If you want authentic Mexican food with great service, awesome prices and fast orders, then this is the place to go! If you have a designated driver and have time after a fun night out with friends, then their truck on Panama and Colony is a MUST! Best carne asada burritos ANYWHERE!

As a kid my mom would take us to Bakersfield most Sunday's and after an eventful day of shopping and errands our dinner would be The TacoLoco Truck. So of course when I seen that there's a restaurant of my childhood eatery I had to try it. I kinda wish I didn't. I was excited to try my "favorite " tacos. I was sadly disappointed. I used the drive throu (don't let that mistake you it's only purpose is to avoid for you to get out of your car. The wait time is just as long as if you were waiting at a restaurant only your in your vehicle). When I got home and tried my tacos the tortillas were confusing. The outer tortilla was tough and the inner tortilla was soggy. But I let that beside me since I was sure my food was going to be delicious. The chicken tasted reheated and very dry and the asada was over seasoned. I didn't like my tacos. I also ordered the asada nachos. Don't ever order that. It's terrible. I'm disappointed because I could have bet money that this place was going to the best place for tacos. Now I can't even remember why I enjoyed our Sunday's there. On the plus side the Horchata is very very good.

Won't come back to this place. The carne asada was very dry, gritty and under seasoned. The rice was under cooked and the avocado slices were extremely bruised. The only plus about this place was that the girl at the cashier was very friendly.

  • Ryan R.

Very average food. Below average service/wait time. I always leave the drive-thru angry.

  • Iam W.

I ordered the nachos carne Asada and it was plain awful. The chips were old tasting, too thick and the cheese sauce was slopped on terribly. The meat was the worst, grainy low quality, tasteless and over cooked. The nachos also had a sprinkling of pot beans and that's it. Oh it also had a smear of sour cream and avocado. The salsa was the only thing that I enjoyed. Tacos are OK again do not get carne Asada it's terrible; Shame on them for cooking Mexican carne Asada that way. They need a good cook to cook their meats cuz what they have now just won't make it in Bakersfield. Sorry

The whole wheat avocado burrito is back to its wonderful original self. Also these guys at the godford and stockdale restaurant are super fast! Doesn't matter if your dinning in or driving thru.. These guys are on it!!

  • Art C.

Great food... But the lady at drive thru forgot to give me my change, grilled green onions and was a taco short.

  • Lily C.

The service sucks!! (Guillermina)(employee name)placed order through phone. I went to pick it up. And they told me they never got a call for the order I placed there?? Wow.... then she took my order and told me to plz hurry. I need to go home.!! I always come here. And there service gets worse and worse. Food is alright.

Good food, but HORRIBLE customer service and cleanliness. I've been an off and on customer for about 10 years. I keep coming back because I remember the good food and forget how rude the staff is. It never fails when I order my food I remember why I don't frequent this place. Over the years they've been trying to pinch pennies out of everything. It first started with having to pay extra for salsa. Next they didn't give you the onion and jalapeño unless you asked for it with your food. The latest is that they charge for the onion and jalapeño. These are small things but they really annoy me. Being stingy with sides, flys all over the restaurant and rude customer service leads me to never want to come back.

Haven't tried this place before but I know it's connected to the taco truck. Had food at the taco truck before and it was bomb so I was hoping this place would be equivalent to that. Ordered the carne asada burrito and the nachos locos. Nachos were pretty bomb but the burritos were okay. The carne asada in the burrito seemed like it was a little bit too dry. They didn't put that much meat either, they stuffed it with way too much rice, beans and cilantro. I asked for extra sour cream and it was barely on there. I should have read yelp before hand before eating there. Read comments how the vicinity was not clean and how it was roach and fly infested. My boyfriend got an upset stomach which he normally doesn't get. It could be due to the place not being clean. I don't think I would come back anytime soon. If and only if they clean up the place then I'll think about it but other than that no.

The food is average. The customer service is about the worst that you can get from any Mexican food place. I've been here several times giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that their service gets better, but I've been disappointed time and time again. If you ask to modify any of their food items (i.e.- substitute whole beans w/ refried beans) they have a fit and express their frustration in their body language and tone of voice. I've spoken to their manager and he is equally unwilling to meet customer requests. If you want good tacos and good service go to Los Tacos de Huicho at 123 E. 18th Street.

    (1)
  • Sonja L.

Love the food hate the service. Over 30 min in the drive thru... Wow... Now 10 min and we haven't even got to order!!! Complained at the window and she said "we know "..... I would rather drive to the truck on Panama... Faster and better anyway! Not going back again same thing every time.

    (2)
  • Alicia O.

Customer service is bad, and so is the food! The girl was rude to us and still mixed up our order. I honestly prefer going to the taco truck.

    (1)
  • Mark M.

The best burritos! Just make sure you add the sour cream! :D

    (5)
  • Mayra S.

Very bad food the carne asada was dry and burned and al pastor had a lot of fat won't be coming back for sure or recommend it.

    (1)
  • Jake L.

Food is decent, you'll get better from the el toco food truck but this review isn't about that. The customer service was awesome! My dog for some reason jump out of my front window, and without any hesitation the dude working the window help catch him even tho there was customers behind me!!! Thanks a lot again man you saved me!!! Glad they're decent human beings still here!

    (5)
  • Cassaundra C.

The food was really good, easy online ordering (that i somehow messed up) nice employees and speedy delivery.

    (4)
  • Jj M.

Can believe some of this reviews. This place gets a star cause food is ok. I will not eat here again, place is dirty and flies are everywhere.

    (1)
  • Mike V.

Good food but... Customer service and the wait sucks! And their very stingy with the salsa.

    (3)
  • Peter P.

Breakfast burritos are on fire! Everything else is blah. If females in the kitchen they stingy as hell on the meat! But when They go on break and make a burrito for them selves. They pack that so much of carne the tortilla is coming apart like the zipper in their pants.... occasionally dudes be up in the kitchen. They aren't greedy with the carne.

    (3)
  • Amy J.

Food is just average. The meat has no flavor. They need training on customer service. And a little lesson in physics. They packaged up all my food in one bag, with the small containers at the bottom causing the whole thing to topple over. Who does this? My tacos and sopes looked more like a taco salad when I opened the containers. I will not be going there again. Even if it was the last taco place and I was starving.

    (1)
  • Mariah B.

If I could give no stars for this, I would. Not even one. Reasons why?: 1. 15 minute wait just to tell them your order. 2. Another 20 minutes to get your food. 3. The girl at the window was very rude 4. The order was all wrong 5. We went to call the manager about the problems only to have him not care and hang up on us. The whole experience was time consuming and not enjoyable. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, nor would I ever wish to go back.

    (1)
  • Esmeralda C.

Very unhappy. Costumer service awfull, all employees rude rude rude. I do like the tacos but i will not go back because of the service. And they charge for everything surprised they dont charge for napkins. Food expensive. Again service terrible. They get no stars but i couldn't post without picking one. : (

    (1)
  • Nicho S.

This is my favorite place to get tacos on the west side. Yes they are slow on the drive thru, but it's always worth the wait. So far I have multiple times ordered their tacos de carne asada, cueritos, and lengua and never have been dissapointed. They have an absolutely delicious salsa verde, always fresh and really good sweet horchata.

    (4)
  • Bear E.

Are you guys crazy. This place is a dump. Fly infested, roach motel of a restaurant. If they happen to get your order correct which is a rarity, it tastes like crap. Meat is dry, old, and over cooked. Rice is hard like little rocks. If your drunk and hungry it's fine. But u might regret it tomorrow. Terrible establishment. The worst service.

    (1)
  • Arielle C.

A bit expensive for the type of food, especially when they do not offer much at their location. Food preparation takes a bit longer than usual.

    (3)
  • Andrea A.

Super delicious, authentic Mexican street food. The Carne asada burrito is the best I've ever tasted. Their red salsa is so good and I always buy extra. Don't forget to ask for grilled onions. I definitely recommend you try it if you haven't!

    (5)
  • Valerie M.

I always used to go through drive thru and it was fine but then i got off this last time and dined inside... i seriously couldnt finish my food. The place is dirty and stinks!!! Im sure its roach infested! So nasty!! I will never eat there again!

    (1)
  • Bianca M.

The food taste old and like it's been sitting out all day. The place it's self if disgusting there's food all over the walls, trash can, floor, tables, seats, and outside. Staff is rude and I can't believe this place can pass with an A. Gross is all I can say about it.

    (1)
  • Rachel B.

Love this place for some reason the meat just taste so much better then any other Mexican joint I've been to, they are always so busy but some how his place pumps out food fast. They have beer not to mention that the other one on Panama lane was the first I've been to but they need another in central Bakersfield, East side then it would be complete

    (5)
  • Jen F.

The food is excellent, but the wait is long. Good things are worth waiting for, if you have the time.

    (3)
  • Richard H.

Always good and fast service the food is made to order and it's always good

    (3)
  • Ashleymarie L.

Amazing food! I am so glad we stopped and tried something new. Even our kids loved it! My husband enjoyed the fact you can get a glass bottle of coke with the combo. The only thing that was disappointing was the chips. But who cares when you are full of amazing food. Chips aren't needed.

    (4)
  • Jose J B.

Just had a really delicious chicken taco and chicken torta, place was clean and the service was fast, good place to catch a taco when on the west side not out here much but was a good find.. I did not check the restrooms thats at your own risk.

    (4)
  • Adam M.

Good food...if you decide to eat inside make sure you bring a fly swatter! There was at least 10 flys hovering around.

    (3)
  • Marcus M.

Love Taco Loco... But to be honest, the trucks seem to be a little better than this restaurant... That being said, for my money this is the best Mexican restaurant in Bakersfield if you want authentic Mexican... The Asada Burritos are ALWAYS killer, their Asada Tacos can't be beat and their Polos Tacos are very good as well... The used to come with a marinated grilled green onion on the side but recently they have cut back on giving those with their menu items (Sad they are KILLER)... The Salsa (Both The Green And Red) they have is AMAZING!!! So good, in fact you can now order it and take it home in a jar, but the down side is that since it is made with no preservatives it will not stay good for more than a few day (Even in a refrigerator)... This restaurant itself could use some work... Used to be a Arby's back in the day and it was A LOT nicer and cleaner... The drive threw is slower than I would like but when you realize that this is a locally owned NON-CHAIN restaurant and they make everything to order, I can cut them a little slack... All and All, if you want good Mexican, the try Taco Loco here or one of their trucks... It's GREAT!!!

    (4)
  • Chelsey T.

The food is good but this is the second time I added and paid for guacamole on my burrito only to find out when I get home that they forgot to put it on my burrito. For the second time. So I'm really bummed about that, I'm really big on avocados, and it's hard for me to enjoy burritos without it. Sigh.

    (4)
  • Bradley K.

Flys for days!!! I've never seen so many flys before. The whole place seemed unclean, was extremely cold, and had so many flys around and the employees simply stood around and let them be as they flew annoyingly in our face and in our food. The servings were huge which was a plus but the meet seemed old like it had sat for a while and the overall meal was less than satisfactory. It was to the point that I wanted to leave a couple bites into my meal. Maybe next time will be better if there is a next time...

    (1)
  • Mike F.

I will never eat here again. This place is dirty and smells. They always screw up our order. How hard is it to make a freakin burrito? The managers do not care if your order is wrong. The employees care even less. So many better Mexican food spots in Bakersfield. Avoid at all costs.

    (1)
  • Jose S.

This is my taco spot to get good tacos on this side of town...they offer all types of meats and combos i usually stick to asada or al pastor...i usually ask for the salsa on the side there have been times they overload the taco and all i taste is salsa...the drive through cam sometimes take forever but worth the wait...

    (3)
  • Art A.

Everyone is always looking for the best taco spot. YOU FOUND IT. Best tacos in Bakersfield, make sure to add Red Sauce in all ur items. Trust me

  • Elizabeth R.

I was kind of surprised when I saw this place had 4 stars. My friend suggested this place for lunch, and I was like "Eh, I'm down for Mexican-let's go!" Plus from what I remembered in the last time I'd been there, months and months ago, I figured it would be a nice place. The decor leaves a lot to be desired, their benches are hard and uncomfortable, and the space is just small to begin with. Their menu looks pretty standard for a what a taco truck would over, complete with pictures that look ok. Prices are kind of up there for what they offer. And there's that extra charge for anything you want added on there too, that's annoying in any place. When I ordered the combo 2 that came w/burrito, 1 taco, it was like 10 for the sour cream and cheese I added. The burrito was huge and I thought I'd be very satisfied. It was full of 75% beans/rice. I know some people like those enough that they won't mind-I mind. I'm paying so much to be served the bare minimum of meat? No thank you. And the sour cream/cheese I added was at the very end of my burrito. Not satisfying. Don't think I'd be too keen to go back. P.s. The radish they served on the side looked old and the lemon slice they served on the side was waaaaay too small. AND they charge extra if you use your card.

    (2)
  • Alicia G.

I use to love going to el taco loco in Lamont thought it would be the same but I was sadly disappointed the food was alright the prices to high. They charge you extra for everything including salsa or chips I love my food spicy sorry but not really good Mexican food more like american Mexican i will probably not be going back

    (3)
  • James R.

If you are fat and don't like to wait for good food then don't come here. The food portions are great for any normal non Godzilla person. The wait times are long but expected when the food is freshly grilled and not frozen dog food like most fast food places serve. The only issue I have is the staff is kinda rude. They act like they have the worst job ever.

    (4)
  • Andrea N.

Worse customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered in the drive thru and told the lady I wanted jalapeños with my nachos 3 times. 3 TIMES. I've had a mishap before with them forgetting and that's why I said it 3 times. She rushed me the whole time taking my order so bad I couldn't even understand her 100 mph talk. I go to pay she rushes me there to as she hands me my order and takes my card. Her thank you and have a great day was insincere and more like its my job to say this. I get to my destination NO jalapeños and the tortillas on my tacos were dry and hard. Probably old. Never again will I eat there and strongly dont recommend it AT ALL. I wouldn't even give it the star I had to select.

  • Jaylene R.

I used to eat taco truck burritos on a regular basis when I lived in Waterford/Turlock. I am so happy to have found this place. They're open 24/7, which if you're a food enthusiast like myself, you find yourself hungry at all hours of the day. It's very affordable, and their burritos are gargantuan. I always order the carne asada burrito with sour cream and guacamole. I've only ever been inside once, but I wouldn't ever eat at this location. Their drive through is never ridiculously long. You do have to wait a little while before your food comes out, but good things come to those who wait! I don't like that they charge you a minimal fee for using your debit/credit card, but I don't mind forking up the extra 35 cents for an amazing burrito.

  • Jack E.

This place was highly recommended to me by a friend. I have since gone there a few times in the last few months. The food is outstanding, there is no question this place has the best Mexican fast food in Bakersfield. Their pastrami & egg burrito is likely the best burrito I have ever had. I have no complaints about the food, it is simply great. The customer experience wasn't the best. Each time I go through the drive-through they have a hard time understanding me and have gotten my orders wrong a few times. Their drive through microphone seems to need an upgrade. If you wish to avoid this happening, I suggest you just go in. That however, is not enough to take away from how awesome this food is. I would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through south Bakersfield area.

  • Seven B.

Deserves the solid reviews it's already received. The Grande Burrito is unquestionably the largest "mission style" burrito you can buy in Bakersfield, and when you order the shredded beef, it's outstanding in flavor. The fajita burrito is also quite good. They'd get 5 stars it if they had more kid menu items that were cheaper. A la carte would be nice. I can feed a kid for $3 at most fast food joints. A family with kids just ends up spending a lot more when the kids menu is priced like a premium burger meal. I only eat here once every few months as a result, and I'd like to eat there MUCH more often.

    (4)
  • Lindsay Y.

The veggie burrito I got here was good but I had to wait in the drive thru for over 20 minutes behind just one car when I nicely and the worker was totally rude when I brought it up. I also think it is absurd that if you want more than one salsa they charge you. I just moved here from San Diego and have never heard of this! Also the veggie burrito was close to 5 dollars which I think is pricey. I won't e going here again not worth it to be treated rude, wait forever and over pay for only decent food!

    (1)
  • Mike C.

The food here is awesome, the Torta is ridiculously amazing, all the ingredients are fresh and service was excellent, I thought the restaurant was well kept and clean. I definitely will keep coming back. Thanks, Juan.

Back from L.a. ride and its 10:30pm. I'm in the mood for a lengua burrito. I come here and order: LENGUA BURRITO, NO BEANS, NO ONIONS PLEASE, I AM ALLERGIC TO ONIONS. I get home(Pacheco/South H) and take a bite of my burrito. I'm in the hospital writing this review with a half swollen throat. F*ck you very much *ssholes, your next pay for a month will be paying my hospital visit if your "boss" doesn't.

    (1)
  • Melissa M.

Wish I could give this 5 stars. The food is delicious! But I just sat for 15 - 20 minutes in the drive-thru! There were two cars in front of me (one of them got tired of waiting and drove off without any food) and a couple people eating inside. Even though the food rates 5 stars, the service should get zero.

    (2)
  • Matt M.

It was fairly mediocre and they charge to use your debit card. That's weaksauce.

    (2)
  • Violette G.

4 stars because i prefer their food truck on panama but still delicious! As close as it gets to TDM oxnard

    (4)
  • Brian C.

Pretty good food though pricy for Mexican food. $1.75 for tacos. Charges for using debit card and doesn't accept credit cards. The drive-thru can take forever, upwards of 10-15 minutes if you're unlucky. I always ask for the horchata with no ice and they NEVER get this right. This happens 90+% of the time, even when I repeat it when they read back my order.

    (1)
  • Fred L.

    It's 2013, and they don't take Visa/MC. Wow.

    (2)
  • Tele J.

Definitely a 4 star. The burritos are awesome. The al pastor meat is also awesome. That's a great compliment coming from me since I'm very critical of my al pastor. Very authentic tasting. All they need is hand made tortillas to put them over the edge. The food is a great price. I really like the fact that they sell small bowls for children that comes with rice, beans, and choice of meat for under $2. Good experience.

    (4)
  • April S.

Their carne asada is very tasty. They put a good amount on their tacos and you don't find a lot of fatty meat mixed in. The corn tortillas have good flavor and I like that they cook the tortillas on a grill rather than just heat them up. The major drawback for me is their rice. I have ordered it three different times. It is always either over cooked and mushy or undercooked and crunchy. It has no flavor. I'm not a fan of their beans. Depending on who is working, they can be very stingy with requests for extra salsa or radishes. The staff is friendly enough and I like that they're open 24 hours. El Taco Loco is good for a taco fix.

    (3)
  • Joe S.

Amazing food and very good price considering the quality of the food. You can tell that everything is made from scratch just like mom used to make.about the only thing that is Premade are the soft drinks, but the horchata is fresh, flavorful, and refreshing. I couldn't recommend the tacos el pastor enough! The tortas rock pretty hard too, just like my mom makes

    (5)
  • Hilda G.

The tacos and burritos are delicious! The only problem is the wait time. You wait for a very long time to get your food in the drive through. It takes forever! !!

    (3)
  • Matt J.

Better then many Mexican joints in town but still needs improvement. The red salsa is incredible. The pastor is very good. But the asada needs help. It's precooked, usually overdone, and inconsistent. It's not fresh, juicy, or reliable.

    (3)
  • Thunda H.

i love their burritos. But they don't like getting my orders right!

    (4)
  • Laura H.

I have been there numerous times to order sopes, we usually order four, two with everything except beans and two with everything except sour cream, so is this that complicated to understand? I agree with the other reviews that these people have the I don't care attitude and seem like they don't even want to be there. I went there this afternoon, not one car in the drive thru, I gave my order as explained above, I had to ask for chilies, radishes, onions and lemons since they left them out, the girl at the window had attitude when I asked for them. Get home and all four sopes have no beans and all four have no sour cream! Plus I waited 15 minutes to get my food. Seems like the owner needs to look into the employees he's hiring or even his managers since neither seem to be doing their jobs, your customers are the ones that keep you in business, so please care enough to be more in tune with your business and who's running it. Also, I want to add we did eat inside one time and as other reviewers have stated, it is filthy, don't know how they get those A's. I don't plan on going back since attitudes and not getting orders right don't seem to change.

    (1)
  • Ebony B.

At first I was a bit skeptical about trying this place. I like my mexican food to be authentic/homemade style and I thought that this place would be like a Taco Bell/Chipotle joint -- but I was surprised. I ordered a carne asada burrito with everything on it. It was delicious! It was probably one of thee best carne asade burritos I have ever had. Only thing I would change was the salsa, I didnt like it too much. Other than that it was great!

    (4)
  • Lauren M.

I want to start by saying, I've been procrastinating getting started on yelp for the past few years. This place has motivated me to finally go through their grueling (not so much) sign up process and spread the word on some fantastic businesses that deserve the credit. El Taco Loco is a diamond in the rough. We stumbled upon it on a road trip up to Yosemite a few years back, and now find ourselves purposely making detours to grab a bite on any subsequent trips. I've only had the Quesadilla Loca (it's feminine crazy), and it's amazing. If you're passing through Bakersfield, or in our case, if you're within a 30 mile radius...stop and eat at this place!

    (5)
  • Dan G.

my wife raves about this place's taco bowls...i'm more into nachos than that, so i tried the loco nachos. i've had better elsewhere...very little meat, and they came drenched in sour cream. very messy and nothing stood out about any of the flavors. there is FAR BETTER mex food to be had in Bakersfield.

    (2)
  • C L.

Highly over rated!. I ate there last night and ordered a combo al pastor taco (mediocre) and carne asada burrito (poor) with drink. The pastor taco tasted ok but the meat was cold. The carne asada was bland and the meat was old and minced to death. They charge extra for salsa/hot sauce! C'mon....they charge restaurant prices almost 10 dollars with tax and dont even give chips and salsa. will not return

    (2)
  • Kain C.

We usually go to the taco truck on Panama Ln. but decided to go to this one since it has a drive through. Food is just as awesome. I like that they wear gloves to prepare the food unlike the taco truck. Drive through was really slow, but definitely worth it!

    (5)
  • Melissa G.

We have experienced the truck on Panama several times so we were in the neighborhood of the restaurant & thought what the heck. Yummie! I was a bit supprised to find the restaurant dining room closed at 9:24pm (they closed at 10:00 pm) the door had a neon OPEN sign above it too. Now to the menu: I Ordered the #1 Asada w/a side of sour cream. I asked for the green onion & Serrano chilie due to the advertised shortages and now by request only. They ended up charging us $1.35 for a "dolop" of sour cream that taco bell charges $0.25 for an equal amount, or a 8 oz container for just the same from any store.) We were also charged $1.00 for the green onions but on a plus did get 4 extra savory grilled onions on the side for the charge. My pot beans & rice were ok. Choco's tacos on 99 & Mearl Haggard (er' 7th STD) has better beans. Simmered for hrs & FLAVOR TOWN BEANS. Tacos @ El Taco Loco 8.5/10!

  • Kiki H.

Quick stop while passing through. Found them on yelp and wasn't disappointed. Quick service and very flavorful food!! Would definitely stop here again!

    (4)
  • Keia C.

This was my first time at this place and I must admit it was pretty good. It is a bit out of my way and therefore, if I'm not on that side of town, I will not drive all the way over there for it. It was good but La Villa is just as good and much closer. Also La Villa is cheaper! Their carne asada tacos are $1.89 each! That's outrageous!

    (3)
  • Lilian R.

Looks like an ugly McDonalds, but food is deceivingly delicious. Carne asada tacos , or burritos are the best here.

    (4)
  • Lisa M.

I'm from LA, so I know what good burritos are. I've been here 2 years and couldn't find any good mexican food. Then someone told me about El Taco Loco Truck on panama lane... All I can say is "it is the Bomb!" If I can eat there everyday trust me I would. It's really good food. And the way they put their burritos together is good.. Not too much rice or beans. It's perfect! So I highly recommend that you try this out... Lisa from LA

MMMM! They have pretty perfect carne asada. I just got some carne asada tacos from here and they were excellent! The salsa was very good too. They serve a lot more stuff that is probably great aswell. I say 1.75 is a bit much for the tacos but I like them enough to pay the extra 50 cents. I also got horchata, yum. I think they have a taco truck "El Taco Loco 2" on panama.

Can't believe I lived 2 min away from this joint for over 3 years and have never once tried it until now. Love their carne asada tacos! Their sauce is a bit spicy but you don't feel it until after you're done with the meal...well at least for me. My throat felt like it was on fire when I got in the car lol.

There are no real words to describe this place! It is Definetly a Diamond in the ruff!!!! It has the best carne asada burrito I have ever tasted. (and trust me I have tasted quite a few) They give a good amount of food for the price and salsa is right on! Even my kids love it.. not to say that the wait time is the best... but Drive thru is always a must. I once ordered inside when I saw the DRIVE THRU line, but i ended up waited longer then 30 min. They always get the Drive Thru line out first before Dine in. Either way, they are worth the wait!

3rd time here. Other 2 would have given 5 stars. Today was different. Pulled up to the drive thru and was packed so decided to go inside to order. Ordered 2 carne asada burritos. Called my number 5 minutes after order was placed. Once I got up there to get it was told they were wrong, it was an order for drive thru. After waiting a total of 20 minutes they called my number again and was ready this time. When I got home to eat they forgot the grilled onion and grilled pepper they always include for both burritos. Also both of them weren't put together either.

The burrito was good didnt taste processed, but didnt get side onion so was not happy. The carne asada was good bite size and not greasy. 3 stars be/c beans are'nt refried, no side onion and $5.40 for a regular size burito is a tad overpriced

Awesome quesadilla loca. The carne asada is unbelievable. Service was slow, lady was annoyed with me asking for more salsa, food took forever and the guacamole looks like baby poo. Overall good experience. Would recommend drive through for faster service.

I have previously reviewed Los Tacos de Huicho and it's great. But this place is right there. Very good food for very good prices. Hit it up.

Just about the best tacos I've eaten. You can taste all the ingredients and the salsa is not overpowering.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
