El Charro Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Service was great. The scenery was comfortable. Their parking is limited - especially on busy dinners, but their food makes up for it. I absolutely adore their wet burrito and fajitas. Their chips were unlimited and good too. Just so so good. I can't even deal. Haha. Mexican food isn't my favorite food, but wow.... I'm going back and ordering the same thing. Good job y'all.

This place needs help. Its geared for people who have no taste whatsoever. The salsa was tasted more of tomatoes than anything else. I ordered the ultimate burrito with carne asada. The sauce that accompanied the burrito was salty and bland. Gross. This is not "authentic" Mexican food. Its bland, over salted, and made for white people with no taste. My husband had the two combo plate with a chicken enchilada and shredded beef taco. It was edible, but not the best we have ever had. Yea, I am calling out all the people that have reviewed this place and have called it "amazing" and "highly recommended". You do not get out of Beaumont much to truly experience great Mexican food do you? I do not live in Beaumont and do not plan on coming back to this establishment EVER. PS the service was slow, but I really do not rate based on service alone. The food speaks for itself, and it says " I am gross".

Went in on a Sunday afternoon. Chili relleno , chicken taco and chicken enchilada are all excellent. The chili in the Relleno was fresh. It was refreshing that the beans were not overly salty and the rice was fluffy and flavorful. Service was great everyone who work there seemed friendly and interested in your experience. There wasn't the usual "that's not my table" sort of attitude. Restaurant and restrooms are clean. Will definitely go back!t

All time favorite Mexican place The people are amazing and the food is to die for! Shrimp fajitas are my all time favorite! I highly recommend!!!

  • Tammy H.

They have gotten way too pricy and service isn't as good. Have stopped going there. Best cheese enchiladas around though!

  • Tiffany T.

Amazing!! The chips and salsa are what make or break a Mexican restaurant for me! And there's are so delicious!! We are definitely regulars there!!

    (4)
  • Brandi T.

Their food is good but has gone down hill in the last year! Their prices have gone out of control! Ala cart taquitos are $5.50 for 3 ..Really?!! They have started to nickel and dime you; charging $1 for a side of onions or a side of sour cream! They need to realize that's how you loose customers... Good returning customers!

Loved this place. The waitresses were all Mexican, sweet and helpful. They were so interested in ensuring that we loved our experience. The food is delicious and the interior is clean, fun and inviting. I know it's hard to save room for dessert in a Mexican restaurant but you really should try the churros with three different sauces and the fried ice cream. I loved this place. Come and have fun.

This place is my grandparents favorite Mexican restaurant, and after dining there, I can see why! The service is excellent and the waiters were all prompt and friendly. The chips and salsa were delicious and the guacamole is to die for! Unlike most places that water it down and add fillers, their guacamole is pure chunky, avocado goodness! The reason I gave them four stars was because my main dish of enchiladas suizas was kind of bland. Everyone else at my table was raving about their dishes, I just feel like I made a bad choice. The enchiladas weren't bad by any means, just nothing really spectacular; However, I had a delicious flan for dessert that sort of redeemed my dinner. In short, the food was yummy, but the best part of my experience was the service! The staff was wonderful and I would definitely give them another shot to see what else they have to offer (but I probably won't get enchiladas next time).

  • Mariah S.

I love this place great athentic food. Great service. What I loved the most is to see the manager out on the floor. She even came to my table to see how I was doing..

    (5)
  • Jill B.

I can only comment on the chicken enchiladas, beans, and rice because I order the same food every time I eat there. Trust me when I say it is the very best Mexican food in all the land, and I have eaten my share of Mexican food throughout southern CA. Staff have always been so nice and friendly. Food prices are reasonable and it is one of my favorite places to eat.

    (5)
  • Darlene S.

I ordered the chile verde chimichanga minus the beans. They forgot to give me rice (the meal comes with rice and beans). The chimichanga was filled primarily with rice, very little meat. We don't plan on going there again.

  • Leeanna C.

People review this place and say that the food is so great but I just don't see it. It's good, but not great... you know. Last time I went, there was flies making their rounds here and the staff wasn't friendly. They were just kinda of there with a bland facial expression. Maybe it was the time I went? I am not sure. I would go again just to try and find something "great", since I haven't found anything I love yet. But, nothing stood out about the service or the food thus far. Hopefully I can update my review with good news soon.

We like the food. Great burritos, combo plates and Chili Rellenos. Also specialty fish dishes are good. Nice staff too

  • Kelsey G.

Of the many choices us Southern Californians have for Mexican food, I have to say that El Charro in Cherry Valley really stands out! Great service, great food, and a laid back atmosphere. I could literally eat their salsa with a spoon (or take it through an IV) and I really love their albondigas soup! They are truly a gem for authentic, quality Mexican food in the Pass Area.

    (5)
  • Mindy A.

Great food! Friendly service! We will definitely be back. They have great selection of cold beers too.

    (5)
  • Rick K.

Their food used to be the best when they were the only game in town. Now it's greasy. I prefer la Casita and Tacos n Beer.

  • Traci M.

Unfortunately this place has gone downhill. They raised the prices quite a bit and the quality has dropped emesnly. My friend ordered a carne asada burrito and when he started eating it he realized there was only a handful of carne asada. He then told our waitress and she took it back, she then returned and told us that the cooks and manager told her to come ask him if he wanted another one, he told her yes (obviously he wanted another one) the next one to come had less meat than the first. We will not be coming back here. The management is a joke.

  • Dex D.

Good food, good service and good prices. That's what is all about. Well done id say !

    (4)
  • Matt L.

Ate here for the first time. The chili relleno burrito is one of the best I have ever had. What I like best is that the chili was not smother with greasy egg batter. Exellent flavor! Good chips and salsa too!

    (5)
  • V. M.

El Charro's food is delicious. I love this place. It is definitely the best tasting Mexican food restaurant in town. Their salsa is my favorite. I highly recommend this place.

  • Charles W.

Won't return, have been dining several months.Happy experience, but last visit was short changed and overcharged for take out order.Ordered foo to go go,ask for additional bean and rice order.I was charged $4.49 for half cup of Belen's and rice, after getting home also found that burrito was supposed to already have both inside.needless to say I won't support getting ripped off. Will never return.nor will all my associates.I believe this is not good business, apparently desperate to make more profit?Dont think customers should tolerate this scam

    (1)
  • Steve W.

Love this place! The perfect hole in the wall Mexican food! Great nachos and burritos. I've been coming here for years. Staff is friendly and food is good. Not really any bad choices. Weekend nights this place will be packed, but it's worth the wait

    (4)
  • Victoria A.

Food is good but prices are ridiculous. They charged me 3 dollars for a small cup of milk for my 2 year old. and 1.99 for the smalles side of sour cream and they wont let you know the prices until after you eat it. Wont go back because of the prices.

    (1)
  • Kevin B.

Love this place... Staff is friendly, food is the best and prices are reasonable. The Salsa here needs to be marketed. Fajitas come out sizzling, beer ice cold, burritos are huge, tacos are great (need a taco Tuesday) only thing that really disappoints me is the enchilada, it's just meat wrapped in a tortilla covered in sauce and cheese (non authentic). Other then that 5 stars hands down.

    (5)
  • Jane D.

Great food and friendly staff! We have been going for years but today my wife and I ordered our normal and got the bill and was shocked to see a big increase in the prices. We will be going much less now.

    (3)
  • Elissa G.

I LOVE the food! Excellent food. Awesome service. I frequent this place at least 3-4 times a month. Their breakfast burritos are amazing, and I love their carne asada! Their ingredients are so fresh and delicious. You can tell they keep the place super clean, too. I sat behind the bar one time, and watched the waitresses serve chips - they made sure to put on a new pair of plastic gloves before grabbing the chips. They're constantly cleaning/sweeping, and the waitresses always have a nice, friendly smile on their face. The only complaint I have is that they're not open 24/7. :) I love El Charro!

    (5)
  • Gus H.

Long waite, food was cold, actually wasn't good at all, mcdonalds mex food is a notch up from here

    (1)
  • Laura M.

I love this place. The food is the best in the area, the best for miles actually. I've been going here since they first opened years ago. They changed from Coke to Pepsi a few months ago which SUCKS and it seems like the quality of service has been slacking lately. Overall I do recommended eating here, I go weekly!

    (4)
  • Elaine F.

Not sure what happened? Seems like prices went up and its not as yummy as it used to be :( perhaps things will get better, oh I also thought it was wierd when I questioned the price for my pick up order they "lost" the itemized reciept, I told them I needed it for work. I finally agreed to pay the quoted price but it seemed high and I have not gone back since

    (3)
  • Daisy F.

Chips and salsa all I got to say. Absolute amazing best Mexican food in Beaumont. Haven't been to all but this one is on the list to always come back to.....

    (5)
  • Angela J.

The only reason I gave two stars was becaause of the service or else it would have been one star. The service is good but the food is definitely not authentic. Coming from a person experienced in Mexican cuisine I can definitely say this isn't authentic. The rice and beans alone were unsatisfying. Unfortunately won't be coming back again.

    (2)
  • Natalie F.

As much as I once loved this place its just not the same. Lunch for 3 was over 30$ and its a disappointment they still have no lunch specials. They charge to add onions to a very bland cheese enchilada. They only offer one size drinks, and the service just isn't the same. I don't see my family going back. I love to support local family businesses, but they don't seem to want to keep local business.

    (2)
  • Katzu C.

I used to love this place, the food is pretty good and the people are really nice. The only thing is that recently I've noticed that the prices have gone up dramatically!! I guess because they are busy and have a good customer base - AND there are very few places to eat in Beaumont, they raised their prices a LOT. If the food was great -ok, but it's just good, not great.

    (3)
  • Jeremy H.

Best Mexican food around, the chips and salsa are amazing and the chicken is always high quality, I recommend the chicken/ steak fajitas.

    (5)
  • Ryan B.

El Charro is the best Mexican Food Joint in the Pass area. The food is delicious and the chips and salsa are to die for. The service was great and the price is reasonable.

    (5)
  • Jennifer M.

I've been going to this restaurant at least 2-3x a month since it opened. The food and service is excellent. They have the best chips in town. Recently the prices have gone up. I don't mind paying an extra dollar for an entry but they are nickel and diming their customers. They charged me $2 for a small dollop of sour cream, $1 for a extra tortilla and $3 for a soda. The tacos are excellent but not worth $3.60 each. The bill for three tacos ala carte and one item combo was $29.00. The Mexican food is this region is good. I think it's time to explore my options. I'll be back El Charo but a lot less often.

    (2)
  • Carrie V.

The breakfast burritos are the best! Love the use of beans in place of potatoes and they pair perfectly with their salsa! Best hole in the wall Mexican food around town for sure! Everything I have had here is great but nothing beats their breakfast!

    (5)
  • Kory K.

The food here is good... Not AWESOME, but good... The best for that area definately. The restaurant leaves a little to be desired as far as decor, and at full restaurant prices I would expect a little nicer. However, the staff is very prompt and pleasant. I just wish you got a little more for your money...

    (3)
  • Amanda E.

This restaurant is very family-friendly! It feels inviting, a bit dark, but absolutely comfortable! All the employees do their best to make their customers happy and every meal is hot and delicious. The one flaw: their salsa bowls are too small!! And they serve Pepsi not coke.

    (5)
  • Edward B.

Great food, just a little slow to get served.

    (4)
  • mariano g.

I have been coming to El Charros for a bit over 6 years. In the area this restaurant is by far the best . The quality of food and service are great . I recommend people to try it if they haven't .Maybe not quite the cheapest but I don't mind paying extra for good food and service

    (5)
  • Gary L.

I go here all the time with my family. Food's good, service is prompt. I like the chimichangas and quesadillas the most. No complaints here.

    (5)
  • Heidi M.

In town for baseball and came here because of the reviews. Salsa was outstanding and the breakfast plates we ordered were very good. They even made chilaquiles for my son which weren't in the menu.

    (5)
  • Riley F.

The service and staff were excellent, but the food did not match. My girlfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch and were warmly greeting and promptly seated. We both ordered different entrees and we both commented the food was bland. The chips did not taste fresh and the items in the combination plates needed salsa to kick up the flavor. I would probably try this place again to give it another chance as we received a very favorable recommendation from friends.

    (3)
  • Dylan B.

I absolutely love this place. I give it a five star because I have always been satisfied here. The food is great, the atmosphere can be peaceful or loud (depending on the crowd), employees are always kind, the prices are reasonable, and their cleanliness in the restaurant is super. I will always recommend this place if it continues to be exactly the way it is or if it gets even better!

    (5)
  • Carrie W.

Our go to mexican food place ! Burritos and chimichangas never disappoint. They are always super stuffed. The chips and salsa are phenomenal. I've never had a rude waiter/waitress here. It is true they have raised the prices but it's not that bad. Before it was only $6 for a ginormous burrito! I believe it's something like $8 now. The only gripe I have is that unless you get seated in the back tables, it will be very noisy.

    (4)
  • Gene D.

Prices very fair, portions are large, food is hot & quality is excellent. You will not be disappointed & they will not empty your wallet. If you have not been there - try it!

    (5)
  • Rick B.

Really Good Fajitas and great service. Ive been there twice now and both times the food and the service were very consistant. The burrito I had the first time was flavorful and good size too. Comeing from LA/Log Beach I could say I have had better chips but they are authentic style otherwise I might be forced to give El Charro a 5 star rating. I must say I thought this place was takeout only because of the pictures and the sign. However They do have a dining area off to the right. This is great location to stop for anyone going to Oak Glen or hungry locals. They could use better signage and or a front patio to let folks know that they are there. the decor is a little dated but typical for the area.

    (4)
  • Chuck T.

Stopped here with a co worker while working in Beaumont. I must say this place is a hidden gem! Great service, great food and nice ambience. I got the carne asada chimichanga and must say it was probably the best ive had! Gotta figure out a way to come back here again!!

    (5)
  • Quinn C.

The food and service are good. The decor is outdated though. I know that's probably not the most important thing about a restaurant but it could use some updating. I went into the ladies' restroom and there is a hole in the wall along with a cracked mirror. Things like that should be fixed. It makes me wonder what's "behind the scenes".

    (4)
  • Carrie N.

Love this place! great food friendly staff! would highly recommend this place! this place is clean, they are reasonable! and the salsa is the best I have ever had!

    (5)
  • Jimmy E.

I don't get out this way often, visiting mother-in-law in the area... But this place definitely is worth the otherwise painful trip. Just kidding, sort of. Anyways, seems mostly like a locals spot in this small town off the normal grid, and is a must for me now. Got the beef taco chicken enchilada combo, the taco was excellent! Enchilada very tasty, beans and rice added to the flavor I received. The salsa is amazing! closes early like 8 on weekends 7 during the week, they were Turning people away at 8 on Saturday. Nestled in a small strip mall next to City Sushi! Lol if anyone remembers the South Park episode? 70 mile trip one way for me, worth it while in town for sure...

    (5)
  • John M.

This place was decent. I had the beef that everyone was raving about. I'd say it is as good as it can get for area.

    (3)
  • Sandra M.

The food and service is great....love the fajitas!!

    (5)
  • Dana H.

My husband and have been coming here since they opened. The food is always great and the service is super good. The seafood dishes are amazing and the carne asada is some of the best I have had! The only bummer for me is they only have wine and beer. Its a great little neighborhood place!

    (4)
  • Gregory N.

GOOD PLACE!!! been in the pass area for only 8 mths. and all the folks at sun lakes say give this place a try. Taco salad was the best the wife has eaten and the chili colorado burrito was like home. spent 15.06 on the meal. the service was great so I left a 5 dollar tip so for 20 dollars we left very happy. will be back

    (4)
  • Anon A.

The chile verde burrito is the only thing I order here. The addition of salsa and chips is outstanding and taste delicious as well. Maybe some salt would be nice on the chips but that's just me. The chile verde is chunky like Rosa Maria's and not the shitty food aged in salt down the street named El Mariachi. Perfect amount of chile verde sauce. However the meat is a bit plain but the sauce and beans cover up for it. The price has went up to over $7 on the burrito and have yet to go back. Once the price goes down I'll be back on a few times a week basis as I once was.

    (5)
  • Maria P.

Not so much to look at on the inside or outside, but their service is great and I love their chips and salsa. Food taste good and my husband who doesn't really care too much for Mexican food really enjoys it.

  • sheldon k.

Recently moved from LA. Thought we knew Mexican food. One word describes this establishment. Fabulous! Nicest servers I have ever met. RitzCarlton attentiveness. Two sauces for chips, the roasted tomatillo is addictive. Fish was in a wonderful Veracruz sauce, fresh and great to the last bite. The burrito supreme is supreme with fresh flavors surprising my mouth. Can't wait to return and try dessert I was just to full.

    (5)
  • Don T.

El Charro is our go to place for a great meal, friendly service, at a reasonable price. Everything that we've tried from the menu is very good, and the salsa is a very close second to what my wife makes at home. We've tried others here in Beaumont but always felt El Charro is the best. The menu is is geared more for lunch and dinner but don't underestimate the very good selections for a Mexican breakfast. Our whole family loves to go there. If you try it, you won't be disappointed.

    (5)
  • Julie T.

Stopped in after it was recommended by a local merchant and wasn't disappointed. The food was clean, not swimming is grease and I didn't keep "experiencing" the refried beans for hours afterwards, concluding they don't use lard. Chips and salsa were addicting and the service was great. Had fish tacos which were fresh, they didn't cheat by throwing a frozen, battered fish finger in a tortilla Plus you gotta love the vibrant vintage themed Senorita fabric used as upholstery, all those gorgeous, smiling ladies swimming in flowers. Ole'!

  • Ricky P.

Great food!!! Totally Mexican Style. I feel like home. The salsa is delicious! I really love to go eat here.

    (5)
  • Jacquelyn T.

Not authentic, not good. The beans are tasteless, and I've rarely had anything close to acceptable. They NEVER get the to go order right. I would rather drive to Yucaipa, Moreno Valley or Palm Springs to get good Mexican food, even though I live 3 minutes from El Charro.

    (1)
  • David S.

Best chips and salsa ever! They're portions are pretty large and everything I've tried there is bomb. And if you need menudo Sunday morning after a long night of drinking, then this is your place.

    (4)
  • David D.

We heard about this place from a resident in our community and decided to give it a try. My wife and I were very pleased with the service - very attentive and friendly. The food came in large portions and was flavorful. We'll go back again!

Stopped in for an early light dinner on 5/25/13. Lime margaritas for $3.25 were very reasonable and tasty! The chips and salsa were great too...chips nice & crisp, salsa chunky and just the right spiciness. We chose from the a la carte menu - an order of taquitos with chicken, and an order of two carne asada tacos. The food was served up very promptly and piping hot. I loved the taquitos....they had lots of moist flavorful chicken, and the outside tortilla was light and crisp (not chewy & greasy like so many places). The three pieces, accompanied with fresh guacamole and pico de gallo, were just the right amount. They would also make for a great appetizer plate for two. My partner had the carne asada tacos and he said they were delicious and also just the right proportion. The meat was flavorful and chopped not too small and was accompanied with cabbage, onions, and cilantro, and placed on two warm flour tortillas. He declared that these carne asada tacos were better than the usual carne asada burrito he normally orders. Altogether, the meal was great, served up by a very efficient and friendly waitress, and the total bill (including the margaritas) was only a bit over $17 dollars...a nice surprise. We definitely like this place and will come again.

  • Faith R.

Don't understand all the 5 star reviews. Have been here a few times with other family members that love this place. They do have good service but they are slow and the food has absolutely no flavor!

    (2)
  • patty u.

A sweet home away from home restaurant to me. Everything I've tried taste fresh and homemade. The service is wonderful and friendly...servings are filling not skimpy, presentation is simple, ambience is what a Mexican restaurant should be...everything about this place screams 'Come back again, its All Deelish!'

    (4)
  • Pamela B.

Great & affordable mexican food. The staff are very nice & on the ball. No waiting unnecessarily. Crowded alot of the time, so I started getting my meals to go!

    (5)
  • Clinton B.

Never had a bad meal yet. Staff is friendly. Don't be afraid to flag down any of them if you need something, they are more than willing to get it for you.

  • Tony K.

We alway meet our friends who live up the hill here. They serve really good authentic Mexican food here. We've never been dissappointed with anything we've ordered here. The chips and salsa are good and endless. The service is always quick and very friendly. Without a doubt we will be coming back.

    (4)
  • Brad N.

Great local Mexican fare. Service is outstanding. The staff is always pleasant and very attentive. Chips and salsa rock! Steak fajitas are spicy and sizzling' off the grill. On a Friday or Saturday night the place is hopping and these folks never miss a beat. They work hard at making your dining experience a good one... and they even serve breakfast all day. Ever had an omelet with a couple of margaritas? This is the place! I'm coming back and telling everyone I know to stop in.

    (5)
  • Kelli R.

Chips good, service good, food not so much.

I've been here three times...... let's start off with that.... My grandparents have always lived in this area, and my parent's bought a house here two years ago..... Out of all the little Mexican restaurants in the vicinity, El Charro definitely takes the cake!! Even on major dinner holidays (Mother's/Father's Day, Easter, etc) and even on the weekend, it never gets crowded. People come in at a constant pace, so that it's never empty. The servers are probably the most friendly that I've seen in the most recent while. Very attentive, articulate, they never rush you, and just always seem to be happy to be there. They always start you out with their own-made chips and salsa and aren't stingy at all. **Just a fair warning, the salsa can be spicy sometimes** Their drink cups are HUGE and you get free refills. I personally recommend the Chicken Fajitas plate, as I always get that when I'm here. The chicken and vegetables are cooked to perfection, the chicken is always moist and the vegetables crunchy, and both are flavorful. It also comes with either Flour or Corn tortillas (in threes) but you can ask for more at no additional charge. You also get a separate plate of rice, beans and cheese, with guacamole and sour cream. It truly is a very satisfying experience and I don't think you could ever be disappointed.

  • Tiffany D.

Love their food. Can't beat their chips and salsa!

    (5)
  • L S.

Gosh I love this food. Been going here since '06. I remember this specific location constantly changing restaurants and never surviving. But this one is doing great. The chips and salsa are delicious, and I can't help but to always order the chicken enchiladas and chicken soft tacos. Not a huge fan of the beans and rice on the side... so ordering al a carte makes me plenty happy. Albondigas and veg soup is also great!

    (5)
  • lori o.

This is where I go when I don't want food or service disappointment. I know what I'll get here. Good chips and salsa (i like more pico de gallo) excellent shrimp cocktail (perfect for hot weather), good tacos and tostados. The Chili Rellano is only so-so and the tomales don't have enough meat. BUT! The service is almost always excellent. Sit in the back room where it's quieter and relax.

    (4)
  • Roberta S.

This restaurant is always great. I have been in there 3 or 4 times when I am out in the area on business, and I have had take-out ordered from there several times. The tacos and chile rellenos are good, and the service is always prompt and friendly. I would recommend it. I'm looking forward to going there again this Saturday!

dont put a phone order call in it will take you 4 driffent times to get your order in

    (1)

Not bad, prices are great, service is fast, can get busy at times, but so do most places that have good food.

    (4)
  • Scott S.

Every time we go to El Charro, it is an enjoyable meal. They do a good job with the fajitas, carne asada burrito and enchilada's. The shrimp cocktail is good, and the drinks are so large I feel like I ordered a super big gulp. This is now my go-to mexican restaurant in the area since Pitaya's closed down.

    (3)
  • M J.

El Charro has excellent food! Friendly service. Try the sizzling fajitas! Excellent. We also get take out from El Charro from time to time. The only negative is that they changed the lighting about a year ago. Now it is SUPER bright in there! Ruins the ambiance. It won't stop me from going. I just might take my sunglasses in with me! LOL!

    (5)
  • Richard F.

The service is so good and kind that this place earned a star they wouldn't have had otherwise. The food is good for the area but not special, portions large, salsa not very hot but has some real flavor. Sangria is tasty, prices low. Servers are super helpful and friendly, and they make the difference.

Since the 1st day I moved to Beaumont, I have loved El Charro. I've eaten at a lot of Mexican food restaurants and they are one of the best places I have found from LA to Palm Springs. Their chips and salsa are always perfect and brought to the table very promptly after you are seated. They have HUGE cups which is awesome becasue I drink a lot and I hate having to wait/bug the waitress for refills constantly. I usually order the same thing which is the chicken taquitos. They are always delicioius and all white meat mmm. Their beans and rice are really good too. But the chicken tortilla soup, fajitas, or nachos are always good options too!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
