Much better experience tonight! First, the bar area is once again adults-only. Thank you! There were three of us tonight. We quickly found a clean table in the bar, and our server brought us drinks immediately. We needed a moment to read the new menu, but she didn't forget about us. When we were ready to order, she was there. Two of us ordered and received the burgers we expected. My wife, though, realized she hadn't said "soy burger" when she ordered until after a meat burger arrived. Even though it was my wife's mistake, our server cheerfully remade the burger and made sure we were only charged once. She also pleasantly tolerated all our nitpicky special ordering; I was impressed enough to leave a 35% tip. Looking forward to more fun and fine meals here.

Was it the 19 year old outside cursing more in a sentence than I do in a year? Was it the bribery to make us feel special to receive fries before our meal, right after the table next to us receives the same? Was it the lettuce wrap sandwich that made me feel like I was eating a bbq iceberg lettuce? Was it the self checkout which we couldn't self checkout because they were on misplaced tables? The waitress gave great effort, given her unfortunate environment, providing gracious refills and fries and a positive outlook on our split check request. Whatever it was, Red Robin Bakersfield delivers as you may expect, and as much as I sympathize for chain restaurants facing culinary yelp reviewing snobs, this experience cannot exceed three stars.

I am at the red Robin in Valley Plaza right now in the restroom and this is the filthiest most disgusting thing I have ever seen. Every toilet is plugged or has something on it or in it. There is toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor. On the stall doors every purse hook is broken so you can't hang your purse anywhere which is very unsanitary. The door latches are also all broken although one of them did manage to shut and snap closed. The trashcan is overflowing, there's water and soap all over the counter. The place looks like it's being remodeled but that's no excuse for this bathroom to be this filthy. Also, the entire place reeks of some smell that smells like paint thinner or varnish or something equally strong. I can't believe they're serving food in this atmosphere. We are turning around and leaving. We just came in to eat and I came to use the restroom first, but we are leaving. My companion complained that he was starving and insisted on staying and eating so we did (against my wishes.) We went to sit in the bar and every single table was dirty and filled with glasses and whatnot. I went over to the woman standing at the front counter and told her about the dirty bathrooms and the dirty tables and she said she would see what she could do to get a table cleaned off right away. There was ONE server in the bar and I counted SEVEN tables full of people. He was also having to bus all of those tables. I ordered fish and chips with extra lemon and no tartar sauce and I received a fish sandwich. When I complained about receiving the wrong order, I received an apology and the server stated he would bring the correct order out. I again asked for fish and chips with extra lemon and no tartar sauce and received tartar sauce and three pieces of lemon. No one ever checked our drinks. Now I am not complaining about our server because he was running as fast as he possibly could to fulfill all of these orders with no one else in the bar to help him yet there were two women and a guy hanging around in the bar area doing nothing to help him. They were just standing around and flirting and joking with each other, and completely ignoring customers. This business was severely understaffed and I don't believe that it should've been serving customers with ripped off wallpaper and that obnoxious smell and filthy bathrooms and not enough help. The food was good but I left there with a headache from that strong odor. PS: My companion ordered a burger and fries and he got what he ordered and enjoyed it. No complaints about the actual food.

Red Robin as a chain has great food and this one surely is no different. I had the Bleu Ribbon Burger which comes with a tangy sauce and bleu cheese, it was phenomenal. I also got a Berry Lemonade which I can't remember the name of but it was also very good. Would recommend to anyone near the mall looking for something to eat.

Would have gotten five stars but the host was not hosting! I guess we didn't look important enough to be helped , I say this because we should there waiting for five minutes while we watched Angelica HOST a couple of people that just walked in wearing business clothes. I bet she didn't think I'd be writing this! Food was great hot and on time Kim our waitress was very fast and very nice outstanding service from her she even went out of her way to give us a discontinued appetizer. So if you come to eat bring a jacket it's cold and ask for Kim who got a 8 star rating! Bathrooms and tables can improve on cleanness !

we visited red robin yesterday with a party of 13, we reserved a table ahead of time, when we arrived the seating was ready. We had a great waiter that was very friendly and attentive with our orders.Every one enjoyed there food and drinks, I especially enjoy there veggie burgers and there all you can eat french fries. The Dinning area and restrooms were very clean.

Doing some hard shopping leads to a hungry stomach, & what's better than a juicy burger & an ice cold strawberry lemonade, NOTHING. Was less than impressed walking into the bar area to find only one cleared off table, but we were the lucky ones. Service was quick, attentive and I had no problem leaving a well deserved tip. Red Robin will always be my go-to place in the mall.

If you're looking for consistently great crafted burgers Red Robin is one of those places. Great atmosphere, and even better decor (oh and the drinks are to mentioned as well) This place is an all around wonderful experience wether with the fam or with friends with kids or just two of you. A definite spot to call one of my regulars!!!

Sat at the Bar, the bartender was very nice greeted us and gave us a menu, took our drink orders. Had a Blue Moon and Sam Adams October fest, booth so good with the Whiskey BBQ burger and fish and chips. Both new things I haven't tried finished both. The company at the bar was interesting everyone knew one another and they were all so nice an had great conversations. Wanted to try what the bartender called a Lunch Box but the bartender was new and didn't remember how to make it.

Honestly two stars is being kind, but the hostess was extremely polite so she gained the second star. We ordered our drinks along with our daughters dinner so she wouldn't go berserk, we then ordered our meals a few minutes. We ordered the grilled chick on a stick for our daughter, my wife ordered the bacon guacamole burger, and I ordered the tried and true Royal burger. My wife asked for her burger medium rare and I asked for the egg on my burger to be over medium. I also asked for the garlic fries (shame on you red robin. I'll touch on this in a bit) Our food arrived shortly after. So much for ordering our daughters food ahead of ours. My daughters chicken was not even luke warm, my wife's burger had almost no guacamole and the egg on my burger looked like it had been microwaved. And my "garlic fries"....seriously you guys? How many corners are you going to cut now? The fries simply had garlic powder sprinkled on them. What happen to the old Red Robin? Year after year you guys cut more and more corners. How the hell were you ranked one of the best burgers? The quality of the meat has simply tanked over the years. I waited several minutes for our server to pop back up. When I drew his attention to the egg on my burger he seemed to have no idea what the problem was. I expressed that I ordered the egg over medium and it looks like it has been sitting under the heat lamp all night and over cooked the egg. He asked if I would like another egg. I said sure that fine, knowing by the time the new egg came out the burger would be cold. While waiting for the new egg I noticed almost all of his tables were having issues. The table directly behind us complained of mayonnaise on her burger after she requested no mayo. He was very quick to apologize and offer to make her a hole new burger. At that point my jaw just dropped. I'm sitting here waiting for an egg and she gets a new burger because of mayo(I get it, they can't just wipe the mayo off). Few more minutes goes by and a woman comes from the kitchen dragging her feet across the floor the entire way to our table and ask who ordered the side egg. This new egg was crispy to all hell and also almost over cooked, at least there was a little bit of a yolk left in this one. Needless to say I hope this was the final fail so my wife stops asking for Red Robin. I was hoping she would have said Eureka burger but she was craving the good old guacamole bacon burger that Red Robin use to serve before they became Carl's Jr. Get it together you guys! This place has slowly, year by year, gotten worse and worse.

Great, American food! Delicious burgers! Convenient for shoppers. In the mall, next to Target & a movie theater!

Ate here with my sister for lunch. Our bill was 27.00 for the both of us. It cost .99 to upgrade to "herb fries" which are regular fries with dried spices sprinkles on top. Not worth the .99 up charge. I can't believe the price for a freckled lemonade. It is my favorite drink but I will not pay 4.79 for a non alcoholic lemonade beverage, anymore. Way to pricey. Overall a good place to eat. Friendly staff. And bottomless fries!

I love Red Robin. I love their fries. I love their burgers. Our visit last week, however, missed the mark. The burger I ordered was cooked well but just seemed to lack flavor. I went to the fries in hopes of finding some flavor and was disappointed. My fiance assured me it was not just me and his meal was also below expectations. Maybe it was an off night, or maybe this location is going down hill. I will most likely go here again for a redemption visit but it won't be soon.

Been here before a few times but was a year or two ago and had a good experience. Though I recently ate here again and the experience wasn't as nice. I ordered a Caesar wrap and my family had burgers. The wrap wasn't the best as it seemed they were a bit skimpy on the ingredients, though the redeeming quality was it did include bottomless fries. Next time I will order something better because I know their burgers and shakes are good. Took a very long time for us to receive our food though it was a Saturday night. Our waitress was friendly and quick when possible. Our check was messed up our table had the wrong machine and after it was switched back we were charged extra drinks but it was resolved. I will be returning though because my experience seemed circumstantial.

Came to eat here today but for some reason the rewards card would not go through with the promotion. Javier, the manager, came by our table and fixed it right away. Great way to continue my birthday month! Thanks Javier we definitely will be coming back just for the amazing service

Exceptional service from Lamar. (I believe that's his name.) Exceptional food. Wish the location wasn't in the mall though. It draws an "interesting" clientele and I didn't enjoy the guy behind me continuously hacking the contents of his lungs into a napkin throughout my meal. Disgusting. Totally not the restaurants fault though. Red Robin come to the northwest!

Maybe it was a bad day but the service was really bad!!!! The drinks (margarita) was all ice. when I ordered another drink I asked please may I have less ice and the excuse was sorry there's a new bartender... And my new drink had even more ice!!!! The waitress don't get me wrong was very nice but she was so overwhelmed that it seemed like she was the only one working (Erica). Last time I go to red Robin I'm not happy at all.

To begin, I'm giving two stars just for the fact that the wait staff was polite, although apparently forgetful. My boyfriend ordered a burger and bottomless fries, zero problems on his end, so maybe I should up it to three stars. I got the Whiskey Rio salad, or whatever it's called. It said it came with lime, and as I'm a big fan of lime juice on my salad (and we like to use it on our fries) I asked for extra. The salad was brought with no lime, which, whatever, maybe they confused extra lime with me asking for no lime. Who knows, maybe they misunderstood what they wrote down. But, when we received the food, I asked about it, and she said it would be brought right away. About five minutes later, someone else stopped by our table to ask how things were going, by then I'd also noticed my salad didn't come with any dressing, although the description said it came with ranch, I think. Not wanting to complain further, I ignored it, but my boyfriend spoke up about still not receiving the lime. Again we were reassured it'd be out right away (we were just about done with our meal by the time it was actually brought.) We just signed up for the Loyalty program thing, but I'm certain we won't be back to use it, as it doesn't seem worth paying $11 for a salad missing two of the main ingredients. It was basically lettuce, a very small piece of chicken, two slices of avocado, and some diced tomatoes/peppers. If I'm going to pay that much I expect it to be better than something you could buy at a fast food place, (and at least they'd probably remember all the ingredients!) So basically, to sum up a rambling story: -Staff was polite, but repeatedly forgot to bring what was requested. -Dressing and lime were both missing from the salad

The five stars is for our bartender Kim! It was her first day back after maternity leave and she was the bomb! Poor girl had an amazing attitude, even after only a couple hours sleep with a newborn! She was attentive, personable and it was obvious that the regulars were glad she was back too! I don't usually frequent the mall, but had a few hours to kill while my phone was at the Apple Store. I would definitely return knowing Kim would be our girl.

I go here at least once a month usually on payday after work. The food is great and honestly the service here is excellent, i'd dare to say the people who serve the bar side are the most welcoming and friendly people I've ever received service from.

My boyfriend loves coming to Red Robin because it's convenient while shopping in the mall or Target. We recently went during lunch time and boy, our service was bad. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and our server quickly appeared to take our drink orders, but we didn't see her much after that. I wanted to order an appetizer and tried to use the ziosk things they have on the table but ours wasn't working. We got another waitress to get ours and she said she would reset it and to try it 2 minutes so that we could order. We waited, & tried but still nothing worked. She finally got our appetizer order in after hitting the "call server" button twice and then left without taking our food order. A food runner brought our appetizer and then she finally came to take our order but didn't realize that both of us needed refills. It took awhile to get those and after most of the crowd left she said "finally, I can stop running around." Service was just a miss. Maybe it was just the lunch rush because I'm not used to coming here and getting that, but the food wasn't great either. I'll take a break from coming here.

My burger was delicious, BUT the first batch of fries were hard. No celery/ranch with the chicken wings (disappointed). It took them OVER 30 minutes to get our food (for three). We had to ask for a booth to get cleaned. Our waitress only acknowledged us after we pushed the call button on their new electronic device. I use to be a HUGH fan, but left the restaurant with one thought..."Where will go next time instead for a good burger"

Super dirty restaurant. Greasy table food on lamp ceiling tiles have rust stains on them ... Our waiter was nice. Manager didn't care we complained about cleanliness. Just said they are getting a remodel in January !? What about now ...the greasy crappy stuff and food on lamps. Gross.

Right off I knocked a star from the rating just because of their location - a mall. I don't like going to the Valley Plaza mall. It's unsafe, there are too many people, etc. But I go there for Red Robin. The other star was taken off for the service I received. I sat down with no napkins or utensils at my table. I ordered the riblets, so I think I would need some napkins. My party received our food quickly, so fast that we didn't have our drinks yet. They were specialty drinks, but still, drinks should come with the food at least. The food was great though. Red Robin always has good food going for it at the right price. So that is always a bonus when I go. I have no complaints about that. Now the bill came and was $10 more than expected. I ordered a root beer float for my drink and my friend ordered some purple non-alcoholic drink. My root beer float was advertised as bottomless, and my friends drink was on the same page as the other bottomless drinks. However, we were charged each time we received a refill. The worst part is that the waiter didn't even know the specialty drink my friend ordered! We disputed the bill and they said my root beer float was bottomless, but the other drink was not. When we were leaving we checked the menu, and sure enough, it was on the same page as the other drinks that were bottomless. So they lost a star for that. My recommendation is that you thoroughly check your bill before you pay. However, the food is decent enough to deal with that headache.

My burger was cold, so I requested that they warm it up. Instead they brought me another one that was also cold. I didn't bother sending it back again. To make matters worse, they charged me for the second burger, which I didn't order. So I had to request that they remove the charge. The only good thing about lunch was Blue moon draft beer. I'll think twice before dinning over here again. It's a shame, since in the past I had many good dinning experiences here, but something has changed.

Will Go Back!!!! Husband and I went for dinner on a Monday night. Was busy but got table right away. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive filling up drinks and checking on us. I ordered some sort of whisky BBQ burger with crispy onions on it. Husband ordered fish and chips. While waiting for order I was looking at the tablet on table and saw they have bottomless root beer floats! Husband said next time he will get one instead of the strawberry lemonade with real strawberries in it. (That means there is a next time!) Our order came quickly even though the place was busy. My burger was so big I had to cut it first and after first half was done I could only eat part of the inside with a fork ( ate all the crispy onions they were yummy!) I usually don't care for fish, but the fish and chips my husband ordered looked so good, I might just order it next time. Not only were they nice and golden, they looked tender and flaky! And they were big pieces. The bottomless steak fries that came with both our dinners were OK. They could have been a tad hotter but really not complaining. Waiter came by and asked if we wanted more. But I was full from that burger. We didn't order dessert, but they show a brownie sticks covered in chocolate and served with berry dipping sauce on the tablet at the table. If I wasn't already full I'd have gotten it to share with hubby as it looked good. I don't mind the location being at the mall. It just means easier access to shopping! Which is what we did after.

I came here with the bf and we both left with clogged arteries. We're both young so it's okay, but I would definitely not come here at age 30+ and with a slower metabolism. It's like a heart attack on a plate. I always get the same thing: Royal Red Robin burger. The great thing about ordering burgers here is that they have unlimited fries. Not the skinny fries you see at McDonald's. These babies are huge slices of potato, fried to perfection. We also ordered Freckled Lemonade, which you get unlimited refills of as well. I love fishing out the syrupy strawberry bits. Since I eat clean, healthy food 95% of the time, it feels good to indulge in greasy, unhealthy food once in a while. And Red Robin is perfect for that.

Pros decent food. Nice environment Kid friendly Cons. It took 5 minutes for a host to take my name for a table Our waitress while nice was working too many table to effectively serve them all. Not here fault, poor management here No refills on drinks the whole visit. My biggest pet peeve with this visit. The pay at your table kiosk. How tacky, if I am paying extra for a restaurant table service it needs to be complete. I'm not a fan of paying to do your job. Will I eat here again. Nope

This is an updated review of Red Robin. First let me start with the management. They are on the ball people! I was contacted less than 24 hours after my last review on yelp. The first initial contact was from out of town perhaps corporate and was through a message on Yelp. My second contact was a personal phone call from a local manager. I was given a heartfelt apology and a gift card to comeback and try them again. I returned gift card in tow and am happy to say that I was much more satisfied with the quality ( temperature) of my food. My waitress was very nice and helped me sign up for the rewards program they offer ( very cool) which gave me a free hamburger of my choice during my birthday month! My only major complaint is that every visit it's seems to be a chore to get refills on drinks or sides of sauces once I receive my meal. Maybe understaffed? I have also noticed many times other people (staff, runners, managers) bringing food to tables. All in all I love Red Robin. I can eat bottomless fries, feed my picky kids and people watch all the crazies in the mall.

I really want to give them ONE STAR. I'm from LA, so we thought having Red Robin for a late lunch while in Bakersfield wouldn't be much different from the ones we usually go to. At first glance, you can see nearly all the servers are very young (even the janitorial staff). Different from what I'm used to, but I didn't want that to affect my experience. It was until we had to flag them down that I noticed how irritable it was. They had an excuse for EVERYTHING. "Oh, there's trash on this table. I'm sorry! Let me clean it before you sit. I can't believe no one did it beforehand." "No more ketchup? I just hate it when no one replaces it, don't you?" Look, I don't care if everything wasn't 1OO% prepared, so I don't need you trying to strike a conversation about how others aren't working. You weren't prepared, fine. But apologize for yourself and stop placing the blame elsewhere. I guess the servers are so young that they're so fixated on getting a gold star on every single thing they do. Anyways, food was good. (Although, my server had tried to question me on my order. I KNOW what kind of bread I want, so stop trying to get me to choose another bread!) Skimpy on the fries really, but not really a complaint when they're bottomless. Servers are always chatting in the grilling area, talking about their friends, lives, and jobs. Things you shouldn't be mentioning, let alone yelling about, while working. For the service alone, I will never come back. Thank GOD I live a hundred miles away.

Just came in for some drinks and a snack, but oh so glad we did. We have never had a bad experience. The food (burgers) are consistently great and the drinks have never watered down. Had the fish and chips today and while it's not like being at the beach, it was very good. Love that I can put seasoning salt on my fries and them dip them in tarter sauce. Yummy!

My daughter & I eat here every time we hit the Plaza to shop. This place is special to me because I spend time with my only child. We usually order salads and seasoned fries w/ ranch (of course). Their burgers are really good too. Sometimes they are busy. But our service is always friendly & fast. We will be back the next time we "need" to shop. Oh, and a full bar....nothing wrong with that.!!!!

My mother recently left her wallet behind at this location. She in a panic reached out to the store and found out that the manager had her wallet locked up in the safe. Having driven 4 hrs up the road to San Jose they were not anywhere close to return to pick up the wallet. My parents offered to pay for the shipping but the manager said that it would taken care of. Hats off to this location for putting my parents minds at ease!!!!

Why do I keep coming coming back here?? Every time I come the service is horrible, my waiter skipped my table and asked the table in front of us and the two beside us, if they were doing fine. I didn't know we were painted on the wall. Also my drinks didn't get here until my food did, they were watered down, and my appetizer never showed up. If the food wasn't so good I would have stopped coming here a long time ago, definitely going to find a new place for a good burger!

Food was great! Compliments to the cook! But the hosting and waiting stuff for horrible. First as I walked into the restaurant I stood patiently waiting for the hostess to acknowledge me. Her name was Amber. After about a minute or so I asked her if I could be seated. She looked as if I interrupted her from a deep thought and said "You can sit anywhere you like.", and smiled. So I did seat myself strangely at a booth near the end. A male waiter presented himself and asked the basics. Told me his name was Matt and took my order and left. As I looked around there were groups of team members talking by the kitchen entrance. They were laughing and joking around, then I noticed my waiter Matt was apart of the group. After 6 or so minutes he finally brought my beverage. Those were my only concerns. Staffing needs to be rethought.

Red Robin is a perfect example of the greatest in hamburgers!!!...The "Whiskey-River" BBQ burger is one of the BEST and finest hamburgers served in a restaurant today! it totally BLOWS the "Whopper" or "Big Mac" out of the competition!!! Red Robin is located in the Valley Plaza Mall on Ming Avenue just east of the 99-Freeway. Also a little more about the history of Red Robin in Bakersfield CA: The previous location of Red Robin was at 5555 Truxtun Avenue near the Carrier Canal at Mohawk Street. Red Robin did not do as well at the Truxtun Location, and was later converted into a Woody's Restaurant in 1988, before closing down entirely about 10 years later. The current Red Robin location opened at Valley Plaza in the late 1990s, and with some up-grades and adjustments to the menus, it has done much better! It remains one of my favorites for great hamburgers!

My family and I met our out-of-town cousins here for dinner on a Tuesday night. They accommodated our large group very well, sat us in a huge booth (all 9 of us, which included 4 small children), and there was no wait at all. Everyone was happy with their food, our waitress was wonderful, and they tried to keep the little ones happy by bringing them out fries to munch on right away, which I, as a mother, greatly appreciated. They also brought the kids the usual menu with crayons, and also balloons. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because we made the mistake of using the electronic pay machine that they have at each table. We tried to split the bill evenly between three cards, which is an option, but not a user friendly one. Long story short, no one in building could correct our double & incorrect charges that were already pending on our accounts, and we had to wait an extra 20 minutes while they unsuccessfully tried. All the incorrect pending charges did eventually disappear, but it was a huge inconvenience.

Bad bad service, waiter couldn't handle more than one table, waited for ever for tea even longer for food....always great service with Candace, will request her from now on....

I went for 6 other ladies for a lunch togetherness and was delighted with the Red robin waitress, RaShelle. She made this first time experience a great way to spend lunch, as she provided us with beverage refills as needed, answered questions that I had as to menu, and cleared table as needed. Her pleasant personality means that we will be back, this time with my husband, and will be sure RaShelle is our waitress. She was well worth a larger tip than necessary, and a good representative of Red Robin. the mushroom burger I ordered, less bun, was delicious as were the recommended garlic fries. RaShelle also took the time to teach we older ladies how to use the new technology for our bills; good to meet a cordial employee for a change.

I started eating in the bar since no kids are allowed. Service seems faster and you don't have to wait for seating. I love the option for a Boca patty and a ciabatta bun. Yum....

We've been going to this Red Robin since spring 2011 and it's slowly going down hill... Today waiting longer than 10 mins just for water and ice tea. Few weeks ago nearly empty restaurant and took 35 mins to get our food and being it was my bday waitress came out and basically tossed a cup of ice cream on table and said happy birthday.

First of all... I love the food but I'm noticing the last year or so this restaurant has gone downhill when it comes to cleanliness. I refuse to go there anymore due to the caked on food all around the booths! If the booths look this way... how does their kitchen look? I probably don't want to know!!! Come on Red Robin, give the restaurant a deep cleaning so I can return for your awesome food!!!

Pretty good. Burgers are great and fries are bottomless. Always be sure to use the seasoning on the fries, its so delicious!

We have been going to the Red Robin on Ming Ave since it opened. The food has been great. However, in the past year, it has become unkept and dirty. The blinds in the bar area are disgusting! The tabletops are scared and in need of refinishing. Is the kitchen as dirty as the blinds?

I have been to Red Robin in San Diego and it was very good. I was disappointed with the burgers today. They were over cooked and dry. Not a drop of juice in them. They sat us in the bar and we asked for salt and pepper. We didn't get it until the end of our meal. On the upside the waiter was friendly and the salad great.

Good food. Bottomless fries. Separate area that is adults only. Staff is usually friendly and food comes out quick.

We are always pleasantly surprised when we visit. We dont expect much when dining at a mall, but service is great, food is good, and prices are reasonable. And this one has improved by enclosing the walls so mall traffic isnt so distracting. Endless fries and cheesey mac, a new menu, improved appetizers, homemade dipping sauces, options for everyone, and a new Mint Brownie Shake. How can you go wrong???

Very disappointed! No Octoberfest burger with pretzel bun. They discontinued it! Are you kidding me? The best reason to come here is gone. Maybe I'll come back next year and see if it's back.

Sit at the bar to get good service. Anytime I sit in the dining area I get poor service. The bartender's are quick and know my order. This place is pretty cheap for how good their food is. I good burger and fries here is 10 bucks. I'm happy with that. The beer prices are good as well. Try and catch happy hour.

The years I lived in Bako and ate here, I never had any issues with service or food. I think they have excellent waiters/waitresses and great food that is always deliciously prepared. After I ate at a Glendale one, I just had to write a good review to an actual good Red Robin. I will never again go to the Glendale location. If I ever visit Bako, I'll def be going to that one when I crave steak fries :)

Family shot over here for a quick bite. I hadn't been here in awhile. Decent. Walls a little dirty. Got burgers and fries and sandwiches. Yummy! Service was phenomenal. She ran all over with an infectious smile. Aimee. They do call them gourmet burgers. They aren't that but they're good. I loved using the little screen on the table to order appetizers and drinks. Wave of the future!

So one thing I really love about Red Robin is the bar is a kid free zone! I live going after work or to watch a football game and not having to hear someone's screaming kids. We always getting treated awesome in the bar and the bartenders tend to know our faces when we come in. I love the whiskey river burger and the sands in your shorts drink. It's my favorite combo. We never get ignored and mistreated. Come to this Red Robin for a great burger and friendly faces!

This place deserves a minus 10 stars. I went last week for a quick bite with a friend. After walking in, we stood for almost 10 minutes and no one offered to seat us. No one was at the front, and the waitresses just kept passing by and looking over at us. One actually picked up some of the little baskets off of her table and sauntered on by slow as a snail. A family came in shortly thereafter. They stood and waited and waited and waited as did me and my friend. Finally the poor family went up to the bar area and sat themselves and were run out by the bartender. The poor people came back and just stood there and stood and stood. We stood and stood and finally . . . left. No service, no smile, no. . . "can we help you?" How many in your party??? I went up to the bar and spoke to the bartender who was a silly idiot. I explained that my friend and I needed a table and so did another family. She shrugged and said, "Im sorry" and . . . walked away. What a strange place and what a terrible waste. I bet there are lots and lots of people that really need a job and would be good workers instead of the slobs at this place. I don't think I will return here.

Went to visit my sister a few days after my birthday and got the awesome free birthday burger. Food and service where ok except for when I got sick later in the day... can't explain the sudden illness that hit me out of nowhere but once Red Robin was out of my system I was fine... Love the server well unless she poisoned me. I don't eat meat so if they cooked any part of my food on the meat grill (health code violation) then those douches almost killed me like the Seahawks did the Broncos.

So treated my daughter to Red Robin for lunch. Checked in and we were told it would be 15min wait, so since it is located in the mall we walked around nearby until called. But as we were walking away, I noticed that there was many tables unoccupied. Thought, hmmm wonder why there are so many people in the lobby waiting with these empty tables available. First thought is, are they that unorganized? Or is it the kind of place that likes to have people waiting to show the across the way restaurant that they are more busy then they are..marketing ploy or something...who knows. Regardless, hate when I see open table and many people waiting in the lobby. But that is not why I am writing this review. I am writing it because I dont always go to Red Robin as it is not easy to find parking being located in the mall and always seems to be very busy, but my daughter loves this place and I treated her because she got on the Principal's List this quarter. Took a few mins for waitress to greet us and when she did, she was more concerned with this black screen item which I guess they call a "Kiosk" on our table as she noticed it was out of paper. I had no idea what this thing was as I did not want to touch it because it appeared to have lots of fingerprints not clean looking. At first thought, it seemed to be a new thing they put on the tables to entertain kids because I saw it had games/apps you can download and a "bank card swiper" because of course it was not free to play those games. So the waitress said if we wanted to order an appetizer we can do it on that kiosk, I said no thank you ...no appetizers for us. After she walked away, I put it away from us up on top of the window seal cuz it just looked unsanitary. Our food came, it was good, no issues there. Waited again for waitress to reappear, after 20 mins had to waiver her down because I needed our check. She pointed to the "kiosk" thing and said....you do it on there....I had no idea what she was implying and felt very confused on what she was suggesting. So she grabbed it and said, See you can do your own check out right on this kiosk. I was very surprised to hear that, and asked her...Did you mention that before because I dont remember you saying anything about it, she said yes I did when I told you that you can order your appetizer on here. I said, interesting because I did not hear you say anything like that. So I proceeded to have to use the germ infested kiosk to check out. This review is just to let others know, in the case you dont know how to read minds like my waitress expected me to do, that they no longer bring you your check in a little black bi-fold.....perhaps you should bring your stylus so you dont have to touch that nasty thing that clearly does not get cleaned on a regular basis......Germ-A-Fobs....this is not the place for you :(

I've been in here multiple times but recently have been coming in later at night for a quick dinner, not sure if the waiters just want to leave or not but, the food always comes out quick. Service is slow on refills and checking on the table though.

I went to a RR in Dallas for the first time in ages. There I had the most amazing BBQ chicken wrap. It tasted so good that while we were driving home from LA and got hungry I decided that we just had to stop by and get another. It was that good. I called in the order while we were a few miles out and when we got there just as it was finished. The girls at the counter we very nice and helpful. When we got back into the car and I started tearing down I was really very sad. It still tasted the same but didn't at the same time. The big difference was that the veggies in this wrap were somehow soggy, where as the last time I had it they were fresh and crunchy. I was also missing the coleslaw that it came with. Something I really didn't want to find out as we were driving home which was nearly 2 hours away. I didn't want to have to turn around for my order to be right, so I dealt with it. It was so soggy I only ate half.

Red Robin is located inside the Valley Plaza Mall, near the Target. They claim to have gourmet burgers. I think their burgers are just okay. The best thing on their menu, in my opinion, is their Cobb Salad. I am not the type of guy to typically order a salad as a meal but their Cobb Salad with ranch is legit. I also think their fish and chips are pretty good. Their beer selection is decent and they make good girlie drinks too. Although it is usually busy, we never wait too long for a table. The place is looking a little dingy these days and could use a renovation.

Came here for lunch. Started at a bar booth and sat for 20mins without beig approached so I loved to a dining table and waited 30min for my food. Poor management/leadership. Love Red Robin but don't recommend this location.

Let me just say horrible service!! Wont be coming back for a while. My bf and i were greeted by a nice hostess katilyn, who lead us to our seats. We eagerly looked over the menu. Thus is when the disappoint started it took the waitress at least if not more five minutes to come to our table. She did not apologize for the wait and she didn't greet us with her name. She proceeded to ask if we looked over the menu and what would we like. Irritated I asked for water and peach tea as my bf asked for lemonade. We also placed an appetizer order. She dropped off our drinks and didn't return for another ten to 15 minutes to get our entree order. After waiting for what seemed like forever our food arrived. The food was just OK nothing special ( we got the red royal robin). I do have to say the server did improve on refilling our drinks on a timely manner. We did not find out the servers name until the bill came.. Natalie! My bf is a manager at a restaurant and I am a server. When we go out we except great service because that is what we provide not to mention we are a paying customer service should be already good. If red robin wants to improve the managers nd servers shouldn't hide behind the fact it was a lunch rush. Even if the restaurant is full/busy the customers deserve good service. Train your servers on greet times and proper greetings. Also teach them how to check up on the status of the table. These would be my recommendations for the restaurant!!

We've been going here for years off and on. We moved back to Bakersfield a week ago and decided to visit one of our faves...still love it! The service we got was exceptional and our waitress Rochelle, was wonderful! We didn't have to ask for anything. We were seated quickly, food was great, no complaints at all. Great place to take the kids, too! Plus for a family of five, our check only came to 47 bucks...endless fries, endless drinks! Remains one of our favorites! :)

I was down in Bakersfield recently for a couple of days. My brother-in-law suggested getting a quick bite here. I'd never eaten at a Red Robin before, but figured I could find something. I have a lot of food allergies/intolerances, the major one being gluten. My brother-in-law made a comment to our server about me needing gluten free. She brought me a gluten free menu (which came with a nice legal disclaimer and which is pretty standard where gluten free is concerned) and also said that they had gluten free buns. Usually gluten free buns are a bit dry and hard, but these were delicious! I don't know if all Red Robins have them though. We were seated quickly, but did have to wait for our food for a while. Our server was attentive throughout...I wish I had gotten her name now that I think of it, because she was excellent and very helpful.

The kids love it, and the shake servings are quite generous. The people who had burgers enjoyed them. I had the grilled chicken with fresh melon instead of fries, it sucked. I had to douse it in ketchup because the chicken was so dry, and the melon was under ripe. The tomatoes were mealy. My lunch was gross. But everybody who didn't eat healthy had a much better meal, so if you eat burgers and fries, it's fine. If you eat healthy, don't bother.

I'm usually not one to give 5 stars to a chain restaurant, but golly geeze, my experience at this particular Red Robin on Friday night has put them ahead of their bay area counterparts. I've been dining at Red Robin's in the bay area for years and years, but this one blew me away in terms of service and food. First, we were greeted by a friendly hostess and despite a crowded waiting room (and restaurant), we were seated within 5 minutes, may be even 3. We didn't wait long at all when our server acknowledged us. Her name was Isis and she even apologized for the wait. We were thinking "What wait?" She was spot on the whole time. Attentive and friendly and not at all invasive. I ordered some chicken pesto aioli sandwich with garlic parmasan fries. YUMMY. Chicken breast was cooked perfect, not dry at all. In fact, I polished my plate. My db ordered the turkey burger, he too polished his plate. Also, had no idea the endless basket of fries applied to the garlic parmesan ones! When Isis gave us the choice, we were stumped because last we ate at the Saratoga Red Robin, they only gave us regular fries even though I ordered a plate that offered the garlic parmesan ones. Glad we decided to eat there for our first meal in Bakersfield. :)

I got burnt the last two times I went to this place. Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice..... well you know how goes. Their burgers are not gourmet, unless the standard for being gourmet has greatly gone down. You could do better at Juicy Burger. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

I used to love this place, especially for their Banzai Burgers, but the last couple times I've gone, the quality has really slipped, especially in the size of the burgers. They managed to cook my burger in such a way that it was both undercooked and dry at the same time - unimpressive. Fries were lukewarm and overcooked. Save yourself 50% and hit up In & Out for a better burger experience (sadly).

Located within Valley Plaza mall, this little pit stop is just that... a pit stop. It tries, but just doesn't quite have the charm of a 50s diner but isn't dirty enough to be a truck stop. The food is garbage American. It's not Carls Jr, but in some ways it may as well be. While the portioning isn't terrible and the shakes and malts are a plus, it doesn't make up for the quality of said establishment and the service I got the last time I came here with an adult friend of mine to catch up. Red Robin would be so much better if the food, service, and cleanliness matched their decor. It's trying hard but it doesn't feel like you're trying at all oh diner place. For shame.

This is my first negative review, but then again, this is only my third review. Am I prolific or what?! The food here is pretty good. I have no complaints about it, but all three times I've been here the service has been abysmal!! Empty glasses everywhere, empty "bottomless" fries and waiting forever to get your tab in the end. The service has to be horrible for me to leave less than an 15% tip, and I left a 5% at this last visit. Not good. The only reason it gets two stars was because the food was decent.

This particular Red Robin is located inside Valley Plaza Mall. When we first got there the waiting line was somewhat long. It took us about 10 minutes to get a seat. After we were seated i noticed that the table was half cleaned with no kind of utensils to eat with. As i sat down i notice that my shoes were smashing french fries that have been left under the table from the previous customers. Anyway we ordered our drinks, entree and food(after 10 minutes of sitting there) only to be served out main dish first. As i stated before, we had no silverware so i had to stop a worker to get a fork so that my wife can eat her salad. After eating the main dish and getting ready to leave they finally decided to bring out our entree order. Yeah....30 minutes later. I told the guy just to box it up so we can leave. I guess he felt bad cause we recieved it late. He ended up giving it to us for free. Anyway this was my first and last time eating there. I don't recommend this place to anyone!
