They only have dollar scoops on 4 flavors now...WTH doesn't matter cause the regular price for one scoop on everything else is a buck fifty. That's not too bad... if only the cakes weren't so expensive I'd probably buy one every week. but then i'd also be morbidly obese. damn. the conflict.

$1 still can buy a lot of things these days: * One song at the tip rail at a strip joint * A pissed off look from a valet * A fried chicken sandwich from McDonalds that really isn't chicken * Your very own seat on Sunday at Golden Gate Fields * A smile from a drunk homeless guy who just pissed his pants * A day old Specialty's cookie * Attention from the bartender who still thinks you're a cheap ass * The up and coming musician hawking his crappy hip hop CD on the street * The "hot" DVD's some guy is trying to unload on me in a Safeway parking lot * 1 scoop of pure bliss at Baskin Robbins (this location only!) Somehow I don't get the same reaction when I give my wife $1. She wonders where the zeroes are. [I know ... think about it]

  • Iris N.

I agree with the prior reviews... I just had to add my two cents! :P I got so use to the $1 scoops here, that when I go to other Baskin Robbins I forget... and how I feel so bummed. "doh!" Great way to end lunch or happy hour with the gals...

    (5)
  • Rosanne P.

The dollar scoops have increased! It now costs $1.50 per scoop. Oh well, I will still pay buck fifty for a scoop.

    (3)
  • Paul S.

Now they are $1.50 single scoops.... :( But still a great bargain in downtown Concord.

This is the best deal in all the Baskin-Robbins I have been to. $1 per scoop, including the cone! Such a deal! This B&R is on the corner of Grant street, in downtown Concord, across from the the main square called Todos Santos Plaza. Therefore, in the summertime, this place is packed! It is long and narrow, and usually has 4 or 5 scoopers working the line. The store has a breezeway next to it, so you can get your dollar cone and you don't have to fight your way back out through the crowd; you simply step out into the walkway adjoining the store straight back out to the square, licking your cone all the way! The only problem is sometimes finding parking near this place can be challenging, it gets that crowded! Especially when the farmer's market is being held on the plaza. Something relatively new at B&R: Chocolate or colored sprinkles covered cones. Our favorite flavors out of the 31: Jamocha or Mint Chocolate Chip.

do not go to this ice cream store! they will steal from you and then charge you for it!

  • Geovanny S.

Have to say this is my favorite place to go for an ice cream cone with one or two scoops. They offer the best ice cream flavors and value around with low everyday prices on all flavors: $1.50 first scoop! Very popular place, across from Todos Santos Plaza in Concord, often with a long line out the door but which always moves fast. Great BR ice cream. Worth checking out.

$1 Ice Cream cones is a blessing in this day, Lets my kids have the same exceitement I had as a child going to pick out an ice cream cone at the local BR.

I have mixed feelings coming here--but generally good. Baskin-Robbins has always been one of my favorites. You see, I used to work here in high school, well, at the Baskin Robbins store that used to be across the way in the brown buildings in Todos Santos Plaza. I also worked there in the summer, which was probably the dumbest thing I could have done; it was busy! The owners (at the time I worked) were different and stingy. I don't think they would serve $1 scoops all of the time. Especially as these are a reasonable size--NOT the Junior size. Given the small space and popularity of this shop, they do really well with crowd management. You get your ice cream quick and can find a seat outside. Definitely a bonus to living in Concord!

  • Michelle B.

I just had to give this place 5 stars. You really can't beat the $1 scoop. Due to the awesome value, esp on hot days, the lines can be a bit long, but I've never been in line for more than 5 minutes. Well worth the money.

  • Mark C.

Went for a walk in our favorite park today, Todos Santos in downtown, of course it was a great day for ice cream so we went to Baskin Robbins. I love the smell walking in there and kids love to pick and choose their favorite flavors. We were adventurous and chose two scoops, we each got two different flavors. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, giving us samples and suggesting flavors. It is small and got a little crowded, but overall we were in and out in a matter of minutes.

Been coming here since I was a little kid! Great service, friendly faces, a cool comic shop next door, and still the best ice cream!

  • linda l.

The cheapest way to put a smile on my childs face is to buy him a scoop of chocolate chip mint ice cream from Concord's only Baskin Robbins. It's been hotter than heck here in Concord this summer and this delightful value has become a daily ritual for my family and I. I like to joke that one dollar ice cream is the reason why I moved to Concord. ( i'm beginning to think it's true.) I don't care how long the line is in the sticky heat, it's worth the wait! :)

    (5)
  • Val B.

Love this place. Pistacio alomond all the way baby. $1 - $1.50 scoops all day every day!

    (5)
  • Kevin H.

Yeah yeah its not "Gelato" but who cares! =P $1 scoops and 31 flavors is pretty hard to beat Taqueria Los Gallos is right next door too! Awesome for cheap!

    (5)
  • RICHARD A.

Fast & Quick service, cheap Ice Cream, and Delisous blended drinks and YES they do ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS!!! I hardley ever carry cash.

    (5)
  • Daniel S.

*** DOLLAR SCOOP AT ALL TIMES *** It's Baskin Robbins ice cream, so it isn't extraordinary. But such a deal! It's an excellent accompaniment to Taqueria Los Gallos next door.

  • Jason D.

Living three blocks away from a scoop of $1 ice cream will be the reason I will gain 15lbs. this summer. You're on my list Baskin Robbins.

    (5)
  • Kymberli C.

Their $1.00 scoops definitely scores them 5 stars! :) I love their mint chip because its not really chips and its the chocolate flakey kinda chips... and the chocolate ice cream with truffles is to die for!!! I forget its name but it has pieces of chocolate truffles in it... soooo good!!!

  • Em C.

Thanks to my co-worker, I have been introduced to the $1 ice cream scoop. No mater that it was raining, a sweet scoop of oreo cookies and cream on a regular cone made my day. My only question is, are there really 31 different flavors? I spotted my flavor in the far cooler, except the lady pulled it out of the middle cooler... which leads me to believe the flavors repeat and there aren't 31.

    (5)
  • colie g.

This is the Baskin Robbins on Todos Santos Plaza, and they have every flavor at $1.50 a scoop. They used to have them at $1.00 a scoop- and I get that its hard to make money these days, but the .50cents seriously cuts down on the visits we make. Also, I never see a "manager" so to speak, but the people don't seem to be treated very well that work there (or the naturally unhappy manager hires other regularly unhappy people?). I guess since I am paying a bit more, my point is I'd like to see them a bit happier?! There is always a line and then when its your turn the person making your cone stares longingly out the window... just sort of depressing for an ice crem store.

    (3)
  • Lindsey O.

$1 scoop. Everyday. You've got my vote!

    (5)
  • David S.

This is a BR of contrasts, it is in a great location, esp if you are going to another good place like Suwa or the OSF. It has the most reasonable priceing for single cones of ANY Ice Cream chain! However it is a dump, it is crowded, hot in the summer, cold in the winter. There are no bathrooms and parking is a joke. The store does not have the nicest looking BR equipment and the pricing on everything else is the same extreme as other BR shops. So of course I still go there, but just dont expect much except for OK ice cream (there is better, but you have to drive a long way!)

    (4)
  • Rigo B.

This is how all business transactions should be. You have a dollar? You got a cone. You don't need 99 cents or $1.09, just a dollar, and screw the receipt. No change necessary or given. It's as close as we'll get to the days when a cone cost a nickel. Not even RiteAid/Thrify's sells cones for less than a dollar anymore. I was hoping this was a company wide promotion, but back home all the B&R's here in Riverside sit like ghost towns with their $3 scoops. This seems like a franchisee deal only in Todos Santos plaza. There's nothing special about the ice cream, it's tasty and delciious and what you'd expect from B&R. Thankfully it's simpler and cleaner tasting than the more expensive and overwhelming in sugar Coldstone nearby. But the owners have hit a major sweet spot in pricing with the dollar cone.

    (5)
  • Jay L.

The 1.50 scoops can't be beat, and I'm a multi-scoop girl. One scoop of strawberry, one of cookies and cream, and one Oreo cookie scoop with two spoons to share with my son makes my day. There is outside seating, but with Todos Santos Park directly across the street all you need is your ice cream and a blanket to sit on, and it's all good.

    (5)
  • Lupe M.

I believe the Baskin-Robbins situated on Grant Street (Todos Santos Plaza) in Concord, CA is the first Baskin-Robbins where I have purchased a single scoop of ice cream for $1.00! And let me point out that it is a very generous scoop of ice cream at that! You also have a choice of a waffle or a sugar cone. Unfortunately, this is not a company-wide campaign.

  • Sean M.

Long time fan of B-R, dating back to my days in the Navy when I could eat a large pizza by myself and walk literally next door to a Baskins Robbins, order a banana split with my own flavors and not get sick. I wish I had that ability now-haha. Also, I liked the place in downtown Concord, would always stop by after going to the bookstore. My all time favorite flavor and please, no booing, was black licorice ice cream which I would get with a scoop of orange sherbert, hmmmmmm good. Okay, now you can boo and tell me how gross that ice cream is. haha

    (4)
  • Ronald N.

small decent location. you surely can't beat a better ice cream place compare to baskin robbins. it hard to find one in the bay area.

    (4)
  • Maya W.

$1 per scoop. Enough said. Every other detail is irrelevant.

    (5)
  • Katie I.

Absolutely love the $1 scoops! My roommate and I can always count on this place for good ice cream and fast service. I've had nothing to complain about! :)

    (5)
  • Old School Yelper Y.

Their $1 for a scoop of ice cream deal is ruining my diet...but there's nothing like a Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream on a hot, summer night!

    (5)
  • Rachel B.

$1 scoops every day and night, in and out in 5 minutes no matter how long the line.

    (5)
  • Joe C.

$1 ice cream cones. 'Nuff Said.

  • Candace C.

life does not get much better than HUGE $1 scoops of ice cream on a beautiful summer day... at 3 pm when you are supposed to be working. wait it does. getting two scoops =) yes life is amazing.

  • .James A.

Hey it's a buck for a generous scoop, LOVE IT!

  • jean l.

What can I say? I've loved this ice cream forever. I highly recommend it.

    (4)
  • James H.

+1 on $1 scoops! The only caveat here is the service can be meh, and the line is sometimes a little long... Well worth if for a tasty scoop on a hot summer day...just the right size and 31 flavors to choose from.

    (4)
  • Ranier S.

$1 scoop ice cream cone with a great selection....damn, I am craving for one right now...lol

    (5)
  • Honest O.

The owners John & Needa are so nice! $1 scoops every day. I reccomend cookie dough or tax cruch, which is seasonal (how sad).

  • Melissa C.

Ever since last year's launch of Bananas Foster, I have been looking all over for it. I emailed HQ and they directed me to call our local Baskin Robbins locations. I learned that it was a seasonal spring flavor. I called three different locations in the Concord / Clayton area and requested the flavor as soon as they see it on the order form. The only one who went above and beyond in addressing my request was Juan, the manager. He took my number and mentioned he will call me if it is able to be ordered and when it comes in. He made my day on Friday when he said it has arrived at the Todos Santos and Pittsburg locations. I am super impressed with his level of follow through. I hope that it becomes a year round flavor. I am not much of an ice cream person. Bananas foster made me a huge fan of Baskin Robbins and Juan made me a lifetime customer because of his service. Thank you.

Big sigh . . . Next week is Halloween, which means that not only is summer long over, but the hot weather is gone and the weatherman is talking about rain in a few days. So ice cream season is almost over . . . Not that this will stop my ice-cream-loving family from coming here. Especially on Tuesday nights, is it now $1 or $1.50? My school-age daughter likes the flavor named after one of her favorite girls, Strawberry Shortcake. I'm giving it one star because they don't have garlic flavor . . . wait, that's not fair . . . Baskin Robbins is a good diet buster. Its famous 31 flavors, inviting atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating, and location across from Todos Santos Plaza, make it a place to stop "just this once." Then the dieter stops in again tomorrow, "it won't hurt." Next day, "this will be dessert after the Hot Dog Palace." Next day, "what diet?" It's what you expect an ice cream parlor to be, at pretty good prices.

    (4)
  • Shane C.

31 flavors plus soft serve???? What more can you ask for in an ice cream place? Staff is always friendly store is always clean.

    (4)
  • Maurice D.

Ok ok I'm pissed. I've been here a few times and every time I order a Sunday or a Specialty ice cream creation they blow it. It's no where looking like the poster and it has only about half the ice cream that should be there. Stick with the milkshakes that way you only get ripped off a little and not a lot.

    (1)
  • Emily J.

Always super nice, even when I am taking FOR-EV-ER to decide on my scoop flavor. Great deal for great ice cream.

    (4)
  • Jessica K.

The only good thing about this place is the ice cream and their speed of service everything else sucked. The employees looked irritated with each customer and you could tell all they cared about was getting the 15 people in line out the door and out of their face. I had no time to look at the menu, try any samples or ask any questions because I was so rushed. The place was not clean, the floor was gross and had sample spoons everywhere.

    (3)
  • Vanessa P.

The girl who helped me just stared at me and didn't ask what I wanted didn't even acknowledge what I said. Just went and made it. Didn't even ask if I wanted to try any thing. Bad experience here.

Great weekend outing with the family. With the park across the street you can grab a sweet treat and head across the street to enjoy it!

    (4)
  • Terri N.

A good friend of mine always says it isn't good ice cream if you can't chew it - which I thought was insanity, until I thought about it and realized how right she was. Get ready to chew!! While they no longer offer the famous Dollar Scoop, their prices are still great! Always busy at night, especially during the summer months when people hang out in Todos Santos to enjoy the park and free shows, but they have a great system for getting people through the line and out quickly. And besides who doesn't love B&R/31 Flavors! This place always rocks. Most recently I tried their Oreo n' Chocolate, cookies n' cream with chocolate ice cream. UNREAL. I also love their Gold Medal Ribbon and World Class Chocolate, those 2 make a killer 2 scoop sundae. And you can never go wrong with their epic ice cream cakes, or a clown for when your inner child needs a little love. :)

    (5)
  • Priscilla A.

Although there staff isn't very friendly, they are quite quick. I miss their 1$ scoops! That extra fifty cents just kills me every time. I sound cheap, I know , but I know some of you miss it too!

    (4)
  • Jasmine B.

Not satisfied. Wanted to bring my daughter for a treat, and I was craving a fudge sundae. When we arrived, first thing i noticed was the filthy trashcan and tables outside, the door wasn't clean, and the inside was a bit cleaner. Besides being turned off by the uncleanliness, the staff was pretty friendly and attentive. Im not sure if the young girl who helped me was just new and didnt know how to portion a sundae, or if she just didnt care. But when i pay for a hot fudge sundae, i want a hot fudge sundae. She got my two scoops right, but when it came to the toppings, it was a disaster... There was about one dry, cold drop of fudge on a double scoop sundae. I was craving the fudge. Big disappointment. Then the whipped cream...hardly any... Then she skimped me on the additional m&ms i paid for...like seriously. I had to ask her if that was all i got? She said yes, and i kindly asked if i could pay for another extra scoop. She added some more. Now its enough...great.... I just wasnt satisfied with the lack of fudge and having to pay for extra m&ms knowing that she should have given me enough without having to pay for extra.... She either needs to be trained on portions or give a little more care to detail when making these sundaes. Customers pay for what they want, and paying for a fudge sundae and being skimped on everything and having to pay extra and still not being satisfied is highly disappointing. The dirty store didnt help.

Very bad customer service, I wish I can give negative stars. ordered a birthday cake for my daughter and pay off for the cake thru phone. On the birthday date went pickup, they didn't make the cake. The lady who took my order lied that I didn't pay & that's why the cake was not made. The manager said he doesn't know who to trust. forgot to make cake - really bad, lied - even worse, manager didn't handle it correctly-the worst!!

    (1)
  • Jason G.

It's old school baby, been around for a while and still serving up great ice cream and of course lots of flavor choices. I went for the salted caramel because I'm pretty much a caramel freak.

    (3)
  • Alex G.

This place is dirty - walked in and the staff was busy with their friends; not even a nod in our direction for the first 5 minutes. As I looked around, I got the impression that the place just wasn't clean. I don't know if it was the young staff who clearly didn't care or the lighting, but I was more and more uncomfortable the longer we stood there. We ultimately didn't order anything and walked out. We won't be going back.

    (1)
  • kumar k.

Did a take out of dulce de liche and pistachio almond flavors today. Loved them both!

    (4)
  • Amanda N.

If I could give this place zero stars, i definitely would. We went in the evening, and there were a bunch of guys loitering outside and staring at me when we walked in. Then when we were waiting in line, the people who worked there were all speaking spanish and helping their friends. The whole place felt dirty, and we prompty left without ordering anything. I will never go back here.

    (1)
  • Nancy G.

Great ice cream flavors! However, the deal they offer on yelp, I purchased it and try to use it, they said it did not work there. It just didn't make sense to me when I looked up this location and purchased the offer specifically for this location. It was a hassle to get my refund back from yelp.

Let me tell you how my visit to Baskin Robbins went from "WE'RE ALWAYS GOING TO THIS BASKIN ROBBINS FROM NOW ON" to "I'M TOTALLY GOING TO SUE THIS COMPANY" My cousin drove my loverman and I to get froyo at this place we went to last year. I mean my loverman and I walked and she drove and met us there from Happy Roll. Haha. The froyo place was no where to be found though! Then we just sat in her car and people watched until we figured out what to do. She told us there was a Baskin Robbins near by so my loverman called them to see if they were still open. Then she drove there and we arrive to the jankiest Baskin Robbins I've ever seen. It looked like a counterfeit Baskin Robbins. Haha. I'm really surprised at how cheap the ice cream is though! Only $1.50! Also they gave us the biggest scoops of ice cream I've ever seen! I got some almond flavored ice cream and my loverman got the strawberry cheesecake flavor. We're sitting down, having a ball, and all of a sudden I see a hair in my ice cream. I, TIFFANY! VAN, HAS FOUND ANOTHER HAIR IN HER FOOD, MAKING IT OCCURRENCE #679. I told one of the employees and he was like "what? you don't want it anymore?" He wasn't even going to offer me a new one or a refund or anything! WHAT THE FUCK. I asked for a refund and he said he couldn't give me one and my loverman asked if he could give us a new ice cream instead and they obliged. I was so pissed. It took all I had to not scream out THERES HAIR IN THEIR ICE CREAM! DO NOT EAT HERE to all the customers. I am very surprised at myself for not doing so. I ended up getting a new scoop of Mango ice cream. Homph. Homph. Homph. As I was eating it, I was totally paranoid there would be another hair in it. It reminds me of the time I drank hot chocolate with a million ants in it and I called Nestle to complain and they gave me coupons for free hot chocolate. WHY WOULD I EVER WANT MORE HOT CHOCOLATE AFTER THAT. Then I had to throw half of it away as I reached BART anyhow. Whatever. I'll be back since I'm a fatass and they have the best ice cream deal I've ever seen. You win this round Baskin Robbins.

I ordered a birthday cake 5 days ago online to be picked up at this location at 3:30 today. When I walked into the store to get my cake, they seemed confused. I showed them my confirmation number, payment card and confirmed the location 3 times. After 20 minutes, one of the employees say, "Sorry we don't have your cake." I asked to speak to the manager who she then handed me her cell phone as she can not give out the managers information. I spoke with him and he said, "I am sorry the internet sometimes does not work." As a manager, if you make a mistake you try to make it right! I understand things happen as I am also in the service industry but take care of your customers and admit when you make a mistake! I was forced to show up to a birthday party, late and with out the cake. Sad.

  • Glenn L.

Scored the ice cream cake for my daughter's B-day party here (we had the party around the corner at Q-Zar). Cake was fine - devils food cake and strawberry ice cream. They did some custom decorating and were very helpful in getting the order placed quickly. Pickup was easy as can be.

  • M. K.

I went here on a summer Sunday and wished I had not. The store is extremely small with very limited seating. There was a line out to the sidewalk and the wait was long. After getting our ice cream, it didn't satisfy my craving. I would have much rather gone to Yogurtland or the other yogurt shop on the other side of Todos Santos Plaza where the flavor is better and the prices are cheaper. At both of those places, there is never a crowd and the dessert is extremely satisfying. I will most likely not return to Baskin Robbins and get my ice cream fix elsewhere.

    (2)
  • Kat C.

This place seems to always be crawling with teenagers and ppl who push and stand really close to you in line but the staff is quick and gets the line moving! Got a quart of jamocha almond fudge and they packed it in nice and cozy ($5.79). Appreciate! :)

    (4)
  • Matt L.

Best Baskin Robbins in the Bay Area when it comes to price. They are HALF the price of all the other local Baskin Robbins. World Class Chocolate is my go to flavor but you can't go wrong with many of them. I LOVE Ice Cream Cake. If it ran for Mayor of Concord, I would vote for Ice Cream Cake.

    (5)
  • Dominique M.

I took my lil bros and sis here a month ago when in town and something has changed about B.b. not for the good either. Hey, I guess once you go Persian (ice cream) you don't do back.

    (3)
  • Tiffany N.

BR usually hits the spot when I'm having an insatiable ice cream craving, but all in all their ice cream is average. I doubt I would give any BR more than 3 stars unless they had overwhelmingly great customer service. I am giving this location 1 star because it was really dirty when I was there and the space is way too small. The long narrow space doesn't work well for a place that gets jam packed on a hot day.

    (1)
  • Paul T.

If you don't like paying $1.50 for a scoop of ice cream that you can eat in Todos Santos Plaza, then you might not have a soul. Also, if you don't have a soul, then this place isn't for you. The End.

    (4)
  • Eric B.

Gayle and I stopped here yesterday with my son and her granddaughter in tow. We had previously been to Pixieland in Concord and on this very hot day, a nice ice cream cone (or cup) was in order. The $1 scoop is now only available in selected flavours, with the rest being priced at $1.50. That is still a heck of deal. Service was also fairly quick and parking was relatively easy. And with Todo Santos Plaza across the street, it was nice to hang out in the shade.

    (4)
  • Natalie J.

Hecks to the YEAH!!! Just ate a giant 2 scoop cone full of goodness yesterday! So delicious!! Nothing like the old school flavors...

  • Jay B.

Went here with my niece and nephew. It was pretty busy when we arrived. This was my first time at this location so I was not familiar where the line started. Luckily my niece and nephew were regulars here. They ended up entering through the doors next to the shop that lead to another door. There was no set "order" line so it was every woman/man for himself to place your order. If there is a lot of people the workers here rush you to place your order. Otherwise, they are pretty friendly. Parking sucks, good luck ;)

    (2)
  • Vicky L.

my milkshake was super runny. The poor guy who helped me (who was probably a new trainee) made the shake TWICE, with the same result. Best to stick with a cone instead. *sighs*

  • Jeremy J.

I dislike giving such a low rating and I love the quality of Baskin Robbins ice cream and I typically go to this location to buy it because of the great access to Todos Santos park and proximity to my house; however, I have been disappointed in the service. Generally, I am happy if you smile and serve me what I am looking for especially if it is delicious which BR always is. The variety is unbeatable. The service lacks a smile at this location. The workers just don't seem to be excited about scooping ice cream. I know that isn't on the top of my list of things I want to do - I would rather be eating it, but I feel like when you are paid to do a job at least make it a good experience for everyone. I have had some uncomfortable moments there as I have seen some of the workers bad mouthing other workers for taking too long of breaks or once even reprimanding an employee for not being where they were supposed to be. The discipline should happen but not in front of everyone in the store. If I saw the service improve in these areas I would definitely rate them higher. The ice cream product of the transaction is consistently awesome although I do miss the dollar scoops. Despite some gripes from me, they still get my hard earned dollar.

    (3)
  • Meg W.

Me & Jack will bring the kids here for a treat - $1 cups of ice cream! Seriously, It's just enough to satisfy a wee one, and more than enough for an adult who shouldn't have any in the first place. The place is always packed - lots of young families with little ones scoring on dollar cups (or cone - you choose.) OMG - they have Cake Batter. Done. Then we sit in Todos Santos Square and people watch - what a show!

    (4)
  • Rommel M.

If you are in the mood for ice cream, go Here! $1 kid's scoops and &1.50 for regular scoops are a steal! Cappuccino Blasts are Awesome if you need a recharge! I've been going here for years and they are always the best taste/deal around for dessert. My daughter loves this place and goes to the playground across the street afterwards.

the place is small, but the Ice cream is good. Also the staff is very friendly, just minus one star for parking around the location.

Talk about a tight squeeze! When this Baskin Robbins gets packed its pretty hard to exit considering the multitude of children swarming the small store and the parents with strollers blocking the all ready small isle. The current employees are pretty fast though and they're nice. The ice cream and cappuccino blasts were as good as always.

One dollar scoops. Sure we can stop for ice cream. Tonight...and every night if you want.

Ahhh, Baskin Robbins! I haven't been to one of these ice cream shops in so long. The line was out the door of this small shop when we walked up, but the employees worked quickly. BR seems to be hopping on the experimental flavor band wagon with some new and interesting flavors. Me? Just a scoop of Rocky Road, please. In a sugar cone. Very satisfying.

A scoop for $1.50 and a walk around the park is how I love to spend a warm summer evening. So why minus two stars you ask? Location! Baskin Robbins is to big for its digs. It is always so crowded that you can't even go check out all the flavors because there is people in the way. Grrrr! So when I go here I stick to the same old staples.
