Cute California-type Asian guy running cash register. Worth the visit alone! Smelled a bit fishy when I walked in but it's small, several locations in the area and quite a bit of people, so I figured it wasn't a bad place. Plus I was lazy and it was this or Subway. Sushi was good but still nervous about the smell at first. Let's hope I can walk to hotel without any "occurrences". I'd still recommend. Will come back and edit if things start to rumble.

Great sushi and great service. The price can't be beat considering the quality of the sushi. The atmosphere modern and clean. The free refillable miso soup was surprisingly delicious!

  • Tina N.

OKAY... Not the best sushi served, but decent for lunch time. Kind of pricey for the quantity and quality, yet I do like the Teriyaki combo plate with all you can eat miso soup. If you do choose to go with the Teriyaki combo plate... have them put WHITE meat ONLY! B+ 4 Stars

For a quick and tasty lunch, this place has it. Very good lunch special consisting of fine miso soup, great tempura, salad with ginger dressing, a california roll, rice, and ginger - all for 7 and a half bucks. It's in a nice to go bento box as well. Each time I go, the staff is nice and friendly, especially CD - she's a great employee! You want fancy sushi - go somewhere else. You want it quick and to go - Califonia Roll & Sushi is your place.

Meh. Bland, mediocre sushi that is totally overpriced. At least they give you a lot of it. But it's not very good.

  • Olivier D.

I think for a franchise the food is certainly good, what threw me off a little was that a lot of the rolls have battered/fried ingredients. I'm not used to that at a sushi place. But in general it was very well done and prepared. Maybe I just ended up picking the fried dishes.

California Roll is one of my preferred quick sushi places. It's fresh and tasty. You can find better at a classier joint, but it beats its competition as far as fast food style places go. This is also where I discovered ice cream mochi. If you've never had it, be sure to try it!

One of the best places I love to go~ I had the chicken bowl here because I was recommended by the cashier, but one of the best choices I've made. My lunch was amazing with some great food!

  • Natalie Y.

I've eaten at many sushi places and the quality wasn't too fab but okay enough to eat. The girl that took my order was extremely nice and understood my pain of being on a 30 min lunch break. They were very considerate of my time And made my order in 12 minutes which gave me enough time to enjoy the Mexican roll and spicy tuna hand roll on soy paper. They were also very generous with the spicy mayo which tasted amazing with my roll! I will definitely come back!!

Wasn't great but wasn't bad. Ordered some California rolls and Las Vegas rolls. Got served pretty quick and worth the money. Overall decent spot.

  • Jay F.

Love this place... Food is priced correctly, they have good lunch specials, free refills on miso soup which is complimentary anyways. Would definitely recommend if you're in the Burbank area. Just a friendly family operated eatery. Try the beef lunch special. Definitely coming back.

The food was very tasty! The atmosphere is nice, but it's a tad bit pricy, definitely worth it though.

decent for lunch especially if you're craving japanese and you work in the area. everything is whatever but the staff is so nice and friendly. its not expensive either. its alright!

One day a few weeks ago, I found a pound of shrimp for sale at the 99cent store. A risky paradox. As I rolled the bag of bargain shrimp around in my hand, I wondered if it was perfectly acceptable to be an elitist when it comes to seafood. The scales tipped the day I walked into California Roll & Sushi. Bargain prices, "you get what you pay for" fish. The teriyaki dishes are consistently mediocre. The sushi is rubbery, bland, and uninspired. If you're going to have a cheap, quick lunch, you may as well go to a eatery that can provide tasty fare within those guidelines. Life lesson #8,072: Save up for sushi.

well, I have to agree that even though it's not a place you crave for,it's still a decent place to get tempura. I do not recommend the sushi & teriyaki (it's always too sweet), but the tempura still tastes pretty authentic and good value for less than $10. And my husband who lived in Japan agrees too. Just not the place you want to get adventurous with- but it's only 2 mins from my place and it's a good alternative to sandwiches for a quick lunch. Also, there's krispy kreme down the way for dessert!

  • Justin K.

The teriyaki chicken lunch combo tasted about on par with the Chinese food you would find in the food court at the mall. The best part was actually the cabbage under the chicken, and the sushi was just okay. Something in the food also left me with an upset stomach and made me feel like I kept needing to clear my throat. The sushi seemed fresh, which was about the only positive part of the experience, and I don't think I will ever go back.

Am i the first to review this place? No way! Pretty much your average sushi place...its not great..its not bad..its just okay. The sushi tastes alright and the staff is nice. I would only go here if I happen to be in the empire center and am craving sushi.

  • Marie M.

Clean restaurant conveniently located in this outdoor shopping complex. Unfortunately sushi is overpriced and not high quality. I was disappointed when we showed up at 9 pm and was greeted by a young kid that said we can't eat inside, take out only. Really? At 9 pm? Lame!

    (2)
  • Martha V.

The plates are pretty good here, but WARNING do not order the raw sushi. I got sick to my stomach by just eating two pieces of the raw salmon.

  • Geoff B.

Needed to take a walk and decided to head over to the Empire Center, passed by here and had a sudden craving for a bento and rolls. The place seemed a bit pricey so I just got the two (2) hand rolls for $6. They were alright, I didn't expect a lot of flavor and that's exactly what happened. I'll probably just go to Nikos if I ever want rolls again.

  • Matthew F.

Decent place - I prefer Hans Teriyaki in Studio City much more than this place. Service was ok and the food was ok - Tasted a lot like san sai. Convenient location if your craving some cheap sushi, but otherwise go somewhere else.

  • George T.

I really wanted to leave a 1 star but it's not fair to the business. Get rid of the young girl at the front! Very rude, no customer service skills what so ever. We asked a question about a certain salad we've had here before and she says she doesn't know what we're talking about... Really??? Not even an attempt to find out what I wanted... So we ordered something else... Disgusted with HER service. Otherwise I love this place, good food pretty fast and always tidy.

    (3)
  • Susan C.

Oh so disappointing. Sort of a fast food sushi low grade preparation. The only nice thing is that the staff. Why is this place here?

  • Tom A.

Perfect place for a quick lunch or bite , they use fresh food and cooked as ordered was so impressed with this place and wish I started going here sooner! Great staff as well and great prices so yes a five star rating !

  • Robert H.

The rolls were well made and the Ponzu was tasty. The restaurant was set up like with a counter where you order your food and then they bring it out to you similar to a Pei Wei. The drinks are self serve as is the Miso soup.

    (3)
  • Sarah T.

If you find yourself at the Empire Center and want sushi this place isn't that bad. Of course it is not a 5 star place but decent enough for a simple plate. Boss man really liked the beef & chicken lunch special plate. He said it was seasoned very well. The place is clean and doesn't feel like fish slapped you across the face when you enter. I by all means do not think they get their fish fresh every morning but it was decent for a quick bite.

  • Jessica K.

This place was just ok.. We got the spicy tuna roll, soft shell crab roll and California roll that came with two miso soups. For dessert we got two plain yogurts..Ive been wanting to try this place for years but never could muster up the courage to go in..ive always been a little wary of places like this because they just are too small to seem clean and fresh..The food was just ok, the yogurt was good but I didn't go there for yogurt I went there for good sushi and wasn't too impressed. Probably wont be back because there are better places near by.

  • Brigitte C.

This place is my go-to sushi place when I'm in the area. Fresh fish. Great service. And you get free miso soup with your order!! (Free is always good yay) I also like this place because it is family-owned and you can't go wrong with hard working family-owned by businesses! You can call ahead and pick up your order and my favorite is the Baked Salmon Roll :) overall, just fantastic!

  • Magid H.

This place is fantastic. Great prices and sushi made when you order. I go here all the time. 2 people can leave stuffed after only spending $20...Good food, quick service...Great location....

  • Jasmine P.

horrible cooks. my salad was swimming in dressing.

    (1)
  • Bob B.

This place is vile. I got a bento box that had a spicy roll (bitter tasting), chicken (full of cartilage and fat), a salad that was withered and some rice. I ate the rice, a few pieces of salad, two cuts of the roll and some chicken that was edible. J also drank the salt water that they call Miso Soup. No seaweed, no tofu...just saltwater. I will NEVER go back to this place again.

Want cheap and descent sushi quick? This is the spot. My kids like this spot cause it's not a fancy sushi spot and we can go to Jamba Juice after. Lol.

"Stay away from sushi places that dont make their sushi in front of you" I was given that advice when I first started eating sushi and here I share it with you.

  • Magaly L.

This place is my typical go to place and it's usually pretty good but, somewhere down the process of making my food someone messed up. I order a spicy tuna roll and a jalapeño bomb, 15 minutes later my body started becoming super hot with patches of red all over my body. My heart was beating like crazy. In the emergency room they gave me a bunch of medicine to finally calm me down. Let's just say after this experience I'm never eating sushi ever again. Food poisoning sucks

    (1)
  • Ella B.

The service is ok, the ambiance is so so. The food is poor quality. They do have free self serve miso soup but they put some kind of spice in it. I had the caterpillar roll and its was small, despite the giant layer of avocado on top. The ingredients weren't very fresh. Ordered edamame and it also didn't taste fresh. My boyfriend enjoyed his salmon and tuna nigiri but said the pepper seared tuna was dry. His spicy tuna roll was very small and too spicy. This is my second time here and his third. He has enjoyed his experiences so far, I have not.

  • Justin E.

I love sushi, and the staff here is wonderful, but I just can't recommend this place. I've been here twice... Once for the sushi then once for a teriyaki chicken bowl. Both had a sort of... Chemical... Taste. Especially the chicken bowl. Funny enough it tasted better after I took it home and microwaved it later for a snack. I would rate this slightly higher but for what the price is for a roll, it's just not worth it to me. I thought maybe it was like the Taco Bell of the sushi world... But it's just... Less than average sushi; I'm guessing way healthier than Taco Bell though.

This is a good little place to eat at after shopping! The staff was extremely nice and helped me while I was eating with my 1 year old daughter! I didn't know what to get for my daughter but the cashier made some recommendations and I ended up getting my daughter the dumplings! They have free miso soup you have to serve yourself! One thing I did notice was they only have one high chair which I was using, then another lady walked in with a toddler and she didn't have a chair to use. I would suggest having another high chair available! The food was good though!

Quick sushi , what more can you ask for ;) How about a self serve miso section . Great idea! Yummy eel special but their combos are much prettier. We'll be back*

  • Gabrielle A.

Its ok... not worth the price or the food Gonna try thee crazy not roll... Lady couple times had super horrible experience with the food but great service Sushi was ok not that great, great (free) miso soup though! Only rolls id recommend is the california rolls.

    (2)
  • Karen H.

This place is decent! I was pleasantly surprised, the sushi was not bad at all. The miso soup was plentiful and free. What impressed me the most was that when we ordered the ramen for our little girl it turned out to be Kim chee ramen, very spicy, and she could not eat it. The cook took it back, no problem, and made her another without the spice. They took the time to get my daughter something she could eat, and that meant a lot...

  • Shad N.

Do not come here unless you enjoy bones in your sushi. I ordered a Hawaiian Roll and it was tasteless. After eating my second piece, I discovered a piece of bone in the albacore meat. I let it slide, then the 3rd piece, a bone, 4th a bone; are you kidding me! This place sucked. Never shall I return.

The to-go Sushi at Ralphs market, is a bit better quality. At this level I would be expecting it to be dirt cheap also. This is good for the teenagers with tight budget that don't really care about quality I suppose.

I like this place. The people are nice. The food is yummy. I have no complaints so far. :)

awful. i'd rather eat store bought pre packaged day old sushi (which is basically what this is). Don't do it!

  • Jiyeon S.

Often go here to eat lunch and my new favorite roll is hungry roll. Deepfried spicy tuna roll with eel sauce which I just fall in love with. Further, service and neatness of utencils or tables are just fabulous! I highly recommand

It's "Meh. I've experienced better." It's not "A-OK". Two stars seems low, but I'm going by the yelp text. It's just not up to "A-Ok". If you are within walking distance and need to eat quickly and want sushi, it's okay. This is "fast food" sushi -- the service was the fastest I ever had. That's great. And the person who took my order was extremely cheerful, spoke clearly, and was helpful. That's awesome. But it's not table service. It's plastic utensils, plastic bowls, and fix your own miso soup in a styrofoam cup. It's order at the counter and pay in advance. The prices are appropriate for what it is -- lower than at a full-service restaurant. I judge sushi restaurants based on the Chirashi. Here, it was ok. Not excellent. Just ok. It was $13, which I'd call appropriate for what I said above. The music was upbeat pop. I wouldn't call it "loud", but it wasn't a quiet relaxing dinner either. It didn't make for a relaxing experience. I like to relax when I eat sushi.

So my boyfriend wanted to take me out to eat sushi cause he knows I love sushi and we both love it lol and he brought me to this place and I loved the atmosphere it was quite chili and very comfy. I loved the variety of sushi rolls they had it was perfect. I had ordered the Rainbow Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Tuna Sushi, and Salmon Sushi. He ordered the Shrimp Tempera Roll. It was also great because they gave free miso soup on the side it was perfect! We only had about 10-15 mins to eat! And the service was quick fast and cooked perfectly! Knowing me and my bf we love food and eating out. We were able to finish our food in 10 mins! It was all so delicious!! Worth rushing to eat!!

we always visit this place for lunch since we work across the street. Usually its pretty ok but today was horrible. I had the sashimi combo and the fish was too fish and slimy eeeiiooooo. The salad was not even fresh just a very bad choice on my part.

    (1)
  • Candace B.

Stopped here while Christmas shopping. We have two types of sushi and I tried a teriyaki chicken bowl. The chicken bowl was good and the sauce was amazing. Plenty of fresh veggies and perfectly portioned - chicken to veggies and rice. The sushi was just ok. The seaweed was chewy and made it a bit difficult to enjoy the sushi rolls. They were pretty busy, maybe I'll give them one more try when I'm over that way again.

  • Lisa B.

So I got stuck with caterpillar roll (filled with all cucumber barely any eel fell apart) I refused to eat it and politely asked to have a refund on just that one roll, they refused to give me my money back for that roll of $8 dropped $30 in this restaurant and only ate one roll and two albacore, and one roll got thrown in the trash. I don't understand why it's my fault for refusing to eat a horrible roll and I get stuck with paying for something with rice and cucumber that I didn't even eat!

Pros: It appears to be clean and cute. It is kid friendly with lots of menu items. If you are desperate and don't want to fork out a wad of cash for sushi come here. Cons: If you are looking for good sushi don't come here. We ordered the lunch special with California rolls, tempura, salad and miso soup as well as the tempura shrimp rolls. There were no stand outs in either selection. The vegetables were hard and didn't seem cooked. The tempura batter was too thick and reminded me of eating a Chicken McNugget. The broth for dipping the tempura was served cold right out of the refrigerator. There is no restroom for customers, so you'll have to trek over to Target or Best Buy. If you are looking for inexpensive sushi I guess you are in the right place. It seemed better the last time we were here and maybe it was just an off day for the chef. No more fast food sushi for me!

Since my visit at Verizon took a bit longer than anticipated, I had to have lunch at California Roll & Sushi. I've eaten here many times in the past and thought I had reviewed it. I ordered the spicy tuna salad but asked them to replace the tuna with salmon. They charged me few dollars extra for the salmon. It was delicious!!! The only problem I had was that the top of my legs had some brown sauce when I got up. There must have been some sort of a spill that wasn't cleaned well. Luckily, when I washed my pants, the stain came out. Next time, I have to look under the table prior to crossing my legs.

  • Marianna K.

They have typical lunch and dinner options (chicken/salmon/beef teriyaki plates), Udons, as well as a variety of california-style rolls. Fast, easy, americanized-japanese-comfort food, if that makes sense. I like their snowcorn roll and something resembling-a-sushi-roll called palm springs roll - as American as a sushi roll can get... well, excluding chicken teriyaki roll which I found somewhere recently too.

  • Josh G.

Nice service and soup, But the fish is often spoiled. Save, get real sushi.

    (2)
  • Roxana N.

Miso soup is self serve on the side of the room towards the back. They give you a container with very minimal tofu and seaweed. The cashiers are nice but my spicy salmon scallop roll tasted spoiled unfortunately. Oh and while I was eating, they had creepy cooks gawking at me while I ate. Sit where they can't see you so you can enjoy your food.

    (1)
  • Gloria I.

The Sushi here are pretty good. A bit on the pricey side but the portions are a decent size. I only came here because I was really hungry and I didn't feel like eating anywhere else around the area. I was actually working on a school project with friends at the Starbucks next door. I ordered the Caterpillar Roll and the Spider Roll. These 2 are my usual favorite rolls. They have free miso soup that is self serve in the back. It took a while to get my order but the rolls were delicious so I can't complain. Staff were friendly.

Here's the thing about this place... It's pretty much fast food sushi. I can compare it to San-Sai, but less sushi-oriented, ironically enough. I only go here when I'm in Empire Center, and never specifically for this place. I usually end up going here because I LOVE sushi so much. I love the Daphne's nearby too, but this place always wins out because, after all, sushi is my middle name. I've had a few things here (unfortunately, don't really remember the roll names), and everything's been.. okay. Nothing has been horrid except 1 CA roll that came with a chicken teriyaki special, but that was many months ago. I had the salmon terikyaki special (which was pretty good, better than the one at Tokyo Yakitori by far, though a smallish portion for $10), and it came with a CA roll (spicy tuna is $1 extra). Today's CA roll was surprisingly pretty good. Their specialty rolls aren't bad, just EXTREMELY expensive, in my opinion. I mean, they charge close to ten bucks for many of the rolls, and that's way too much for a place like this. The service here is sometimes slow, but the cashiers are SO nice. They really are! I like the free miso soup with purchase as well (in the back, you pour it yourself). I would give it slightly over 3 stars, but not a 4.

  • Lillian M.

I am a sushi fan and love a great sushi bar, but not everyone in my family has the same level of love as I do. This is a great place to go to pick up a spicy tuna salad and tasty rolls or edamame and bring home teriyaki bowls for the non-sushi lovers. I generally call in my order so I can just run in and pick it up. They have self-serve miso, but will dish it up for you if you are picking it up. Sometimes parking at this location is quite challenging.

    (4)
  • Shannon S.

I took my teens here for sushi this afternoon. The baked salmon roll barely had any salmon on it (I couldn't even see it) and was really stuck to the foil. The shrimp tempura roll didn't have avocado on half the roll, the eel special roll was decent, but all the rolls were on the skimpy side. We ordered some albacore sushi and my son and I weren't even sure it was really albacore, again skimpy. The prices are comparable to your average sushi place, but I have to say, their food is less than average. My son kept complaining about the horrible pop music they had blasting. The service was okay.

  • Kelsey O.

10/21/10 Pretty good sushi. Is a chain unlike most sushi available in the valley and it feels that way. My roll was still good though and they do have complimentary miso which is a plus! With so many other options I wouldn't frequent this location except for the fact that it is quick and near shopping. Convenient when running to Target or Lowes. Parking lot is also a little to small for all the eateries in this group, plan on looping a while before finding a spot.

    (2)
  • Shae M.

I've came here a few times and always had the same experience. Really expensive and spoiled fish. Got 3 orders of sushi (2 pc each) and a hand roll. $19.... I didn't even eat the albacore. It was dark colored and tasted extremely spoiled ewies. But it gets 2 stars for free miso soup and super friendly service.

I know--Fast food sushi, not a good idea. That's why I haven't eaten here in the 4 years I've lived in LA. This place is a chain so I see it around every so often. However with a new job close to Burbank's Empire center, I find my choices are either Wendy's, Sbarro, Olive Garden and the like. I decided to branch out and try the McDonalds of Sushi. Overall it was decent. The spicey tuna roll was good. At 8 pieces for about 8 dollars it wasn't an amazing deal, but not the worst. The scallop roll would have been good but they put this spicey hot sauce on it. I recommend you get it without when ordering. Overall I would go back, but I'd be more likely to go more frequently if it were cheaper. $14 gets you: a beverage, miso soup, 8 piece hand cut spicey tuna rolls, 8 piece hand cut scallop roll. They have specials which seem like a better deal so I may go with that next time.

Extremely rude man at the register. Will never come back.

Service is good, but do not get the Ramen. It costs $5 (includes tax) and all you get is cup o' noodles with egg.

This place gives me the squirts, but the service is fast and the food tastes good on the way in, so it's a toss up. Sometimes a violent colon cleansing can be a good thing.

Three stars for the food, one extra star for the service. I have been here several times with my daughter for lunch. While there is nothing especially fancy of unique about this place, it's not a bad choice for lunch. I normally order one of the combos which have yet to disappoint. The extra star for the service goes to the gal that works the register. She's always been very friendly and remembered what we normally ordered. I'm always impressed with restaurants that remember you even if you're not there every week. Not bad. It is what it is.

  • niki h.

Admittedly, this isn't a place I would go out of my way for, but it's close to my office, they're quick, and the food I've had here is decent and reasonably priced. It's also a healthier option than Subway or Daphne's Greek (and lower calorie than Hook). I will say also that their customer service is outstanding. No matter how long I go between visits, there's a girl at the register who ALWAYS remembers me - "How are you? We haven't seen you in a while!" AND remembers my order; that's impressive. If you find yourself in the Empire Center and in the mood for sushi, this place is perfect.

    (4)
  • Jazmin A.

Meehhhhhhh....... When ordering a crunchy scallop roll, there should be scallops in every roll right? When ordering a crunchy scallop roll here though, you will get it in about two of the 6 rolls they serve you. There was one point where I would be craving this place but not so much anymore. Their curry udon though isn't that bad, unless it has changed lately...

  • Liana M.

So I stopped in here while at the Burbank Empire Center and needless to say I was a little skeptical. It really looks like a fast food joint so I didn't know what to expect when it came to the food. Well, I ordered the calamari tempura roll and it was actually quite good! You get eight large pieces of the actual sushi rolls plus about the same amount of just plain old calamari tempura. Definitely filled me up! The only thing I'm still skeptical about is their miso soup. I was offered some for free with my roll and given a styrofoam container. Upon opening it I discovered there was already some seaweed and tofu inside. Uhhh what? I guess it has to do with keeping the soup fresh since they keep the broth in a large container by the soda machine. There's no actual tofu or seaweed in said container. That was a little weird, but other than that I had a good experience.

  • Eric W.

Went there and it's not like the California Roll we're used to in Woodland Hills with a kitchen, wait staff and alcohol (beer/wine). This is counter service and they bring the food to you. It's not bad. We ordered about five plates and while the price was high for counter service, the taste was good. The atmosphere is mediocre considering it's like fast food. I guess if you're really itching for sushi, it can't get less expensive and the quality isn't too bad for take-out. It's better than grocery store sushi.

    (3)
  • Daryl S.

Hmmmm, what to say about this place. The parking is a challenge, both at lunch and dinner times. The sushi just doesn't have enough flavor. I'm not sure how to describe the taste, except there isn't much. Pricing is a little expensive. Sushi comes out quickly and the staff are nice.

    (3)
  • Andrew M.

Love to stop by this joint and grab the teriyaki and soup. Love it when the owner is there. She is really nice and remembers me every time I stop by. Convenient location and hours are good.

  • C H.

We've eaten here a few times, and had different combinations of the teriyaki meals and various sushi rolls. It's a decent option if you are shopping at the empire center and want something quick. But I would never drive to the area just to eat here. The service is quick and the menu is pretty standard. Its easy. There has probably been a time or two when I would've upped the rating to 3 stars, but not on our last couple of visits.

The service was great and food was freshly made to order. Love the shrimp tempura rolls and the stuffed cream cheese jalapeños.

I got a teriyaki beef bowl and miso soup. I love the soup, it's always good. A nice place to chill and relax while you eat good food.

So it was that I had been doing nothing but sleeping and working for about a month. Instead of sleeping during my lunch like I usually do, I took my extra double time pay and decided to spoil myself a bit by leaving my cave. So I went to the nearest center of civilization to look for some food -- Empire Center. In fact, I went twice over the course of one week. I had a chicken teriyaki combo with sushi, and it was alright. I also ordered beef curry rice the second time I went there. Be ready to spend over $5 if you want something filling. This place is as average as average can be, and the quality is about what you would expect from a pricier fast food restaurant. The service has always been pretty good here, but not good enough to really influence my rating of mediocrity. It's a good place for a quick fix if you have no time and you're craving sushi. Otherwise, I wouldn't make plans to go to here unless they were spontaneous or I was in a perpetual state of exhaustion from work.

Slightly overpriced for the quality they give you. The only reason I come here is because it is the closest sushi place to my home. If i feel like driving ten more minutes I will go else where. Thats this place's only niche, there isn't other sushi places nearby. Somebody should open a sushi place to give this place competition. The only thing i like about this place is the unlimited Miso soup. I love miso. The Hawaiian Roll is a favorite and the jalopeno bomb is tasty. Other then that, i agree: fish quality sub par and overpriced! But its close by!!!

Had the teriyaki chicken bento box. The Miso soup was good. The chicken was serviceable, the rice nice, the salad tasty, and the sushi was above average. The hostess was cool and talkative. If you don't mind sticky tables, hit it up!

This place is really good... It is where I get sushi 90% of the time.. They are a little expensive but the food is great and their scallop volcano roll it awesome! Service is always pretty good and they give you free miso soup with your order. I will continue to go here all the time.

Diss! This place is the McDonald's of sushi. And not in a good way. Shame! Serves me right, I guess for hoping to get quick sushi that was any good from a place that has a glaring neon sign advertising Boba and Yogurt. For 10 bucks, I could have gotten a wayyyyy better meal at Sushi Dan. I wasn't expecting the highest of qualities, but I was expecting something that tasted remotely like fish. This was just bland all around, except for the bed of fresh onions that my sashimi was sitting on. Even the side salad sucked and that's hard to get wrong. I should have gotten the Subway next door instead.

My boyfriend and I stopped by for a bite for lunch. The soup was plain, and pour yourself. I got the lunch box with sashimi. It was bland. I started to eat the tuna and right away felt it was a bad decision. I took a bite of the yellow tail and it was disgusting. For the price it would be better to go to a nice sushi place instead. I was in the bathroom for a long time afterwards.

Ok, so I went here for awhile and I actually kinda liked it. But somewhere near my 10th time there, I had an allergic reaction to something that shouldn't have been in my sushi roll in the first place, because I requested for it not to be in there. Since they replaced the cashier I was familiar with, the new one is cold and hot. Sometimes you get attitude from her, which is not appreciated. Even after they messed up my order and sent me into a serious allergic reaction, I decided to give them a second chance. But I was disappointed again, found a hair in my sushi, more stuff I was allergic to (that I had requested NOT be included in my sushi) and that was it. Never going there again.
