Every time I come here Ronnie is always super friendly and great. I work up the street so I come pretty regularly. Today I went in and orders and my card on my Starbucks app wasn't working and she totally helped me out. They take the time to help But the service with the other staffs help is quick And great service. Thank you to Ronnie and the other ladies that worked around lunch time on 8/11

Yelp Challenge 2015. 189 /365 *updated review* Another failed attempt to get coffee done right. For a while they used to pull the shots of expresso correctly, now they are getting lazy. Yea, its super busy here after 7am starting at the end of August with all the Cypress High School students, and the cup line does get backed up. But, it does not give them an excuse to get lazy. When pulling shots, please don't put my cup of ice under the automatic expresso machine and press a button. When the shots hit the ice it shocks the expresso and throws off the flavor. And dont shove my Venti plastic cup under there at an angle because it doesn't fit. It looks real sloppy. Both situations have happened to me here. I have also seen other people's shots of expresso just sit there for up to a minute before they pour them into the drink cups while they were creating other drinks. I feel expresso by itself is an art, and should be pulled into the shot glasses to ensure it is the right size, color, aroma, ect. When they rely on the automatic machine they are just shorting the customer on a perfect cup. Sometimes that machine can make a mistake. Usually service here is friendly in the mornings. When asked, they are quick to restock the condiment station. However, it should be checked more frequently to make sure the vanilla powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and cream are always full.

A tiny Starbucks that's an under 5 minute drive from my hotel. The staff is quick and efficient. The line didn't get very long but it definitely moved quickly. A total of 5 tables inside, 2 of which are high-tops, 4 of which are meant for 2 people. It's a small place. Plenty of easy parking, which makes up for no drive-through.

Out of all the Starbucks I have been to as of late this is probably the worst service I have experienced at any of them. I wanted to check out a neighboring business and when I looked for a Starbucks this location was the closest so I quickly stopped in. As I walked in the door I was surprised to see how small this location was and how the menu board itself only mentioned a handful of drinks and failed to include any of the teas, tea lemonades, smoothies and other drinks. I was also dismayed to find that I received no greeting at all and simply stood there for a good 4-5 minutes near the register before anyone acknowledged that I was even there. Finally after several minutes I was asked "oh hi, do you know what you want" and then they just stood there. Despite the lack of service, I asked for a Venti Black Tea Lemonade and quickly scanned my card to claim my free drink. When the drink was made they simply place the drink on the pickup counter, said tea lemonade and went back to their talking behind the counter. They had zero customer service skills, the drink was made well but was no saving grace for this location in my opinion. If you don't want to help people and cant do so without goofing off and talking behind the counter as opposed to helping the customers that walk through the door then perhaps you have the wrong type of job. If management reads this they should definitely share this with the staff and improve on this aspect of the store. I would have to be in the area and desperate to return to this location again.

Wow Starbucks to a brand new low. The greed monster has overtaken this location. I normally order a black ice tea no sweetener and no water along with four tall caramel Maccados (sp). I was informed that the district manager no longer wants the cups filled up if you order no water, light ice or no ice. For $2.95 my ice tea had a fourth of the cup filled. Each of the ladies behind the counter were extremely polite and extremely embarrassed. They said this is the policy of their new district manager. Wow Starbucks has outgrown its usefulness. Better value at McDonald's thank goodness Dunkin' Donuts is coming to town. Look in the picture section of the store and I will have a photo of my ice tea.

Had to burn some time before a meeting and found this spot on Yelp. Great parking situation and the restrooms were above average but the indoor seating was a little limited based on the size of the location. They do make up for it with ample outdoor seating, the most of it covered in shade. The service was exemplary as usual for a Starbucks location.

This location has some foot traffic to it but its close to work and the line actually moves swiftly which I'm sure has something to do with the super friendly staff. I've never had a mix up or any other qualms like parking woes.

I was really disappointed on the lack of cleanliness at this Starbucks. The store was busy but there was a high lack in using gloves, hand washing etc, I ordered coffee ONLY!

I honestly don't understand the hateful reviews for this location. Ive been coming here for over a year. I don't come here daily,,,but a few times a month. Ive ordered all kinds of drinks, and they are always very friendly, and fast. I was in there yesterday, which was Christmas Eve, at around noon. It was a little tore up in there, but its Christmas Eve, and all the last minute shoppers cleaned the place out. It is a small location,,,,so if you go in during peak hours, you will be standing very close to other people. Just a heads up. Other than that, this is a good Starbucks. The Baristas have always got my order correct, and they are polite. Isn't that all that really matters when your only goal is to get your caffeine fix?? I will return to this location, they do a good job.

Slow, unfriendly staff in the evening. Dirty counters and floor. Trash on the floor. Didn't seem to bother the employees.

Kinda of rude even when I'm smiling at them...I know we get a lil crabby in the morning ....everything will be alright Starbucks workers ...they are always out of supplies or food...they are out of bagels in the morning ? .. What's going on ? Screwed up my drink twice in 1 week when I asked for only 1 simple request. Girl even repeated my request to confirm everything and still doesn't get it right ...

This is literally one of the BEST Starbucks I've ever visited! The staff isn't the friendliest, but the parking is uber convenient and best of all, the store isn't crowded at all! I think it's because it's tucked away in the back corner of a huge plaza, so it's pretty easy to miss from Valley View if you're not looking too closely. Because there's no wait, my breakfast sandwich + tea order was ready in less than 5 minutes! Talk about fast and convenient. They also make their drinks really well! I will definitely be coming back to this location very, very soon!!! :)

Worst customer service at a starbucks I've ever uncountered. Had to wait 5 minutes while the cashier/barista talked and chatted with her friend while a line formed. Wasn't about drinks it was about their personal lives. Very rude and unprofessional.

    (1)
  • Katie H.

You guys seriously need to clean up. There was never a time when I didn't see napkins and straw wrappers all over the floor. The tables are messy and I always end up wiping the tables off myself. You've got college students coming in and out and leaving trash. It is not my duty to clean after somebody else's mess. That's disgusting. Even when the employees aren't busy, they don't take the time to get out from behind the counter and clean up a little. They prefer to stand around and talk. Awesome.

THE worst Starbucks in the area. They are never friendly. They never seem to know what's going on. They have a bunch kids working behind the counter that don't know the first thing about work ethic, first impressions, or how to be professional. Today I stood at the counter, the guy was standing at the cash register ready to take my order, but he proceeded to giggle and laugh and chit chat with the other workers. He flat out ignored me why they all socialized (because they're high school kids). Finally I asked "will you please ring me up?" Mind you there were about 5 people in line behind me. Every time I go in there it is like this. They are either grumpy, or not paying attention. When I finally got my drink it was totally wrong. I just sighed and left. From now in I'll be going to the Starbucks down the road on valley view closer to the freeway. The parking lot is a b***h to get out off but we'll worth it.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I'm one of there regulars & I love getting my coffee here not just because the coffee is good but the entire staff here are AWESOME !! Nancy is the sweetest as soon as she sees me walking in she already knows my order.. Keep up the great work guys !!

Nothing is better than my morning coffee!! But not better than the cup I have @ home when I first wake up!! This coffee is good too though. Staff is friendly, fast, and the store is well kept. However I do come this early so who knows what happens to the store later. I have had no issues with Starbucks everyone seems happy . I order a iced double shot no classic six pumps white mocha 4 pumps peppermint with half and half. The drink takes some time to make because it's 4 shots of espresso over ice and half and half but this Starbucks is usually fast and gets my drink correct and just make sure you make sure you repeat your drink back like any other Starbucks im sure it will make your day coffee should make everyone's day is the simple things in life we should be Sooooooo grateful for. So who's ever reading this....i hope you have a great day!! (With or without coffee) :)

Just awful. I went in on Saturday afternoon, 2pm, October 11th, to get a drink and read some. The workers there, two girls and a guy, were talking to each other like they were at a slumber party. Really loud, annoying, leaving little space for concentration for me, or any customers. Workers should be working, not socializing. And wouldn't you know... Starbucks dot com gives no venue for customers to complain, making this site the only place, only sadly, it's preaching to the choir, and nothing gets done.

Not only did I have to tell the barista how to make my drink, I also got expired white mocha, and expired expresso shots. Took 10 minutes for 2 drinks and nobody in line... not impressed

I absolutely love this location. I have always been treated well by the baristas, and my beverages come out FANTASTIC every time. I've been to every Starbucks within a 10 mile radius and this is by far the best one. It's the only one I will go to, even if it's out of my way!

It's starbucks! If you're reading this review, why are you wasting your time? They have coffee and pastries what do you expect?

I prefer this Starbucks over any Starbucks in cypress. Some of the staff are rude, but most of them are sweet and always have a smile on. They are helpful with suggestions & most importantly they are patient. The baristas are fast and efficient. I do have to ask for hot drinks to be made extra hot, because they are usually warm. The downside to this starbucks is that everyone loves it & this keeps it very busy. The parking lot sucks, but parking is usually always available..it's just awkward. It shares parking with my favorite nail salon LG nails. So it's very convenient to get my coffee then get my nails done! sometimes I just love cypress!!

Starbucks is always a good pit stop from driving long hours on the road. It's good, flavors are consistent and menu remains the same where ever you go. I ordered my usual. A tall sugar free soy double shot mocha with no whip on ice. Zap zap zap. It re-energized me for the rest of the night and kept my engine running smoothly. It was very RSTS! Refreshing. Smooth. Tasty. Satisfying. The best part... someone else by the name of Jenny, didn't pickup her Americano Macchiato. And since my name was Jenny, the cups name was written with Jenny and they said no one else was named Jenny at the time, I was able to snag a free drink. Hip hip hooray for me being me! And thanks for the freebie, Starbucks!

I can not stand this Starbucks! I used to stop by here before school when I was younger. I went there recently and was annoyed by the workers there. There was a very long line and only one person working the register while the other made drinks or mostly gossiped loudly. At one point they even started discussing abortion loudly in a room full of respectable edlerly people saying terrible things. I waited a while for my drink to be finished, usually when they set out the drinks they call the name or say the type of drink. They were all too busy talking to do that, so drinks were pilling up and people had to sort through them to see if theirs was done. At one point one of the worker's 'friends' went behind the counter to hang out! This place needs to have a manager supervising or get responsible workers!

I came here one night for their buy 1 get 1 free holiday drink deal. The staff is friendly and one barista struck a conversation with me and my boyfriend. This location is a bit small, but quite cozy.

Oh my god, people working together full time and SOCIALIZING? GOD FORBID. What a scandal! Alert the authorities! The people who are already serving you are supposed to... what... Turn into stone and cease to exist unless they're assisting your sorry lazy overpaying asses? Gtfo. At the end of the day, it's you losers who are paying for overpriced shit at a glorified McDonald's. If you can't handle the fact that these are human beings, if you can't bear to acknowledge that that job is actually way harder than you have any inkling of... The knowledge required to prep your crappy drinks... The constant daily abuse from self entitled strangers... The nonstop cleaning, janitorial work (imagine that!) District managers who don't give a shit about you and breathing down your neck for things out of your control... All this wrapped into the role of "BARISTA"... Perhaps if you useless spoiled brain dead customers worked a retail job, you'd be a little more compassionate but even if you have, your shitty comments and nagging lead me away from even considering that as a possibility. You guys are clueless. Nobody is forcing you to waste money on strangers preparing your "coffee"... God what a joke. Starbucks isn't even coffee these days. I'm so glad I don't work there anymore. I feel for the employees, I really do. Keep on chugga-chuggin guys. Your customers are twats.

Nnnnever come here if you are in a rush. I don't know how they can possibly be as slow as they are. Everyone always looks busy, so I don't know if it is the system they have in place or if they're just under-staffed. I have never made it through the drive thru quickly even when there's only one car in front of me.

I think all the things that i order here at this place taste better than other Starbucks. GREAT service now, but i'm still mad at the rude girl who used to work here. Hmph! Tiny place, but good tasting fraps and lattes. :D

    (4)
  • Susan C.

I hate giving places low ratings, really. But the last time I came here, all three workers were yelling above the buzz of the machines. They were having a full on gossip session about their lives while I was trying to write an essay. I look at coffee shops as a place to study, so this is a huge negative for me. These workers seriously needed a babysitter, and I know by the looks on the other customers' faces that I wasn't the only one annoyed. As for the decaf passion tea I ordered, it was a bit sour and I wouldn't order it again.

  • Melanie F.

Overall I'm very pleased with the service and products at this Starbucks as with all Starbucks. Staff is always friendly with the exception of 1 or 2 that seem to have some "not ok" days although it's not enough that they treat the customers poorly. It would be nice to see a smiling face though instead of a pouty or grumpy face. Parking isn't the best, sharing spaces with a Chase bank and grocery store in an already limited space area I usually have to park farther than I would like. The big drawback to this location is its proximity to the local high school. Just before school and especially after school this place fills up to max capacity with high schoolers and the wait time is just ridiculous! The store itself isn't very big with approx 5 tables and limited product selection. It is convenient for me so I do continue to come here although I choose elsewhere at specific times to avoid the high schoolers.

  • Thor E.

Just bought a coffee at this location, and the manager Jose recognized my name and assured me they're working on the cleanliness. It did look a lot better than last time already, and the service was outstanding today. Enjoying my blonde roast pour-over and feeling like Starbucks still knows how to treat their customers right!

  • Arnold L.

I absolutely love the staff at this Starbucks location. Not only are all of them good looking, but they all have the personality to match as well!!! I seriously cannot get enough of this place. I am not tooooo much of a coffee addict, but when I want some good coffee I swing in and get my favorite (caramel frap) I am always greeted as soon as I walk in the door and even when they are slammed with customers someone finds time to smile and make sure I am being helped. I never catch myself being angry in that little place. I just wish other stores were like them!! I will definitely be recommending this location to my friends and family. When you have an awesome staff and awesome product it is just....well AWESOME:))))))

I usually like Starbucks but my experience today really sucked. I ordered a strawberry smoothie today and waited for it to come out. When I took a sip of it, i tasted banana and I hate bananas in my smoothies. The drink itself tasted like crap, was bland, and overall disgusting. Ive heard that Starbucks has good service. I went up to the counter and kindly told the worker APRIL that I didn't know the smoothie I ordered came with bananas and that I didn't like it. She gave me a blank annoyed stare without saying anything. I would've expected them to be like,"oh! I'm sorry about that, do you want another drink we could replace it with?" but NO.. since she didn't say anything, I asked, "can I get a refund? or.." Then she asked, "Do you want anything else?" and I said no, just give me a refund. She then looked at the smoothie menu and tells me in a know it all tone, "um it says that each smoothie comes with banana in the menu." I look at the menu. it says "Smoothies" and underneath it says "Strawberry or Orange Mango" Next to the "Smoothies" theres a tiny fine print saying it comes with banana. ok, I'm sorry that I don't have the best eyesight or have a clear view of the damn fine print like you do since you're behind the counter. Why doesn't it say Strawberry-Banana smoothie on the menu? Or when I ordered from you in the first place, you couldn't have informed me that it would come with banana? When she finally gave me the refund, I pointed to the smoothie and said, "do you-" she cut me off and snatched my drink away saying "ill take this" Her attitude was as if I was gonna take the smoothie. I don't want your poorly made smoothie. i don't know if she was having a bad day or what, but if your establishment is known for friendly customer service, you better live up to it.

Today's visit 05.06.2013 at around 4:15PM was rather disturbing and probably the worst part of my day. I stopped by during their Happy Hour for their Fraps and had to encounter meeting (the guy pictured) whose name is unknown because he had no name tag on. I had politely asked for a cup of water and he responds, "Waddup!" WTF. I look young, but I am way older than you little boy. I do not appreciate being spoke to that way nor being given rude service. Instead of giving me a new cup, he hands me a cup of water for who knows how long was sitting on the counter. He says, "Someone asked for it and didn't get it. So, you have it!" Um..yeah okay!! Then to make matters worse, I had to watch this guy make the drinks my cousin had purchased with her Gold Card from Starbucks. WHAT THE HECK! He had no infection control whatsoever. One drink in particular he made had overflown and instead of using a cloth or something sanitary he literally uses his own hand then has the nerve to look at everyone and says "Hello, Hello, Hello!" Gross!!! Why?? You DO NOT use your hand and I had watched him touch his hair many times making different drinks before handling that one poorly made frap. I pitied whoever had to drink that frap and was very upset for this kind of service. I will never return here! I also would never recommend anyone to drink anything made by this person. Cameras would show how he made his drinks, but are useless when customers have already consumed them. Hire better workers at this location please. I lost my Starbucks craving and guarantee that I will never return to such a horrible location for business.

The worst customer "service" at Starbucks ever. The girl who was working today was rude and seemed very rushingand hurrying on everything (ex. taking orders, making drinks, cleaning, and etc.) I understand it could be really frustrating when it's busy but that doesn't mean an employee has to be rude to customers. For her rushing and hurrying attitude, I scratched my head and began to think why I need to put up with her or Starbuck's problem. She hardly used complete sentences to customers. I just walked in for a drink..that's it. Keep the business(busy) behind the counter. Plus, this location seemed very messy today (ex. Napkin dispenser all open and hanging) Just looking back at my experience here today, it's hard to believe that it was even a Starbucks location. It was definitely worse than any McCafe location.

In the past 8 years I have visited this store ordering the same coffee nearly once a day until the last two years as my order has been so messed up many, many days in a row. I've taken to standing to watch it being made so the barista gets it right. I bring in my own Starbucks cups and I have to write in permanent ink HOT or COLD on each one to make sure they don't put my HOT drink in a cup with a straw. I say the same order every time and if it isn't the clerk who doesn't write it correctly, it is the barista who can't read it correctly. I've even brought in my own order pre written on my computer and handed it them...but they write it anyway. One dramatic difference over the last 2 years is the change in staff. New personnel all the time. And since I've started going to other near by stores for more accurate service, I'm finding people who used to work at the Valley View and Ball store now working at other local Cypress Starbucks. Their opinion speaks volumes why they switched shops. And guess what? Those four persons REMEMBERED MY CORRECT ORDER from years before!!! For 8 years I've been ordering sugar-free coffee syrups. It is especially important to me that specific order be correct. Yesterday I gave the order to a girl who has waited on me several times. In fact she's remade coffees for me before that were messed up by the barista. I could see that there was again a new person going to make my two coffees ( same order.... one coffee hot and one cold) so I asked the girl to please make sure it gets made correctly. Well, my sugar free hazel nut (SFH) was read SFM by the barista and I got a drink that tasted like chocolate. I asked the new barista if it was chocolate and she said it was a skinny mocha. I asked if it was sugar free. She said yes. I asked "Do you promise it has no sugar calories....no sugar in it.?" She said yes. I was going to be late for an appointment so I declined having my drinks remade. MY BIG MISTAKE when I finally reach my destination and was able to research the nutritional ingredients on my phone. 15 GRAMS OF SUGAR PER SERVING ....AND LORD KNOW HOW MANY SERVINGS THERE ARE IN A GRANDE AND VENTI!!!. I'm not sure what the issue is with the personnel at that store. Years and years ago it was a very friendly place. I was greeted by name....so friendly....so welcoming. That is not true anymore. But more importantly, the orders have to be carefully so carefully monitored each and every time. It is exhausting spending money and time there.

Starbucks is great, just not this one. I have been a Starbucks gold card member for many years. I moved and started using this Starbucks and after the fourth time of being treated rudely I will not go back. So beware of the rude cashier. Too bad Starbucks doesn't monitor these people.

I love this Starbucks location! Of course not just because the drinks that are made for me are great but because the staff are wonderful! This location can get busy since the HS is near by but after 8:30am you're good to go. Definitely my choice of location in Cypress/Buena Park!

I think this is my favorite Starbucks... by far. Service goes a long way. The drive-thru was a little hidden (it's behind the One West bank) but there was no one in line, and they asked me what I'd like to order right away. I was surprised by how upbeat and nice the man was. I ordered a Zebra Mocha (my favorite) and made sure that it was iced. Onto the window to pay. As I pull up to the window, a nice girl asks me how I'm doing. She had a huge smile on her face and she was obviously genuine. As she told me my total ($4.05 for a grande), she comments, "Ooohhh, I'm so jealous." I said, "Wait, why?" She says, "Your nails. They're beautiful. They don't let us paint them here." It was such a simple exchange, but it made me happy. She noticed something so small and held a conversation so well. It came naturally to her, and it brought a smile to my face. And then I felt bad that she couldn't paint her nails. That's evil. I feel weird if my nails are naked. This whole thing took about 2-3 minutes. I was surprised how fast they were here. Drink - A+ Service - A+ Drive Thru - A+ They surpassed my expectations. I'll come to this one again in a heartbeat.

Been here before and my experienced was not that very good. There wasn't any line, but somehow the staff were super slow that we got our order late. This time however, me and my friends tried the drive thru as we have to get back in class immediately. And so, we arrived at the drive thru, and luckily, we were the only one in there, and so we placed our order, and then got our order in an instant. Drive thru: fast service, easy ordering, fast check out.

Been here a few times. Its clean, hardly ever super busy, and friendly staff! Just a little too slow at times. One of the workers name is Holly. She really has act for taking what you like and suggesting great drinks for you try.

I will never visit here again. I ordered Americano but she gave me brew coffee. You know what? Americano is more expensive than brew coffee Regardless of price, I was just waiting for coffee in front of pick-up place. She looked like irksome about that I saw in kitchen. Even I could see in kitchen, but she did. She gave me insult. Without here, I have a looooooooooot of coffee place.

  • Natalie S.

They get three stars because the girl at the cash register was really sweet and welcoming. She took my order perfectly but somewhere from her to the rest of the staff, my order got lost and the process got delayed... I was trying to get in and out of this coffee shop and i can hear an employee in the back repeating my order incorrectly and doing it wrong. Maybe I was in a rush and was a bit cranky, but my order was not difficult and they could have been more prompt and accurate with my order.

I'm being really picky, but I was getting my car washed across the street, and I stopped in to get a cup of Decaf. They did not have any brewed. It was around 11:30 A.M. Nothing wrong with the coffee. They just didn't have what I wanted. How hard would it be to have a "pot" of decaf ready for anyone who wanted some? Maybe only brew half a "pot" to avoid waste.

I dropped by this Starbucks after a LONG meeting and wanted to get my usual. I almost always get a black tea with breve & classic syrup. And I have to admit some places can make my drink with no problems and others just butcher it. This Starbucks took the time to clarify what I wanted and the drink was on point. I never find this Starbucks overly crowded so the small seating area never really bothers me.

Super-friendly service goes a long way on a hot day, when the line is long and all you want is a sip of something icy and smooth. Great job, Star-baristanistas! I agree with several of the previous reviews . . . this location especially enhanced by excellent service.

First I absolutely love Starbucks! The only reason that I am leaving this review is because this location really needs improvement! I mostly come here on Tuesday mornings because my daughter goes to the local high school and has late start. The place is packed, which is typical of Starbucks and not a big deal. But I have to say that the last 3 -4 times that I have come to this particular location they have screwed up my order in some shape or form. They either give me the wrong size or they don't make it the way I order it. I definitely will stick to the one I usually go to in Torrance!

Friendly Starbucks employees. Correct order every time. Limited indoor seating. Parking lot can be a bear sometimes.

Every Saturday, me and my partner get our coffee here at 5AM before golf. They do open at 5 AM on Saturdays. This morning, it was not open at 5. The 2 employees ignored us as we waited 'til 5:09, so we just left. They need to schedule people that can wake up and get to work on time to open for customers.

Their coffee is amazing here! I live a few blocks away, but there is a Starbucks closer to my house so I don't get to go here much. I love the coffee here, it tastes like how Starbucks is supposed to taste. I came here with my boyfriend late at night to grab some coffee before going home and they have the best frappuchinos ever! My favorite is the White Chocolate Mocha and my boyfriend usually orders the Caramel Frap. The barista looked like he was a little high on coffee or in the middle of a tornado, because this guy was fast! I guess he was rushing but he was a little funny to watch.

I have 34 check-ins as of today. I think that says enough. I highly recommend their ice green tea unsweetened. On a hot day, this drink hits the spot!

Worst Starbucks ever, I am a gold card regular and this place is horrible. They were rude to our group and did not want us in there because they were closing an hour before they were supposed to according to the Starbucks app. I cannot tell you how rude they were and that included the manager.

I was here studying with friends. We knew they closed at ten. And the blonde girl working there says "Hey guys, just want to let you know we close in five minutes. So you can start cleaning up now. K thanks." Honestly, "we close in five minutes," would have sufficed.

It's a nice little Starbucks almost out of sight next to a large grocery store at the corner of Ball Rd. and Valley View. A small store with some seating indoors, and I noticed only one table outside. People were on their laptops; it was one of the quieter Starbucks I've been to. Baristas were fine, one was kind of barky. As in he barked at me for not forming a line parallel to the snack bar. But he prepared a fine drink.

Can't really complain too much about this place. The place was clean, the line to order went by pretty quickly, my drink was made in a reasonable amount of time, and it was the right drink. My only grudge would be that my vanilla latte was scalding hot, a lot hotter than I had expected, and my tongue hated me the rest of the day.

As a starbucks frequenter, I have to say this location is worth a visit. I personally go there mostly when I need to go through the drive through. The staff is very, very friendly and I love that about them. I wouldn't go there to study just cos, the atmosphere is not so great and there's limited work space; the tables are quite small. I went there once to study and had to join tables together. (Not sure how they felt about that lol)

Average has far as star bucks places go. The staff is friendly but it can become busy since it is a small venue. My favorite drink is a double tall cappuccino and they never seem to make it right. They add way too much milk which heavily weights down the drink and masks the espresso flavor. As far as their cappuccino making qualities I would give them a 2 star, but staff friendliness a solid 4 star, which evens them out to a 3 star in my book. Let's work on making the perfect cappuccino my friends =0)

This is my second-favorite location. Its a little cozy and close to the high school so sometimes no place to sit. Nice staff

Nothing really special about this one. Friendly staff. Got my drinks right. My only gripe is... I was THAT person, AGAIN!!! The half-n-half was empty. Why is this so hard?

I'm not typically a coffe drinker, well, unless it's cold, but I do love the teas they make! I'm a hooked fan of their Vanilla Chai Tea Late both hot and iced! Decided to give their Pumpkin Spiced Late a try and I gotta say, it's pretty good! :D

I've only had one bad experience here.. They charged me for the wrong size, and gave me a coupon good for a complimentary drink. Went a couple days later and used my coupon and they messed up again. Other than that, the customer service is really good and the tables are much bigger than the one on Lincoln and Valley View. Oh and they just recently got free WiFi so that's a plus :)

Okay, according to the rest of my fellow yelpers reviews this location is really good...but my experience today...was like WTF? Walked in, went to the counter and picked up 3 gift cards...there were 2 workers at the register, a guy and a girl. Handed them to the chick and told her the amounts I needed on each card then put my cash on the counter...she asked.."how do you know the total?" I answered..."um because I can add"...she literally rolls her eyes! Anways, she does her thing..puts the cards back on the counter and hands me my receipt...I ask her which one is which, they all were for different amounts...she goes, "just match the numbers up with the numbers on the receipt, it'll tell you the amount...r u effin kidding me! The guy takes over and figures out the amounts for me...I ask for a pen to mark each card so I knew which one was which...he hands me the pen..the chick says, "we are limited on pens so we need it back" duh whore, why the hell am I going to steal your damn pen! Ugh! I'm sure this location is great...but this chick was seriously horrible! A lot of kids were walking in and out, I guess from the schools surrounding this location ...maybe that's why she was in a bad mood...nevertheless..I wanted to pull her over the counter by her hair...lol...

Really chill crew working this location. Cozy and accessible. Finally tried an old-fashioned glazed donut. Ridiculously good. Oh and S convinced me to try my standard shaken tea lemonade (passion, sweetened) with a shot of melon syrup. Very nice for spring/summer weather. Sam said we should use apple juice next time. I think I will.

Starbucks has always been one of my guilty pleasures. The "perfect oatmeal" is guilt free with all of the pleasure. I have it EVERY TIME I visit a Starbucks Coffee. With a variety of tons of starchy, sugar laden pastries and breads, the perfect oatmeal is a wonderful alternative. Pair it with a skinny latte, and you have the perfect breakfast, mid morning snack, or on the go sensible meal!

Out of al the Starbucks in the area i think this one is probably one of the best. and believe me, theres ALOT in the area First thing you notice when you walk in is that its fairly small. Which is good, you dont have to worry if they guy with the nicely trim beard is downloading porn on Limewire cuz he doesnt have WI-FI at home. Also the lack of Underage Kids thats frequent the starbucks down the street on Knott. I know for a fact that they brew their coffee fresh, some starbucks leave thier coffee sitting for more then 3 hours. ( ifs the brewer is blinking dont drink it). They're drinks are awesome too, they dont skim on anything not even the skim milk, and thats SKIM! The help is friendly and knows alot about the coffee , more then any 20 something Liberal Self employed writer and blogger with a Ironic mullet should know. Basically its the best on in cypress and go there. Also , pretty girl named Sam there is easy on the eyes. Go and check it out. ...NOW!, what are you doing still reading this review, im sure they are open........GOOO!!

I go to this starbucks every morning with a couple of coworkers and it always starts my workday off on the right foot. They always know our drinks before we even get to the counter...already know our names and are very friendly all the time! The one complaint is that they are pretty busy in the morning, especially if Cypress High is having a late start day...then just come in after 10, so you dont have to deal with all the kids. I have tried a couple of the other starbucks around, like the one that has a drive-thru on Valley View in Buena Park, and they suck...always mess up my drink and tastes horrible. Starbucks in cypress off of Valley View and Ball is the place to be!
