Came here for dinner on a Saturday at 6pm, party of 10. Below are my take aways: - 20% off only applied to food (21.99 for dinner on wknds), so our alcohol was regular price - They have steamed egg and rice paper, just gotta ask for it - Steamed egg took 45 minutes to get delivered to our table (wth? how much water you boiling??) - Large beer was ~$8, soju was ~$11 - Last reservations they would take on a Saturday was at 6pm, anything after you have to wait - My favorite meat item was the marinated rib meat (#3) - Brisket and beef tongue were only okay - Our waitress was pretty busy, so had to ask for items multiple times - Waitress/Waiter didn't drink with us, like they normally do in Ktown (no comp alcohol, which we almost always get in Ktown) - Clean and ventilation was really good - Location upstairs in the promenade area - 2 hr time limit starts when they bring you your first order of meat, when 2 hrs are up, they bring you your check (while we were still drinking) Rather go to Ktown. if I wanna stay local, I'll go to O-Kook.

The service of this place is very efficient and friendly. However, their meat honestly SUCKS Also, the AC was off the whole time and the entire restaurant was filled with burned protein smell and smoke. I smell like burned protein for at least two hours after I came out of the restaurant. Yucks. for the short ribs: very good flavor. However, the meat contains a lot of tendon and fat tissue. For every chunk of meat I ate, I have to cut some parts out coz I can't chew on it or it's just fat. Some parts of the meat kinda stinks. That's gross. beef brisket: very flat tasting. Okay quality beef. These kind of rolls are the best for hot pot NOT kbbq. Pumpkin porridge: HIGHLIGHT OF THE MEAL. It's sweet and yummy. Very smooth. Meat loaf with rice cake: good flavor. However there were two bummer: 1) VERY oily. The little chuck I ate was bursting with oil. Gross. 2) the description on menu did not really match with whatever it came.. Huh. Shrimp: i have doubts for the freshness of shrimp. Meh. Each order is 4 shrimp so... The only thing that's keeping me from giving this place a 1 star is the pumpkin porridge and service.

One of the best AYCE K-BBQ in the 626. Salad bar to grab your own side dishes always a plus. Meat quality is good. Two options for dinner, premium v. regular AYCE price. I would suggest trying the premium selection first time around, which consists of 7 additional options. You may find some that you really enjoy. Although I did enjoy some of the selections under the premium menu, my favorite was no. 9 "Don't Rib Me Off". Now I know, I could come back selecting the regular option =). Service was excellent, but I can see how it may be a little under staff if it got busier.

This is one of the few good KBBQ restaurants around my area. The price is average compared to others. The quality of food is pretty good as well. The wait can get a little long around peak hours. They accept reservations, for your information. The service could be a little better. At other KBBQ places, there is usually a button to call for help, but this place, you need to call for help. Some workers would fast, but others, not so much. Overall, I would come back this KBBQ place.

My boyfriend and I spent our late v-day dinner here because we don't really "celebrate " valentines but rather make an excuse to eat out. Initially I wanted to have Oo Kook of Rosemead Blvd., but the prices are pretty steep there and I can't each much to make it worth it :'( After trying out this place 2 weeks prior with my family, I suggest we go here since I could walk around after rounds of soju (how typical of me). Great thing about this place is that there isn't usually a wait and the restaurant itself is very big and spacious. I also love the fact that the sides are buffet style so I don't have to keep asking for kimchi or the cucumbers which are a must have at all times during my meal. Our server (ken?) was awesome. And so were the other servers who helped us. My boyfriend joked about the menu because I personally think giving the cuts of meats all these fancy names make it so hard to order what you want and quite awkward when you realize how cheesy the names are. We stuck with the classic dinner only because I didn't really see a point in going premium. The best part was the soju..... Ha. I mean their soju isn't like limited edition special or something but I had picked to eat kbbq here because I love the peach soju. Unfortunately, they had no peach soju left :'( rest assured our server recommended the lemon soju and so we proceeded. When we got our first taste of the soju it was good... But soooo weak. I then became that annoying customer. And he gladly suggested he would have the drink mixed with a little more soju by another server. She brought back our soju and it was STILL like lemonade (I sound like an alcoholic).. And he came back to ask us how it was. Unsatisfied, he again gladly suggested more soju be added but this time he'd mix it himself. He came back and it was stronger (not as strong as I wanted it to be, but that's probably a good thing) and left us with a "please let me know if this works for you guys, if not I'll fix it for you." He's fucking awesome. Besides that, service is very quick and attentive. Especially when it comes to bringing meats and asking if we'd like to order anything else. Nothing too special to mention about the meat though. I think everyone's preference on choices of what they order is relatively similar. Downside was that they ran out of rice paper!!!! What the.. It always happens to me :'( We ended the night with a big smile and my drunk self frolicking the promenade.

My daughter just turned 8, so now she is charged as an adult. Do they really believe a little girl will eat as much as an adult? The price is OK for adults, but with children, it is WAY overpriced.

In terms of AYCE Korean BBQ this place is average at best. I think the atmosphere is pretty cool and the menu is creative and catchy. Quality of meat is ok...the best thing was the chicken (which on the menu said it would be drumsticks but came out as slices). The thing that was weird about this place was the rib meat came out pre-cooked and looking very unappetizing. Never seen that at any korean bbq places. The rib meat tasted fine but the presentation looked like they picked it out of a garbage can. For that price, you can find better.

Not bad price for 1 person dinner $19.99 taste delicious ,4 star for customer service good waiter asking many times for food, this bbq rest better than Kirin buffet at downstair ,we will come back

This place was a spur of the moment after church hang out sesh. It is a bit pricey and everyone at the table has to choose the same type of all you can eat. Classic or premium 20 or 27 respectively during dinner hours. The food has been very impressive each meat we tried had so much flavor and all of them were very high quality. I was amazed and impressed. I would recommend this place to anybody firstly for the high quality food and second for the fun of this place. Our waiter jungy was an excellent help getting us started and explaining everything to us.

Meh. Average/below average quality Korean BBQ with non-existent service except for Abdul. I had to walk up to a server to order more meat because they were all standing in the salad bar area talking to the host or manager( Korean guy). But at least he was acknowledging them because when we were leaving, he was at the host counter but didn't even say thank you or bye. Plenty of other AYCE Korean BBQ places around like Gaon in Pasadena. Yeah it's a little more expensive but you get what you pay for.

Not my favorite KBBQ place but definitely satisfies my KBBQ desires! It has the side dish bar so you can snag all the yummy side dishes you want! It has 4 vs. 5 stars because: -I went with a party of 12, we sat in tables next to each other, not together TOGETER. -Each order is small. Since it's an all you can eat place, it's not that big of a deal, but just annoying. -Some of the orders required some "disassembly" Basically, the chicken order came with 3 chicken breast and I had to cut it up with the scissors to split between the 12 of us. Overall, great for small gatherings (portioned correctly) but not awesome for large parties.

  • Jackson W.

My wife and I really love coming Here. Recently this place went down from a 5 star to a 1 star for me. They removed the skirt steak from their regular menu. That was one of my favorite cuts. Everything else is still top notch. But that skirt steak was brought the whole thing from a 4 star to a 5 star for me.

They close at 11pm today and we walked in at 9:15pm and told us "We decided we are gonna close at 9:30pm today", pretty much because it's a slow night. Lame

    (1)
  • Lue L.

It's as good as $9.99 place in ktown not $15-20 for ayce . The only reason they get any star is for their salad bar for side dishes. They're pretty darn good. Just not their menu meats .

    (2)
  • R L.

I don't like the "rule" they set up and I will not come again This restaurant restricted only 4 items each time you order, so, even we were a party of 5, one of us had to wait till the 4 soups severed to order his/her. And since it's prohibited to order more than 4 at a time, so, only 4 shrimps can be served for 5 people, NO EXCEPTION as the waiter said. If you have more than 4 people in a party, you may want to go other restaurants so there won't be any one being left out.

Definitely had better AYCE BBQ even in the surrounding Arcadia area. We dropped by since Hai di Lao had a 30 minute wait and this place just opened that day. I hope it was only a soft opening because everything was fairly disappointing. They were missing rice paper, radish, and even a typical Korean salad. They did have a salad bar but I was not interested in just plain romain lettuce. I wanted the Korean dressing too! The meat was just okay. I think the beef tongue had the best flavor. The bulgogi felt like it was not marinated long enough and tasted bland. The gal I had good flavor but presentation was pretty lacking. Overall this place needs improvement if they are going to compete with other locations such as Oo-Kook which isn't too far down the road but with much better food and atmosphere.

  • Kay N.

This place is okay. Had better all you can eat korean bbq. Didn't care for the salad bar or self-serve side dishes. The steam egg that some are raving about is just egg and salt. Not sure what the hype is all about. I didnt think their selection of meat was that much. Kinda pricey for weekend lunch $21.99/pp. Service was good though. Very attentive.

  • Minnie N.

I came back and the service was SO much better, maybe it's because it was a different set of workers? Who knows. But anyway, they have some "updates" to their menu, they basically added about 5 more "higher quality" meats (like rib eye steak, pork jowl whatever that is, wagyu meats..) which are considered exclusive to the premium menu option only which will cost you $26.99. I didn't bother with that since my main squeezes are: seasoned rib meat and tongue. Usually I can devour plates of tongue like there is no tomorrow, but honestly this time it seemed a bit .... off? It had a really "tongue-y" aftertaste which left like a trail of scent in your mouth after you ate it. It smelled and tasted like straight tongue, which was not what I'm used to since the quality of it here is usually buttery and subtle. Maybe it was an off day for the quality. Who knows! I still have a soft spot for you ATB.

Ill be honest this place is so good. Reasons because they have great customer service due to so many employees at work and they have a salad bar where you could serve yourself with your own rice, salad, tofu, kimchi rice, soup and fruits. The atmosphere was great. The tables are a bit crunched up together but enough room to eat and cook. The meats are fantastic. Honestly i love their meat because it seem so fresh and not frozen like other kbbq ive been to. This place is located on the second floor of the mall and not only the wait is worth it but the location itself is nice at night! If you wanna have a great experience come try this place out. Its worth it. Also the pricing is not all that bad due to the meat selections.

  • Jasmine L.

Ok meat quality. Wish there was more normal (not tongue, etc.) meat choices, 2 marinated beef and 2 plain. About 17 choices including 1 octopus and 1 shrimp. The thing that gives this a 2 star is each time we asked for a dish, the quantity got smaller.... I mean a lot smaller. I know they do this at other restaurants but they started doing that on the second round and when we asked for a double portion (only 4 orders at a time- we had a party of 12). Each of us only ate a little at a time so each of us could have some. I guess we ate more from the side dishes than the meats. Service was okay cause they only us settings when the person appeared and missed a few, even though we were less than 3 minutes apart. We got seated when we had 7 ppl. They real warn u about the 2 hr limit. Stating that we shouldn't order until the rest of the party arrives because the time starts as soon as we order. I guess their idea is to restrict the amount of time u can eat and give u very little food until u either get full on the cheaper side dishes or u run out of time.

  • Benny K.

I really like how they have a separate place for you to get your side dishes. The meats are pretty good and the servers were really nice. It's a comfortable environment to chill and eat. One of the better Korean bbq places, in my opinion.

  • M. G.

Mediocre quality meat. Too much fat for my taste. The waiters are friendly, but are young and clueless. They kept bringing meat that we didn't order. SGV needs a good Korean BBQ, but this isn't it. I'd rather drive the extra 20 miles to go to K-town and get the real thing.

    (3)
  • Claire Y.

Meat quality is good. Recommendation: dipping cow, bulgoggi beef and ribs. Beef tongue is also tasty. Staff are friendly and attentive. $14.99 per person for a all you can eat lunch is good deal. They also have lots of items on the salad bar.

The manager Ron was very accommodating to our requests. We went in and hoping to order beer tower but unfortunately, they ran out of tower beer. However, the manager was willing to accommodate our requests and went extra miles for our table. We came in with a few who can eat and servers were always there when we need them, will definately go back.

Absolutely the worst restaurant I have even been to. I give it NO stars.

  • Sally L.

I give it a 3. Mainly because majority of the service was bad and some of the food brought to us was bleh. I've been to the location in Irvine which is much better so I had high expectations of this new location. Service: our server was okay. He did everything was asked of him but he always looked annoyed when we kept asking for other things LOL sorry this is your job I didn't know asking you for more meat was a bad thing. Another woman worker was rude as well. She had a mean look on her face whenever she asked us for anything.. Why can't these workers smile? I will give props to one server who always checked our table if we had empty plates and water etc and her name was Candy. Super sweet and attentive! She wasn't even our server too. Food: the meats we ordered were good. The brisket, bulgogi, pork intestine, and beef belly tasted well! I did not like the rice paper here- it tasted old. I don't know if it was old or if it was thick, but it didn't taste as soft as it should have been. Skip the salad bar unless you're really getting the salad since it's nothing special!

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my family and we all really enjoyed this place. Our waitress was super friendly and made sure we had enough meat and/or if we needed refills. I would recommend ordering the seafood plates early on though, because those take longer to cook. We tried the Surfin' Shrimp, Fiery Eight Arms, and other beef and pork dishes. They also have a salad bar that has tofu, glass noodles, soups, and other Korean style dishes. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and excellent service. Will definitely come back again. :)

Went with my boyfriend last weekend, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. It was very clean, the meat portions weren't as large as most places, but I eat small amounts anyways.. love the side dishes I can choose versus like most korean bbq places where they give you a huge selection and half I dont even eat.. Overall, I was very happy and it was affordable. Major plus that the staff was really nice too. One lil problem I had was that I wish they would change out the grills a little faster.. at one point my food tasted burnt from the previously cooked meat.

  • Ti M.

I have been there twice since their grand opening. The quality of the meat is good. Some of the meat is better than the others. They have a small salad bar, The service is good at first, but after your first round, service quality declined, you have to try to get their attention. Price is fair. Overall I will give them 4 stars, because Im there for the food not for the service. My recommendation from the menu are # 3 #4 bogulgi and shrimp

The food is great The service was amazing the hostess joy was great and the server william was one of the best servers i have ever had at a bbq spot . It was all very nice

At first I thought this was going to be another expensive AYCE Kbbq joint like Gen, but I actually really enjoyed dining here! Right after I did some retail therapy, my bf and I got hungry and decided to step out the Promenade to check out our options. I honestly wanted to try Cafe Concerto, but it wasn't opened yet so we opted to KBBQ. Overall, our experience went well! The place was clean and very very spacious. There's a salad bar and buffet area for side dishes! There was CREAMED CORN and KIMBAP... and many other sides like potato salad, tofu, dumplings, japchae noodles etc.,. I was soooo impressed. I really loveddd the bulgogi and brisket with their sauce! Their soybean paste soup was super yummy too and usually I'm not a fan of KBBQ steamed egg, but their egg was so fluffy, I really enjoyed it! Since we came for dinner it was $21.99 p/person and that was for classic. Premium is $26.99 p/person adding 7 more cut options. (It's a lot cheaper for lunch) The meat quality is pretty good, but not as good as ook-kook? (from what my bf says) But then again,I'm not a huge meat eater... it was good for me though ^__^ I think I enjoyed the side dish buffet bar the most haha. Service on the other end was okay-ish. It was really good in the beginning but it kinda went down during the middle of our meal when we wanted more water and asking for our check. I'd come back here againnn for lunch though!

I love that you can sit alone at a table and still choose from the AYCE menu. So many other places require that your table has two or more to partake in the BBQ experience. This place is great...clean, fresh, courteous service. My only qualm is that they don't have more seafood options. The salad bar is better than most other KBBQ places, eg, lettuce, sauces, pickled veggies, seaweed, etc. Definitely recommend!

  • Cindy C.

Overall, I didn't like this place. Meat quality was meh, sauce was meh, nothing really stood out to me. Was expecting a lot more for the price I paid since this would be considered a more expensive place in ktown... disappointed. We sat in a booth so it was annoying since they had a self serve bar. If they're going to have a self serve bar, then they really shouldn't have booths. They tried to be creative with the names of the meats, but I tend to like things simple. So it was a bit more of a struggle to have to read each description underneath. Also, the steamed egg was different... really didn't expect such a tiny egg so I had to keep on ordering them. Service was good so they get a +1 for that. They're located in the Promenade next to Hai Di Lao, I'd recommend parking near the side of Nordstrom's or in the parking garage right underneath. Probably wouldn't come back.

My initial reaction with one of the women servers were kind of rude. She wasn't very helpful when i told her i was a vegetarian. She gave me a very "tough luck" type of respond when i said i was Vegetarian ..later we were helped by Ken the server. Now Ken, fixed all worries and problems and made our experience at ALL that Bbq ...ALL THAT! The food was a lot more enjoyable and the quality to my man's family as quite good. I was also presented with a array of different never ending banchan dishes. I was eventually able to get full from all the fruits and rice + banchan dishes. Everyone else was happily full all the way till dinner!

I hate it when I write a place a glowing review, and they immediately go and make drastic changes to their menu. I came here yesterday after having a really enjoyable meal only a month ago, and found that they had gotten rid of my favorite meat on the regular menu, lowered the quality of the beef tongue significantly, and raised their prices by a dollar or so. The rolled short rib (which was very good) that was formerly part of the regular menu is now replaced with "L.A. galbi", which is not only a cheaper cut, but of low quality. We tried to cut away the excess fat and bones, but were still left with very chewy meat. The beef tongue which used to be large slices of a slightly thicker cut are now tiny paper thin slivers that are tough, even with the slightest amount of cooking. I went back to look at my previous pictures, just to make sure that I wasn't imagining things. I didn't take a picture of the tongue we had yesterday, but it was nothing like the one in my picture from a month ago. AYCE Korean bbq restaurants are notorious for lowering the quality of meat once they gain a bit of popularity, but for some strange reason, I expected more from these guys. Maybe it's because the rent is high at this location, or that business isn't as booming as they expected from this crowded mall. But I don't plan on coming back here anymore. I don't even care if it's not a good value. I just did not enjoy anything that I ate yesterday, and I don't need pictures or comparisons to tell me that much.

Food: I prefer to go to Korean Barbecue restaurants where you can get your own meat. You'll need to place your order with your waiter at this restaurant. However banchan and rice was self served here. All of their different variations of meat had clever names here, so you don't have to worry about mispronouncing Korean words. One of my favorite non-meat item was their steamed egg (Let Go My Egg Go). It made for a good change of pace. One thing I didn't like about this place was that the only beer available for the beer tower was a cheap watered down OB beer. I really didn't want to be stuck drinking a lot of bad beer. It defeated the purpose of getting the tower! Service: All of our servers were friendly and pretty quick with bringing out our orders of meat. They were also very quick in changing out our grill which helps a lot when you go from seafood to beef. Location: It's located in the Westfield Santa Anita shopping mall on the second floor adjacent to Macy's. Normally you can smell a Korean Barbecue restaurant from pretty far away from the parking lot. So just follow your nose! :)

hungry hungry hippos!! you always gotta make sure you're starving in order to come to an AYCE. that way you'll get your moneys worth. loved: *buffet area: cucumbers and fish cakes!! those cucumbers were BOMB dot com! *they changed the grill quite often. *they have a free rewards program for customers *you don't walk away smelling like you've been eating at an AYCE KBBQ *you can walk it off at the mall after you eat *tables are spacious *unique names for the meat types *meat items came out at a reasonable time. *meat didn't have a lot of fat on them. *wait time was non existent for a weeknight. disliked: *when they changed the grill they just dump everything in one section. you gotta separate it all over again. *the grill is small. *they gave each person one plate. a girl gotta have more than one plate since she gotta go to the buffet bar and get her side dishes then i gotta have one plate for my meat! *hard to hear each other talk if you're sitting across the room. *places dishes right in front of the baby in the high chair. which makes us have to move it. overall, all that barbecue wasn't bad. service could've been a bit better. we had to keep flagging staff down for things like water. even though there were plenty of staff around. they only seemed to be really on top of changing the grill. would i come back? sure a girl gotta go shopping and get her meat on so why not. would i come back often? probably not, it gets costly. but that's my issue not all that barbecue. tips: *rewards program available *indoor seating only *serves alcohol *credit card and cash accepted *located at the santa anita mall *park at the promenade or mace's parking lot for faster access *lunch is from 1130-3pm monday-friday except holidays *18% gratuity added for parties 8 or more *AYCE limit is 2 hours *they will charge if there's a lot of leftovers *half price for kids under 8. free for kids 4 and under *they have another location in irvine

I dine here for my prior birthday dinner with friends. I never try this place but heard good review and is in the mall. Keep it short, this AYCE KBBQ is good for the price. $20 their basic selection is on par with Gen House. The meat selection is a bit similar as well, the main difference is that you have a bachan bar, which you go get your own bachan without keep waving your hand to refill those deliiocus bachan. The quality of bachan is not bad but not as good as Gen or other similar KBBQ that has bachan bar. The bachan bar is kinda small as well. This meat is pretty good, especially their brisket. Doesn't see is frozen and pretty tasty. It was a good thing that this mall offer many restaurant is target to more Asian audience, the famous Hai Di Lao Hot Pot is nearby and now there's korean ayce kkbq as well. The two thing most Asian love. Finding this place can be confusing, best way is head to macy second floor then go out make a left. Then you get to the patio outside. I would come back especially in the mall.

I really like this place. I like how you can grab your own side dishes and veggies. The food was really good. The meat was good and they changed grills often. The only problem was they have no overhead vent for the grills in the middle of the room and the smoke from the food blows right into your face. It's very annoying.

Oh gosshhhh. This is probably my least favorite kbbq place. I was honestly so excited that there was a Korean restaurant in the mall and the interior of the place looked really nice so I was excited to come here. We came on a weekday night and the place wasn't too packed. The service was pretty good. The servers are mostly young, college guys so they're pretty friendly. The hostess took awhile to come greet and sit us even though it wasn't busy when we went. The appetizers is a buffet style where you walk up and grab what type you want, which is convenient. They offer a wide variety of stuff like kimchi, dumplings, some sushi rolls, bean sprouts, seaweed, rice, and fruits. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the dishes though. The meat we ordered was not marinated well. We got the bulgogi, which just seemed like a lot of fat. The brisket wasn't good quality either. The weekday dinner price was $21.99, which is way too high considering the quality of the meat. I ended up paying about $27 after tax and tip. I overall was not impressed with this place at all. The place that sketched me out the most was that the restaurant doors say that they close at 11pm. However, at 10 pm they told it it was last call for orders and customers left the restaurant by 10:15. If they wanted to spend 45 minutes to clean up the restaurant after closing, they should just say that they close at 10 pm.

Great place to get family and friends together. They have a big table that can accommodate any type of celebration and the food are delish. Plenty of side dish to go around since they have it on display for anyone to grab. Staff are helpful and polite. They always go around (borderline bugging me) and ask me if there's anything I need. All in all a good experience and will definitely recommend to my friends.

The minus one star is for closing the kitchen at 10pm and last call was at 915pm when they close at 11pm. Is located in the Santa Anita Mall on the top floor next to Macy's. My bf told me to try this, I was hesitant because we are spoiled by living not to far from ktown, but I agreed since he was so persistent . Parking was easy if you know where to look lol we go to the golds gym here. This restaurant is spacious and modernly decorated with the view of the newly remodeled section of the promenade. A Salad bar with many fixings spread out of three sections. The booths itself was spacious for two but three might be a bit snug. When I saw the menu I smirked "see I told you it was expensive! The mall isn't going to have decent korean food. Should have went to our other spots.." my jaw dropped as soon as I saw the classic menu. No way! I was astonished on the great selection in front of me. All the names were funny and cute, got me curious enough to try there full menu. Each item we recieved was delicious and came in small servings. We love small portions so we can sample as much items as we can. The only thing we thought was just okay with was the honey rice cake. It's nothing I would go or of my way to get, good but not memorable. The stream egg is delicious but I'm not use to the pot it was delivered in. I like the cast iron pots to give it a rougher texture. Other then that try everything! The service is great each time, from the workers to the Manger. Friendly service and fast workers so we usually don't make it pass two orders unless we have more company. I even told the Manger how great things were. Businesses that sets high quality of service and food is always awesome in my book. Bon Appétit!

The salad bar has more than just salad, they have tofu dumplings and much more. This is a great place to bring a big group of people. Joy, one of the servers was really on top of everything and made sure service was great! Would definitely recommend for korean bbq and food!

Impeccable service! Went in on a weekday with a large party (25+ people) and had an amazing time! Servers constantly checked to see if we needed more meat or drink refills. The brisket was delicious and I would definitely recommend it to any first timers. I also loved the little buffet area for side dishes. Will definitely come back again!

Awesome sauce!! Way better than the hubba-baloo down in the Irvine location. Not only is there no wait time because this place is huge, but it's less hectic because you do half the work by serving yourself your own side dishes at the food station, instead of flagging down the servers to refresh them. But, it gets better. You would think at an AYCE BBQ spot that they would skimp on the side dish selections because it's a free for all but NOPE, not here! It is ALL THAT!! They offer a big variety of side dishes, including 3 different soups! Still, it gets better - fruit is offered as a dessert option. The irony is we probably ate less than at other kbbq restaurants because there was so much variety to choose from & so we had smaller portions of everything. Location: 2nd floor in the outdoor section of the mall, near Teavana Parking: mall parking lot

The worst Korean BBQ experience ever. Ate here last year right after it opened. The service was EXTREMELY slow and I think they were doing it on purpose. I mean, after you order your four choice meat, you wait. And when you are on the verge of losing patience, another waiter shows up and tells you he would go check it for you. Yep. More wait. Then finally meat is here. Every round of ordering more meat, we had to go through this BS. I was so pissed. I definitely believe they were taught to do so. Sneaky. Awful. And the quality of meat was not good anyways. Don't come here. Even when you don't wanna drive all the way to k-town for Korean BBQ, there are better ones in the SG valley.

Love the meat quality and option to get your own sides as you please! Place is very good for large groups as well :) The service is very friendly and are very attentive, as long as you are doing your part to make yourself get their attention (it does get loud in there since there's a lot of people & meat cooking). Thank you Joy (hostess) for making this a wonderful experience for me

I was truly surprised and impressed with this place. My first visit, expectations were not too high. The place was new and not crowded at all. The price was a little more than the other Korean bbq places we frequent. The hostess was friendly and we got immediately seated and was served water. We checked out the menu and was immediately impressed. The classic menu included shrimp and octopus! I love how they named their dishes with catchy names, such as fiery eight legs and such. We opted for the classic menu the first visit and loved every single item we ordered. The second visit, we decided to splurge a little bit and order the premium menu. We ordered everything from 1 to 7 (premium items) and ohemgee, every single item was delicious. The meat was quality and high grade...melt in your mouth goodness. Of course, I had to order the octopus (again) and steamed egg. The sides are buffet style, which I liked. I do not have to bug the server and I can get as much or as little of an item. The water is served in an aluminum double barrel glass, which kept the water cool. Service was impressive. Our table was never empty of meat. As soon as your down to your last plate, a server swoops in and asks if there is anything else we like and less than a minute we get our item(s). Our grills are changed even before asking! Your cups will never be empty. The staff here are on top of their game! If you think about it, the mall is the perfect spot for a kbbq. Eat all you can, and walk A LOT to burn off all those calories consumed!

Terrible customer service. They are breaking food safety laws with having you re-use your plate when getting dishes from the buffet aisle. If you order kalbi, which is a more expensive meat, they will only give you 2 pieces at most and add in pork hoping you don't notice. This is straight up fraud. It won't be long until this place gets shut down for breaking basic food safety laws or sued for fraud.

4.99999 stars! This place is still new. I hope the quality and price point stays consistent. This place is a game changer. AYCE BBQ, about the same price as Ktown. Quality of beef is very, very good! For the non prime menu it's not as good as Anjin but on par with Kang Hong Baekjeong. The brisket is nicely marbled, not too fatty, not too lean. Also a favorite is the marinated shortribs. The bulgogi and spicy pork is also good. I love the serve yourself banchan. No bothering the server a million times for garlic and jalapenos. In addition to your standards (kimchee, bean sprouts, fish cake, potatoes, etc), the buffet also includes a rotating menu like fried rice, glass noodles, braised fish, korean fried chicken, egg rolls, etc. It all tastes good. There's steamed white rice, pumpkin porridge and radish soup. There's a green buffet -- cilantro salad, whole leaf greens for wrapping, chopped salad, quartered cucumbers and korean green chilis. There's an array of sauces; salad vinegrette, bean paste, red chili paste as well as tubs of fresh garlic, fresh jalapeno, corn, etc.. Fresh fruit includes green grapes and fresh pineapples. Extra plates, extra spoons and forks on the buffet as well. I mean...I'm impressed, aren't you? All those side dishes are free for your taking without having to flag anyone down. What we discovered is that due to the self service, when you don't need to constantly grab someone, customer service improves by 1000%. At least 2 different servers would ask us if everything was ok every 15-20 minutes. Highly unusual for a korean restaurant. Personally, I thought it was great. No more buzzers or waving arms or desperate stalker eyes. Maybe the best service of any asian restaurant where the owner isn't running the show. We ordered both types of soup. They were way too fishy. Skip that. Aside from the banchan and service, the meat is what keeps me coming back. I'm a brisket lover and for the price, selection and quality this aces it. The marinated meats aren't too sweet but savory enough where the dipping sauces are optional. I do wish they had the dry red pepper because the spicy pork could be spicier. The shrimp is served raw. Grab some of that salad dressing and pour it over your shrimp before you grill it. It's just like the marinated shrimp at Japanese yakiniku. I don't like tongue but my husband says it tastes great, almost like regular beef. You get a selection of 4 types of meat, which is plenty for 2-4 people. There's also a grilled vegetable plate that includes squash, eggplant, potato, mushrooms and onion. Even if you aren't a huge meat eater like me, you can fill up on the banchan, veggies and salads and leave completely satisfied. On weekends, lunch prices go from 14.99 to 19.99 but this is such a stress free, no wait, great value restaurant that I don't mind paying the extra $5. Hot tea is 2.50. Yelp check in gets you a free soda so definitely do that. Ice green tea tastes horrible. Get a shirley temple instead. Always order a winnie the pooh snack. Stick that rice cake in a warm area while you're grilling your meat and by the time you're done eating it'll be warmed through. Personally I like to end my meal with the sweet pumpkin porridge. Huge fan of this restaurant.

This place has been one of my top choices to go to for KBBQ, although the prices rised 2 dollars the last time I went. I've been here several times and each time I went, the quality of food and service went down. Here are my thoughts.. Food- The quality of the food is fine. It's clean like every other kbbq places I have been to. Not bad at all. Service- I would say the people here are pretty helpful and hardworking, but they don't come to the table and asks questions that often. The atmosphere of this place is neat. The last time I have been here, I was almost the last customer leaving, they close at 12, but they start putting away food at 10:30.....my thoughts are, I did not even finish eating yet! I didn't even get watermelon or my miso soup yet!!! I asked for it and they just said sorry. .....they also started cleaning the floor...and I smelled alcohol...which affected my appetite...i no longer could continue to eat! Although their food and service was okay for the several times I've been here......I would really want to go some place else to try kbbq.

Another adventure at atb !! Made reservations for 18-30 people and they were super nice about the uncertainty of the amount of people in our party. When it was time for our reservation we had about 26-28 people and they were beyond accommodating. Went in with half of our dance team so we were realllyyyyy loud but the service was consistent as well as the meat! Last call was professional and well done & fsure all of us are coming back next time ! Almost all of us were hella drunk but they helped us out taking care of the bill which made life 10x easier whoop! If you have a large party, atb is really the way to go! But don't forget to make a reservation! They only make reservations for parties of 8 or more and not between 6 & 8 pm on weekends so keep that in mind.

Trying out this AYCE KBBQ. It's located inside the Westfield Santa Anita Mall upstairs near the Macy's wing in the promenade section. Upon entering, you are greeted by a hostess & A young guy which I found out later was the manager. Free soda upon checking in. This place has a side dish, soup, sauces & salad bar for you to get all the fixings. If you go for premium, it's a little more than the lunch price. The steam egg was perfect. Not over cooked or under seasoned. The meats here are sliced super thin which cooks fairly fast. I'm usually not a fan of the pre.marinared Octopus but this was pretty good. Not too salty, just right. They Change the Grill Pretty often. The staffs were very pleasant. One thing that confused me is the labels to the side dishes & soups were mislabeled. The counters for the side dishes are the same for the restroom. Sparkly Red! The assistant manager Grant came over my table after we're done eating asked how everything was. Overall, not bad at all. I would definitely come back!

Excellent service! I've been to another HOUSE type Korean BBQ and this was far better. The food came out quickly and the service was top notch! The all you can eat salad bar was a nice touch. No more waiting for the servers to bring refills on the banchans. The meat was extremely tasty and good quality. Very clean inside and it looks like they can accommodate big parties. It's in a nice location (Santa Anita Mall outdoors) with plenty of parking and lots of space. Will becoming back here.

I'm sure that this place will always get some amount of business since they're located within a mall, but I unfortunately won't be bringing my service here again. My one star is purely for their pickled radish banchan and wagyu. The rest of the meat was subpar. As we get seated, there is a dirty chopstick under our table. And we are familiar that this is a mostly self-serve spot, but I've never had to go get a plate from the buffet to take meat off the grill. This place was busy, but not busy enough to feel like we were on a deserted island. Barely anyone visited our table. We desperately waved down anyone who made eye contact from afar to take our increasingly SMOKING blackened grill, to provide us a water container, to order more meat (which they first brought the wrong meat, then the wrong amount), etc. Then my boyfriend ordered his favorite usual dish; soondubu jigae. Instead of a stew, the broth was thin/clear/tasted like bad fish. It's a common simple dish, but was severely disappointing and was not edible. We also had to flag down a waiter to get a spoon to eat it? Furthermore, there are other kbbq places that deserve my service.

Sooo meaty... (with the E! Network's The Soup voice and tone) Location: Located on the promenade of the Santa Anita Mall next to Bose and Tevana. Easy access from the escalators across the way. Food: The meat is fresh and plentiful. Of the ones we tried, my favorites were the Garlic Chicken and the Pork Loin. Surprising since KBBQ is usually beef-heavy but the galbi and the brisket wasn't pretty mediocre. What's different here is that you grab your own salad and banchan. No more need to ask a server to keep bringing over those dishes. Grab as much as you want but make sure you are able to finish them. The sign says $5.99 penalty for wasting. A huge assortment with pretty good quality. Of the banchan, I enjoyed the fish cake, the pajeon (onion pancake), and the broccoli and spinach. They also have galbi tang and pumpkin porridge. The galbi was tender and the soup was light but the pumpkin porridge was a bit strange. Still not sure if it's supposed to be a dessert or a source of carbs. (Tasted more of a dessert for me) Service: Pretty attentive. The place is relatively small for the amount of staff so you should be able to grab someone's attention. They came back to asks for additional orders of meat and came back to refill the drinks. They were also helpful when we needed to change the grill. Verdict: Pretty bomb for KBBQ. I always have a sense that the ones in KTown are better since it's in KTown but this one hits the spot and is good for the price that you pay. For $21.99 you get pretty much everything you would usually like in KBBQ. Missing thinly sliced pork belly tho...Definitely worth a try and return visit. Meat was fresh, salad and banchan was plentiful and service was pretty good. Remember to try the Winnie the Pooh's treat. It's a piece of dduk with a side of honey. Random dessert but it's pretty good after grilling the dduk for a little bit to heat it up. It's their version of dessert I guess.

Now that I've found this place, I will probably stop going to K-town for kbbq. Awesome service, awesome self-serve banchan, awesome meats. I was very impressed that a kbbq outside of K-town, at a MALL, no less, could be this good. Apparently Sunday night (we got there around 7:10 pm) was a really good time to go since we found parking easily, AND got seated immediately. Service was so quick and attentive since the restaurant wasn't busy. I've eaten at great kbbq's in K-town but the one hour++ wait and the spotty service kinda soured the experience. At $22+ tax and tip for regular meats ($26+ for premium) they're not exactly cheap but they serve high quality stuff. I would GLADLY pay this over the cheap $10 - $15 options with lesser quality meats. So happy I found out about this place!

I can't decide. It's def way better than oo-kook, cheaper too. Nothing blew me out of the water but it didn't suck either. Pretty solid if you are in Arcadia. Same buffet style banchan which is interesting, and I like it. Love the fact they have cilantro salad mixture for my Korean burrito (my meat/veggie wrapped in rice paper lol). Anyway, service is a bit spotty, as later the night is I think they get eager to close lol. Wanted one more helping of a meat but they didn't come back, food settled and meh, I got over it lol. We got half orders on everything so we can try a lot. Beef belly and beef tongue was probably better selections. I love large intestine but this place...better skip it. Spicy octopus takes forever to cook and its meh. Marinated ribs were pretty good, not shabby. Again, overall it was whatever, probably 3 star considering service. However 4 for the extra shine over oo-kook.

it was cheaper than oo-kook, and I feel like i had a great experience here! It was my second time being here, I came here with my boyfriend this time. the meat quality was great, and there were so many different items i could choose from! I tried lunch premium, and it was AMAZING! Honestly, it is much better deal than dinner classic, because you just have to pay one more dollar to enjoy premium items too! The service was really nice as usual! My favorite was sexy skirt!!

I went here a few times and loved it. The service was good and Joy really helped us out on how it works because the buffet part was definitely new to me in a kbbq place. The food was delicious! I had the bulgogi's and the brisket. They offered more since I got the regular ayce, but their beef and bulgogi were so good I just had rounds after rounds of it. I definitely recommend this place if you love kbbq! Its worth the try!

This place really threw me in for a loop when I first went. Quality, authentic Korean style meat in an extremely un-Korean setting. Like I found really great bbq and all the side dishes but where are the motherly ajummah waitresses and the dim lights and sticky tables and hectic setting? In their place are friendly, english speaking waiters and a bright, airy room with pun-y menus. Unlike Gen and other AYCE KBBQ places, they are not crowded and never run out of dduk-sam or moo-sam. The quality of all their meats is amazing but the ones that stand out are the samgyupsal and the large intestines. The samgyupsal is some of the thickest I've ever seen and so juicy and delicious. I wish they had ones where the skin is still on! The large intestines come with a yummy blend of secret sauce whose recipe the chef guards fiercely. I know a lot of non-Koreans or people new to KBBQ stick with the marinated stuff (and how I love their pork spare rib) but you can't appreciate the quality of the meat that way! The mini buffet is always clean and well stocked. I hope they can stock perilla leaves in the future (though since most of their clients are non-Korean, I am guessing most of the leaves would go to waste). This is my favorite place to have KBBQ. The price is what I'm used to paying and the quality blows every other restaurant out of the waters. Waiters are always making sure that you are happy, whether you are at their section or not. And now they have a stamp card!

How great can Korean bbq be in a Chinese-dominated mall of all places? Surprisingly, pretty great. I'm a pretty boring Korean bbq eater - I just like the beef tongue. But I cleaned up 5 plates! The marbling's great and the staff here really pays attention to you. They were changing my grills before my meats could even start sticking. They don't have the service button like at most Korean bbq restaurants but they're so attentive, the button's not necessary. They have a salad bar with all your banchan fixings, but tbh, I didn't even check it out cause I was eating all protein (#datbulklyfe you know?). All in all, pretty damn good for avoiding the ktown craziness.

A new AYCE spot at the Santa Anita mall, this restaurant boasts a large floor space and a pretty good selection of meats. I'm always a fan of the bulgogi, but all their meats are pretty good, and all of them have fun names! The spicy chicken is good too. Waiters are very nice, and generous with grill changes. The meat is fresh and well cut. There are a lot of options, so try a bunch of fun things (why else go for all you can eat, right?). They also have a good salad bar sorta place for sides (kimchi, rice, etc) - the cucumber kimchi is soooooo good, though they didn't have it last time i was there (first world problems). Price is pretty good too, though alcohol can always change that lol Stay Cheerful ;)

Good things: Close by home, plenty of free parking (since restaurant is located at a mall plaza), and sufficiently staffed so you get your foods pretty quickly. It's a little more expensive than most kbbq places (dinner: $21.99 for classic option, which has less variety than premium, cost: $26.99). I like that you can get your own sides (buffet style, help your self). Meat quality is good overall, not getting no Kobe beef for $22 but I'm satisfied with what they offer :). Service can vary between good to meh, but they get me what I need so no complaints there. The wait is not too bad for the most part (usually seated within 30 mins on their busy nights). Keep in mind I will usually be with a party of atleast 6 people. Would recommend!

Just came for the second time, my first time coming I don't really remember much except having the place be completely empty. I'm glad business picked up for them, because this time 1/3 of the place was packed during Lunch Time. The place is huge and its very nice, the decor and everything is very modern. I came here with my sister, and the hostess seemed a bit lost. She didn't really greet us and just gave us a blank stare, until we told her we needed a table for 2. After being seated we waited for a waiter to stop by and introduce himself or take our order, but everyone just decided to walk right past us like we didn't exist. That was quite irritating. Finally our waiter decided to help us, when we ordered Brisket and Bulgogi. He told us that all sides were all self serve. The Bulgogi is pretty sad, it was just one huge slab on marinated meat. It didn't look like they even tried to slice it up before it was marinated. Which made it difficult to cook. Brisket was just okay nothing good or bad to say about that, because its pretty hard to mess that up. The steamed egg his was so small and depressing. It was a tiny order and looked deflated and completely bland! About the service its was always so difficult looking for our waiter, even when our grill was completely burnt we couldn't get anyone to help us. There was one thing that I also remember about the first experience and this experience that was in common, a female waitress that walks around all moody and looks like she is about to start a fight... Never seen anyone so unapproachable before! I don't think that customer service is a good place for her.

This is super weird, because I know for sure that I've already written are view of this place... because it's definitely my favorite KBBQ spot now. Regardless, I decided to write another one because yes, it's that good, and deserves another 5-star review. Awesome new KBBQ place located in the mall. Pretty decent price, without the smelly, sometimes racist, and much longer waits found in all the other KBBQ joints in KTOWN. My only tip, get the #9, which is the grill seared ribs, they. are. amazing.

What a great addition to the Promenade at Santa Anita Mall. There's a big sign out front indicating a 20% discount as a grand opening special. That definitely lured me in. Inside definitely has a modern vibe. It can get pretty loud inside, but perfect for us with a very vocal toddler. This AYCE BBQ joint is different in that side dishes aren't automatically served at your table. Rather they have a salad bar to get all those items. I like that option. I don't always eat all of the side dishes served at Korean BBQ joints and it definitely creates less clutter on the table. Only things you can't get at the salad bar are the rice paper and radishes. But servers will happily replenish those when you run out. We're not usually adventurous with our meat options but the ones we tried are: Skinny Dipping Cow Tried and True So Wee That's All Folks Porky Paradise Cuckoo in Asia Surfin Shrimp Btw, love all the cute names for the meat. All the meats we tried were deliciousl. Just a warning, the that's all folks came as a huge slab of pork belly. I love me some pork belly but it was almost too much for our party of 3 to enjoy. When you order, you can order, at most, 4 meats a time. Servers here are friendly. They are quick to replenish your meats when you run out. Grills are replaced after each round. Looking forward to eating here again!

Ok, Imma start out by saying we actually love this joint. We've been here over 4x and we always leave with a good, positive, full and satisfied feeling. This 2-star rating is exactly what Yelp says "Meh. I've experienced better", meaning we had it better before today! It's about 3 pm on a hot ass LA Sunday and we needed to satisfy our KBBQ cravings, and this joint delivers no doubt! Today though was a whole lotta different story. Let's just say the service fell flatter than a carbonated soda sans the fizz! Our waitress laid an egg too (more on that in a lil bit) to say the least. We go in and we got seated in a jiffy, ordered our shyte like always. Wifey orders the Pork ribs, Brisket, Marinated Bulgogi, and two steamed eggs. I went and grabbed some salad and steamed rice to get this feast started. The meats came in quick and grilled in a hurry. One steamed egg bowl on the table. So we started eating anyway and that steamed egg is gone in 60 seconds. We flagged down our waitress because the only time she comes by our table is to pick up the dirties but never asks us if we needed more of anything. I asked her that we're still waiting for the other steamed egg coz my wife ordered two for starters, but this time we went ahead and added another order of steamed eggs on top of that so that makes it two more and now a total of three. We got a confused look and some back and forth and finally she got it (I think). We ordered a couple more meats and resumed our meal. In the meantime........our steamed eggs (the very thing that completes our familys KBBQ meal) is nowhere to be found. Said waitress keeps walking by and doing "waitressing" stuff but never really had the time to update us or even assure us that our order will be with us shortly or something to that effect. Ok then. So Mr. Manager was doing his rounds and comes up to us, asks us how's everything, and we mentioned that we're still waiting for our two steamed eggs. He quickly said he will check on it right away. He comes back a couple of minutes later and explains that somehow the order was missed and that there was only one cook back there. I asked him if he's the manager, and he say's yes, so I go, "I don't know how long it is to cook steamed egg (but for crying out loud, crack two eggs, add some cream, sprinkle seasoning, and steam that motherfucker, done in 3-5 minutes tops right?) but here we are 30 minutes into our meal and only one goddamm steamed egg bowl made it to our table!" He apologizes again and he repeated the "one cook" only in the kitchen story, in the meantime said waitress is behind him listening to our convo, wtf? I said "that's not good and that's not an excuse." I also pointed out that the place at the moment is super slow with only a few tables occupied and there shouldn't be any reason for this type of slow service to occur. It seems like some restaurant workers treat their "down times" as "slow service times" also. And these types of occurrences usually happens on Asian restaurants, and that's a damn shame! Amusing thing happened though, as we were having this conversation the two missing steamed eggs all of a sudden makes it to our table. Holy crap finally! It only took over 30 minutes and some talking to the higher up for this to happen? Look, all we really care about is- if you're our waiter, please take ownership of your tables. Pay attention to their needs. Especially if it's a "down time", it's not the time to lollygag and have "down time" yourself. I went to the bathroom, and in the back, there are tables, and long tables that are still full of dirty plates and silverware's with no one busing it at all! I digress, anyway our waitress never went back to our table. For some reason another waiter was already asking us if we needed more meat or if there's anything else we need. We said nah, we're good. He proceeded to give us the check and that was that. We left full but we didn't really have that positive, good vibe leaving like we usually have. We'll give it another shot, but if this is the start of their service going down the crapper then the next time we come back will be our last, and we really hope it won't be. Please pay attention to your customers and pay attention to the details. ps: what happened to at least switching to a clean grill once per table?

My primary reason for checking out All That BBQ for my KBBQ needs is because it's one of the only ones in the area that offered a reduced lunch price, which is $15 as opposed to the typical $20 dinner price. For that, you have access to their salad bar. That is where you can get all their banchans, kimchi, and cucumbers, and bean sprouts. There are a variety of cooked foods - like haemul pajun (seafood pancake), chap chae (glass noodles), and something that looks like orange chicken but all those are fairly greasy and oily. They also have fruit for dessert as well as rice, soup, and pumpkin pudding. Notably, the sliced, pickled radish isn't on the salad bar but the waitstaff will bring you an unlimited amount. Onto the star of the show - meat! You select the meats from a menu and the waitstaff bring it to you. You are limited to 4 plates at a time. My favorites were the pork neck, well marinated kalbi, and tender octopus. The brisket was so dry and unflavorful. I also like that you can get other stewy dishes like steamed egg or soondubu! Totally rounds out the meal. Remember to check in on yelp for your free beverage!

William is the best server . Super nice great at his job. Everyone at all that Korean bbq is great Food isnt plain or flavorless The noodles The side bar area needs work tho No kimchi rice ? No asian salads? . Why? Just plain basic salad I love celantro but the celantro salad is not so good its just a bunch of celantro and they called it a salad Its very big , nice ,and super clean 1000000 times better then dream bbq You wont find service like this at other Asian places cause well many of them are rude but here they are so great at their jobs

The best thing here? Salad bar! They have plenty of choices which include the basic banchans with added steamed rice, fried rice, beef soup(my favorite),seaweed salad and many more. They named the menu items into some catchy terms and you're only allowed to order 3 kinds of meat at a time. Well, that was just perfect. Seafood like octupus and shrimp and veggies were added so it was all so good. Located inside the Promenade of the Santa Anita Mall, this spot is super busy now that it is becoming more popular. These restaurants are a hit around the area and I can foresee the long line and wait in few more months. Price is average and comparable to Oo-Kook in Rosemead. My new favorite place!

I always love Korean bbq. However, this one has a good location with Santa Anita mall, this one, I'm sorry to say that I don't like it. It's not I'm picky, but the meat here is really not that good, no taste, simply. Anyway, in my own opinion, I won't go again. Plus, the premium choice is not that good.

ive been to the irvine location many times and i was so excited that this one opened up closer to my house!! but i must say i was quite disappointed. there is a self self salad bar where you can get the classic side dishes such as salad, kimchi, mashed potatoes, bean sprouts and many others. i only got the mashed potato, salad, and beansprouts. the mashed potato tasted like "fake" potatoes. everything else was fine. they have a variety of meat options for $20 (for dinner). They have a premium menu which include 5 other meats including galbi(short ribs). the quality of the meat was decent. it didn't really WOW me. the brisket was also kind of dry tbh. the tofu soup wasn't that great. they had big chucks of tofu in it and there was so flavor. The soy bean stew was really salty. The steamed egg was also pretty flavorless and bland. they were consistent on changing the grill though. service was horrible. we ordered meat and they never came out until we asked them again. they took really long bringing out out orders and when we asked for extra tongs they didn't give it to us until we asked again. they would always forget what we asked for. overall, this kbbq is just ok. i honestly think its pretty pricey for the quality and service you get. Its weird because i love "all that bbq" since ive been to the irvine location many times and i liked it. i was pretty disappointed in this location.

Tasty, delicious, premium Korean bbq with plenty of options. Come here for dinner and come hungry! You can choose premium or regular AYCE. I had the regular menu and the meat was still very good. The kalbi and beef tongue are my favorites. They also have a Korean salad bar where you can grab all your veggies and kimchi. The restaurant is very clean, not too smoky, and has ample comfy seating. This is a great local AYCE Korean bbq if you don't want to drive to koreatown. The meat and seafood are premium cuts and they don't skimp you. You can keep ordering as much as you like, and even ask for half meat orders so you can try more! Price is very reasonable for quality AYCE kbbq.

Good food! Our waiter, Calvin, was excellent. He was very attentive and courteous! Our party of 10 went for the premium BBQ which cost $26.99 per person. There were 30 choices and we tried about half of the choices. We tried the Black Angus rib eye steak, short ribs, pork jowl, skirt steak, bulgogi, spicy chicken, shrimp, pork belly, octopus, pork loin, pork spare ribs, chicken bulgogi, brisket and finger short ribs. They were all delicious! Just wish they had squid on the menu instead of octopus. Will definitely go back again.

An excellent choice for Korean BBQ AYCE and it's located on the 2nd floor of the promenade area of the Santa Anita mall. For dinner, you can either pay $19.99 for classic or $26.99 for premium. I was a bit tight in the wallet so I went with the classic. The classic option includes all the typical meats you would find in other KBBQAYCE places. My favorites were the squid (so flavorful), the chicken (so tender), and the ribs. You can order up to 4 at a time but there is an extra charge if you leave excess behind. The restaurant was beautiful. The restroom was very clean. The service was just as good as the food. The price is actually very, very reasonable considering it's located in a high-rent district. I will definitely be back for the quality food and price.

YES!! New favorite KBBQ in 626. Ok I'm not too into AYCE KBBQ as much as I used to be... back when I was a wee little girl and my metabolism could keep up with my eating habits, I used to just dump all my money and eat my meats til I exploded. I get my money's worth everytime. Anyway, I can't do that anymore. Like I physically can't. So now I kinda get annoyed doing AYCE meals because I never eat my money's worth..... so going to places like Oo-Kook where I have to pay like $26+ not including tax & tip, to eat from a huge huge huge menu that I can't even get through halfway of............. well, that's no fun. So ATB has a "regular" menu and "premium" menu that is also differently priced during lunch, dinner, and weekends. We went on a weekday dinner, and went with the regular AYCE menu for $19.99, which has about 8 less items than the premium ($26?). I love that we have choices!! Soooo the food. I love that they have a buffet! It's not like regular KBBQ where they bring out all the banchan in front of you. They have the banchan on the buffet spread, and MORE! They have dishes like fried rice, sweet & spicy chicken, eggrolls, spicy udon, ricecakes, japchae, and of course your good ol kimchi, salad bar, lettuce, and etc etc. A lot of these items lure in the suckers and they get full off these items instead of meat......... well I'm a sucker but that is ok. Everything in moderation! Also, I believe some of these items change every now and then. It was all very tasty. Now the meats. I personally am a big fan of pork belly, but theirs was ok. It wasn't cut in slices, but in big slabs. I prefer the slices lol, but flavor wise it was delicious. Brisket was yummy. Tongue was amazing. Beef belly! You gotta try that one, it's similar to brisket but a bit fattier. The flap tail...tail flap? something is also quite good. The marinated ribs were good. WELL basically ALL the meats were delicious! I enjoyed every single one we had. The steamed egg and soybean paste soup were also GOOOD. The egg was more silky than fluffy, but hey I liked it. The soup was ffuhhhhlaaavorful and a bit spicy, LOVED it. They also have these sauces for your meat... the soy sauce ish one was my fave. Salt pepper and sesame oil was also good as usual. Soo.... I truly am impressed with this place. Not only that, our servers were prompt, we were often checked up on and it was an easy breezy meal. Not to mention, the place is spotless and spacious.

Best Korean BBQ place in the area. I prefer All That KBBQ over Gen in terms of meat quality. The service here is thousands times better then ktown. Only downside is that they occasionally run out of the Winnie the Poohs snack (°°) . Its basically their only type of "dessert". It's a fat rice cake that you let cook on the grill then cut it up and dip it in honey. ( ^^)

Best AYCE BBQ in the SGV.. tho that's really not saying much. Recently moved away so maybe I could be wrong now? There are two other options: O KOOK & GEN.. but I haven't tried kook and didn't enjoy gen on my first experience. Service here at the time was still kinda wonky. I'm not sure if they worked out their system yet but the servers were very friendly. Their selection and quality overall was pretty decent, you also have the option of not doing the AYCE and just simply getting an individual portion. I may be moving back to the area so I hope this place continues to improve! Suggestion: Some of the side dishes began to seem a bit stale.. so if there's a way to fix that I would recommend coming up with some sort of plan

Ok so lately I've been doing a protein run to drop some weight. Yesterday I went to young dong bbq in Arcadia and thought it wasn't bad. Today I went to "All That BBQ" also in Arcadia. In the Arcadia outdoor mall area... I must say these are two very different restaurants. Young Dong hasn't even begun to compare on meat quality, taste, value. All That BBQ restaurant is off the hook and very flavorful. Worth trying and our total bill for the two restaurants was a difference of $3 bucks. Will start coming here more often.

So this is my update for this place. I still give it a 4 star and not 5 because today I had tried their steamed egg and also the winnie the pooh which is a rice cake roll with honey. The steamed egg.... I am super hard on reviews of korean bbq when there is steamed egg. The steamed egg most be good or else places will get lower reviews from me. Why do I think the steam egg is important? Well, #1 you CANT screw up steam egg. Thats impossible I feel to screw steamed egg up. This place made their steam egg super watery. Like you can taste some of the egg taste in their steam egg but you can also taste how much its water down. To me, thats kind of cheap you know? I understand that this place offers all you can eat on steam egg but decreasing on the materials to make the egg hurts the steam egg overall. So Im not a big fan of their steam egg. As for the winnie the pooh rice cake thing, I read some of the reviews about it being nasty tasting. How I did it was I took the rice cake and grilled it. Then cut it up into pieces and pour the honey over it. It tastes so much better that way I feel instead of eating a cold rice cake. Overall, service was great. The waiter was very attentive and always made sure we had everything. Lunch is still pretty worth it but I dont know about dinner and weekends.

We checked out this KBBQ spot when it first opened a few months back and they had their promotional discount -- it came out to $17/ person during that time! Not bad! Normal price is just a bit more. Meat quality is decent, and I do appreciate the abundance of sides and the HUGE serve-it-yourself salad bar selections. Most of the tables are long and shared, so most likely you will be sitting beside your date and not across the table due to the grills and layout. Pretty good vibe considering it's not k-town (cleaner here!) and plenty of parking as it is located in Westfield Santa Anita. I'd come back.

Been here a couple of times. It's not bad. It's inside the outdoor mall, not in the main mall itself. Seating isn't bad and I like that they have the appetizer bar you can get yourself, sort ofl like Manna's. I love jalapenos and garlic so I like being to get what I want and not having to wait on the staff to bring a little plate of 4-5. I do wish these places would leave the salt and oil on the tables because you have to wait on them, and then you get one squeeze of the bottle and they look at you crazy if you want more. Anyway, I can do without the fancy cute nick names for the meat, but the cuts are good compared to many places. I can also do without the front desk girl walking around like a dorm mother at a prison school eyeing your table like you just stole something and reminding us that it's two hours to eat max. I know I'm fat lady but I don't need to be reminded of that. Every time she would walk by, I was afraid she would yell out, "you beee heerrr foourrr hoourrr!" Needless to say I think we were outta there in 1 hour 37 minutes. We'll come back cuz my friends absolutely loves it, but I think it's because he lives 5 minutes away. It's not ground breaking but definitely not the worst out there.

First time here.... Friendly hostess, good service, and meat was above my expectation! Wasn't too crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Ordered the classic ($19.99) since all we eat is the briskets, bulgogi, and the beef tongue. But if you want the premium, it's $21.99. Price is decent and the meat was way better than most Korean BBQ I've eaten at.. What I also like was that they have the salad bar buffet! The cilantro salad was my favorite! The only thing I didn't like was that they needed more vents. As I walked in and out, I smelled like KOREAN BBQ. Overall, I would def come back!

They raised their prices..2 dollars. Lunch is not 14.99 anymore. Shame.....they upgraded their rib meat to galbi but I really enjoyed the rib meat before. Over all not happy with the moves made but atesst they "upgraded" the menu as they increased the prices

I came here last week with three other friends to try this place. My friend had hyped up the banchans, so I was ready to get my AYCE game on. On a weekday evening at about 7:30, there was no wait, although the restaurant was quite busy. We got started by helping ourselves with the AYCE banchan. There's a ton of stuff here - as pictures depict, there are multiple kinds of salad, and then there are spring rolls, warm braised potatoes, fish cakes (yes...unlimited...), kimchi, and lots of other stuff. You could easily get stuffed on this food alone, not to mention the endless meat. Speaking of the meat, there's a lot of it, and all of them have funny or unique names. Instead of, for example, "bulgolgi" the name here is "Tried and True." I think my favorite was the "Don't Rib Me Off," which is seasoned rib meat. Some of my friends thought parts of were too fatty, but I really liked the pieces I had. They're boneless, tender, and well flavored. The "Rice Hot Dog," which is meat wrapped in rice cake, was something I hadn't had elsewhere and thought was at least fun and novel to try. Meanwhile, the staples like beef tongue, pork ribs marinated in soy sauce, brisket, etc. were all very good. The meat tended to be a little leaner than some of the cheaper places, which is great because the pricing here is two tears and starts at $20 for the classic tier, and then goes up to $26 for the premium meats. You can also get vegetables to roast, which is nice if you want a balance of veggies with heavy meat, and there's steamed egg, too, although the ones we got were a bit over-steamed and dilapidated looking. Service: Loved that the service here was great. They're good about checking in on you and don't mess up your order like some other busy places can. They're also good about cutting the meat for you so you don't have to do it yourself. The venue features high ceilings and good ventilation too so you don't leave smelling like meat. Bottom line: Turns out it's a chain. I'd definitely come back. Now if we could only get them to open one in Koreatown...

Went here and it has wine and beer which is a plus. The service is excellent! Everyone is helpful and attentive! Even who I thought was the manager. Drinks came promptly and we went to the food bar to get our own sides! They have Japje which is a favorite and it is delicious. They can't keep it filled because everyone else likes it too! There are other sides which are good too. The meats you order comes immediately and are marinated great. Everything is good and they come and help cut up the meat and keep the heat high or low enough. They change the grills regularly. It is very fairly priced! I think it is my new favorite kbbq restaurant!

Not sure why this place has such high reviews. The food was very blahh. The food had minimal flavor and the little flavor it did have didn't taste like authentic Korean BBQ. The veggie platter they offered was really sad with a couple slices of zucchini, mushroom, eggplant and potato. I was kind of embarrassed for the restaurant when they brought it. The one thing I can give them a high praise for was the service. The people were friendly and attentive so it made for a more pleasant experience than we were otherwise experiencing with the food. I wouldn't go back and also wouldn't recommend this place.

  • Deborah W.

The 2 stars definitely sums it up for me -- "Meh. I've experienced better." Now, I love Korean BBQ but this was such a disappointment. While the service was really nice and friendly, I just can't say the same for the food. The restaurant itself was quite spacious with plenty of big tables. In the back, they have a salad bar along with other side dishes you just get yourself such as kimchi, cucumbers, fish cakes, japchae, etc. Not too much of a selection for a place that offers other side dishes like this but they were pretty good anyhow. You can only order four different types of meat at a time and they do offer some variety. We ended up getting: 1. Skinny Dipping Cow (beef brisket) - This is just the ordinary thinly sliced meat that you'll typically find in other kbbq places in which you'd need a sauce for, which is fine with me! It's the quickest to cook. =) 2. The Best Cow in School (flap tail steak) - This is marinated in olive oil and herbs but it was also very bland. 3. Don't Rib Me Off (seasoned rib meat) - Do not get this! This was made up of 85-90% fat and the rest was actual meat. I made the mistake of ordering this the second time for the second round because I had forgotten which one was which for a moment and apparently, they were all filled with thick chunks of fat that it was hardly edible for me and my friend. Not only that but while it seemed seasoned at first glance, it definitely didn't taste seasoned at all. Yet another bland order but it was the biggest disappointment. 4. Tried & True (bulgogi) - This was supposed to be marinated but when we got this twice, it really wasn't marinated that well! Honestly, all of the sauces we got to dip the meat in made a huge difference and it was really telling how all of the beef (with the exception of the brisket) was tasteless that it needed the sauce badly. 5. Surfin Shrimp - You'll only get four pieces of shrimp per order. Easy to grill so no complaints here! 6. Angry Bird on Fire (spicy chicken bulgogi) - This was the ONLY meat that was marinated and it's only because spicy marinades stand out quite a bit. This wasn't so bad but it's perfect for those who are looking for something a bit spicy depending on your tolerance level. It does say on the menu that they're chicken legs but when you get it, it looks boneless. Be careful for the bones, though! 7. Cuckoo in Asia (garlic chicken bulgogi) - It's boneless chicken meat that this restaurant claims to be "flavorful" in which it was not! It honestly tasted like grilled chicken with no seasoning. Overall, I will definitely not come back as there are much better Korean bbq places out there. It really was a disappointment but at least I know now to avoid this place.

This review is for the hostess and seating. I would rather give this place a zero instead. My mom and I came here at 1pm on Sunday and it wasn't even packed. They werent even calling numbers for any waiting parties. Even CPK was packed more than them. The hostess in the beginning wanted to seat us in the big table with another couple across from us and we didn't want to sit there since they were being all lovey dovey with each other and my mom and I didn't want to lose our appetite dealing with that. So the hostess has us seated in the far corner and my mom wasn't haven't it because she was handicapped and couldn't walk far and that since there's no bells on the table - it would take forever for them to bring us our food. We tried to reason with the snotty hostess and she couldn't and wouldn't even accommodate. That pissed off my mom and we left. The hostess was a brat and wouldn't even sit us at a big EMPTY table. Mind you now, it wasn't even packed at 1pm. If they were calling out numbers, we would be more understanding. For $22 price tag, and shitty hostess hosting, we took our business to another Korean BBQ place and it was so worth the meal and accommodations over there.

This place definitely lives up to its name because it really is ALL THAT! Unlimited Side Bar: This is like Willy Wonka's chocolate factory but for korean side dishes! Fish cake, pickled cucumbers, salad, and anything you can think of they would probably have! Definitely better than the selection at OO-Kook. Meat/ Seafood: Bulgogi, Brisket, and Beef Tongue were the best meats that I tried in my opinion! The squid was pretty good too, but easy to overcook so be careful. AVOID the pork belly! It comes in huge chunks and not slabs which made it really hard to eat because it was too fatty. Soup: Soybean soup was flavorful, but did not taste like it was full of MSG so that was good! Service: Service was pretty good, the server came by numerous time to ask if we wanted more meat and to change our grills. One star deductions for serving me bland steamed egg. Final Verdict: For the price, this meal was totally worth the money because I filled up on my favorite sides that I would usually have to annoy the servers for. Now I can truly get unlimited refills without upsetting anybody so YAY!

This location isn't as good as the irvine one. My friends and I got there around 6:30 and it was just before the rush. The place is pretty spacious and most of the tables were booths. Booths in my opinion isn't a really good idea because the side dishes were all in a self serve bar (irvine one is table set) and since I was sitting on the inside of the booth with 5 people, I didn't really feel the urge to go get side dishes. My favorite thing to get at Kbbq is always steamed egg and the one they had here was unseasoned and small. I also don't really use sauces because the meat usually had a good amount of flavor but I just couldn't taste much of it. My friend ordered a tofu and we did not receive it until 30 minutes later (no exaggeration because we were there the full 2 hour eating period). The staff was friendly but sometimes seemed overwhelmed.

I'VE BEEN SPOILED TOO MUCH BY IRVINE'S ALL THAT BARBECUE. I LOVE that place.. so I had high hopes for this location, but all I can say is that it's definitely DIFFERENT from the Irvine location. The ban-chan is self serve. I guess that can be a plus for some people, but it did not taste as fresh. Kimchi was definitely not fresh.. bleh. But they offered a huge variety of sides from fish cakes, kimchi, seaweed, and bbq ribs(?) lol. They also didn't offer the traditional salad with dressing. COMEONNN people I need my salad with my kbbq. Favorite meat was the Don't Rib Me Off. It was succulent marinated and tender, but at best nothing comparable to other Kbbq places. The quality of the beef tongue and brisket (usually my fave) we're just ok. Steamed eggs came in a steel bowl, not the traditional clay plot. WEIRD TEXTURE. Not as good as how it is in the clay pot. OVERALL very different kbbq experience. I would consider it less than average. Definitely give it a try f you like self-serve ban-chan. But as for me, I'll stick with the Irvine location or when in 626 go to Gen or K-town.

This place cannot be compared to other korean korean BBQ. This place is new, so a lot of the decors and utensils are new along with the clean new storefront they offer. All of the employees are extremely nice and knowledgeable. It's a little bit pricy for a college student but still cheaper than oo-kook. There's a lot of variety of food to choose from, that you will never get sick of eating the same plate of brisket over and over again like other kbbq. Not only the meats offer a wide variety but also the sides. There was more sides than you can handle. However I feel like the chicken is always not on point. Feels like the kung pao chicken I eat from outside, but that doesn't affect my experience and can be easily made up by the other food. I absolutely love this place and will definitely come back everytime I'm back home from school. I think they still offer a free check for a yelp check in

BEST KBBQ SPOT IN ARCADIA Everything here was perfect including their meat selection, quality, and salad bar items. Service was on point and they catered to my every need. I have been to KBBQ places in both Koreatown and Arcadia and these are on par with the best. Better than Oo-kook down the street for sure. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE OUT IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY !!

Rapidly careening downhill. I've been here twice, and sadly, it went from excellent to bleh. I went on a bustling Sunday night, and the salad/sides bar no longer had fish cake, Korean rice sticks or pajeon - is there a crappier selection on Sunday night as opposed to Saturday night? This alone made me so cranky because I was craving all those sides. The service is quite friendly (once you successfully flag down the waitstaff which is quite a feat in itself), but frustratingly SLOW. The orders take forever to come out. That's mighty convenient since there is a 2 hour limit there, and you are limited to X number of orders depending on how many people are in your party (for a party of 2, we could only place 2 orders at a time; for a party of 4, we could place 4 orders at a time). Tips for the restaurant: Add in those Korean bells so diners can ding ding when service is needed. Put the radish and rice papers in the salad bar section. Clean up the sticky icky floors. Better sides!

Came here last night and the service was so horrible . I just had to write a review about my experience . The food was amazing , the prices were okay . But our waitress was rude , impatient , and has no common sense about food service . She never told us her name . Most of the time we were there we were looking for someone to fill our waters . About thirty minutes past we had to get up and get a server . Let me tell you , if it was busy last night I would understand . But it wasn't so ... Anyways as the night went by we noticed our waitress disappeared for a good hour and I called a guy over and he asked us if we needed the check . I said no we need the manager because our waitress disappeared without saying anything . Comes to find out that she was on break . When the manager came . He wasn't apologetic at all . Not even like a " oh I'll go talk to her ". So no apologies at all from our waitress when she finally came back . It was more like we were an inconvenience to her .

Tried this place on a Friday night, we came two hours before closing time and there was no wait. Actually, there was plenty of space. So 20 per person..not including weekends and only at dinner time - fair price, however I was expecting more items on the menu. Maybe I'm too used to Gen's (which is 20 dollars also, and you are actually treated as if it was a sit down restaurant) So I thought I would have like the concept of being able to go fetch your own dishes and sides and soups and what not..it's not a bad idea since we don't have to bug the servers, but I realized that I shouldn't be tipping as well as I usually do for an actual restaurant since I have to get up and gather my own things. I didn't like how they literally didn't serve any banchan onto the table at all, the concept like this, is not korean at all. On to the food, everything tasted average theres not spectactular anything that stands out to me at All That Barbeque..The only special thing they have here is that some of the meats are seared for you already, but might I remind you that they are only HALF way cooked...uhhhh why not just cook it for us all the way or just let us cook it..what is the point of having it half cooked? We had this long rope of meat..which I believe were ribs..some sort..wasn't a fan. The only thing that stood out to me from this restaurant was the soup and the way they serve their steamed eggs. Other than that, I would rather go to Gen's for KBBQ. Service was pretty good..to be honest..the bus boy took our orders and got our stuff for us a couple of times. We sat right in front of where they place their orders and what not but each time we would always have to call them over. Overall, not really a fan.

Price is up there (like most kbbq spots these days), but good selection, good service, and good location (at the mall!). Couple of gripes is the slowly dwindling selection at the buffet area and the greasy tables and surfaces...they need to learn to clean better...only reason why I give a 3-star

Okay, I'm not a huge fan of Korean bbq ayce cause I'm trying to cut down out my beef intake. This place I really like cause they have sides galore. I have never been to any other Korean bbq ayce place and was actually really happy coming out of the restaurant. I barely touched the meat here cause I went sides crazy happy. There was so many options. Okay, there was the glass noodles, salad bar, vegetable eggs rolls, rice cakes, kim che fried rice, potato salad, soup, pumpkin porridge, rice, spicy cucumber. Man there was a lot of good sides. All the sides, you got to get up and get it yourself. Which is way better cause you can do a little exercise while getting another plate of the food. You can get more of certain things or less things. I couldn't really say much for the meat I think it better picking elsewhere but I didn't miss it one bit. Also, they has rice paper and steam egg that you order with the waiters. Services seen really nice and they always came over to change our grill pretty fast. Also, the 20% discount last month was a plus. Something new and good at the mall and afterward you can also walk it off at the mall with your hair smelling like bbq. Only down side is you will be smelly afterward.

Tried this place over the weekend, it is located at the Santa Anita Mall in the Promenade area. We didn't have to wait long and got seated promptly when the whole party got there. You have to go up and get your own plate, fork and spoons, only thing provided to us when seated was napkins and chopsticks. Sauces were brought to us which were the typical sauces you'd expect from any Korean BBQ restaurant, although we did have to ask for sesame oil as they didn't bring it to us. They have a bar area where you are to retrieve your plates and spoons like a buffet area. There are many options to choose from; white rice, fried rice, clear noodles, pickles, bean sprouts, egg rolls, etc... most of the typical side dishes you get brought to you at other KBBQ places are for you to get yourself. The table mat/paper has all the selection of meats to choose from. All That Barbecue does some things differently, sure you'll find the traditional brisket, tongue, shrimp or pork belly, they also have uniquely flavored choices. One of them was the rice cake hot dog. When it arrived, it was slightly seared on the top and raw on the bottom for you to grill. It tasted like a typical hamburger patty with noticeable rice cake crunches in the middle. Another item that was sort of precooked was the tail steak, it was cut into small pieces but was interesting to us because it came slightly precooked, guess we are all more used to everything being raw. Only thing I really enjoyed was the beef tongue and their pork belly. The pork belly was a thickly sliced piece, it was chopped into a smaller index sized portion, it was pretty tasty and fatty. Overall I think this place is ok, prices are about the same, you can also opt out of the all you can eat, and order individual items, which doesn't seem worth it because the pricing isn't that much cheaper for one item. Set up looks nice though.

This new kbbq restaurant is located in the mall! Since I was a high school student Santa Anita mall is one of the malls that we frequently visit and this is very familiar to me. One day I was passing by, I noticed all that BBQ and I was excited to try it out! Expecting an authentic / legit kbbq place near the 626 but don't have to drive all the way to ktown or Rowland? Great! With the grand opening special, 20% off and the lunch price is sooooo reasonable, everything begins so smoothly. A friend and I walked in on a Friday afternoon, it's before 3 and the waiters told us that it was still lunch price for us. Woah great! We wanted to sit by the wall, and the moment we sat down we worried that no one will be able to see us cuz it's so hidden; which means it's hard for us to order ...? nope! The waiters always make sure that everything is ok with us and acknowledged us whenever we need them. Friendly service is a big plussss! Food: u can order 4 items each round and about 2 rounds we couldn't take it anymore. So I guess the 2 hr limit is very reasonable cuz we only took about an hr and 20 mins or so! Also that benefits the people who r waiting! And they have a mini salad/ appetizer bar with japchae, make-ur-own salad, spicy Ricecake, kimchi, sliced potato, kimchi fried rice; and I really like the potato salad as well. The menu is also very cute, generally that have 20 types of meat on the menu, but some of them is dinner only, so make sure u come during dinner time if u want to try those. The first time I order I felt so slow bcuz the names r so funky ... Like " pork paradise.. That's all folks.." Then later I found out an easy way: by the numbers .. Lol! For the meat quality, it's mediocre but some of them really surprise me. Like the size of the shrimp- so huge ( well comparing to the other kbbq places) .. The beef tongue and the beef brisket is up to standard. The Ricecake with honey is a fun try. Overall I love this place and I'll be bak fosho! It's nearby the mall so it's so much more convenient for shoppers!

As a Korean BBQ obsessed individual, All That Barbecue definitely hit the spot, but there was something lacking at this KBBQ chain. ATB is different in the sense that you get your own side dishes in a buffet style type area. They have a good selection of meats, but the portions they serve are rather small. I would say it's about half the size of other kbbq places, but that's not a bad thing as its easier to gage how much to order and not waste! I did not see any ice cream for after, but it could have been in the buffet style area and I just missed it. The service was okay as well. The waiters weren't super happy, upbeat individuals and most of them seemed like it was such a chore to serve the customers, but as the meal progressed, they did become a bit more friendly, so I can't complain that it was horrible as it was just average. Overall, ATB was a different kbbq experience for me. I enjoyed the meats and like that I could pick out my own sides in case I didn't eat certain sides. One thing to note, I do believe they charge $5.99 for leftover meats on the table.

Dined at this restaurant this past Monday night for dinner with my husband and my mother. We were still able to take advantage of the 20% grand opening discount (goes until Aug 31). We arrived around 6:20 pm and were able to be seated right away. As time passed, more and more people started coming in. Anyways, these are the items we had: Skinny- Dipping Cow (#1), The Best Cow in School (#2), Don't Rib Me Off (#3), Speak Your Beefy Mind (#5), That's All Folks (#9), Cuckoo in Asia (#14), Surfin Shrimp (#16), Eight Firey Arms (#17), Winnie The Pooh's Snack (#18), Green Land (#19), Start Your Engine (#20, non spicy option). I love the cute little names of their meat, but my husband thought they were quite distracting. We would always order by the number and never by the name since it was quite a lot to say if, for example, wanted to order a non spicy chicken dish (number 14, Cuckoo in Asia). Most of the food items come in half size plates of meat so that you are able to order different types of meat w/o getting too overly full. But the Don't Rib Me Off (#3) comes in a large size. We had asked to have it as a half size order as the other meats that came out to us and the server tried 2 times to get it right (you are charged additional if you have excessive leftovers). By the 3rd time, the manager came by our table and said the #3 does not come in the smaller size but said he would make it special for us this time.... (which made my husband and I feel kind of weird... as if the manager was really going out of his way to do us such a big favor to give us less meat...). All of the meat items we had were great tasting. One complaint I would have though would be the Winnie The Pooh's Snack, number 18. The rice cake was bland and was given in a long strip. Would have been nice if it was cut in pieces. The honey that went with the rice cake was wonderful. It wasn't the typical honey that I have at home because it had an additional sweetness. I just wanted to eat the honey all on it's own (if you order this, you only get 1 order of this. If you want one per person, you need to specify to your server). Service was good overall. Our server was Ching and he was friendly and helpful. Our dirty dishes were taken away in a timely manner. I liked the salad buffet area for the salad, cooked meat, soups, white rice & noodles and banchan. But I am not a fan of raw meat being prepared right in front of the cooked meat... possible cross contamination could be going on here and I am not a fan of having food poisoning. Overall, glad that I came here and finally got a chance to try this place. I think that even after the grand opening discount, I would still come back here again. By the way, this place is located in the promenade at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall, kind of close to Charming Charlie & Macy's.

I used to go to Young Dong Tofu on Baldwin and Duarte for my Korean fix, since I had recently come back from China after 5 years and wasn't yet up-to-date on my local eateries. Then, I discovered this place and the carnivore in me quickly overshadowed my humble desires for the modest tofu. The carnivore demanded meat, delicious meat and lots of it. It made me return to this place again and again and held no regard for how long it took to drive here, despite the gas prices. Finally, after moving out of state, the carnivore has retreated, but I feel that it's biding its time, waiting for me to try out the local Turkish restaurant and its kebabs.

What an amazing place in an equally amazing location...I never knew they had a spot in Irvine, but the cute menu names and unique items enticed me to try it! The quality of meat is great, as is the service and the cold side dishes. Kimchi is the fresh kind (not sour), if you like that, though I highly recommend the seaweed, cucumber, and bean sprouts. Hot sides, on the other hand, are a bit lacking in flavor and rather greasy. For example, he tempura were all clumped together and the popcorn chicken was mostly grease and batter. Luckily, the main focus is on the meat... Meats were mostly good, with a nice marinate for those that have it. I highly recommend the usual chadol (#1), as well as the ribs (both beef and pork). Actually, everything I tried was rather tasty. Only things I'd criticize was that the bulgogi didn't really have that full bulgogi flavor, though it was good...and there was no LA kalbi. They had boneless ribs which were amazing, but I wouldn't say they have the more traditional marinates. Overall, great place to be, especially if you're feeling extra hungry after all that shopping! Do come try it soon, before it gets heavily crowded and packed!!

This ayce kbqq spot is definitely worth a try (especially with theirgrand opening discount of 20% until 8/31)! I'd say out of all the kbbq places in 626, All That Barbecue is the best bang for your bucks. The restaurant is located on the promenade at the Santa Anita Westfield Mall. My friends and I came here around 9pm on a Wednesday for our first time and were seated right away. It's 19.99 for dinner (M-F 3pm - closing). We ordered a wide variety of their meat selection. I posted pictures of all the different meat we tried. Their beef had nice marbling. All of our pork orders came in thick slices except for the Rolling Neck which was flavorful but a bit dry. The quality of their meat was good, mostly tender and flavorful. Better than Gen and comparable to Oo Kook. Plus, the quality of their meat stayed consistent no matter how many orders you have made. I loved their grill. Most of the heat was concentrated in the middle where you can leave your meat cooking to get crispy. Then you can leave the cooked meat on the side for it to stay warm as you pick off the grill and eat. Their salad bar was decent. Nothing much to rave about. I sampled small amounts of sides and didn't go back for seconds. You get to mix your own salad. There is an option of iceberg and romaine lettuce. I enjoyed their kimchi and steamed egg. Unfortunately, they ran out of rice paper when we were there. That's okay for me, but a lot of my friends like eating kbbq with rice paper. The service was excellent! The servers had perfect timing and always came to check on us right when we were ready to make our next order. We requested to change our grill and our server happily did it. When it was time for last order at around 10:30pm, the server offered to change our grill again, which was nice for the last order of our meal.

We had come here so many times,we like the food. Last Friday our family together to have dinner,we enjoy durning the time. But so regretful after dinner my husband's stomach feel uncomfortable, later my daughter vomit so heavy!(the next day we take her to see doctor),we think back both of them eat the vanilla pork! Hope other people eat that item feel well that day!

Not sure when this place opened up but we were hungry walking through the promenade and decided to try it. Loved this place for a few reasons: 1. Unlike the traditional kbbq places they didnt place all of the appeitzers like kimchee, potatoe salad etc out that usually gets wasted. They place all if those items in a bar setting so you can choose the items you like. Sauces, salad and rice as well! Very effecient concept 2. The menu gives you multiple options for regular and added premium meat. The menu also had some different concepts of meat that arent your traditional items for kbbq. Like the hamburger patty rice cake item. Thought that was cool. 3. Some of the tables had the grills with internal vents rather than hoods. So it wasnt as smoky as some places can get. Overall place was good and service was excellent. Interesting that its in the mall setting as well. Only reason i didnt give it 5 stars was because i still think Gen has the best quality meat. But 100% will come back to this place so i can try the other items on the menu.

I've been to the Irvine location when I was still at UCI. When I discovered they were opening one at the mall here I was so excited! Finally, a good ayce kbbq place close to home. All time favorite is still #3 Don't Rib Me Off. Same deal as in Irvine: comes rolled up like a cinnamon roll for space efficiency and is SOO TENDER AND JUICY. Brisket (#1) is also good and portions are large. Skirt steak (#2) and beef tongue (#5) are delicious as well however we got very tiny portions of them, which really isn't a problem since we can just order more later on. I'm not a fan of bulgogi and the bulgogi they offered here didn't change my mind. Instead of having salad and little plates of banchan with the table setting this restaurant has as salad bar instead where you can help yourself to whatever side dishes, salads, and other miscellaneous Korean dishes such as spicy dukbokki and baked yam slices you want. They even have watermelon and honeydew! Table setting does include rice paper/sliced radish and sauces - their brisket sauce in particular is worth noting: they throw in a couple jalepeno slices so its just a little spicy and different from your typical brisket sauce. I don't take spicy things well but I absolutely loved the jalepeno flavor in the brisket sauce. The waitstaff are relatively young and super welcoming and cool. Music selection seems to be mostly EDM/dance-y which, in combination with the modern blue-lit interior design, gives the whole place a great vibe. In this aspect it is VERY different from the Irvine location. The ambiance of this place is definitely more suited for young adults/college students. There was no wait when I came early Friday night at 5:30 with my sister and my cousin. Right now they have an opening event deal where they will take 20% off you entire bill up til 8/31! Definitely take advantage of this because ITS SO WORTH :D

AYCE korean bbq, salad/sides bar, huge location with lots of seating. Quality is good and what you would expect for a $20 price. Not much more to say its an AYCE korean bbq place. The thing I wasn't a fan of was the silly names they had for everything on the menu. Are they trying to cater to teenagers and the younger crowd being that it is located at a mall? I don't get it.

Came here for lunch with my cousins just to try it out and because they were having a 20% off deal for their grand opening! Parking was easy to find considering we came on a Monday afternoon, it is in the promenade section of the santa anita mall so if you come on a Friday or the weekend it'll probably be a lot more crowded. The one thing that stood out the most here was the service, best service I've had at a KBBQ place. The prices were pretty good $14.99 for lunch $19.99 for dinner & on weekends its $21.99. It's buffet style for the sides and honestly the sides were not that great. They looked kind of unappetizing and they were not as hot and fresh as I would like them to be. They did have a big selection of broiled egg, spicy rice cakes, spicy popcorn chicken, glass noodle, and kimchi fried rice. I didn't try the kimchi fried rice but it looked cold and not too yummy. The broiled egg looked like pudding but tasted like egg. I think everything would have tasted better if it was warmer. The meat was okay. My two favorites were the brisket and the beef tongue, they were cut really thin which I liked. The other meat were kind of cut too large and made it hard to cook -- which made us eventually overcook the meat. Didn't enjoy the spicy pork too much either, had a weird aftertaste. We tried out almost all the different meats, but I did enjoy the clever names of the dishes :P Overall it was OK, good for the price since it was 20% off, not sure if I'll be back but maybe since it's alot closer than any other cheap kbbq places !

GOOD QUALITY AYCE KBBQ & GOOD DEALS ON DRINKS?! I'm with it. I love me some good food and drinks . who doesn't.. A friend told me about their drink promo: Buy 1 beer, Get 1 for A PENNY. When we got there they actually had the Beer Tower for only $12. so we just ended up getting that instead. This one was way different than the Irvine location.. in a good way. More spacious/ cool vibe to it/ got the side dish, salad bar. These yelpers weren't lying about their great service. definitely going back.

Came here with my dance team as it was highly suggested by joy, and i have to say it was great. With such a large party, i didnt think we would get the best service, but our servers were very attentive and catered to our endless orders with haste and smiles. I found myself eating so much regardless of the amount of people we had, and the quality of the brisket was so good! Definitely worth the money and it is local, so i will surely be coming back!

Lately, we haven't been to a really good kbbq place with good service. The servers usually fail to check up on us regularly. We are always low on water or sides. This all changed when my family came here for the first time the other day. The food was ok but the service was what made the whole experience great. I believe our waiter's name was Chris. He sat us and helped explain the menu. I am a pescetarian so he recommended me to get the one with seafood included. After our food arrived he kept coming to our table to change the grill out whenever necessary and bring us whatever else we needed. Another cute girl server by the name of Kaley I believe also was a great server. If you come eat here next time, I recommend you ask for Chris or Kaley to serve you. They were both very helpful and attentive. You will not regret it.

I LOVE KIMCHI.. it's seriously like my favorite food. The kimchi here was ehh.. Price: Pretty reasonable for a k-bbq place outside of k-town. About 20 bucks per adult? Parking: Mall parking! Park near the promenade (Macys/Nordstrom area) Service: Not bad, they're running around like crazy. You should order like more than 1 dish at a time because it takes a while for them to get it out. Food & Drinks: The meat was fine. I enjoy spicy chicken. They also have kimchi and steamed egg and fried rice and soup and salad bars. Those were okay. Notes: The wait is pretty long. We waited about 45 mins for a party of 6 for dinner. You'll def come out smelly. K-bbq always leaves the strongest smell on you. Also, expect bad breath the next morning :) those are just the sacrifices one has to take to enjoy k-bbq! Overall: If I wanted AYCE KBBQ, I'll probably save it for a k-town trip. If I were just craving korean food, I'd probably hit up a local Korean restaurant. Not sure if I'd come here unless I were starving after a crazy workout and wanted to protein load, haha. The place was clean? I liked how got up to get our own kimchi or else I'll be bothering the waitstaff like crazy with the amount of kimchi I consume.

Pretty good selection of meats. All the sides are at the salad bar. You have to make your own salad. If you want rice paper or daikon radish you will have to ask the waiter for it. You also have to ask a waiter to refill your sauce. Service is excellent. Prices- $14.99 lunch, $19.99 dinner, $21.99 weekend. No reservations after 6 pm.

Great kbbq outside of K-town! It's located in the Santa Anita mall. The few times I've been here there hasn't been a wait. They limit your eating time to 2 hours, and charge leftovers. The food is great. Awesome meat selection even for the Classic choice. Our favorites are the seasoned rib meat, bulgogi, and spicy chicken bulgogi. They have a self-serve bar at the back, with unlimited veggies and wraps, condiments, banchan, hot food, porridge, and fruits. Great selection of prepared food. Service is great too. Servers come by often to refill drinks and change the grills. Definitely my go-to kbbq place when I don't want to make the drive to ktown.

I've been a fan of All That BBQ store in Irvine and am glad to see their second location in Arcadia which is a lot closer from dtla. Most of menu items are pretty much same but they've added awesome salad bar section with an open kitchen concept. It's more likely mini buffet bar with some banchans, salad items, soups and etc. It was their Day2 and lunch hours seemed pretty busy but staffs were very kind and attentive. This store is located at the promenade at Westfield mall and it should be one of the best spots with a lot of traffic almost everyday. Will be back here whenever I come here for shopping. :)

Food: As any typically KBBQ place, they offer different meats that you cook. The quality of the meat seems to be standard. Though, the side dishes were not that great. Our grill was not working well (it took longer than usual to cook even brisket!) Food rating: 3/5 Service: Service here is decent. The odd part is the waiters kept on sending the wrong dishes to our table! We did not order them, at one point, the waiter was like - did you want it? They must made a mistake on double ordering something and did not want to bring it back to the kitchen. Service rating: 2.5/5 Price: We had their dinner menu which was $20, excluding the 20% off. Overall: I do agree with other yelpers that this is probably one of the better KBBQ place in SGV. A couple of things that I did not like was the grill - poor grill = poor cooking. Also, if you cannot finish your food, you will get charged for it. Alas, I would pass on this KBBQ joint.

Can this finally be a legit kbbq joint without having to drive out to ktown?! Read on below! This location is located in the promenade in the mall. Parking is a breeze and make sure you arrive early because by the time we left there was already a wait outside. The interior is very modern, if you are expecting more of an authentic kbbq experience than look elsewhere. This is more catered to the average joe who doesn't venture out into ktown that often but still wants to experience kbbq. Instead of just stating the meat they give it cute names which I didn't really care about for example: Skinny- Dipping Cow (#1) The Best Cow in School (#2) Don't Rib Me Off (#3) Speak Your Beefy Mind (#5) Can you tell what kind of meats those are above? No? I don't blame you, I would rather have them just state out what kind of cut of meat is it (brisket, bulgogi, galbi, etc) the salad bar is mediocre at best but my friend really loved the potato salad. I try to avoid the salad bar when I'm at kbbq because I want to eat more MEAT!! Service is on point but since it's still the Grand Opening I can understand that they want everyone to have a pleasant experience. I will have to come back in a couple months to see if it is still the same. If you want to get your kbbq fix without having to drive another 20+ miles than this is certainly a good alternative. The meat quality is above average and I left full and satisfied. 4/5 - Would come back, I'm a fan!

To be honest, I just like having the ability to make unlimited steak here for like $26. Add some salt and pepper (push it), maybe some sesame oil (waiter is confused at why we asked for the whole bottle), sear the meat and enjoy. They give you the whole steak, not frozen either. Mmm... Oh yeah, they also have these Korean dumpling things that reminds me of empenadas, yeah those are delicious.

For me, this place was just okay. The meat and the side dishes were very bland. Service was bland too, we had to wave down our server everytime because they would walk right passed us. Overall, I prob won't come back :/

New spot at the Santa Anita Mall in the upper wing outside of Macy's. Decent quality of meat for Korean BBQ, but good for the area. Their service is excellent, but stands above is that they have their banchans in a salad bar form so that you don't have to continuously ask servers for refills.

My friend insisted on taking me here because he loved the other location in Irvine. We came on Monday at around 2pm and there was no wait. We were quickly seated in a booth. Looking around, the decor was clean, sleek and quite modern and the restaurant was conveniently located in the Promenade of the mall. There's a salad bar where you can help yourself to salad, side dishes and other foods like dobukki which was delicious by the way. You get 4 orders of meat at a time, so I got to try quite a few of them. Some of the meats were limited to dinner only, but there still remained a lot of options for lunch. All the items have cute unique names and descriptions! I liked the Skinny-Dipping Cow, which was thinly sliced brisket and the Don't Rib Me Off, which was seasoned and boneless beef ribs. The marinated beef belly, bulgogi and pork belly were also worth an honorable mention. We ended our meal with the Winnie the Pooh's Snack, which was honey rice cake. I've never had that before so it was an interesting change in pace. Though all the workers were helpful and smiley, they were also painfully SLOW, which was weird since the previous reviews stressed such wonderful service. I swear we stopped THREE different waiters and ordered meat THREE different times. And our orders still never came until I stopped a hostess in frustration. That's totally not cool, considering I get full ridiculously quickly when I'm just waiting and being idle. I need faster service so I can enjoy a wider selection of meat. With that said, the quality of the meat saved this review from being merely 2 stars. Anyway, with the 20% off for the Grand Opening, I'm not going to complain too much about the price since it's only $15/person after tip and tax. But for a new restaurant that needs to draw in returning customers, I expected a lot more than this subpar service. Sorry, but All That Barbecue isn't really all that after all.

In comparison to the other kbbq places around, I liked this one better because the ventilation is much better (but me and my party all noticed it was very cold in there), service is good, and the side dishes is serve yourself buffet style. For the classic dinner ($19.99+tax) there's plenty to choose from and per the waiters instructions they serve four plates at a time. The food was good, but in my opinion all kbbq places taste the same. Be aware that all over the side dish buffet and menu they advertise that if you don't finish they will charge you extra. I don't know how much they honor that, but the signs are there ($5.99 for unfinished sides). Overall, this place will satisfy the kbbq cravings and a decent place to come back to. Since it is at the Santa Anita Mall you can expect parking to be difficult on weekends and hard to find because the promenade area is still "new"ish. But as always, expect to leave with your clothes and pores smelling like kbbq!

Like the one in Irvine, ATBBQ is top notch. The service is great and the meat is quality. What's different with this location is that they offer a salad bar with all your sides. So instead of you asking for all the banchan, you can get it yourself, when ever you want. Large selection, so it is worth it in my opinion. It makes sense so that customers get what they want rather then getting 9 small dishes, and only eating 2 and wasting the other. I also need to mention that they are offering a buy 1 get the other for 1cent beer special right now! Go get it!

Juicy AYCE pork belly What really stood out to me was the pork belly. I thought the pork belly was cut too thick but boy was I wrong. The marinated pork belly was soooo delicious and juicy. It was definitely my favorite out of the list. The ribs was also very good but very fatty which gave it a lot of flavor. The appetizers at the bar were ok, the best was the sweet potato by far. The other dishes were cut too thin so could not really get a good flavor out of it. The beef dishes were all very thin and hard to eat and hard to share since it stuck together. I would probably recommend also that the salad bar was better. The salad that's usually at the table is made by you so it's not as good as the prepared salads that are usually given. I like that the rice paper and radish paper were included although the rice paper felt thinner it still went we'll with the food. The service was great, the servers usually had a smile when they took orders and walked around. They constantly paid attention to customers and went to each table to see if there are additional requests. Kevin the server was very nice.

Move over, Hai Di Lao Hot Pot. There is a new hot spot in town and that is ALL THAT BARBECUE. It does not hurt that they are offering a 20% off until 8/31. AYCE KBBQ fans should give this place a try! My mother and I arrived at the Arcadia mall, hoping to grab dinner at Hai Di Lao Hot Pot, on a weekday night. Even on a weekday night, the wait for Hai Di Lao was going to be 45-50 minute. So, we wandered off looking for possible food options. We saw All That Barbecue and the big 20% off sign and thought "why not?" We came in and got seated right away. I have to say that I was slightly confused with the menu and the waiter did not help ease that confusion. I was confused whether the menu was for entrees only or for ayce. Turned out, it is for both! Despite my initial confusion, I liked the fact that the menu had three different languages - Korean, English and Chinese :). Plus the meats have pretty creative names. My mom and I ordered beef tongue, beef brisket, pork belly, marinated rib meat beef and a plate of veggies. My favorite was the marinated rib meat beef. It was very juicy and tender! We also liked the open bar of banchan and salad. I wished there was more variety of fruits and desserts available. During the grilling, I felt that the fire was so low causing grilling to be very slow for two hungry people. I had to wave the waiter down several times to turn up the heat. Nevertheless, the service was overall good. The waiter was attentive and checked in once in while to make sure everything was okay. Overall, I would give this place a 3.5 stars (but rounding up to a 4 star since it is a new business). I think if this place works out some of their service kinks, this place can easily be a 4 star. Last note - I am glad that there is a new Korean bbq place near my parent's house. It is very clean with good service and good food. I do not think my family will need to trek down to K-town anymore now that All that bbq is here.

Okay I really hope the manager or owner really reads this! I've been coming to this place A LOT, but yesterday I had the WORST experienced in my life with my server. Her name is Cindy and she was terrible. Not once did she came up to us until we flagged her down EVERY TIME! It was so bad that I had to complain to the host. And I'm pretty sure the host told someone to help us but still no one came. We literally finished our first 4 orders of meat and we still waited to order our second order. I needed to ask Cindy for "tongs and scissors and rice paper" and she didn't come all the way to my table, she just looked at my table and said "tongs" and walked away but I needed to ask her for other things. That was just rude! It's sad because Cindy even knew she was a horrible server that she came to us and explained to us how "it's busy we only have 2 servers, blah blah blah" and I was like " not once did anyone came to us, and everyone that was here the same time we were here ALL left by now." and she just repeated herself. It was ridiculous! She just couldn't respond to what I had said because she even knew it was true. The host started helping us here and there but it sucks because that's not her job to help us, that's why we have a server right? We also lastly asked Cindy for the Winnie the Pooh snacks that we NEVER got! And we asked for our check. Literally about 10 min later with no check I just went up to the host and had just paid there, and I was just starring at Cindy doing completely NOTHING And just talking to her coworkers! Seriously Cindy should be replace or she should be trained to be a good server! The food is good obviously because I came here a lot but now if I ever ever ever come here again and I see Cindy, I will strictly asked to have a different server. she seriously sucked!!!!

I had a bad feeling about this place since I saw it. My gf and I were supposed to go to Gen BQQ, but instead she wanted to eat here because of the Rice cake... Anyway, the services was bad, it was slow and the servers were just standing around. The food was not good, the side dishes is nasty, the kimchi tasted like it was been out for a long time. The meat was frozen and it was not good, I mean a 10$ kbbq can tastes way better than this place. Steaks and other good meats is not include in the Regular option "22$ per person". It was pricey and no much options, and I'm sorry but nothing is good there. anyway, don't go here if you're a kbbq lover, you will be disappoint. ITS NOT WORTH THE PRICE!!

Mmm all that BBQ good in my belleh!!! They definitely have good quality meat here. I highly recommend their beef tongue. I'm a little bias though, since it my favorite KBBQ meat. Just make sure you don't over cook it. Be sure to try their all you can eat, self service appetizer bar. The hot foods were not really fresh, or should I say cold foods. Those of you who like the steam egg, don't even bother trying it. It's not smooth and its flavorless.

We came here for the first time craving Korean BBQ. We weren't disappointed! The wait staff was very helpful walking us through the ordering process. The kimchi and other banchan were delicious. Our favorites were the hotty piggy, spicy marinated pork, the bulgogi, and the boneless beef ribs. It was a great dining experience and saved us a drive to Koreatown. The only gripe was that the music was too loud, and not to our taste.

AYCE weekend dinner = $21.99 20% grand opening discount = ($4.40) Total per person pre-tax = $17.59 Woohoo! Feels like a good deal. What kept me going this weekend and with my final exam due Sunday was going out for Korean BBQ right after submitting my final exam Sunday night. We got to the Promenade around 7 pm and were seated pretty promptly. There is an option to order AYCE of one item (for a cheaper price) but since this was our first time, we opted for the AYCE on all menu items. Favorites from their 20+ item menu included: - beef tongue. it is thinly sliced so it cooks faster but still retains its texture. - brisket. always a standard favorite. - seasoned rib meat. it comes with two rolled pieces. a bit fatty but excellent - flap tail steak. nicely marinated and seared. comes in 4-5 pieces. yumm! We also ordered the winnie the pooh's snack (which is just a long piece of rice cake that comes with honey on the side), octopus (only two pieces with a lot of onions in the bowl of foil), bulgogi, tofu soup, and rice hot dog (which was just meat shaped into a hamburger-like patty...no rice cake at all and not at all like a hot dog), but those you can pass if you want to save room in your belly for the good stuff. They also have a K-food bar and salad island where you build your own salad (the kind that would normally come to your table with your ban chan), get some soup, some kimchi, and other cooked items. No ban chan at this place, but they do bring you rice paper and slices of radish. Service was pretty good, though we had two different servers checking up on us, so we were confused on really who to flag down when we needed something. Looks like a great alternative to Oo-kook and Korea House BBQ in the east side of SGV.

Meat quality is really good. A few bucks more than I would like but I'd definitely come back. The Korean burger patty and thick cut beef belly are pretty unique. Also loved the wagyu skirt steak-- it's super tender at med rare, don't over cook it. I called asking about wait time, they told me none. I got there a few mins later, they told me wait was 45 mins. We actually waited 20 mins. So.. I would probably not trust their judgement on wait time.

All that bbq is one of my favorite AYCE bbqs. Meat is high quality and the service is pretty good Try the Korean rice candy at the hostess desk, it's pretty yummy!

it's a toss up between this shop and kirin buffet if you're looking for ayce places around the mall...imo if you want kbbq, this shop is not bad, if you want other things, kirin is your go-to shop. Now let me get this clear, service-wise, this place has absolutely amazing service, my friend and i were waited on by at least 5 different servers who all came to check up on us during the entirety of dining experience. Meat selection was decent, sides were however a bit lacking, i'd like to see more more-authentic sides...... food wise, 4 stars, extra star for the amazing service though... also you can put down your number if you did not rsvp ahead of time, go walk around the mall, someone will phone you to come back as soon as your table is ready for you

All That Barbecue finally made a move over to SGV after being in Irvine for so long, and this is such a good move for them. Some notes: Lunch (1130AM-3PM M-F) - $14.99 AYCE / $11.99 One Item Dinner (3PM - Closing, M-F) - $19.99 AYCE / $15.00 One Item Weekend (1130AM - Closing) - $21.99 AYCE / $16.99 One Item **There is a 20% discount for their grand opening special until August 31! I came here spontaneously w/my brother & his friend yesterday afternoon after finding out that their lunch hours last until 3PM! That is so awesome... most places end at 2PM. We got there at 2:40PM, just before their lunch prices ended, & was greeted by a friendly hostess, Kevin was our server. He was very friendly w/us, making sure we understood the concept at ATB, & let us know that we would be given 20% off for their grand opening special (which lasts until Aug 31!). Our first round, we ordered Speak Your Beefy Mind (Beef Tongue), Rice Hot Dog (Meat Wrapped in Rice Cake), & Hotty Piggy (Spicy Pork), & Kevin placed our orders while the rest of us went over to the salad bar to pick up some eats while we waited for our meat. The self serve bar consists of a salad station w/fruits to the left; hot foods like spicy orange chicken, kimchi fried rice, japchae, egg rolls, etc in the middle; & to the right were the typical banchan dishes like kimchi, potato salad, etc. This was different from your typical KBBQ place, & the nice thing is that it's self serve... so you can gorge on your potato salad w/o any shame. To me, the self serve bar wasn't anything special, it was more so "fillers" so you get full faster. The Spicy Orange Chicken (not spicy at all) was actually pretty good! I usually don't like orange chicken, but the flavor here was great. I thought the veggie eggrolls were pretty good, &the seaweed was delicious. Their kimchi was pretty spicy, so score! My bro & his friend didn't like the fried rice though, I didn't care for it. When we got back to the table, we saw that the server helped us cook some of our meats while we were gone. The Rice Hot Dog was like a burger patty with rice cakes on the inside. It was very moist & had good flavor, but my brother didn't think it was anything special. The spicy pork was very flavorful, & caramelized on the grill quickly, so we had to change the grill right after our first round of meats.. sorry! The Beef Tongue is my favorite to get during KBBQ, so it was nice to see it was included in their lunch menu, & the quality of it was delish! Not thin, like Gen KBBQ, but not thick like Korea House. The marbling was great, & stayed very juicy throughout our meal. We had also ordered the Skinny Dipping Cow (Brisket), the quality of the brisket was beyond mediocre. For the price we paid, I was expecting better quality brisket, at least for the first order we had placed. We didn't order it again. We also had the Don't Rib Me Off (Seasoned Rib Meat) and it was so good! The seasoning was good, but the meat alone was good enough to not need any marinade. The quality was great, especially at such a cheap price. They had seared off some of the meat prior to bringing it to us, so that helped it cook a bit faster. The Porky Paradise (Pork Belly) was sliced VERY thick, so it was a little bit hard cooking if you're not familiar with how to cook it. I seared it once on both sides, & still had to cut through it in case it wasn't cooked enough. Very good and tender though! The You Won't Know Until You Try (3 kinds of Intestines) weren't anything special to us... My bro & I eat intestines a lot, & I've had better at other places... but this place was pretty good for the most part. They came with the traditional dipping sauce for intestines! Score :) The Surfin' Shrimp wasn't anything special. The Eight Fiery Arms (baby octopus) came marinated, & my brother and his friend loved it. I'm not a fan of octopus, so I didn't eat any. What sets ATB apart from your typical KBBQ joints are not only the funny & playful names, but all of the workers here (servers, waiters, hostess, bus boys, managers) here were very friendly to us! They went out of their way to check up on us a lot, as well as helping us cook if needed. Our waters were always filled before they got anywhere near empty from Martin. Even though Kevin was our original server, & we did really like him, Martin was around a lot more helping us refill anything we needed. I felt like Martin went above and beyond to make our first time at ATB memorable, & definitely worth coming back to! So customer service here was definitely top notch. You were worth every bit of that $10 tip from our $40 meal, Martin and Kevin. Price is a bit steeper from the usual $10 joints, but the meats here are very and more variety... and I actually enjoyed it here better than Gen! Will definitely be back!

So for kbbq it's pretty normal for people in the 626 to make a trek out to koreatown for two simple reasons: if you think it's too expensive they have $10 ayce kbbq (like Castle II) ; if you are willing to put down more money $20-$25 then they have better ayce kbbq options then the 626 has (like Road to Seoul). Now in the past 2-3 years a few kbbq places actually have opened in the area, notably Gen on main street in Alhambra and oo-kook on San Gabriel Blvd in Temple City. Since its opening Gen has been and still is a very solid option for kbbq. They have a ton of options that are all of good quality, the place is clean, the speed is decent, and the service is adequate. Oo-kook on the other hand, I've never been to due to the fact that they are too expensive for my comfort. Anyways, after going to All That Barbecue (ATB) two times, I can confidently say that it is going to pose a huge challenge to Gen for several reasons. ATB is like a fusion between traditional buffet and kbbq. There's a part of it where you can get up, grab a plate, and collect items in a buffet line. These items include salads (typically these are given out in huge bowls in other ayce kbbq places), a bunch of korean sides (also typically handed out on the table), soups, a variety of meats deep fried, fried rice, glass noodles, even some fish, fruits, and of course those mochi like things that I can't remember the name of. The effect of this is not just greater variety of food not traditionally provided at kbbqs (like fried rice/glass noodles, soup, or fruit), but it frees up the servers so that they can get you your meat and take away your plates in a speedily manner. Now what about the meat? If you love beef and don't care about the pork or chicken, I highly recommend you just stick to "The Best Cow in School" and just order 50 of these. These are marinated thick slabs of meat that taste amazing, stay absolutely tender and succulent, and come out super crazy fast because unlike the other meats which require slicing, these are pre-marinated and are just sitting for you to order. But besides the speed, in all seriousness let me reiterate that these taste freaking amazing. That being said, the traditional kbbq meats like bulgogi and karubi are probably about average. They're satisfactory but nothing I'd put up against Gen or "Road to Seoul" in ktown. Chicken dishes were pretty good, especially the Angry Bird. If I were to go again to ATB I'd just stick to the beef and chicken dishes because the pork and shrimp just take ages to cook. Don't got time for that, my stomach cannot tolerate wait times at buffets. Besides the meats and shrimp and octopus, they do have steamed egg (which come in small individual size portions so order one per person or per two individuals!), tofu soup, and even those mochi things you can grill on your own and stick into honey (which kind of sucked actually). Overall, a very viable ayce kbbq establishment in the 626 with above average food, decent service, fairly clean looking buffet line and tables, ample free parking in the Santa Anita Mall (ATB is in the promenade of Santa Anita Mall), and tolerable wait times (It is unlikely that you will wait past 30 minutes unless your group is like 12+ people or something). Prices for dinner on weekdays and weekends are $20 +tax/tip so about $25/person (there are some pictures here showing a dinner price of $23, these pictures are outdated as of 1/15/2014). There is also a premium option for a few extra bucks but I didn't try it out so can't comment too much on that. Price at Gen is also $20+tax/tip and I believe Oo-Kook is like $26+tax/tip. Anyways if you've read this far I'm assuming you're very determined to stuff your stomach full of delicious meat, and in that endeavor in the 626 I highly recommend All That Barbecue.

I went here for lunch with my friends. We heard about the 20% until Aug 31st so I wanted to give it a try. The decor is very nice. The service was ok. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Just the other staff, when we ask to change our grill they would always forget to turn the fire back on. The rice paper was all stuck together. It was pretty hard to separate. :[ The unlimited salad bar and side dishes was average at best. We got kimichi, potato salad, seaweed and bean sprouts. We barely touched any of it. Not really that great. The meat selection during lunch is limited too. We got brisket, beef tongue, pork belly, bulgogi, shrimp and more orders of brisket and beef tongue. The shrimp was disappointing. It was just shrimp without any sea salt. I felt the portion were a bit smaller than other AYCE. So we would just keep ordering more of the same item. Overall, it was ok. Not bad but I wasn't very impressed. Just a regular AYCE KBBQ, nothing really special. TIP: the price for weekend lunch and dinner are the same $21.99. I would suggest going during dinner, there is a little bit more meat choices.

Update: I had a relatively worse experience at All That BBQ during my second time here. I reduced the rating by 1 star because the service was not as good as my first time. The first time I came here, the restaurant was fairly empty, so it was easy to provide attentive service. When I returned here a second time, a few things were sub-par and the service was overall inattentive. First, we never actually got our utensils until 10-15 minutes after we sat down. Second, our server also forgot our sauces. Third, we were seated in the front corner, so it took a great deal of effort to catch the attention of our server, who forgot to basically set our table. Fourth, there seems to be a lot of miscommunication between the servers because we would order meat and not receive it, or order meat and receive double order. Finally, it took over 20 minutes to pay our bill after we had finished our meal. Many of these things really come down to being more attentive to each and every table. Old Review: I live 2 miles away from k-town, so I know a good KBBQ place when I try one. Becaues All that BBQ was in the mall, I went in skeptical because everything at the mall is overpriced. To my surprise, a lunch deal at $15 here was a great deal. Rarely will a lunch special have beef tongue and short ribs in addition to the usual brisket, pork belly, and bulgogi, but you can find that here. All that BBQ also has a salad/ban chan bar so you will not have to wait for refills. My only complaint here is the way they serve the pork belly. The pork belly came long and thick, so it was very hard to cook. If you like your pork belly charred and crisp, that is practically impossible unless you spend the time to really cut it into thin slices. Overall, I would return for more! The service was great.

Love this kbbq place! There aren't too many around this area. The service is really good here and they have this salad/appetizer bar which is really cool so you don't have to keep asking your server for more salad or sides. Prices are good too. The staff is attentive and always checking up on us. Usually at other kbbq places, the servers are too busy running around and you sometimes have to ask them for something two or three times before they actually give it to you. My go to spot!

The 1 stars is for the servers and the hostess.. My husband and I came here on a Saturday afternoon.. Figured this is a new place and we decided to give a try!! Environment wise as okay.. However the seats and the floor was extremely oily!! For females, if you wear high heels, must be careful! You are more than likely will fall if you do the careful!! My husband had to ask the server to wipe down our seats in order for us to sit down to eat.. It was wayyyyy too oily! Their meat quality was okay, very stingy! They only gives you half order each time and the meat was very thin.. So you had to order a lot in order for you to get full.. However the server and the hostess will give you an attitude when you do that.. Especially the ASIAN girl with a BOB hair style.. Extremely RUDE!! She tried to find excuses for us to pay more.. We only had 2 pieces of meat left on the plate and she tried to let us pay another $11.99 for left over.. Really???? 2Pieces of meat!!!!! So we had no choice to finish it all... Ripe off !!! If you want to open an all you can eat business.. Adjust your attitude right!! Or fix your meat portions!! You can't charge extras to your customers when you have an ALL YOU CAN EAT Korean BBQ!!! Ridiculous.. And save your attitude!!!!!

Came here on a date night with my husband && i was impressed! They have a salad bar where you will find kimchi, spicy cucumbers etc Much easier then having to wait for your server to bring you items when your plate is empty! We did the premium dinner for 27.99! Our meat was fresh and I'm grateful our waiter was nice enough to cook some of the meat that we weren't familiar with. Have the prawns! So juicy and plump! Husband order a bottle of OB Golden Lager (they didn't have HITE) surprisingly it was nice && crisp! Found our Korean Spot! :) Thanks for the great hospitality!

Great food, excellent service on a weeknight, my only pet peeve being they never brought back newly washed spoons back out. So I had to drink soup without a spoon. If they had spoons I would give 5/5 stars.

I really love this place, but pricing recently changed and I rather go to Oo-kook KBBQ (rather than paying for premium, so I come here for the . My favorite items are: Bulgogi (tastes like Chinese sausage - lap xuong), Beef tounge (thinly sliced), and marinated short ribs (sadly now on premium menu). Premium menu is $26.99 and regular menu is $21.99, I believe. The peach soju is definitely worth (enough to share for two at max).

We had a party of 8 and I called to ask about the waiting time before we went there. They told me there was no wait. I said I would come right now. When I got there, they told me there's a 30 minutes wait. And then after 45 mins, they came out and said the guests are leaving in 15 mins; so we had to wait for 15 more minutes. And then after approx 20-30mins, they come out again and said 2 more minutes because they have to clean up the tables. But after 5 mins, we were stilling waiting. We got here at 7:45 and we didn't get the table until 9:10.... I mean they told us there was no wait how would it ended up with almost 1.5 hours wait... The waiters are really nice and you can tell they are tired too so once in a while they will misunderstand your order which is understandable... Their food is good... Especially the number 9 beef rib.. However, at the salad bar, they stated they change to new food in maximum 2 hours; we entered at 9:10 but the cards next to the food at the salad bar said "prepared at 5:30".. I don't know if they didn't change the time on the card or they didn't change the food... The kimchi,, the cucumber,, the lettuce and the veggie pancakes were all went out after about 1 hour and they didn't replace the empty trays.. I would recommend you to go there for the good food but if you have a big party please be prepared for the unexpected long wait..

We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my husband's new job promotion and my sister-in-law's birthday. We were very pleased with this place. They had a great assortment of meats and marinades, service was incredible (several waiters stopped by frequently to make sure we had enough meat, drinks, napkins, etc and they changed out our grills often), salad bar options were great (included pumpkin porridge, white & fried rice, veggie egg rolls, popcorn chicken, veggie pancakes, kimchi, spinach salad, fish cakes, and much more), and prices were reasonable ($21.99 on weekends, otherwise about $16 for lunch, and $20 for dinner). Very clean and well-maintained place. The hostess seating us was a little awkward and seemed quite confused, but other than that, the entire dining experience was wonderful. P.S. It is located near Macy's in the outdoor promenade P.S.S. Free soft drink when you check in on yelp

Went here on Sunday with 9 people and my goodness I had no idea what to expect! My first time eating Korean BBQ so it was definitely an experience. Our party did the premium buffet option, and we were there for over two hours but because it wasn't busy they didn't mind. We ordered 77 orders of meat.. I don't know where we put it all. Our favorites were the sexy skirt and bulgogi. The salad bar and other buffet options were good, but the meat was obviously the selling point. Our waiter, Jungy , was very attentive to our table; he even gave suggestions about cooking our meat and also what meat choices were the best. I honestly felt like we kept him on his toes with our endless orders of meat, but he kept up with us with a smile on his face. I was a little disappointed with our seating, the table was wedged between two pillars, and it was a really tight spot. There was a larger table available and it would have seated us all comfortably, but alas we were stuck at our smaller table. I definitely recommend this restaurant, but if you don't know what you're doing be sure to ask your waitstaff. They're more than willing to help you and make sure your experience is great. My only complaint beyond the small table is the loud music; made it very difficult to hold conversation without Kpop blowing off our eardrums.

Not bad as far as cook it yourself bbq place. The shrimp is great as well as the beef brisket. Sauces are pretty good also. And the side bars are chock full of items you would usually have to order separately at a restaurant. Have to bring the fam here. Clean, not greasy and not korean smelling. Pretty good.

The food was pretty good for being in Arcadia. The salad/Korean side bar needs to be worked on but the salad and kimchi was good The meats were all good. They portioned it really well. For 2 people we were able to try 6 plates of meat, 2 steamed eggs and a full plate of sides For lunch and dinner there are two prices. The classic and premium.

The hostesses on the weekends are really nice and cute (aka friday). The bussers are super helpful!! I would come here every once in a while so i don't get tired of it! The meats were half decent. The service was adequate while not real attentive. The price is a little high for what you get. OO-Kook probably has better quality meats. The part that I didn't like was that the place is a total grease pit; not very clean. In addition, the dishwasher in the kitchen kept tossing those plastic plates; it was so loud and annoying that it started to give me a headache.

Came here in December with a party of 10 and to my surprise, we got seated promptly. Our family usually goes to Ktown for KBBQ but decided to try this instead. I think this is a good option for KBBQ in 626 area if you are too lazy to head to ktown. I think the meat is better quality than Gen BBQ and similar to Oo Kook. The brisket is pretty good quality although I had better ones in ktown. As for the rest of the meats, they were all good, beef belly is yummy, you gotta try the rib meat - some people thought it was too fatty but it was juicy. The flap steak is tender and succulent. Pork belly is great too since I like the cut to be thick. With the thicker cut pork belly, you gotta cook it slowly till it's turning brown and starting to crisp. That's when it will melt in your mouth. There's also a self service banchan, side dish and dessert bar. The selection is pretty good and clean. Overall I enjoyed this place and will come back.

This is one of those places where I was ready to slam them hard but ended up giving them 4 stars anyway because the food was so good. The short version is, the meat is pretty dang good. Beef tail flap, which the menu billed as a steak that is "grill seared" which means they sear it on their grill in the kitchen first then they bring it out to your table to finish off, had no sign of it being seared. And it was sliced pretty thin. I was disappointed because I was hoping for a thicker piece of meat ("steak"). And just when I was going to fault them for it, dang it if it wasn't delicious. The rest of the meat were fresh and nicely marinated. Stay away from that Korean burger thing though. That's basically ground beef with rice cakes mixed in. But I will point out a couple of things here for management. One: STOP touching my heat! Service is pretty attentive. In fact 4 different waiters came by within a 3 minute period to ask if we needed refills or to order more meat. With meat still on the grill and more raw meat still on the plates waiting to be cooked, each of the 4 waiters turned down the heat while they asked how we were doing. It's almost like an automatic thing for them. By the time the 4th one was done, the heat was down to nothing. (yes I turned it back up myself.) Can't get a good sear on low heat, guys. Might be a tactic to make the meat cook slower so you fill up on other things? Two: the ambience needs help. Those bright white LED bulbs make the whole place so bright it feels like a cafeteria. Turn down the lights a little and it will make the place feel so much better. Three: the way the oranges are sliced is just sad. The way they're sliced are really meant for garnishes. Four: let's let us pour our own sauces by providing bottles at the table like most places. It's less work for the wait staff and we don't have to keep asking you for more. And five, and this is the big one. I'm not even done chewing my food and the bill arrives? Come on. It wasn't busy, there were empty tables, no wait, and nowhere close to closing time. These are really nitpicky things, I know. But slight improvements can make this into 5 stats in my eyes very easily.

The meat was better quality than some other places, but banchan was not good. The galbi is serve in kind of weird rolls, which mostly had the bone section rather than the rib meat. Their marinade sauce was just okay. It's in a self serve area and tastes old. I went during the 1st month opening when they had the 20% off deal. My friends seem to like it a lot tho.

All that BBQ is not all that!!! Meat was poor quality even we ordered the premium selection. The place was dirty and we had to flag down the servers whenever we needed to order. Even though we dined at 4pm and the restaurant was half-emptied there was no service at all. Stacks of dirty plates on the carts or on the tables around us totally ruined our appetite! Why did they have to place the dirty dish carts next to the salad bar? Why did the tables not cleaned for at least 30 mins. after customers left? i give a one star because i can't leave the rating blank. Yes, it's that bad. Save yourself some money and calories, go to Ook Kook BBQ on Rosemead Blvd. You will not be disappointed.

Pretty good spot for AYCE BBQ. It's in the Promenade area, and not hard to find. $14.99 for lunch and $19.99 for dinner. I came here during the grand opening special so I got 20% off, which was nice. There's a wide variety of meats to choose from and they're all really delicious. Usually at Kbbq restaurants they bring all the appetizers to your table but this place has a get-it-yourself salad bar. I don't mind it, but when there's a million people walking around, whether they be diners or workers, it's hard to get to. The service could use improvement. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt though, since they just opened. The communication between waiters is bad and it's pretty slow. There's this one waitress who is really sweet though, I don't know her name :( It sounds like a rave in here all the time. I like that kind of music but not when I'm eating dinner, haha. It's pretty loud and takes away from the dining experience. Overall, I enjoyed this place. I would come back here.

All That Barbecue is as good as it gets (in Arcadia)! Fill me up with #1, #2, #3, and #4. I would tell you what they are but my memory is not that great (it is somewhere along the lines of brisket, ribs, pork belly). The flavor was enough for me to become a regular. I can appreciate the setup with get-your-own starter dishes, rice, rice paper, Chinese food?, etc. No need to wait around for the waiters to finally get you your eggs. I can also appreciate the good service which never hurts. The price is respectable while the selection is okay. If you're like me, who abhors waiting for food, All That Barbecue would definitely satisfy.

Good: - don't rib me off - karubi in tokyo - porky paradise - tried & true - skinny dipping cow - hotty piggy - surfin shrimp Bad: - popcorn chicken: overcooked and dry - intestines - very chewy - dessert: very limited selection - cuckoo in Asia: bland - baked egg: odd taste, weird texture Service was excellent. Workers are very quick to come check on your needs.

The food is typical AYCE quality; the service is good for a Mall-food establishment. However, I've grown accustomed and spoiled with Korean servers' helping with the cooking and meat cutting; where the servers here are pretty hands-off. If the food prices always reflected the 20% discount, which was applied to the bill due to the grand opening, this would make the experience here more palatable, but given the regular dinner price of $19.99 during the weekdays and $21.99 on the weekends, I would prefer to travel to K-Town. The Lunch price is $14.99 which is only available on the weekdays from 11:30 - 3:00pm. This is the first K-BBQ place where I've experienced the concept of "grill-sear." This process has the kitchen sear chunks of meat on a grill prior to bring it out to the table - to then be cooked more thoroughly. They claim this "locks" in the flavoring. I would call it a gimmick. All that Barbecue tries to be trendy by naming all their meat cuts with quirky little sayings. It took someone some time to come up with these names, but it all just goes to waste as everyone just defaults to calling them #1 through #20 as no one wants to say these names out loud. Trendy also means playing EDM throughout the restaurant. This was something new and different 5 years ago with MooDaePo II, but all this does now is subconsciously make you eat faster. All that Barbecue's AYCE has gone the way of the mobile phone service providers. It's only AYCE for a 2 hour limit, and a 18% gratuity is added for parties of 8 or more. Here's the breakdown of the primary meats/dishes: - Skinny-Dipping Cow (Brisket) - Like all AYCE places, this is the meat staple that you can't go wrong with. Just have them keep bringing this one out every 15 minutes. - The Best Cow In School (Flap Tail Steak) - This is nicely sliced and pretty marbled, and probably one of the more popular dishes here. Even with the "grill-sear" it was not too flavorful. - Don't Rib Me Off (Marinated Beef Rib Meat) - This is also grill-seared, which made the meat a bit chewier in my opinion. But if you want flavor, this would be the best choice for most. - Speak Your Beefy Mind (Beef Tongue) - semi-thick slices, which had a good beefy flavor. - Rice Hot Dog - While this is no hot dog, it is basically a hamburger patty with slices of chewy rice cake mixed throughout. Seems to be a very unique dish that all that Barbecue has concocted up. - Tried & True (Bulgogi) - Another staple of AYCE. Seasoned well enough to get it down. - Soo Wee (Marinated Pork Rib Meat) - served with the rib bones, cook it well and it's another dish that is likely to be re-ordered. - Surfin Shrimp - The AYCE grillin' shrimp in the shell. Nuff said. - Eight Fiery Arms (Spicy Baby Octopi) - served in a foil bowl to allow the octopi to be cooked in a sweet and spicy marinade. - Green Land (Assorted Veggies) - Onions, Zucchini, Mushrooms, Eggplant, and Potatoes. Be sure to ask the waiter to dowse them with sesame oil for better grilling. This place would definitely be 2 stars if it wasn't attached to a mall, but given the stereotypical mall food genre, it's OK - so probably being too generous and bumping it up to 3 stars. Or, maybe it's just my sore feet thanking me for given them a break from hours of walking around the Mall.

I really wanted to like All That Barbecue. When it comes to all-you-can-eat anything, Korean BBQ is hands-down my favorite. And honestly, All That Barbecue actually has some tasty meat and a good selection. Price is average. The biggest 2 problems for me were the serving sizes and the service, or lack thereof. The restaurant wasn't even full and we were waiting sometimes 5-10 minutes without anything cooking on the grill. And when the food did come, the quantities given were paltry, especially for the premium items, which you have to pay an extra $6 or 7 for, iirc. Some items only came with enough for each person to have only one piece. So we were waiting 5-10 minutes to get only just enough food for the four at our table to take a few bites before waiting again. We had to ask for the steamed egg we ordered 3 more times before they finally came, and many times had to ask for some orders twice (also by the way, steamed egg, don't bother with it there). Topping off our salt and sauces required several requests and eventually took about 20 minutes for them to finally bring over! Another thing that bugged me was some of the steak and pork belly options came as one massively thick cut slab instead of sliced up like usual - I had to dice them all up hastily with scissors in order to get them into small enough pieces to cook. Frustrating, inconvenient, but also fairly easy to deal with. As mentioned before, I absolutely love AYCE KBBQ and I've been to places so busy that they have an hour-long wait - but once you're sat down, can provide a never-ending supply of meat. Seriously, it's meat heaven. In fact, I think generally being able to bring out enough food so that you are steadily cooking most of the time is a bare-minimum requirement for me, and honestly, until now, not a hard requirement for most KBBQ places to meet. If they could manage to actually keep up service-wise, the small portions wouldn't even be that big of a problem. If they solved both problems, I would be a happy camper and came here on a regular basis. Sadly, the super slow, often forgetful service was 1-star, and unfortunately a complete deal-breaker, but if it weren't for that the food quality and selection was 4-5 stars.

Went on a weekend for lunch. The salad bar has a decent variety of items. But I'd prefer lettuce over spinach for the salad. The meat selection is pretty much complete. But the taste and quality could be better. The shrimps are pretty good size, which is good because I hate peeling small shrimps. Over all, it was a decent experience. Not the best and not the worst. They just don't have much stuff for young kids to eat. Is it worth the price? Maybe. But it will take some convincing for me to come back.

Ok so, I get it, people rave on & on about this place. So I decided to try it. I WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED! The meat was so fatty, I couldn't even chew through it. The Garlic chicken was awful. The spicy chicken was disgusting. And the 'salad bar' was subpar. The music was loud & obnoxious. And the waitress came by only once during our whole meal. I will never eat here or any other Korean BBQ ever again.

I first had All That Barbecue at their Irvine branch and was very surprised by their taste and quality of their meat. It is very tasty and worth the price. When i heard that they opened in Arcadia, i was one of the first in line to come. I was not disappointed. I definitely would recommend this kbbq!

I wasn't a fan of korean bbq UNTIL i went to all that barbecue. I've been waiting for this place to open for a while since I do work at the mall. Olivia was my waitress she was amazing she recommended a lot of different meats my favorite are Skinny Dipping Cow ( brisket point), The best cow in school ( flap tail steak), Don't rib me off (seasoned rib meat), Tried & true ( bulgogi) and I really liked Start your engine which is a tofu soup if you like spicy I would recommend the soup. It is an ALL you can EAT for 2hrs. They do have 20% off right now till August 31st. The menu is really simple oh and I almost forgot they also have a salad bar. I like the oriental dressing. You can tell they work as a team there when our waitress was helping another table we always had someone else asking us if everything was okay and if they can get us more meat. I honestly loved it, I can't wait to go back soon. GREAT SERVICE, GREAT FOOD & ALL YOU CAN EAT. I am a happy costumer..

It's sad that about 10~15 years ago, when most korean bar b q places were patron by mostly or almost all by korean ppl, korean bar b q restaurants were usually decent to good. They put a lot of effort into using good quality meat\, preparing the ban-chan somewhat decent to good (not as good as you would prepare at home) but still very edible; and having other stuff to accompany your bbq. Because korean ppl, obviously know what's good, what's decent and what's bad, and will totally desert a place if it's bad. Now that korean things are almost becoming mainstream, Hyundai cars, Samsung & LG product line to kpop, kdrama and even to korean food,. so many new establishments are popping up, which should be a good sign for me, since im korean. But many times, I would go, and then walk out in total disappointment. well, unfortunately, ALL that Barbecue was no different. ***For those who are interested in knowing a bit of labor intensiveness of the korean food vs non korean asian food please read, but if you dont care, just skip this paragraph.**** Korean food is probably the only food that requires so much preparation, why? Korean food uses a lot of ingredients, foremost , but also a lot of work(you'll probably say, no other food does too, no they dont. I've been in actual kitchens of japanese restaurant, chinese restaurant, vietnamese restaurant and of course know how a korean family kitchen is run. I saw the amount of work that goes into the preparation of the foods) also, korean food is probably the only food that has ban chans. (first of all, Ban Chans are not appetizers), it's not like ordering calimari and eating it all before the main dish coming out. ( I see so many foreigners doing this, and those reading this may say, who gives a shit, but you know that old saying, when in rome, do as the romans do. Besides there's no harm in learning etiquette or having that knowledge, right? ), there's no law against eating some ban chan just to get your tummy started or to see how well the ban chan is prepared. But ban chan, are actually part of the meal. It's almost like a side dish to accentuate your meal, not to replace it, or a pre meal. Typically in korean society, korean restaurants.. the ban chans usually are a representation of the price and quality along with prestige of that meal and or the restaurant. Ban Chan can range from a few to over 50 in one dinner table; I kid you not. But like i said, they are part of the meal, and it's to accentuate your main food, not to be the main food. This is why ban chan's are given in such small portions. Each ban chan can be labor intensive as the actual main meal itself. So for korean people, what kind of ban chans to how well it's prepared can sometime be just as important or more important than the actual meal itself. It also is a representation of the quality of food, work and preparation that restaurant puts into their meal. With that said... I know most ppl that aren't either well knowledged or are not accustom to korean food, really just care about meat, meat and meat, and dont know how much work goes into preparing korean food, vs other foods. and in all fairness, most people dont know what good Ban-Chan is, to what is just terribly prepared ban chans. And the quality of the meat we got, my entire family and I were in awe when we saw what they brought out to us as Rib meat. Honestly, I wouldn't even feed my worst friend with that horrific quality of meat. Just from a glance, when they brought out this 65~75 percent FAT, not meat, we honestly thought it was the left over fat/crap meat that they use to run over the grill to prepare the grill for the actual cooking. Some korean BBQ places will do that. they bring out the fatty part and use it to run over the grill. But much to our surprise, it was the meat that they brought out for us to actually eat. I know at the end of the day, all that really matters to the owners, are what's in their pocket book. But, as a business owner, you should have some responsibility to run an honest establishment, or try to run as honestly as possible. To sum up our experience (myself and my family) If I was driving across the country, finding myself in wyoming and had a dying urge for korean bbq, and ate at this place. I would've came out saying, wow what can you expect from a korean bbq place in wyoming, this is not LA.. and went on my way. But to experience this in southern cali, all i can say is.. WOW, never again.

This place is awesome! Customer service is always on point. Credit must be given to their manager Ron. We always order the dont rib me off and skinny dipping cow. Needless to say, the meat is definitely the best quality. But don't take my word for it, go try it yourself.

The food was average if I want to compare it with other choices available in the area, I wouldn't choose This place next time. The service was not that good, even though the waitresses where really nice, polite, and friendly the service was lacking the professional experience. we had to wait so long for each request!! Overall the experience was okay and I think that the 3 star is a fair evaluation.

The family and I were looking for some KBBQ places and this one popped up. Since it was new, I didn't really care much about the reviews, especially the bad ones it got. But after coming here, it's safe to say I should've stayed away and I'm probably not coming back ever again. Let's start from the beginning. If you're going on a crowded day, what you do is tell them your name and and your party number. Sounds normal right? Not really. Since there wasn't much space on inside to wait, majority of the people stand outside the promenade. When it's your turn to go in, they literally come out, stand in front of the door, and scream your name and your party number out. You can see shoppers walk by and just stare. It's pretty funny and ridiculous. Walking in, I also felt the seating arrangement of this place was extremely tight and I felt packed. The meat wasn't anything worth waiting for. You can get it at any other Kbbq place. And The salad you have to toss yourself. The service is slow and inattentive. I feel like you tell them something, they say ok, walk away, and forget until I remind them the second time. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are much better kbbq places out there.

They said they close at 11 when I asked at 9 and never mentioned last call is at 10. I went in with my friends at 9 and salad bar already all empty and everything looks like lefted overs which was lil bits and pieces stuck to the bottom of the tray. They told us it was last call at 10 suddenly and we were shocked cause our first batch of food was just finishing and we only order a little bit so far thinking we had time. So we of course try to order more food but they seemed very annoyed of us and gave us looks and attitudes, I looked at the clock then and it was only 9:40. I will not come back here again and I don't think anyone should, meat is average, salad bar depressing and kinda feel like we got ripped off.

If you have been to Korean BBQ places, this one is the best in terms of offerings, service, quality and cleanliness. For around $20 you get a feast of meat, meat, and more meat. Which really is a great value if you are hungry. I have been here 2 times and have always had well marbled meaty beef. The meats are higher quality product and the prepared items are very tasty. Try the ribs (with no bones) which are perfectly sweet and succulent. The pork belly is cut with a special tenderizer tool that allows it to cook quickly and helps to separate the meat when cutting while allowing the marinade to soak in better. Refills on Shirley Temples are free and the service is EXCELLENT! These people constantly change your grill and are very thoughtful and upbeat. If you are feeling adventurous, try the beef tongue. The atmosphere is modern and the place is super clean.

Came here on a Friday night and did the all you can eat for 20 with 20% off. The place was really busy and the workers seemed over worked. The meats were okay. They do give smaller portions for the meat which was good since we were only a party of two. One thing that caused my unpleasant experience was the the temperature of the grill. Our meats were taking forever to cook because the level of the grill was only at medium. We were there for almost ah hour already and we hadn't even had a piece of meat to eat yet.... I flagged down the waitress and asked her where the knob was since the meat was cooking a really slow. She cranked it up a a teeny tiny bit, but told me were not not allowed to have it higher than level two (there were three temperature levels) Perhaps they are trying to lengthen the cooking time so that your two hour limit is up before you can eat anything............................ boohoo

I came here during their soft opening with my cousin. We were greeted immediately upon entrance. The host was very nice and sat us right away. It wasn't too busy for a Tuesday night. They have a salad/banchan bar. I was a little disappointed when I didn't see potato salad or fish cake. I usually love making little wraps with salad and rice paper, but their salad wasn't good. Maybe I didn't make it correctly...idk. There is a big selection of meats...my favorite was their beef brisket and beef tongue. Unlike other places, their brisket was not fatty and the beef tongue didn't have a weird texture. The qualities of their meats were very good. You can order them in full or half sizes. They do charge extra if you have excessive meat left behind. There is a 2 hr limit to dine. All of the servers were attentive and nice. If they keep up with their service and qualities of meats I would continue to come back, but if I'm craving for good banchan/salad I will go elsewhere.

I called in asking for today's lunch price and the lady who answered the phone quoted me $14.99. Knowing it was Labor Day I asked her if she was sure since most places charge extra for the holidays. She said yes it was so I came running to all that BBQ! I came in and enjoyed my meal only to find out that I was charged their weekend price of $21.99! That is pretty expensive considering there are better kbbq places in the area. I told the waiter how I called in earlier to confirm the price. He basically apologized saying it was their mistake because they also thought it was lunch price because they've never worked during a holiday. Today is their first holiday since opening. To address my concern, he went to talk to his manager. In the end we were given 20% off the check but not the quoted amount that I was originally told over the phone. The food here is ok but they should have honored the lunch price to me since there were no signs at all nor was I told about today being weekend price. I came here 3 times since their opening but now will be taking a long break until my next visit.

as far as the food, i give it 4 stars. good selection and the quality is pretty good. salad bar also pretty good. service is typical for an asian restaurant. the 1-star rating is for what i witnessed. this was my first time at the restaurant and i was really excited about this place. i was excited when i saw the sign that it was opening many months ago. we planned a group outing to finally go and wanted to make sure we get the 20% off discount for the grand opening special. i starved myself all day to prepare. we enjoyed our food and after we paid, i used the restroom. there was a guy who worked at the restaurant in there and i was happy to see that he washed his hands. i walked to one of the 2 urinals they had and went about my business. to my surprise, the worker used the urinal right next to me. i finished my business and washed my hands. while i was grabbing some paper towel to dry my hands, the worker finished his business and walked directly right out of the restroom. i followed him and saw the he went to the kitchen area next to the soda fountain. i went back to our table, signed the check and told my friends we were never coming back. as we were walking out, i saw the same employee cutting what looked like vegetables and pointed him out to my friends. i would never wish for anyone to lose their job but that's the only way they can stop this guy from doing this. the fact that he blatantly did what he did in front of a customer shows that he does not care and telling him to stop doing it will not be enough. if anyone from the restaurant reads this, i can try to describe this person to you. again, i would not wish for anyone to lose their job but i think it's almost necessary in this case.

Sometimes I overlook bad service if the food is good enough, but the food here is just average. We made a reservation for 7:30 and arrived at 7:30. There was a short hostess and tall hostess at the front desk. We checked in with the short hostess and she whips out her paper with the reservations written down, locates our name, looks around, and tells us "Sorry, we don't have a table ready for you, but we will put you at the beginning of the waiting list." Oooookay. She points out 2 tables that are almost done eating, so we're like okay that's fine. 15 minutes go by and both tables are cleared. We see 2 groups being led to those tables, like they completely forgot about us. We reminded the short hostess we were supposed to be seated first and she actually said "Sorry, I have no idea what's going on, you need to talk to her" pointing at the tall hostess. UMM what? Why don't you talk to her for us and figure it out? So we talk to the tall hostess, who then talks to a man who looks like a manager, and they literally say there's nothing they can do, we just have to wait. 15 more minutes go by, one person from our party wanders to the back to check out the buffet area and she sees an empty table! We inform them there's an empty table and they whispered to each other for a bit and then decide to give us the table. They probably wanted to save it for a bigger party since it fits 8 and we only have 5. Some kind of discount would have been nice, to make up for this fiasco, but they didn't seem to care. To add insult to injury, they ran out of the dipping oil that day. What kind of kbbq place runs out of oil?! The only redeeming quality was this extremely nice and hardworking busboy that made sure we had everything we needed. But despite that, we won't be back.

Came in last Wednesday (9/10) before 3pm and chose the $14.99 special. My girlfriend and I opted for the brisket and Bulgogi. I've had a lot of brisket from various KBBQ restaurants, and I would rate theirs 3.5/5. It's not as fresh or flavorful as nearby Oo-kook, but it's definitely worth the $14.99 AYCE option. The Bulgogi was sweet and fresh as well. The service was excellent, servers were attentive. It was very slow, but at least the servers constantly checked on us instead of mingling with one another. Restaurant was very clean, too. I think they opened recently? The salad bar was great too, but some items such as the sweet potato or fried chicken did not fresh. Will probably be back soon!

Very late review but I just have to write it. Came here on a weekend during the holiday season for a birthday celebration. We wanted to try something new so ... Our favorite was the skinny cow. There is a grill in the middle of the table and you have to cook the meat yourself. Kinda pricey $19.99 for dinner including the kids. Shoutout to all the servers who kept on refilling the meat and drinks. We really enjoyed our meal here even my youngest son who tends to be picky was grilling his own food. Will definitely be going back.

One of my favorite KBBQ joints! This place is really all that and much more. I went for dinner on a Friday night, so the price for each person was $19.99. The meat selection was amazing - I would definitely recommend the The Best Cow in School and I Speak Your Beefy Mind. I love the salad and side dish bar - I could come back whenever I wanted throughout my meal! The service was one of the best I've had at a Korean barbecue restaurant. The servers were attentive and helpful. We didn't even have to call for help anytime during our meal - they knew what we wanted and delivered in a quick and friendly manner. Hands down, would return again when I'm back in town. It is a great place to eat with friends and family!

Great Place!!! Great Food!!! Great Prices!!! Abdul the waiter is amazing! He checks up on us every 5 minutes. Asks if everything is okay and if we need anything! Outstanding service!!! Definitely will be a regular here!!!

This place is a nice concept - essentially the strategy is to offer Korean BBQ to non-Koreans. Menu is in plain English and provides a brief description of each item. Definitely a solid value at lunch (only $15 for the "base" all-you-can-eat", which had a lot of options). They had a nice banchan (side-dish) bar that was well stocked and the food was fairly fresh. Meat quality wasn't the best (very fatty), but for $15, what do you expect. Overall, they have done a good execution on the concept.

Getting good ayce kbbq in the 626 is pretty hard, and also expensive. Most of the cheap and/or good places are in ktown, and a lot of the time no one wants to drive that far. So I was excited to hear that they opened an All That Barbeque right in Arcadia. I had heard good things from the store in Irvine so I was eager to try it. We went on a Saturday at around 1 and were surprised there wasn't a wait, seeing how the mall is usually packed on weekends. All in all, it's a quality kbbq joint. They have a good selection of meats and their buffet bar is not bad, although nothing in there is really worth noting. I really liked their #2 flap tail steak. We also trolled and got the "rice hot dog", but it ended up being pretty good. Their service gets a paragraph all on its own. It was amazing. Servers were friendly always around when we needed them and checking up on us. Good service can be hard to find sometimes in kbbq places, where it can be impossible to flag someone down. One thing I want to point out is that their ventilation system is genius. There's no overhead vent, so it's right above the grill itself, which means that it sucks in the smoke before it can even rise up. Why does no one else do this? I definitely recommend this place, especially during their grand opening promotion with 20% off. Their prices are relatively reasonable regardless though. Also, the hostesses are cute. ;)

The high ratings and side choices on yelp got us trying this place. Pros: Great customer service Good air ventilation (left restaurant without smelling like KBBQ) Good meat flavor/marinating Cons: No Kim Chi Fried Rice No Spicy Rice Cake Popcorn Chicken was hard and not so good Steam Eggs wasn't in the stone pot. Did not taste good. Pork Belly was too thick. We had to use the scissors to cut it in half since it wasn't sliced thinly like it should.

korean bbq all you can eat. During lunch they got the classic for $14.99 and premium for $22.99. we ordered simply clean which is black angus steak from the premium menu and that was great. very tender. umami explosion is beef short tib unmarinated which was not good at all. then we got the rib for pleasure which is marinated short rib and that was ok as well as the sexy skirt (wagyu skirt steak) which was soso. next time if I were to come I would get number one (ribeye steak), beef tongue, and dont rib me off. thats all folks is marinated and was not very good. sevice was excellent as always everytime ive came here without fail.

I would give this place a C-. Maybe I came on a bad day? Maybe they are working the kinks out? I don't know, but it was not a good experience. The seating: There was 10 of us. 5 adults and 5 kids. When we got there at 5:30 pm they only had 4 tables taken. There were at least 2 large tables available. Instead they wanted to split us up to 2 tables with a giant column between us. They suggested the kids sit on their own. What? We can not leave the kids at there own table. We didnt want to be responsible for what could happen. We asked to sit against the wall. They said the table was reserved. It was only 5:30, we would be finished before they came. NOPE. They said "it's ok, we can squeeze in 2 chairs on each side and you will all fit. So we did that. It was tight! Food: Eh. Where is the romaine salad? There was a big white bowl on the table for salad. They said to check the salad bar. It wasn't there. They only had iceberg lettuce. That is NOT korean. The cuts of meat were fatty. Kimchi fried rice was ick. Sweet potato was greezy. You also felt rushed when you were eating because the music was so loud and bumpin'. I'm at dinner in a mall, not a club. Play some music with slower beats and turn it down. You have to yell to the person across from you to have a conversation. Things that were good: good location, funny names on the menu, lots of meat selections, we got 20% for the opening, they had the large pickled radish and rice noodle wrap. I may have to try it again once they have been open a while. But right now, I would not take my parents there or any other friends.

Came here to celebrate my coworker's birthday. So disappointed. We chose the basic one but we want Korean short ribs, how is so hard to understand that.. none of those short ribs came out. We order rib eye steak and it didn't show up on our table as well.. the service was bad but not horrible. My friend is vegetarian, all she order was tofu soup. When it came out, there were few seafood in there. Then we told the waiter again, no seafood please. he came out with a pot that has clam in it. We decided not to order any more food, they were so fast to,come over to our table and give us a bill. Sorry.. I wouldn't never come back. Bit pricier than Alhambra Gen Korea bbq. And the food is not at good as gen.

wont be going back to this place again. the quality of meat for the price they charge is not worth it.

Great korean ayce in the mall?!!! Who knew? We've been to their other place in Irvine and this location is just as fantastic...they just opened so I think they're still ironing out some kinks in the service, but all of the employees were very polite and happy to help us. Their salad bar and side dish bar could use a few more entries (like the Korean pancake!), but it was very tasty nonetheless. We will definitely go back because it's a great value and we looooooooooove to eat meat!

Tonight my buddies and I wanted to get some korean BBQ on so we looked up where we can go around 9pm. We came across this place on yelp so wanted to give it a shot since we never been here before. We went with the $19.99 classic ayce. They also have a $26.99 premium ayce. The choices available weren't bad but could be better. As far as taste goes, absolutely worth the money. The reason I gave only 3 stars was just the overall experience there. We arrived roughly at 9:30. Two of us showed up first and they rather seat us when all 5 arrive because there is a 2 hour time limit for ayce. So our full party show up at around 9:40ish. We sat down and just picked classic menu and ordered away. They only allow you two order 4 things at once. After a few rounds went by, they came to us at about 10:30ish and told us it was last call for food. Now we were kinda surprised because we were told that last call was at 11. And 30 more minutes to us is a lot more time to eat. When we asked why, we were told that since no more customers seem to be coming in, we decided to cut it short. So when is it our fault you don't have anymore customers? My time gets cut short because of that? We didn't wanna argue it so we were like whatever ok. And after that last order was placed, they hardly came to check up on us until the very end. And even said to us, sorry for not stopping by to check on you guys, we are all trying to clean and leave early. That's something you should not tell your customers even if it were true. Even on one of our orders that took a while, we told the waiter about it and he said he would go check. We see him run around the counter and then continue to clean so they can finish quickly. We flagged him down again and asked what happen? You never came back? He replies with oh yea it's coming sorry. Our experience gets cut short, our service gets cut short, all for what we felt are inexcusable reasons. You post your hours as this time, then serve until that time. You are scheduled to work until the end, then work until the end. Ruining the customers experience there doesn't help you at all. So to summarize this all, food was good, service was not bad when they actually came around, but overall dining experience was horrible with the reasons mentioned above.

My favorite KBBQ place! The meat quality and the buffet style banchan (side dishes) make this place my favorite in and out of KTown. While the names of the meats always confuse me, the servers are great about understanding the Korean name for the meat and stews. Also, I really love their fermented soybean stew and soon tofu, such great flavor I crave their stews on their own. Service is friendly and very attentive and the restaurant itself is very clean. It's such a gem of a place for those of use who love good Korean food but don't want to drive out of the SGV.

  • Marauder M.

This is a great all you can eat korean bbq place. We really liked the format, your meat order is brought to your table yet you can help yourself to the banchan, rice and prepared foods bar. There is not a big selection of banchans but what is there is very good. The meat quality is no better or worse than you can get at other places that charge the same prices. Also the steamed egg and tofu soups are unlimited. Their tofu soup is my personal favorite. The service is excellent, the restrooms are clean and lots of free parking in the shopping center garage. Our biggest gripe was that they did not put out the same side dishes and prepared foods as they do on the weekends. Then they ought to lower their price since they don't provide the same offerings as other days.

My girlfriend and I decided to give this place a shot since they had a 20% off for all of August for their grand opening. Located right in the middle of the promenade across from Red Robbins The good: lots of seating. My party of two was seated righty away on a Friday night and even larger parties didn't have to wait for more than 30- minutes (probably due to their strict 2-hour limit). Cuts of meat were fantastic. Very marbley and decent sized plates each time the meat was brought to us. A well stocked serve-yourself salad and sides bar freed up servers to concentrate on bringing us more meat. The bad: two people seating is all at one large table with multiple grills so privacy is a bit of an issue and it can be awkward watching the couple across staring at you. Slow, and I mean SLOW service. After we were served the first time it took forever for us to flag down our waitress and even longer (multiple tries) to get more servings of meat. Weirdly strict on leftovers and time limit. The waitress told us she'd do portion control and notify us every 30 minutes so we knew when our limit was up. I think I will give this place another shot once their staff has settled in because the meat selection is the best in the area. Definitely something the SGV has been needing for some time I just hope they pick up on their service speed but I'll definitely be back.

Service! Service! Service....and food ain't that bad for a place in a mall in Arcadia. The waiters are super nice and get very personable. I have had most of my k bbq in korea town or Oo Kook in Rosemead but most of the time, if you don't look or speak korean, they don't talk to you much. Not here. The food wasn't bad either from the skinny cow to the loins.

Located in the arcadia mall. We couldn't be seated until 1/2 of our party arrived, which is not unusual. The hostess was very clear and reminded us there would be an 11.99 charge for extra meat wasted at the end of the meal and a strict 2 hour limit. Though those rules are quite reasonable, it's tough to hear that as one of the first things when you're about to be seated. I suppose some would be upset if they were not warned before sitting down, just puts a bad taste in your mouth when you're salivating over KBBQ. We ordered from their classic menu, 19.99 all you can eat. Had plenty of goods. We tried them all and got seconds on the rib meat (#9), soy marinated pork (#15), and shrimp. The kids loved the garlic chicken. Was clean, service sometimes spotty meaning we wouldnt see a server in a while, then suddenly 2 would ask us if we needed anything. Kids 8 & younger are 1/2 price and free for under 4 yrs old. Kids loved the buffet style of the fresh pineapple, oranges, and grapes for after dinner. The rest of the buffet line is basically your standard korean side dishes you can get but they have a few preprepared salads, egg rolls, fried orange chicken, etc. I usually prefer to skip those "fillers" and get to the meat. I'll be back to try their AYCE lunch which is 15.99. Overall, clean, decent service, good meats.

The service was great. Went there for the first time and would definitely go back. Shout out to Martin and I think his name was Kevin. Fast service and always checked up on us. The vegetable spring-rolls were delicious. I hate orange chicken but the one I tried there was excellent. See y'all soon!

It was okay, it was pretty dead on a day we went. The side dishes were all okay, it's cool that they have an all you can eat side dishes section but it honestly wasn't that great. Service was okay. But the meat was good overall I guess. Nothing to special or too bad. Just alright with everything.

Just opened up at the Santa Anita mall. Its located inside the promenade. The new trend im seeing at kbbq places is salad and sides bar, which is nice so you can always resock what you need and get as much as I want (whole plate of kimchi lol). They have nicknames for the meats. My favorite is #3 Dont Rib Me Off, which is seasoned rib meat that comes rolled up in a ball. Its extremely tender and marinated well.

    (5)
  • Britnie R.

Meh. They are new and need to work on their recipes. The meat was flavorless. My husband and I have tried many AYCE KBBQ places and this didn't even compare. The price was also a little high for my taste. The best thing we are was from the salad bar: the egg rolls! How disappointing is that? The service was great, though, which got them the 3 stars. If you don't mind bland meat, this is a convenient place when you're at the mall or going to see a movie.

Currently here with my friends for dinner on Monday ! First time and I must say that I am definitely impressed! We got seated immediately and their dinner prices are much cheaper than most of the ayce kbbq places in the 626!! Good selections of meat but let me get to the point! What I wanna talk about is their service! We got Kevin as our server and he was great! He was the one to seat us and was there for us every step of the way! Amazing service, and that says a lot coming from a waitress as myself! I'm super impressed with him! He's fun and a super chill server! Request him everybody and leave him a hefty tip because he definitely deserves it!!!

Been to their irvine store, that was a 5 star. Great service, large portion of meat, never seem to rush you out. So we tried this one they just opened a few days ago in Arcadia. SAME QUALITY. Must try. Dinner @ 19.99, weekend $2 extra and 14.99 for lunch. Loving it, must try!!

We had been waiting for this place to open! It is spacious, clean and modern. The staff is friendly and attentive despite how busy they were. On to the food... good AYCE selection, meats were tender and flavorful; also includes a bar for salad, rice, glass noodles, egg rolls, kimchi,etc... Price point ($20 pp) is in keeping with the surrounding hole in the wall establishments in this area; the ambiance here is very much preferred. Though it is double the price we usually pay, it will definitely be an alternative to our usual kbbq eatery when we don't have the patience to drive all the way to K~town.

  • Simon W.

Overall an above average place. I would really give it 3.5 stars but they don't give half star options in the rating. But to make it a 3 isn't fair, so I rounded it to 4. The good - k-BBQ, AYCE, salad/banchan bar, even the basic tier provided enough good choices. The bad - spicy pork, Sunday lunch is a dinner price, dual tiered pricing system between basic and premium (yes I'm a cheap a$$).

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our time here. We got the all you eat lunch special $14.99. Unlimited self-served buffet was good cause that meant all I can eat fish cakes. I'm picky with my salad dressing but it met my expectations. I recommend getting these meat "don't rib me off", "skinny cow", "karubi in Tokyo". The service here was on point, they checked up on us every 5 minutes which was more than expected. Overall, a good spot for kbbq. I'll be a returning customer.

This place is really awesome! Super good quality meat, and a great price. The atmosphere is awesome, and the servers are extremely caring and attentive. Ching was my party's server one night, and he was wonderful. We had great conversations about random topics, and he definitely came off a lot more of a friend than a server to us. Overall, this restaurant is really great. Check it out if you're craving Korean BBQ!

  • Jennie T.

The customer service here is really good. They are all very attentive and you don't even have to ring a bell for service. I wish there were more items in the AYCE side bar. Although I didn't think they had that many choices of meats that I liked but it was a good experience with a good group of friends.

Just tried out this place for the first time. Showed up at 5PM for a early dinner, there was no wait! I like the big variety of hot/cold side dishes and meats they offer. The staff and service was very friendly, just have to flag them down if you need something. The price is well worth it. I will probably return for many more times. Only complain is that they should make sure the side dishes are fresh. I had the fish cake and it tasted spoiled and sour. So I had to spit it out.

  • N L.

Love the beef belly, brisket and unmarinated pork belly's just okay, love that they don't put oil in the salt, side bar's cool, but there need to be dividers between the communal tables because my hands can get messy eating with the wraps.

  • Jongsoo C.

Awesome! A great KBBQ place that I don't have to drive out to KTOWN for! Really awesome dishes, and quality food! All meats were perfect and minimal fat! The unlimited salad bar was great, and service was on point. My new favorite place you have to check it out.

Awesome KBBQ place locating in Arcadia shopping mall.. it's very clean, 7 of us order the $19.99, maybe because we went on Thursday night so there's no wait at all. Quality of meat is pretty good. You should order the hamburger patty is something really different that I have never tried else where. Their staff are very friendly and manager even come out and greet with us to ensure we were having a good time. again this place is awesome and we will be back for more

I've been to many Korean BBQ restaurants and by far, none tops this place (not even close). Customer service is superb and the quality of the meats is unmatched in comparison to all of the other Korean BBQ restaurants out there, to say the least. Honestly, I wouldn't waste my time and/or money on any other BBQ restaurant after having eaten here. Aside from the deelish meats and such friendly customer service, there is also a wide range choices to choose from the salad bar as well. YUMMY IN MY TUMMMY!

It was my first time here! And after a long hike with a few close loved ones this place helped set the after mood. Best survive and best food. This joint by far the BEST kBBQ I HABE EVER WENT TO. I came here on a Thursday night around 8pm and there was a long wait. I was seated at the big community table. So across and next to me were other parties, which was kind of odd. They have 20 items on the ayce menu and the salad bar has lots of options as well. The meat quality was ok and the salad wasn't fresh because I saw lots of brown spots on the lettuce. There wasn't anything I really like beside the great service. The 20% off deal end on the last day of august. So take advantage of it. Overall I won't be coming back here again. There's other better kBBQ options around the area.

Really large, new Korean BBQ located in the Santa Anita mall. They have a small buffet with salad and some Korean sides like spicy popcorn chicken, chicken soup, and mashed potatoes. Service was okay, not great. It took a long time for plates of uncooked meat to come out of the kitchen. Even worse, the server kept turning down our flame, despite us constantly turning it up. We like our meat charred and well done. When I asked her to stop turning down the flame, she confronted me, saying that it causes the grills to char up too fast. So I'm not allowed to cook my meat the way I like it?!?! The sides were okay. I liked the cold noodles. The spring rolls were okay. The mashed potatoes were just alright - didn't notice any apples in it like most Korean BBQ's. The spicy popcorn chicken was good but cold. It was not empty and they clearly didn't want to refresh it yet, so you could have cold chicken or none at all. Also, you have to get your own side salad. And there are no sanchu leaves, which is my favorite wrap. I don't like the pickled radish or rice paper wraps. The biggest problem was the meat. I don't know why Korean BBQ's cannot slice chicken into nice clean slices with marinade. It's always a big knuckle of meat all joined together with cartilage. Then you have to cut it. Japanese BBQ places know how to slice it. Why not Korean places? Also, the angry chicken was okay spice wise but kind of rubbery. The brisket was fine, but the last plate we got was extremely tough and in a weird shape. I think it was actually tongue, but they insisted that it was brisket but a different "cut" of brisket. How can you have a different cut of a specific cut of beef??? The menu shown on line is not up to date. They don't have garlic shrimp - only plain bland shrimp with no marinade. Again, why serve uncleaned shell on shrimp. Does anyone actually enjoy grilling shelled shrimp and then having to pick the shell off or chew it up and spit it out? Putting some garlic sauce on them would also help greatly. The bulgogi was overly sweet in my opinion, but otherwise okay. And the cuckoo chicken was all right except for being another large knuckle. I still say Ook-Kook is the best in the area. So I would not go back. Also keep in mind that the music is extremely loud Electronic Dance Music. You will feel like you're eating in a nightclub, which is not great for young children or old people.

All the fresh meat and fresh salad bar items served during grand opening months have gone. Steamed egg, fresh fruits, fried sweet potato with caramel, fresh fried rice and noodles are replaced with old leftovers. All the pasta are dried up on the buffet tray. Only grapes and pineapple are passed for fresh fruit. Price increased and no more one plate option. Just AYCE with bad ventilation and poor quality food. If they continue this way, they will not be open for long.

  • Chase H.

Service is worst than oo-kook!!! I asked for a steam egg and rice cake and one waiter said that they don't have it but when I asked another one, they had it and they gave us a limit of two hours to eat. The meat tastes better a oo-kook and they also have more varieties of food. So go check out oo-kook in stead of all that barbecue!!!!!!!!!!

Went in for lunch (11:30 am). After being seated was told it was dinner prices. Checked for posted pricing, and nothing saying that. Feeling like they were trying to blatantly rip off, immediately left. If you want other time(s) to be other than posted prices, you need to post that. Scammy. Immediately left. If they had said afterwards, I would have paid lunch only, so at least they didn't try REAL bait and switch, but considering we waited around a half hour for them to open to only be told that AFTER being seated is bad business.

first time here the male hostess were nice af, one of the girl was bruh........ food was good but i wish portions were a little more on the bugolgi compare to the briskets like what the heck but overall the prices was reasonable, not too high & not too low also they have a salad bar with side dishes such as eggrolls&dumplings!!! i found that pretty interesting.

This is my second time here and the service has definitely changed. They changed up their menu a bit. They cheated us every time we put in an order. If we asked for one order of brisket and 2 orders of the Korean ribs, they would bring us a large tray of brisket and 1 Korean rib. This kept happening several times and we confronted them. The waitress said she "would check" but it kept happening so we just kept ordering. We paid for AYCE and had a hard time to order. It doesn't make sense..they just wanted to be cheap about it. They did the same with the shrimp orders! So we just kept ordering... It was so bad. At the end they charged us $27 pp when we didn't eat their premium meats. They tried to cheat us again but it didn't work because we checked our bill. So they had to fix the bill. In a nut shell, this place is not worth the hassle. We like it because it's conveniently located in the mall, but honestly if you're going to be shady like that, then no thanks and good bye forever.

Ok so this is the 2nd time I've been here in 3 days and i am enjoying my experience here so far. The kbbq is dah bomb!!!! The best part is the service, the waiters are very nice and generous and very modern which is what makes them stand out from the rest. Also, the servers are asian, finally a place that makes it feel authentic. I find it very convenient that they put a korean barbeque at the mall. It was funny because one of the waitresses asked if I was korean, but i said no, and then she started talking korean to me and I was all like uhhhhhhhh Im not korean. 20 Percent off till august 31st so everyone should take advantage of it!!! LOVE YOU

My favorite Korean BBQ joint in the 626. I like this place a lot more than Korea house. The meat choices are all great, meat is very flavorful and there's some unique choices as well. The salad bar has a lot of choices. The staff is very attentive and the prices are pretty normal.

I came here the first time with my coworkers and had wonderful time. The second time I came with my good friend to catch up over good food. When we first got there, our waitress was really sweet and nice. She took our orders and turned on the grill. Ten or so minutes passes by, grill still on, and no plates of meat has come. The grill starts to burn & turn brown. Another waiter comes by and asks if were done and I, still in a good mood, brushed off his question and asked for the same order of plates we asked for in the beginning. Another ten minutes pass, our grill has blacken and still no plates of meat. The same waitress from before comes by, asks if were done and we let her know we haven't received any orders whatsoever. She checks up on our orders and tells us none of them went through........ I was in a pretty bad mood so instead of waiting in my seat to be helped I just got up and asked the first waiters I saw. We also didn't get any sauces or sauce plates until we had to get up and ask for them. This place needs better management and a floor team who knows what they're doing. I do not see myself coming back any time soon.

Definetly best kbbq spot I ever been too... The meat selection here is on the top and all of it is so good... My favorites are the flap tail steak, beef brisket, bulgogi and the ribs... But everything is here is quality... It also includes a salad bar and side dishes.. Best around.. Service is on point!! Love this place you guys need to try it out

What makes this place awesome is the service. I've gone about 5 times now and service has always been top notch. The meat selection is pretty good also. This place has a lot of life and enthusiasm. Almost your typical ayce kbbq but with enough twist to stand out.

Well this was a bad first experience. Came here with my sister around 9pm on Thursday. It was ok. I guess you get what you pay for. The choices of item, while there were 20 listed was not to my expectations. After ordering and recieving our first round, waitress came back to inform us that it was last call. Barely got a piece of meat into my mouth and now being rush to make final selection. I ask her to come back since we juat got our first order, but she just stood there, waiting for us to make the decision. I end up ordering random item. At this point, I felt like we were being rushed, so I was slowly getting annoyed. The salad and side item bar was sorry. They give you a bowl to make your salad, which consisted of romaine lettuce and four other veggies- whatever was left for the night. Cooked items were old and dry. The noodle dish was dry and had a funny fishy taste. I can't think of anything memorable about it. Service was hit or miss. Our waitress was not tentative and I felt like she was rushing us. After making us order our final selection for the "last call", she slowly disappeared and went on wait on the other tables. I was annoyed at this point and she probably notice it because another waitress end up tending to us. When she ask us if we wanted to order more item, I informed her that we were told on our last order, that it was "last call" and we were not allowed to order more. She looked confused but took our order regardless. Place is still new and still need improvement. Nice decoration and can definitely accommodate large parties. Maybe just need to give it more time..... maybe.

I came here with my friends on Tuesday night. I really enjoyed all the foods here. Meats are fresh and tasty. I really liked skinny dipping cow! The sauces are good. Also, salad bar and banchan are tasty as well. Service here was very friendly and attentive~ I will go back for sure!!!!

Honestly this place is pretty awesome. It's located at the Santa Anita mall, and the moment you walk in, you see a spacious dining area. At first I asked was it worth the price? YES! It is. All YOU CAN EAT KBBQ. Enough said. The sliced brisket (skinny dipping cow) is a must. They have a walk in buffet area with all types of Korean dishes. My favorite was the pumpkin porridge. Honestly it's a great place for large parties. And the best part NO WAIT! There is one in irvine and their wait was like an hour and a half. Definitely coming here again :)! Loved it

Called in and asked how much it was, they said $14.99, so we asked until when, they said until 3pm. We drove all the way from Montrose and they said it was dinner price because it was weekend. We told them what happened, no apology what so ever.

we came in on a friday night for a party of 5 and was told there was gonna be a 45+min wait. we decided to stay since we were already here and there was a 20% discount since it was a grand opening. unfortunately, we were very disappointed. service: first off, the majority of the customers including us were waiting outside in the promenade since it was obnoxiously loud inside. they have this horrible and pretty annoying system of having the hostesses come out and yell out your name to let you know your table is ready. they finally called us in after about an hour and thought we would get our table. wrong! we sat for another 25 mins and watched 5 tables being sat in front us when they had just come in! we were pretty annoyed by this time since we had already patiently waited the 45mins you told us to. we went to ask why we weren't being sat yet and the hostess told us "oh, we didn't call your name. i dont know why you guys came in." excuse me? what kind of answer is that? i know you probably just graduated high school but that is no way to talk to a customer. we asked to speak to the manager and he finally seated us. after we were seated, the waiter came to take our orders pretty fast but that was pretty much the only time we saw him. we had to flag him down every time we needed to order food which was super annoying since every plate they brought out literally had 5 pieces on it. we ordered shrimp, we got 5 shrimps. how do you expect me to finish in the 2hr time frame when i dont even get my food? it was impossible to get everything we wanted since we had to flag people down so many times. i guess that's what their business tactic is which is really shady. the only attentive person working was the hispanic busboy. the other workers who were cleaning the tables cleaned louder than the music, and if you've been there, you know how loud the music is. we finally just gave up and asked for the check which also took forever to get to us. food: the food was ok, but nothing exciting. plates were small and hard to get. the salad bar was kinda sad. nothing was refilled and the only things refilled were cold. the only thing good was the bulgogi but that's kind of hard to screw up at a KBBQ place and i could get it for $7 next door at lettuce go.... basically, if you want good KBBQ for the price, oo-kook is definitely better than this joint. it definitely needs better service and not those high school students calling themselves hostesses and college students calling themselves servers. after this experience, most likely wont be visiting again.

Great place to get your Korean BBQ fix. Meat tasty, fresh, brisket and beef belly super thin, cooks up crispy, my favorite here. Steamed egg super fluffy. $20 dinner well worth it. Service and staff here are great. Side food bar has lots to choose. Modern restaurant design, club music in background not my favorite.

It's pretty worth it for the lunch deal. However if you want to come here during the busy hours the wait can be up to 40 minutes. The service was okay since my friend and I often had to ask them to change the grill instead them changing it without us asking. Remember to check in with yelp so you get a free soda. It's better to come here when you're really hungry because you can get pretty stuffed. But overall this place is good and for the price it's worth it.

love my server kelly, dang i think i am in love lol, t pain backs me up (Im sprung) everything is great I thought they have short rib, but it was actually rib meat (I can't give further detail on this lol). I gave this place a try only because I assumed that they have short rib for the price $20.00 ayce. I thought to myself, not bad for that price: however, overall, decent. My server Kelly is jiang lol Everyone is hard working, but dang she is hardworking. Love that for a women. My bias is kicking in lol. Ill come back to this place only for her. Server served decent amount of meats for a start. Normally, you would get a plate, then order more as you go. Nice outdoor. Bathroom clean. Have a 2 hours limit policy, but noone is making a big deal about it. Nice vent, I, personally, don't like the top vent, because it felt like I filter it before it actually get suck into the filter. This place has the grill filter. I would say this place is very similar to OO gook in Rosemead, Just no fruit and certain item. Taste is ok. Gayu kaku has better taste. Eat with confident! Take me with you, so I can give kelly a visit lol

Just left here and the food and service were excellent. First time and like the buffet style. But more importantly the service. Everyone was very friendly and more than willing to give a hand with our cooking.

I have been to many KBBQ places in LA and this restaurant takes it all. The service was excellent and the waiters continuously were around asking if they could help with anything. And seeing the manager himself taking orders, serving the customers, and shaking each of my friend's hands before leaving after a great meal was great. Even though this restaurant serves KBBQ, it is different from all of the others. Thank you Ron and all of the waiters for having me and my friends. We will be back soon!

i approve. service was fast and staff was very friendly and upbeat. talk about service with a smile, the staff made it a very enjoyable evening. quality was great. the grill was oiled very well and did not stick as quickly as some others have. reasonable prices for such great quality meats. unique type of items like the beef patty wrapped around a rice stick which was bomb. nice buffet bar for side items. they got radish wrap and rice paper wraps. definitely coming back.

Just had a stressful day and this place can melt it all away. Very eager staff to help you with everything you need. Try their ribs and all their marinated meat. Ate here with my wife and definitely going back again!

My wife and I arrived at the restaurant at around 7:30pm last and the front desk girls added our name to the waiting list. We sat down and started waiting. In the following 30 minutes, the parties of three or four after us were led to their seats. We waited until 8:15pm, and still parties of three or fours got their seats but we are still waiting. We began concerned and asked for the manager. The manager explained to us that the seats are for party of three or four more and there is no table for smaller parties. We told him that we should have been informed of the situation before adding our names to the waiting list. We have wasted almost an hour not knowing about this. Finally we were offered a seat (for size of at least four people). If we did not ask, probably we will never able to have dinner and still in the dark. When we left the restaurant, we saw another party of two asking for the manager, guessing they are having the same problem. I want to give zero star to this restaurant and will never go there again for meal. Too bad, the lowest is one star. In terms of the quality of meat, I would say so so comparing with the ones offered by Oo-Kook.

I've had Korean BBQ before and so I liked the all you can eat concept but I'm fairly disappointed.. The salad bar really was nothing but romaine lettuce or iceberg lettuce and the grills weren't that great. It took a while to get the meats cooked. It was ok but probably won't come here again.

7:30pm on sunday we r hungry, we saw this nice look all u can eat bbq place and the price seems to be pretty attractive. when u go in its kind confusing, they give u a menue of different meat, we tryed most of it and its fresh and the experience it not like ur regular buffet. two item on menue we didnt like r the korean specialty meats, it taste weired for us. when u go in try their tofu soup, and steam eggs. overall good dinning experience and location is inside the arcadia mall.

This place is one of the nicest KBBQ restaurant I've been to! All the meat cuts are fresh when they come out and they have a salad bar/buffet section so no more waiting for your sides. This location is brand new so they're offering 20% on the weekdays. My favorite items are: skinny dipping cow(brisket), best cow in school(flap tail steak), and the karubi in tokyo(beef belly). Aside from need they so have chicken, pork, and seafood selections.
