Just eat there the other night. Have a peppercorn burger and my wife had the banzai burger. We make a point to set in the bar area to get away from the noisy families with kids that are often out of control. Much more relaxing in the bar area with the grown-ups. I've also had their fish and chips with is also real good. Service has always been good. We make sure to ask for more bottomless fries when our order comes, otherwise, if you wait until you fries ARE gone, and then ask for more, you'll be paying your bill before they arrive. Wish they has more beers on tap. They has a pretty limited selection. But their adult drinks, like boozy shakes and fruity cocktails are dangerous. They are SO good you'll want to down the first one and order two more. Then - by the time you finish them, you won't be able to walk out of the place, let alone drive home. So watch out for them.

Hard to believe that I've not Yelped Red Robin before! What a TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT today! Waitress was SLOW and there were 5 open tables around us so it wasnt like they were busy. When we ordered, I asked for a side of their new Ghost Pepper Sauce that they put on one of their burgers - and she forgot it. Had to ask for it again. When we ordered, we asked if we could have an order of fries while we wait since our group of 4 ordered 4 burgers that all came with bottomless fries. "Sorry, we dont allow that" -- let down, sure. But hey, its bottomless when the food gets to the table so ok. Guess I can wait. Food shows up and I asked for another order of fries when she sat the food down. Finished my burger and the 6 fries that came in their little metal circle contraption. Finally, she came back and I said "more fries please." The first extra order never showed up so I'll assume she didnt take me seriously when I asked for them immediately. Then, about 15 minutes later - yes 15 NO KIDDING MINUTES! - she comes back and says "they're taking all the fries for new orders and not filling the bottomless orders. Sorry." WHAT?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? Either they're no longer offering bottomless fries OR our waitress was useless OR both!! I bet if I said I would pay for them, I would have had them in 2 minutes. To top it off, she didnt even offer to comp my soft drink or have a manager come over to explain the problem. Believe it or not, there were several open tables in the restaurant when we walked out so NO - they were NOT overly busy! If the waitress wants to know why she got a $3 tip on a $55 bill, now she knows. I dont tip based on the waitress, I tip based on the experience and she's LUCKY to have gotten $3 of my money. We usually hit Red Robin when we're in the mall but BJ's and Lucille's will be getting our business for quite some time now. Sad to say it but I doubt Red Robin will be there in a year if they don't change their performance and get back to customer service. Today's experience was anything but!

Man... I feel bad for this restaurant because if you look at the passed 20 or so reviews, almost all are complaining of the same issues: cleanliness, wait time, and "discrimination." Let's start with the good: our waitress was very nice, you can tell that she worked hard, always on her feet, running around refilling drinks & what not. But through the niceness, you can tell she hated her job. I came with my bf and 2 nephews, we were told by the hostess there is a wait, even though there were vacant booths & tables. I know that they have to limit the amount of tables per waitress. Understandable. But, what I don't understand is how a larger group, 5 adults, got their table before us, even though we arrived first. "Bigger tables are available" says the hostess. OK, a little discriminatory in my opinion mind you that they were "American." Whatever we didn't mind. Lots of changes since I've last dined here: no more fries prior to your burger being served, which is the biggest downside I think! We loved going to RR and enjoying their bottomless fries while we wait for our entrees. Their "garlic" fries are not what it used to be. It's now powdered garlic salt. It use to be heated Parmesan cheese with pieces of fresh garlic in oil. Not no more. Their burger size have gotten smaller!! And my nephew's corn dog were little corn dog bites..6 little pieces. So much have changed, maybe new management? I did appreciate the waitress' hard work... But it just wasn't enough. I probably won't be back to RR for a long while.

What in the hell has happened to you Red Robin? You used to be so freaking amazing. You were a place where a burger lover can go to actually get a decent burger. That ship has sailed apparently because my last two times at this location the burger has been way underwhelming. The problem lays in the actual burger patty itself and not any of the condiments that cover it. The burgers are absolutely flavorless now. A little salt and a little pepper would do freaking wonders for the burger. All the condiments in the world can't mask the taste of a tasteless burger. Even though the service is usually quite good here, sometimes it can be spotty. Case in point: The last time we came here there was a new guy bussing tables. He was trying pretty hard to clear the tables in a timely manner and in the process accidently banged a few classes together which were a little loud. It was no big deal and nothing was broken. The woman standing at the hostess stand however thought differently since she had to loudly make fun of him. The guy paid no notice to her and kept on his way.. The hostess however needs a serious attitude adjustment. I really hope this location can get it together and soon because I as I stated before, I love Red Robin. I want to continue loving Red Robin so please fix it.

Just left Red Robin tonight and thank you to the two young lovely ladies who gave my husband and I the BEST service. Kayla the bartender made my Souza Margarita so GOOD, love the extra shot and had to order twice. Tia thank you for being the BEST waitress at the location. We dine there all the time and by far you are the best attentive waitress ever. THANK YOU for a wonderful Saturday evening.

This location delivered SHOCKING disappointments tonight. After contacting corporate to discuss previous bad experiences, we returned with the generous gift card to make good on the offer to make it up to us. Instead I had one of my all time worst experiences. 1) We ordered the small size buffalo boneless wings appetizer. We found a single slice of deep fried pepperoni in the basket. I don't know of any items on the menu that include pepperoni, but nevertheless, buffalo wings certainly don't. 2) As I tried to cut a wing in half with a fork, I was unable to cut it. I looked closer and saw the inside of the chicken was completely raw. Thank god I didn't just have a bite, you can kill people with chicken this raw. 3) As we were getting ready to leave, a bus boy carrying a tray of dishes went to put the tray on the table next to us to clear it, and instead hit the chair, rattling the dishes. It startled us, but no harm done. We were sitting in the bar very near the hostess stand. We heard the hostess turn to the bus boy and say "Is this your first day?" VERY loudly. He looked embarassed and nodded yes. She replied "GOOD JOB". I assumed she was teasing him but I turned and looked at her, and her face was filled with rage towards him. This girl's name is Stevie, and she was definitely the same girl who did the thing with the menus from my previous review. She is unbelievably rude and unprofessional, it's mindboggling. She is cruel and heartless to coworkers shamelessly in front of customers. In my estimation after repeat visits, she is a terrible employee that should be let go. I had high hopes that this experience would be better, after being told my feedback was given to this location's management. I don't know if that's true, or if they care, because this visit was among the all time worst. Raw chicken and cruel unprofessional employees are unforgivable offenses. This Red Robin can officially go straight to Hell, because that's what eating there is like nowadays. The corporate company and founders would be ashamed to know this is what their business has come to.

The quality of the food at all red robins has seriously declined. Sure they got a way bigger menu and options, but what good are those options if the flavors of the burgers are mediocre? The flavor of the meats are bland and rely to heavily on the topics. My favorite choice ain't even a burger here, it's the whisky BBQ chicken sandwich. The bottomless fries are mediocre and I'm too sure if their wedge or steak fries but there something in between. It's bottomless for a reason. 10-15 years ago, Red Robin used to have that great mom and pop feel to its burgers, actual seasonings and flavors.

Came in for dinner on a Friday night, it was relatively busy but the staff seems very well trained and capable Friendly service, quick, and my glass glass never even emptied. Basically your average Red Robin but with quicker service. Thank you Claudine!

Food was quick and delicious. But my mojito was so watered down that it tasted like a flavored water. I was disappointed I had to pay $8 for something that wasn't that great.

I used to be a big fan of Red Robin, but this place is now "blacklisted" for me. No fault of my amazing server or nice manager, but of the cook's... Who put RAW EGG on my burger. One side of the white was cooked, but the top egg white was CLEAR and mucousy! Yolk was raw too and soaking into the bun. I was absolutely shocked. Isn't this their famous burger? The edges of the burger where charred black, but served with raw egg. It just doesn't make sense. How do you make this mistake? I was so hungry that I wiped it off and took a few bites, but was sick to my stomach with the image of the egg that I couldn't even eat the fries. I am not usually one to complain. And I usually finish my meals. I told my waitress what happened when she asked how things were. She was so understanding and friendly. I didn't want to make a fuss, but yes a manager should know. The manager took me seriously and then also discounted my burger. Those ladies were great, and I appreciated their attention, but I can't overlook what I was served from the cooks. Something is wrong in the kitchen. I hope they address the issue, but my stomach isn't going to allow me to return here. Please check your royal burger if you dare to dine here.

Food took forever to arrive. Waitress guilt tripped me for each refill I requested for my 'bottomless beverage' 'Bottomless fries'....we asked for a single refill 3 times and only after pestering them 2 more times, did it come. Waitress seemed to treat us badly/was unresponsive to our requests...as I looked around the restaurant, we seemed to be the only mixed couple there...we're not from Mars. Treat us nicely and we'll do the same for you. Waiter/waitress both stopped at our table, talking at the same time, was very confusing, almost had a panic attack because they were leaning too close to me. All in all, would not return because of the slow/questionable service

Worst service ever don't even go there. The waitress was so lazy and so rude it was almost laughable. The food was very salty I got the feeling they done it deliberately as a joke.

Sad but they turned us away anout 7:50 P.M. They basically told us that they could seat us but that the food will not be served for 45 minutes because they had had a rush for dinner and the kitchen was a mess however when we walked in the restaurant it was not busy so we left and went to Johnny Rockets instead!! Shocked!!

This place has always had service that was hit or miss for me. The product and delivery of food is expected, but I've never had that high of expectations for this place. Whenever I come here, I know I can count on having a tasty burger. Although my latter years have been more picky, searching for more health-conscious, good-for-the-body kind of dishes, this is definitely a place to indulge. And the bottomless steak fries are something you NEED to take advantage. Their strawberry freckled lemonade is delicious, as I often compare others to theirs and always reign Red Robin's as the tastiest. Plus, the bottomless refills and real strawberry pieces are to die for. My personal favorites are the Prime Chophouse, which has a tasty melt of onion strings and mushrooms on an onion bun. The Arctic Cod Sandwich or fish 'n chips are satisfying. I love the Bruschetta Chicken sandwich as it is reminiscent of Italian flavors with pesto aioli, bruschetta salsa on a ciabatta bun. The burgers are definitely a LOT smaller than you'd expect from their pictures, but most choices will satisfy your appetite, and the bottomless steak fries with campfire sauce (blend of a ranch-y sort of bbq sauce) is lovely. There was one time where I had waited an hour for my order to arrive because the waiter had seemed to forget our table and/or forget to put our order in. That was a terrible experience as our time in the restaurant was WAY overdue. Another time the waiter was completely pleasant and came by our table constantly. Staff atmosphere feels very careless overall. Always hit or miss. Indulgent food with cheap quality doused in sauce, just please don't think twice about your food decisions!

Do not go here!!!! I used to LOVE going to red robin but I'll never go back after my last experience with them. If I had to give this place any stars, the only 1 would be for our server who was just about the only good thing about this place. The food was mediocre at best. I ordered one of their special appetizer fries. Totally served cold as if it sat under a warmer for several minutes before someone noticed it was ready to be served. I also ordered the half order of the honey bbq wings. I thought half of 10 was 5, so why did I only get 4 wings? Anyways! I ate my food without complaints because I'm not the kind of person to really complain and besides like I said our server was really nice and I was enjoying lunch with my friend... UNTIL it came time for the bill. Our server assumed we were splitting it since we had 2 cards which was not the case but if she had asked before running away with our check she would have known that. Long story short, they overcharged me and though they promised the larger charge wasn't going to go through the receipt that was proof of the voided charge they gave me was of the lesser amount. So I asked to speak to a manager to possibly initial the receipt with the correct amount of my refund in case I had to come back but the first manager I spoke with had no idea what to do so she grabbed the "General Manager" who is the REASON I will never come back to this location. This man, Dagoberto was his name, was incredibly rude to both me and my friend. He neither apologized nor corrected the mistake they made on my receipt. Instead he looked at us and spoke to us like we were the biggest inconvenience instead of paying customers who had waited for over a half hour AFTER we were done with our meal only to get told that we won't have to come back bc he had "fixed the problem." Clearly, 5 days later I finally get a refund and he's right - I WONT BE BACK!

The parking for this place is a bit obnoxious, but that likely is just a side-effect of being part of the mall. It takes far too long to find a spot in most cases, and you end up stuck behind someone who is themselves waiting for someone to load their car and leave. The restaurant though, is quite nice. Not too warm or cold. We sat at a table. They have a huge menu, and the waiter started us off with drinks very quickly. I first asked for a Budweiser, at which point they said they didn't have any, which I thought was odd... I then asked for a Blue Moon, which they said they were out of also. Sucks to have to go to your 3rd choice due to bad selection but there could be worse things. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and WOW, this was easily the best part of the meal. I ordered it Well-done, and they did indeed cook it well done. If you like well-done burgers also, then you know there is a special taste to it when it is cooked correctly. Well, they absolutely nailed it! :) The fry's were good also, though perhaps a hair bland. There was one minor incident while we were there. The table we were sitting at was a tall table using tall bar-style chairs. Unfortunately the bottom of the table was not completely balanced. On several occasions, the table was bumped accidentally which shifted the balance to the other side, which caused the table to rock slightly to that side with enough force to cause beer to spill out of the glasses (I had to grab my beer quickly so it didn't completely fall over). The real surprise came at the end when we got the bill. We didn't expect it to be cheap, but when we saw the total as $35 we were a bit taken back. We had both each just got a bacon cheeseburger and a single beer. The amount that they feel that they can charge for a single beer, simply because they poured it into a cold glass, is disgusting. We could have bought a 30 pack of beer for what we ended up paying just to drink two.

1st visit - got an email for a free BDay burger! Had lots of questions- staff seemed impatient & not very helpful or interested.. Ended up taking a seat @ the bar..I'm vegan so asked to sub a boca burger for the guacamole burger w/ portabello mushrooms. Finally got my red platter with a pale microwaved boca, no tomato, scarce chopped lettuce, 3 mushroom slices accompanied by 7 limp/brown friesall just lukewarm!I couldn't believe how unappetizing it all looked!!( took a picture) I Felt ignored- no one asked if it was ok or if I needed/wanted more fries or lemonade.. I had to look for a server to request more fries & my missing tomato.. These 2nd fries were hot & crisp, but seemed dry & I was presented a plate w/ a lettuce leaf & 3 tomato slices.. I ended up only eating 1/2 my burger & had to wait to request more fries & a "doggie bag" Finally when I paid I was asked how my burger was.. Service & food very uninviting, impersonal, lackluster, apathetic, below par Very unimpressed & disappointed I MAY try again next year, but then again, maybe NOT!!

Gosh. I miss the good old days at Red Robin.... Here's what we got this time: There were clean tables that could not be used due to short staffing on a Friday night. Hostess who was convinced there was a blue wallet left on our table when there was not. No fries till you get your meal any more. Not enough clean silverware to set the table, food took forever (no fries to keep us happy.) cold food, overcooked burger, barbecue burger missing barbecue sauce, . Our waitress Alexus was wonderful but you could read her embarrassment as the meal fell apart. Sad.

Red Robins will always have a special place in my heart / stomach but unfortunately, their garlic bottomless fries was a fail today and I'll explain why in a minute. Anyways let's start from the beginning! We were seated quickly since it wasn't a complete full house for lunch & we got a super nice waiter. We ordered cheese sticks and fried mushrooms as part of the 2 side appetizers which arrived fairly quick. The cheese sticks was the bomb like always with Mozzella cheese that just oozes out with every crunchy bite. And the fried mushrooms were delicious! Crispy yet light, they were cooked to perfection. As for entrees, I got my usual Avo-Cobb-O salad, bf got the Smoke & Pepper Burger with normal bottomless fries, and because I'm a RR card member, I got a free monster shake for any order $10+ so I got the mint brownie shake. I then asked if they can switch normal fries with garlic fries & the waiter said "sure it's just they changed it up now...they no longer use fresh garlic like they used to but now it's substitute with garlic herb." He said he's not a fan of it but I was like whatever I'm down to try new things. Waiter came back after 5 mins with our orders and immediately I disliked the smell of the fake (nasty) garlic herb fries. I took a bite of it was it nearly made me throw up. The disgusting scent was so strong that it made me nauseated. It smelled like rotten bleu cheese!!! If you've ever had REAL garlic fries from RR then you should know that it was the best! These fake garlic herb fries however, was manure compared to the old fries! Idk why they got rid of real garlic and substitute this crap in but because our waiter was so nice, he not only brought 2 side orders of fries but he didn't even charge us for the garlic herb since it is considered an extra for anything other than normal fries. I'm sooo grateful we didn't have to pay for those awful herb fries because we ended up not eating any of it after taste-testing ONE fry! On the other hand, our entrees was delish like usual! I love their salads here & they give huge portions that will make anyone struggle to finish their meals in one sitting! The mint brownie milk shake was refreshing as well! Not too minty and not too sweet; it was the perfect balance. Definitely recommended. He came back and was like "so how do you guys like the garlic fries?" And I responded confidently "I hated it." He just laughed and was like "yeaaaa I know right?" Lol what a shame!!!! RR you guys need to bring back ur REAL garlic fries again because that fake garlic shit is not cutting it! Stop being cheap forreal! I love RR with all my heart (and stomach) but the garlic fries disappointed me :( I would've given this a 5 star but since the fries were such a big deal to me that you guys lost 2 stars from me. Better luck next time!

Went last night to have dinner. My husband and I both ordered the Fish & Chips like we have many many times before, our plates arrived with our fish looking burnt! I asked that they prepare them again because I have never seen them cooked so well done before. The waiter said no problem and both plates were taken away, we were then given new plates and they still looked over cooked but not as bad, so I decided to give them a try. Something very wrong has happened to their recipe, they were absolutely tasteless. I have no idea what they omitted or forgot but don't even bother with their once delicious Fish & Chips. Too bad they were the best around. I complained they were not the same and ordered a cheeseburger which was good. That's why I gave them two stars.

We hadn't been here in a while, and my husband wanted to go after hearing on and on about a meal his coworker had. We sat in the bar area, and we receive great service. The waitress was very attentive, she kept checking in and was very friendly. We both ordered burgers, and the wait time for food was not that long, but we were disappointed with what we got. The buns reminded me of Burger King, with sesame seeds, and the meat patty's were very thin and lacked flavor, kinda like a fast food burger (think Burger King). Now I have nothing against Burger King, but when you are paying more to sit down and go out to dinner at a place like Red Robin, I expect a higher quality burger, and I'm not talking steak house, but some where in between.

I personally had really good food and service here (despite other people's experiences). The parking is really good because it is part of a mall structure with multiple levels. I went when it was Veteran's Day and they hooked it up with a free burger and fries among other goodies! The server was super sweet and super attentive to my refills and bottomless fries. Will be back!

Came in for dinner today (5/25/2015), ordered the royal red robin burger. food came out pretty quick. asked for extra fries, took about 20-25 mins to receive a half a$$ order of fries. the basket literally had 9 pieces because i counted the basket. patron next to me ordered a simple cheeseburger and it never came. she got fed up and asked the bartender to cancel her order and left. manager knew there was a issue with the kitchen and people have been complaining throughout the day (according to the bartender) he has no sympathy, empathy, doesn't look like he has any type of customer service background, never apologized for the long wait, no remorse in his face, not even a smile on his face nonetheless. just one question, HOW IS HE A MANAGER IN THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS? he definitely should not be a manager at all for any type of business.

The WORST! Couldn't pay me to waste my money & appetite @ this Red Robin again, EVER! Bottomless fries are a joke! We were served 8 or 9 slightly warm steak fries w/ our slightly warm burgers, we asked for more fries right away which didn't come until we asked AGAIN. We were finished w/ our burgers when fries finally showed up. We would have liked to have the fries WITH the rest of our meal. They serve you just a few fries then make you wait for your 'refill' so you're finished eating by the time the 'refill' arrives so you're really just getting a normal order of fries. 'Bottomless fries' what a joke! We were charged $1.99 'Entertainment Fee' because we messed w/ the iPad thing on our table. We didn't know there was a charge until the bill came. When our server explained the 'Entertainment Fee' I said Red Robin should inform customers of the charge; she replied, "I know, that's what everyone says." Red Robin; you're losing the customer service game, a lot of other restaurants serve burgers & fries w/out falsely advertising promotions or adding $1.99 w/o their customers knowledge. You'll find me @ THOSE restaurants-NOT Red Robin!

my experience has never been great at this red robin location but this last time has been the worst. safe to say I'll never come back. to begin, the floors are extremely dirty. buns, ketchup, pickles.... you name it. their busboys or waiters need to learn to do some housecleaning. second. almost slipped in their bathroom because it was filthy. not sure if it was pee or water on the floor. waitress extremely inexperienced. asked what I wanted to drink, I told them I would like nothing. after ordering, asked again what I wanted to drink.... I just told you... I don't want anything. I then asked what the bottomless fruit salad was... and she responded... "it's a fruit salad". well... okay... I know that.... I want to know what kinds of fruit... is it canned fruit.. is it fresh... don't order the grilled chicken. it's charred and overcooked, super dry. I read some other reviews where it said the chicken was raw. something definitely wrong with their cooks. got the royal red robin burger. extremely dry and I didn't even get it well done. sides were all burnt to ash. honestly in n out is much better and cheaper. asked for the manager to get a replacement for the grilled chicken. he was kind and said okay. I also asked for more fries. surely it gets better from here right? since the manager is now involved. nope. neither the waitress nor the manager came by again. my fries never came. 15 minutes later, the replacement came. the manager is more like a busboy, busy cleaning up tables rather than managing the team. he's a nice guy... just not suited for this line of work. I asked for a to go box and that took another 5 minutes.... after the check came, I was tired of more waiting so I wanted to pay up front where there was someone. but nope. as soon as I got up, the waitress shouted at us, hounding us about how she was in charge of the bills and checks and that she'll take it in front of all the other customers... extremely rude. it's like she thought I was going to leave without paying. I had a birthday burger anyway and honestly their food isn't worth paying for. save yourself the terrible experience. go to other locations.

Literally the worst service of any chain restaurant ever. It took 15 minutes for my drink to come out and after finishing all my appetizers dying of thirst no one even offered water or to clear the table. As I quickly became frustrated at having to wait for anything to be done I decided to act on my own. I took it upon myself to put myself in their Payless shoes and do their job. I moved all my empty plates and empty glasses from my table to the bar. Upon my doing so the ghetto and very rude bartender Danielle stated "what is this sh*t?" I in return stated that "this is sh*t that someone else should be doing but I am!!!" This establishment is disgusting and needs to train their staff on the true definition of customer service and that a smile goes a long way. Minimum wage effort equals minimum wage pay.

My husband and I have been eating here for almost twenty years... and now it's most definitely the end of that era. Run, don't walk, away from here! The restaurant was filthy, it took almost a half hour to get our food (only five other tables were filled), and my salad was completely inedible (drowning in dressing).

My friends and I got seated in the bar area today and service did not seem very attentive. Not sure what the system is like, but once we were seated, we waited maybe 5-10 minutes before a server walked by, looked back at us, then checked to see if anyone had helped us yet. It took another 30 minutes for our food to come out, but the Banzai burger my sister and I shared was delicious! We only got one refill of our bottomless fries though, so that was a bit saddening. :( I've been to this location before and service had been better when we were seated in the "normal" seating area. But, I'm honestly not sure if your seating area will determine how your service will be. It has been a while since my last visit. I still like the food they serve though. Just make sure you're not in a rush to get anywhere since things may take a while.

Not bad, not fantastic. Went during lunch, at Sunvalley Mall, on the day after Christmas. It was extremely crowded, and a table for 2 required a 20 minute wait. We were finally seated, next to a group of women with a screaming baby that no one seemed interested in caring for. Awesome. I will say that separate parties are forced to sit a bit closer to each other than would be ideal, and in these situations, it's like sitting at a table in hell. Jessica, our server, was very nice and professional. I ordered a standard double-cheeseburger ($7) with a gluten-free bun (+$1). The burgers all come with "bottomless" steak fries, which makes it seem like a great deal - and in essence, it is. What you get in return is the inconvenience of having to repeatedly ask for more fries, as the initial serving is fairly small. This is cool when they aren't busy - when they are, it really sucks. They have a delicious and gluten-free honey mustard sauce, and having a ketchup bottle on the table was appreciated. I'm really happy to have the option to eat out at a burger place as a gluten-intolerant person, but on it's own the gluten-free bun is pretty dry and almost stale tasting. I'm not excited about eating this again in the future, and would probably go with a salad. Because the clientele we shared our meal with were by far the worst part of the experience (is it rude to move away from a screaming child?), I would return to Red Robin during a less-busy time. The food definitely wasn't bad, kind of like a Denny's for grown-ups. It's also relatively affordable, depending on what you order. I'm intrigued by the cocktails, boyfriend goes for the gourmet burgers. Pending another day at the mall, we'll be back.

Have you ever had one of those restaurant experiences where you keep giving questioning glances to your dining partner(s) and debate whether or not it would be rude or justified if you just walked out? That pretty much sums up our experience here. I lost count of how many times I muttered "This is ridiculous!" to my husband throughout this process. From the onset, the 3 hostesses were more interested in talking about their weekend festivities vs. hosting tables. You know it's bad when you see group after group of people leaving, but no one is being seated. The waitresses were, quite literally, doing everything. They never stopped moving as they served food, bussed tables, and brought out menus, drinks, & food. All while the hostesses remained at the hostess station...talking. A caught a couple of the waitresses looking at them and rolling their eyes. My husband and I kept wondering where the manager was during this fiasco. We decided to keep waiting since it was in the middle of lunchtime and figured that by the time we went somewhere else and waited for a table there, we would be getting our food here. Boy, were we WRONG. We waited for over 30 minutes before asking one of the hostesses when we could expect a table to open up (who seemed annoyed to no end that we would ask such a thing, even though there were several open tables, because she obviously had more important things to discuss with her coworkers). We were seated 5 minutes later. (Take note that people who had been waiting before us and didn't ask had not been seated at this point.) Once at our table, the menus were in our hands a few minutes later. We took that as a sign that at least we would be taken care of at this point. Boy, were we WRONG AGAIN. After waiting another 30 minutes, I began looking on Yelp for a nearby restaurant. We had just decided on another place to eat when our waitress showed up unexpectedly to take our order. Hunger tends to make me apathetic, which is the only reason I can give as to why I even placed an order after all this (plus the fact that their salads are always delicious at the Manteca restaurant.) So as I grudgingly sipped my water and continued asking my husband why in the heck we hadn't left yet. I guess I also figured it couldn't get any worse, right?! Boy, was I WRONG AGAIN. We waited ANOTHER 30 minutes for our food (all I can say again is that hunger = apathy. The struggle is real!) And when our food arrived...[drumroll, please] it was COLD?! The Chicken on my Crispy Tender Salad had been seriously overcooked and was cold...not lukewarm, not even cool, but COLD. I pushed the chicken to the side and ate the salad. I would have asked to speak to a manager, but I was beyond exasperated and I just wanted to get the heck out of there. The one good thing I take from the experience is to always watch for the signs (that were obvious from the start at this place) and leave sooner rather than later.

Came in 620, 745 wrong orders, ordered 2 appetizers, never got em. Left early, asked for a reorder, still got it wrong. It ruined what was supposed to be a simple dinner date, I asked for the check and still took forever. Worst Red Robbin I've ever been too. I'd rather drive to Fremont for burgers. Never gave napkins, took 30 min for our drink, our waiter Tia lost her temper and yelled at a coworker who was helping her get it right. Then blames it on the cook for all the mistakes. As I write this we never got our APPETIZERS and we walked out the door. Never again I never thought I'd give a 1 star or a bad review. Usually when have bad service I don't write anything, but seriously, you made me do something I probably never do

I have been coming here for many years and have loved every experience. Danny, my waiter gave the best service and was more than accommodating. The food came out in about 10-15 minutes and checked in on us multiple times. He was helpful and super nice. I recommend him to be your waiter.

I waited 30 mins to get a seat when the there's plenty of open tables and then another 35 mins for my food. Weird thing is I thought it was a racist or age difference issue cause a bunch of old white folks table next to us and is a larger group got there food and drink and fries while they wait in like 15 mins. Bad enough I had a fly swarming around my food. Disgusting...

Don't expect gourmet offerings. Been coming here for years, not for the food but for the convenience. Great place to rest and wet your whistle in the middle of a day of power shopping. We usually explore the drinks menu and split an order of steak fries. In the height of summer, my favorite drink/dessert combos to order are the Kahlua or Bailey's shakes. Yummy grown up versions of a milkshake. A perfect way to cool down. For more fruity cocktails, I get the Freckled Lemonade or the classic Sand in your Shorts.

If your really hungry and want a good burger come here and be sure to get those bottomless fries refilled. I recommend the Parmesian garlic fries they are much tastier! Everyone knows Red Robin is the chain restaurant for burgers. I recommend getting your burger done rare-medium as this place seems to cook things more well done. The service here is typically not that fast due to the mall crowd keeping this place near capacity on all weekends. It is a safe bet you will have a good meal regardless of what burger you order. They also have a great Hawaiian smoothie!

This Red Robin is conveniently located, being that it is a part of Sun Valley Mall. The best thing about red robin is their bottomless fries and drinks. It's always a great place to go if you're hungry. I also love their tower of onion rings; their barbecue sauce is so good! Giving this place 3 stars cuz it's a pretty average dining experience.

HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE Four of us dined at Red Robin for dinner, the entire experience was bad from start to finish. First of all the restaurant, dishes, silverware & tables were dirty, the door to the kitchen was open near the restrooms. It smelled like rotten trash, the kitchen was a filthy disaster. After waiting 40+ minutes for our food, two out of three orders were wrong, all were stone cold including the fries. The Garden burger was absolutely dry and tasteless. Terrible service, obvious that the waitress could care less about her job, customer service, or the food. Even the five (counted them) "bottomless" fries were not crisp; mixed old, greasy & stale. We will never ever return to this restaurant; what a disorganized filthy mess. Half the people around us returned their food, and were heard complaining to the manager. We were then overcharged, waitress had inadvertently added an extra burger onto our tab. Another blunder, more wait time, serious issues in this restaurant.

If I could post 0 stars I would. My "house salad" is smaller then an entree and with food allergies they do not offer anything else I can have. If I can't eat anything it's ok but if I'm ordering a salad I expect a salad not a pile of lettuce the size of my palm. Called the manager over- said he can't do anything for us and it's not his fault and he walked away. Terrible customer service. Other people in my party's food was cold, the complete wrong order, serving portions were inconsistent, and food took so long to come out. So disappointed as I've come here before and had a good experience! Apparently they recently changed plates and managers which was the excuse. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else.

Racist and judgmental staff!!!! Went in today to a horrible experience. Host was new and scrambling to find tables and we waited about four minutes before anyone approached us. As a former host and server four minutes is long enough for customers to walk out that is not a timely manner. She then appeared and asked how many. I think it matters even though sadly it shouldn't; my friend and our are plainly dressed no makeup because we're in between errands. We clean up nice lol but we look plain for the mall. "Two and a baby. High chair please." Three nicely dressed women came in with two kids and approach her. "How many?" "Six" she disappears for about three minutes without saying anything comes back and seated the table of six who came in after my friend and I were already standing there. She looked at us, baffled I said "we're not part of their party" she goes "I know I'm helping them first." They had no reservation. They walked in afterwards. Ok whatever. Two more minutes go by she comes back. Mind you my friend is a former host and server as well. She has a one year old who can barely walk And is super tiny. We're asked booster or high chair again. "High chair" "well I can't seat you with a high chair at a booth (we didn't ask for a booth)" "anywheres fine" "but a booster is ok?" Friend and I look at each other. "Um no she can fall over in a booster chair." She sighs impatiently and says "hold on" and disappears. This is where it went disgusting. I turn to my friend (in confidence like BETWEEN US) "what part didn't she understand that the baby can't sit in a booster seat? As a host she should know that." Irritated I tell HER "not a good host" and we laugh it off...then we look around to see where she went now it's been almost ten minutes because she chose to set up the big party first as well. Baby is crying and this Spanish guy unshaven walks up to the stand doesn't ask us if we need help and says "actually she's a great host." I said "okkkkk" like why are you barging in my convo? I didn't even see him there! Creepy! Especially if you don't know she's not being a good host. I turned to my friend to say something unrelated and he goes "she is a Great host." I just ignore him because I'm already over this waiting and being ignored thing and he goes "she's new". I turned to him and said "that doesn't matter. " and I smiled at him to try to convey to him I still felt she was poorly trained (you don't disappear from the host stand for five minutes and take people out of order) but she was friendly I will give her that so I had no issue with her but I felt my "it doesn't matter" came out as Like whatever it doesn't matter to me. He took it sideways and personal and unprofessional to another level. She comes back and he stops her and says blatant in front of us "DONT SEAT THEM IN MY section. IM NOT SERVING THEM." What? We're happy to be out with perky attitudes did he really just say that. He shouts it to her again "don't seat them in my section. I don't want them." I was disgusted. She looked around for somewhere to put us and sat us at a table quickly then said nothing! Nada!! She literally tossed the menus down and booked it. What do I hear? "You didn't sit them in my section did you?" What a miserable person. My husband would never speak to a strange woman like that much less as a sever at work. I complained to the manager and he said "sorry" and refused to hold his employee accountable. I said "he owes me an apology" "you don't get that. I represent this company and him." Um dude you're not the asshole he was. This is what red robin represents now? Even if I said "that hostess is stupid blah blah blah " it was to a friend and he had no business interrupting or putting in his two sense. As for saying three times not to seat us in his section infront of us that would have gotten him fired at my last two serving jobs. I was so upset the manager was not giving a shit though he really acted like it He deserves an award. But until I said "I don't want a free meal or anything just an apology that was horrible and started to CRY he forced a gift card on me. I told him "I told you I didn't want anything free. I don't even want to be near that guy" and he said "no come back try us again" like money is supposed to buy back a shitty experience that ruined my day?? I've had bad service there before. Go somewhere anywhere else! They don't care about family environments or they would have hired friendlier staff not staff I seen outside smoking. BY THE WAY the party couldn't be waited on because I overheard the manager saying "that party of six (the ones sat before us) can't be served. He's out there smoking." And he said it pissed like the server wasn't on break which I've seen at restaurants I worked at before plus I did see a non server smoking directly in front of the doorway. And I gave the gift card away. Don't go there! They judge you on looks and just want your money!!!!!

Decided to have lunch with my lady here, after a long hour of debate of where we should eat lol. Red Robin never disappoints. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger which came with bottomless fries (all you can eat, essentially). My girlfriend ordered the clucks and shrimp entree that also came with bottomless fries. Everything was really good, especially with their campfire sauce. Maybe I just have a small stomach, but I got full before I finished my 2nd round of fries.

Maybe because the Red Robin we have visited is the only full-service restaurant in the Sun Valley Mall, they get a good business. They always seem to be crowded. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be the high quality of the food that attracts people, just the convenience. My wife and I have eaten at the Sun Valley location maybe three or four times over the past few years. Each time it was a matter of impulse. We were at the mall, we were hungry, and we were in the mood for food, any food. But, really, the food is no better than most chain restaurants or fast-food places. You're better off ordering a hamburger or a sandwich of some kind; otherwise, you risk getting pretty ordinary fare. Service is good unless the restaurant is overcrowded. The place is a little loud, too, but I suppose one has to expect that. The last time we were there, we sat next to a family with noisy kids. Bad luck, I suppose. The place is good for what it is: a fine place for a quick bite, but not really a destination one necessarily plans for.

This is my first one star review. I'm not a negative person. But, last night I had a really bad experience at this place. It started with the unfriendly hostess. She looked at me and I my boys and walked away. No big deal. It's 4:30pm. They are getting ready for Friday night. We got a table and my son and I ordered our burgers with out mayo. 30 minutes later they arrived with extra mayo. Enough for 2 to 3 burgers. The waitress said oh yeah and took both of them away and returned 10 minutes later. They were the same burgers. It looked like they wiped some of mayo off and now they are cold. Sorry. Never going back!

Not really understanding all the negative reviews below but all experiences are different. Came here on a Sunday around 5pm. Seated right away and brought our drinks within 10 minutes or so. Ordered our good and the food was fine. We both had burgers. It didn't take an insanely amount of time to get our food nor any refills. Refills came promptly. The only "con" was that we wanted onion rings and they were all out. Other than that a decent place to have a decent meal.

Dear red robins, Do you pay your employees with fries? Because they sure act like it comes out of their own pockets. The only thing quick about the experience is the bill. Had to ask for fries about three times and it never came. Maybe the waitress just thought I needed to eat less.

This is my favorite Red Robin location, and one of the oldest Red Robin's in Northern California. The store could use a bit of a face lift, but only in comparison to the other locations in the surrounding cities. Regardless, I've never had a bad experience at this location (knock on wood). My fiance and I dined in here a few weeks ago, and Danielle was our server in the bar area. She was quick, friendly, and extremely good at multi-tasking. We arrived shortly after the restaurant opened, and she immediately had 8+ tables come in and sit down right after we did. She was so efficient! And she didn't hurry us at all as we took our time ordering. Our drinks were always full, and she brought us fries within minutes of us asking for them. I have no complaints whatsoever. I suggest ordering the Banzai burger, or the new Southern Charm burger (candied bacon, wtf?!?!?!). And you can't go wrong with their happy hour margaritas.

UPDATE : I was phoned by the general manager and she apologized and informed me she is trying to get the location back on track . I am going to wait a month or so and give this location one more shot . I will post my results NOT THE SAME !!! Red robin used to be really good . We sat for almost 20 min before we saw any wait staff . Once we got a waiter he was ok but forgot 2 of the 4 waters we ordered . Then the BLTA we ordered had horrible tasting turkey on it and also the freckled fruit was old and gross . The kids pizza was absolutely disgusting my kid wouldn't touch it and I can't blame him . I had to feed him onion rings and my steak frys until we got home and we fed him again . The burger that I was so excited about wasn't very good especially for $4 extra angus beef the bacon was so thin it was transparent and there was no guacamole on my guacamole bacon burger .

This place is terrible. We got the queso which was microwave cheese with beans and no chili. Took us about 15 minutes to get our beer, then we finished our beer and decided to leave because it was taking to long and the burger was probably going to taste like crap anyways.

Just went to this restaurant and it was pretty bad. We were seated for about 10-15 minutes before waiter finally came to our table. We ordered food and drinks right away, one wrap and one grilled chicken burger w/ fruit. After ordering we waited another 30 minutes before waiter said food should be up shortly. 10 minutes after that he says he "forgot to put our order in", but would put it in again and have it moved to front of line. I tell him I don't want to start over unless it's free, he looks puzzled but his manager came over to say she'd buy our food. 10 minutes later our food came out. We had to pay $4.35 for our freckled lemonades which was fine I guess. Waiter was all over the place and looked pissed off about having to take the hit for our meal. We're not coming back to this location. Not worth it.

I like red robin. I think the food tastes good and there is a nice variety. That said, it's been a number of years since I've visited, and it looks like there have been some changes. The menu is larger and has new items. I liked that. I went for a late lunch, sat in the bar area (for some reason they didn't sit me in the dining room, even after I asked), and decided to go with the "clucks and shrimp"--or chicken strips and shrimp. I thought the taste was just fine. I was almost able to finish the whole thing, but it was a big plate. Unfortunately, my service was just so-so. My waitress was friendly, but she seemed to be the only one in the whole bar section, so I could tell it was hard for her to keep an eye on all of her customers. Also, I overheard her discussing scheduling conflicts with another waitress, and it sounded like they were disagreeing and complaining about a third waitress. That kind of stuff shouldn't be discussed around the soda fountain in front of customers (and I was across the room!).

Disappointed again...we have been here several times but the place, service and food are very inconsistent. Tonight the place seems crowded and loud, but there are still several empty tables. The server, Juan has taken a long time to take our drink order, had to be asked twice for refills and got the orders wrong and one was cold. It did seem like he was doing the best he could, he was very upbeat and had a great attitude, but that didn't make up for the problems. I asked about the kids meals having smaller portions but he said that they had been the same in the nine years he has been here. 2 chicken tenders seems a little light even in a kids meal. I think this time may have pushed me over the edge. Don't think I'll be back.

We were brought to our table which was dirty so we had to ask the man to clean it for us. The salt grinder was still wrapped in plastic which I thought was weird. Mint brownie milkshake was good and so was my cheeseburger. Pretty nice place to go.

I'd give you less stars, if I could! One word to describe this place..... Terrible! From the food, to the lack of cleanliness, to the service.....absolutely atrocious. Health department needs to give this place a visit....along with a fine and closure until they clean up their act. Stay away!!!

Probably one of the worst experience I've ever had at a red robins. Told us it was a 20min wait; which really ended up being about 45minutes wait. We told them we would be by the bar and to let us know once our table was done; after awhile we noticed no one was calling us; we asked the same person who we told we were gonna be at the bar and she just said "Oh, yea" ..so we get seated & it's about another 10-15min wait till our waitress come. our waitress finally comes to our table; no apology what so ever for the wait; we order a freckled lemonade which didn't really look nor taste like it & when we asked her she just said "oh yeah the strawberries were frozen but I meant to bring you another one". You should have said that in the first place when you dropped off the drinks in the beginning. No utensils nor napkins were brought to us; we had to ask for them. The thing that bothered me most was the Huge water spill on the floor near a table where a party just left. It was just there for about 10min; workers walking past by it. Which is a major slip hazard for anyone and everyone. Good thing I always look where I step because I had my 9month old with me while walking to the restroom. This place definitely needs to up their customer service asap!

I ordered the chicken salad to go and I have to say, I would have been better off going to McDonald's and ordering a chicken salad from there because that's what is tasted and looked like and I paid 6 dollars more. The bread it comes with is a tiny triangle, not what I expected for 10 bucks. As I was waiting for my food, I looked around and couldn't help but notice how dirty the place was. I should have walked out then. Also, the servers were unfriendly as well. I will not be going back to this location.

Bad customer service - both on the phone and in person. We didn't even eat there, we ordered the food to go. The fries tasted like they were old. The bartender (Leslie) rolled her eyes when we asked for ranch. I love red robin but this was the first time trying this location and it was not a good experience. If you work in a restaurant, the least you can do is be nice to nice customers.

This place as the best onion rings! The freckled lemonade is a must as well. I know a burger is what most people come for, but the fish and chips are what I desire. The portion is pretty large, so I sometimes opt for the crispy arctic cod sandwich, which is basically a few of the fish pieces on a bun with tartar sauce and coleslaw. It meets and exceeds that itch for fried yumminess. I also like the whiskey river, bleu ribbon, and the burnin love burger. It's always loud and crazy busy, so we tend to sit in the bar rather than wait for a table on the main floor. Go on...get that tower of rings!

I usually wouldn't even bother writing a review about this place, I wouldn't usually select this place but some friends wanted to eat hear, and I know their burgers are decent so let's give it a go. Now I know it's a corporate chain so I'm not expecting the best service, but wow this experience was an absolute blooper reel of restaurant service follies. It was actually hilarious how terribly incompetent this restaurant is on many levels. Walked in, hostess asks "how does that table in the corner look?" Sure why not, she hands us the the menus, "go ahead". No escorting to the table just a head nod in the direction of the table. After sitting for about 20 minutes with no server, finally the comedic star of the night shows up. Of course by then we know everything we want. Hilariously enough, as he was taking orders, he was scanning the room as others sat down, not even paying attentions as were telling him the order. Not even making eye contact just blatantly looking the other direction, it was hilarious. I ended up ordering a beer, took them about 20 minutes for that. Finally got our food, and we asked for ranch from two different ppl, finally got it after we finished the fries. Since it was bottomless fries, we asked for more to eat our ranch with. Another 20 minutes later he brings us a basket with like 10 fries in it, it was such a sad experience. "Want anything else"? How about another fry, Jesus it was terrible. The only great thing about it was shorting on the tip and not feeling guilty about it. Of course the burger was decent but I could really care less, hard to miss with a burger. This place is apathetic, sad excuse for a restaurant, I feel bad for ppl that work here, moral so low, just don't bother going here, bjs is right there, great khans, not the best foot here at the mall. Best food around here is el aguila right down cc blvd. but wow, such a sad place to eat, sad sad sad.

If I could give a negative star, I would! I called the restaurant on 4/15/15 & spoke with a "manager" named Mike the morning after our visit to discuss our horrible dining experience & to also let him know that my husband had food poisoning & I had taken him to the doctors office early this morning. I explained all to "manager Mike" for about 30 minutes & he said that he would be mailing out a gift card to us to make up for the horrible experience. He said it would go out in the mail the next day. It's been 2 weeks and NO Gift Card, No Follow Up Call from "manager Mike", no email from Red Robin, Not anything! What kind of restaurant are they running there? They don't care enough about their customers' experiences to friggin follow-up? In the business world, if you don't follow up with a customer or client, they will stop doing business with you! Well, there is too much drama to type in this review, but here were our "highlights": Went to RedRobin in the Concord Sun Valley Mall on 4/14/15 at 5:30pm-ish. Bar 1/4 full, Restaurant had 3 families dining - so it was slow when we got there. We stood by unattended "hostess desk" for about 5-7 minutes, trying to make contact with any RR employee...No one said "hi - we'll be right with you", or "welcome to RR" - nothing! Finally, a large woman from the bar area came over and said "2 adults & 2 children" and grabbed menus & sat us at a booth. She didn't even say hi - thanks for waiting, or anything... The seat at the booth was coming out from the back of the booth. It took about another 10 minutes for our waiter "Alberto" to come by our table and tell us he'd be back in a minute. Other tables that were seated after us already had their drinks & one table had their appetizers already! Those table had different waiters. Alberto came back & took our drink order & we also ordered a tall tower of onion rings as appetizer. He didn't write down our order...hmmm. He came back later with our onion rings and the kids drinks, which he got wrong (kids ordered chocolate shakes, but he brought out chocolate milk), but didn't bring any napkins, silverware, or plates (we had to flag down another waiter to ask for those). Alberto took our dinner order & again didn't write anything down. He said he'd bring out the kids shakes asap & he said "I'm sorry" about a hundred times. Alberto came back later with 2 baskets of sweet potato fries & 1 basket of reg fries. Not sure why - we didn't order them as an appetizer - we ordered 1 of each with our burger meals... Alberto said it takes forever to get fries out of the kitchen so he's bringing them out now. Our table looked like fry-palooza! Still no beers from the bar....ordered 1 corona light w/lime & one Sam Adams. Kids got their meals - kids pizza & kids chicken strips, but waiter forgot kids sides. Our burgers came out later - with more fries (why?!) . No knife with my burger, which was too big to pick up & eat. Noticed another table next to us had just got a burger too and got a knife and fork, wrapped in a napkin.... My burger was not cooked to medium-well. It was very pink inside & it had mayo on it (which I didn't order). The bun on my burger fell apart after 2 bites. My fries were cold. My husband ordered a patty melt. How hard is that to make & how can that get f'd up??! Well, Red Robin sure f'd it up! My hubby said the onions tasted "off", and something not quite right about it... My hubby ended up throwing up in the mall, on our way out to the car right after leaving Red Robin. He was sick all night & took him to Dr in morning - dr said he had food poisoning. Thanks Red Robin! Just happy my little kids didn't get sick! We finally got our 1 beer each when we were almost done with our burgers. Alberto said "I put a lime on your Corona, but it fell off. I can bring you another one, if you want me to" - WTF?! Yes - please bring me a slice of lime & yes, I'll wait another lifetime to get it! There is much more to this "horrible dining experience" to write about, but I believe it's fallen on deaf ears over at Red Robin & it's "Management" and it's corporate office (I sent them an email complaint too..got a confirmation number, but that's it..no response either) LESSON LEARNED HERE : DON'T GO TO THIS RED ROBIN UNLESS YOU WOULD LIKE FRUSTRATION SERVED WITH A SIDE OF FOOD POISONING & THEN PAY $72 (+ a tip) FOR THE PLEASURE OF IT! I want a refund "manager Mike"! Don't bother sending a gift card unless it comes with a written apology and the promise of a good meal without food poisoning. Please revisit your waiter training! Please make sure your women's restrooms have toilet paper too!! I had a kleenex in my purse for my 7 year old to use to wipe! Your staff at the Concord Location need to be either fired, or properly trained. You know how to reach me! Thanks! This place really suxs! I mean REALLY SUXS!

Never come here worst service ever. Went to tell lady at the front how we were not pleased with service and 5 minutes later waitress came running out attacking us. Never will I ever suggest any one come here if your coming from east bay suggest you go to Pleasanton. Best service ever over there and food was good. I actually remember coming to this red robin and there food sucked. Now I'm down 5 blocks @ in out were at least food is good and service is AWESOME. No Stars

They have great burgers. I had the royal with a fried egg on it with a lettuce wrap. Very good! They have a good kids menu with healthy sides like mandarin oranges. The service was quick. Bring a sweater!

I asked for a new fork since my fork was not washed properly, and so the waitress went to the back and handed me a new fork-- which had some brown crust and disgusting watermarks on it. She obviously didn't know what she was doing. It wasn't even busy, and the workers just didn't seem to care. I mean, the food was great, but it took forever. My advice is just watch out for the dirty utensils and the rude waitresses that don't even make eye contact or even apologize when they do something wrong. You're better off going downstairs to McDonalds and getting $5 20 pc nuggets.

Came here for my birthday burger and will not be back. Was told there was a 30 minute wait but we could eat in the bar. Had to seat ourselves even though others were being seated in the bar by staff. Table had no salt/pepper or mustard and ketchup was empty. Ordered my burger rare and on a wheat bun. Was so overcooked I sent it back. The second one was only a little better but was on a regular white bun. As my dining partner was almost finished by this time, I ate only half. Burger was also no where near the size they show in the menu. Will NOT be back.

Love that they have a gluten free hamburger bun. I feel as I'm a "normal" person, enjoying a delicious juicy hamburger and uncontaminated fries. We love eating here, my husband usually has one of the artery clogging hamburger specials, which he's never complained about. We'll be back.

Sometimes they get your food on time, sometimes you keep waiting, and when you finally flag someone down they realize they forgot to tell you they were out of what you wanted. It's HORRIBLE! I ordered the salted carmel milkshake once, and on luck it was done right. I've ordered it twice since, it's either too sweet or too salty :(

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. The fundamental problem with this place is management. The wait staff are serving too many tables to do their jobs. We had no silverware and I ate my dinner with a wooden stick that came with my wife's sandwich. Service was terrible. Wait time for food was terrible. The food was terrible. Never again.

Absolutely horrible. This place has never had decent service but it just gets worse. I don't know how it could be any worse at this point. Went there for the last time tonight. Took server ten minutes to take a drink order. Then ten minutes to bring sauce when we got food. When he brought the sauce he looked straight at my empty glass and then walked away. Didn't see him again after that. Someone else brought the check. Just don't even waste your time with this place.

Food was really good but the service as usual was slow. Manager probably didn't schedule staff correctly and they were drowning in tables. Aside from that the food was on point.

So its a Sunday night and I looked up what time they closed and it said 8pm we arrived at 7:27pm and I waited to be seated and no one seemed like they wanted to help us. Once someone came by she didn't even greet me she just asked if I have been help and when I said table for 2 she had to tell me just to let you know we close in 30mins. Did she say this to me to make me leave? So we ended up sitting at the bar and she took our order and she has no smile and we felt very rushed. I work in customer service and I would never make a customer feel this way. She was very unpleasant. Also their grill broke down so we were informed we couldn't order anything else.

(DO NOT COME HERE, WORST EXPERIENCE EVER) Our family enjoys going to Red Robbin specifically in Fairfield California at the Solano mall. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated promptly. Immediately sitting at our table, we smelled dirty mop water. Our waitress took our drink order, my husband and I ordered water, my children ordered freckled lemonade. In receiving our drinks they were out of kids size cups, and our water taste like mop. We flagged down our waitress and I asked her if she had ever drink of the water they serve. She said no, I told her that it it tastes like mop water and we will not drink it. We placed our order and it took forever to receive our fries and our silverware, and are napkins. By the time we received our appetizer they served us plates, now mind you we still haven't received our silverware nor napkins but we now have our appetizer. As my husband served us our plates 3 out of 5 were dirty. They came back with silverware only three because she said there wasn't any more clean forks. We received our food and there was a huge bang, every 3 minutes balloons were popping scaring all of the dinner guests. You would think the manager wouldn't refill the balloons because they were popping. No they added more!!!! So balloons were popping every few minutes continuing to scare the guests, my daughter received her food, there's a hair in it. We still have not received our forks so we notify the manager, he apologizes and brings back another meal for my daughter. My daughter digs in, start eating and notices something hard on her spoon, the spoon is dirty. The reason why my daughter found that it was dirty was because she was trying to get the hard piece of something that was on her spoon with her teeth. It looked like old food dried up on the spoon. So we called the manager again, told him that we have had the worst experience ever, mind you my husband found old piece of lettuce on his fries that came with his burger, so we tell him what has went on the whole night and he ask to replace my daughters food again. We said no way we want to leave. None of us finished our meal, so we asked the manager if we had to pay because we did not want to pay for our service. He said no he cannot do that so he decided to give us 50 percent off and a $10 discount card if we come again(which we will use in Fairfield) . We will never be coming back . No stars for this restaurant.

My co workers and I went to Red Robin Burgers yesterday for lunch before training. We were seated around the bar area of the restaurant. Our waitress was not friendly and she seemed like she was having a rough day already at 11am . She came 3 times to our table. 1. Take the order. 2. Drop off the food. 3.Drop off the check. Drinks were never refilled and we did not feel welcomed to the establishment at all. I will not be going back to this location or referring anyone to this location.

2 stars for the free fries they gave us for the long wait. Seriously, this place is busy..but what is with having 1 busser and 3...3 hostesses? 3 girls endlessly shifting menus to look like they are doing something. One went to answer the phone, another said "don't even worry about it" so ahead didn"t. Okaaay? So, don't bother to call here. So, apparently bussing tables is Not in their job description. What other restaurant does that? None..get it together management, make these girls leave the podium and help out, maybe ypu will turn these tables over in a reasonable amount of time!

I don't write reviews about chain restaurants or any establishments I have low expectations for because WHO CARES. The menu is familiar at chains, preventing any extra thought, while you only stop at slums when your cross country pit stop coincides with your urge to shove food in your face hole. Sadly I had to stop at this slum chain on a Tuesday night (first bad decision) and this horrible experience must be known to the yelp-universe. I'll try to be brief. Ordered appetizers which took too long. Ordered burgers which took longer. One good waitress who left (end of shift maybe?). Second guy seemed distracted, slow, and inexperienced. The waiter very politely apologized for the wait (on multiple occasions) which showed me he realized his own inadequacy. I really really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt - "Maybe the kitchen is holding him up?" I thought. However, when my Chili burger came out, the bun and burger were cold, but the chili was a bit warm. Someone at the table next to us got their appetizers in less than 5 minutes and I could tell she was a friend, former employee, or an employee on her day off by the way she flirted with all 5 other waiters. Yes there were 3 other waiters, a manager, and countless bus boys walking around and yet I had slow service and cold food. That put me over the edge. The worst part is that both my girlfriend and I are chugging Pepto this morning to settle our upset (and potentially food poisoned) stomachs. MAKE THE PAIN STOP HURTING PLEASE. Breakdown: Ambiance - 1/5 Price - 1/5 Staff - 0/5 Food - 0/5 Total - 1/5

I decided that I would give red robin a shot because my wife was craving a burger and I am always down for one. I figured a company with the slogan "yum" might be able to fill the void in our bellies. The food was pretty.good. I got the Red's Tavern Double which though it looks big in the picture is about the size of a McDouble. My wife got a regular hamburger we both got bottomless steak fries as our side. The unapologetic waitress brought out a chicken sandwich to my wife with my burger and we waited s good 15 minutes for them to fix the order. We basically watched each other eat. Good times..... Bottom line: good food and poor service.

Stood at the front for 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Finally a very un happy hostess comes out of somewhere and seats us. She looked so miserable. The food was good and the server seemed happy to be working.

We used to eat here a lot. Now, the plates are dirty (dried food next to your freshly cooked food). Silverware dirty. Wait person "annoyed" when you point it out! Food was good- We were seated by the kitchen- the floor by the "dishwasher" flooded- everyone including the manager walked in and our without a consideration for mopping it up. We won't be returning.

After tonight I will never go back to this Red Robins again. I had the WORST server ever tonight. She messed up on our burgers multiple times, never refilled our drinks when we asked, didn't even give us at least one refill on our bottomless fries when we asked over three times. She was rude and very unfriendly and never even checked up on us and the place wasn't even busy like it usually is. I recommend everyone going to the Brentwood Red Robins over the Concord one. Friendly servers and the service is much better!

Restaurant is showing its age. Bathrooms were clogged-up and dirty. Floors throughout the place were grimy. Waiter service was good, not great. Food was very average. A group of teenage girls whooped and hollered for over an hour, disturbing all who were seated nearby, and no one from the restaurant told them to quiet down. I would recommend that you go around the corner to Johnny Rocket's for burgers instead.

i use to love this place and really loved their burgers and fries. today my early dinner here was not good. after being seated n got our orders taken we waited an hour till our food got served. our food was not hot as if it has been sitting a while before waiter gave to us. i can see they were busy but there were also many waiters scrambled all over the places confused and not knowing what to do it seems. our utensils were very dirty. our plates were also dirty. the buns were so wet. the quality of burgers were so bad. nothing special or different from a fast food restaurant. the fries were cold and dried. i came here knowing that i will not return.

Ordered spinach wrap combo comes with a side of soup, was very tasty not too big not too small; sort of like a lunch deal but for dinner which is nice for those of us that don't like to eat huge heavy meals for dinner. Kids grilled chicken skewers were good too came with a side and drink. The tower of onion rings are also delish make sure you specify whether small or large or they will bring you the large, I ordered the small but the waitress brought the large she claimed she didn't hear me (no biggie ) she charged for the small in the end, thank you! :) staff are young and surprisingly have their shit together, their nice, fast and professional. My waitress was Ceci, very nice and a great waitress.

If I could give negative stars I would. They suck here. Worst experience ever. Not only do the staff not know how to take down an order, but they have managers accuse you of calling them names. First off she brought out the wrong fries. Not a big deal, it happens. She leaves to get the correct ones. Then my boyfriend realizes that his burger is missing the bacon. He tells her and she states the burger doesn't come with bacon. In the menu it clearly states the A1peppercorn burger comes with bacon. She leaves to see if this is true and comes back 10 minutes later. Not with a new burger, but with pieces of bacon on a plate. She states," this burger doesn't normally come with bacon, but we'll give you some bacon this one time." My boyfriend is annoyed at this point because I'm almost done with my food and he hasn't even gotten his correct meal. The waitress is arguing with him about the burger not coming with bacon. He just sends it back and asks for a manager. He comes out and things get explained. Then the manager asks, but it seems more like an accusation, if my boyfriend called her a fucking idiot. My boyfriend denies it but admits that he said "this is fucking retarded." The manager says we're only getting charged for the drinks and leaves to bring the bill. We pay and start leaving thinking things are hashed out, but the waitress (Cicely) starts talking shit to another coworker about how we called her a fucking idiot. She didn't even wait for us the leave the building. They have the worst service and are so rude! I'm not usually not to complain, but whatever happened to "the customer is always right?" Cicely, my boyfriend didn't call you an idiot, but I will. You're an idiot and I wish your future customers luck.

Do not eat here. I've eaten here twice Nov. 2013 and today Dec. 2014 (I thought 1st time was maybe a bad day) and on both occasions slow service and food quality was sorely lacking (cold fries... really?). Take heed from other poor reviews and skip this. Still want to gamble? Go for it but you've been forewarned. Oh my one star is for our server who was friendly and amiable, but we did have to request utensils AND they were out of knives because they were being washed. Sigh...

I would have given it a 5 star, but we had a LONG wait. Once we were seated and I received my Blue Moon Beer Shake....it got better from there. The Beershake has a Belgian white beer, Orange Liquor, orange juice, and vanilla ice cream. It tasted like and Orange Cream-cicle with a kick. The Whiskey BBQ burger was happening too.

Lately this one has been slipping. The past few times the food has not tasted fresh, like it was sitting out for awhile before we got it. I think it's time to find another place to go.

Let's be straight the service here is great - they always have the most friendly waitresses. I think this is a pretty good place to go to lunch, if you have a big group and want some good The food is okay though - the whiskey river barbeque chicken wrap tends to hit the spot sometimes, but otherwise I'm not a red robin fan. It's super fattening, and fried. Don't look at the caloric count unless you want to feel guilty afterwards.

Typically good food, but fries lately are too over done. Seems under staffed everything we've gone like the past 6 mos. Hostess literally handed us our menus when we walked in and we seated ourselves. Like okay, haha. Hopefully waiters keep all their tips.

The review is for the Concord Red Robin, and shouldn't be used to judge other Red Robin stores. My husband and I usually love Red Robin. We're in the Bay for an internship, and decided to stop by for lunch this Saturday afternoon. The place was almost deserted and incredibly quiet, except for the overly rambunctious staff. Which is weird, because Red Robin (by my experience) is almost always PACKED and lively. The hostess led us to a booth table in the bar section, which was basically deserted. For some reason she led us to the only dirty table in the entire section. She surveyed the table, and scooped some (not all) of the crumbs onto the floor. She then gestured to the booth and started to walk off. I called after her and asked if we could get the table wiped down before we sat. I received a heavy sigh and an eye roll before she wordlessly went off to get a bleach cloth. I found the lack of concern regarding cleanliness... concerning. We probably should have just left then, but we were hungry and not new to sulky teen aged hostesses. I slipped off to the bathroom and on my way out encountered a loud conversation being held between a manager and a member of the kitchen staff. The women's bathroom is right next to the door to the kitchen. This manager held the door open and yelled into the kitchen chastising an employee very loudly. It made me uncomfortable to witness an exchange that probably should have stayed in the kitchen. My food (freckled lemonade, french dip & fries) ended up being fine. The fries weren't /piping/ hot, but I was hungry enough not to care. My husband's salad was another matter. His lettuce was browning and limp. We never got a chance to complain, because our inattentive waitress was too busy also making drinks and interacting loudly with other staff members behind the bar (also distracting.) We ended up just leaving without saying anything. Disappointing service, and the food was less good than the quality that we've come to expect from this chain.

What I Ate - Bleu Ribbon burger (bleu cheese, steak sauce, onion straws, lettuce, and chipotle aioli on an onion bun) - sweet potato fries with bacon aioli dipping sauce Would I Go Again? The Bleu Ribbon burger is probably the most unique burger I've ever eaten, and it was one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The burger offered many different and strong flavors in every bite, but they all came together to make each bite more than enjoyable. The bleu cheese was strong but not overpowering, the steak sauce was perfectly complementary, the onion straws were deep fried and delicious, and the aioli gave the burger an added "kick"--even the onion bun was a standout. To be honest, I've never really had much success at Red Robin before, but now I can happily go and know I will eat one outstanding burger. The sweet potato fries are pretty good, and I like them the best with the bacon aioli dipping sauce. I joined the rewards member club, so I am already looking forward to my next free birthday burger!

When my husband and I feel lazy and dont want to be to adventurous on our weekend outings, we come here. Their cocktails are mostly very fruity which isnt my thing. The latest drink we had was called "Sand In Your Shorts," something like that anyway. I prefered calling it "Sand In Your Clam." Get it? We always sit in the bar. We have never sat in the regular resturaunt area. The service has always been good when sitting there. Once they had a little questionaire thing that came with the check and I took it and filled it out and mailed it in and I got a $5 off coupon in the mail. Of course I used it. Thats a free drink as far as Im concerened. The burgers are good. My husband loves them. They are too big for me though. This last time around we had the tower of Onion Rings. They were good. Overall, an average chain resturaunt.

I wish I didn't even have to give 1 star. being a Saturday night, my boyfriend and I knew anywhere we were looking to go was gonna be jam packed. we tried the Cheesecake Factory in walnut creek, and just as expected, a 40 min wait. decided to go to red robin because it was still close, easy, and should be less packed worst decision ever. service was SLOW, waiter brought us two baskets of fries before our burgers, forgot our drinks... etc. would take too much energy to even type how horrible this experience was. avoid at all costs.

I was here a couple of nights ago with a friend. The place was busy and our side of the restaurant had one waitress working numerous tables. We waited 45 minutes for two burgers. Yes, you read that correctly. When we asked our waitress about how long the food was going to take, all she said was "I don't know, the food is in the kitchen." No, really? I understand that she was under stress due to handling so many tables on her own, which is why I didn't complain, but her nasty attitude did not help much. She never checked in on us, either. Don't take it out on your customers. I won't be returning any time soon, if ever.

Went there last night with a friend, I hadn't been to a Red Robin in a while, why? I'm CHEAP!!! Well, I had a gift card, so I have to go? Right? Right!! I had the burger with mushrooms and cheese, which was very tastey. Kim was our server, she was excellent. I also thought there was going to be a problem with the appetizer that I had ordered, but it eventually came, and all was good. Yes, they were very busy last night. I forgot how good the burgers are here, when I have a burger, I want to go to a place that does it right, they got it right.

I'm giving a generous 2 star review for the bottomless (and very tasty!) wedge fries. And for that alone. I went with a friend (I did not order) who got the veggie burger. The host assured us when we entered that there was a veggie option, so we decided to come in. We had to REALLY scour the menu to find it. I had a bite when it arrived, tasted awful. I mean, it could not have been worse. It was the color and consistency of the rubber bottoms on my Converse sneakers. The service left something to be desired. The host gestured expansively to a large area in which we could seat ourselves (huh?) and the follow up service from the waitress on those 'bottomless' fries left much to be desired. I mean, you KNOW 7 or 8 fries means you IMMEDIATELY go fry up more and bring the next 7 to 8 fries to my table ASAP, right? I shouldn't have to beg pathetically. I WILL return here, just to order the fries and eat about 20 trays of them. Just to get my money's worth and make them work. ps there was a full bar. Yay for equal opportunity hiring and NOT giving the job to some beautiful, yet worthless and totally insincere bimbo. There was a WOMAN working, and she probably worked harder than anybody in the restaurant, although I can't be sure, as I didn't have a drink.

The Prodigal Son has returned (from Portland). So last night we went to this Red Robin and killed the "fattened calf" for a celebratory meal. After we were done, my son was pleased, while Gayle and I will be even more so if we don't need to come back anytime soon. I actually like the Red Robin chain, as previous family meals at the Reno and PDX locations were pleasant and tasty. This Sun Valley location seems to be a little more noisy and congested. In fact, both Gayle and I commented separately that it took each of us several minutes to adjust to all the distraction (and the wobbly table and chairs in the Bar area). I agree with Emily's comment that in terms of nutritional information, sometimes you just don't want to know. At the same time, Gayle pointed out that if you were paying attention to the listed calorie count, there wasn't really anything healthy to choose from, except the most basic of salads. And if you going out to dinner for that, what's the point? Gayle and my son both "nibbled" on my Chophouse Burger, which supplemented her Cobb Salad and his Whiskey River BBQ Burger. I made up for the lost calories with their always good steakhouse fries and a large beer. Both Gayle and I thought that our main dishes were just OK, while my son was perfectly happy with his repeat choice. So in the end, we were good parents and ended up with a full and happy kid. This also means that we can now move on to other things that he likes including Sushi, Thai, Italian, and Indian. He's got a great palate and it's kind of wasted if we stick to burger joynts.

When you are walking around the mall and want to get something good to eat, Red Robin's should cross your mind. There aren't a whole lot of places to sit down and get real service, so this place is pretty nice in that respect. Hands down - get the freckled lemonade. Bottomless and delicious. Can't top that. The seasoning they keep on the tables is GREAT on fries. My favorite thing to eat there was the California Chicken Sandwich. They used to serve it with avocado instead of guac, which I prefer. Still my fav I guess, but the Whiskey River Chicken is moving on up there.

After a days shopping on Black Friday, my daughter asked me if we can eat at Red Robin? I said hmm oh okay, not really a first choice on my list but I knew it couldn't be all bad since they have "bottomless steak fries" which is my favorite. By the time we walked over, the line was all the way by the entrance of Macy's. bummer... we decided to wait, since the hostess had mentioned it would take 20mins, thank god it only took 10! yes... Looking at the Menu, I couldn't decide should I have a burger or something else. I've tried their fish & chips, terriyaki burger, chicken wrap, cobb salad, french onion soup and mushroom burger but wanted to order something different. We had an awesome server who attended to our needs even then he went on break, they had a back up server who gave us the same treatment =) So I finally decided why don't I try their Whiskey BBQ burger. The burger consisted of their signature Whiskey River BBQ Sauce lassoed together with Cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, lettuce, fresh tomatoes & mayo. My thoughts about the burger? tasted kind of plain, I hardly had any bbq sauce, so I kept dipping my burger in the ranch dressing I asked for. Don't get me wrong the burger is huge, but I wasn't wowed out. The fries were comforting though, I loved dipping my fries in peppercorn honey mustard sauce. ooohhhh yummmmmm My lil one ordered a burger off the kids menu, and can't say much about it lol she was pleased, shes' a restaurant connoisseur in training.

I called this place to order a burger to go the person who answered the phone transferred me to the bartender to take order. He never showed up and neither did I .

First time here but still expect decent burgers. Unfortunately, food was not served for over 45 minutes after order and the fried onion rings and French fries were both room temperature. Cannot understand how a burger joint could have fried food cold.. Definitely not acceptable.

I really use to like this place. I took my sister & niece there...but the Hostess & waitress both kept saying "Can I help you Guys?". I almost responded, "Do I look like a Guy? Ladies should NOT be called Guys! Still a good burger & drinks. If the manager reads this, he/she should definately train the personnel. I probably won't be going back, they don't put the calorie counts on the menus anymore either. I really liked that on the menus.

WORST. SERVICE. EVER. Came here since we were in the mall and hungry. It was a Saturday afternoon, the wait was only 10 minutes... not bad... but the service just straight up SUCKED. Bottomless fries is a joke. My burger came with like 10 fries total on the plate, and when I asked for another serving of fries they never came to me, I think I asked 5 times. Our server finally came out 30 minutes later with 2 baskets less than 1/4th full of fries like he was doing me a favor by bringing me two baskets. My wife ordered salad and soup, and the waiter did not give us ANY utensils or napkins or anything. Total fail.

Red Robin: My guilty pleasure when I just want a burger. Plain and simple. So here is the deal: I'm reviewing this location based on 6 visits. This location is usually packed on the weekends, but the cool part about this location is that they can text you when your table is ready. A big plus if you want to do some shopping at the mall as opposed to sitting in the cramped waiting area with screaming children (no joke, all 6 times they were present) and overall awkwardness. Now when we would sit down, the staff was 3 for 6 in terms of getting us our drinks within a reasonable amount of time. The other three times, it took almost 20 minutes from when we first were seated. You could tell they were short staffed. The food quality, all 6 times, was amazing. I have never had a bad meal here. My food was always warm, cooked correctly and overall, just plain delicious. In terms of staff attentiveness, they are a 2 for 6. If you run out of your drink, or you need some more ranch for your fries...good luck. Make sure you "stock up" when your waiter is at your table. The one thing that really irritates me at this location is that the server that brings out your food (AKA the expo server) NEVER brings out anything that you request. They are great about asking if you need anything else, but never follow through. Every time I would ask for ranch, or another ketchup bottle, they never brought the item I requested. Literally, I would watch them leave our table and go back to talking with the kitchen crew, completely forgetting about my request. They need to work on this. Overall, the food is great... but the service could be better, especially when it comes to following through on customer's requests.

Service was mediocre at best. From where I sat I counted 8 (yes 8) dirty tables that never were cleared during my visit. Unacceptable. We were also seated at a dirty tables that we had to ask to be cleaned. We waited and waited for silverware and napkins...after our food was served. The ONLY reason I came to RR was my son. Never again

The only reason I didn't give this place 1 star is because I like Red Robins food chain overall. However is quality of service here was terrible. We did have a party of 20 so I expected there to be errors however not like this. We waiting for 1.5 hours to be seated due to pore planning on their part. About half of our drinks never came or were wrong. My 3 year old dropped her drink on the floor and the waiter picked it up and gave it back to her! Talk about a serious health code violation, I was infuriated. We had to separate checks and from the get go I knew the 2 waiters were going to mess it up. Instead of one taking one check and the other taking the other one, they split the table in half and took their orders that way. We had to send our checks back twice for corrections. The food was good, I only hope the chef doesn't follow the 5 second rule like the waiters.... Needless to say I won't return to this particular Red Robin.

the service sucks here but the everything was good i enjoyed it Fruity Boozie Peach Daiquiri and my steak sandwich which was delicious yummy hahaha so my friends told the waitress it was my birthday just cause i looked like the birthday girl sitting in the middle of the end of the table and they sang to me and brought out a free birthday sundae for me haha it was the highlight of my night she even saw my id when i ordered my drink smh

This place has gone downhill. This is second time in the last two months I've come here and there is just awful service. Back in April I came here with my mom and we ended up walking out because no I ne would awknowledge us! Today the hostess was rude and I was told I could not bring my stroller into the dining area. My daughter was asleep in her stroller. They made me take her out and leave it by the entrance. After we were seated I saw the hostess bring another lady to her table and she was able to keep her stroller! Not too mention it took a waitress forever to come and take our order. She also argued with me as to whether or not I was able to order just a side of fries!!!!! I also notice that they had someone's walker by the entrance... I'm not sure what they are trying to do but the entrance is very narrow and I had people pushing me as I was trying to get my kids back in the stroller that I was forced to leave by the entrance! Just wondering are you going to accountable if it gets stolen? Also the place is filthy and the bathroom is awful! I don't think we will be coming back anytime soon!

Great, great experience @ RR today. We sat @ the bar, the place was packed. We made a great choice; Leslie, our bartender, was outstanding! We ordered burgers & a small wedge salad. Everything was delicious! Will be going back for sure!

Originally went to Red Robin. 15 people in line. 20 min wait. 50% of the tables hadn't been bussed yet. The 3 girls at the hostess station didn't even care we walked in. I asked if we bussed our own table would we be sat faster. She replied "Yea I know right?" Won't EVER catch me eating there. Went to BJs instead and bought $60 of food and tipped $20 for the excellent service.

I have been to many different Red Robin restaurants and enjoyed them all. Sometimes the service is great and sometimes awful. The food is consistent. I hate fast food burgers so I prefer to go here instead. The only thing besides the service that irritates me is that we always have to wait. I mean always. Even when the restaurant is half empty. This is something I wish they would work on changing.

Ordered a peppercorn burger and asked for NO ONIONS twice! Guess what... And we were in a rush to see a film and could not get the check. Told the server we were looking for fast service when we first sat down.Got the burger re-cooked and took it to go. Missed 15 minutes of the film and found no napkins or ketchup in the to-go bag later. We have been there before and usually enjoy the place. Server was actually friendly but overall not a pleasant experience this time around.

I am a huge supporter of the California menu labeling bill (SB 1420) that requires large restaurant chains to provide nutritional information. I have utilized the nutritional guides provided at restaurants in order to make better decisions. But sometimes I just don't want to know. Sometimes I just want to eat a meal with reckless abandon. Fat and calories be damned. * When Jac C picked up the nutritional guide, I looked across the table and said "I don't want to know." I wanted a burger. I wanted blue cheese. I ordered the Bleu Ribbon Burger. The burger was tasty although I think the steak sauce and chipotle mayo overwhelms the blue cheese. Next time I would order sans sauce, or with the sauce on the side. Or I would order a cheese burger with blue cheese. I'm not a fan of their steak fries. I prefer skinny ones. Next time I will ask for a side salad. * In case you were wondering, their nachos, if you eat all three servings by yourself, will fill you with the most fat and calories. Enjoy!

Really like this place. I come here at least once or twice a month. I LOVE burgers, and this is a great sit down restaurant that serves delicious burgers. Plus Unlimited Fries, Yummm. Drinks: Get the Rootbeer Float, no wrong here, it taste's amazing, and it's free refills. Only reason 4/5 is because service sometimes stinks

My first visit to Red Robin was a pleasant experience. This was the first time I had set foot in one. I've never been much of a meat eater, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I ordered the Burnin' Love Burger, which comes with pepperjack cheese, salsa, fried jalepenos, lettuce, tomato, and Chipotle mayo. They skimped a bit on the fries. Not a big deal because they're bottomless, so I could have ordered another round, but I was too shy to ask. My dining companion ordered the grilled salmon sandwich. I had a bite, and it was pretty tasty. Probably one of the better restaurants in Sun Valley Mall. It looks to be a bit pricey for standard diner fare (about $8-9 for a sandwich and fries), but everything was tasty and the service was pretty decent. Our waiter was a bit on the quiet side, but he was very polite. I'd definitely go for a second visit.

I like Red Robin and I've lucked out that every time I have been here I've gotten good food and consistent service. We usually try to get a seat in the bar area to cut down on the screaming children and strollers. Usually the wait staff is fast and efficient. My usual standby is the Royal Red Robin which is a cheeseburger with a fried egg on top of the patty. MMMM. The problem is the sandwich is huge and I can never finish it and unfortunately it doesn't reheat well. The steak fries and the seasoning are addictive. Its so hard not to eat all the fries before you even get to your burger. The last time I got the California Chicken Sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, cheese and guacamole. It's listed as a grilled chicken sandwich, but because I can be a little piggy, I got it with a crispy chicken patty. This was sooo good but so dense and filling. But the stomach ache was worth it. Overall RR is a good place to get a casual burger.

I cant say I've had superb customer service experience like this in a while. I decided to go to the bar to enjoy a alcoholic beverage and quick meal. The bartender was very helpful and recommended great items on the menu. After a brief 10 minutes of waiting on our food, I notice that the burger arrived with the condiments on it I originally asked to be removed. The bar tender immediately takes the responsibility and another burger was brought out quite quickly. Both of the servers were extremely nice. The manager even took the price of the burger completely off the menu. This is what I call the epitome of Great Customer Service. Many other business can learn a lot from this place.

Hmmm.. This RR location is a little less "good" than another I've been to, however they semi make up for it in the especially really really good endless garlic fries!!! (The mushroom swiss veggie burger I normal got at a previous loc was considerably less tasty at this one (I dunno why!)). Interior was sort of cooler than expected while also dirtier & less maintained than expected. Bathrooms were kinda rank. (Maybe these things are because it's attached to a mall?). Service was fine, though. Other pluses: Open late (11pm) & decent variety in menu including fish sandwiches. Other negatives: Kinda pricey & a little chaotic when busy. I dunno, I wasn't as impressed by this location though I definitely enjoyed the food/experience overall! I mean...... How you can not love Red Robin??

I don't know what to say about this place. Yes, its convenient if you are shopping at the mall. Its also very kid friendly as well. However, after getting take out from this place, I noticed in the 10 minutes that I was in there that its very dirty. The wait staff seemed OK when retrieving my order but I still had to wait a while for an order that was called ahead. Food wise, it was good, but to justify 10 dollars for a Burger and fries is a bit much for me. We also had the quesadilla which was good as well.

Mother's Day around 5:30 -6:00 pm and only a 10-15 minute wait for a table for three. Not bad, the greeters and staff all seemed really friendly, being as busy as they were. Our waitress was super nice, took our order then only brought us 2 of the three drinks, rootbeer float comes from the bar and she went to "go get it", 20 plus minutes later, she brough the float, half full and ice cream melted, asked for another and refills on the two other drinks. Brought out the appetizers and refills and everything was going good. Waitress never seemed friendly after the order was placed until she dropped off the check. Busy or not, no reason to not bring out drink full, and within a timely manner. While placing the order, we mentioned to bring out more fries with our dinner as we like them and they are bottomless, she said no problem, never brought out. Asked for a refill and took over 45 minutes. Food is good, service not so much, bottomless fries if you can get someone to bring them to the table.

RED ROBIN! HUUUMMMMMM... this location is probably the best red robin in the bay area...super busy on a monday afternoon...kids running around everywhere, and you can barely hear yourself talking. i ordered the bacon cheeseburger with blue cheese sub jalapeno cornmeal bun(i can't eat sesame seeds)...and wifey had the patty melt. the fries were super fresh, piping hot, and perfectly cooked...i was ready to order another basket...cause well, the burgers come with bottomless fries! woohoo! i made the mistake of ordering the cornmeal bun cause it made my burger pretty dry...next time, i'll sub for the onion. overall, our meal was pretty good...not the best burgers in town...but one of the better locations considering this is a chain restaurant. oh, and don't forget the freckled lemonade. it's DELISH!!!

Used to be a great Red Robin but the food and service has gone down considerably in the last few years. You get better service and better food going on the other side of the freeway to Claim Jumper or Fuddruckers.

Yesterday I decided to stop by Red Robin after shopping around 3:30pm. I walked up to the front counter to wait to be seated and stood there for 5 minutes. I noticed there were about 8-10 people working there including the bartender and only about 10 customers I guess because it was between lunch and dinner. After standing there for 5 full minutes as numerous employees walked by me making no eye contact and completely ignoring me I asked two employees talking to each other who were right in front of me if I just seat myself. One of them pointed to a table. They didn't need to even hand me a menu as I had one since I had been waiting so long. I then sat there for another 5-6 minutes waiting for anyone to come by and say they will be right with me, take my drink order or at least bring a table setting. At least 5 employees walked right past me and not one word or acknowledgement. I landed up walking out of that place and figured if they were too lazy to acknowledge me I certainly didn't want them preparing or touching my food. This place clearly doesn't understand basic business....in order to turn a profit you have to have repeat, satisfied customers who are happy with your product and your service! I will never set foot in another Red Robin again. There are too many other dining options to be treated this way!

Bad management, stuck up servers that act like they are giving you a gift by waiting on you (males), and food takes forever. We were the second there today and our food came out cold. Never checked in and took 4 times asking for a box to actually get one. But the food is really, really, good!

I was a bit hesitant on how many stars to give but I went with 4... here's why. my lady, my son and I went to Red Robin last night. The waitress was HORRIBLY slow. She took our drink order fairly quick but then was VERY slow at bringing them out, even slower at taking our dinner order. I ordered clucks and riblets, they ordered burgers, not too hard right? fast forward 50 minutes and our food comes out. my lady's and mine were cold, my sons was luke warm. My son had to wait a long time for his first drink and our re-fills were slow coming. Not once did she stop by and apologize for the long wait time, nor did she come after the food was delivered to see how it was. I grabbed another waitress and asked for the manager. The manager walked over (His name is D I believe).. he was very apologetic and understanding. He asked us if we still wanted our food, would we want new food, or no.. I told him I didn't want to wait another hour for food, he said he'd go back and cook it himself.. He didn't do that but he did go above and beyond to make sure we all had new food in a timely manner, he packed it in togo boxes because I told him we didnt have time to sit and eat (by this time it was nearing 9pm). He repeatedly apologized and the best part of all was we had no bill! I was expecting to pay at least for the drinks, but he comp'd everything. He made a unpleasant situation better and so Kudos to him! Thanks again D!

If you like comfort food then this place is great. If you are watching your weight this place is not great. Love this place for lunch. Bottomless fries!! Woo! Great onion ring tower. Banzai Burger!!! Royal Red Robin Burger!!! It's all good. You can't go wrong here. You just can't. Service when we went was excellent, it was just after the lunch rush but that didn't stop us from receiving very good service. When the sun was shining in our faces, the waitress shut the blinds to stop us being blinded. Yay Red Robin!

If you really want a bite to eat and don't want to spend too much money, may I suggest this place? Honestly, this is one of my favorite places to spend with family. The atmosphere is not too bad, the waiters always seem friendly (a huge plus in my book) and most of all, the food is worth waiting for. The only thing I can say is that at times the wait is a bit too long, but I think it's due to location than anything else. Once I do find a seat, their sandwiches and bottomless fries are enough to fulfill any appetite.

I've been coming here since I was a child... and I'm sure I'll keep coming here in the future whenever I have random cravings. [=THE 411=] They're as consistent as McDonald's, with better quality and unlimited fries. C'mon! How can you beat that? This location has been around forever, and still retains the same ambiance as they always have. There's also a full bar which I've never tried, but they do have some good imported beers on tap. The bar area also has several TVs, so it's a good place to eat, drink, and watch some sports with some friends if you happen to be close by. [=THE SERVICE=] Ok, their service isn't great. They take a while sometimes -- especially if you're sitting at the bar area (which is where you'd have to sit for the Happy Hour). Last time I wait, our waitress didn't really know any details about the Happy Hour -- specifically about the prices of the domestic and imported draft beers. Why else would we sit there?! She was also a little rude when one of my friends asked for "Medium" instead of "Medium-Rare," stating they only had two types -- pink and not pink. But on the plus side, they've ALWAYS refilled my Freckled Lemonade as fast as I wanted. [=THE FOOD=] Their burgers are always good. I've tried most of them, and don't really have a favorite. Their Banzai Burger has been in place since forever though, so get that! Also, their burgers come with bottomless fries (as previously stated). If I want something else, I'll get the Southwestern Chicken Pasta -- which is REALLY quite good, but with no fries... haha! Also, their seasoning is pretty good on the fries. Just sayin'. [=TIP: DRINKS=] Freckled Lemonade. Always. Bottomless refills that are pretty quick with real strawberries every time. No other place has it! I've ordered a shake before -- and it was good, but not worth it when I weighed my other option. [=DESSERT=] I haven't had one recently, but I remember always getting mud pie whenever I came when I was a kid. I could never finish it -- and I'm pretty sure I STILL couldn't, even know. Funny story: my two friends went out with two other female friends to a Red Robin before. They decided to have a fry-eating competition. It lasted two hours, with the waiter supporting every part and bringing baskets out as soon as they finished. I think it ended in a draw after the guys started hallucinating.

Well my first time at red Robin I have mixed emotions about my experience there the food was delicious ... yet I left unsatisfied because of the service... It took 10 minutes after we were sat down for someone to ask us about beverages then it took 10 more minutes for me to get my water... my brother didn't get his drinks until after our food was brought out 40 minutes after we got there.... very disappointed since it wasn't busy on a Sunday midday

This is a very nice american restuarant Sun Valley Mall. the bleu cheese burger is the best burger out there. do not get intimidated by the blue cheese, because it's delicious and in my opinion, the best burger ever. also, red robins have PERFECT sized portions. if you finish a burger and fries + a drink, you are filled up but not completely filled up that your stomach gets bloaty or hurts.

Love me some Dirty Bird! Although it's a chain, I will admit that it is one of my favorites. The location is good for the business, but not so good for someone who HATES the Sunvalley mall...but it's been there ever since I can remember, so there's no changing that. The burgers...Oh my goodness the burgers! They are beyond delicious. I like them because they are consistently mouthwatering...you just know that when you come here, you are going to get a good burger. Love the steak fries too, and the fact that they are bottomless. Can we say heart attack?! I'm all in! And to top it off this is the only place that I know of in the area that serves HUGE beers in a freezing cold, frosty mug. I mean, the ice is literally floating in your glass. YUM. The beer selection isn't fantastic, but sometimes a Coors Light and a burger is the perfect remedy. The service has been pretty good...I've been here a ton of times and I can't think of one negative experience. It is very kid friendly, too. The kid's mac-n-cheese was devoured by our two year old! Can't wait to return!

It's unfortunate that i have to give Red Robin such a low rating but it's only because our last visit here was absolutely terrible. Our waiter seemed to have waay too many tables (he had tables in the bar area where we were and in the main dining area), the table next to us got their food BEFORE us even though we sat down and ordered way before they did, it took FOR-EVER to get refills, ranch, and hot sauce, and we were barely checked on. The food is always good but the service can just really suck from time to time.

We ate here the other day, and it was okay, not the greatest. My wife ordered the riblets, which were advertised as "tender" but were anything but tender. They advertise bottomless steak fries, which is good because only a very small portion came with my cheesburger, and when the refill arrived it tasted burnt. For the prices they charge, the food should be much better.

It seems like I always end up eating here when I go shopping at the Sun Valley Mall. This place has good service and friendly waiters. Last time I made the mistake of going during the lunch rush, but we didn't have to wait long before our name was called and we got a table. We sat in the section that was covered by only one waitress so there was a bit of a wait to take our orders and for our food but she did give us great service. Overall, not bad at all. The food is always yummy and for those that order a soda or lemonade like how I did, you can always ask to get it in a to-go cup.

We went on a Saturday night, I'm assuming that this particular location hasn't mastered how to be efficient but still offer quality service & food. I ordered a bonzai burger specifically VERY well done because I am pregnant. Instead, three bites in I notice not only is the burger not well done, it was completely pink(not done at all)! We received utensils 5 minutes after the food had already arrived, they forgot to bring out our side dishes. Food tasted like the service sloppy & rushed. This place was a mess, although they did comp the raw burger I will not go there again!

I used to love coming here due to the yummy bottomless fries and bottomless drinks. But since like a burger is at least 500 Cal's each, i had to stop indulging in the yummy-ness. Like what i stated above, everything here is at least 500Cal's. Including the salads. Which are more than the burgers!! one salad was 1500 cals... So I'm not judging by the health content of this place, If i wanted to be healthy i would stay away from here. Pros: 1.Food is always consistent, I'm never dissatisfied with what i received 2. servers / waiters are friendly Cons: 1. This place can a little bit unsanitary. I sat down for lunch one time and our table was still dirty from the previous customers. 2.Seats are extremely close to one another, i was unfortunate enough to sit next to the most rude customers ever! They were using derogatory language (around their children), yelling, and complaining. 3. I never received my fries.. They are bottomless and i never received my second batch. HOW DARE YOU!...

Normally if I am near the mall and in the mood for food and alcohol, I go to BJ's - but since we had a large party, we went to Red Robin to avoid the wait. We started at the bar because my roommate and I accidently got there early (Now when I say accidently, I mean on purpose - it's our M.O. to sneak in a drink before people get there) We bellied up to the bar. I ordered a Captain and Diet. The bartender so magically replies, "Would you like to make that a double for just $2 more?" "Well how much does a shot cost?" "$5" "Can you make it a double twice" Strong and cheap drinks is good in my book. Their food is pretty decent, they have a really big selection, but I usually just stick to the whiskey river BBQ chicken sando. I like that you can order fries before your meal because they are bottomless, but it would be nice if they tossed more than 6 fries in your "before meal" gluteny basket. I am a grown ass woman with a triple Captain and Diet and I need some fries while I wait for my food! I like sitting in the bar because they have the game on, but I don't always like that there are kids there.....They distract me.

I have a relative that likes to go to Red Robins, that's why I go. Even though Red Robin is famous for its "Gourmet" burgers (they do have a lot of varieties), my relative goes to get "Clucks and Fries". That would be chicken strips with french fries. At $9.49, it is no bargain. My favorite is the salmon burger ($9.79). Fruit Monster Shake, $3.99 Apple Crisp $5.99 So two people go for a burger of sorts and dessert and pay $35 with tax, before tip! I am not sure if that is a thing I want to do regularly for mediocre food.. Red Robin is like a TGIF or Johnny Rockets, or so many other chains of bland, dressed up, fast food. You go there more out of convenience and a lack of choices, not because you really love going there. I go because its a family thing. It's hard to choose your family.

I've been going to this Red Robin for about 5 years. The food is greasy, yet comforting and the service is good, never stellar nor bad. The one that that surprises me about this place is the consistency. The menu rarely changes and a few of their staples are my favs. I rotate between the banzai burger (with pineapple), pot roast burger, teriyaki chicken burger, gardenburger, or the BBQ chicken wrap. They taste the same every time I've ordered them. That's great when you know exactly what you want and how it's supposed to taste. The service is good. The servers are approachable and they usually get the orders right. Sometimes the service is a bit slow but, if you're with friends having a good time, you won't notice it. If you're on your lunch hour and have a conference call after lunch, that's a problem. I placed a large take out order and they had it ready by the time they promised. The server was even nice enough to help me carry the order to the car. Overall, this place is good and worth a shot.

You can count on Red Robin for a solid, consistent, casual dining experience. Nothing fancy, simple and to the point, and quite frankly that is just what you need sometimes after a long day of shopping. They get an extra star for the bottomless drinks and fries. Not just the fountain sodas are bottomless, but their nonalcoholic specialty drinks are unlimited as well. My favorite is the Speckled Lemonade; flavorful, without being too sweet, and refreshing on a warm day. Who can resist unlimited fries? All the burger orders come with bottomless french fries, and turkey patties can be substituted on any of their burgers. Gobble...Gobble!

Super disappointed! This is usually our go to place while shopping. But after today, not sure we are gonna come back. Our appetizer came out one minute before our meal. So the server (who was not our server) took it back while we finished our apps. When we were done with those, we waited and waited for our meal to come back out. I don't think we should have to ask for our meal. All while we have our empty plates and glasses still sitting on the table. It's a small table. So we are crowded. Finally our meal comes back out. From another server. I'm noticing our server standing by the bar the whole time talking to other servers. When our meal got to the table, our empty plates and glasses were still left. Table is even more crowded now. So annoyed! SERIOUSLY!?!?! I am not coming back. EVER! By the way, I'm wrote this review while waiting for my check.

Came here yesterday with my sister and daughter for a shopping break lunch. Ordered the Chicken Caesar Wrap and a Guinness. My daughter had the pizza and fries. My sister a burger (I believe). Although the food was pretty decent, the restaurant was busy which equaled lack thereof service. Sure we got the food in a decent time, but our beer was served after the fact and I had to ask to get our bill which took even more time. I was disappointed with the service.

Horrible Service! Rude Staff! I will never eat there again...

I love the endless baskets of fries! Their milkshakes are pretty tasty too! The only way to get the most of the endless basket of fries is to go before lunch rush or after because otherwise you will get crappy service because the waiter/resses are spread thin so you won't get full attention. Otherwise the food is better than Johnny Rockets (which is the other sit down place in the mall) . My favorites is the Clucks N Fries (chicken tenders) and the Mushroom Burger. Safe bet is to stick to the burgers and chicken - otherwise your risking dissappointment!

I haven't reviewed Red Robin yet?!? Service can be a struggle. Tonight we played round robin with the tables on both sides of us. We were seated and then it so long for us to be approached, I almost said something. We suddenly had two waitresses doing the "she did it" finger point. I don't care - someone just get us some drinks and take our order. We almost got table #1's food, then table #3 almost got our food - then we got table #4's drinks. My husband asked how long it might take to get a re-fill in the chaos and I just replied, "I dunno - but they'll give it to that table when you do get it." They suddenly swapped out both waitresses for a waiter and from that point on, we were tended to like royalty. He even had a cute accent. :) The food is so good. It's easy to look over the service chaos. The Bleu Ribbon burger is lethal. I'll eat it until I feel like Violet in Willy Wonka's factory - after she chews the blueberry gum. The BLTA - I will crave it every once in awhile and nothing else will do. The southwest salad - A+ Fried Shrimp - Thumbs up their steak fries - is it really necessary to temp me with the whole bottomless idea? Freckled Lemonade makes my freckled face smile. The whole family loves eating here.

You must try the prime rib sandwich...delish! With a side of garlic fries you can't go wrong. I also love there chili. It has a great flavor! Freckled Lemonade will never disappoint you! The service is sometimes lackluster and it can get very crowded here (it's at the mall) but other than that, it is a good eat!

I went to Red Robin for a burger while out shopping at Sun Valley Mall. My next stop was going to be Costco and that's one place I DON'T WANT TO GO TO WHEN I'M HUNGRY. I ordered the basic cheeseburger and fries. They have an assortment of cheeses to choose from (swiss, provolone, cheddar, pepper jack and maybe one other). The burger was juicy and good. The one surprising thing I encountered at this restaurant is, they have BOTTOM LESS fries. That means, you can order refills on your fries at no charge! The french fries are the steak fries. They were hot, crispy and lightly seasoned. They have their own seasoning which they have on the tables. The service was good. The prices were reasonable ($8.95 for the cheeseburger and fries) and the restaurant had a pleasant atmosphere. Oh, in case you were wondering, I only had 4 refills on the fries. ha ha j/k LOL!

First of all, I LOVE Red Robin, but I have never eaten at this one. Here's why... I went with a group of friends on Saturday night. We were a group of 8 and were informed that we would be waiting about 30 minutes. We were fine with that. Let's fast forward an hour and a half (insert several times of being told it would be 5-10 minutes longer during that period). Finally, someone in the group approached the hostess and pointed out that there had been two tables completely open for 30 minutes, and they could very easily be pushed together to make space for 8, now that there was no one waiting to be seated, except our group. She told us that she needed to ask her manager for permission. While this was happening, I started to look around the seating area (there are windows all around it). There were three tables that had already been cleaned that had chairs for 8. There were an additional two tables that were empty, waiting to be bussed, with chairs for eight. And then there was one group of eight, waiting for absolutely no reason. It took nearly ten minutes for the girl to come back and tell us that she was going to find someone to put the tables together for us "right away." We decided to leave at that point, realizing that it would be another 30 minute wait to get food, and Red Robin just isn't worth a two hour wait. This entire experience was absolutely ridiculous. I previously worked in hotel/restaurant management, and if one of my employees came to ask if they could put two empty tables together to accommodate a group of eight that had been waiting an hour and a half, after the group pointed out how easily they could be seated (or any part of that scenario), I would have immediately gone out and apologized to the group, personally set their tables, and gotten them free appetizers. Drinks, appetizers, food, and gratuity included, a group of eight is $300. After the service we received when we were prepared to spend $300, I would never give this restaurant a cent.

pretty much went there the last time. I used to think of it as an ok place, but after our last visit I am done with this place. Restauran was not busy at all and had to wait waaaay too long for food. Paying 30.00 for lunch for 2 is waaaay to expensive. Food was waaaay over priced for quality.

  • Helen K.

They get it right here, almost every time. The food is served exactly how you ask for it. They have a pre-printed menu available for gluten free or any other dietary restriction. The servers we've had seem well trained and friendly. Don't go for ambiance, go for the fries... yum. We go if we're running errands with the kids.

I love Red robin food in general but they kinda half a** our food today. the hake was watery and runny, fries was old tasting, burgers were not made to my specification...But the real reason im giving this restaurant a low score is because of the bad attitude and bad custoer service of employees. Our table was stinky and dirty,we waited 20 minutes for our food, and all i could see was employees and manager chatting with each other. sorry but i will not recommend this location to my friends.

Terrible. Got there on a weekend late afternoon. Figured there shouldn't be a wait at that time. Came in from the mall side. We saw at least 6 empty tables through the windows and stopped counting, as there were more than 6 empty tables. Got to the entrances and saw a line of people waiting. A hostess asked how many, we said two and she grabbed two menus and started to take us to a table, then the girl with the waiting list stopped us. She said there would be at least a 15 minute wait. I asked why there is a 15 minute wait when there were at least 6 empty tables. No answer, just it would be a 15 minute wait. I asked again, why a 15 minute wait when there were empty tables, cleaned off with silverware and napkins ready to go. No answer. At that point we went into the bar section to avoid the wait. Really strange. Hint to management- don't stick some poor young girl out in front to greet customers when your management skills stink. Empty tables and a 15 minute wait?? Anyway, the best part of the whole visit was our waitress. Even though she was running around like crazy due to understaffing, she was great. Now on to the famous fries. Got our burgers and about 6 fries in the little sliver cup. " What's up with this, you might as well get us some more fries" I said. "We're out right now" he said. A few minutes later a plate with fries shows up at our table. Warm, at best, more like luke warm. My wife and I looked at each other and wondered aloud, "where were these laying around". Then a plate of hot fries shows up. And to really make this a place I most likely will never step foot in again; the place is a bar, at least it looks like a bar, so I order an electric tea from the bar. It's not on their drink menu so they can't make it. Really. A bar that can't make a drink to order. Just an amazing experience. I wish I could give them zero stars, it is that bad. My guess is management doesn't have a clue about running a successful business. Too bad, it used to be a good place.

Went here on Black Friday with my boyfriend and my mom. Despite the Black Friday crowd, we were able to get a table fairly quickly. The place is nicely decorated and our server was friendly. Our food came fairly quickly. The burgers and milkshakes are good here. I got a cheeseburger and a Rookie Magic milkshake (pretty much a cookies and cream shake). My boyfriend got a cheeseburger and a Mint Brownie shake. Our server was also prompt bringing us the check, which is always great.

I've gone in here at least 3 times and only eaten here once. The first two times the place was so crowded we left once seeing a huge line of 15 people in the doorway. The last time, we did get to eat. The food was nondescript and expensive. And I wanted to leave after the 30 minute wait we got to experience. I will not try for a fourth time.

Mmmm Shrroooomm burger... I love the buttery bread. Nuff said. :) JK. This place is amazing. Fast seating for packed nights like the one we experienced today. The server was friendly and always there with refills and the food was a hit! Our little one even enjoyed his mandarin oranges which were courtesy of our server. Very sweet. Okay, granted the host should really get a back of the house job because you can tell she is not happy about her job but once we got seated things were cheery. The tables are pretty close to each other though... Hmm, minus two stars for these things... BUT! I will be back, for those shrrroooooommms! :)

DIS-gus-ting!!!!!!!!!! I am reallllly turned off by any restaurant that had a DIRTY and UNATTENDED bathroom. The bathroom at a restaurant pretty much makes it or breaks it for me, and this bathroom was HORRIFIC! I mean really, a bathroom with dirty water on floor, garbage overflowing, no toilet paper, no paper towels or soap!! What does that tell you? The employees don't pee? Or the employees use this restroom in its condition and don't care to clean it. And NO SOAP? Are the employees serving you with clean hands?? Think about it. I brought this to the front desks attention and they blew me off as if I was just a complainer. Heck ya I'm complaining. I don't wanna be served by employees who use the bathroom for #1 or #2 and don't wash their hands cause there is NO SOAP ! Then on the way out the door bar to exit was dirty too with some kinda milky substance that I got all over my hand and yes it was me that wiped it all on your front door because I was DISGUSTED! Then I called to complain. I asked if there was a manger in duty and the fellow who answered said "nahhh". Lol. Really. Then I said a supervisor or anyone I can complain too? I was out on hold and NEVER attended too. So ya. This is my first yelp. ALLL bad at the red robin in sun valley. Won't be going there again. And next time your eating there go to the bathroom first and see if they even have soap in the dispenser. If they don't, DO NOT EAT THERE. that's just NASTY!!! And my one star was not by choice. I was forced to put one to yelp this complaint

Just wanted to say that my fiancé I had a great experience on 8/21/2013. Our first server was Princess and we finished up with D. They were both very friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable of the menu, just made us very happy that we chose Red Robin to have a bite to eat. I enjoyed a turkey burger and vodka martini, my fiancé bruschetta chicken burger and Ecco Pinot Grigio . The food was hot and delicious. the restaurant was very clean and inviting.

Ok, so I am a little obsessed with their cheese sticks! I might even go as far as to say I would want them as part of my last meal on earth!! They have a batter on them instead of breadcrumbs which is what I think makes them so good. I get the same thing everytime I go here. I start off with the cheese sticks of course, then a bacon cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms, garlic fries, a side of ranch and honey mustard and an iced tea. The only complaint I've ever had is that they sometimes cook the burger too much and it becomes dried out. Luckily this doesn't happen that often though. It gets really crowded on the weekends so I suggest going soon after they open.

We rolled by BJ's last night (and who doesn't love BJ's?) to have a look at whether we were likely to get a table within an hour. It seemed a bit crowded and (sealing the deal) Emily J. spied a small child playing in the revolving door. So, I turned the car around to find someplace else close. Lucky for us, good old Red Robin is just across the Mall. Going in, Red Robin already has a couple strikes against it. It's a big corporate chain (cue rant on culinary homogeneousness, industrialized food production, cultural hegemony, et cetera). It's also somewhat family friendly which is usually a big deterrent to me. To answer the first complaint, I say sometimes one needs food to be familiar and predictable (and in Concord). Derailing the industrial food juggernaut is going to take more than me boycotting Red Robin. The second complaint is easily dealt with. Red Robin is so loud inside that you can barely distinguish the screaming temper tantrums from the rest of the noise that is going on. So we get to the drinks. There are a few types of margaritas which seem indistinguishable from each other and a bunch of fruit flavored margaritas. There is also a litany of cocktails with "Fruity Boozey" in the name. We passed on those. They have more beer on tap than is listed on their menu so ask if you don't see what you want. I had a Newcastle, which I remembered them having before. Most of Red Robin's menu is burgers and sandwiches with a few salads and other entrées. I chose the Blackened Bayou Burger (Yes! Red Robin has distilled Cajun cuisine into burger form) which is topped with Angry (sauteed?) Onions, pepperjack cheese, "Creole" mustard sauce (what's Creole about mustard?), roasted red peppers, and a cabbage-carrot mix. This is piled onto a "jalapeño-cornmeal Kaiser roll." The burger did not taste like any "blackened" food I've had before. It seemed to be just a plain burger. Same for the roll, no hint of jalapeño or cornmeal. Judged by that, this burger is a disgrace to the Mississippi Delta. But the other toppings (I never figured out what made the onions "Angry") were a tasty combo. The fries were also really good, especially when dipped in their "Campfire Mayo." Red Robin delivers a predictably good, if not spectacular, meal with friendly service. And, we didn't have to wait for a table or witness some child get maimed by a revolving door. When I want actual Cajun food I'll borrow one of my Uncle's recipes or head to Angeline's ( yelp.com/biz/angelines-l… ).

Normally my wife and I love this place! Tonight, however, it took foooorrrreeeevvvveeeerrrr to get our food. I think they forgot about us :(..... Update: They did forget about us. Well, actually the waitress lost our order tag, so she had to retake our order. She was totally honest about it and didn't try to pass the blame. Very cool! (You don't see that very often anymore) We ended up getting our drinks for free and a 25% off the rest of our meals. We weren't in a hurry so this experience wasn't too bad.

The food here is amazing. I have a hard time choosing what to get. I LOVE the chicken pesto pasta and get it nearly every time. Another one of my favorites is the teriyaki chicken burger. It melts in your mouth. Service is usually pretty slow, the last time I was there, it took them forever to bring our food out & my pasta was cold. But other than that, I enjoy eating here!

Wen't to Red Robin last night. being that it is so close to Christmas the whole mall was PACKED. After finding parking and making the long trek into the restaurant I was pleased that I wasn't going to have to wait an hour to eat. We waited maybe 5 minutes and were seated. Our server was awesome, friendly and funny but not cheesy. He took our order and served us out appetizer of fried cheese which were yummy! He then went on lunch and another lady took over. she was alright. I got the A-1 peppercorn burger which is always delish! my kids ate all of their burger/grilled cheese and the boyfriend enjoyed his burger as well. The unlimited fries don't hurt either. Over all a good experience and will definitely be going back!

It's like Denny's I think, maybe without so much breakfast. You will overpay. Burgers are disappointing. Service even more-so. I had a gift certificate. And probably won't be back. Go to George's WC - YAY!

There is something wrong at the Sun Valley Red Robin. After reading these reviews you will come to the same conclusion, service is lacking here and it really needs to be fixed. The food is good, nothing is better than a good burger and fries. However, our party of four was given one napkin each and no silverware! OMG A napkin? Eating a burger and a napkin......SMH. I accidentally dipped my finger into the ranch dressing, which I NEVER asked for; and freaked out. I have an aversion to white sauces, dressings, whatever you choose to call them............and NO NAPKIN!!! Our server was nowhere to be seen, nor any other server for that matter, I had to go to the restroom and get paper towels. I wanted to cut my burger in half, but no silverware? Sorry, this is pretty basic stuff. Set my table DAMNIT! Sheesh. Guess I need to bring my own supply of napkins and silverware if going again.

Sucked. Had to ask our waitress for things, 2-3 times! C'mon now. I asked for Mustard for my burger. After waiting and asking twice, I gave up and asked another staff member. Good LORD, its just mustard, what? do you have to go make it in the back?? Yes, they were nice but, they should notice the obvious, Extra napkins, how about a bag for all the food you're taking To go????

I have been a huge fan of Red Robin since I was in HS. It is still somewhere I love to frequent. Every time I go in, I convince myself I'm going to derail from what I normally get. Nine times out of 10 I end up with the BBQ Chicken Wrap and a Freckled Lemonade. Anywhere that offers free refills on drinks gets a * in my book, but Red Robin is just a fun, inexpensive place to enjoy a meal. Props to Melissa the balloon lady!

I'm about to make a very strong statement. Let me think about this for one last minute. Is it so? tap tap tap tap tap YES, it is SO. Red Robin has the best burger I've ever had in my entire life!!!! Why? Mushroom burger----TON of 'shrooms, Ton of SWISS and cooked perfectly to your liking with...flavor, size, consistency and the bottomless STEAK FRIES. Get some ranch on the side with some Freckled Lemonade to rinse it all down. If you are feeling extra gluttonous, try the ROOKIE MAGIC OREO SHAKE. And if you are a drinker, get the COOKIE MAGIC or "sand in your shorts" RR doesn't disappoint...EVER and I've been to locations up and down Cali...from Concord to Fairfield to Coalinga to Rancho Cucamonga to right there down the way from Disneyland in Anaheim! Damn, hungry NOW...

Food is consistent to every other Red Robin I've been to, but the service sucks. There are always people waiting to be seated with open tables -everywhere-. Servers are dopey and unattentive. The manager spends more time dicking around then actively managing his crew and the floor. It's pretty silly.

3.5 stars. I had no idea there was a Red Robin here. I've only ever been to/seen a Red Robin in the Midwest while I'm traveling. This is one of the better chains that I've been to. Huge menu selection. Standard American fare. I always want to try something different on their menu everytime, but the mushroom burger (mushroom, swiss and onions yum!), with a gardenburger, always draws me back. Service isn't bad, but not great either, but they get the job done. And prices are reasonable. It can be on the louder side, but I didn't feel like I was yelling to be heard.

I really love Red Robin. To the point where I've become a bit addicted. However, I have to say that Concord's Red Robin has horrible service. Every time I come here (which is pretty often) I have never received good service! They either "forget" a part of my meal, or they don't bring me a box after I've asked for it, or they don't refill my water. It's really annoying to want to come eat at Red Robin, but know that I'm going to be waiting and asking servers for a lot of their attention. But the food is really good.

  • Aaron B.

Maybe the best I've had. And that's sayin something because I took mine to go with all the trimmings on the side, and ate it 4 hours after it was cooked. The meat was still juicy and tasty, and the fires were so good I had them with no ketchup-and cold. You gotta love a place that sells good burgers and such but also has a full bar.

I love Red Robin. I am originally from Seattle, where the chain started, and I have been over 50 times to 3 or 4 different Red Robins in the Seattle area. I have tried this Red Robin 3 times. All three times have been a terrible experience. I will never, ever, go back. The service has been terrible. Average wait time for food after ordering? About 40 minutes. 2 out of 3 times it took over 10 minutes to get a check. Last time I was their I ordered a Whiskey River BBQ burger. I figured that it was a classic, and even this Red Robin could not mess it up. The onion strings took it down hard. I had a under-fried, cold clump of grease and breading in the middle of my burger. I almost gagged when I bit into it. How does that happen? Is there just a tray of precooked onion straws back there and I just got an oops scoop? I took a picture of it and almost called a manager over to show them how terrible their food was, but I couldn't get a waiters attention, and decided it wasn't worth the required time. Our server seemed new, and I even felt a little bad. My girlfriends burger was served lukewardm. I understand now why she doesn't like Red Robin, and why she is bewildered as to why I do. This place really sucks. I won't give it another chance. I wanted to like it so much. I wanted to think our first two meals were flukes. If they hire some more staff and get their quality under control, maybe they would have something going for them.

I love Red Robin (except for the one in Reno yelp.com/biz/red-robin-g… ). This location is no exception. The burgers are good, as are their chicken sandwiches (I think I usually order the whiskey river chicken sandwich). I like that they give you a choice of sides for the kid's meals. I always get the mac 'n cheese with mandarin oranges for my daughter, and then i share my fries with her. I'm not a big fan of steak fries, anyway. Hey Red Robin! If you start serving skinny fries, I'll give ya a fifth star. How 'bout it?

  • Diana W.

As far as food at the mall goes, this is #3 behind the dim sum place and the mongolian barbeque. As a restaurants go, not one of my favorites. The burgers are OK, the appetizers are standard, and the fancy lemonades are more tasty in theory than in practice. I normally wouldn't complain about something like this, but could I get a few more choices that aren't burgers? I usually end up going here when someone else picks, and there are days I just can't handle that much beef. I had the pulled pork sandwich last time and it was pretty good, if a little too much vinegar. Overall, just mediocre. Nothing really wrong with it, but nothing really right either. Also, is it just me or is the Sunvally Mall getting more ghetto every day?

Ah, good old Red Robin! Home of the all you can eat steak cut fry! I recommend that you get them with a side of ranch, honey mustard, and BBQ sauce. Simply delish! The garlic steak cut fries are also delish and bottomless! Great chain! My menu favorites are: 1. The BBQ Chicken Wrap: probably the only wrap I will ever consume. I am Mexican we don't like cold tortillas, especially not green ones. 2. Garden Burger + Sauteed Mushrooms: this is the best unhealthiest, greasiest, Garden Burger I have ever had. The magical garden burger sauce is amazing! Leave it to Red Robin to make my normally healthy menu choice with an additional 1000 delish calories. 3. Clucks and Fries: I am a sucker for good old fried chicken. Can't go wrong here. 4. Just In Quesadilla (Chicken) + Chicken Tortilla Soup: Great Combo! Not Mexican at all but still delish! Note: I think all the salads are pretty blah! Drinks: The bottomless freckled (strawberry) lemonade is delish, they have great shakes, and all their $4+ fruity drinks are all really good. So why did they loose a star? Because depending on the night and your server the experience can be less than great. You know kids crying, a server who doesn't pay attention to the details, etc.

2/4/2009 Came here with the mom a few weekend ago, she wanted to buy a purse and we couldn't decide where the fuck to eat in shitty Concord so I suggested Red Robin since I haven't been there in like forever. We entered from the outside parking lot and instantly my eyes were bombared with a gajillion bright red light bulbs, OMFG who the fuck was the genius behind this retina smoltering idea??! Someone get me some Ray Charles shades quick! I walk up to the reception looking down and wobbling around like a drunk blind man and asked for a table for 2. The main dining area was much nicer, okay not nicer, but it just didn't have the sun right there on your eyeballs, everything else looked like the typical cheesy/happy/cheery restaurant. A young lady served us and did a pretty decent job at it. I ordered their BBQ pulled pork sandwich with the parmesean garlic steak fries... god damn I love those kinds of fries, but of course Red Robin had to fuck that up too. They tasted like sticks of grease, not a lot of garlic and they were all soggy n shit. My sandwich on the other hand was quite acceptable, lots of meat and their BBQ sauce tasted surprisingly good. But of course half the time I can't taste my food because I'm too damn busy shoving it all down in one shot, ugh! Stop doing that!! Would I come back? Yes, maybe if they remove all the red hot gay ass light bulbs, fucking causing blisters on my gorgeous face........

Red Robin is a place we default to many times. It's reasonably convenient and priced. Hours are pretty good too. Service is generally ok. I'd say a 6 or 7 on any given visit. It's not uncommon to get seated promptly, then wait for any service to begin. Once you do order something, it may take a while to get it. Then, it may take a while to get the check. I've learned to have payment ready once the check comes, cause it usually takes a while to get the server to come back. Always good is the BLTA. Half a Blue Ribbon Burger is all I handle well, but I love it so. I team up with my wife, Jenn, and split it with another entree. She usually get's something lighter, and that helps balance the meal out. She and my daughter usually get the Freckled Lemonade. We all usually get Ranch to dip the steak fries. Must get something to dip those bad boys in! I like this chain because the experience and food is generally worth it, and everyone usually finds something they like.

We were on our way back form Discovery Kingdom (old Marine World-Africa USA) and it was 7pm already so we stopped in Sunvalley Mall for a quick dinner. There were three adults in our party so the entrees we ordered were chicken strips, riblets and mac n cheese, and bbq chicken wraps. All were good or very good. Nothing was terrible. The wrap, mac n cheese, and fries were probably the very good dishes. The dining area and bathrooms were clean. The waiter was friendly and attentive. This is the first time and I would go again.

Okay, the commercials don't go YUMMMMMMMMMMM for nothing! Man are these burgers good. First of all, they're big. Second of all, they're juicy. Third, they're creative!!!! I've never had burgers like this. The Sicilian, AWESOME! How about peperoni, provolone, olive herb mayo, red onions and balsamic-marinated tomatoes? Oh yeah, I forgot the big half pound piece of mouth watering meat. Okay okay yeah, I'm a meat-a-tarian so sue me. But seriously, these burgers are good. I've had the Whiskey BBQ one as well, and yeah, it's just as good. So... that's the food, now to the service. Slow, in multiple ways. Now I'm not the type of person who wants to beat up on anyone. I appreciate the work servers do, and I always tip 20% or more. But the few times I have gone here, the service has most definitely been sub-par. It's hard to find good service these days, but I simply don't want to feel as if I need to get up and ask for another drink. I know it's crowded, but pay attention. Overall though, this is a good place to eat. I'd say check it out for yourself.

I've been here a while ago and I recently went here this past weekend. I dont live in Concord but my brother does, so sometimes we go here. The staff is SUPER nice and friendly. They get the orders out pretty fast too considering we had 4 adults and 3 kids. I had the Whiskey Burger and it was soooo good.

Hosts: Too busy with their personal problems. 2 stars Food: small size of Onion rings come with 2 types of dipping ( I think ranch and chipottle dressing). 4 stars Chicken basil chiabatta. 3 stars Garlic fries is delicious. 4stars Something burger. I think it's good because he finished it. 3 stars since no comment from him. Overall service 4 stars. Formula: 20 starts / 6 items: 3.333 cumulative: 3 star

I should be glad that the bad customer service I received was not just my being too sensitive. I wanted something to go, so the hostess had me sit at the bar. Get there, no staff. Someone comes out, makes a couple of drinks, does a few things...Meanwhile, I just sat there. The guy didn't even look at me. Finally, he turned to me to say he'd be right with me but at that point, I left in disgust. Two stars because the hostess was nice and I've eaten here before and like their Turkey Burgers.

OMG. I do not like this Red Robin AT ALL. I came here ready to order my usual, a freckle lemonade and a southwest chicken pasta. My boyfriend and I put in our orders, he ordered a burger. We also ordered the Just-In-Quesadilla appetizer. Our drinks came promptly, it tasted A-Ok, just like the freckle lemonade I've been getting from the San Bruno Red Robin. The appetizer was good. BUT my goodness when my pasta came, it looked a little weird to me. Having that be the dish I order most frequently at this restaurant, I know good from bad.... and this was BEYOND bad. I mixed my pasta and saw what was underneath my pasta.... OIL. Not just a drizzle of oil, but like 1/2 a cup of oil! I started pouring or well draining the oil out of my poor pasta.... then our waiter comes over and sees this. I'm told I can order something else. Really now? I wanted my pasta. So I decide to give the pasta a try because perhaps maybe there was just a TAD too much oil but it might still be good. I took one bite and ECK! Never tasted anything that horrible. So I get a cheeseburger instead.... and still I wasn't satisfied. I could barely put in more than 3 bites. My boyfriend wasn't too fond of his burger as well. Concord Red Robin, you've ruined our Red Robin experience. Never am I coming back because obviously the chef's cannot prepare a decent order of food. I'll drive to the San Bruno Red Robin from now on!

Dude....usually you can go to Red Robin and get a decent burger for a chain. But this location is freaking horrible. I went early on a Sunday. Didn't have to wait cause they were slow. So we sit down and within 20 seconds the waitress comes out and asks us if we are ready to order. WHAT? I haven't even picked up my menu yet. So whatever she comes back in a little bit and we order. Wait a little while and our burgers come out. Wait a minute, what happened to the appetizer we ordered? So I start eating my sorta flavorless burger and the waitress asks how everything is, and we mention that we haven't gotten our appetizer yet. So when it came down to it, we got our appetizer as we were about to leave, the food was mediocre and warm at best. To top it off, it is pretty god damn expensive for what we got. I won't be going back to this RR ever, probably never to any Red Robin.

Love red robin and this location always takes care of me. I always order to go and ask for multiple sides of ranch and extra fries. They never fail on getting my order right and the food is always ready when they say it will be. Good job Robin!

All I can say about this All American Burger joint...is that the Clucks and Fries are to die for! Service is never really up to par...they are usually pretty slow(even when just serving up some old chicken strips that take like 5 mins to cook), and a lot of the time they forget at least ONE item from what you originally ordered. But what can I say...those dam Clucks and Fries pull my heart strings every time and win me over.

First time we thought it was okay... a bit expensive. In comparison to Bistro Burger it comes up way short. Bistro Burgers are fresher, better presented, more creative and of a higher quality. ( yelp.com/biz/bistro-burg… ) Won a gift certificate so we headed back. Service had gone way down. The wait staff "wait-kids" were exactly that and very unprofessional. Jumping around grabbing balloons... wandering around, 3-5 employee wait-kids standing at the front reception desk. It was very frustrating because we were tyring to get silverware. The food came and 5 minutes later I'm walking around asking people for silverware. A couple wait-kids handed the job off to other wait-kids. Food was overpriced and service was a disaster. My hamburger was delicious. Meg's Hamburger was disappointing. Kids ate their food.

I haven't eaten here since I was a little kid, so we opted to take ourselves back in time and have dinner here. Their menu has tons of options and they even offer bottomless fries! I didn't think my burger was moist or particularly tasty, but it is what it is and inexpensive so what can you expect? I missed out on ordering the milkshake too, next time if there is a next time :T. There was a woman here making balloon animals that were sooo nice and the kids in the restaurant were completely enjoying the experience - I thought that was a very nice touch! My only complaint here is that the server kept coming back to clean things up and give us our bill when I was only halfway through my meal. I'm a very slow eater but I think that it was a little rude to keep coming back to clean up everyone's stuff and give us our check when I was still eating. He was an attentive and friendly server, but I didn't like feeling rushed or like I was an imposition to him by eating so slow.

We frequent this place and I often order the Banzai Burger. It's a really good burger, but can be messy so make sure to ask for a lot of napkins. My partner likes the blackened chicken sandwich. Their fries are pretty good too. Their service has always been good whenever we visit. Place is generally clean. Definitely a Family friendly place, so be prepared to be surrounded by kids at times.

I just went here yesterday. Service is SLOW. We waited at least 30 mins and all we ordered was appetizers and drinks. At first we ordered the quesadilla, which we specifically ordered with no mushrooms and no guacamole. And guess what.. It came with both! We were telling the waiter that when the manager came by asking what the problem was. She told us she was right on it, even when we changed our order to hot wings. She comp'd both the quesadilla and hot wings so all we paid for was the drinks (and the extra shots!) That was about the only thing great about this location. I probably won't go back

Our server was very nice. We sat at the bar. We had the nachos with the chili on the side. And a side of french fries. The server gave us three side of dipping sauce. Soooo nice! The food came out very quickly. My friend and I had cocktails. I had the margarita. Why did I even get this? It tasted like a virgin margarita. My friend got the freckled lemonade cocktail and said she liked it.

Horrible service!!! I can't comment on the rest of the dining experience, because there wasn't any. After waiting for more than twenty minutes, we were done. They dropped us at our table, and that was it. No one came by with a water. No one asked us about drinks, and no one even took our order! I don't expect world class service at red robin, but I do expect them to actually do something!!! We are never going again.

The decor is almost cheesy now. The seat at the booth was slightly wet from having been just wiped. Oh well...it's just work clothes. That aside...my Blackened Chicken Burger was yummy. The chicken was moist, and the whole thing had a good flavor.I'm kind of a spicey food nut ,so I ask for some of the Buffalo Wing hot sauce on the side to dunk my burger into a little. Yum! My friend inhaled his burger...now you saw it now you don't. He was diggin his fries too. I refrained from the fries and swapped for a good little salad on the side. Parking can be a pain being that this place is in the mall, but it's an enjoyable meal especially for lunch.

Got here early on a Sunday so no wait. Waiters refreshed and attentive. Both hubby and I ordered cajun burger - blackened burgers with onions, pepperjack cheese, peppers..not too hot though. Great cornmeal dusted bun..endless fries. Nothing missing here.

Went to red robin today we were greeted immediately seated and had our order taken very promptly. Our server Emily was really good probably one of the better servers I have had at any restaurant ever. Food was good and just the overall experience was very positive I would recommend this location a lot and would return any time. So if you are at sun valley mall think twice about Bj's and go here they have the concept of customer service down .

I don't normally write reviews but i felt this one was needed. My review isnt really about the food but the condition of the restaurant. About two weeks ago I visited this restaurant with family and we were seated near the kitchen. Note, that we got there about 30 minutes before closing time. After dinner we glanced in the kitchen and saw that it was absolutely filthy. We thought that because it was closing time, maybe the staff were cleaning up and we assumed that the kitchen wouldn't normally look like that during serving times. Now, on New Years Eve my friend came over and she wanted a burger from Red Robin. The service was extremely slow and the burgers just tasted OFF! She ordered blue cheese dressing with her food and it was watery and smelled old. We decided to leave after the slow service and I said to her... I am going to walk near the kitchen and see if it was in the same state as my prior visit. The kitchen was again filthy... food all over the floor. I was just disgusted. I have visited Red Robin a couple years ago and it was not like this. The first time I thought the restaurant was having an off day but twice in two weeks is scary. I will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Thank you Red Robin for allowing us to do some studying while munching on some all you can eat steak fries. This Concord location was a refuge for a couple of us Socal suburbanites who needed to get away from the wackiness of Berkeley and cure our homesickness with a good ole strip mall. There's nothing like downing a Royal Red Robin, stuffed with its juicy bacon and egg filling, all while studying for a Nutritional Science test.

nice place to relax and have a nice lunch to get a break from the mall life. they have some good wraps and my BFF says they have the best burgers in the east bay. she sometimes drives fro Oakland just to have one. the also have good french fries and desserts. but the location and the service is what makes this place the best for me.

Their alcoholic drinks were yummy but alittle weak! Their spinach burrito bbq chicken wrap was amazing! Yum Yum highly reccommend! Plus I love their fries....they are the jumbo, thick cut kind and they use a special seasoning on them that is just so good you want more fries with your food! Take-out service is fast and friendly! Will come back again soon!

A while back, we were debating on where to go for a good burger, and chose Fat Burger. Big mistake, but that's another review. At any rate, one random Sunday, weeks later, we found ourselves with three kids and no desire to cook -- it was one of those hot Sunday afternoons. We brought the kids to Red Robins. They all enjoyed their kids meals, and both of the adults had burgers. Mine was a mushroom burger -- perfectly done and w/ the right amount of melted cheese. AND bottomless french fries that are the good steak fries. Although I read some of the other reviews about bad service, my experience here was great. I had to only make eye contact for my waitress to come over to see what else we needed; plus she refilled our glasses regularly. I'm sure we will be back.

Best part about going here is the food. However, the service needs work. I have ordered to-go many times and half the time they screwed up on my order. Sometimes it isn't even ready on time! The atmosphere is not bad w/ seatings by the bar (w/ TVs) or regular tables.

  • Maricel B.

Food is great especially their steak fries. No complaints in that department. My big complaint is their employees. Rude to the core. A couple of years ago, I made an order to-go which took my entire lunch time since the guy never bothered to follow-up on it. When a bunch of my co-workers had dinner there, they were horrible. "That's ALL your ordering?", "You SURE you don't want something else?". Dude. Chill the eff out. I haven't returned to that location since.

I love love love their food, but here at this particular one, I had the most horrible experience of my life with the waitstaff. One night, I went for dinner with my husband and sister and the waitresses kept switching on us. They were all mixed up with our food. They took forever to check on us and we had 3 different servers in the short time we were there. I honestly didn't think it was worth a tip. As we were leaving the restaurant, one of the waitresses chased me out, yelling at me in the mall that I "need to get back in there and leave a tip!" I didn't go back for about a year. I haven't seen her since, but it was a bad experience. Excellent food, though!

So once again I ditched the budgeting for some good ol' fashioned, homestyle food. Uh...should have kept the $6.00. So, my co-workers/friends of mine and I all met at Red Robin to grab a bite to eat. Before entering the restaurant, my friend and I decided on a game plan and that we were going to split a meal together. We chose the chicken/basil ciabatta sandwich with garlic fries. The sandwich was pretty good except it fell apart in my hands and the fries were basically soggy sticks doused with garlic. I'm glad I didn't opt for the entire sandwich because it would have set me back almost $11.00. Now, hours later, my tummy is rumbling and I don't think that's such a good thing. I've eaten here before and have left most of the time unsatisfied or feeling really sick. I've definitely had better. In addition, the service was a little slow, but luckily they were friendly enough to put up with my pushy friend who was constantly riding the waitress' tail to bring out the food.

This place is on my s*** list. Sorry, but I hate it. My bf & I ate here about a year ago. I ordered some pasta dish. The pasta was cold & hard (NOT al dente, just gross). When I told the waitress she replied, "yeah, it's not very good". I ordered something different, so in the meantime my bf was eating his hamburger when he found a long hair in it! & the bottomless french fries...sure, sounds like a great deal, but they only bring you a/b 6 at a time! Then a few months ago me & a couple co-workers went for drinks & appetizers. We ordered the nachos thinking it'd be enough for the 3 of us (they're not big eaters). When the waitress brought the plate out we thought we were on hidden camera. All we could do was laugh....there was a large plate w/ about 7-8 chips on it w/ the various toppings, cheese, etc. on top. We asked the waitress & she said the dish was fine, that's how the nachos come. We're not BIG eaters, but 2-3 chips each did NOT fill us up! For a burger place, I'd rather go to Fuddrucker's.

  • Serena R.

Worst service ever! Our server checked in with us once and then never came back. We had to ask the hostess to refill our fries after waiting quite some time to be acknowledged. Our waiter even checked in with the table next to us a few times but would walk away before we could ask for anything. Then she proceeded to restock the condiments at a table right in front of us without a word or even a glance in our direction. I gave two stars because the food was good and the guy I ordered my drink from delivered it quickly.

  • Rick T.

I've eaten here about ten times. The food is not bad. A little greasy, but generally pretty tasty. Bottomless fries is a great feature. I'm kind of a fish & chips fan so I've had that a few times. Again they're a little greasy, but I like them. I've tried several burgers and most were not bad. I liked the fish/chicken burgers too. Their salads are ok,but I'm not a big fan of their soups and the desserts I've tried were terrible. The service isn't the greatest(even when it's not that crowded). Usually service in the dining area is a little better than the bar area. It's not just the servers either because the food sometimes takes a long time to come out of the kitchen. Overall the food is worth trying as long as you're not too health-concious. But because of the service,I usually only stop here if I have a craving for the bottomless fries, which are good and more importantly - bottomless.

Great food and service! The service this time was exceptional! Andrew just took a moment to ask my 10 year old what games he just bought at Game Stop and made him feel special. When I asked Andrew our server for Michael's name, he quickly smiled and said that he was his brother. Both Andrew and Michael spent a few seconds confirming my son's game selections, which just made his day. It's is refreshing to see old fashion service in the youth of today. Thank you! Vito

For burger lovers, this is the place to go. It has a great selection of burgers on their menu and who could complain about their unlimited Steak Fries? Only thing that holds me back is the fact that as many times as I've ate here, the customer service really lacked. I ran out of water and steak fries before I had to wave someone down and my bill got mixed up with another customer's. Amongst their wide selection, the bleu cheese burger is one of the burgers I would recommend. Price-wise, expect to pay 22-25 dollars for 2 people and close to 30 if you include an appetizer. So if you don't mind compromising customer service for a great burger, this is your place.

  • Kolya R.

My first time there, I ordered a Southwestern Chicken Pasta, for $11.79. Very tasty. Maybe a little overpriced. Fun hostess who was "brutally honest" about the healthiness of the food. Yummy fries (unlimited portions), served with Ranch Dressing, upon request. Cool retro decor.

  • John D.

The food at this place is great, as far as burger restaurants go, but the service couldn't be worse if they tried. I have twice now had to leave because no one came to take our orders after being seated. Both times we waited at least 15 minutes, and nobody even came by to take our orders or even let us know they'd get to us soon. They weren't even busy! I'll never go back again.

If you like burgers & fries, this place should be your haven. You can get your burgers cooked however you want with basically any topping you want, and they have the best BOTTOMLESS (read: as much as you want) steak fries with their special seasoning that is soooo tasty (with a jar on the table if you want to add more) which I like to dip in one of their dressings - ranch or honey mustard. They have other dishes too for a bigger palate range, but gourmet burers are their core. I'm seriously salivating just thinking about this place. It's loud and covered in red lights with quirky pictures all over the wall, so it'd be better for a "looser" night out. They also have a bar with fancy non-alcoholic drinks and milkshakes. I haven't eaten here in a while cuz you WILL rack up calories like there's no tomorrow. Maybe for my birthday..

The food is always great here ...but the service can be somewhat hit or miss. They have a wide variety of delicious and creative burgers. This is a chain restaurant which I am usually not too into but they are pretty good. We had a large party here for my soon too be hubby in june about 15 people. They don't take reservations and it was a surprise party. The manager was very helpful and suggested I call an hour before and let them know we are coming. I did that unfortunately the staff had no idea. But the surprise wan nor ruined one of the guest spoke with the hostess and they got our party seated just in time in spite of the misunderstanding. During this visit we had great service...but other times the servers can disappear and forget to bring items you ask for. Note: Red robin has all you can eat fries so come with a big appetite, but they tend to forget to offer refiles on fries. When we go we ask our sever as soon as we order to bring fries so we can snack while waiting I have never had a server say no!

  • Meranda B.

I hate chains, but I have to admit that their veggie burger is the best I've ever had (next to Barney's in Berkeley/Oakland). I've never tried anything else at this "Mall Restaurant", save the fries, which are bottomless and quite pleasing in a decadent 'I-want-to-throw-up-now' kind of way. The service is phony and they sometimes rush you along too much, but if you are desperate for adequate comfort food and you are stuck in the mall, and you happen to be a vegetarian, and you like a lot of french fries, and the planets unite, and all worlds collide, and it is a full moon, and your pants aren't too tight (or maybe they are), and your feet are tired, and your shopping is done, and your baby wants to make a mess of some ketchup, and......well, Red Robbin might be ok.

Tasty, tasty, TASTY!! I've been going to Red Robin since I was a kid (we have these down in LA too) and I can't get enough of this place! The chicken fingers are the best I've ever had. Try the special Red Robin criss cut looking fries. I'm in love with the strawberry lemonade. Oh so good! :) Everything here rocks! The staffs always friendly and every now and then you can spot the bird himself walking around. I try to keep my mum always from him. She seems to have some weird fascination with the red bird..... did I also mention she's Canadian? ;)

The food is pretty good. Service is okay for the most part. The thing I can't believe is when I went with a friend on Halloween for lunch, I ordered a turkey burger and the server asked me if I wanted cheese with it. Of course, I said yes thinking it would be one slice of cheese and probably just around 50 or 75 cents addtl. I got the bill and they put 2 slices of cheese and charged me $1.49!!! I asked the server why he didn't tell me they put 2 slices when a customer would presume it's just one slice and on top of that, the cheese cost $1.49 extra. He apologizes for not letting me know and he said one slice already cost $1.29 and 20 cents for addtl. I thought that was the most ridiculous thing to charge so much for cheese. He tells me it's inflation and how the economy is now. I say it's a rip-off because my burger already cost me almost $10! So for all of you who go and visit and want cheese with your sandwiches, just be prepared to pay that $1.29 or $1.49 extra. It may not be much on its own but when you add the price of the burgers/sandwiches, i think it's way overpriced.

Alot of people have bagged on the service, I was there with my dad on a weekday a couple weeks ago at lunch and the service was fine, the waitress was very acomodating and friendly. I don't go for avacado, bacon, fried eggs, pineapple or any of that other stuff on a burger .I like mine simple so I get the cheese burger, with lettuce, tomato, relish and that's it. It was very good, juicy with lots of flavor, I love the thick cut fries with ranch dressing, my dad had the buffalo wings which were very good, nice and spicy not too salty which I find with buffalo wings. I've never had anything but the cheeseburger or the wings. I don't go for ethnic or complicated at a chain joint, too many things can go wrong. Perhaps if you stick to the basics or try their various custom drinks which sound delicious, I haven't tried them, you should do all right. Sometimes I want a burger NOT in a fast food joint.

They just have great All American food. And apart from that, the most grubbin' nachos you'll ever feast on, The Macho Nacho! If you're extremely hungry, get yourself a burger and take advantage of their bottomless fries, there are some great and refreshing drinks as well.

This is by far one of my most favorite places to eat for lunch or dinner! The burgers are yummy, fries or onion rings are awesome! Milkshakes are made just right & if you try the alcoholic drinks , you won't be disappointed! This place always seems to be packed but the host always seems to find you table with little to no wait. The waitress or waiter are always nice and seem to serve your food quickly. Like I said, I have nothing but good things to day about this place. In my opinion this place is better than Johnny rockets.

After going through slow and inattentive service at the San Bruno store, it's refreshing to actually come to a Red Robins with excellent service. The waitress who helped us was on the ball. She refilled our drinks without us asking and she brought additional baskets of fries too. This location still remains the same. They did not get the chi chi remake which is fine with us. Food was good. The mushroom burger is stuffed with real, fresh mushrooms. The last time I ordered this in San Bruno, they gave me canned ones! This is the best RR hands down!

I normally have a good experience at this location, however this time was very different. My party's server was Katiria and off the bat she was very rude. She greeted with a robotic tone and seem very impatient. She was really negative and not willing to help when my friend asked for her opinion on an certain plate. I didn't see a smile the whole time. I've been coming to this location for 8 years and this is my first bad experience. I hope management sees this and has a talk with her.

Never really in the Concord area so it was our first time eating at this Red Robin. We got seated quickly (in front of the kitchen) and our server was a sweetheart. As the fiancé and I were eating our dinner, he claimed to see a huge rat run by on the other side of the restaurant (not by the bar area). He wasn't sure if that's what he really saw until another customer saw it. Yup! So there was a rat and I'm pretty sure two employees saw it run pass them. Made us queasy thinking about it but we already ate what we ordered and we were going to pay what we owed. Annnd then paying became a hassle because their system went down. We're patient people but just the thought of that rat made us want to leave right away. So after waiting a while, we had to pay the old school way with their "crash kit" and we weren't given our receipt until we asked for it. We understand that things can happen unexpectedly but fix that rat situation! Two stars just for our server! First and last time here.

I came here on a Sunday, sat in the bar area and it was super slow. Our waiter introduced himself and told us that he's only 19 and is new to the job. We all ordered our food (mainly burgers). When the food was delivered, my boyfriends food never came. A few minutes went by and then we asked him where it was. He then said "oh shit my bad I never rang it in". So he then apparently rang in the correct burger. About 15 minutes after that our waiter returned with the correct order, only to find out that it was completely the wrong burger. By this point we were all fed up with our waiter. Our waiter then explained that he can take the burger off the bill but that he can't comp the bill or give him the correct burger for free. We then spoke with a manager who told us that his waiter never informed him of this. We ended up getting the correct burger for free but with no other discounts. Our waiters name was Val, and was probably the worst server we've encountered.

Havent been in awhile... Food was decent, the portions are smaller than before but still filling. Service was decent as well... We had a waitress that was very slow but everything else was ok

I have been in Red robin several times as my choice for a mediocre meal, however today, as I went at 11 when they first opened, I was seated to a table not cleaned and booth seat full of lettuce. Water was brought to us with onion ring batter on the glass, nobody asked how my daughter wanted her burger cooked, which came RARE, we were given two forks and ONE knife, (on purpose) there was no pepper on the table, the burger was delivered incorrectly included tomatoes which my kid is allergic to, and the waitress was a snotty hungover bitch. Won't be back!

I ordered the ribblets and clucks; not worth $5 bucks! Truly a sad dish if you're hungry, fortunately it comes with never ending steak fries that never came. The burgers everyone else ordered looked delicious.

I always place an order for to go, the ladies at the bar are always friendly and kind. Love their BBQ whiskey burgers and even more so the chicken BBQ wrap. Thank you for great food and great customer service. Wait time for to go dishes is anywhere between 10-20 mins so keep that in mind and be patient.

Whilst I did enjoy the whiskey bourbon burger the service was not very good. We had bottomless fries and root beer floats with our meals but we spent 20 minutes trying to get the servers attention which somewhat defeats the purpose of getting what you want whilst you still want it. There were definitely not enough servers for our section. We were put in an area with tables of 7 covers and therefore we did not get the attention we required. I'm not sure if I will come here again.

HORRIFIC. We were in the mall and decided to eat at Red Robin, we eat at the one at the Great Mall all the time. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We were told the wait was 10 minutes and it was closer to 30 minutes. We were seated and after 10 minutes our server arrived and took our drink and dinner order. About 15 minutes later we had our sodas. People were seated next to us, behind and across from us all after we were seated. They all were served their meals before us. All ordered the same as us burgers. Our server never came around and said your food is coming or let me check on your food order, she delivered the food to the booth beside and across from us but never once came back to our table. After 40 minutes, I asked for a manager but none came. We left. I will never ever go back to Red Robin again. There are too many restaurants that want your business in the mall. It's to bad you can't give zero stars because that is what this place really should get.

So I hate to even write this because I enjoy giving positive reviews on yelp. However, our trip to red robin yesterday was anything but pleasant or successful. We really wanted burgers.....so where else to go right?! Well many other places....but red robin was close and in our price range for the afternoon. And by the way I have been here numerous times in my life and have had great service. However, we walked in and the hostess was rolling silverware. The place was quite...it was 230pm. We were not greeted until we said hello. She turned and said how many, we say 2. She then proceeds to tell us the wait is 5 mins. First of all THERE was no one there!!! She comes back few mins later and she seats us in a booth. We sat there for 10 mins without being greeted or brought waters. That was when we looked at each other, laughed, and got up and left. When we walked out, the hostess did even look over at us. We both have worked in restaurants and we were embarrassed to walk out but the service was at below the usual we've had there in the past, especially for a slow Monday afternoon.

Red Robin can turn into anyone's favorite place to eat. This is exactly what happened to me when I met the love of my life. His #1 restuarant is Red Robin and what do you know, I happened to get a Red Loyalty Card a few days ago. haa! In other news, their gourmet burgers are really good. The veggies in the burger taste fresh and the burger is filled with flavor. I ordered a gourmet burger "to-go" 2 days ago and I was really impressed. The meal looked completely appetizing and I didn't have to wait long. I ordered a freckled lemonade during my wait which was super delicious! (lemonade with real strawberries). I enjoyed my burger and steak fries with honey mustard sauce..yum! And they really do honor the whole "endless steak fries" because when I opened the extra box in my bag, I was amazed to see MORE fries! They really know how to please a customer..especially, a potato lover :-) The only reason I can't give this location 5 stars even though I've been here a handful of times already is because the parking really sucks. They also need to spruce up the bathroom. It definitely needs a spot-check around the hour and clean up any messes left by customers. It's not enjoyable to see paper towels laying on the floor or a dirty mirror. The restuarant itself is very clean and presentable. I'll definitely go back to this Red Robin in the future. I can't say you should go out of your way to visit this RR but if you're shopping at the Sunvalley mall and get hungry then you should grab a bite to eat at Red Robin instead of Johnny Rockets or Cinnabon. It's more worth the money.

My fiance, 12 month old daughter and I were at the mall and searching for a quick place to eat and sit down. Was skeptical about going here bc I had never been. Service was good and fast. I ordered the bleu burger and the steak fries. It was delicious. The kids menu was pretty cheap and lots of variety.I ordered my daughter Mac n cheese with apple slices which she seemed to enjoy and my fiance ordered a fish sandwich that was also tasty. Would recommend this place if you're looking for casual dining that isn't pricey.

Red robin is not as good as I remembered it to be! I asked for my burger well done but it was a lil pink. And the freckled lemonade, that was the most disappointing!! I use to love this drink because it was filled with sweet strawberries!! Today, I saw three berries floating in that glass!! On the upside, I like that you can substitute bottomless sweet potato fries, of course for an extra $1.50.

Finally tried out Red Robbins again I know I know but it has been awhile. Though the wait for the food was longer than it should be (for the amount of people in the restaurant) service was better. Alex was the name of our server and he was very well trained on taking care of his guests. He was friendly with a laid back persona that did make you feel welcomed and wanted. He was also very up front about delays in the kitchen which was told before our order. This is a big upgrade from wondering what's going on. Though 1 meal got sent back for being incorrect Alex made sure to get a new meal to us as soon as possible. So I will update w a 3 star looks like they are trying to improve and though there is some work to be done I will give credit that its improved a lot since our last time .

My god !!!! If you see my other review, I only write about 4 to 5 stars experiences on here. THIS PLACE IS SO STUPID. Me and my girl walk in , it's busy i understand I'm willing to wait.. She tells us 10 to 15 minutes wait. Cool I'm down with that I thank her. HERE IS WHERE IT GOES DOWNHILL, so we're standing there waiting and waiting and waiting- she clearly sees us continue to wait. She seats ppl that came after us first so I approached her like wtf? HER RESPONSE: oh I didn't write your name down so your going to have to wait another 15 to 20 mins. I looked @ her with the are u fuxkin kidding me look ? Screw this place, RED ROBINS IF YOU CAN'T HIRE HOSTS THAT HAVE COMMON SENSE , YOU HAVE PROBLEMS. IT DOESN'T REQUIRE MUCH TO BE A HOST SO IF YOU FAIL @ SUCCEEDING THAT THEN I DON'T NEED TO GIVE YOU OUR BUSINESS! Which sucks for you considering I stop by with a large crew all the time giving you guys business - CONGRATS By the way they got really stingy with their fries. It comes in a tin can of no more than 10 fries. JOKE

I'm back for another review for this place until management does something to fix up the place. We went in about 3 weeks ago. Host told us there was a 10 minute wait. When she finally brought us to our table, there were so many vacant seats! Second, it took FORVER for someone to take our order. Lastly, when our food came, again my food was cold. Most especially my fries. Oh and our food also took FORVER to get to our table. It almost seemed like some people that came after us got their food first. If you want to deal with poor service and cold food this is the place to be.

It's one of the better restaurant chains, especially since they have the option of gluten free buns for their burgers. Fiery ghost burger are NOT as hot as I would like it. But their burgers and their wraps are so good...I am obsessed with their Cesar Chicken Wrap. Friendly server, was on point and always was checking back...The host staff could use some work they were having a loud conversation in front of customers and when I asked regarding their Royalty Club - which I should be more clear - I asked "Do I ask you or the server about getting the club card" at which she said Ya...hmmm didn't really answer my question but Thanks... In their defense I used to work at a restaurant so I like I over analyze on mistakes. But knowledge of the menu and product is important

The worst part about this place is the burgers. The last two times I've been here my burgers were horrible. The last time was the worst, I ordered a Mushroom Swiss burger and it came to me plain - no lettuce, tomato, or condiments. Also, for a "gourmet" burger it had no flavor, it was a huge disappointment. If you're looking for a place to eat at Sun Valley try BJ's instead.

I used to love getting take out from here when I worked in the mall however that was several years ago. I had less than impressive experiences recently with takeout but decided to check them out again while doing some shopping. My friend and I went in at about 4 on a Wednesday afternoon, not super busy and sat in the bar area. Our server was new and in the process of training which I was fine with. We ordered drinks and they took nearly 30 minutes to come out. During that time no one checked on us or even offered us water. When they finally came out they were disgusting! Mine was a sugar filled mess while my friends was watery and tasteless. We let our server know who then went to grab her trainer. The trainer did not offer an apology but rather made excuses for why we probably didn't like them. In regards to my friends drink she straight up said "We don't have a margarita machine so when we blend it our way it doesn't taste very good" Ummmm why would you keep something on your menu that doesn't taste good?! Besides we weren't upset therefore an excuse was not necessary all we were asking was if we could get something else. Our food took forever but was good, that has never been an issue but at that point we were frustrated tired and starving. All in all it took us nearly 2 hours to have a drink, and a few items from their appetizers menu. Combined with the lackluster service and my other recent experiences, this is not a place a see myself returning to.

I've been to Red Robin a few times and seem to forget about it because it's always so busy and too many kids. Recently I went twice, back to back but in the bar area, much better service on this side! First evening had a server name Misty and the next evening Susan and the service from both was fantastic! Susan is a sweetheart and knows her stuff! Servers always tend to forget the side dressing but not Susan! And, she is straight entertainment! BONUS: Misty was there too and we had double entertainment!!! Going back to the bar for sure!!! But I only want to sit in their sections! They are just so much fun and they are down to earth! Put it this way, I've never tipped a server $20, and we did not order much! The food was delicious too!

Slow service on a slow day!! It shouldn't take 30 minutes for us (2 people) to receive an order on a slow day. Regardless, I come here for the endless fries.

Received great service from our waiter Tia. She was very kind and constantly made sure we were well taken care of. Our food came out delicious like always. I got the barbecue burger ($9.69). The barbecue sauce was more on the sour side and had a strong flavor to it. I prefer mine to not be so overpowering so I didn't really like it that much. The rest of the burger itself was great though. The onion straws were like small onion rings, but they were smaller which meant more outer crispy-ness. It was like the "bacon" for the burger to give it a nice crunch on the inside. Steak fries were nice and crispy on the outside. Make sure you add plenty of their seasoning (found on the table) since it just makes the fries even more tasty. Bottomless steak fries! So even if the burger doesn't fill you, the fries will. When one of us asked for more fries, the server brought all of us own own basket of fries! They didn't take very long to get them either, but that might be just because they weren't very busy at the time. Either way, it was pleasant not waiting for refills on fries. Our server was even kind enough to give us a box to go. Burgers didn't have anything spectacular, but they have a decent burger and great fries (unlimited fries at that).

I love the BBQ whiskey river burger. Don't forget to get a side of honey mustard, it is . Sign up for their frequent visitors card because I always get coupons emailed to me. They're often for $3-5 off and free appetizers.

I only come here because I like their chicken sandwich. The service at this location kinda sucks. Usually they start out friendly enough and bring your beverages fairly quickly. But once you place your order, all of a sudden you are no longer a priority. The food will usually take forever. Sometimes it comes out warm (as if it's been sitting out for a few minutes before being served). And when you ask for anything else like refills, condiments, extra fries, etc., Good Luck! My biggest problem is that when presenting my royalty card, half the time they don't give me credit for my purchase. I find that sitting at the bar you get better service.

One of my favorite burgers is the Banzai teryiaki burger here. I love this delectible marti gras in my mouth! I order extra teryiaki sauce and love dipping the unlimited beefy fries they serve. Most of the time, this place has great service. Today was fantastic as our server, Juan was on it with soda refills before they were even empty and refills on the fries without a hitch! Food was served quickly and was yum, yum, yum!

I ordered the cod fish and I found hair in it. I couldn't wait for them to make it again so I asked for clam chowder. When I got the soup it was so watered down, so I asked them to take it back. Who's gonna eat watery soup? The only positive thing I can say is, they didn't hesitate to take the food back. But where's the inconvenience discount?

Service was very slow. Orders were made wrong and the bottomless fry's never refilled. The sweet potato fry's were cold. Non alcoholic drink took forever to get refilled, This kitchen needs a lot of help.

This was the worst service ever. Our waitress took 15 minutes at least before she took our drink order. Then my husband gets his drinks and mine doesn't come out until after my dinner and our appetizer came out after that! One of the other waitresses brought it up to the manager and he gave us the appetizer for free. This is our first time having bad service here but we probably won't be sitting in the bar area again

So can i start by saying WTF how is this place still open! So first of all we check in with the hostess who is standing there with another girl who is folding and tearing papers? there is abut 25 ppl waiting in line, so we put our name on the list for 2 her response is it would be about 25 mins! I look around and I kid you not there were 12 dirty tables just in the area that i could see! and i counted 6 servers and 4 food runners just on the floor, having been in restaurants my whole life I know that this is WAY more than enough to keep the tables moving. I heard the girl say they only had one busboy, well maybe the now 3 of you at the front could take some initiative and clean some damn tables!!! How is tearing stupid coupons helping anyone! So then i realize that people are just walking in the bar area and sitting down? So i ask her can we sit in the bar? she tells me as long as everyone is 21 (we both look well over 21) ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Maybe when i put my name down you could say HEY THERE IS BAR SEATING, GO AHEAD! WTF NEVER GOING BACK .....Get yourself together Red Robin! Management should be controlling that situation and there was no one taking charge at all!

Lots of burgers to choose from, but I decided on the "burnin' love". It had deep fried jalapeños, salsa, pepper jack cheese, and the typical lettuce and tomatoes. The roll that it came with was good, but i cant recall what kind. I got the meat in medium well done and it was cooked perfectly. It came with bottomless steak fries, which was a bonus. Burger was not bad, but nothing special. I still prefer fuddruckers! *shrugs* My friend got the crispy chicken tender salad. It wasn't anything special. Just seemed like bagged lettuce and cut up fried chicken strips....only bagged lettuce is probably crispier than RR's. heh. Totally something i can throw together and cost me half the price that RR charges. Service was good. Wait staff was attentive. Happy hour and bottomless steak fries are a bonus.

Well, I finally did it. All this talk about eating a one-pound bacon cheeseburger, and I finally did it. Don't know when the last time was when I had one, but now I do. On the other hand, that's like the end of "Arsenic And Old Lace", where a man says, "Wow, I can't remember the last time I had elderberry wine", and the murderous Brewster aunts pour him a glass and say "Well, this is it." The place: Red Robin, Sun Valley Mall. Home of big burgers, with vegan patties if you insist, free refills on fries and soft drinks, coffee with vodka for sale, free burger on your birthday, and Americana posters covering the walls (they even had two from "Seinfeld"). Good for groups after the game, after church, after a movie, after whatever, and if you don't want the bar scene of BJ's, you can come here. The burger was a-okay. I've had better, but I've also had far worse. It came with steak fries, which I cringe at while eating, but their special seasoning made the fries go down better. Not a cheap place, but the burgers are well priced. But after finishing, I still wonder how good Hazel's in Antioch is. Worth a stop by, I guess.

I've since gone to RR twice, and both times were a hit. I had to be fair and give credit where it was due. We gave it another try and went on Veterans Day because they were giving free burgers to those awesome citizens, like my partner, who serve our country. They were super cool, sat us right away, and swiftly brought us our FREE burger and endless fries. They even cut it in half for us because we were sharing. YUM! The final visit took our experience straight to 5 stars! We sat at the bar, and again we were served right away! Awesome. We again shared a burger and bottomless fry. Again they cut it in half, but they put the "sauce" which is basically 1000 island yuck! The nice young waiter apologized profusely and brought out a new fresh burger cut in 1/2 and hot fries to accompany it. Yum AGAIN! THE BEST PART WAS THAT THE MANAGER (LONG HAIR WHITE GUY, KINDA THIN, DAY SHIFT) TOOK $5 OFF FOR THE SAUCE FIASCO WITHOUT US ASKING!! 5 STARS. Customer service has gotten poor over the years, but this manager reminded us what to expect from the "service industry"... GREAT SERVICE!

I go to this red robin all the time when I'm in the area. I really love their food. Always hits the spot when I'm craving for a good burger. This time I was very disappointed. Our waitress was very attentive and polite, but we were waiting for our food for over 30 minutes. I asked our waitress if she could check on our order and she said she would. Waited another 15 minutes and still no response. It was 2pm in the afternoon and the restaurant was not busy at all. I mean 45 minutes and no food on a slow time during the day?! I've never walked out from a table before and today was the first. I left upset and hungry...more like hangry. Come on red robin step it up.

This review is for service only. The service here is terrible from what I experienced as a first timer tonight. Very slow during the meal, and as we try to pay, they say our gift card has a zero balance. We call the number on the card and there is plenty of money. Our server tries once more and still nothing, so we ask for the manager. He tries once, and we explain to him that there's money on it, but the server is having trouble. He says he can't help us any further. So we call the number back and try to show him there is a balance, and he walks away. Extremely rude, so we walk up to him and try and show him and he walks away again. This has been about 30 minutes of trying to pay and leave. Finally another server by the name of Alberto was very kind and asks us if he can help us. We explain the situation to him, it takes him less than 30 seconds to swipe the card and cash it out for us. Very kind and understanding. However the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not be returning. Thank you Alberto for being the only professional.

I will not return to this location ever again. I just walked out after wasting 45 minutes to get nothing more than two waters. After being handed our menus from the hostess and being told to sit wherever (wtf?) we received beyond slow service from the responsible waitress. It took about 15 minutes just to get the waters and order. Then the waiting began. Others were seated properly around our area and were served immediately and even received food, yet ours never came out. We got up and started to leave. Saw the waitress and she didn't even seem to novice. Walked past the kitchen and saw a ton of food waiting to go out and others waiting. WTH was that all about? Did they not have anyone to run the food out? It sure seemed like they did with all the employee standing around looking useless. I guess this will just end up as another shitty restaurant at sunvalley mall.

I think they have one of the best burgers next to Barney's in Oakland or Val's in Hayward. Endless steak fries (or sweet potato at an extra cost) and yummy juicy burgers. My all time favorites for the last 18 years are the Mushroom & Swiss and the Banzai Burger! Cost for each is about $9.50. If you're a regular, get their Red Robin Royalty Card...for ur b-day you get a free burger and simply registering you get a free appetizer (as of last month) 4 stars for the food, 5 stars for our waitress Maria....she was awesome...attentive, friendly and definitely a rarity when it comes to excellent customer service. THANKS Maria!

For a quick meal, Red Robin is a great choice. Their open seating in the bar area is convenient on a weekend night and there are lots of televisions to choose from to watch. The service has always been friendly and the food is good. Overall, good value for your money and the mall is just steps away.

Burgers

Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.

Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
