Working in Coronado, this is the closest Starbucks by my work with it only being a 5 minutes walk. Came here during my lunch a little bit before 1pm and there was a line. Thought it was gonna take a while but surprisingly, it went by really fast. The workers were really good and fast at taking orders and they were nice despite the busyness. This Starbucks is probably the biggest and most spacey I have been to. Great indoor and outdoor space with free WI-fi as long as you log in which was very convenient and quick and easy to access. Definitely plan on coming back here again to satisfy my Starbucks needs. The only thing I don't like are their over priced food but still good and healthy with great new frappe flavors. I got the coconut mocha and it was delicious! Can't wait to try more new ones.

Organized, clean and pretty :) it was pretty big for a regular Starbucks store! Okay service, bartender was a bit rushed on our orders even though there was no line. A nice place to hang out with friends! **finding a parking spot could be a hassle.

Not a bad Starbucks, but you have to be ready for lines, because I have to admit this was one of the most busiest Starbucks I have visited. I stopped in for some hot tea, a snack, and to get some work done via their WiFi. I ordered a green herbal tea and a Mountain Berry Bar. I asked them to acquire me a new Mountain Berry Bar from the back because the one in the display had a stand sitting on top of it. Actually, the whole counter could of used some tightening up. It looked like they go slammed hard. The tea arrived popping hot and was good. I had to let it sit for a bit before I started to enjoy it. It was typical in flavor with a nice relaxing and soothing flavor. The Mountain Berry Bar made from Acai Berries was good too. The little buttery crumble on top was nice and the berry inside was silky and sweet. The bar went well with the hot tea. Although the lines were long, the employees kept things moving along. It got a little crazy at times, figuring out what belong to who, but in the end it all worked out. This location has a lot of seating inside, including a large communal table and a few tables out in front.

Of all the Starbucks I visit this one is consistently awful! They don't know how to make an iced latte. Every drink I've had here is made wrong. Save your money and go somewhere else. The girl making the drinks is rude and thinks she knows better. She needs a review of her Starbucks drink manual as well as some customer service skills.

  • James R.

Came here today and it was just like any typical Starbucks. It actually had a cool opening that lets the sun in which is cool. The service though wasn't that great. The people behind the counter didn't seem too happy and I could tell they wanted to be anywhere, but here. I wasn't too impressed by my iced caramel macchiato, but by the time I realized it wasn't that great I was several blocks down already. Overall, place looks great, but the service could have used some work!

    (3)
  • Jessica R.

The worst! It's always slammed and they never get my drink right. It can't be that hard. Staff your location!

    (1)
  • Linda F.

Arrived at Starbucks and we were prompty greeted. I ordered a peach tea. It was delicious! This place is spacious and you do not feel cramped here. This Starbucks is clean, even the bathroom. Parking was good. I would definitely recommend this place!

  • Maridel A.

Rude employees. Well not rude more like snobby. First off... You work at Starbucks making min. Wage +tip! Okay maybe .50cents more than min wage but who are you to think you're too good to be taking my order... What if I wanted to reload my card & do two separate transactions so I can earn 2 stars?!! I deserve 2 stars if I'm paying 5$ for a 1$ pastry and 5$ for ice (ice coffee but they put more ice than coffee). Yes! I deserve my 2 stars. Anyways they're always busy. Sometimes friendly sometimes snobby. They need more tables and chairs. And customer service training.

  • Angie S.

I've been here a couple times for my morning doze of hot chocolate. The parking is an issue unless you come here at 5am. There is limited metered parking that takes only coins. The actual Starbucks is clean and abandoned at 5am. However If you're there midday it's packed and the line is usually huge. The employees in the morning aren't particularly welcoming in anyway but who can blame them it's 5am.

    (3)
  • Ben R.

Seriously good service and atmosphere big and lots of room very clean and organized well stock and helpful staff

    (5)
  • Super M.

Filthy, dirty, neglected, I understand it gets busy but, how about getting your junior employee to sweep, wipe tables, refill napkin holders, etc. etc., at least every hour. Products are too expensive to have to walk around a puddle of water (post rain, yes, rain in Cali) to enter the establishment, can you spell lawsuit waiting to happen? anyway, get it together Starbucks Proprietor/Manager, clean the place up!

    (1)
  • Jay B.

Nice BIG store...one of the nicer one's that I have been to.

    (4)
  • Wesley L.

i waited a half hour for a Grande Frappuccino and when i asked if they had it all the guy said was "nope, sorry dude" will not go back, i didn't even want my drink anymore by the time i got it.

  • Jana H.

I'm not a fan of Starbucks as I feel my drinks always get burned (amazingly, it is possible to burn coffee) but i recently received a lot of starbucks gift cards for Christmas... Figured I'd give them another shot, and yet again, my coffee was burned. Looks like I'm getting a new mug or two instead. Only reason for 2 stars is I love the outdoor seating and communal table inside.

    (2)
  • G G.

This is the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I wanted to cash out a gift card and they claimed that they don't have the ability to. They said that I can go to another Starbucks, but their register won't let them. I pointed to the sign on their register listing all of Starbucks' payment policies, and they said that the sign was outdated. Finally, I pointed out that California state law requires them to cash out my gift card under $10, and that they can't make up their own policy that violates the law. The cashier relented and pushed a button on the register to cash out my card -- meaning she was lying the whole time about the register not letting her.

  • Heather H.

Just a regular Starbucks, except its HUGE. There was five people handling a constant rush and it still only took five minutes for our drunks.

    (5)
  • Rachel H.

It is Starbucks- so you know what to expect. Sometimes this location is way understaffed in the summer months for being in such a touristy location and can get quite a bit messy and busy. Staff is usually really friend though, you just may have to wait a bit, as sometimes that friendly staff will be taking your order then rushing over to make your drink too. :-)

    (3)
  • Alexander M.

Very dirty place, bad smell. Rude personnel, nobody cares about the mess. Baristas just talking to each other.

    (2)
  • Omar A.

Bad employee. The man who came evening to serve costumers is very urgent. He never smile and he kept looking to me until I leave the store. He does not respect people from minorities.

    (1)
  • Ellen H.

Lots of comfy seating. Lots of places to plug in and charge up. Only issue was they don't take your name so a couple of coffees got mixed up.

    (5)
  • Derrick W.

I come here at least 2 or 3 days out the week. They know my two drinks by heart and even better they are made great the first time.

    (4)
  • Special K.

I mean it's a Starbucks.. So the product is great.. But this location is the slowest it the slow... Takes soo long to get your drink. I've gone many times throughout the years when I just gotta have my Starbucks fix.. Each time thinking maybe it won't be as long as the last.. But again, annoyingly long wait and you are reminded of why I don't frequent often. That on top if the high prices.. Just not worth it! They even recently renovated the place.. I was super excited and hoping they would make it more of a cozy spot.. Somewhere to hang out, relax, get some work done (we don't have many if any of those spots around town, they are much needed!!) but no.. The renovation just added more reg table and chair seating and created more space for the huge crowd of random people that have to awkwardly gather there to wait forever for their drinks! Because they're Sooo sloooowww... Sigh. I've given up hope.

    (2)
  • Roy E.

I was in and out in less then 3 min, Ordered a Dolce latte. Parking is very limited as its located on a main strip. Weekends and holidays can be very congested as any typical coffee shop usually are. Note I did go in at 0530 in the morning. But love the fact that usually parking is vacant in front of the store and I can be in and out quickly before the morning stampede arrives. Customer service was great!!

    (5)
  • Christian H.

Slow and inefficient, one of the employees is very rude and she is constantly saying how unhappy she is at her job and it shows, no customer service skills whatsoever, this Starbucks ranks below the standard for other coffee shops in San Diego.

    (1)
  • Nicole M.

The service here is questionable. Staff seems very agitated. One girl in particular always looks angry and she lets the drinks sit on the counter rather than trying to find the thirsty customer. I don't get it. You make coffee. Just make the coffee and hand it over with a smile. If you can't smile when you hand over the coffee maybe you should try another job. I hear the Department of Corrections needs prison staff. Your icy cold face will come in handy there with the hardened prisoners. Anyway this isn't the best Starbucks but if you can definitely get your fix if you can't live without it.

    (3)
  • Marcus S.

Dont stay too late, they will sweep at your feet as their way of getting to leave. Smh.

    (3)
  • Fern S.

This is the most efficient and well-managed Starbucks I've ever visited, and I've been to a few. There were tons of customers on a Sunday morning, but we waited just seconds to place our order and then less than a minute to get our coffee. There were ample places to sit, indoors and out, the staff was friendly and the coffee was good. What a nice way to start a day at the nearby beach!

    (5)
  • Diane G.

We've been going to this Starbucks for years and I'm disappointed at the way it is being managed of late. It is consistently dirty, both behind the counter (even trash on the floors) and on the counters. The other day I found the bathroom to be empty of toilet paper and it took me awhile to even get someone's attention to alert them. Coronado is a wonderful place, with many nice restaurants and shops, you'd think Starbucks would try to be a bit more spiffy.

    (2)
  • George G.

Electrical outlets are to be found in abundance here at the Orange Avenue location, and I appreciate that. I am rocking a 7 year-old windows laptop. The battery holds a charge for about 30 seconds. So electrical outlets are still a really big deal to me. Maybe I'd buy a newer machine or an iPad or something, if I wasn't in Starbcks all the time spending my money on gourmet coffee and pastries. The atmosphere is just about ideal for working or studying, if you like coffee shops for that. There are lots of nice table options for working - I prefer the high tables across from the cash registers. Two big sky lights really give the place a nice look. Plus, obviously, the neighborhood is great.

    (4)
  • Monica K.

Worse Starbucks ever!!! The batista was obvious day one...and only 3 people handling in a long line. Sucks

    (1)
  • Chi T.

Being a Starbucks drinker, this location is a plus because it was right next to the beach. Ample of outdoor sittings and AC at full-blast inside. Baristas were polite and punctual. Great location

    (4)
  • Andrew D.

Nice place to hang out. The only problem is parking. We were here on a weekend and had to park nearly 1 mile away. It gets very crowded and sitting is limited. Overall, I was happy with my services. A good place to be if you can time it correctly.

    (4)
  • Joye D.

Place was not busy and it was a mess. Employees were more interested in talking to themselves then their customers. They were out of a lot of things, so choice was limited. Pretty bummed about this visit. No receipt was given to me.

    (2)
  • James R.

Unfortunately, this location is great but the general theme of most employees is that you will get your coffee on their time. They may smile, but they will leave one barista on with 20 drinks on bar. It's ironic as they often play French music... And act that way as well..

    (1)
  • Mister B.

Super slow even when there are barely any customers. Seems as though they are understaffed.

    (2)
  • Keith J.

The restrooms were a mess and it is a bother for them to give u ice water, according to the service just now

    (1)
  • Valerie M.

This is the perfect place to do your homework. There's lot of tables for everyone, inside and outside. So many coffee and sandwich choices. Bathrooms are always cleaned. There's a great atmosphere.

    (4)
  • L D.

Employees are very friendly and the store is very spacious. However, each time I go I have had to wait a long time for my drink. They really need to have more people making drinks. I also only ever order plain coffee.

    (2)
  • Juje J.

Nothing personal, but this Starbucks was staffed with a lot of people and only one person making the drinks. Don't get me wrong because the frappuccino I ordered was good. Unfortunately, I had to wait a little longer than I should have because the person making the drinks, screwed up on the previous customer that was before me. A little word of advice: If you're staffed with people and a situation occurs, have someone help out on the drinks...just my 2 cents.

    (3)
  • Luke B.

I like this location. Sometimes the service can be somwhat slow, but that's expected as this location is right at the heart of Coronado at Orange Ave towards the beaches. Very clean bathrooms too.

    (5)
  • Talar P.

It's Starbucks... same ol'. But ...this might be the biggest one I've been to. I loved the decor - very woodsy and western-ish. Really not like most of the other Bux I've been in. Also, bonus points for being open late (past 8pm is late for these Coronado Island folks).

    (3)
  • Michael J.

Quick friendly staff, even after a few short days from my visits they had my drink down! grab a seat and stay a while - you're in paradise! (and of course the patio!)

    (5)
  • Joshua M.

Crowded and loud, but not really busy. And most obnoxious was the fact that single individuals were taking up spots that would be better suited to multiple people hanging out together. I guess that's not the fault of Starbucks, but this place is in desperate need of one of those "wall bars" with power outlets. My drink was pretty good, but good grief it took FOREVER to get it.

    (2)
  • Carl S.

Seriously why does everything service related in Coronado have to suck so damn bad? I rarely get coffee here, however it seems every time I do it is always an experience that leaves me completely pissed. Today was the final straw. Seems this one Asian girl who works the mornings loves to mess up my order every single time I have been there. Today it was "Venti quad skinny latte please" followed by her grabbing a Grande cup (which I did not notice till after I got my drink), and then repeating "Quad what?", so I repeated it slower only to have her look at me like "Bitch I am too damn fine for you to think I am dumb first of all, and second everyone wants me".....now understand I only say this because every time she has taken my order it is something of this nature, usually her not paying attention because she is too busy grabassing with some guy who works there "who obviously wants her " too. Seriously, I know I sound like a complainer but this is just one of about 15 times I have experienced this at this store. Guess it is back to making my own coffee in the morning.

    (2)
  • M S.

Go to Clayton's...seriously, I only ever only coffee-plus-shots; the only reason I *ever* go to this Starbucks is because I literally do not have the time the to go to the walk-up window at Clayton's. If there is any sort of line there I will go to Clayton's. HERE'S THE 411: Everyone orders some sort of special drink so any drink that isn't basic coffee or tea will take an average of ten minutes, even if its just an add-shot. IF there is no one ahead of you in line, then this Starbucks is a 4 to 5 star place, but since it is always such a hopping place the delay drags the quality. GO TO CLAYTON'S

    (1)
  • Nancy H.

So unhappy with the barista's at 8am Sunday. I go there numerous times a week. Today they passed my drink order by two customers. When I mentioned it to both baristas, there was NO response. Just looking for a "sorry" at least...nada...nothing. Couldn't care less.

    (2)
  • Jimmy S.

A Few complaints about this particular Starbucks. One the tables were all messy. two the one Barrista they had was so slow and seemed semi retarded she was picking up all these different cups and just looking at them with blank stares. Starbucks you need to step up your coffee game. Third i often sit on the patio to use my computer and there internet is crazy slow. Also the power outlet on the patio is loose and jiggles around I am sure that cant be safe and should be fixed.

    (3)
  • John M.

I love this coffee shop! So full of life and the coffee brand is Starbucks. Put all of this in the heart of Coronado and it does not get too much better ;-)

    (4)
  • Thor A.

    Friendly Baristas in the house!

    (5)
  • Hank S.

The recent remodel here has really improved my experience at the Coronado Starbucks. Instead of a bland, traditional interior that was there in the past, it's now very polished and clean inside and on the patio. Service seems to be much better and the baristas seem happier as well, which is always a good thing! You won't feel cramped in this location; unlike some others, it's very roomy and open, but cozy nonetheless. They have a cool feature here that isn't present at many other locations, and that is the Clover brewing system. When you order a brewed coffee, it's brewed on the spot fresh, and quickly as well. Now you'll never be in danger of them running out of your favorite brew. This is probably the nicest Starbucks I've been to and it's quite a step up from before the remodel. Overall wonderful!

  • Jenny K.

My fave Starbucks location in the San Diego area! The place is spacious and has tons of loungy seating AND good study tables. Drinks were made well. What's there not to love about Coronado?

    (5)
  • Brian H.

I really like this Starbucks even though it's a pain in the ass to park here. I always take the extra effort to walk around beautiful downtown Coronado for my cappuccino before setting sail.

    (5)
  • Brian B.

The employees are nice and the coffee is (duh) Starbucks but since not many locals go here (they favor cafe 1134 or even the bagel place across the street), it's a great chance to hang out with very bitter arizona tourists. Escalade + personalized Arizona plates = Ass.

    (2)
  • Alfonso T.

Nice spacious layout... Open late, even after the other shops closed making if a great place to sit back and enjoy a warm cup. Not too busy so you'll get plenty of attention and have you drink quickly:)

    (4)
  • Sasha R.

They always run out of soy milk. At least post a sign so I don't wait in the long line before the news is broken to me. And, Vons is 1 block away. Send an employee to restock!? I complained and they sent me 2 certificates in the mail redeemable for coffee. This will be useful IF they have soy milk.

  • Ran M.

Walking into this Starbucks renewed my faith in the company. Living is Los Angeles County, I am so used to bad service at almost all of the Starbucks that I go to (with the exception of my neighborhood store) that I have come to expect it from the entire company. This store is totally blew me away. It felt being greeted by the barista upon entering the store. The barista who took our order was very knoweldgeable and directed us to a perfect cup of coffee from their Clover machine. The staff was professional, with their shirts tucked in (something you never see in LA) and the men actually wore ties. This store reminded me of why I started going to Starbucks in the first place! I'll be back.

    (5)
  • Ryan M.

Pretty much your run-of-the-mill Starbucks. Same experience as other locations but in a beautiful location, just a few minutes walk from the beach.

    (3)
  • Sarah H.

I think it's been established that I LOVE Starbucks...the only thing that determines stars for me at this point is the customer service and how they prepare my drinks compared to the "right" way.

    (4)
  • Curt L.

I loved this store! The store was recently renovated, and has architectural elements that begin indoors and carry through to the outside, which ties the two spaces together (a design feature favored by Frank Lloyd Wright). It is also one of a handful of Starbucks stores throughout the country that has one of the new Clover brewing systems ( starbucks.com/coffee/lea… ). The baristas were were helpful and friendly. I give it five stars.

    (5)
  • Hannah C.

I am so much happier with Starbucks than when I first moved here. It would take forever the get my drink in the morning (around 15 min). Then they re-modeled and somehow perfected their drink making. Now I can say this is a good Starbucks. Not the best, but definitely good.

    (4)
  • Ks K.

SBUX. good consistant, nice location on Coronado. Can get busy. Lines out the door busy.

    (4)
  • Angie G.

I love Starbucks coffee and most of the time I am very pleased with this location. I hate parking on Orange down by 9th and 10th, but what are you going to do? It's a nice and large Starbuck's with a great skylight. I agree with the Yelper who said it is colder than most Starbucks. I freeze every time I come in! But I'm sure some people love that. Staff is always super nice. Once in a while I will get a pretty bad coffee mess-up, but the amount of times I get really good coffee outweighs the bad. Only other complaint is the ridiculous lines that form during the summer with all of the Zonies. But that's not Starbucks' fault.

    (4)
  • Nokie N.

Clean and friendly service. At bit slow making my drinks but its ok.

    (3)
  • Noriel M.

This Starbucks has very friendly, genuine baristas. They are a busy store and you will have to wait a while for your beverage because of the line of drinks they have to prepare, but the store looks great and the baristas are very helpful. The baristas work really hard here and I don't mind waiting for my beverage. The store is much larger and has more seating area than any Starbucks I've been too. It also has many outlets for people who like to stay and use their laptops. Overall, a really good Starbucks to visit and plus the beach is right around the corner!

    (5)
  • Alex Z.

Three stars. Am I being generous? It's Starbucks...the corporate consistency is, well, consistent. You know what you're going to get, both for the food and drink, and to an extent, the atmosphere. How does this establishment differ from a typical Starbucks? I think the atmosphere here is a bit strange...it's a bit "colder" than most Starbucks, which cultivate a fast-paced, but dark and warm atmosphere. There's a bright skylight, which is nice. The outdoor seating area leaves a lot to be desired. There are only four tables, and it is a bit dark and dreary, and not laid out in the most pleasant or useful way.

My strawberry creme frapp was perfect.and its open till 1130, thats a plus!

  • Molly C.

First of all I love Starbucks! I used to work for one of the busiest ones in NYC. However, given all the tools and resources provided by the Starbucks franchise, this store is definitely lacking. They are VERY SLOW :( I have timed myself the last couple times I have been in and it's taken me no less than 15 minutes to get a drink each time. Not sure if they're understaffed or just poorly trained but they take forever to make drinks - which are hit or miss anyways. Sometimes the lattes are made correctly (fresh espresso and properly foamed milk) but sometimes they have that bitter taste and the "steamed" milk looks like it was microwaved - no foam. I think this place survives because it's the only Starbucks on the island and with the constant tourism, they don't need to earn repeat customers.

    (2)
  • J C.

No, no, no!!! this Starbucks seems to deliver consistently mediocre drinks at best! I can usually guide a not very experienced barista, not here. And on top of that it is the dirtiest of the hundreds of Starbucks Ive been to. All boils down to the management! Big bummer for me, I live here!

    (2)
  • David L.

A better starbucks location, it is clean and has a large open area with nice skylight.

    (5)
  • Pete S.

this is the slowest Starbucks that I have ever been in. I have been there at 3 different times of the Day, dosen't make a difference. Long lines or just 3 people in line. The least amount of time that I have waited is 25 minutes. They use to be quick, but now I won't even go in anymore.

    (1)
  • Angel L.

1.5 star. #sorrybutnotsorry and yes, I did just hashtag in a review @__@ Parking: street parking (bring quarters for the meters!!). Decor: this location is really nice and I could definitely see myself studying here if I lived and went to school nearby. It's Very open and there's a lot of open space in their lobby. There is also a nice patio area for outdoor seating that is actually under a roof. Service: I walked in and there were a good five people ahead of me. They moved the line at an average pace, but I'd hate to come here during their peak hours. I ordered a grande caramel apple spice with extra caramel sauce topped with whipped cream, a triple tall Americano with extra caramel sauce topped with whipped cream (can you tell I like me my caramel sauce and whipped cream? :P ), and a gingerbread loaf. I've been to more Starbucks locations than I could ever count and I used to work for starbucks not too long ago. When the barista handed me my first drink, I asked for a fork and knife for my pastry. He glanced over as if I was purposely bothering him and it was so hard for him to get me the plastic utensils. I also asked for a green stopper and he stopped to ask if I needed anything else. I thought that I would try to be funny so I said, the whole menu would be nice. NO DICE! he didn't even look at me, in fact.. he just ignored my comment and just got me what i asked for with an attitude. I was really disappointed with the kind of customer service i got, especially because my drink (the americano) didn't even taste right. The shots weren't calibrated and it didn't have the extra caramel sauce that I had asked for but I didn't want to 'bother" this partner again. -1 star for the attitude. -1 star for the disappointment. -1 star for being a jerk with no humor. -1 star for not calibrating your shots &not giving me what I wanted. + 0.5 star for having a nice store layout and decor. meh.

Wow, I've never met a more rude employee than the guy at the counter. He literally criticized my order and rolled his eyes when I didn't take him up on his unsolicited suggested for food which had meat and I'm a vegetarian. I will drive across the bridge to get coffee before ever stopping here again. No thanks.

Came to Coronado to visit a friend who loves Starbucks as much as I do. Suffice it to say, we were here almost every day. It was always incredibly busy, but there were a good number of courteous and efficient employees that made the wait less than it could have been. It has an outdoor patio with plenty of seats that is covered yet still lets in plenty of the ocean breeze. Fun place to hang out and people watch.

    (4)
  • Thomas B.

Starbucks as expected! A little slow for my liking, however the coffee was great as usual, and the staff very friendly. On a very positive note, on my last visit here for coffee service, the wait was minimal.

    (4)
  • Taani M.

Very slow service. Wrong drinks. Drinks could have been better. It's a pretty convenient location so they should do something about improving their service.

Staying down in Coronado for a couple days, while still working! Therefore, a visit to Starbucks before leaving paradise each morning is a must! The Starbucks on Orange Ave is fast, full of friendly, efficient employees, and create the same delicious coffees I'm used to. We were in and out of this Starbucks in only 5 minutes!

:-| This place is spacious... and busy... and needs a good cleaning... the barristas are nice enough. Everyone comes here, tourists, regulars, and homies alike. Don't order a Frapuccino Light. It's lame. It's like paying for a watered down version of the original. It's LIGHT, not only in calories, but in FLAVOR. ick. 3 Woofs

  • Nish A.

The service is very very slow here! I guess they are understaffed... The Starbucks is pretty crowded all the time but only two baristas... They were working hard but this Starbucks definitely needs more ppl.. I've visited 3 times n all 3 times the service was very slow

This is definitely the largest Starbucks I've ever been into! Saturday morning my husband and I showed up to grab a cup of coffee before morning errands and hoped that the line would move quickly seeing as there were multiple baristas and cashiers ready and working. To our surprise everyone standing prior to us and afterwards were long gone with their drinks and ours were still waiting to be made. Really? How does this happen! With that many people working someone could have noticed our cups never made it down the line. And our confused cashier looked at me like I was speaking another language when I asked for my bagel to be lightly toasted. Get a grip! So much for a quick coffee stop, we were late for our events. Gagh!

Nothing like a hot cup of coffee in the AM! My favorite is the Caramel Macchiato (upside down, with 6 pumps of vanilla, no whip). Its is deeeeeelicious! Customer service is great! Definitely recommend this place, but I am pretty sure almost everyone has had a starbucks at least once in their lifetime :)

It is a Starbucks and thus has certain standards. The only reason this place isn't a 1-star is because of the unique, air-conditioned store with a cool feel. The atmosphere brought it up and the drink was made on the money (grande no-whip mocha w/ a an extra shot) Reasons to go: 1) It is a convenient, familiar coffee chain store along a tourist strip of unfamiliar eateries open at inconvenient hours. 2) The coffee order was really good Reasons not to go: 1) Lines of locals peppered with tourists at an off-time during the day makes for a minimal 15 min wait 2) The staff is not fun. 3) You are next door to a mom & pop coffee store who is just as good in product and twice as good at friendly service. Save yourself a dollar and 10 min of time and go there instead.

Why the three stars? It would have been two because out of the 3 times Ive been here my drink has been wrong twice. I actually had great service with a smile today! Good service changes the way I feel about places! I dont know why my drink order is wrong. Its actually not that difficult. I usually order iced coffee or tea unsweetened. Yet they manage to put sweetener in it. theeeeeennnn I have to wait a while for them to remake it because a line grows.... grrrr I say! grrr! I love this location, I think it's one of the cooler, architecturally cool and decor-wise pretty locations. The staff is nice for the most part... The store has been clean. I usually try to stray away from SBux but Ive been getting some exceptional iced coffee from them lately!

I'm not quick to leave bad reviews, but this place was just downright gross. The whole store was FILTHY inside and out. The tables were all sticky and dirty, trash was everywhere you looked - on the floor, even piled up on the condiment counter. Staff was mediocre at best - in the 1 hour we were there (would've left but had to meet someone there), only 1 employee came outside to check tables, and she didn't even do that. But she sure did a good job with a fast sweep right next to our table, enough to kick up the dirt all around us! Um, thanks? She could've wiped off the filthy tables instead. Especially the one next to us where the customer had her very gross dog sitting ON TOP of the table - totally not sanitary, and the employee should've asked her to put him down. To top it off, I swear they made my drink with sour milk. I definitely didn't finish it but wasn't about to go back inside to get a new one!

I wish this was a good Starbucks because it's on my way to work. The 3 times I have seen the same few negative qualities demonstrated which leads me to believe the first time was not an anomaly. 1. Slow Service 2. Not good drink quality (it always seems like they miss a step in the drink making process). Starbucks in general are pretty consistent, but this is the outlier. 3. Not kept clean. Just my observations. Hope you have a better experience.
