Okay, I stopped by here.. and tried their Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Cone & the Lemonade Strawberry..... Keep in mind that I was eating a bunch of chocolate as we were arriving here.... now the ice cream cone was okay... I couldn't really taste the sweetness (I'm guessing because my tongue was already coated with so much sugar from the chocolate I was eating)... but OH MY, the lemonade was sweet. It was sooo sweet.. that I could taste the sweetness and have it overpower my mouth... I can't imagine what it would have tasted like if my mouth wasn't already full of sugar! I haven't tried anything else here before... so I can't say much about anything else~

I always get their chicken club basket!! I love their chicken and the sauces are great!!! I also recently tried an Orange Julius from here and it was AMAZEBALLS!!! Will definitely be coming back!!

The chocolate-dipped vanilla cone is to die for! 2 for $3 doesn't break the bank either! ...this DQ is in a sketchier part of town which results in a more "creative" type of clientele...

I liked the cheeseburger, and the onion rings were pretty good. The nieces were not completely happy with their meals. It was the Blizzard's birthday, and Miss Outstanding Teen California was there to promote some charity collection going on. She was nice and signed a couple of 3x5 head shots for the nieces.

Located across the street from Coach's we went here for some cheaper food after Pacquiao knocked Hatton the f*ck out in less than 6 minutes. Ended up only ordering an Oreo Brownie Earthquake Sundae. And for $4.39 + tax, I was hoping that it wouldn't take me just around 2 minutes to finish that sundae. Weak sauce. I think Foster Freeze gets the edge over Dairy Queen from me.

The burgers here were delicious! I was expecting less from an ice cream parlor. Color me surprised! I actually didn't even get any ice cream because I was so full from the burger and fries but I guess that just means I have to come back!

If you're in the area, and you're tired of the usual fast food, go here. As one of the few Dairy Queens in the area, that I know of, they keep the franchise standard high! Stay for desert!

  • Hellokitty K.

I saw the word DAIRY queen and thought that the milk they'd have would be something out of the ordinary.... Well, it was, but on the negative side.... It was the most watery milk I've ever seen in my life. I think they're better known for their desserts. The chicken sandwich was just OK.

Who doesn't like Dairy Queen? Hot eats and cool treats, people! YUMMMMAYY They're open til 10, too, and later on weekends, so you have time to fill your craving : )

Blizzards are the best dessert around, so many options but the waffle cone kicks ass too =) Burgers are good but the desserts are the way to go. Next on my list are the cakes they offer.

A little over staffed when i came in. Grilled chicken sandwhich was alright. not that great. A grape arctic rush drink was damn good. Real thick soft serve, this doesnt compare to Great America's soft serve where it wont hold on you and you keep going back to the place where you bought it to get another one. Real big dessert menu! Different varieties..

My kids love this place, the best chicken strips ever and awesome icecream cakes, it's nice to go to a Old Fashioned burger place once in a while, instead of your standard, fast food restaurants, oh and they have great CharBroiled hamburgers.

opens up at 1030am i didn't get any of the ice cream but i will next time, the onion rings and burger was pretty good. But i think this place specializes in frosty treats. Also very close to my work literally 3 min away.

DQ- every body's favorite small town grease spot. My favorite DQ menu item is the chicken strips basket. It comes with a a little tub of country gravy sauce, and a piece of Texas toast to sop it up with. And who doesn't love a Blizzard- or a peanut parfait? I buy a box of Star kiss pops, and chocolate Dilly bars every summer. They make me feel like a kid again!

This place looks like it's been here way too long. They're specialty is sweet ice cream stuff. A bunch of different ice creams, from soft serve to ice cream scoops in cups. They also have these slushie drinks that taste alot like Kool Aid. The burgers aren't that bad. I had ordered a double cheese burger, onion rings, and the mushroom burger. The burgers were pretty dope and the onion rings were fresh. I just wish these guys had a bigger variety of burgers and things like that.

CHEAP AND GOOD. I just wish it was closer to home.

Ummm it's dairy queen and amazing and old school. It makes me happy to have places like this still around. A chocolate dipped cone or Georgia mud fudge blizzard on a nice summer night you know that brings you back to being a kid in the 80's. Nice friendly staff here too.

We enjoy a good ice cream from time to time and since this place is down the street from us, we find is convenient for us to get that good ice cream. They have a wide verity of items on the menu, but since we generally have the ice cream, I can not honestly make a comment on the food. The service we have received has been good, nothing to write home about but enough to write here about.

I finally made it to a Dairy Queen!! I never been to one before and all of a sudden I became almost obsessed with the idea of having a dipped cone from DQ. My DB been meaning to take me to a DQ, so he took me on Saturday. Since I had such a huge late lunch, my medium dipped cone became my dinner meal. LOL. OOOH it was soooooooo good. Too bad I ate it so fast. I was so content eating my dipped cone outside. I think I hardly said a word to my DB. haha It was heaven and I am FINALLY DQ devirginized! I'll be back!

    (4)
  • Katrina M.

Well first off it's way too hott inside of dq but I love their food. And there is not bathroom inside I hate outdoor bathrooms because they are disgusting. The girl that helped us didn't look too friendly so it was an uncomfortable experience

  • Richard G.

Chicken strips w/country gravey and a side of texas toast. mmmmmmmmm. Oh yeah they have a very nice desseet menu as well. Food is made to order and are very quick when making it as well. Since this is the only Dairy Queen in the area, I will be back for more!

  • Paul S.

Its a DQ. What do you expect? Here, you get a good old taste of youth with nice soft serve ice cream, and a pretty good burger. It's nothing to rave about, but its good stuff and filling for sure. The prices are actually pretty good, as long as you play it smart and don't add on a bunch of little items. Stick to the meal deals. In the end, it really is about the simple pleasure of a chocolate dipped swirl cone. Yum!

  • Donna Z.

What's a Dairy Queen Brazier? Isn't that a bra? ANYWAY... Little lunch spot with burgers that actually taste freshly made with real BEEF! (Unlike McDonald's)... Curly fries are too salty, and the service could have been faster... But then again, they actually cook the burgers on a grill, possibly accounting for the extra 5 minutes or so. I don't plan on coming here often, but for a burger joint, the quality is difficult to beat...and the desserts are amazing!

    (3)
  • Brian D.

Old school 60's style kind of place and crowd-love that feel. The burgers are cheap and surprisingly good! I think the ice cream cones chocolate covered are the staple here but they have elaborate DQ cakes you can buy for birthdays, graduation and other notable occasions. This really is an old time ice cream place and you can tell has been going strong in Campbell for decades,it's a lot of the kind of feel you get in Clarke's or Kirks burger places around the south bay!

Indifferent service and the smallest soft drinks I've ever seen, and lacking in fizz as well.

I went here the other day because I was starving and needed something quick to eat before work. I wanted a chicken flamethrower sandwich which I didn't see on the menu but the guy said they could still make it. I got my order and left to head over to my job and I open the bag and there were 4 very small pieces of chicken strips in it and to my disbelief, there was a piece of toast that came along with it. Seriously??? I was really disappointed but didn't feel like driving all the way back to DQ. This place is way too expensive for fast food anyway and I will not be back anytime soon.

  • Grissette V.

This is the only Dairy Queen I know in the San Jose area. Dairy Queen is the best for chocolate dipped ice cream cones and for their burgers and fries. They aren't too expensive if you go by the any 2, 3 or 4 menu for one price. The place does need a little renovation but I rather eat there than eat at Burger King. The staff there were very nice.

I have been coming here since 1967! And now, I take my grandchildren here! Although a small vanilla cone is still my favourite, we also enjoy the small Blizzards, small sundaes and the dipped cones. Above all, there is always a large variety; and I like that they post the whole menu with all the calories listed on the window where all can see it!

Sometimes you just need a dirty dinner, and sometimes that dirty dinner craving brings you back to the ol' DQ. I'm a big fan of the corn dogs, I suppose I could make them at home via oven & foster farms, but getting them deep fried at an actual place is always better (and ever since the nearest hot dog on a stick went bye-bye I've had to find an adequate replacement). In all honesty I rarely stop by for a hotdog. The real gems are the blizzards and dipped cones, which I've had more frequently than I'd actually like to mention here. This particular location always seems to be slammed, and on a recent trip the beau and I were pleased to discover they're actually still making old fashioned malts (Milkshake stores of America, where has the malt gone!?). You know you want a dipped cone right now.

  • Jennifer N.

Wait, what? They still have Dairy Queens that serve food? This one does apparently... Wanting something sweet after dinner in Saratoga, this DQ location came up as I searched for ice cream options on the way home. Located right on Winchester, it's the most hopping I've ever seen at a Dairy Queen. I was genuinely surprised at how many people were there ordering burgers and fries and eating dinner there! Small lot that was full when we arrived but easily found a place to park on a side street. I don't go to DQ often but I always know what to expect and their vanilla soft serve is pretty deliciously reliable. I got my cone, my boyfriend got a Peanut Buster Parfait and we were happy and content to be eating ice cream in a comfy booth. Solid location and good to know it's an option for frozen treats in this area.

We're first timers and I've got to say it was the best first time ;) My boyfriend and the girls are satisfied, I'm satisfied. Mos def coming back. Only wish there were more locations!

Loves me some Dairy Queen! I grew up on DQ in Oregon, so I'm happy that there is a SJ location. Things that are good at the DQ: sundaes, banana splits, blizzards, fries, chicken basket, flame grilled burgers. Mud pie blizzard, since this special flavor was introduced in the early 90's its the only blizzard I ever get. It's long since been removed from the Menu, but is now and will forever be within the secret menu. Mud pie blizzard = oreo blizzard + coffee concentrate + fudge = mocha-y oreo blizzard, how now brown cow, what's not to love?

    (4)
  • Allaine R.

They couldn't make my mud pie blizzard so sad I ordered brownie batter instead. I hope it's good as mud pie

I ate here on Sunday and I ordered their Chicken Strips basket with Fries and I loved it! The Chicken strips were plump, Crispy, piping hot and filling and the Fries were fried just right to a golden brown color...the 2 glasses of soda I had from their modern soda machine was great too,not watered down and tasted good! Also the bathroom is as clean as can be for a place that sees so much traffic... their desserts are Heaven and the staff is Uber-friendly. What's not there to love about this place? Well, it does see a lot of people so it's constantly dirty and there is no room to sit down most of the time but the food sure makes up for it and I recommend eating in your car and watching the eclectic crowd of people make their way through this place. A Campbell institution that has been here as long as I can remember!

Dairy Queen is pure joy. There aren't that many DQs in California or the Bay Area so it's great that we have this one.

Mmmmmm, small chocolate dipped cone, can't get any better, love these. 10pm and it's packed in here, never too late for ice cream.

Got two Blizzards. Both tasted strange, as if they were made with bad milk. Literally left a bad taste in my mouth and I doubt I'll go back to this DQ.

We came here for dinner one night only because we haven't had dinner yet and wanted Pyscho Doughnuts after for dessert. It must have been a long time since I have stepped into to a place like this, it was a kid in a candy store. I wanted to order ice cream in a waffle cone, but the lady said they ran out of waffle cones. What! Really, you gotta be joking, but it was okay because dessert was coming. I had ordered the Chicken finger basket and it tasted like every other chicken finger basket out there, nothing great. You know the ones you get at amusement parks or Warriors game. I guess they mass produce and leave it sitting there and when it's ordered it's ready to go. I guess this place is best known for their ice cream and blizzards because the place was busy but I think we were the only ones actually eating real food and not dessert.

Got an extra star because the food is actually ok, not great, but not bad. The customer service is not very good. No smile, lackluster, haggard, over-worked, lethargic and just not friendly. I haven't eaten at a DQ in years because I try to stay away from fast food. The store itself is kept pretty clean and the store front is kind of cute.

The two times me and my husband have been here, we've gotten very nice service from all the workers and our food was great The last time, they forgot my Moo-latte and to make it up, the supervisor upped the size when she made it in front of me Gets crowded pretty fast and a tiny parking lot but in my opinion, it is worth it

    (5)
  • Janet O.

This is the closest to me. So I have to have a repeat of their creamy yummy goodness in a cone! They didn't disappoint! Ordered the medium size vanilla cone again. That thing was heavy for a cone! No dinky little scoop like the other place! Hey ice cream scoopers for other places. Why don't you pile it high like the DQ way?!

    (5)
  • Marlene B.

Love the mini blizzard for only $1.99. It's perfect size for just the taste!

  • John G.

This dairy queen is a fun place to stop for a quick treat. I like the old school building, the neighborhood feel, and especially the polite and helpful employees behind the counter. It looks like a hard and dirty job, but they do it tirelessly and with a smile. Maybe more fast food franchises should have a tip jar on the counter. Unfortunately, it's not all good news. The place is grimy bordering on filthy. At least the customer seating area is--I couldn't really see the food preparation area. I'm not entirely sure I would order anything off the hot menu here, and I am far from squeamish. Prices seem high for bog-standard quality vanilla soft serve. Three treats for my family (2 mini blizzards and a small dipped cone) came to over $7, but that was with discounted promotional pricing. The "mini" and "small" servings are big enough for an adult, but also the worst value on the menu. Maybe the answer is to buy a large and share it.

It was a Sunday and I literally burned about 1,100 calories at the gym because Cristal C. and I planned to have lunch in Sunnyvale at Habit Grill but things came up so she had to cancel. I was in the area for the Recycle Book Store and did not want to drive far so what did I do? I checked my nearest bookmarks of course. I have my daughter 50% of the time, even though I mentioned in my previous reviews that I am trying to break that habit of hers of only wanting Asian food, I did give her a few options and little did I know, she picked "cheeseburgers". This took us about 2 minutes to get to. The place is small but since there were only 2 tables occupied, the seating area looked huge but because it was rather warm out, we took a seat outside to enjoy the somewhat cool breeze. The menu reminds me of Sonic's for some reason- burgers, chicken strips, shakes, ice cream, hot dogs, chili dogs, corn dogs, milkshakes, smoothies, they have ice cream bars and cakes in the freezer.. a junkfood lover's dream. I ordered my daughter the cheeseburger kid's meal (it does not come w/ a toy, BTW) and for myself I got the $5 meal deal: 1/4lb cheeseburger, small fries, regular drink, and a mini blizzard (Chocolate Xtreme). To top that off, I ordered the small Orange Julius, too (hey, I'm consuming juice, a fruit!). The order did not take long and service was very pleasant. The girl that took my order forgot about the Orange Julius but she apologized. The soda fountain makes it possible to get all the refills you want, there is a ketchup dispenser, and the usual straws and napkins available at this station which is next to the "pick up your order" area. The burger is good but for some reason I had a nostalgic moment when I took my first bite. Maybe it's because I haven't had a burger in awhile (I used to eat nothing but burgers). The burger did not fill me up but it did satisfy my hunger plus for $5 and to be able to control portion size, this is a steal. The fries were OK, it needed salt. My mini Blizzard was delicious!!! They certainly do not skimp on the chocolates; it's chewy brownie pieces, chocolate chunks, and cocoa fudge blended with vanilla soft serve. My Orange Julius was also delicious.. I haven't had one in over 4 years! For less than $13, my daughter and I enjoyed our lunch very much!

My family and I just relocated from Dallas, Texas and we LOVE our DQ country! We found this place to get our burger and fries fix. Sadly there is no Hungerburger or famous steak fingers back home but they do have cream gravy and offer good chicken strips. The burgers are very fresh and wonderful soft buns. We give a thumbs up!

    (4)
  • Mike M.

I don't have much choice. if I want DQ, I have to come here. the food is fine. the 5 buck lunch is a great deal. and who doesn't love a blizzard, right? why only 3 stars? the service suuuuuuucks. the teenagers that work there can't be bothered to smile, be even a little friendly or move faster than a snail. I generally have to wipe down a table myself. it seems like they are understaffed when it's busy but its probably just lack of concern for good service and downright inefficiency. I hate coming here but I like DQ so I'm stuck with them

I grew up on DQ, literally. In Columbus, Ohio there are about 20 DQs. When I accidentally came upon this one in Campbell, I was really excited. I ran into the store to get a 6 pack of DQ ice cream sandwiches, but they took a look at what they had and told me it was too old and couldn't sell it to me. They said I can order it ahead of time, so it'll be fresh (can't take it when it's freshly made, since it will melt in the car ride home, especially on a hot day). So, I ended up getting a box of Dilly Bars (not a bad substitute). I appreciate their honesty and for not charging me the difference for the Dilly Bars. A small gesture goes a long way. I will definitely call ahead soon and order those DQ sandwiches! Too bad they don't have fried mushrooms like they do in Ohio.

Dairy Queen, do you need a Dairy King? If so let me know! (Damn that all rhymed!) My Dad used to take my brother and I to DQ when we were kids for a sundae on Sundays occasionally. It is a really sweet memory I have. The ice cream is still as soft and delicious as it was then.

I love the soft ice cream here. I remember Dairy Queen as a kid, and many many years later, it still taste great!

  • Patti L.

We went looking for this place specifically because my kid wanted to try it out after seeing a commercial for it on TV. The place is small. The ordering line was short and our food came out within 5 minutes. My burger was warm but had no flavor. It tastes like I was eating cardboard. The fries were ok, warm and slightly crispy. My kid had his own opinions. He didn't enjoy his burger because the meat patty was crispy burnt. His fries were stale. We ended up having a second meal at Burger King down the street.

I have to say I have been here two times and both times my burgers were great! Warm, fresh and not greasy! They have yummy chili fries and ice cream shakes! 5 star customer service too!

For my nephew's 12th birthday we wanted to get him an ice cream cake. Apparently, there aren't too many places that carry ice cream cakes these days, or at least around the south bay area. I called in about a week in advance to verify that they could fulfill my order. The woman on the phone indicated that they only needed a few days notice so I ended up calling back a few days later to place the order. She was very nice and accommodating. The day I was supposed to pick the cake up I called just to verify it was ready and she told me I could pick it up anytime. We then went by later in the afternoon to pick it up and simply paid and walked out. However, when we got to the car I realized that one letter in his name on the cake was incorrect. It was a minor error so we took the cake back in and the woman corrected it right away (and she was very apologetic). Bottom line, I can't say I'm a Dairy Queen "fan" or that I could really come here for anything else other than an ice cream cake for a 12 year old, but it certainly served its purpose and the employees were very nice!

I always only went for the ice cream treats, but last night this was a quick stop for a bite before dance class with my dear friend Monica L. and our respective dates and was happy with our choice. Cost to worth it rating: 4 (a lot for a little) Highlights: - Deal: off of a small list (fries, cheeseburger, chicken wrap), you can get 2 for $3 or 3 for $4--my wallet likes that! - Cheeseburger: I wasn't expecting much, but it was pretty good. Thin yet substantial paddy with a grill flavor too it--way better than McDonald's. - Chicken wrap: pretty much a fried chicken strip with some shredded cheddar cheese wrapped in lettuce and then wrapped in a flour tortilla. Worked fine for me. - Blizzards: man I LOVE these things. Haven't had one in a while but the original mix-in ice creams here are near and dear to my heart. I always loved how they turned it upside down after mixing it to show you how packed in everything was. - Blizzard cakes: first time I've seen these. How cool! I SO want a Reese one. Lowlights: - Not lactose intolerant friendly: SO tempting to get a frozen dairy treat, but know my tummy wouldn't like me to much later. Non-dairy option would be fantastic. - No small blizzard size: even the small is way to large for me--wish they'd make a smaller version. Danger, danger, Will Robinson--I've rediscovered Dairy Queen. God help us all. :-O

2.5 stars. An extra half star for their extra creamy Blizzard, which you can turn upside down and not have it drip out. The chicken strips with gravy tasted really good and the fries were ok. The oreo Blizzard tasted just like McDonald's McFlurry though... And 1 meal here cost me almost $10. SO not worth it if you ask me, especially when the fast food here gives you indigestion and a heavy stomach! That rarely happens to me when I eat fast food anywhere else so BOO to you DQ!

Solid Dairy Queen in a good spot. Right around the corner from my buddy's place!

whenever i think of dairy queen, i think of parker posey's character in waiting for guffman. she's twisting her hair, chewing her gum, saying "i've worked at the dq for, um..." cheap stuff and a huge variety of blizzards. they have a special for 2 items for $3, 3 for $4, 4 for $5. the items you can choose from include a fried chicken wrap, a basic hamburger, fries, soda etc. the ice cream cakes are gluten-free, if you are into that kinda thing. it's pretty clean in here, and there are a few tables outside. soda is a self-serve machine. hamburgers are actually pretty good, with generous lettuce, tomato. not huge, but decent for the price. after a certain time of day on certain days (sorry about being so vague) the cakes are significantly discounted. they're pretty pricey otherwise, about the same as most bakeries i suppose, about $35 for an 8 inch. if you sign up for the DQ club online, they'll give you coupons 6x a year, buy one get one free blizzard and whatnot. they'll also tell you the blizzard of the month, like raspberry brownie or some other decadence. menu here: allmenus.com/ca/san-jose…

Dairy Queen's used to be EVERYWHERE, now I only know of this one and one at Oakridge and this is the best in my opinion. Why is this? All I can tell you is that my office was in Campbell for years and I never went here. Maybe that tells you something. What the QUEEN is famous for is ice cream and now there is so much competition with 31 FlavorFlaves, Coldstone, Dolce, etc that the Old Girl has faded into the past. Their burgers are also very good, the onion rings nice and crispy and the sulshy's cold and tooth breaking. I do think it rates high on the food quality index but people don't really want to come in and sit down when there are fast food / in and out alternatives available. Also, I think this location is pretty bad even though this store has been here forever. You don't get that much traffic because San Tomas Expwy is parallel to it and that siphons off people. If I lived here and had some time to eat and wanted a freshly cooked burger with a Blizzard or banana split to fill my belly, I would stop here and eat. The quality and value is there.

So old school... I really hope they never decide to modernize this place. It's a classic. It's got good food, good snacks & good atmosphere. Great place to take the family for an after dinner treat. Just avoid the restroom...

I probably haven't been to a dairy queen in 20 years since I lived near one in Kenmore NY. My mom and dad used to give me a few bucks for me to take my sister for ice cream so they could get it on while we were gone. Anyway, I still have a fondness for blizzards and soft serve. You probably came here for ice cream because thats their specialty. The one I went to in NY never had anything other than ice cream so this was a first to have burgers, fries and such from. So I'm gonna recap the hot food I had today. Cheeseburgers: Wife said this is what summer tastes like. Tastes like a slightly greasy low grade cheeseburger. Which is what I expected, so alls good. Hot Dog: The meat has a less funky taste than Foster Freeze. The bun is unnaturally soggy. I have no idea whats up with that. Chicken Strips with White Gravy: better than I expected. A touch better than safeways deli. Fries are nothing special and are better hot when you are there. Onion Rings were pretty damn good.

Wow what a gem in the rough. I've never had DQ let alone ventured over here until one day I drove my girlfriend via "no freeways". We passed by here and always made it a goal to get back over and try this place out. We came in one warm summer afternoon to a deserted shop. Just standing in line for 5 minutes a hoard of people come in after us with the same thing in mind, DQ Blizzards! My girlfriend got some strawberry cheesecake one, I got an M&Ms one and thought what the hell, and ordered chili cheese fries. I know weird combo milk and chili, lol. Anyways our blizzards came out nice and we enjoyed them whilst thinking my chili cheese fries aren't coming out even though I paid for them. After scheming how I was going to tell them what a bad job they were doing the lady yelled out my order. Wow, it was made fresh to order, how cool. It came out piping hot and crispy, slathered with a good spiced amount of chili and fresh cheddar cheese that melted over the top as it steamed away. I had to let it cool a bit because it was so hot it burned the roof of my mouth. Props to them with that, the place was packed full of customers ordering things from burgers to blizzards. I'll definitely be back, but I don't know if I can branch away from my blizzard and chili cheese fries, they were so amazing! I'd even go the length to say the chili cheese fries were better than Wienerschnitzels.

This place gets jammed during the dinner hour, but it's a life-long favorite. The wait just makes you appreciate the treats even more. If you don't know what a Dairy Queen is, then just go with no particular expectations, and you'll have fun. If you're a fan already, this location is pretty much like every DQ you've ever been to. Now I needs a Dilly Bar...

Right now they have a new blizzard flavor to celebrate their 25th anniversary and it's delicious! This months flavor is Pecan Pie. It's filled with lots of pecans, bits of chocolate, and some kind of slightly buttery crunch bits that sort of taste a little like butterscotch, yum! I got a small for around $4.00. The service here was really fast. I got mine to go in two minutes or less. It does melt fast though, so unless you live nearby, it's best to eat it there. If you eat in in your car, it's sure to get all over the place when it's hot out like it is now. Another good flavor is the Turtle Pecan Cluster under the Chocoholics menu. It also has a ton of Pecans in it along with chocolate and is a pecan lovers delight! They also have a lot of other appetizing sounding flavors from mixed fruit blizzards, candy lovers blizzards, and other kinds that I can't quite recall right now. This place also serves burgers and other fast food items. They also have ice cream cakes that look really good. I shouldn't be eating full fat ice cream, but hey, you only live once, so what the hell? This stuff is super yummy and so refreshing to eat on a hot day!

Believe it or not, I stopped by this place purely because I can't remember the last time I had even been inside a Dairy Queen. There was a patron leaving this place in an Audi R8 as we were pulling in... thats almost the equvalent of seeing a new Ferrari strolling through the local McD drive thru. Haha, anyhow I ordered some basic frozen yogurt which was sweet and basically tasted like what you'd get at any McD's. WTF dude. After seeing the people that eat here, I wouldn't want to touch any of the other menu items. It's cheap but omg... I know why I never came here in the past.

Today... Was the worst experience ! Never again go here on luch time.. First i ordered 3 for 4 My bf ordered chicken basket 6 pieces I got 2 cheeseburger & i said FRIES & she gave me a cup for soda. Maybe i thought she made it to a meal. Looked at the receipt nd didnt say fries.. Sigh... my bf said just ordered again i say hell no ! How can you get fries to soda ? And i walked to the soda machine. Of course my favorite dr.pepper :) i pushed my cup and it was white :( i told the lady she was out of dr.pepper she didnt even do or say anything. I just forget about it and got pink lemonade. Food was ready and the guy was yelling out the wrong number and i ask him an he finally said the right number. Asked for bbq sauce even though i asked the lady when i ordered ! I asked for ranch, he said its in the bag. Hello we ordered 2 diferent orders -__- i jus walked away and left.. Never again goin here during the day. The night people are nicer & the food is better ! Where is your customer service ? It doesnt matter if its in rush time. I used to work in fast food! Thats not how they train me... Very dissaponted !

Went here because of the hype me and my friends built up. Really, not that great. I got the flamethrower burger or whatever it's called with onion rings and fries. Decent meal, but on the account of how far I traveled... ehhh. Should've went to In-N-Out instead. If it was near me it'd be good but yeah. Service was not great, nor good. Shoot not even ok. Workers there look like they hate their life. Money is money, whatever you have to do to earn it. At least smile. And pay attention to the orders and stop lounging around. Moral of the story, don't hype up fast food chains too much. You might regret it. PS. The Blizzard treats are pretty freakin awesome. But that's what they're known for. Lol.

Heavy on calories, light on flavor. There's a layer of scum over everything.

Okay - so this took us by surprise. DH and I decided to hit them up after reading some of the Yelp reviews. I went for the 4/$5: Two cheeseburgers, onion rings, iced tea. DH did the Double Cheeseburger Combo for $6.99: Two double cheeseburgers, fries, drink. We were expecting McDonald's size burgers. Well, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs! We came home with one double cheeseburger and one cheeseburger. (Dog is one happy camper!) Note for next time: Order double cheeseburger combo and the a 2/$3 for the onion rings and iced tea! The burgers have a flame-broiled taste reminiscent of Burger King, only with better toppings. The meat is thin, but flavorful for what it is. Lots of fresh green leaf lettuce, diced onion, thick slice of tomato and pickle slices. The fries were okay. Thicker than McDonald's, not as thick as Wendy's. They seemed to have some kind of coating on them. All in all, just okay. The onion rings were quite good for a fast-food place. Crispy with a panko like crust. Really liked the rings. This is definitely one of those go-back-to places!

Sometimes I slum it and go to Dairy Queen. Often when it's hot out. Always for a dipped cone. I always get my cone to go, so I'm rarely in the restaurant for more than 5 minutes. The service is always quick. It's not the cleanest restaurant you'll find, but it does what it does well enough.

My wife and I drove by this place on a Sunday afternoon (after several open house visits) -- 2 hungry belly looking for some quick eats. When we saw this DQ, we think of ice cream and sweet treats... Entering the store without high expectation, we ordered double cheese burger (happens to be on sale, 2 for $3). First bite, the burgers are surprisingly fresh and tasty... 2nd bite, we decided we WILL return, order other burgers and find out whether others are equally tasty... So far, we haven't been disappointed by this DQ. Not to mention that their ice cream and cold drinks are perfect for the "after-burger" supplement. I hope you all readers will come explore this place... Great for snack and a quick meal.

Small and cute, its a DQ you know. My family and i ordered, and my mother really wanted a grilled chicken, but the order came to crispy, i felt bad but knew i had to at least let the workers know about making sure to get the right orders. I was polite and left a tip in the jar. I still like eating there when its not so busy. Its like classic dining experience when around the right circumstances.

Mm-mm. I saw the strawberry golden Oreo Blizzard on TV and knew I had to have it. I'd never been to this location and was content with the visit. We got the Blizzard, the Flamethrower burger, and fries with a soda for about $11 - a little more than I would expect, but worth it. food came out super-fast. My Blizzard was perfect. Good thing I got a small, though - it was plenty! Lots of people at this location, and lots of kids.

This place has saved me before dance class. Their fries are pleasantly salty and crisp; their hot dogs and grilled cheese are delish; and I rarely find a line when I go. I enjoy watching the cooks make my food on the spot and pull a fresh bun from the bag. It's still fast food, but it tastes better than the completely pre-made/re-heated fare of other places.

This is by far one of the most decent quality restaurants. Burgers are tasty. Ice cream is awesome. I like the chocolate dipped vanilla cone. Their ice cream birthday cake is really good. The owner keeps keeping the place modern looking by remodeling left and right. That shows how he cares about his customers view of his restaurant. If you want quality burgers at a decent price, check this place out.

This Dairy Queen is pretty good, but its pretty much the same thing as Foster's Freeze. It just has a different label. Its good quality fast food though and for a good price. Most of the time the employees don't know how to work the registers though. So make sure to check your receipt.

Since there aren't that many DQ's around, I don't feel so bad writing a review for a chain. A summertime staple of my youth. You can't have a summer in Campbell without hitting the DQ at least once. I really like the caramel sundaes - and normally I am not one to have peanuts on my ice cream, but the topping they have here is really good. Last year they had the Girl Scout Thin Mint Blizzard. I'm hoping they do a Caramel DeLite flavor this year! Service- staff is always on the young side, but always nice and professional. I only recently started ordering actual food from here, and wow, the burgers are actually pretty good!

Consistently good burgers and fries when all you want is some cholesterol-filling food in your tummy. Oh, and for that sugar need afterwards...go for a blizzard with your favorite candy blended/chopped in. This place rocks in that even if the lines are long and the little dining packed, they're fast and efficient. Kudos to the owner for taking pride in the exterior of his place. He's created a cute little picnic/farm area in the front with flowers and ambiance!

I didn't grow up with DQ, but I felt like a kid again when standing outside of DQ in a hot day, trying to eat a dipped cone as fast as I can because it was starting to melt and dripping on my toes. We also had Blizzard with snickers bar, and I totally loved it. YUM!!! I am usually a local independent creamery supporter but DQ ice cream is just an exception. There are only three DQs in South Bay - Campbell, Oakridge Mall and Mountain View.

The employees are a bit odd but decently nice. The place seems a tad disorganized / dirty. But the ice cream shake or whatever was very tasty. Burgers were ok and so were the fries. Has a bit more of a home made feel rather than a McDonalds or something.
