Thai House

Got carryout from Thai House. Food was great, generous portions, and service was fast. Philippine-style noodles were great and flavorful, but not at all spicy. Basil chicken was good, but asking for medium spiciness got us what we'd usually think of as mild. We got a side of steamed broccoli, which was perfectly done. Would definitely come here again.
What was being presented as Thai food was more like bad Chinese-american LaChoy. The Spicy Thai Basil was a very bad commercial instant brown soupy-gravy with dry chicken pieces, a few carrots and a smattering of basil. Nothing in Thai cuisine except soup has that much liquid. I still shudder when I think about it. The rice was a basic grain rice they over-cooked and kept too wet trying to mimic a sticky rice but failing. Thai food calls for a better quality rice like jasmine or even a basmati. The Thai spring rolls had no color, or flavor. Where was the scallion, julienne carrot, jalapeno strip, anything. Just bean sprout, lettuce and a very thinly sliced shrimp. Very disappointed with the quality, flavor and even ambiance of this place. I honestly couldn't finish it, and throwing it out was the best decision of the day.
The food was good, but the service much better. We ordered Tom yum soup, pineaaple fried rice and vegetable Pad Thai along with bubble tea which is a must. Great little place for a quick bite
