviews that's more than most that have been around for decades. Hum, it really makes you think. Either they are doing something right or they have a lot of friends. I mean friends are good to have right? I just wish they had thought of me as a friend. Although the food was OK, the service was lacking. They took the order and brought the food but it was more like I was at a food line, they just didn't seem to care about my future business. When I spend money if you make a mistake its OK if you are serious about fixing things, in those cases I will forgive and forget, but not caring from the moment we come in and giving us service is something I do not accept. There was only three tables in the place at the same time and or service was very casual but with no interaction and they only checked with us once the food was dropped. I am one that will buy in a restaurant if zI am sold, if not then I will only buy enough to keep me fueled for a short while. Also its nice if the people make it seem like they care about their food and place and show their excitement to the guests. One reason I go to Sukho Thai and no other Thai restaurants in this area.... sorry just what I feel....

Very good food. Deep fried banana is incredible. Try the angel wings... You won't be disappointed. We have been here probably 20 times and have never once been disappointed in anything we ordered. The restaurant is small but very nice, very clean, and not too loud. Staff is attentive, friendly, and helpful. We could not recommend this place enough!

Thanks to the previous great reviews on here... Me and my bf decided to try them. We ordered the Angel Wings and the seafood special. The wings were really good. Perfectly fried and crispy and the stuffing was still moist. The seafood special had a good variety of seafood. The waitress persuaded us into ordering the Ro- Tee for dessert and it was worth it. Its a cross between a donut and crepe. Its crispy but with a good chew to it. It came with a yummy mango coconut ice cream. Not to mention the plum sake I tried that was on the house! Really good. The wait staff is attentive and they didn't make us feel rushed at all when we were still eating past closing. Thanks guys for that :)

Delicious!! The angel wings and Tom Yum soup are a perfect lunch to share. The service here is excellent. Everyone is very friendly. I wasn't sure which sake to try so the manager suggested I taste three. The sour apple was my favorite! Bangkok Paradise, welcome to the neighborhood friends!

My first experience here was amazing, I got the Pad thai medium spicy and my mouth was on fire and I liked it. The second time I got mild spicy and it wasn't worth the 9ish dollars I paid. HOwever, the staff is super friendly and even got me water to drink while I waited for my pickup. Ill be coming back!

Amazing food and fantastic service! I LOVE spicy food and every restaurant I've ever been to has been unable to reach the level of heat I like. Until I came here. We ordered our spicy dishes as Thai Spicy (5 out of 5 on their heat scale) and finally got food that I didn't have to add more spice to. But regardless of the spicy, the food was incredibly flavorful. The mild dish we got was out of this world. Ingredients were fresh and perfectly prepared. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Answered all of our questions, checked on us regularly and didn't leave us waiting. We have a new favorite Thai restaurant.

Awful!! Just called to place a to go order but instead all I got was attitude. So I asked to speak to the owner and was told to call back in 5 min... so disappointed with costumer service here just awful. Ended up not ordering anything...

I went at lunch time to order a Thai soup and they were out even though it was on the lunch special monday - friday and it was only 45min into lunch. I ordered Thai basil Chicken. The food was way too salty and I ended up ordering what the waitress recommended to me; I waisted my food and then ended up in Jimboys getting a chicken burritto- Win!

Decent Thai food. Love the variety of choices and the place looks new and clean. You need to be honest about your preference on spiciness level though. Most people should go with 'medium'. I picked 'spicy' and it was really spicy even for Asians like me. I don't know if they put in extra chilies or they are just keeping it real. I'll definitely try again next time.

Very good Thai food in Fairfield. Flavor of food was great. Service was good. If I had to complain about one thing it would just be $6.50 for a glass of Kendall Jackson Merlot.....a little high, but decent wine so I went for it...lol. Overall, refreshing choice for Thai in town with a clean, sleek atmosphere.

Was on the north side of Fairfield for business and searched Yelp for a Thai food restaurant in the area. Bangkok Paradise came up as an option and was close so I gave it a shot. Wow! What great place with good atmosphere for a strip center with the food being the real star of the show. Had a cup of chicken Tom Yum for an appetizer along with the chicken red curry lunch special and was extremely pleased with both dishes. I can't imagine anyone going wrong by giving this place a try. It's recommendations like this that make Yelp invaluable to me when traveling around the country.

A very interesting restaurant. They give thai food a modern spin and make really interesting. I can't recommend a specific dish because all the ones I have tried so far have been delicious!!! Very good service; they are paying attention of you needs all the time, they would bring you more water right before your glass is empty :-)

Yummy! Good service, good food, good location (close to home!!!). Everything is custom ordered; so you can get it as spicy as you want, etc with or without this and that... Ordered Drunken Noodles, Angel Wings, Shrimp Spring Rolls and Thai Fried Rice. Everything was yummy.

Fairfield needs more places like this. I managed to spot this driving home...had never noticed it before, so I'm not too sure when they opened. The interior is updated and clean, and they are at the corner of the building so there are a lot of windows. Fairly small place, but cozy. Our waiter was awesome, and the service was very good. Never had an empty glass of water. The dishes were good - red curry with beef, and cashews with chicken-and I'm always a fan of Thai iced tea. :)

Yesterday I went to Bangkok Paradise for my cousin's birthday lunch. I ordered the yellow curry chicken and steam rice. My food came out fast, hot and superb! The spices were on point and the flavor was so good I used all the sauce on my rice. I'll be coming back here very soon!

My husband and two friends decided to try this place based on the Yelp reviews (which we have found fairly reliable for the most part). To say that this was one of the worst experiences we have ever had would be an understatement; for starters, the server was very snarky which did not bode well for our experience. Still, I was hopeful. All four of us were very hungry, so we ordered a ton of food. For appetizers we ordered the chicken wings, lemon chicken and spring rolls, and I requested basil instead of mint in the spring rolls. The spring rolls are served as three whole rolls cut in half for six servings. One of my friends and I had 1/2 roll each and upon the first couple of bites I realized there was no basil in it. I mentioned to our server that there was no basil in the rolls and he said: "of course there is; there!" he said, pointing at a sprig of cilantro on my plate. Now, I am of Hispanic descent but you don't need to be to know the difference between Thai basil and cilantro. I told our server: "that's not basil; that's cilantro" and he gave me "the look," grabbed the plate and walked away without saying a word. He came back with two spring rolls split in half (four pieces). I thought it was cheesy that they were short-changing us the first two pieces we tried which were not what we had ordered but again, I figured I would just let it slide since ultimately it wasn't a big deal (still cheesy, though). The main dishes arrived about five minutes after our appetizers, so we basically had to rush and finish our appetizers before the main food got cold. The table quickly got crowded with dishes, so we moved the appetizers to one plate and piled up the other two dishes on top of each other to make room for the main dishes. Our not so friendly server still did not bother to pick up the dishes, so we barely had any room on the table. Still, I figured (hoped, really) that the food would be worth the poor service. I ordered the eggplant with chicken. My husband had the yellow curry, and our two friends ordered Pad Si Ew (sp?), shrimp drunken noodles, and pineapple shrimp curry -- we ordered all of them spicy. We took a few first bites and quickly realized we have been duped; the food was bland and tasteless, the eggplant was slimy and nasty, my husband's yellow curry had no discernable taste and the only thing that tasted like it should in the pinneaple shrimp was the shrimp itself. What a major disappointment the meal was! I am never one to leave food on the table but this time, all of our barely-eaten food stayed behind -- no doggie bags for us! I can usually stand poor service if the food is good and I can be forgiving if the food is bad but the service pleasant. However, there was nothing redeeming about this place. If I could give it minus stars, I wholeheartedly would!

We had egg rolls for appetizer and drunken noodles, sticky rice and fried rice. Also had Thai coffee to go which was delicious! Came back a week later cuz I already was craving this place and had spicy catfish and red curry which was scrumptious. Definitely can't go wrong here :) Staff is friendly and I love that they have either lemon, orange or cantaloupe in their pitcher of water..

We came in for dinner about a little over an hour before closing time. The staff was extremely welcoming and let us sit where we wanted. The decor is more modern than most Thai restaurants I've been to, with a couple large screen TVs and a very nice bar area. We sat in view of one of the TVs didn't feel it took away from our dining experience at all. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the BBQ Chicken and Garlic Pepper Beef dishes, along with the cucumber salad and two Sing-Ha beers. The food was very tasty and the cucumber salad was one of the best we had. The beef had a little bit of a kick to it but the chicken was mild. The portions were just right for us (we didn't order any rice). Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would recommend trying. We will definitely be coming back to try more of the menu!

Great food. All the dishes have their own flavors. I have been here a few times and have tried a lot of the dishes. Comes out fast and hot. And it will be spicy hot if you want it that way. They have a nice clean restaurant with great service. Another great thing is they are just off 80 so I can stop on my way home.

Appetizer (1/5): I got their fresh spring rolls with shrimp, it came in 3 large pieces cut in half. Each half piece had half a piece of shrimp in it. I was really disappointed with this dish because it was 90% lettuce and there was barely any clear rice noodles or shrimp in the rolls. For 7.95, I wasn't expecting to only be munching on lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was really runny and sweet, not the peanut sauce I'm used to eating spring rolls with. Food (5/5): I ordered the duck curry, medium spicy with a side of white rice. This place honestly has the best duck curry I've ever had. They didn't skimp on the duck meat, it was great. I seriously have no complaints at all. Price (3.5/5): I feel like this place overall is 1 dollar more per dish than other thai places I've been to, but if everything is as good as the duck curry, it's well worth the price. I wouldn't recommend the spring rolls though. Also, I didn't get to order their desserts, but their mango with sticky rice was actually cheaper here than any other Thai places I've been too--so maybe their prices even out? Service (3.5/5): Our waitress was really sweet but seemed to be scared/jittery. I came in around 8:30 and arrived before my friend, so I decided to get a table for us. A different waitress told me to sit where ever and when I did, my waitress came and asked me if I was ready to order (lol, what?) and then she stopped herself, walked away, and brought me one menu. I told her that I was waiting for a friend, she said "oh," walked away and brought back another menu...and then she walked away again to bring me two plates and silverware. After all that walking, she asked if I was ready to order again (I didn't even look at the menu at this point) and I told her no, I was going to wait for my friend and asked if she could bring us some waters. She did, and less than a minute later (didn't even touch my water) she came to fill up our cups to the top--her hand was shaking the whole time. Overall (4-4.5/5): I would 100% come back here, I want to try their ice thai tea (not sure if they even have it on their menu to be honest, but I'm sure they do), their desserts, and more of their curries!

I really enjoyed my lunch here. I am by no means a Thai food aficionado, this is only my third time eating Thai but man was it tasty. BK and I started out with the chicken satay and it was delicious, the flavor of the sauce jumped out at you... Starting to get hungry again... We ordered family style and went with the citrus chicken, pineapple fried rice, and spicy beef. All of these dishes were exceptional! The one that really stands out is the citrus chicken, the fried chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was splendid. The citrus flavor mixed with the consistency of the chicken mad a great combination. The spicy beef was good too. The beef was both tender and flavorful; a great combination. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Service was good too, our server took the time to explain the different sauces and spices. I will for sure be making another trip!

Maybe a year ago I would give this place a 5 out of 5 start review however my recent visit wasn't as great. I used to come to this restaurant all the time because it was the best Thai place in town, probably one of the best in general. However, in my recent visit I felt quite a change. Not only in the food but in the service. The service wasn't as friendly or helpful as before, they seemed more annoyed. It could be they had a bad day or maybe I was asking for too much but if you're working in customer service all of that shouldn't even matter. The food was mediocre and the servings got smaller. The only thing that stayed the same was the papaya salad. The papaya salad was still delicious, had the lemon flavor and lots of peppers! I order this every time I come and never am I once disappointed. We also got the combination seafood salad I believe it's called. This salad's proportions were mainly noodles and lettuce, barely anything else. It had a more blander taste compared to the papaya salad and I wish the salad came with more seafood. The yellow curry was okay, I did notice they really downgraded the portions because there was barely any broth. There were so much potatoes and it was hard to eat because I like my curry to be brothy. The flavors were good but portion wise it wasn't enough. The pad Thai was so bland and didn't taste like pad Thai. The tofu was so fried and didn't taste juicy at all. The chicken was over cooked and the noodles didn't have enough sauce. This is definitely not one of their best dishes. The drunken noodles were also one of their bad dishes, to me it tasted like chow fun. There was no flavor to it. I was really disappointed because both of their noodle dishes weren't good at all. I'm not sure what happened to this place but the food is lacking much flavor, not sure if I'll be coming back again.

Best Thai restaurant thus far. This is a true family owned restaurant. Dad is the chef, Mum and daughter kitchen prep, and son is waiter. Mum also waits tables. Friends recommended this awesome restaurant to us. On our first visit, Mae, (mother) sat and chatted with us, and we discussed the art of cooking Thai food, which I love. She even picked and gave me fresh lemon lime Thai leaves. We were also given a courtesy sweet rice and mango. We have returned a few times, when our palettes are in need of fantastic home made and scrumptious Thai food. It is small and food amazing

So we did decide to try this place again. We placed our order of Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Panang, & a side of rice to go. It was out pretty fast for a busy Friday night. We got home and dug in. The Pad Thai was just okay not as flavorful as we would have liked and lacking on the chicken. The tofu was extremely dry and very chewy. The Panang was even more disappointing as the sauce was very watery and lacking the normal "punch" of Panang. We decided we are headed back to Bangkokian Thai next time and we will give this place a break for a few months and then we will give it one last try..

Whenever it's time to celebrate an occasion with a large group, we always seem to choose Bangkok Paradise. Genial owner and chef Tui is a warm and welcoming presence that caters to our every need. No matter who is out front serving us, the food always comes out quickly and correctly. It's a great place to bring mixed groups of eaters so long as they all like Thai food. The kids enjoy it since there's battered 'n fried entrees that aren't traditionally Thai, along with other deep fried Thai appetizers We are thrilled that they know what the word "Vegan" actually means. You would be shocked how many Thai places don't get this concept, despite appearing to be Vegetarian friendly at first glance. If you throw out the "V" word, your're assured that your food will not be doused in oyster or fish sauce. That earns bonus points from me. I've ordered the Drunken Noodles on two occasions here. The first time, they were not all that good. The second time, they were really, really good to the point that I finished the large plate despite not being incredibly full. It is a really greasy, heavy dish so be prepared. The Eggplant Basil is probably my favorite dish here. This last visit, it was spectacular. I suppose it depends on who's in the kitchen. The eggplant was perfectly cooked in texture as well as having that "smoky" flavor. About the only thing that can't be Veganized here is the curries except for the Mango Curry. It's a nice alternative to the other dishes that we usually order, but to me it's not a real curry unless it's green. It's good, but I prefer to order either of the above two dishes over this. If you're looking for a place to bring a large group, or even have a relaxed date night, Bangkok Paradise is a wise choice should you find yourself in no man's land area of Fairfield.

"Thai-way Robbery" Before I get into anything else, I want to address the trumped up, $2 charge for a small bowl of steamed rice... WTH?! So, what you're saying is that unlike most establishments where white rice accompanies an entree item, you have to pay extra here?... Maybe I'm missing something?... Is it special?! Is it "Steamed Rice Fortified" w/vitamins A & D?! New & Improved with extra Oriental Flavor Crystals?... WHAT?!!! Probably not... 'But WHAT that tells me is that by charging your clientele an additional $2 for rice, on top of the price of the entree, is pure & simple GREED. It is nothing more than an attempt to squeeze more $ out of the customers. Fail. That's like a Mexican restaurant charging extra for beans?! - "Orale vato loco!" 'Or "In & Out" charging extra for the hamburger buns?! - "Animal Style!" 'A salad bar charging an extra fee for lettuce?!... 'A pub charging you to lease the beer mug?... L-A-M-E. (You get the idea.) REMiNDER NOTE: Next time, BYOR - "Bring Your Own Rice." $2 for a small bowl of rice?... WTH?! That is just lame. I smell "Thai-way Robbery!..." 'Or was that my cabbage-pad thai entree? ('Talk about taking advantage...) Now, on to the rest of the review: 'From the overall reviews I was hoping for "Very good," but instead, it was "Very m'eh..." (Shrugs) I expected more than what we experienced. 'Across the board, from the food to the service, mediocre @ best. Store Front - yelp.com/biz_photos/bang… 'Walked in & I'd have to say, not the most friendliest or inviting of first impressions... The younger, bald gentlemen in their bar area, looked in our direction, in which I smiled & said hello.... 'No greeting, no smile, nada. - LOL "Hey Mr. Clean, you chose to work here, not me! So, don't look at me like I just ate your Cocker Spaniel." (But, I wonder if that's on the menu.) I'm kidding!... I prefer black dog, more tender. The lady who seated us was cordial but so is the automated voice system when I call the bank... "Press 1 for menus, 2 for water, 3 for..." (Throughout the meal, our waitress did come by to check on us but only after having to flag her over.) 8/ Is it chilly in here? Yeh, the customer service was pretty flat. (Insert sound of Whoopee Cushion here) Our Order: Thai Ice Coffee ($2.50): Okay; average Thai Ice Tea ($2.50): Okay; average Photo - yelp.com/biz_photos/bang… Green Curry Chicken ($7.95) - Good flavor; very little chicken; small portions Photo -http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/bangkok-paradise-fairfield?select=t0p2qCql3GLsIz7ZRR9CHQ#dj7sszOjrONwocPMLomEVg Pad Thai Combination ($10.95): "Filler"; watery; weak flavor; stingy w/chicken; 3 pieces of shrimp; small portions; "Bad Thai" I have never had Pad Thai served with cabbage. (i.e. - Filler) After all, this isn't an appetizer that needs extra "stuff" on the plate to take up space... It's an entree! Photo - yelp.com/biz_photos/bang… BBQ Chicken ($9.95) - Decent flavor; dry; okay portions Rice ($2) - FAIL; already covered in detail. (*See above) Grand Total: $38.94 (+ Tip) I've been to a good number of Thai Restaurants in LA and South Orange County, where there are a "few" to choose from... 'And when I say few, I mean a lot. As I've written before, customer service will make or break any experience whether it's a Five Star Michelin rated restaurant or some greasy spoon eatery tucked down a dimly lit, side street... After all, it's the entire experience as a whole that will make a patron return, good food alone is not suffice. 'Needless to say, the food @ Bangkok Paradise was just "okay." I would definitely revisit an establishment with okay food and exceptional service... Here, the service was lacking. As other yelp*ers have noted, the customer service needs a bit fine tuning. (Do these people think they're the only Pad Thai or Green Curry game in town?... 'Sheesh.) I don't need anyone to kiss my @ss or wait on me hand & foot but I don't want to be treated like the unwanted stepchild either... (I get enough love like that from my own friends & family.) After trying Bangkok Paradise, I suggest trying someplace else first... 'Where you can get more "Bang," for your "Kok!" People rave about this place but for the $$, "cold" service, small portions, and don't forget the greedy, $2 bowl of steamed rice... It was awesomely m'eh. "NEXT?!!!" - Big Aloha & Make it Great! Food: 3 Ambiance: 2+ Service: 2 Value: 2

We've always enjoyed this restaurant. We get the Tom ka guy soup (I don't think that's the correct spelling phonetically that how to say it), pad Thai, and red curry. We been coming here for over three years. My children love the pad Thai and soup.

WOWzers, this place is sooooo yummy! Found my new fave Thai spot, why does it have to be so far from San Ramon? -_- Anyways, got there around lunchtime & it wasn't busy at all. They have a bar area & the seating is pretty spacious for how small the place is. They have TV's that were playing Sportscenter, love it! Went here with my cousins so we all ordered & shared the following: #7 CRISPY YAMS: deep fried sweet potato served with peanut sauce. OMGOMG, Sooooo good!!!!! Totally recommend!!! YUMMERS! #40 GREEN BEANS: Greens beans sauteed with onions, bell peppers, bamboo shoots and chili paste. We got it vegetarian style, with tofu. The tofu was grilled so it wasn't so raw tasting. So yummy!!! #53 SHRIMP PAD THAI: Basic Pad Thai. My cousin ordered this & it was pretty good :) #60 BANGKOK FRIED RICE (PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE): I ordered it with chicken so that my cousins can eat it too. It was soooo good! I am on like a pineapple fried rice kick! Love it! They had a special that I couldn't find on their menu, I want to say it was called CHICKEN MANGO CURRY, sooooooo delicious. It had bamboo shoots too. It might be limited special for the time. Either way, I say give it a try! For dessert, we ordered the THAI-TANIC: Combination of fried banana, sweet sticky rice, ro-tee & Ice cream. It doesn't usually come with Mango but we requested it. Gahhhhhhhhh, HEAVEN for a sweet tooth! It was the right amount of sweet & the heat from the fried banana & the coldness from the ice cream was a perfect combo! Oh yeah, I also ordered a Thai Iced Tea, how can you go wrong with it, right? But yessssss, my new fave Thai spot in Fairfield ;) You will not be disappointed. The service is up there with the quality of food :)

Customer service was amazing. Very friendly and personable. Our server was willing to adjust the menu to suit for our specific taste. Vegetables were fresh, the fruit was delicious. We over all had 7 dishes at our table, including soup, and everything was delicious Will def be eating here again when we are in the area.

Heard this place was great, so I tried it out. To be fair, I'm not big on Thai food to begin with, but what the hell. Place is actually really nice inside, super clean and staff is really friendly. Food was fresh for sure, but nothing special. I've had Thai other places (reluctantly) that seemed better to me. Overall, a good experience in a town without much to offer in the way of Thai food. I would go back, but I don't expect to be wow'd ...

Went to this place last month with my father. He was craving some Thai. He ordered a seafood curry and I got a yellow curry that had tripe and chicken in it with veggies. Before we ordered my dad talked about his experience when he was in Thailand before, and asked if their version of "hot" was the same. The server said yes and advised that we get the peppers on the side if we never had it before. (I originally ordered hot), so I agreed to the slight change to my order, and boy was I happy. I enjoyed the food so much, but I had way too much confidence in myself when trying to eat my food with the peppers. I was on fire and I was sweating halfway through my meal. I ended up having to take the rest home since I couldn't stand the heat. I would definately order it again, but I'll be carefull about how hot I order it next time.

For the first time we tried the garlic crab noodles. It was outstanding! We ate it all so fasssst. We missed taking a picture of it. It was flavorful. The crab was meaty. Not imitation. Of course the citrus chicken was plentiful and fried just right. The chicken was moist in large portions. The lemon dipping sauce was so goood. Here, they add tempura vegetables. Wow! Not only so much food but damn tasty food. The Panang curry with prawns in medium heat was cooked to appease my pallette. We topped our lunch off with mango sweet sticky rice. This was added bonus. No complaints on service since we were given home hospitality and made to feel like I arrived at uncles house. Thank you. Atmosphere is clean. Parking is easy. Close to Lowes so I can shop and walk my meal off. 2 thumbs up for a great experience overall.

Really good food and service here. If you eat at a lot of asian restaurants, all of them kind of start to taste similar, but I find this one unique in flavor. It doesn't really matter what I order, as long as I get the lobster fried rice.

I had the papaya salad and I could tell that they did not use fresh lime juice. I make this dish all the time which I learned from my mama, and I can taste the difference when it's fresh lime juice or the one from the bottle. I would suggest using fresh limes because you can definitely taste the difference

Craving Thai food and meeting up with some family visiting from out of town. Yelp steered us to this place and it was a great choice! Interior is new and clean, very nicely done. We started with the (unfried) shrimp spring rolls which were incredibly fresh and large. Lots of crunch and the shrimp was tasty. My entree was the Pad Thai which had incredible flavor and a healthy pile of fresh bean sprouts. Many Pad Thai dishes are heavy, but this one tasted fresh and light! Servers were very attentive and patient with the two kids we had with us. We appreciated the attention!

The spiciest thai food I ever ate, don't get me wrong now cos I am an Indian and we can eat spicy, but this was something else. Very tasty and delicious but trust them when they say 'You really want it no 5 spicy' that just means you wont be able to handle it. Now every time we go to Napa this is going to be our 'must eat at restaurant'.

This is one of the Thai places I go to in Fairfield. They have fast and friendly service, and they have very good food. I love Thai food and I order it any chance I get, either in the Bay Area, Sacramento, or somewhere in between. That said, I think this place is okay. The servings of noodles are a little small for me for the amount they charge. I would expect more for the money I pay, comparing it to the other Thai restaurants. However, the crowd was good for kids and the place was very decent and clean. The service was good and we had a good time. Just a warning if you haven't been here before: the Pad Thai was good, a little too sweet for my liking and they served it in a nice-sized plate, though half of my plate was occupied by bean sprouts (and I thought I paid for the noodles, not the garnish). Regardless, I ate it all. We also ordered Pad Ke Maw that was very good (still could use a little bit more noodles) and Pad Se Ew that my kids just love (typically my two little boys will have enough noodles to share in one order, but this one also needed more noodles). Anyway, we had a great time and will eat here again - if it was the closest Thai restaurant to us.

Walked in at 5 min before closing, we were welcomed to sit down and eat. Food and service were absolutely wonderful!!! Definitely a place to frequent!!

This is on the top 3 of my Thai food places to go in the Bay Area! Place is clean, workers are friendly. I go here to much they all know my name and my regular order! Favorite dish, is the chicken red curry medium spice! My cousin and auntie come here all the way from South San Francisco as well. My besties comes from Bay Point and she says it's the best Thai food she has had - EVER You must try this place at least once, and tell me I'm wrong!

I met my boyfriend here on his lunch break and first noticed this place was small, yet had nice decor. It was tucked away in a weird little shopping center that housed El Pollo Loco, CVS and Jimboy's Tacos. My boyfriend and I ordered the papaya salad and the citrus chicken lunch plate. The papaya salad was decent, but I didn't appreciate the huge chunks of tomatoes. The citrus plate was okay, but comparing it to S&L Thai, the citrus sauce was disgusting. I ended up eating the crispy chicken and rice, no sauce - not worth the money! Later in the week, my mom ordered food to go - chow fun, curry fried rice and spring rolls. The chow fun was forgettable, curry fried rice was good yet raisins were a little weird, and the spring rolls were probably the worst I've had ever! The peanut sauce that accompanied the rolls was watery and only slightly resembled the taste of peanut butter. I really want to like this place, but it's hard when the food has no flavor or the sauces can't enhance or compliment the food! I definitely do not recommend this place - go to S&L Thai instead!

My first visit here a few weeks ago was awesome, but yesterday (my second time) made me change my mind completely. I ordered to-go an hour before they close (that's plenty of time and the restaurant wasn't busy) and I ended up waiting 10 mins for the server to finish talking to take my order + 30 mins for the food. They brought out all the food for customers that dined in after me and THEN they make my food. Seriously? While sitting there I also saw the younger chef just sitting at a table chilling with people, touching things, and then he goes straight to the kitchen to cook my food. I already had a bad feeling and it didn't help when the chefs kept looking over to check on me, as if they know they messed up the dishes for whatever reason. Well they did. What I ordered for 4 people: Shrimp Pad thai - super dry this time and there was only 3 pieces of shrimp?? Chicken Lard salad - I didn't eat this but there was absolutely no meat. Chicken Thai Fried Rice - So nasty. 3-4 small strips of chicken max. The only seasoning they used was the spicy pepper that they use for everything. I mean I like the spice but just mixing that with rice is not what you call "Thai Fried Rice"! Crab Fried Rice - Exactly the same as thai fried rice with very very little crab pieces. The worst part: All of us had really bad stomaches that lasted all night until the next afternoon. And no it was not the spiciness because we can handle way spicier dishes and have never had a problem. (We tried their thai spicy last time we came too.) I feel like the chefs knew they messed up, took a long time, but still served it to us. Now I'm hesitant to come back.

Wasn't a huge fan of this place. I've been here three times now and I've never been blown away. The service is nice. The location is nice and nestled away giving it a cozy feeling. The food isn't bad, but compared to some other spots nearby it just isn't too crazy enough for me to drive out here and eat. I ordered the Pad Thai and it was ok. Overall, I'd recommend giving Sukhothai a look in Suisun! I find it an overall better spot!

As soon as I walked in I received a friendly greeting. I chose a special, the garlic noodles and chicken. It was prepared in less than 5 minutes. I wanted plumb wine but they didn't have it so peach sake was suggested and it was very good. I would give 5 stars but I reserve that for when I'm wowed. But I ordered to go. I would highly recommend this resturant.

A note: if your hours are posted as 9:30, then you should stay open until 9:30, not 9. Pretty frustrating to not be able to try this place out due to misinformation.

Too much Americanized Thai food. I have been to Thailand and love their local food but food at this shop was totally different than Thailand Thai food.

So finally doing this review and had to do it while here just to be in the moment. So first off... Location is cool. Parking will be a bit of a struggle as it is in a smaller plaza but the place itself is roomy, with a modern setting. They have a bar but I'm not really sure what they serve there. There is only one booth and can seat about 6. The other tables seat 4 but they did offer to combine tables for larger parties. The place is clean. The lighting is just right and it's not noisy. We ordered po tak, beef larb, green curry, pad thai, chicken satay, and garlic calamari. Presentation is what to expect from a Thai restaurant. They pass here with flying colors. Portions... This is where I have a problem. It's blatantly obvious they are generous on things like larb because it's cheap. Noodles are also pretty generous like pad Thai. But the satay, garlic calamari, and green curry are short servings for family style. They really skimp out on items that may cost more per pound. I can literally count 8 calamari strips in the garlic calamari and the satay skewers came with 5 very small pieces. For their prices, I don't feel the taste supplements enough for the lack of portions. I can say that the larb was very tasty and so was the curry. The pad Thai was decent and I would not have ordered the garlic calamari as the calamari was over cooked and it wasn't tasty. In fact, where was the garlic? The wifey gave the Thai iced tea an ok, which would be a ewwww in rating for her. We skipped dessert because we did order a lot. The wifey enjoyed the larb immensely. She ate it all. Shhhhh!!! keep that between you and me. The service was great. These are nice people. I would come back for the curry, and larb, po tak, and the service. Now the big question...do I get to visit thigh land?

Since I live close, I decided to try it out and wasn't disappointed and have been coming here for a while. Their week day lunch specials are the best! Love the curries and I'm a fan of the citrus chicken.

Great food but the service is painfully slow. There were only about eight people here for lunch and my meal (soup and spring rolls) took nearly 30 minutes. Even my glass of water took 10 minutes after I sat down. Prices are good.

This is one of the Thai places I would prefer to go eat at in town. The place is clean and well managed although there wasn't much customers. It was probably because it was a Wednesday when I went. I love how the waiter would always come check up on me and asked if I needed anything else instead of sitting down and staring off to space. I ordered the red curry and it was pretty good. I've ate many kinds of curry but this one stood out. Their papaya salad was good also! I love spicy papaya salads and they really got me on that, they made it really spicy. I didn't give it a five star because I thought the price was a bit high. But other than that, I would totally come back next time.

This is the second time that we have been to this restaurant. We went when it first opened and it was poor. We thought, give them some time, maybe they were working out theory lames. Our second time and the food is not very good. My wife and I really love Cuisine from Bangkok area of the world, it can be very rich in flavor, spices and uses fresh produce. This restaurant has 60 plus items on its menu and for a small restaurant that is a lot. I think they are reaching to have such a large menu. I would advise them to focus in on some basic recipes and make those recipes really well and build a customer base on great food and not having a large selection on the menu and poor food. Last item, the food was overpriced for the food delivered. I have no problem paying $45 for two people if the food is good, but the food was not. The service was excellent the restaurant is clean and his modern and looks great. I think with a new McDonald opening just up the street will be hurting the business. Now is the time to improve your recipes and get a solid menu, or else McDonalds will effect your business. Good luck.

Had a craving for Thai ice tea and went to the right spot. Their tea is super sweet and I went the extra mile and had one of their l desserts. I believe it's called ro tee? Thai crepe with coconut ice cream. YUMZ. Btw, ask for a knife bc cutting with just a spoon is time consuming and frustrating. If their desserts are this yummy I look forward to their actual meals.

The BEST Thai place ever!!!! Countless vegetarian options, the spicy is actually SPICY, food is flavorful, staff nice, portions large, the building is clean. Every time I come I eat more than I entend just because it is SO GOOD! My favorites are the pumpkin curry, green, red and yellow curries, drunken noodles, and the vegetarian spring & egg rolls.

Decent place to get Thai food. Tried this place twice and it was good. I get my usual spicy noodle assortment and it was good but lacked something in flavor. Not sure what it was....perhaps pepper? Or some form of Thai seasoning? Calamari was delicious and my friends curry was also quite tasty but seemed a tad watery. I also agree with some peoples reviews that the service needs to be a bit better. They quickly sit you down and ignore you for a bit and also when you get served, it seems like they never come back. lol This has been both cases when I came here when it was dead slow and crazy busy. Food decent but not extraordinary or unique , service meh, so maybe I'll drop by and eat again.....someday.

This place by far has been one of he best Thai restaurants that I have been too! The food is AMAZING the staff is chill the ambiance is well light, all 3 times that I have been there It was pretty packed even for a weekday. We decided to check this place out off there reviews which was a obviously was a good decision we had the sautéed eggplant in coconut sauce with a side of steamed rice, always fresh and made to order. Our go to Thai restaurant!

This place was delicious! Service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. Portion sizes are average as are the prices. Staff really goes above and beyond to provide exemplary customer service. There was a bit of a wait and the staff kept apologizing for it. The restaurant is small and the waiting area is small so wear comfortable shoes and bring a jacket if it is cold because waiting takes place right in front of the door. The spring rolls were absolutely delicious as were the thick flat noodles (which the name of escapes me right now). I was not as impressed with the barbecue chicken or the cashew chicken. I would skip those. You MUST end your meal with the mango and sticky rice. It was divine!!!!!!! Overall, the food is good and the service is awesome! I highly recommend Bangkok Paradise!

Absolutely love this place! I was one of the first customers and I have been one ever since. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a warm welcome and excellent service until the end. All the food is very fresh! All of it is cooked to order. Our favorites are chicken Larb salad, basil beef, vegetable deluxe with chicken, brown rice fried rice with shrimp and chicken skewers. The only con and why I didn't give 5 stars is there portions could be bigger especially the basil beef. This doesn't stop me from coming here! My favorite part is they have brown rice and the quality of food. If your looking for Thai food or just good eats definitely check this place out!

Absolutely delicious, every single time. We had a Thai friend come and visit and we took her there for her "stamp of approval" and she thoroughly enjoyed everything! We are quite adventurous and love spicy food, we always appreciate how the chefs make everything to our taste and remember our preferences. We are very fortunate to have this restaurant in fairfield. We would definitely recommend!

Bangkok Paradise is a family-owned restaurant, but a repeat customer won't need much time before feeling himself a part of that family. Tui, the man in charge, and his staff go beyond the call of duty in making everyone feel welcome, and any questions regarding the food choices are answered graciously and patiently. The food is uniformly excellent no matter what you order, and those who like a heat level beyond the usual "Americanized bland" will find Tui more than accommodating. (That's a warning as well as a suggestion!) Bangkok Paradise is located right off the I-80 freeway, so it's a perfect stopover for anyone who, for example, travels between the Bay Area and Sacramento (such as us). Very highly recommended!

We came on a Thursday evening and ordered crispy tofu, panang beef, calamari salad, pad thai, and thai tanic for 60 - Friendly and welcoming. Lots of hellos right when we entered. "sit anywhere you want! like basketball? hope the seats are comfy" :) - No facebook like discounts this time, try next time. fail. - Fast service. food came out looking great and hot - Calamari salad was deLISH. very tender. almost sashimi like. lol. the right pinch of sour I wanted - Beef panang had lots of sauce! beef was also "so so very" tender. haha. loved it. just wished it came with more - Lots of crispy tofu! thin slices for a perfect bite! nice knife. love the ridges, just like on the potatoes in the panang - I didn't try the pad thai bc by then i needed to save room for dessert! - Dessert was NOM NOM! fried banana, sticky rice, ice cream, roti pancake! When I was in LV at big wong they had roti pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar. It was so good. I was very pleased to eat it again here too :)!!! nom nom

The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. The portions are nice and the spiciness is decent (spicier than other places). I came here with my family and we got 5 different plates tried em all and it's all good. I got the spicy chicken didn't have as much chicken as I would like and you have to order a separate rice order so if ur tight on money you shouldn't come here because you also have to leave at least 15% tip. I will be back again tho :)

Was deceived by good reviews and nice pictures. Ordered the coconut soup which was so salty it was not edible but still had to pay 10 dollars for it. The vegetarian fresh rolls were literally 7 dollars for some tiny amount of veggies wrapped in iceberg lettuce that tasted like nothing with disgusting "peanut sauce " the only edible thing was the silver noodles with veggies but even that was pretty bland n unsatisfying. The server was nice n didn't make us pay for the awful fresh rolls. Very disappointing dinner

Best Thai food in the Fairfield-Suisun-Vacaville area. The staff & chefs are SO nice- service is fantastic. The food is absolutely wonderful. But for people not too accustomed to spicy food, be careful with the spice ratings you choose for your dishes. My family is Indian, we eat spicy food a LOT, and we love it! But even we stay at a spice level of 3 for our food. My dad made the mistake of ordering his & my little sister's food on level 5 during his first visit. HUGE mistake. (This is someone who eats jalepenos raw & plain, typically drenches his Chinese food in chili paste, & asks for extra wasabi when we go for sushi. LOL) The staff & chefs were great & re-made his food at a 3. Parking can be tricky depending on what time you go, but I don't mind parking near the El Pollo Loco or another restaurant behind them & just making the short walk over there. Our favourite dishes are the Pad Se Ew & the Basil Chicken. We always get Thai Fried Rice with chicken, too. I had a catfish dish here once that was AWESOME. We eat here ALLLL the time, & I like to order ahead & pick up dinner on my way home. The staff know my order as soon as me or my sister calls. It's great & the service is part of the reason we keep going back.

Don't order anything above "mild" spiciness if you cannot take spicy food! This is an authentic Thai restaurant, meaning food can be VERY VERY spicy. There are 5 levels of spiciness for the food in this restaurant, with them being: * mild * medium * spicy * very spicy * thai spicy My friends and I who went there were chinese so we thought we can take on their spicy food.... but no we were wrong. The medium spicy fried rice was so spicy that it reminded me my trip to Sri Lanka (also another southeastern asian country with very spicy food). My other friend, who came from the part of China which is famous for spiciest chinese food, couldn't even take the "spicy" level of Pad Thai. That Pad Thai looked like there was half a bottle of Sriracha chili paste in it. We wonder what "Thai spicy" level actually tastes like and would make eating a dish of "Thai spicy" fried rice the punishment of a bet next time. Other than the food being too spicy, the food actually tasted quite good.

This is the best Thai food!! My family eats here at least once a week. Not only is the food great but the staff is amazing! They are all so nice and try to get to know you. Since we always eat there they already know what we want to order. It just shows that they really care about their customers and try to make it personal!! Definitely recommend!!!

I honestly want to root for you Bangkok Paradise, but I can't. Although you have the sweetest waitress working behind the counter, I wasn't the biggest fan of your $10.81 Chicken Pad Thai that I ordered to-go. It was presented beautifully in my take-out box, but one thing that lacked the most was the flavor. It was very bland and even if you squeeze some of the lemon on top, it still lacks in flavor. In a nutshell, wonderful customer service, mediocre pad thai.

I love Thai food and this place is definitely worth a second trip. I loved the food and the atmosphere was friendly. I ordered the Basil Calamari, my friend had the Tofu Yellow Curry, my sister had the chicken Rad-Nah, and my brother had the spicy Drunken Noodles. Everyone loved their dish and I was especially happy with the way my calamari was cooked. We also shared a small carafe of apple sake, which was absolutely delicious. We ended our meal with Roti. The warm crepe with the cool coconut-pineapple ice cream was sooo good. This is good little place an I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. :)

Considering the area and the limited availability of Asian food and Thai food even more specifically I'll give this place a solid and well deserving 3 stars strictly based on the food and level of service. We ordered 4 dishes, the first being chicken pad Thai, shrimp with garlic, salt and pepper, citrus chicken and and beef fried rice. Pad Thai was what you would expect pad Thai to be served nicely on a large plate. It was a safe choice and flavor met expectations. The garlic shrimp with salt and pepper was my favorite with a nice garnish of freshly fried shrimp chips. The shrimp was served with the shell opened but still attached and presentation was great. Fried rice another safe bet was savory with very tender and tasty beef and the citrus chicken was hot and fresh. Good seasoning with a lovely side sauce that was somewhat sweet and tangy. In terms of ambience the place was clean but a little dark and bare in terms of decor. I would suggest possibly a candle on each table. Overall a good experience and I will definitely visit this restaurant again. Oh yeah and the servers were attentive and friendly.

Best Thai food in restaurant in Fairfield. Tried all of them. The spicy levels are on point and they ask you how spicy you want it. It's a little pricy compared to its competitors but, it's worth every bite. You gotta try this place.

Being new to Fairfield, we haven't found any go to Asian restaurants, but we were happily surprised with Bangkok Paradise. The food was made to order, as we asked for extra spicy on a couple of dishes, and they obliged. I can't remember all the dishes we ordered, but the basil chicken was good, but the seafood medley was just ok. The service was very good as well. Since we were there for a birthday, a complimentary dessert was also served. This is now out new favorite Thai restaurant in Fairfield.

Again, another delicious experience here. A handful of times and always pleased. Must try this place if you're ever off 80. Food and service are consistent & authentic. Only bad thing is they don't have another location closer to us in the peninsula.

I went to dinner with some friends on a Monday evening and we were seated right away. When we ordered, we asked for separate checks which seemed to confuse the server and she came back to the table several times to confirm which items were on each check. I ordered my entrée spicy, but my check said medium instead of spicy. Communication problems aside, the server was nice and the food was good. In addition, the dining room was clean and attractive. I ordered the Tom Kha soup with chicken and it was rich and flavorful, but I thought there were too many large pieces of galangal (which I do not enjoy). I also ordered the entrée called "Spicy" with chicken and I asked for it spicy. I did not think it was very spicy at first, but it seemed to get spicier as I ate it. I also ordered a side of steamed rice. I thought all of the food was very good and the portions were reasonable. My friends all seemed to enjoy their food as well.

Great service and even better food!! The spicy chicken fried rice was awesome!! However everything we got was very delicious!! The cost was also very reasonable. We had Chicken Garlic Noodles, Green Curry, Spicy Chicken Fried Rice, and for dessert Fried Bananas w/ Ice Cream. We ate alot and still had alot of leftovers to go. Even with including a tip, our bill came to around $45. I would highly recommend trying this place for lunch or dinner.

The best Thai place in Solano County! I was all about Cha'Am in Vallejo, because I remember going to the one in the East Bay and it was awesome. Somehow, this place is just a tad bit more edgy without being flashy like the Bangkokian in FF. This place has THE BEST SPECIALS and desserts and for that, they reign supreme in the Thai world. Better than the other two places in Suisun and leaps ahead Tom G's in VV. I have tried and enjoyed them all and this place must go the extra mile. Service is superb. Great place to have a special birthday party or to order out. Not even expensive at all for what you get.

  • Nadyne B.

The food wasn't great, it was fine. The nice thing was that they had a lot of selection. Green curry was watery and pad Thai was lacking flavor. The grilled chicken was a bit dry. The fried calamari was probably the best experience we had there. Service wasn't quite friendly, but they knew their regulars. It took us a few times to get their attention when we needed something and it wasn't even busy. Sukothai in Suisun is a much better experience- food wise and customer relations.

I was hoping for third times the charm with this neighborhood restaurant, but it was more like three strikes your out! This place I really wanted to like however, the small portions, lack of ambiance, poor quality service and the food in general was beyond mediocrity. We had the mango chicken curry special-$9.95, and it was runny and lacked the CHICKEN! The smallest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. Which is a recurring theme here. Chicken Satay-$7.95 we had to order two to equal out to a regular portion. The chicken they serve you is the size of half of a tenderloin slice. Oh the Pad-Thai Shrimp-$8.95...six shrimp and cubes of tofu, gummy noodles and a terrible aroma to the whole dish that was so unappetizing. It was a huge disappointment! BBQ chicken-was terribly dry not enough sauce to make it edible either. The waitress never came back to the table to check up on us either. It's too bad, another Fairfield Restaurant Disappointment.

  • Rosie W.

Maybe takeout isn't their strong suit here. When I have Thai food I expect a burst of flavor and nice kick. This place had the blandest Pad Thai I've ever had and there was a strange little item in it I couldn't identify...made my stomach turn thinking about what it could be. Suko Thai in Suisun is 10x better and same distance for us. Will stick to that.

Best Thai food in the area! They're friendly, have great quality food, and are very affordable. We love the pad kee mow, the tom ka, the pad thai, and the red curry is delicious (I get it with squid...though not on the menu). I highly recommend you try them out if you're in the area.

I really enjoy going to this place. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I've eaten in the restaurant and have taken food to go. When I eat in the restaurant, the staff is very attentive. When I order to go, they always have my food boxed/wrapped up nicely so my food doesn't spill in the car and they are very prompt. My family enjoys the yellow, green, and red curry, tom yum soup (medium spice which is perfect), pad thai, and angel wings. We've tried more but those dishes are our main ones. I might be too picky in saying this but I feel like their prices can decrease by $1-2 for some of their dishes. Regardless of their slight more than average FF meal, I definitely recommend this Thai restaurant.

  • Birdy L.

I would prefer to give this a 3.5, but alas Yelp doesn't like that. Overall, Bangkok Paradise was satisfactory, but nothing special. My party was desperately searching for a Thai restaurant on our way up to Tahoe that was open for the Fourth of July, and this place was literally the only one that picked up the phone when we called. It's very close off of the freeway, located right near an El Pollo Loco and a cheesesteak joint. Not the most promising of strip malls, but the interior was very clean and generally well-appointed. We ordered the beef larb ($7.95), pork pad kee mao ($8.95), and basil chicken. On weekdays during lunch time, they offer lunch specials for lower prices, meaning our basil chicken was $6.95 - score! I put photos up of all of them so you can see portion size, etc., but generally speaking the portions were pretty average. On the menus there's a spiciness chart of sorts so you can indicate how hot you want your food - me being the spice fiend that I am, I asked for "Very Spicy," but the waitress said that they make their food spicier than most places, so she wouldn't recommend it. I went along with her, but I regretted it after as none of the dishes were particularly spicy at all. Beef larb - plenty flavorful, with lots of dressing and meat. The ground beef was pretty tough and gristly, but nothing inedible. I didn't think it was spicy at all, but I've been informed my taste buds are dead to all sensation, so take that as you will. Basil chicken - comes with rice, which was good. I enjoyed this a lot, as I thought it had well-rounded flavors and good textural mix. Again, not very spicy in my opinion, but I suppose I have only myself to blame for that. Pad kee mao - this is my go-to order for any Thai restaurant so I'd like to think I know a good one when I see (taste?) it. Unfortunately, this one was pretty sub-par. Lots of cabbage filler, mushy noodles, and a very tomato-y sauce. I'm of the opinion that pad kee mao shouldn't have much of a sauce at all, so I was disappointed. Aaaaannd, it wasn't spicy. Pooh. On our next trip we'll probably try another restaurant in the area rather that rush back, but we got our bellies fueled and ready to hit the road again. No leftovers for our party of three, but we ate more than we really had to in order to ensure that. Again, as an overall impression I wasn't impressed, but I wasn't upset either. And if you like spice as much as I do, don't let the waitress scare you.

I dine here last night I was craving for some Thai food I ordered Pad Thai combo with chicken and Shrimp, Sea food soup with coconut, the Special for the night Eggplant with chicken The taste is okay. I just wish there's more seafood mixture in the soup. Also because I felt something missing I ordered Crispy Chicken I was disappointed I hardly tasted the chicken meat it's more flour. I had informed the Manager but did not do any action but instead told me that's the way it is also the server was pleasant but just slow. I don't think I would come to this place again unless I don't have any where else to dine for another Thai food.

Whenever I have to utilize the facilities at a restaurant and the water doesn't get hot enough or the water pressure isn't strong enough, I question the cleanliness of the hands of the staff. The food was okay. We made up for the lack luster taste by drinking alcohol.

My husband and I have been here 2-3 times on our way in from Portland to visit family. Convenient, right off the freeway. I wouldn't consider it the best thai we've ever had, but it was better then some of the other options in the area. Well let's just say, we will NEVER go back. I decided to take my mother in law for dinner with my 2 small children. The food was absolutely disgusting and within minutes my toddler was crying because his food came with spice (I asked for it with no spice) our pad se ew was so soggy, and tasted like the chicken wasn't cooked, but instead loaded with oil and a quick sautéed I nearly gagged my bite down. We ordered 3 different plates and left all 3 completely full. I mentioned to our server how dissatisfied we were and he could care less. No mention of remaking our food, or inviting us to come back to try again. Awful customer service for awful food. Very disappointed! (And I'd like to mention a little TMI, 3 of us ate, 3 of us ended up with diarrhea 15 minutes down the road. So gross!)

Stopped here for a meal on the way to Tahoe and it exceeded expectations. The food was fresh, not over seasoned, and well portioned. The service was top-notch. Friendly and attentive, without being overbearing.

Decided to give this place another try for dinner and boy was I glad I did! Pick up for fast and they had my order ready within 15 minutes. The spicy catfish was amazing and could still taste all the yummy goodness. This will definitely be a repeat order for sure! The thai fried rice with shrimp was delicious and the basil chicken was pretty average.

This is my favorite place to go for Thai food. I love super spicy food and their Thai spicy papaya salad always hits the spot! I usually get Togo or dine in by myself after work and the staff is very friendly. It's nice to know that they remember what I order (probably because I get everything super spicy haha). Will definitely become a regular here. My boyfriend is Laos and I always tell him how great the food is. I plan on taking him here one of these days.

Food is pretty consistent. When I want Thai food I'll come here. It's convenient and I've been satisfied 99% of the time. Customer service is mediocre. I believe that to be a language barrier problem, but who cares as long as you get good food.

I have no idea why I haven't written a review sooner! I'm such a procrastinator! Anyhow... Looking for bad food? Horrible customer service? Awkward atmosphere??? Well... YOU WONT FIND THAT HERE!!! I love everything about this place! The food, the location, the atmosphere!!! And I can't forget the guys and gals who work here! They're absolutely amayzacray!!! My faves are the soups (Tom Kha), curries (you haven't lived unless you've had kombacha squash), larbs (trust me: it's a must have), salads... Oh, gawd... What don't I love!?!?! Check 'em out! You'll definitely be a repeat customer!!!

Very nice people. Very clean. Food is always fresh and priced well. The citrus sauce, in the Citrus Chicken, is not consistent. Some time it is ok and other times VERY much like thin mayonnaise - or, no balance of flavor.

Surprised to find that I didn't have a review posted for Bangkok Paradise, considering it's one of our favorites. The food is wonderful; me and my habits - I am addicted to the Shrimp Pra Ram and have yet to order anything else, yet my dining companions have experienced a wide variety of the dishes and have never been disappointed. We lived within walking distance till moving to Katy, TX and we always make sure to eat there at least once while back in Fairfield to visit friends and family. It's family owned and operated and everyone there has consistently been friendly, attentive, and very helpful. When unable to decipher what kind of sake to sample once, our server set up an impromptu taste testing for us, and whenever questions come up on the menu, we've been expertly guided through to a choice we're more than happy with. Setting is informal and good for families, yet it's small enough that it doesn't get really loud like some places where you can't hear yourself think. They have a couple of large screen tvs, and I've happened in to find them tuned Giant's, A's, or 49ers when they're playing, and usually ESPN when they're not. The sound is muted but the closed caption ensures you can easily follow what's going on. I was concerned after our first visit, because they're located in an inconvenient and poorly designed little shopping center that's a pain to navigate. Other good restaurants have closed because of the bad location. If you enter from Texas you're good, but entering from Dickson Hill isn't recommended. Always clean, and consistent excellent service and food have earned our respect and loyalty. It's also become a favorite go-to spot for our son and his fiancée.

Thai is my favorite food. So I know when something is not cooked to par. I ordered spicy Thai fried rice and when they brought it out try forgot to add the spice, so they just gave me some to add to it. Like I don't pay to do it myself. And the waitress didn't even explain what spice to use until AFTER I used the wrong one. Awesome. My boyfriend didn't like his pad see ewe either, he didn't even bother boxing it up.

This is a great place. I strongly suggest it. I have been to dozens of Thai restaurant and this one easily tops them all. The decor was the OK and the service was decent. I went on a weekday night and there were about 5 tables there. Basically one person served every table. That includes taking orders, bringing out the dishes, refilling, bringing out the checks etc. everything. Surprisingly, I feel the waiter is still quite attentive and friendly. The best part is the food. I was sincerely impressed with the dish I ordered. I had a coconut spicy vegetable soup and an eggplant/shrimp main course. The coconut soup came out first and it tasted just ok initially. I felt the vegetables were on the raw side and do not have enough flavor. But as I keep having it. The flavor came out and there were depths of flavors. I will give it 4 stars. The best is the eggplant/shrimp main course. It is very fragrant and very flavorful. The shrimp was succulent, tender and juicy. It does not get any better. I think they use many different spices/herbs to complete the flavor profile. I can at least taste lemon grass, Kaffir leaves, Thai chili paste, thai basil, galangal and something else. It is very impressive to see a strip-mall restaurant using such wide selection of spices/herbs. I feel they at least care a lot about their food.

I love Chinese food...not really a Thai food, Vietnamese, Japanese Filipino food guy, but I was craving something Asian and I remembered this place next to the El Pollo Loco I frequent. I got the fried Angel Wings appetizer, Pork friend rice and BBQ chicken meal. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was, very good actually ... when it comes to chicken wings I only eat the drumettes. When I got home and opened the container there were 9 flats and 1 drumette. I said , Damn, but ate them anyway and they were great. I will definitely come back....not bad at all...good environment, clean and friendly.

I though the food was merely ok. I ordered the Pad See Ew (thai spicy, after having to go through the usual 'our thai spicy is different' routine, no, it wasn't different, it would still have to be hotter to suit my tastes). I also ordered shrimp spring rolls, but didn't eat them all, because 1) I don't like sprouts, and 2) the non-fresh shrimpy smell on the wrap was offputting. I won't go back, because I like Thai food, and their food I didn't really like.

I'm now in my second month of living in Fairfield and unfortunately, I've come to the conclusion that its slim pickings when it comes to good restaurants in this city. With the 4 star average, I was hoping for a great dinner and friendly customer service. Not here at Bangkok Paradise. I ordered for take out and the lady who took my order was very short with me. When entering the restaurant, the lady at the bar, who most likely also took my order, failed to greet me with a "hi" or "hello." She also failed to say thank you. Service here sucked! The food also left much to be desired! The Bangkok chicken tasted like a dry version of the chicken you can get next door at El Pollo Loco. I'm assuming the curry they added was the 'Bangkok' part. The house fried rice with curry, pineapple, chicken and raisins lacked the freshness you get from similar dishes at other Thai joints. The Pad See Ew was ok. Nothing special in terms of the food. I was really wanting to like this place. My suggestion, you are better off supporting the Panda Express a block over than this sub par local joint.

I'm bummed. Quick service, good hours, and sweet lady working the counter. The fried rice is very dry. The veggie spring rolls were not good at all. Huge and totally flavorless, I'm really disappointed. I don't know how this place has such good reviews. Only the drunken noodles were good. I feel like I wasted money :(

First I want to say that the service here is impeccable. They smother you with kindness as soon as you walk in. You can also seat yourself when you first enter. The setting and ambience of this place is refreshing and very relaxed. I love the service here because they found balance between being polite and while also have urgency to make sure their customers have everything they need. The menu of this place is amazing. There is so many options to choose from. The also post they're specials on a white board. I recommend the Angel Wings, Pad Se Ew, pad thai and the curry here. The angel wings are crispy on the outside and inside, there is ground chicken which is seasoned perfectly. They also have a variety of spices, which came in handy because my girlfriend enjoys really really spicy foods. Her favorite dish is the papaya salad. The food here is delightfully delicious. It's hard to try new things here because sometimes you just want the same dish. But I yet to conquer this menu because of all the choices you have. I highly recommend that if you love thai food that you give this place a try.

The restaurant is very nice inside, I went with a group of four which ordered padthai, I just ordered a small soup and some spring egg rolls that were delicious and the other person had beef tail in yellow curry sauce which smelled very good.

I live nearby, so I go to Bangkok Paradise frequently. I really like their lunch specials, which give you just enough food to fill you up without having to worry about leftovers. The lunch specials include a choice of entree plus rice and steamed veggies. I have tried all the curries, but particularly like the green curry, which tastes very fresh. The one time I tried the basil chicken, it was a bit too salty, maybe from too much soy sauce. This is also a great place to go for dinner and share dishes. One of my favorites is the drunken noodles, although sometimes it is a bit too oily. I chalk that up to maybe different kitchen staff. Service here is always excellent, fast and attentive. One time, my soup was just a little to spicy for my taste, so I did not eat most of it. The waitress asked me if I didn't like it, and I told her it was just too spicy. She offered to replace it, but I was pretty full from the other food, so I said no thanks. She ended up comping it from my bill, which really wasn't necessary but appreciated. I give this restaurant 4 stars, for the occasional inconsistent quality, but I will continue to go back again and again.

Very friendly service. Slightly overpriced, but decently sized portions. Hip, clean, modern decor inside makes it look slightly more upscale. Food IS delicious, but I'd say a little greasy and under-portioned. For example, on the menu, the crab fried rice is described as: "Pan fried rice with egg, onions, and tomatoes."...tomatoes. plural. We got only one big juicy wedge of tomato in our serving. not tomatoes. The crab was also just speckled here and there, some of the pieces even had a little remnant of hard shell still attached. Well, at least we know they used real crab and not canned crab.

REAL Authentic Thai food, best Thai place I have ever been to hands down. The spicy basil beef and the spicy red chicken curry is what my boyfriend and I ALWAYS Order, and we go here regularly. All of the other Thai restaurants just aren't the same. Healthy, flavorful, and best of all SPICY!

AMAZING food. I love Thai food that lights my face on fire (spicy) and this place does it right! All of the dishes I have have been phenomenal. Great balance of flavors and textures. Good portions. Reasonably priced. We have become regulars. Great service too, family owned and run. Check it out!

Great service, but the food was rather bland. Fried rice lacked flavor and the pad kee maw tasted.... watery. The place is lacking ambiance as well just because of the location. Customers get to look out at a parking lot from various perspectives. and inside there's a large TV that had sports on during our visit.

We ate here after our Jelly Belly factory tour. We were very pleasantly surprised. Our group ordered the Bangkok chicken wings (super yum, not spicy), pad Thai-no spice (really good), crab fried rice-no spice (good, but I couldn't really taste the crab), panang curry- Thai spicy (very good, person who got it said that was the spiciest he's EVER had from a Thai place), chicken basil - mild spicy (really good), shrimp pineapple curry- medium spicy (very good, spicy & sweet!), & Thai noodle soup (very good soup, noodles were delicious, we even asked for extra noodles!). Good yelp find! And I checked us in on Facebook and they gave us a free dessert - fried bananas with coconut pineapple ice cream. Score!

Sorry Bangkok but S n' L down the street is more authentic and just better tasting! The citrus chicken here was just cut up fried chicken cutlet with a dish of what was called citrus sauce and the pad Thai was swimming in the sauce like spaghetti sauce. I won't be back but the server was ver nice and patient.

The Tom Yum here is good, full of vegetables with a nice broth. I got shrimp and a few of them were not deveined, which is a big pet peeve of mine. I won't go into details, but that is just some stuff you do not want to see floating in your soup. They opened 9 months ago, service is good, decorations are stark and the place is cold. I'm not sure I would get tom yum again, but my mom enjoyed her food very much, so maybe a different choice next time?

Our favorite restaurant in town! We've been coming here since it opened, and have never been unhappy with the food or ambiance. They always have the game on, and have a great staff. The food is amazing, everything!! We just wish they'd open another restaurant in Cordelia so we don't have to fight traffic to get across town when we want a great dinner!

So this Thai restaurant came highly recommended by my mothers hairdresser and happened to be just up the road from us. My mother, wife, and I all split a 'to go' order at the cost of 41 bucks and pennies. We did check Yelp before we decided to look up the menu and make our order, and we were relatively impressed by a 4 star average at almost 130 reviews. So it couldn't be that bad right? Wrong...! Plates 1 and 2 My mother ordered the deep fried Yams. They were very heavily battered, crispy with the appropriate texture, buuut, they were cold and already stale. You could say, "well that can be expected with to-go's that the time it takes to get it home can ruin fried food", but we only live a 2 minute drive away. Flavor wise, it was a little bland but then there's always the sauce, which is some kind of peanut sauce that's mediocre at best. The worst part was that it was cold and stale. They gave us 15-20 minutes to pick up, we were there 17 minutes from placing the order. She also ordered the vegetarian spring rolls, but they were overloaded with lettuce and sprouts, and not much of anything else, a couple pieces of cucumber, and along came with the spring rolls the same sauce found in the Fried Yams box, bland peanut sauce. She described this to us as "fresh rabbit food". Plate 3 I ordered the Eggrolls @ $6.95, and when I opened the box, there were 6, tiny 'index finger sized' little eggrolls that looked more like Lumpia they were so small. So that's a finger sized eggroll for almost a buck-twenty a pop? And it came with a tiny lil cup of sweet n sour sauce. Again, the Fried micro-eggrolls were cold, stale, and much too chewy and dry for anyone's taste. Big problem again though, cold and stale within 3 minutes of pickup? Plate 4 Here's the KICKER and what really ruined the meal, and completely canned all of our appetites after one small bite of this little fish fillet. My wife ordered the deep-fried Sweet n Sour Tilapia white fish. It comes swimming in a semi thickened sweet n sour reduction which had a nearly overpowering flavor. I had to use 2 opposed forks to tear off a bite. Verdict? The fish was tough and dry. The really bad part was that IT WAS RANCID! I mean I've had "fishy" tasting foods before, but this took the cake. Fishiness from 1 to 10 was a solid, appetite murdering 9.5 on the fishy-scale. It was so bad that all three of us were complaining of a lingering fishy aftertaste and smell inside our mouths we could only get rid of by eating candy several minutes later. To add insult to injury they also forgot to include the side order of white rice for the fish. Plate 5 This was just a little Fried Banana with Pina-colada like vanilla ice-cream that was actually..... pretty good. So, if you're looking for fried 'nanners and ice-cream, at least this was worth the 4.50 in cost. Conclusion: Overall it was so bad we packaged everything up, less the dessert, and drove the whole meal back to the restaurant. Not doing so would have been the same as trashing 41 bucks. I'm not sure how this place is holding a 4 star average. After the meal I looked a little closer on Yelp and saw a really really mixed range of reviews that are typically; "5 STAR OMG SO AMAZING I COULD DIE AHHHH SOO GOOD", to the other extreme "This was terrible worst every bad thai food bla bla bla". I can only recommend you skip and try elseware, or perhaps it was just a bad night for the cook. But if you have to try it don't worry about getting a bad meal and returning it. They were however extremely polite and were happy to refund the total and let us keep dessert on them, since it was the only edible thing we ordered anyway. Nice staff at the very least. Oh and hey guys at Bangkok, $2.50 for a teeny 2 oz side of peanut sauce is ridiculous.

This place is by far the best Thai Cuisine in the area. My family and I have been big fans of thai food for the past 20 years. We have searched hi and low for best thai restaurants in northern california. This place is definitely in my top 3. When I order something "extra spicy" at most places, it usually is not that spicy. In this restaurant they mean business! A+++++

The thai basil chicken here is my favorite dish, pretty much order it every time we go here. My wife only eats pad thai at most thai places. Except for this one where she gets the basil chicken now.

Best Thai food in Fairfield. Staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Highly recommend the pad Thai with your preference of meat. It doesn't get any better, and they will make it as spicy as you want.

I love thai food in fairfield I've been to S and L and that lotus blossom that was on West Texas long time ago. Those places had decent food but the buildings are old. I felt like I was back at Armijo eating in an old classroom with musty carpet and acoustic ceiling tiles. However.... Enter a new era in Fairfield thai restaurants. This place is it for thai food. Friendly service, Clean modern decor combined with picture windows and a view of the rolling hills of Fairfield above I-80. An open kitchen station for that intimate feel. Not to mention the food! The Pad Thai is delicious. Long perfectly cook noodles with the sweet acidic thai taste that we come to love. Our other entree in which we customized the heat to medium was the Salmon. HELLA good! ( please excuse my northern cali speak.). We ordered brown rice (trying to be healthy) to accompany the meal and to mellow out the intense flavors. Please do yourself a favor and try this place. They have a big screen to watch MNF and other sports if the food wasn't good enough. The price is nice, okay? Thanks.

Most definitely coming back!! I ordered the Bangkok chicken wings, that my boyfriend loved, I thought they were just ok, only because I do love them at another restaurant. I also ordered the papaya salad, Yum!! Last but not least my boyfriend ordered the Thai Fried Rice-Spicy. For him it was pretty spicy (in a good way) and he loves spicy. Oh and yes we had an order of brown rice which I love that there's even the choice. The restaurant is just nice and clean and I can't wait to go back to try other dishes.

First time diner: Clean, Friendly, pretty standard as far as Thai goes. Had the Drunken Noodles with chicken, spicy. Pretty good and everybody else enjoyed the meal. Still have a few other Thai places above Paradise on my list in the Fairfield/Suisun area.

100th review(er)! Hands down, one of the best if not THE best Thai Cuisine in Fairfield. Service is very hospitable and the food is top notch if you're looking for some good, authentic Thai food. #32. panang curry #33. param, the #55. pad thai are my top three favorite.

I have used Yelp for years, but I have never been compelled to create an account to write a review until now. We just had a great dinner from Bangkok Paradise. We had the fresh spring rolls (huge), drunken noodles with shrimps and green curry with chicken. This was all to go, otherwise I would have stuffed myself to try the desserts. While the food is wonderful, that's not why I signed up for an account to write this review, the service is!!! Great, great, great customer service! Even if the food was average, I would go back here to support them. On the phone and in person, they are more friendly and welcoming then any restaurant I have been to in quite some time. To add, the place is also very nice inside. It is a smaller restaurant, welcoming, and clean with a nice decor. Thank you for a great place Bangkok!

  • Gigi V.

I'm a little shocked at the high rating Bangkok Paradise has gotten - I've come here twice, once for lunch and once for dinner and it was definitely nothing to write home about. In fact, the only reason I came back the second time was we needed something quick and easy for dinner and this was conveniently on the way home. Look, there's nothing glaringly wrong or bad about this place, but it's mediocre at best. Granted Solano County is seriously lacking good Thai food, but this just doesn't justifyt more than 2 stars in my book. I will concur that the restaurant is clean, food comes out hot, and service is decent. But the quality of the food is not good enough that I'd recommend it to others or return myself unless I needed something convenient and healthier than fast food. Sorry to be the only Grinch on here!

Good service! They have really good Tom Yum soup and I like the Crab or Lobster Fried Rice. We actually add $3 extra to get a combination of crab n lobster... it tasted super good and worths us to come back for it. We ordered the Seafood Tom Yum Soup but they mistakenly gave us a shrimp one. They volunteered to make us an extra seafood soup but I said it's okay, I am fine with it because the soup tasted good and we can't finish two soup (btw..the portion are big :)) The chef came out to apologize to us and gave us a free fried banana ice cream afterwards. He also took out the soup from the bill and apologized again at the end. We will definitely come back to try the seafood Tom Yum Soup and again for the crab n lobster fried rice. :)

Location -- Our Garmin took us through the streets but the easier way to get here is to exit North Texas Street. Fried Calamari -- The batter was pretty good. Nice and crunchy on the outside, and soft inside. Although, when ordering fried calamari, one would expect to get a dish that was mainly fried calamari. Instead, we got a dish that should have been named fried broccoli because that's pretty much what we got. It had a few chunks of calamari but the calamari were so small, we couldn't tell if it was in there or if we were eating uncooked batter. Pumpkin Curry -- Bland! So watered down by coconut juice. Ordered the "spicy" which was not spicy at all! Pad Thai -- Meh, it was OK. We had to ask for lemon to add more flavor to it. It was mainly fish sauce. We had to scoop more spoonfuls of crushed peanuts to add texture and flavor to this dish. Ambiance -- Nice pendant lights and warm lighting. Feels cozy and the noise is at a minimum so you can carry on a conversation using your indoor voice. Would be a nice place to take a person you're not trying to impress. Service -- There were 2 waitresses working for a fully packed restaurant (about 9 tables). They were not only waitresses but the hostesses as well. Despite all the running around, they were able to not let my water glass stay empty for too long. Bottom line: Prices were average. The food was edible but not anything memorable.

I am a regular patron of Sukothai in Suisun City and since they are closed Mondays, my girlfriends and I went to Bangkok Paradise. The food was okay. We ordered their calamari, but it lacked flavor and their wasn't enough calamari to bite on. We also ordered their red curry (chicken) which was tasty and spicy, but not super spicy. Their portion for dinner is not as bountiful as sukothai, but you get what you pay for at $8.95 for that dish. We also ordered basil chicken and requested eggplant in there, they forgot at first, but they were happy to re-cook it. In summary it was okay. They were good at refilling water. The place is new and clean. Service can be a little bit friendlier. Would I go here again? Probably not. I'll stick to Sukothai.

This place is one of my very favorite restaurants in all of Fairfield. Such a hidden treasure. I don't think many people know about it because of it's location. They have the best Thai food around. Their service is exceptional. Their food is soooo delictable! Every dish has such a punch of flavor. Just beware...when you order something spicy...."mild" is very spicy.... so you may want to order your spices on the side. Their Pad Thai is to die for. Their Pineapple Curry is also a great dish. Every dessert is da' bomb! You won't be disappointed. Also, don't forget to try their cold sake drinks. Their SAKE is amazing! They have a nice booth in the back that is great for a smaller group. Great hip place to take some friends.

Would've given 5 stars but they were out of duck curry. Customer service is excellant there & not to mention the food was really good. My husband enjoyed his bbq chicken & I enjoyed my chicken pad thai & chicken red curry. I definetly will be back.

We stopped here on our way to Shasta for the weekend. The four of us shared a pad thai, pineapple fried rice, tom yum and drunken noodles. The service was fast and the portions were HUGE!! The food was very good, especially considering the price and location. We were all pleasantly surprised and were happy campers after our meal.

So, I just moved to the area. I have to say this place disappointed me! The flavors were good. We ordered RED CURRY and they gave us YELLOW CURRY (we found out when I got home, this order was TO GO) and we were so exhausted from moving that we didnt feel like going back and complaining. IT WAS SO UPSETTING! So now whenever my friends come into town, this place is off my list, which sucks because this place is so nearby too :( Also we ordered 3 chicken dishes, I have to say, the amount of chicken they put in the total of the 3 dishes was equvilent to one piece of chicken breast. So overall, HUGE dissapointment.

Ate here for the first time today and I loved it! The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was very delicious. VERY DELICIOUS. We ordered the pad thai, an eggplant entree, and Crispy Trout. I don't usually like fish but the trout was so good. Will definitely be going back again.

Love this place, we order here at least 2-3 times per month. Have not had a bad dish here yet, but my favorites are definitely the yellow curry, Tom Kha soup, Bangkok Garden salad (nice citrus flavor - very refreshing), silver noodles, and drunken noodles. I thought I could handle spicy food, but when I order level 4 spicy it's too much for me. Level 3 is hot but not too hot. Last but certainly not least, the service can't be beat - they are so friendly and accommodating.

there are times when your hunger strikes and when you're set on going home to cook dinner a restaurant will catch your attention. When we saw "Jimboy's Tacos" we decided we could try it out of curiosity, but that was before we saw Bangkok Paradise. It was like seeing a match made in heaven. We ended up here after a failed attempt to eat at Saigon Bistro (there was some weird meeting going on with no eating happening...oh well their loss). Service: When you get excellent service it can turn any negative in the meal to a positive, call me low standard, but I appreciated the time the employees spent with us talking about the food and about the business. It only opened 5 months ago, but they are proud of the food they serve and they definitely have the attitude to match with service. Food: We ordered the Spicy Catfish...able to order with your choice of spicy level, Chicken pad thai, and garlic prawns. The first two were good, but the prawns were a touch salty, but that was easily fixed with the sauce from the spicy catfish and rice! It was thought out food and delivered nice and fresh. We got the fried banana w/ coconut ice cream...and it did not disappoint! I wanted more of the banana because the batter used in the restaurant is so light and crispy. It was the first time eating Thai food and not feeling so heavy and sluggish...the portions were right (of course we were a party of two). Go check out this wonderful place! We're so glad we didn't end up at Jimboy's for lack of spontaneity.

I have to admit, I didn't ever realize I liked Thai food. I have eaten it a couple times at different locations and it was alright....BUT I got convinced to try this place after moving to this side of town and I LOVE IT!!! The Drunken Noodles and the Pad Thai is delicious as well as just about ANY of the soups! Not to mention a great atmosphere, clean and modern, and OUTSTANDING customer service!! We are fast becoming regulars.....

This is my first time writing a review, EVER and it's because of this restaurant. This is the best thai restaurant from appetizer to dessert. SO good that after the first time going, my friends and I ended up going the next day for dinner again. We ordered their tom yum gai, shrimp pad thai, mixed meat fried rice, citrus chicken, and papaya salad. ALL GREAT. As well as their Ro-tee dessert, which is one of the best desserts I've ever had and it comes with their coconut and pineapple ice cream. The modern feel inside and their customer service is just a bonus to their food!

Still a fan...back for the 2nd time in less than one week. This time had the Lobster fried rice and Citrus chicken. YUMMY! Best of all, they did combo up my fried rice to include crab this time...someone must've read my earlier review! :)

This is as close to authentic Thai food as you can get. The food is awesome and if you like spicy this is the place. But watch out for "Thai Spicy" that will make you sweat after one bite. I love their Pad Thai noodles!

Had another great meal at Bangkok Paradise. Had the Lobster Fried Rice as usual and thia time tried the Angels Wings fir the first time. It was delicious as expected. I love this place!

I was there about a week and a half ago and had the egg plant with basil and chicken sautee and it was unrecognizeable. The one thing I could taste was a smoky flavor throughout. I then tried the mango and sticky rice. Or what they said was this dish and it was just a tastless paste. This truly was the worst fail at ethnic food I've ever tasted. I don't understand the high reviews unless: the busboy was standing in for an actual good cook that night, or the 5-star reviews are plants.

So I've never had Thai food in my life and I'm always afraid to try new things but to my surprise the food was amazing. I ordered the chicken wings for an appetizer and got chicken and broccoli with peanut sauce and rice. The staff was very friendly and helpful (considering I've never had Thai food). The restaurant was very clean and open and the location is very convenient. Overall I highly recommend this place!

Overall This was an OK meal. For dinner for 2 with appetizers but no drinks (tap water only) it came to $40. I don't feel we got our money's worth and we won't return. Setting The restaurant is very, very clean. Both the seating area and the kitchen were sparkling. We thought that perhaps they had just opened (they have been open for about a year). However, the restaurant didn't seem very organized (another reason wo thought they had recently opened). There was no hostess station when you walk in, so it was unclear who to talk to about seating. A minor thing, but it makes a difference. Staff Our waitress was rude and couldn't care less about us. However, the manager was very friendly and was willing to make things right when our meal was not as we expected. His attitude though could not make up for the problems with the restaurant. Food The food was OK, not spectacular. On the bottom of every page, they indicate that just about everything can be ordered with no spice, mild, medium, hot and Thai hot. That is - 5 grades of spiciness. I'm somewhat adventurous and enjoy spicy foods, but I don't eat them particularly often and less now than when I was younger. I decided to choose 'medium' spicy after consultation with the manager (who was taking our order because the waitress couldn't be bothered to do so). The yellow curry that I got had almost no measurable heat at all. I mean, my nose wasn't even running until the end of the meal - it was that mild. Now, it was tasty, and I know that yellow curry is generally pretty mild, but just keep in mind that the descriptions of heat level seem to be way on the mild side. Misrepresentation Now, the thing that pissed us off the most: we ordered the popcorn calamari as an appetizer. On the menu, it is described as calamari in tempura - seems straightforward. Well, what arrived was about 2/3 tempura vegetables and 1/3 calamari. The menu did not mention vegetables at all, and for $9, we felt that it was inappropriate for such a huge substitution. The manager indicated that this was how the meal was supposed to come, but when we said that we were going to send it back, he offered to serve us a dish of just calamari. He was friendly about it and seemed to want to make it right (though really, they need to update their menu). However, what arrived was now about 2/3 calamari and 1/3 just tempura bits. The calamari rings were cut in half to make it seem like there were more of them. This kind of trickery really pissed us off and is the main reason we won't return.

I love Thai food but not just any Thai food. This place makes very authentic, flavorful Thai cuisine. I had tried a few in the area and this is by far the BEST! Has the same recipes from Bangkok Garden in San Francisco and Daly City where we used to frequent prior to moving to Solano. No doubt, this will be.our only stop in Fairfield when we're in the mood for Thai food.

Food is great, service not so much. I don't think they know what customer service is. They were slow when it came to seating us, taking our orders, and bringing out our food. And the water they gave us was half way filled in the glass o_O who does that. I was ready to walk out before we even ordered our food because it took that long! And we didn't even get our menus then. But they were fast about giving us our bill and taking our money. I would go back for the food, but next time I'll bring a snack while I'm waiting...... Or I'l just go somewhere else! 3 stars for food.

Amazing!!! Some of the best Thai I've had just about anywhere... Careful when asking for extra spicy cause they will do it like they mean it. Tom Kah Gai is killer here. Great flavor, good amount of chicken, just all around good. Service is exceptional. Seriously a 5 star Thai place.

nice place and service. Their dishes are pretty good and reasonably priced. I really like their BBQ chicken and fresh rolls. There are no good Thai places in Fairfield so hands down this is the best place for Thai. :p

Went there last week for the first time after a friend recommended it. Small place but overall was clean and accommodating. Chicken satay was very salty. Not crazy about their peanut sauce, which didn't taste like most peanut sauces you'd find in a Thai restaurant. Pad Thai was OK. A little too sweet for my liking. But the place seemed pretty busy with a few people coming in for take-out. Overall, I think I may stick to other Thai restaurants in Fairfield that are closer to me, but decent food. Please give white rice with the entrees! Why does this cost extra?

Food and service is great! I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. I love spicy food but be careful there are different levels of how spicy your dish will be...play it safe and choose mild =)

This place is lovely and their food was definitely made with love. Cute little restaurant off of I-80, North Texas. Service was friendly and brought out the food in a very timely matter, considering that the visit was on Mother's Day. A ++ for the appetizers we tried: Fried Tofu, Chicken Wings, Fried Yams....Everyone in our party loved what they ordered. The PAD THAI had the right amount of spiciness...The Angel Chicken Wings were delicious. We even had room for dessert- The fried banana w/ coconut ice cream was yum...And the Ro-Tee was delightful as well. Im definitely coming back for more =)

Awful dinner experience on 6/28/12 for the three of us. Unfriendly staff & mediocre food. The soup and the entry looked and tasted almost the same. No one greeted, thanked or said good bye to us. They only had 3 other customers there so they were not busy. Had to ask for utensils twice. No one seemed to care about customers. They were too preoccupied with their tasks. It felt like we were intruding on them. Just awful experience! Will not recommend this place. Obviously the owner does not know how to run a successful restaurant. A young man kept walking around who acted like an owner, he was very unfriendly and border line rude to my 3 year old son who broke a glass with water when he hit the table accidently. Made us move tables and made a huge scene about cleaning up a broken glass. When we each apologized his remark was about getting sued over someone stepping on broken glass rather than acknowledging our apology and making a little boy feel better. Rude, rude, rude! Shame on you!

I've been here twice and I can say that the servers were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and served quickly. I recommend the basil chicken and the chicken wings and the Thai Ice Tea is great. I'm glad Fairfield has this new spot.
