This place seems to always be packed especially during lunch and rightfully so. The pho is fresh and the broth is good. The owners (husband and wife) are so friendly and remember us each time we go. I've also tried a few other rice and noodle dishes and they are great as well. This place never disappoints and satisfies my Pho and Vietnamese cuisine craving every time.

My husband and I come here every Saturday for lunch! We love the freshness of the food. Our fav is the charbroiled pork Pho. The flavor is out of this world! Highly recommend!

As far as price and food goes this place is probably one of the best pho restaurants around (wouldn't expect it from Anaheim Hills). Anyways, the only thing that kept me from giving a 5-Star is just that sometimes their service is a little slow. Its just a matter of waving one of the servers down though. Here's some of the things I've ordered in the past. - Pho Thai (Rare Beef): My go-to when I'm feeling under the weather or just want bomb soup. - Vietnamese Egg Rolls: I pretty much start my meals with these bad boys. Fish sauce is great too. These usually come FRESH from the fryer so be careful with that first bite. - Combination Rice Plate (Beef) - Good portion. Tastes good.. Not amazing, but good. - Thai Iced Tea - Above average. You should definitely give it a try if you are a fan. - Passion Fruit Lemonade: GOOOOOOD. Refreshing. Only downside is no free refill.

Close to home and delicious foods. Anything you order here is gonna be good. There really is the Viet vibe at this restaurant where you do not have to drive all the way to little Saigon for. Good food, good service. That's all you really need.

Best place to eat in anaheim hills. The broth is so flavorful and delicious. The owner lady is also super nice. I definitely recommend this place.

I love vietnamese food and i am always in search of good Viet restaurant outside of little Saigon. my vietnamese friends took us to this amazing rest. in little saigon a while back, but I don't even remember the name of the restaurant and none of the staff spoke English, so I guess it was a local only place. anyway, I went to eat here with my family per great Yelp reviews. We ordered pho, bun and fried rice. the portion was big and it was pretty good. One of the best so far. But I'm taking two stars off for service. Rude staff and bad service is pretty typical of Vietnamese restaurants, so I don't expect a miracle, but with such great reviews, I expected a little better. yes, it was slightly better than few other ones I recently visited. rude (almost non--existing) greeting as we walked in, had to call someone to take order, no expression on his face, not asking if we were doing ok (we all were out of water and had to ask them to bring more) and not even saying good-byes as we walk out. It is just so annoying. Wish I can find great pho place with great food and service. Now back to my search for that perfect place...

Very fast service and fresh food! This place is always busy but there is never a wait time. Their pho always tastes so fresh!

great Vietnamese food. Everything is good. Owner is very responsive to concerns or requests. The charbroiled chicken is excellent, whether in chicken salad or pho. Diced filet mignon is great also.

Hard to find good Vietnamese food in Yorba Linda/Brea area. I've been here twice and both times had Pho Tai (beef). The broth is good and so is the portion size. Friendly and fast service. Give it a try!

Prices are great, flavors are great. I've literally come here every week for the last month. Special mention for the vermicelli with grilled meat. They give two huge skewers of meat and a ton of noodles. And TWO egg rolls! I love pho restaurants and have been all over the place, but this is easily top 3.

The four stars are all for the one thing that is SPECTACULAR at this place. That is the garlic steak with buttered rice. It is so damn good it makes it work coming here even though the rest of the food isn't very good. The pho was mediocre to poor. The casings on the spring rolls were pretty hard and the shrimp inside was tiny and had no seasoning. The spring rolls over all tasted like nothing. The curry was just not good. But the garlic steak? Omg so tender and yummy. Sadly, they don't give you very much! It's a tiny little bit of steak. But it's so darn good that we'll come back just for that.

Pho was definitely good, everything else we tried (fried rice, chicken with soft noodles, spring rolls) had a weird taste. It might be the oil it was made in. If you want just pho, it's pretty good.

My friends and I always go here to get pho when we don't feel like driving all the way to Garden Grove. The pho here is pretty good But what makes me a fan are the workers! They are really friendly, funny, and nice! And since my friends and I go here so often, they recognize us and give us special deals!

Interesting place that was hopping. My mom can only handle Asian food on a small basis. Their food looks good and tastes good. I will try other things later. This is the divas spot....

Ive only tried the Tofu spring rolls here and they are good. You get 2 rolls for about $5.

Went here today for lunch. Got the #19, pork vermicelli with egg rolls. It was delish! I'm so happy I found a place in the area! Amazing food...kinda pricey for the spring rolls, though. Only 2 for $4.50.

Great tasting pho soup. Pho comes in small or large bowls. I think the smalls are less than $6 for most of the pho. They have rice dishes that they're pretty famous for, like previous yelpers have mentioned; I might have to try one next time. Servers are nice and attentive. The place is pretty clean. Good location. Ample parking in private lot. The only thing I didn't like about the place is that you have to order a minimum of $10 if you use a credit card. Ugh Needles to say, the food is great so I will definitely come back!

My husband and I really enjoy pho. Our favorite place, however, is all the way in Upland (Pho Mai on Mountain Ave. Highly recommend you check it out if you're ever in the area.). We've been searching for a local pho place that we enjoy, and (being that Pho Vina was the highest rated place on our local yelp list) we decided to give it a try. I was really stuck between 2 and 3 stars for my rating, but the more I think about the service we received, it brings it down to 2. There wasn't a problem with our order or anything, but our server was actually kind of rude. I felt like he didn't even acknowledge us as customers. More like people that were inconveniencing him. We ordered everything we wanted the first time he came to the table, and after that he just kept zooming by us. He seemed to be a lot more attentive towards other customers, so I'm not sure if he was offended by us personally or something else was the issue. It took forever to get his attention to ask for green chili and some water. Overall atmosphere of the place was, to be quite honest, not very clean. The place just feels very "tired". The tabletops and our tableware both seemed clean, but the floor, walls, and even cash register area looked pretty dingy. I didn't get a chance to see the restrooms. The quality of food was just "okay". The broth was hot, but it had kind of a soapy aroma. The flavor tasted fine once the lime, bean sprouts, and green chili were added; but the initial smell of our soup smelled like dish soap. We both ordered pho with rare beef and flank steak. The meat was not very good, and it just LOOKED gross. There was a lot of fat left on the meat, and most of the pieces looked almost black and like they were disintegrating in the broth. It wasn't very appetizing. Usually, after eating pho, I feel full but still clean. After eating this pho, I felt oily, greasy, and just kind of yucky after looking at the pieces of meat. After reading reviews that had referenced the servings as small, we both ordered the large. We ended up leaving with about half of our soup packed to go. We both thought the small serving would have been more than enough. Small size was priced at $6.75, and the large was $7.50. While these prices are still more than most other pho places, it's not by much. I think I usually pay $6.50 for a large, so it was only $1.00 more than usual. However, because the quality was lower than I expected, I do think their prices are a little high. We also ordered egg rolls. It came with 5 pieces. They were also just "okay". The egg rolls were very crunchy and flaky on the outside, but I didn't care too much for the filling. Once you bit into the center of the egg roll, it tasted oily and mushy. We also ordered an iced coffee with boba and a pot of jasmine tea. The iced coffee with boba was really good, but the serving was quite small for the price they charged. The large pot of jasmine tea was very cheap (like $1.00) and probably the best part of our meal. In conclusion: this place provided poor service, low quality food, and higher prices. This was honestly pretty disappointing. We really wanted to like this place considering how convenient their location is to our house. Looks like my local search for a good pho place continues. :-(

Friendly service and food comes out really fast. A good local establishment to get your Vietnamese food fix. The pho was tasty and the charbroiled pork with the bun was pretty tasty. Spring rolls were also good. Will definitely come back for a return visit.

Arrived to dirty table and chairs. Asked for water without ice and it came with lots of ice. Water taste like it came straight from the faucet without filtering. Ordered fried rolls and special combo pho. Fried rolls was re-fried and the meat inside was still partially uncooked. There was a piece of plastic in the plate- nasty. Pho was alright but because of the negative first impression as described above the overall was just so-so. By the time we were done there was a line of people waiting for tables. We waved for several minutes but the waiters always looked somewhere else. Can't say I'll come back. Service and 1st impression is quite important.

The pho and the spring rolls hit the spot, but the service was rushed and uninviting. In addition, the giant television screen was blaring Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune at us while we were eating. Not the best ambiance... I got my favorite, the pho with rare beef and meatballs, and it came out the same way it does at every other pho joint. The meat was good, the broth was good, and they had all the standard toppings and sauces. It's all about the sriracha, my friends! The rare beef was really good. We also had some spring rolls as appetizers, which were also good...they met my standards. The restaurant was really busy when we were there, and the staff made no attempt to conceal the fact that they wanted to move us through as quickly as possible. My husband wanted a mango boba tea to go, but after having our check nearly thrown in our face without being asked if we were done, it was difficult to track someone down long enough to order a drink. I didn't much care for this, which I think is reasonable. Anyway, I may come back during the day for lunch, but if they are busy I recommend going elsewhere.

Asian food in Yorba Linda? most questionable. Target clientele? probably not viets/asians. Overall ruling: decent. Not as good as hole in wall places in westminster but its pretty decent if you factor in the distance/drive. the interior actually resembles a typical pho place in westminster: dirty, broken in seats that cave in where the heaviest people have sat, waiters that speak very broken english plus a heavy accent. I dont know if it was just my visit but they served lemons with the pho condiment's plate (mint, bean sprouts, should be limes but it was lemons, jalapenos). I asked our waiter for limes, he brings me a side dish of all lemons. I dont know if he doesnt understand me or that he thinks lemons are identical to limes (which they are not, just because they both start with an L doesnt mean they're the same) and lemons into pho is really not preferable for me. The noodles are really meh. not like broken over soaked falling apart noodles but they weren't spectacular. Insufficient amount of meat. Broth was ok. 6.50 for a basic brisket pho, regular size. so honestly its A-OK. It's not a place you'd drive out of the way to, but if you are in the area and you want some broth n noodles, maybe you can drop in. Dont raise your hopes for awesomeness tho.

Great Pho, moved from San Jose this summer and this Pho matches anything I had up north, lots of meat and the broth is very tasty. Have not tried the rice yet always go back to the Pho.

I definitely didn't have a lot of high expectations but was pleasantly surprised with this place. The pho here is pretty good! Great place to satisfy my pho fix when I'm too lazy to drive to Westminister.

Came here for lunch, and ordered the pho ga in a large. The friendly waitress seated me immediately. I got my food in about 5 minutes after ordering, which is great for my 30 minute lunch. The broth tasted very good. A good amount of chicken that wasn't too dry and in big flat slabs came in the bowl. I am very pleased with the taste. However, they ask that you order $10 minimum to use credit card. I had to order a side of eggrolls to get past the amount. The eggrolls were excellent. The plate came with 5 eggrolls, I didn't mind ordering them because they tasted so good.

This place has definitely got 5 stars in my book! first of all, the location is CLOSE! i dont have to drive out to GG/westminster for a nice bowl of pho secondly, the waiters can speak ENGLISH :) yay! no trouble messing up orders because of lack of communication thirdly, their #58 rice dish is AMAZINGGG!! its called garlic steak with buttered rice or something along the lines of that but omg. this dish was so freakin delicious. the steak was soo juicy and my tastebuds were rejoicing! lastly, your meal comes with free dessert (the yellow tapioca soup stuff) ps: Pho Vina beats Pho 2012 anyday, IMO

We've been here many times and have taken friends and family here for casual lunches/dinners. Their pho is delicious, but their service can be inconsistent. Servers range from warm and attentive to curt and neglectful. The pho is wonderful and delicate. The meat is fatty and rich, served with a generous portion of noodles. I like to dip the brisket in a mix of hoisin and sriracha sauce. I have tried the chicken pho and it's bland. Learn from my mistake and get the beef - the cow is where the flavor is here! Their egg rolls are crunchy, flavorful and always tasty. My two boys often split a chicken kabob plate with yellow rice. It is fresh and savory; they eat it like it's goin' out of style! Sometimes we get a tapioca soup for dessert, and other times they don't serve it, even upon request... Pho Vina's food is always good. A steaming hot bowl of noodles is just what the doctor orders when someone in my family starts to get the sniffles. Or has their wisdom teeth pulled the day before their anniversary date with reservations to a steakhouse. Or White Midwestern family members visit and wants to try "cultural food". Or when I don't want to cook and do dishes... You get the picture. :)

Love this place. The pho is excellent. You know it's good when you walk in and you're the only non Asian. I usually get the beef pho and the spring rolls. Very good.

I remember a time (before I became a Yelper!) when Pho Vina served a solid bowl of pho. I'm talking about piping hot broth, fresh garnishes, and a FREE homemade tapioca dessert . But alas, those days are now gone. I have been a loyal Pho Vina patron for the last 3 years and it is with a saddened heart that I say this will no longer be the case. Over the course of 3 years, the quality and consistency of Pho Vina's pho has declined. Not only is the broth lukewarm, the freshness of the garnishes is questionable, and the noodles overcooked, but the prices have increased as well. I also believe they started using MSG in their broth as I left the restaurant with cotton mouth and extremely thirsty. I wish i could say that this is just a fluke, that Pho Vina was just having a bad night, but this seems to be the case during my last several visits. Despite the declining quality of food, the one thing that has pushed me over the edge and will prevent me from ever returning is the process they go through to close down each night. If you happen to swing by for a quick bite within 30 minutes of closing, you'll be greeted with open arms and a warm smile. HOWEVER, your meal will be RUDELY interrupted by the staff mopping the floor with strong smelling chemicals. Imagine the smell of MSG riddled broth being overpowered and replaced by Pin Sol. I understand its the end of the night, and you're tired, and you just want to go home, but I don't think it's appropriate for any restaurant staff to start closing shop before the stated closing time while patrons are still eating. With that said, i bid you farewell Pho Vina. Good day!

I used to be a regular about 3 years ago and would have given this place 4-stars. But now, I'd give them maybe 3 stars. Their pho is pretty good, but they put MSG and when you ask some of their wait staff, they don't speak enough english to be able to understand what you need to know. They also got rid of their mung bean tapioca dessert which was my favorite part of this restaurant. Also, they raised their prices quite a bit... from around $5 or 6 for a bowl to over $8 now. These prices are more expensive than Irvine! I doubt I'd come back here again.

My fiance' and I really enjoy a good bowl of Pho. Since we live in the hills, Westminster is a bit far, so we feel that this place will give us our fix. The Spring rolls themselves are ok, 4/5, but the sauce is absolutely nasty. I don't know what they do to it, but there is no peanut butter flavor what so ever. And if you're like me, the sauce is what makes the whole spring roll tasty. The egg rolls are very good, but they skimp on the lettuce and vegetables, which is the only healthy part. The Pho Tai (rare beef) is pretty good, 4/5, but we've had better. Lately, my fiance has been getting really bad headaches after eating there, so we think that they've been adding too much MSG to their Pho :/ This is quite disappointing because this is one of the more decent restaurants around us. Overall, if you just need a quick decent bowl in this area, this would be an ok place. They are very quick and friendly, so that's always a plus. (I'm giving them an honest 3/5. I believe a 4 would be too much due to the disgusting peanut sauce, and the excess MSG in the pho. I hope this helps.)

OMG! ORDER THE MARINATED STEAK!!! THE SPECIALTY #47! I just want to give a brief update and an increase in one star overall, due to a Five Star Dish. I have been here 3 times now. The Pho is ok. The owner told me to order the pepper steak..repeatedly on each visit. I finally did on a take out order. OMG! The meat was tender and the sauce was amazing. Give me a straw and I will drink the sauce! The tender diced and marinated steak was plentiful. There was a very large portion of veggies with salad. $8.50 is a deal. The owner referred to this dish as Pepper Steak, the menu I was given lists it as "Garlic Steak" (Item 47). I just know this is not like any Com Bo Luc Lac I have ever had and don't care! I don't care what this is as long as I can have it again!! The owner was right. THIS IS THEIR SPECIALTY! (See Posted Photo). I will totally return!

Yummers! I'm new to Pho but my coworkers keep taking me to some of these spots and I absolutely love it! I have noticed they sure do give you hearty portions here. I love to either order the pho with all the kinds of meat in it, or the vermicelli with the meat and eggroll on the side. I've also had their salad with the chicken too. All of it has been really yummy and as busy as it is, there's plenty of room for us when we crowd in here for lunch. Service is efficient and the price is cheap. I'm definitely a fan.

I love this place. I'll confess all I've ever ordered here is Seafood Pho (36 on the menu) and I've probably been here 20 times. One of these days I'll get past #36 and try something else - people I've been with tell me there's lots of other good stuff available so I want to try all of them.

  • Leo B.

Been here several times and I really enjoy the food here. I usually get the charbroiled beef over buttered rice and fried egg! I have also had the pork chop. Both are very tasty and filling. They served Thai iced tea, which is a bonus for me! Food comes fast and hot! My only negative comment is that they are a little in the pricey end, when u compare to other Pho joints. But being in yorba Linda, you don't have too many choices, so this is definitely a good choice!

  • Jennifer K.

What happened to this place? They have flies everywhere now and the restaurant is sticky and dirty. That's when you wonder if the food you are eating is as dirty as the restaurant! But the servers are still nice and attentive. Food, somewhat still the same. I'd rather go to the other Pho place, diagonally in the Innout plaza. Definitely way cleaner.

    (2)
  • Tam L.

Their Vermicelli salad with eggrolls, grilled pork & shrimp is probably their be dish. I'm not a huge fan off their pho. I do love the complimentary warm sweet mung bean & tapioca dessert.

    (3)
  • Mark R.

Very nice Pho shop. Extensive mixed Asian menu. I usually get the rare or well beef pho. Service is quick and all the extras you'd expect (mint, peppers, basil, sprouts etc). The crispy egg rolls are also very good (wrap in lettuce and add fixings).

Now I am not a fan of Pho, it's a little too much like soup for me, but the hus swears by it. For me it's their garlic steak with buttered rice that hits the spot. The sauce is full of chunks o' garlic and has just enough sweet and sour flavor to make me practically lick the plate. Best part though, is that they cook with soybean oil not peanut oil like many places so I can actually enjoy all of their foods, even the fried spring rolls! Yum! I have come here before with a group, and just the hus and I. Both times the service was fast & friendly and it's totally affordable for a sit down restaurant.

They had some amazing pho here. This restaurant is family owned. The spring rolls were really good as well.

    (5)
  • C W.

Their pho broth is very flavorful and not watered down like other places in the area. It's by far the best pho place in Anaheim Hills/Orange/Yorba Linda area. The mung bean tapioca soup dessert that comes with every meal is also delish. We buy it for take out all the time to hold us over, especially when we crave it on Sundays when they are not open.

    (3)
  • Ashley E.

I LOVE this place!!! The service is pho-nomenal and the food is to die for! I go there and order every single week. I recommend the pho, charbroiled pork spring rolls, egg rolls and Vietnamese coffee without reservation! I usually get a large order to-go and they box it up and carry it to my car for me. The broth for the pho is some of the absolute best I've had (and I've sampled my fair share). Go there! You won't regret it!!

Not a big Pho person, but decided to try this place out for lunch while at work one day. Now i come here once a week its so yummy. Broth is awesome, i have yet to try anything else beside the regular chicken Pho but its awesome. Close to work and not pricey at all! Overall great place and they are fast and take phone orders.

  • Holly E.

One of the better pho restaurants in Anaheim Hills, what better way to cure a hangover with a nice bowl of pho. Its pretty good, the portion is decent, the price is reasonable and the staff is quick and attentive. The only thing that irked me was the plate of veggies. My beans sprouts were kinda brown/yellow and the water was running off the plate :\

    (3)
  • Rae R.

If you need something fast, then this place is good enough. The quality of pho is okay. I didn't get a lot of meat in my pho and 95% of the bowl was pretty much the noodles. Pricing is fair.

Amazing spring rolls. Very flavorful broth in the pho (I had chicken). Add quick, efficient service and reasonable prices, and this place is a winner!

My husband and I come here often. Fast service but quality of food is great! The broth is great! Even our 8 year old who's not so into Vietnamese food loved their pho! We think this is the best Vietnamese restaurant around the area!

Dont normally do vietnamese food, however this place me and my coworkers go to sometimes for lunch is always good. The service is always speedy and their menu is fairly reasonable (around $10/per person for lunch).

  • Steve V.

This place is tucked away in a strip mall off The 91. It is in an unexpected area of town but adds to the food scene there. There is plenty of room inside the restaurant and you do not feel squeezed in. There is also outdoor seating and the service is fairly quick, but again, not pressured. As for the food, this is where this place lacks. It is definitely good enough to give you your pho fix, but not nearly as good as any of the places in Westminster. The broth is a bit short on flavor and the portions are smaller than at other places. It is run by Vietnamese people so that's a good start. So if you can't make it to Westminster, this place is a decent substitute!

I really enjoy dining at Pho Vina. The staff is friendly, the prices are great, but above all else, the food is tasty! Their pho is good, but being that I'm not the hugest fan of pho in general, I decided to take another Yelper's advice and order the Com Bo Luc Lac. It's garlic steak (aka pepper steak)...and WOW...seriously one of the best dishes I have ever had the pleasure of tasting! It comes with a delicious salad and butter rice on the side. The plate is HUGE! I think it's $8.50, which is a steal, to be honest, because it's soooo much food. Their Vietnamese egg rolls are also equally delicious. In fact, I'd say out of all the Pho places I've tried so far in Orange County, they might even be the best! I enjoy the lettuce wrappings they provide, plus the carrots, noodles, and other fixings. It makes eating the egg rolls quite the experience. They also give a free tapioca pudding dessert at the end of the meal, which is awesome. Give Pho Vina a try, you won't be disappointed! My friend and I ate here for about 20 bucks and we got two HUGE entrees plus an appetizer. We were SO stuffed by the time we left. Definitely worth a visit!

Owner recommended the Bo Luc Lac ("Shaken" beef") and guaranteed our satisfaction or exchange for another dish. Keep your guarantee pal. The plate was huge. Nice portion of salad in Vietnamese oil/vinegar dressing. Perfectly seasoned cubed steak with lots of sauteed onions and scallions; even the rice was unique...Not your typical white Jasmine, but yellow in color, infused with butter and garlic. Very moist. Afterwards, they treated us to a nice warm tapioca dessert or "che".

SO GOOD. this place is so affordable and really tasty - and in Anaheim HIlls?!?!??!? whaaaat the. seriously. haven't tried the pho yet, but it seems to be extremely popular. husband and I both had bbq pork rice plates, he had his with the eggrolls and i had the vietnamese "quiche". uhm, awesomeness. just pour fish sauce all over everything, yum yum! i love the service here; our waiter was super nice, the food came out fast, and he commented "wow, the kitchen really hooked you guys up!" - which was true, we had a ton of food! annnnnd we even got free asian dessert soup! i looove tapioca soup, so i was in heaven. and the best part: the vietnamese coffee (cafe sua da). uh that stuff is hecka strong. i ordered one to go, since i was planning on staying up to study, and have a nasty habit of falling asleep while studying every 5 minutes. 1/8 of the way through the cup, i was WIRED. like, i finished the coffee around 10pm and was up and jittery till 4 am (and i'm the kinda girl that drinks double-shot espresso drinks as a nightcap). yeah, not great for an 8am exam. BUT STILL. i am totally going to get this every night of finals week. and just drink it by 8pm. you have been warned.

I wish this place was closer to my house because it's quite tasty. Came here today and shared the steak and butter rice with the lady, and I must say I really enjoyed it. The onions that came with the steak were awesome. I liked how the rice was able to soak up all that meaty juice. The plate also came with a huge portion of salad that really balanced the meal out nicely. Got the carbs, the protein, and the greens all on one plate. We also shared the avocado boba which I enjoyed even though some of the boba was really really hard and chewy. I'm pretty sure some of that boba passed its expiration date. All in all, a nice meal.

If I really care about the service I would have given it a 2, but food brought up my stars, especially yellow rice and beef combo (forgot name of plate sorry) What is it about Vietnamese restaurants and service!! Put some smiles on your face and you will get more tips.!!!

3.5 Pretty good. We went here for lunch on a Saturday, and they were pretty busy. I got the #26 pho, and it was nice and refreshing. Service was good. I had a leftover spring roll, and our server gave me extra peanut sauce to go. That was a nice touch. They have happy hour specials Monday - Friday from 3pm - 5pm. Caution when parking... this shopping enter gets crazy packed. I suggest parking further away from the restaurant and walking over.

My wife and I went last nite, I had Pho soup with tendon and rare beef - there was not alot of rare beef - the broth was good... When I got home, I knew immediately that they had put MSG in this soup as when you experience a MSG side affect, you never forget it! I used to go to this spot when it was with the previous owners and never had this side affect. Any Pho fans on here, please send me a msg on where to go for the best Pho in Orange County! I live in Newport and crave clean Pho often so would appreciate a referral. Sadly

I come here about once a week. There's something for everyone in the family. I love their com Bo luc lac, rice with diced filet mignon sautéed in butter and garlic. My husband loves the egg rolls here. We always start off with an order, they come with lettuce and noodles and a delicious dipping sauce. Egg roll lettuce wrap, yummmmm. My kids can't get enough of the pho. It tastes very authentic. Like the ones you get in little Saigon. The place is clean, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable.

My friend and I come here on a relatively frequent basis. It's the best pho I've ever had, though I've only had Pho 99 and Pho Co.... They always remember us, and our pho comes out fast and delicious. We always get a side of onions, which also comes with extra cilantro and jalapeno's. I love their thai iced tea, though the boba can be a little much when I get a large pho. We can get out of there for less than $20, even when we order drinks other than water. The bean pudding is free at the end, which is always a nice treat. My only problem with it is their hours. They open too late and close too early... But then again, I have an odd sleep schedule, so it's not their fault they aren't open when I'm hungry :)

Meh, I've had better. I'm not use to having my meals so cold (I had the bun tom thit nuong cha gio). It seemed as if they pulled it right out of the fridge and onto a plate. Maybe that's why it tasted a bit bland. On the plus side, the lemonade was great!

My dad told me all about the owner of this place and about the good food. So obviously, I went into this restaurant with an empty stomach and with high expectations. I was not disappointed. The chicken and rice was astounding. The rice was very interesting. It was a bit yellowish and had a sweet, but not too sweet, type of flavor. This went really well with the chicken and sauce that came along in the dish. The chicken was a bit dry, but not too dry. The sweetness of the chicken with the sauce combined with the rice was really good. I was really impressed. The manager and owner of the establishment came out to greet my party and chatted with us for a bit. He is a really nice guy. The service and our waiter was great too. Overall, I'm a fan! Great stuff here.

yes, i am viet. this place doesn't top the best. why 4 stars then? -it's ANAHEIM. you're not going to find super good viet food in this area. unless you dont have time to drive to westminster/garden grove/santa ana then come here. -it's minutes from my work. -fast service. you're in , you're seated, you order and food is there pronto. -cheap. not ridiculously priced like other places in anaheim hills or "americanized" places. i.e.. irvine, chino hills, tustin.etc etc I ordered pho tai bo vien which is pho with rare steak and beef balls (reg. bowl) and che ba mao (sp?) which is a 3 colored dessert drink(really really good!) ...total came out to $8.97 -they know english. my viet is pretty bad and sometimes its hard to order if im picky with my food. bad points: soup was a lil bland. there was a indistinct, flowery aroma from the soup... i couldn't place what it was..but i never smelled it at other places.. *shrug. either way...the soup didnt have much flavor. watered down sriracha and hoisin sauce to "save costs".. stuff is cheap as it is..why water it down to save money? since its in a shopping center parking gets really tough sometimes.. esp during lunch rush. will i return? yeah probably but i'll be looking through yelp to find other places near my work that you yelpers say is better...

Good shit. A solid spot for Pho and Vietnamese food in general (eggrolls nom nom nom). Probably won't need to be driving out to Wetminstuh so much anymore. Minor gripes: bean sprouts slightly yellowed/browned, meat balls had a slightly oldish oily taste.

In the new hood, and am looking around for my staples of food. yes, pho is one of them. This place is pretty good. I guess, nothing bad to say, but it wasn't anything fantastic. Just comforting knowing some rice noodles are nearby.

Some of the best Vietnamese food to be found anywhere and the price/portion ratio is just amazing. Very friendly. I mostly get take-out, but do dine in occasionally. They have never, not once, messed up my phone order. The vermicelli noodles with charbroiled beef is the stuff dreams are made of. The soup is excellent. This is what a local mom-and-pop restaurant is supposed to be about. Absolutely worth the drive to eat there.

Pho Vina is a 5 min drive from my house, so maybe I'm partial to them because they're so close to me. But besides that, I give them 4 stars because they're friendly, their pho tai is amazing, and they always remember who I am every time i stop by. They also remember that I love their dessert. Once I stopped by to pick up an order to go, and they gave me a bowl of tapioca pudding to enjoy while I waited for my food. Another time they gave me two bowls after I finished my meal. Kinda embarrassing because I was by myself so I just looked like a fat kid that really like pudding. Oh well, I love this place and recommend anyone to try it out!

Just checked this place out today on a whim. My friend and I had just finished climbing at Rock City, and we wanted to get something to eat before smoking hookah at Hidden Cafe. Service was very fast. I ordered pho bo vien with a side of tai, and a Thai iced tea. The broth was extremely flavorful. The Thai iced tea was nothing special, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Pho in the Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda area? It's usually not the first place I think of when I want to get pho BUT I do work in the area and sometimes it's good to have Vietnamese food nearby. After trying it out, it's not bad at all. In fact it's pretty good (for being outside the Little Saigon area). I ordered pho tai nam with the rare and well-done meat. They give a good amount of meat here that was tender. The soup was pretty good...not sweet like some bad pho places. It is slightly more expensive for a bowl at $6 but it's worth it I'd say. I'll have to try bun & rice dishes in the future as they are easier for takeout. Service was really good. The restaurant was full but they were very attentive and checked on us throughout our meal. They do need to decide on what their name should be though. As Christa said in her review, the windows say "Oodles of Noodles," the menus say "Pho Vina" and the sign outside says "Pho Tasia." Overall, 3.5 stars.

Cute, casual, and family style place. Prices are cheap and the service is excellent and friendly. They're very cool about helping you decide what to order. As someone who's not familiar with Vietnamese food this is really helpful. I really like the egg rolls and spring rolls here, so much so that I have frequent cravings for them. I don't dig the fish sauce with grated carrots that comes with them, though. It's kind of... funky. An acquired taste, I think. When we were there there was a big family celebrating someone's birthday. It seems kid-friendly and like a nice place to just chill with your friends or the fam. Relaxed and casual.

Previously known as Oodles of Noodles Pho. yelp.com/biz/oodles-of-n… Very friendly service and exceptional food makes this restaurant a solid choice if you're near the Anaheim Hills area and are craving Vietnamese grub in a bad way. We try to visit them at least once a month whenever we need to get some dog food for our mutts from Pet Supply Warehouse which is in the same complex. Our current absolute favorite is the Tender Garlic beef with Butter rice and the Cornish hen with Butter rice. One Con is that Vietnamese Beef Stew which is my favorite of the various Vietnamese soup types is not served here... Bah! But hey, at least they give you free dessert. I have no idea what it's called, but it's a starchy sweet warm dessert soup with Tapioca pearls Portions are generous, ingredients have been consistently fresh and service as stated earlier has been excellent on every visit. Yes, I jacked the New-Name FTR ...Neener Neener

Beware the next your there look closely at your fork and you will see left over food caked on it. The floors is sticky from the urine in the bathroom being mopped out into the dining room. The spring roll are over price and sometimes old. I question the cleanness of this place.

eh its whatever. when i saw a bowl of pho for $7.50 i kinda felt it was a bit high in comparison to bowls of pho you can get in bolsa. Honestly, pho is pho I have yet to try a bowl of pho that makes me say wow... Its hard to understand how this place got 4 stars solid. its just pho. Nothing out of the ordinary.

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant... =) Delicious food (lots of variety) but my favorite is the Pork Chops with rice (side order: 2 eggs), and egg rolls!!! Their customer service is amazing too... quick and friendly. If you are ever in the Anaheim Hills area, check it out, you won't be disappointed.

I really wanted to like this place because it's close by but was again disappointed in my quest to find a decent pho place outside of Little Saigon. The beef was not so fresh, the subtle fragrance of spices you expect in pho was non-existent. We also ordered a rice dish. Lots of food but just nothing to rave about.

    (2)

I've been here 3 times and have tried the Pho and the Bun. Both were good. Price is decent. I have a place to fulfull my Pho craving without driving to Bolsa.

Please, oh PLEASE order their Spring Rolls! Once you do, you will be hooked and you will never want to eat at another Pho Place! The service here is great, 5 stars for that - they are so friendly and efficient and they always seem happy that you are there. I always order the Pho Tai, which has rare beef in it, and the broth that it comes in is delicious! It's different from any other Pho place I've been to - super flavorful! My husband always orders the Pho with meatballs and he loves it. Sometimes he will order a bbq chicken dish which is also very, very good. I'm afraid this place isn't getting as much love as it should, ever since the Wholesome Choice store opened up right next door. But then again, they don't sell Pho inside Wholesome Choice, so this place has a fighting chance. They even started a "happy hour" sort of service where you can get select menu items for cheaper. Go give it a shot! Best Pho in Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda area.!

  • Katherine V.

The Pho here is not my favorite but I keep coming back for one dish the garlic steak with butter rice. It is the best!!! Service is always friendly and fast. I mainly order to go and it is perfect every time. My sister and her husband like the Pho but to me it is okay so I drive somewhere else if I want Pho. Five stars for Garlic Steak minus two for the Pho.

My bro sometimes brings back the eggroll set for me after work, (awwww, isnt he sweet???) that has the fish sauce, sliced carrots, lettuce leaf and mint leaves that you roll all together and eat. its really really good. i will have to try the pho and other dishes there next time.

This place rocks! The soups are so good. When eating there I order the #33 Pho Chicken Soup with rice noodles. It's unbelievably good . The staff is friendly and sweet. The raspberry Ice tea is a must have & the vegetables are so fresh. I'm a huge fan. Long live this restaurant.

First we had the spring rolls. Decent size and build. Sauce was way too salty though. Next some pork, egg-rolls, and rice. Again decent size. Pork was again too salty. Egg-roll ate about half, not very good. The pho was just ok, not great an not terrible The problem is in comparison to the options in Westminster this place does not compare.

They are under new ownership and have changed the name again, although I can't remember the new name at the moment. Service has improved a bit. My mom loves their new broth. Personally, it is still saltier than I prefer, but not as much as before. The portions have also gotten a lot bigger. I must say, I've been impressed with the changes so far.

My husband loves this place and even though I'm not a huge Vietnamese food fan, I always enjoy what I order. We get take-out regularly and we think it's the best Vietnamese food in the area. We love the Pho and Springrolls and I like the chicken salad as well.

  • MARILYN B.

We LOVE this restaurant. We have had pho in Vietnam and Little Saigon, and none compare with the pho at Pho Vina. If you try number 37 with charbroiled chicken, you will be sold on this restaurant, too! Try the fried eggrolls as an appetizer. The friendly staff will teach you how to eat them the correct way. The food is very fresh and the pho is so tasty. We have recommened this restaurant to many friends, and it has become their favorite, too.

  • Calleigh J.

their pho is whatevers, i ate there 5 times and i'm not impressed but i'm not dissappointed either. what i mean is that the authenticity is less than 60% compared to the ones in westminster and garden grove. They "shortcut" the way they make their pho soup i guess. just doesn't seem flavorful enough....like lacking the little bit of saltiness and sweetness of the pho places that i've tried. I guess it's catered to people who don't know much about pho. And one time, i asked for a side of onions and it took me 3 times asking before i got it and by that time, my soup was getting cold. Asian service is mediocre most of the time.

This is the best Pho place I have ever been to and it is within biking distance from where I live. I go here most Friday's for lunch. The service is great, the #36 with beef is one of my favorite meals, and the dessert they give you at the end of the meal makes the entire experience.

    (5)
  • Eleanor A.

From the outside, this place looks just like another hole-in-the-wall that may serve mediocre food at best. Well, contraire my friends. This is hands down the best vietnamese food around. The pho soup is perfect for a rainy day (or any day really), and the garlic steak with buttered rice is my personal favorite. The way the meat is cooked and the seasonings get my mouth watering just at the thought of it. Seriously, next time you're in the area and in want of some awesome deliciousness, check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

This is pretty much the only place we go to for Pho. The food is pretty good the guys working there have a good sense of humor, friendly service and pretty helpful in deciding what to order. I love their beef plates there. Their dessert is kinda of weird but I love it!

    (3)
  • Nina S.

This is definitely the best pho place in the neighborhood. There are a couple others nearby, but this place definitely has them beat. The broth is extremely fragrant and tasty, and there is a wide variety of combinations to choose from. My personal fave is #27 - rare steak, brisket, and fatty brisket. Their spring rolls are also something I dream about frequently. Since I first visited two months ago I have come in at least once a week. Love it!

it says photasia outside but the menus says pho vino, and the sign on the door says, pho vino will be open on labor day... so i'll write the review for photasia. warning, their portion sizes are larger than normal. I've been to enough pho places to know. Noodles were filled to the top. plus, they're generous with their rare steak and other random meats. Its also a pretty lean broth. you don't see the oil floating around anywhere. normally, I can finish a large and a dessert drink. I took the rest of my large home and took one sip of the drink. That was a first. taste wise, the pho is slightly better than your average pho joint but the service and portion sizes really bring it up a notch. plus you get a mung bean dessert for free at the end. they ran out of red beans, which meant we couldn't order the che bau mau or the red bean dessert, but I was there at 8:15, can't really blame them for running out. I will be ordering the regular size next time though. if i'm not going out to little saigon for pho, this will be the place to go. though its still a bit far for me.

  • Kristin M.

Super YUMMY! My fiancé and I always get the crispy egg rolls, and the pho with rare beef. Not a big fan of the spring rolls, the pork in it tastes a little weird to me. The staff is very friendly...after a few times they knew what we wanted before we even sat down. When there's tons of Vietnamese people who eat here you know they must be doing something right!

my husband and I found this place while looking for nearby restaurants to order spring rolls for our wedding reception. After having gone to a few other Vietnamese restaurants in search of good spring rolls in the area, we were surprised and relieved that Pho Vina had what we were looking for and more. Their spring rolls were very delicious as well as their spicy beef dish. Since we had a large order, the owner also gave a bit of a discount too, which was great! Our guests could not stop talking about how good the beef was and kept asking where it came from! I will definitely eat here again in the future!

Hubby and I are a huge fan of this place. I think it's changed names a few times... Photasia to Oodles of Noodles and now Pho Vina. We've eaten there about 4-5x and we like to frequent other pho places in the OC/LA area. This place gives generous portions of their pho... we always note that we have ample beef and broth and we typically only order a small each. Their tofu is really yummy too as an appetizer. We're pretty much stuffed with just 1 order of pho each, and the tofu kinda of puts us over the top... in a happy food coma kind of a way :) We just went their Friday night and the total was $14! Can't beat that. The service is pretty quick and attentive. I like how there are several of waiters and they're happy to serve you at any time. This place is MUCH better than the Pho Company that used to be Pho 99 in Orange.

Love this place! My go to place for lunch when I need to escape the office. I hardly eat out for lunch and bring it from home to work just about every day, but I can never resist an offer to go to Photasia from my friends. I go at least twice a month. Their eggrolls are the best. I've never had their pho (go figure) but my friends always do and love it. I'm more partial to their vermicelli and rice dishes. The egg quiche is stellar and reminds me of my mom's cooking. If you want to try a different drink, try their pickled lemon soda. Yummmm. Very refreshing especially in the summer. And like everyone else has said...a free small bowl of dessert soup!

    (5)
  • Esther D.

we love this place. the broth is very flavorful. service is attentive. we also love their egg rolls. since i'm a dessert girl, i love how mung bean dessert is included with your meal. yummy! prices are decent too. $5.75 for a regular combo bowl of pho? not bad in my book.

    (4)
  • Julie L.

The food is a little bit different compare to the old owner. Now the eggroll is not good as before. The soup taste different too maybe too much flavor. Overall it's OK if you live in the area, otherwise go to Westminster :)

My sister was visiting from the Midwest where they've never even heard of Pho! She used to get her pho fix at Pho 99 in Orange until a fire shuttered the place. Found this place on Yelp of course and went to check it out around 1pm on a Tuesday. Crowd was light and noticed most of the customers were Asian which is a good sign. Sis ordered Number 22....the Pho Dac Biet or combo pho bowl which had rare beef, brisket, tripe, chicken, etc. She really liked it and said it was a touch spicy which is fine by her. She got 2 spring rolls on the side which I've never tried before. Interesting texture since they are served cold versus a hot egg roll. I've never been to a pho place so this was a new experience. Ordered skewered chicken with buttered rice. It was very tasty and you get alot for your money here. This entree is only $6. Service was great and the food came out less than 10 minutes after ordering it. Sis said if she could she'd probably eat here everyday! Our total bill was $22 since she ordered the LARGE bowl which she ended up taking half of it home. They brought out dessert...some sort of sweet bean mix the color of tapioca pudding. Tried it but not for me. Nearby construction has re-opened southbound Imperial Hwy so access is easy from Yorba Linda now. The waiter did indicate that the place is under new ownership so the name will eventually change to Pho Vina.

We had the following to go: Pho tai - good; Pho with tofu and vegetables - good, but had cabbage, which was a bit unusual; Crispy eggrolls - very good; Fried rice - ok, but a bit sweet. It is in a nice strip mall with easy parking. Overall, we will return.

Similar to the Vietnamese restaurants in Little Saigon, the ambiance at Pho Vina is fairly spartan, but people go here for the quality and portions of the food, not the atmosphere. One difference is that this place takes credit cards, not just cash. Pho ga is my go-to entree here, as at most Vietnamese places. However, I really like the charbroiled pork vermicelli, shrimp fried rice, passion fruit lemonade, and the smoothies, too.

  • Rebekkah C.

My Mommy Cakes' favorite! I was gonna wait til I taste their Pho to make a review, but I've had their food plenty of times that I need to let everyone know how good it is. The quality of their food is consistent. It's always fresh, delicious and affordable. I still have yet to try their Pho, but you can't go wrong with any of their rice and noodle dishes I like their -CHARBROILED BBQ PORK or BEEF. My mom loves this. It comes with either noodles or rice. You can really taste the charcoal flavor in the meat. So good! -STEAK with BUTTER RICE- The steak is super tender and goes perfectly with the butter rice. -AVOCADO SMOOTHIE- OMG! GET IT! They put avocado ice cream in it with warm honey boba, whipped cream and cherry on top. So good! -SPRING ROLLS- They are fat! You get 2 fat tasty spring rolls with rice noodle, lettuce, pork -VIETNAMESE EGG ROLLS- They are bigger than other restaurants. So tasty wrapped in lettuce then dipped in fish sauce. I always order food to go, so I don't have much to say about their customer service in the restaurant. But I can say that they always get my order right. I highly recommend this place!

This is not amazing pho--it's barely even good. They force you to go over $10 if your using a card.. And the containers they give you Pho in is not convenient at all. Over all was not impressed, nor a happy customer.

My boyfriend helped me pick up some pho cause I wasn't feeling well and decided to try this place out since it was close to us. I ordered #32 which had brisket and meatballs and my for my boyfriend a large #22. I noticed right away the broth tasted different than other pho places that I've been too. I think their seasoning is different and I can smell the cloves & star anise in the broth which was pretty good. Since I got take out for my first experience here I can't say how the food taste with the actual dine in experience. I also got a jackfruit smoothie with boba and I can tell there are good amounts of jackfruit in the smoothie which is a plus. It was nicely sweetened but the boba was on the overly soft side. Overall not bad but will try again!

Great good and service! I came here on my lunch break and they served the food really fast (~5-7 minutes). I had the bun thit nuong (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles) and there was a very good portion and was delicious. I highly recommend this place. The people were especially friendly! Definitely coming back!!

Simple but very good. Nice neighborhood restaurant that has a busy sidewalk (next to Wholesome Choice International Market) so people watching while patio dinning is enjoyable. I enjoy their egg rolls wrap and Pho. Today I had their Tofu and Broccoli Pho and my wife had the Chicken Pho good as always. Staff are helpful when ordering something I'm not familiar with, though they tend to be on the quiet side. If they see you need a refill they're their promptly other that that they leave you to your meal. A week ago I was there for a very late lunch, the staff came out for their lunch break and seemed to enjoy the food, and their own company, as much as I was enjoying mine. Enjoy!

This place is soooo good! It's my new favorite pho place by far. I ordered for myself and my sister to-go and got the following: *Rare beef pho bowl - so so good. The broth had amazing flavor and the meat, noodles, cilantro, and onions, etc were fresh and tasted equally exceptional. *spring roll - these were huge and super fresh. Great flavor and the shrimp didn't taste like it had been in the freezer until today's prep like other places do. The wrap was not at all soggy like it had been sitting around and seems like it was all assembled at the time my order was placed. *avocado shake - I was really sad that this drink would eventually come to an end, but I enjoyed every sip. The Boba also didn't taste like rubber at all and was much better quality. VERY tasty. *taro shake - equally enjoyable. My sister basically anihilated it. Also, the people here are very nice! The young girl who took my order was very polite and even offered me water while I waited for my food. The gentleman who brought me my food was also very polite. All in all I will most definitely be eating here again and recommending it. Very impressed.

I've passed by this place many times and didn't really take a second peek inside, but my sister and I were craving pho and winded up here. I'm glad we did! SERVICE: The service was friendly and super quick! But not to the point that I felt rushed. At one point a car alarm went off in the parking lot and it was so loud and annoying, but one of the workers immediately shut the door to drown out the sound. FOOD: I haven't had pho many times before, but I think this was pretty darn good by my standards. It's inexpensive as pho should be, and a small portion size is PLENTY to fill you up! My sister recommended getting the chicken on the side, which I have never heard of. It was interesting because instead of it being in the bowl, they grill it and bring it on a separate plate. It looked good but the flavor wasn't the best. I think next time I'd rather have it in my pho bowl. FORTUNE COOKIE: yummy!!

This place is eghhhh... It earned a 2-star rating because the place is really grimy. The last time I ate here one of the employees (older Asian male) kept putting his finger in his nose. I came by tonight because I was in a rush and thought I'd give it another shot. The light switch and hand dryer in the bathroom has black grime all over it.. Floors are grimy.. Even the broom next to the kitchen was black and grimy. I couldn't do it so o left. If their restaurant is this dirty where guests can see, imagine what the kitchen is like. I own a business that doesn't do food and I would never allow my bathroom to get so dirty.

I had lunch here with my niece last week. The reason for our visit was egg rolls. I had been craving them, and I had read that the egg rolls here were awesome. I also read the spring rolls were great...but we decided to order egg rolls. The egg rolls were alright. I wouldn't get them again, they were too dry for my liking, and I didn't really like the sauce with them. Since i'm not a big pho person, I ordered the garlic steak. It was fabulous!! I would definitely order the steak again. Very tender with a great flavor. The butter rice was dry and didn't have a great taste. The steak was also served with a small cup of broth, which I didn't really like. My niece had some sort of chicken dish. The chicken was meh. It was chargrilled and that was really the only flavor we picked up on, no seasoning. So, it was A-OK. I would come back for the steak and maybe try the spring rolls and see if they are better than the egg rolls. I was really hoping to find a new favorite place, sad that I didn't. Lunch was $28 for the two of us, and the service was just alright.

If you can get past the sticky tables, this place is really good! A little pricier than other pho restaurants, but that's capitalism for ya. Not much competition around. Anyways, I've only had the bun (cold noodles) with chicken and eggrolls, there. A very generous portion and the presentation is really neat (a boat-shaped platter). So generous that I'm pretty sure it can feed 2. It is really tasty and I don't think they use a lot of msg.

Staff is friendly, broth is delicious, overall this place rocks! I always get a small charbroiled chicken pho with rare steak on the side. incredible! i know everyone says this place is the best pho place in the YL AH Orange cities but i like to think it might be the cleanest tastiest pho i had in all OC including Westminster and Garbage Grove!

A favorite place to go to for lunch for my co-workers and I! The food is great, portions are generous, service is fast, and accommodations can be made to your order without the eye-rolling or a loud sigh. My usual go to order is #43 with the chicken, buttered rice, salad/veggies, fish sauce, and Vietnamese "quiche", which is really just a meatball shaped into a quiche shape.

This review is for their Vermicelli dish, which is delicious! I've had better ONCE, but it was in Chicago :( I called in #19 Charbroiled meat vermicelli with egg rolls (I got beef) to go, ran a quick errand, and picked it up. Service was friendly (for a Vietnamese place) and my food is delicious. Total was about $8.50 including tax. Totally worth it, seeing as this is easily 2 meals for me. Vermicelli was a good texture, and the charbroiled beef was flavorful with a slight crunch but not hard. The egg rolls were also good for what they are, and a nice addition to the meal, especially with the dipping sauce. The dish also came with bean sprouts, carrot slices, cucumber, lettuce and mint, as well as ground peanuts. Perfect for my random noodle craving. I'll be back. :)

Not bad for Pho near Anaheim Hills area, if you need a pho fix this is the most decent place nearby. I had the pho with everything beef, loved the broth, the place was clean and service was quick. I have also tried the spring rolls, they were freshly made and they tasted good, served with the traditional peanut sauce. The only negative comment is the broth was not very hot, usually pho is very hot and you can take a little bit of time eating it. Here is was not very hot so the overall soup was not very good toward the end of the meal.

The pho is a 5 STAR pho!!! I had the spring rolls and egg rolls, and had to go heavy on the sauce. My roommate in college is Vietnamese, so I've had some real good Vietnamese food, and use that as a comparison. I come here often, and get the pho!

4 1/2 really. Not the cleanest place I've ever been to buy the food, quality, etc. is the best I've ever had! They focus on quality of their meat and broth. I've been to probably 15-20 different pho places and I travel 25+ mins just for this place

OFFICIALLY NO LONGER A GEM. Pho Vina used to be me and my husband's favorite pho place in the North OC area. In fact, we went here so often that all of the staff recognized us and knew us as regulars. Sadly, those days are long gone. Portion sizes have continued to steadily shrink and they now barely give you any meat. At the same time, prices have been on the constant rise, which simply doesn't make any sense. Why shrink portion sizes, skimp on quality AND raise prices? Ugh, it's now $8 for a large tripe, brisket, rare beef, and tendon bowl of pho. Boo! On our last few visits, we also noticed that the broth is now especially lukewarm - almost like its been sitting out for quite awhile. On top of that, they started giving us spoiled garnishes, such as spoiled basil and super dirty-looking bean sprouts. Speaking of "dirty"... the one thing I simply can't get over is the fact that this whole place must be at least a Grade C or lower, given that it always has a noticeably grotesque smell present in the air! On top of that, the bathroom is horrific and I honestly question whether or not they actually use sanitary practices to prepare their food. Very disturbing! But WORST OF ALL... every single time I eat there (particularly if it's around 8pm), they start mopping the floor around us with smelly, reconstituted water -- which, quite honestly, makes me want to gag and throw up all over the restaurant. The smell is unbelievably strong and disgusting! I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it. Besides being a profound health code violation, this regular practice is also unbelievably rude, considering the restaurant's stated operating hours are until 9pm. Therefore, by cleaning up at 8pm, we constantly feel rushed, unwelcomed... and worst of all, DISGUSTED. Gosh, at least let me semi-enjoy my dirty, lukewarm, overpriced and tiny portioned pho in peace! I mean, isn't that the LEAST they can do?! Needless to say, I haven't been back here in OVER a year, thanks to all of the above. And...I definitely will NOT be coming back anytime soon, if ever. Do yourself a favor and find a new pho place because this place now pho-cking sucks!!!

I seriously love America. Even my vietnamese colleague working in Singapore told me that the best vietnamese food can be found in California. Same goes for Korean BBQ. The plethora of good and CHEAP ingredients in America allow internaitonal foods to be created to perfection in HUGE portions. I almost teared taking the sip into my delicious pho soup bc it's been so long that i've had an authentic pho. The noodles are thin- like all pho found here, and meat portions huge. There are better pho places in Westminister (viet town) or koreatown (clearer broth bc koreans don't like oily soups), but for Anaheim, Pho Vina does its job in providing good, hearty pho when you need it. Pho in Singapore is the worst, so avoid vietnamese restaurants here at all costs. The noodles are thick, broth greasy, with barely any meat. They also don't have siracha, the most important sauce in my book when eating pho.

Was visiting this area for work, was feeling under the weather and knew Pho would help so much. Went to Pho Vina and couldn't have been happier. Got some chicken with vegetables pho with some green tea and helped a bunch! So goood plus service was great!

Phomazing. Photastic. Great Pho and great price. We came in and the place had plenty of seats available which I like. It really hit the spot as we had an itch to get some Pho in my Belly. We came for an early dinnerish time and we noticed that there was a great food happy hour with discounted prices. It's great to see a business trying to get people in the door at all times. Service was on par with the price. Everything came out quick and fresh. Will definitely be back.

Best Pho in Orange County. I've had pho at several places in Little Saigon and it all pales in comparison to this place. Awesome service, awesome food, just plain awesomeness!!!! I highly recommend the spring rolls and pho with charbroiled beef. If you're feeling brave try an avocado shake.

No bueno.... Meaning: No Good! It started off good with the app's but then came the soup... Yuck! I can't believe people would rate this place with 4 stars. That's the last time I will believe other people's palettes.... Should of went to Pho Bistro down the street, 110% better....

I'm from NY, visiting my family out here. I kept seeing it on our way to her house. Today, I stopped in for Chicken Bun, and Vegatable Pho soup. OmG this place is so good! Fresh chicken, soup broth was yummy. I recommend this place. My family is also happy I showed them this place. Us NYers are all about cultural food. Vietnamese food is healthy and tasty. Thank you and hopefully I will make a visit again.

I love Pho Vina, it's located in Anaheim Hills..........to get a bowl of nice pho would usually take me 30 minutes to drive to Westminster. It's conveniently located by Wholesome Choice Grocery Store (love this market too, 6 middle eastern restaurants inside, Bakery, Fresh Meat and fruits & vegetables are very inexpensive), CVS, Marie Calendars and Carl's Jr....a one stop weekly for me. I love their spring rolls (absolutely delish), filet mignon cubes over rice, egg rolls, pork chops over rice, chow mein, chow fun, so many items on the menu, hard to choose but the flavor of the pho broth is so true to tasting like pho I had in Vietnam, I can't say enough about the noodle soup (pho) here, either beef or chicken or even seafood are delicious. They are very busy at lunch hour and dinner hour, not perfect in service but if you're here for food, I can guarantee you everything on the menu is above average. I live in Anaheim Hills for 20 yrs.....they have been here for 10.....if they are not as good as expected, they wouldn't have survived here. Best in Anaheim Hills and Yorba Linda area....I know these things because I am Vietnamese and would not recommend it if it wasn't true.

Best pho place in a 15 mile radius. Service can be a hit or miss on a busy night. Other than that, broth is flavorful and noodles are fresh. Portions of meat is more generous than what I have seen in nearby pho spots. They have have happy hour specials that run through 3-5 pm, I think. Some choices include a specifc type of pho combo, egg rolls, and thai iced tea.

DELICIOUS Pho! Seriously, this place never lets me down. I get the chicken pho a couple times a week and love it! PERFECT throughout and totally filling in the end. Definitely one of the BEST, and my personal favorite, in the area. *Update* Tried their chicken vermicelli and it was near perfect, chicken was so savory, noodles al dente and toppings super fresh (more would be nice, but I'm kind of a fat ass). But seriously delicious. Combined with the fact that this place has some of the BEST pho and spring rolls I've ever had, Pho Vina is one of my all time favorite restaurants in general!

Oh my lord!!!! This is my first yelp review and I'm writing it cuz this place really deserves it. Best pho I have ever had!!! The broth is seriously so delicious. And the spring rolls... Yum! I had it for the first time 3 nights ago and I've been craving it ever since. Which means, I'm going back tonight.

I finally tried this place tonight. I usually only go to Pho Bac Ky in Tustin, but after reading so many great reviews, I convinced my husband to try this place tonight. It did not disappoint. We both had the Pho Tai and the egg rolls. The pho broth was pretty good. Flavorful and soothing. We both got the large and it was quite large. The egg rolls were also pretty good. Crunchy and fresh. The service was also great! Everyone was very nice and friendly. And food came out fairly quickly. We will definitely add this to the list of our go-to Pho joints.

Pho Vina is closer to the Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills communities, so I'd say that despite the address, this is a Yorba Linda / Anaheim Hills spot. And, since these two areas are not known for having great, ethnically diverse food, Pho Vina is a winner in the area. With Vietnamese restaurants, I pretty much order one of three things: 1) raw beef pho, 2) grilled pork vermicelli, or 3) grilled pork on rice. All three of these items are top notch, and I'd say they rival quality and taste among place in Little Saigon. I hate to say it, but when you have a great bowl of raw Pho, it's hard to say what makes it better than the next place. It's either good or not good. There isn't a lot of variety that I've found in pho broth or even the quality of raw beef used, so I'd say the raw beef pho is on par with other great places. The grilled pork vermicelli is great for two reasons: 1) the grilled pork is charred to perfection, it doesn't have a lot of fat or gristle, and it's very flavorful; and 2) the sauce is the perfect amount of sour-sweet-salt. I highly recommend this dish if you don't know what to order. My wife always orders the grilled shrimp vermicelli, and it has everything the same as the grilled pork except that's replaced with shrimp. I've tried it once and it's good, but not as good as the grilled pork. The shrimp is really flavorful, but it's cooked past perfection. Service is usually quick, although it's not always consistent service. And, if you're looking for a super clean place, don't set near the windows, because someone forgot to clean up the floors and window sills the last couple of years. It's very good priced, but then again, Vietnamese food usually is. Plenty of seating, inside and out.

First time here. It's decent for Yorba Linda. Don't expect Little Saigon quality/prices. The reviews are from all the mi trangs and may that come here. Price is kinda on the high side but it seems most pho places outside of Little Saigon have jacked up their prices. Got pho tai nam and it was good. Few booths and long tables. Should have sat outside, it was hot as a beast. Maybe next time!

  • Frank S.

Awesome pho here, one of the best actually if you ask me. Very flavorful broth with depth that doesn't require you to add any sauce. Plenty of quality meat as well. You would think it's funny that a great pho restaurant is in Anaheim Hills of all places but I think I prefer the pho here over some of the popular places in Little Saigon. Have yet to try anything other than pho though and I won't be straying from it anytime soon! Pho Vina gets 4.5 stars from me! PS - They go a little overboard with onions here so if you don't want your bowl full of onions, ask them to go easy on it...

This place has the best egg roll in OC/LA. I'm a fan for Pho and has been for over 30 yrs and used to get the spring roll until my friend brought me to this place. I've been going to Pho Vina for the fried egg roll only. Just about every other place else I've been to, the egg roll is the usual larger and thicker type. Here it's just a little larger than a man's index finger. Very tasty. I would have given it a 5 star but the broth of Pho was ok, not the best I've had.

Since Sir william got me on some pho ish, I had to check this place out. I didn't even know super whiteyville had a pho spot so I was VERY curious about coming here. First night I came in for springrolls , egg rolls and wonton soup. All that food for 17 bucks HOLLA!!!! I came home and started grubbin. My mom was curious too so she tasted and liked it so much, she made herself a helping. The wonton soup was insanely good. The filling in the wontons were super tasty and flavorful. The broth was seasoned well. The egg rolls were nice and crispy and addicting. The spring rolls were very fresh and also fulfilling. I can seriously come there once a week for my springroll fix! Second visit I got the combo one pho. That came with meatball, flank, tendon, tripe and rare steak. No half steppin on the meat here! They made me fall in love with Pho phosure now!!! I ate that for dinner and lunch. Third visit, I had Sir william with me. He loved his pho MAJOR!!! He loved how they fill your bowl up with the noodles. He said most places don't give you enough noodle. I ordered the pork chops and half cornish hen dish. The cornish hen was slightly overcooked and so was the pork. Still tasty though. I'll stick to my westminster spot for my pork chops! Overall I enjoy this place and crazy how its in Yorba linda! I will be back over and over and over again :)

Its hard finding a good vietnamese restaurant around here, especially since i moved from Garden Grove. I've never actually ate in here but they are fairly nice and pleasant on the phone and always have the food ready by the time i get there. The food itself is good enough for me. I'm not vietnamese nor do I know the standards for vietnamese food, but I like the food here, and it always makes me come back. I'm not a fan of the drinks. Overall, it seems like they would have good service and the food is fairly priced and yummy.

I work around the area and decided to try this place out. I ordered a kids pho with meatballs and stir fry noodles. I was greatly disappointed. The pho broth was watered Down no flavor to it. The meatballs are always my favorite when eating Vietnamese food, they were not to my liking they were mushy and had seasoning, looked very different from what I'm used to being served. The stir fry tasted like they premade it,froze it until an order was made. Not fresh at all. The service is good. People were nice. I would have given this place 3 stars but what topped as a bad experience was the hoisen sauce.it smelled like it had gone bad. I went ahead a tasted it anyways,it was discusting. I asked if they could change it and they brought me another one which still smelled like it had gone bad.let's just say I will not be returning.

It's just like other pho place. Yet they have vegetable broth for vegetarians or for ppl who don't eat beef. I ordered seafood noodles for my mom with vegetable broth. My mom felt it was not vegetable broth. I compared mine with hers. The two soup bases taste different, so I'm assuming they did use different soup bases. The staffs there are friendly and it closes on Sundays. I felt the soup is way too salty yet I think it's common in pho no matter where u go. I usually asked for a cup of hot water to make it less salty.

I love pho...a LOT and i'm not usually picky, but I hate to say it, I think this place is definitely not a top place. Here's my breakdown of why this place lost stars: 1 star- wayyy too expensive for the amount they give, the small bowl costs what an extra large would be somewhere else. 2 star- no AC...um...yeah...Anaheim isn't exactly a cool weathered place, for being such a small restaurant, I feel like they should be able to afford some AC, at least have fans around lol! 3 star- ok, I know a lot of Asian places have people working there that don't speak English very well, that's totally fine, BUT when I say a # that's on your menu that's for one of the main dishes that is usually ordered (pho dac biet, i order it so much i can remember how to type it lol) and you still don't know what I'm asking for, kind of a problem...and no i don't have an accent lol though maybe that would've helped? Anyways, it's not a terrible place, and if you're in this area and can't get anywhere else, it's fine. But I think it'd be worth it to just drive a few more miles to the Jamboree area and get pho there, probably cheaper for more food.

Whenever I go to a pho restaurant, I always order a pho with all the meats possible and egg rolls. I would say this is the best pho in Anaheim and Yorba Linda. I am not Vietnamese so I'm not an expert but this is the place I go back to for some pho!

1st time trying Pho! Checking this spot out based on friends recommendation, I'm sick as heck! So let's hope the pho does the truck! Super friendly staff by the way! They had a ton of people working and everyone seemed to be pretty attentive and making sure I was ok or had been helped. Like seriously 6-8 people working! I wasn't feeling adventurous enough to try the Special Combo Pho, but maybe next time! I ordered the rare beef, well done brisket and flank steak and added extra lime and sriracha. So, I am seriously embarrassed and a little ashamed that it has taken me this long to try Pho! I've been missing out on what I think may be the best "sick" meal or hangover cure available! I am excited to continue my Pho adventures! I think Pho Vina was a pretty good start! Thanks for introducing me to something new and delicious!

Like this place a lot. Their shaking beef dish (can't remember what it's called here but you know the dish if you like Vietnamese food) is Delish and good portion. Pho is good and spring rolls are also very good. Very inexpensive and nice staff. We stop by often.

Great food. I would like more seafood since its $8. And less noodles. But generally speaking how can you mess noodles up. Good combination. There is only like 8 to 9 pieces and fake crab meat. 3 pieces of shrimp, 3 of fish balls and 3 fake crab.

So today I really needed some Pho and decided to go to Pho Vina. It's in a pretty high traffic shopping center in Anaheim. I found parking pretty close to the restaurant and walked in. I was quickly seated, table for ONE! Anyway I always get the Pho Tai whenever I go get pho so it wasn't hard to order. The ambiance of the place is clean and because I was there at lunch there was quite a few people there for lunch. My food came so quickly which was definitely a plus! All in all the food was decent and since i got the large it had a bunch of meat which was great too! The only thing I really have to complain about is the fact that there was a lady talking way TOO loud. Not cool. Anyway since there is a minimum charge of $10 for credit cards I also ordered a vietnamese milk coffee which was pretty delicious! So all in all I spent $12 with tip Food = Decent Ambiance = Clean This place is A-OK

Great for soup. Busy place. Friendly staff. Personally I'm not a fish lover, so the broth for me was a little too fishy, but it was good otherwise. Very filling and generous portions. The small bowl will fill you up! Haven't tried the tea, but I will make my way back to try some.

My absolute favorite pho. And the egg rolls omnomnom. This place gets super busy around lunchtime. The lines out the door so come before or after that if you don't want to wait. The pho broth is to die for and their Thai Ice-T is pretty good too! Service can be really good depending on who's working but it's never bad...

    (5)
  • Mike P.

Pho was really good....from there things went south. Noodle and rice dishes were cooked in a bad choice of oil. Springs rolls were bland. Also the bean sprouts served with the pho had begun to brown.

  • Tony L.

Pho #24 well done brisket large with crispy egg rolls will hit the spot every time. The only Pho place near Anaheim Hills that is worth it. If you're in the mood for some hot Vietnamese soup! This is the place. They are not open on Sundays so that's a bummer. But it's a nice place to go for lunch or pick up for dinner. Not as good as the places in Westminster or Los Angeles. But it's worth it if you need to get your Pho fix.

Me and my fiancé have been looking for a good pho place close to home for awhile and we have found it here. The service is decent, they're there to serve you bit not overly friendly and the food is fresh. The chicken spring rolls are moist and the peanut sauce is really nice. (They didn't just dish up some peanut butter for you like some places). The pho is served in the perfect size bowl, it's not too big. The broth isn't heavy and a little on the lemony side. I wasn't too impressed with the charbroiled meat for the pho. The flavor was okay but the meat texture with the soup was way off. We also got the melon boba shake. Heavy milky melon favor. Everything we ordered was a 4/5. They also offer a happy hour Monday they Thursday 3pm to 5pm

Good broth. The large was a little smaller than what I had expected but tasty. Great pork spring rolls and Vietnamese egg rolls. There was a bit of a communication issue and they brought the wrong item for one of us even though it was ordered correctly. Not a big deal because it was good. Don't go for the ambiance; it's a small cafeteria with a large TV in the middle.

Friendly service and phenomenal food! I always get Pho Dac Biet and the broth is excellent. Good quality meat is used as well. The egg rolls and spring rolls are great!

Used to live nearby, now I can only go occasionally. They do a fantastic job of making great pho in the Anaheim Hills / Yorba Linda area. I usually get the charbroiled beef, which is delicious, but I kind of like everything. The spring rolls are a hidden gem.

Best Vietnamese place in Yorba Linda/Anaheim boarder area. Lightning quick service, which is exactly what you would expect from a good Vietnamese spot. Authentic well made delicious dishes. Not only is it good by YL/A standards but it's as good as you would find at any spot in Westminster/Garden Grove. Very well priced/boarder line cheap! All in all, if you want good Vietnamese food and you're a local then this is the spot to go.

Always good quality pho when I visit here. Pho w/ flank (#24) was delicious. Nice broth, generous portions (their smaller size is filling for lunch), fresh produce make for a great meal. Vietnamese egg rolls were yummy, served with lettuce, mint, cilantro, rice noodles etc. Spring rolls also quite tasty. Everything very fresh. Service was quick. My go-to place for a pho fix!

The food is great but I love the customer service above all!!! Even during busy hours the servers don't seem to miss a beat and always try to provide the best service possible. I also like the fact I don't have to go to Westminster to get some great Vietnamese food.

I went here last week with a friend for a birtday lunch for the first time. The service here was excellent. This was the shortest wait time I experienced at a sit down restaurant. The food was perfect and the staff was friendly and efficient. I'm definitely coming back!

Great restaurant! Even though it's small, but the noodles are delicious! So are spring rolls.

I was craving bun and was so far away from Golden Deli, so he decided to take me here. He got the pho with steak and thought it was alright. I got my vermicelli with pork and eggrolls. The pork was flavorful, the noodles were easy to eat (I'm shoving bean sprouts and fresh mint in my mouth at Golden Deli), and the egg rolls were alright. Service was quick and efficient and inviting. I liked it, but not sure if I'd come again.

The perfect place to satisfy your craving for some Pho. This place is traditional and not one of those trendy/glamorous Pho joints. That being said, you will definitely have your craving satisfied for some good Pho! The pricing is great $6-$9 and they have all the favorites on the menu. I also love their chicken fried rice, its a huge portion and REALLY tasty. I have tried their milk tea before and my coworkers usually get some avocado shake, I haven't had the guts to try it yet but I'm working on it! Overall a great, quick place (even when they're busy) to get your craving met.

I love Pho, and find it differs greatly from place to place. The broth is not as good as some places but they are very generous with the vegetables. My son loves his also.

I've been to several pho places in Orange County and this is easily my favorite. The broth is amazing - so flavorful! They give you the perfect amount of meat and noodles.

Been going here since I was young. Vietnamese Family Owned, Has about 10 booths and 10 small tables that can be combined to accommodate larger groups. Max group recommended: 10 people. Menu: Pho, Rice, and Dry Noodles( Bun) I give the Pho 4/5, defiantly the best of any of the pho places in the city,( there are not many). It's the rice dishes that keep me coming back, Try the Chicken & Rice ( Com Ga Roti) the sauce is amazing! They also have your average Vietnamese Deserts, coffee, and a common boba/ drink selection. Price: Average, $7-9 for your average dish, $2-3 for your boba and deserts, and the standard free refills on soda, water, and tea. Cleanliness: 4/5, have never found grime on any utensils, requested scissors or knives come I'm cups of boiling water, bathroom is well kept. Service: 4/5, all of the servers speak English, some of the bussers don't, but all are extremely friendly and do their jobs well. the 4-5 visible staff can become strained when handling a full room of 25 people, so I'd avoid Dining in on Friday and Saturday nights.

It's good pho, not the best I've had, but solid. I go there the most often for pho.

Very friendly service. Location just outside a strip of shops with plenty of parking. Decor is plain, simple and clean. Ordered Pho Dac Biet and several other items to-go. Very quick response, and food was packaged well. Soup was darker than usual but very good strong flavor...but a bit on the sweet side. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Plenty of meat which was all cooked correctly. Meatball was not very good though. Overall B for food and A+ for service. Would definitely return, since not many choices within the area for Viet food.

  • Heather H.

The pho is pretty decent. I really enjoy their chicken with it. It's hard to communicate with the workers though, since they speak limited English. My husband orders off the food menu and is usually disappointed though.

Had a small pho with rare beef. They are generous with the meat and the broth is flavorful. It's not overly greasy and they are not heavy handed with the cilantro with I appreciated as someone who always asks for no cilantro and forgot this time. I highly recommend the ice tea! For $1 you get more than you need and man, it's the best ice tea I've ever had!

We were looking for a Pho place close to home, and decided to try Pho Vina based on their Yelp reviews. I ordered the cooked beef pho, and my boyfriend got the rare beef. We both ordered the large portion, and definitely could not finish it. As a bonus I took the rest home and had lunch the next day. Flavors were pretty mild, and the pho broth bland, but adding in all the mixings and a touch of the hot sauce gave it a nice kick.

Literally this is the only place I will eat Pho in Anaheim Hills, let alone in Orange County. Maybe all the flavors mixed together are just perfect for my taste buds, but I literally have never had better Pho in Orange County. Plain and simple, I will be returning! If you are looking for Pho and don't have time to drive all the way out to... well wherever the best Pho places are in SOCAL then go here. :)

Now I'm definitely not an expert when it comes to pho, but me tilting the bowl to get almost every drop of soup from the bowl tells me my belly liked it. My favorite part though was the slightly chewy rice noodles. The not so good part was the broth wasn't very hot when it was served and the brisket was a little off tasting other then that a pleasant experience for only$6.75 total, and yes if I were in the area again I would definitely return. Some of the dishes I noticed on the way out looked amazingly good.

    (4)
  • James C.

The pho here is delicious. I usually get the traditional pho dac biet, but from time to time I may indulge on some cornish hen or diced steak with rice. Both of those last two dishes are to die for, but not taking away from the fact that their pho is absolutely satisfying. I've been coming to this pho restaurant since before when they were Photasia/Oodles o Noodles. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for pho in the area!

If you don't live in Westminster or Garden Grove, and don't feel like dealing with the crappy parking for pho restaurants in those areas, then you might do well to come on over to this restaurant, which is on the North side of La Palma near the Imperial Highway exit off the 91 Freeway. Very convenient to those living in Placentia, Yorba Linda and the Anaheim Hills areas. The pho was okay, but I wouldn't say the broth was anything to write home about. My only complaint was that the thinly sliced steak was almost pale. In fact, I've been noticing the formerly dark red "steak" that I get in my pho has been looking "paler" in the Honolulu pho restaurants as well. Does anybody have the scoop on this trend ? Is it a different part of the cow that the meat is coming from these days? Do cows not have as much blood circulating any more? Could I be going color blind? Are all my colors running dry? Please someone tell me what's going on! Inquiring minds need to know!

Ok so I was utterly disappointed I took two bites of my pho (which is arguably my favorite food on earth) and had to go next door to flame broiler. i'm very surprised by the 4 star overall rating. I ordered the Pho Tai and thought the broth and noodles had a very odd vinegary/sweet smell and taste, no limes in sight... And just a bad experience. Looks like I'll be continuing to get my pho from Westminster and surrounding areas not A.H. On a side note my gf was happy with her dish but she get a dry vermicelli dish... Oh ya there was a bone in there too overall a 1 star...the Vietnamese side of me was not happy!

Been here for lunch before and it was good. However, today I just found some type of bug in my bowl of phò. Won't be visiting this place again. I thought the place looked rather dirty.

First, I would like to say that I am NOT Vietnamese, and therefore, I cannot compare any Vietnamese food item to what authentic Vietnamese food should taste like. One more thing, three stars shouldn't stop you from going somewhere. Alright, so my boyfriend and I are BIG fans of Pho. Since I live in the area, and this place had great ratings on Yelp, we decided to give it a shot. So, overall the food (we ordered the Combo Pho, and Egg Rolls) was really good! One of the main reasons why I can't give two more stars to Pho Vina is that the service was not the best. It took the waiter a whiiiiiile to get back to us after seating us. He was mainly preoccupied with finding the right football game streaming link (they have a big widescreen monitor that they use as a TV), and greeting guests walking into the door. The next reason why it's a 3/5, is that although the pho was tasty and had all the right elements, it tasted like every other pho restaurant I've been to. It didn't stand out, to say the least. BUT that won't necessarily stop me from returning to Pho Vina. :) Until next time, Nicole.

I haven't tried their pho yet (and I will update my rating/review if I do), but I did have some com tam. It was decent, a little on the pricey-er side of Vietnamese cuisine (not as pricey as Phan55 in Fullerton! @_@). The clear sauce (nuoc mam) you pour over the rice was way too sweet for my taste, but if I'm in that area again, I might try the pho if I get the munchies for Vietnamese food. It's rare though, I usually prefer the food in Little Saigon and I'm usually willing to drive out there, but sometimes you just get too lazy LOL. A-OK.

I actually don't understand why more Pho places don't offer BBQ pho like Pho Vina does. They already got the broth, got the noodles, got the BBQ meats they're gonna pile high should you order a bánh mì sandwich or the cold noodle bún, so why not play around with the ingredients a bit? To my knowledge, Pho Vina is the only pho place around that does this and I must admit, I love the results! That is definitely our go-to order here :)

  • Jenny N.

For a 'pho' joint in Anaheim Hills, this place is decent. I like their pho tai. If you like rice you should try their grilled chicken with buttered rice.. YUMMY!

might need a lil help on their customer service but i guess you shouldn't expect it with most vietnamese spots lol yum yum in my tum tum i'm talking about the eggrolls, golden crisp shrimp , and their pho they are not definitely not stingy with the meat love it :)

I guess the reviews must be skewed because it's one of the few pho joints in the area, but this place is over hyped. I went with some buddies after playing golf in the area. It was totally packed at lunch time, which is always a good sign. Tables are all butted up next to each other, so you'll be eating cafeteria style if you don't get a table by the window. Took 15 minutes to take our order, another 20 minutes for our food. Come on! It's pho - takes like 5 minutes to make. When we got it, we were pretty underwhelmed. Soup was bland, noodles overcooked. They forgot our Cha Gio and didn't bring the spring rolls til after we were all done. My friend commented that he was going to open a Yelp account just to slag on this place. Well I've saved him some time. :)

Came here with my Fiancee's family. It was her mom's birthday and she was craving Pho. I've been to quite a few of these places. And this place is A-OK. As the rating says I suppose. Nothing too fancy, nothing too shabby. It has the same menu as some of the other pho places I know that don't share the same name. I think it's a conspiracy. The food was average. Decent, not stellar. To me though it's hard to mess up soup and noodles. The add-ins were nice and fresh. The bean sprouts, cilantro, and green peppers were fresh and crispy. One thing I did have a complaint with is that they didn't have any Hoisen Oyster Sauce. What?? This was the first Pho restaurant I knew of that didn't have it. I don't think we bothered with requesting it. But they had something that really darn sure looked like Hoisen but wasn't as sweet. Weird. Food was ample, and the difference between the large bowl and regular bowl is pretty big. Some of the actual entrees are pretty big as well. Neighborhood is pretty good. If you're looking for something different to have before a movie or something. Enjoy.

The pho here is a bit bland for my taste buds. I haven't tried the rice dishes yet, but looking at pictures alone, it passes my test. Great customer service. Will definitely come back to try all items.

Stay away from the salad. It's floating in dressing. Rolls were ok. I'll go back and give the pho a shot before counting it out.

Anaheim Hills really doesn't have a lot of options for Pho, Thai or similar authentic foods. So, I may be rating Pho Vina a little high but for the area, it's worth it. There are other local spots to go for Pho but they are pretty bad and just not acceptable for my standards. However, if I want great Pho, I'd have to drive to far and it's not really a dinner spot for me so if I'm craving it and want to stay close to home, this is where I'd go. We had Pho, Fried Rice, Spring Rolls & various drinks. My kids are really into the dessert drinks. I like their variety and the food's good. Pricing standard for the area too.

  • Taylor T.

I've been here a few times now and it's the best pho place around Anaheim! The pho broth is flavorful and the meat to noodle ratio is spot on! My only gripe would be that they are too efficient. The last time we were here, we ordered egg rolls and it came out quick but our pho came out a minute later. We didn't get a chance to eat our appetizer because we didn't want the noodle to get cold! Also, sometimes the music is blaring too loud. Aside from those issues, love the food and the service. We'll definitely be back.

Went here again a couple nights ago and spent almost $20 on food. Finally tried the Pho. That's some good stuff! What really blew me away though was their baby arm sized, crazy delicious meat spring rolls. Yummmmmy!!! oh my gaaaaawd. LoL. Seriously the best spring roll I have ever eaten.

I liked Pho 2012, but wanted to be fair and give Pho Vina a chance...sooooo happy I did! We are so lucky to live close! This will be our regular Pho joint, for sure! Their broth is amazing!! I had the egg noodles and everyone else had pho. Delicious!!!!

For some reason the wifey and I had low expectations for this place. Turned out to be one of the better pho places I've been to. I came here a lot because I lived right behind the shopping center. I'm a creature of habit, so all those times I always ordered pho tai bo vein (rare steak and meatballs). Pho's pho, so there's not much to talk about there, but the broth here tasted real and authentic, not like it came from a Swanson box. Not that I've ever seen a Viet dude dump Swanson in a bowl, but you get the point. Oh yeah, this place serves complimentary che (viet dessert) with your order, so that's a plus if your into that.

  • Chris S.

The food and drinks were good, and the resteraunt was great. I keep hearing from all the foodies on here that Westminster is THE place to go for Vietnamese. But when I read all the reviews for that area, most of the resteraunts seem to have ratings like "5 stars for food, but be prepared to elbow grandmas in line, eat in the bathroom, and not be served.... oh and the other customers are as equally rude as the staff, so bring a switch blade" So, this place is good, AND it is a normal resteraunt with a nice indoor/outdoor dining spots and friendly staff. I don't care how much better pho can be if I have to elbow grandmas and and be an Ahole to get it. They have a log of boba drinks to choose from as well. Spring rolls are pretty good. We are still looking for our absolute no question knockout pho house, but this one is a great start, we will be returning for sure.

If you've ever eaten vietnamese food at an authentic vietnamese place, you will be severely disappointed here. The soup is on the sweet side and I think they add in vinegar to try and counteract it. Basically, the broth doesn't have the authentic "pho" taste. A large bowl of pho costs $7, but is about the same amount as a normal sized bowl of pho that you can buy at any pho restaurant in Garden Grove or San Gabriel. The second time I came here, I ordered the cornish hen with buttered rice (one of my favorite childhood vietnamese dishes). The hen was a bit dry, and the marinade they used was a bit sweeter than the norm. The servers are polite and prompt with orders. The one saving grace of this place was their thai iced tea. Any place with good thai iced tea is a gem for me, since I am really picky about it. Only reason I'd go back here is for the thai tea.

  • Thu N.

So far, so good. I didn't order pho here. I mean, I figured I'm committing a culinary sin anyway by eating outside of Little Saigon, so why not? Well..I ordered Ga Roti (Hen with butter rice), and I would argue that it's just as good as Tai Buu's down in Little Saigon. That's pretty effin impressive considering this is located somewhere between doo-doo and poo-poo aka Anaheim Hills/Yorba Linda...planets away from decent restaurants. Their Sin To Bo (Avocado drink) was okay, but it could've used about a cup of sugar. Cliffs Notes: Ga Roti-- 4 STARS ($7.00) Sinh To Bo- 3 STARS ($2.50) Comment: If you work/live out in Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills, it's worth checking out. If you don't, stay where you are...I beg you.

I was surprised that there even existed a Vietnamese restaurant in Anaheim Hills, but this restaurant definitely caters to their Caucasians customers. Broccoli in their Pho? Really? Anyway, I actually ordered the Eggs rolls with rice noodle dish. I was very disappointed. And the nuoc mam was soooo bland like watered down fish sauce. They are cheap though.

  • Tellsplatte ..

My review is only based on my limited experience here while visiting the area. I had Pho and a mango bobba. Pho noodle was undercooked in comparison to most other pho places I've been to. Overall, it was a decent, but the bobba was terrible. It tasted like sweetened paint. I donno how else to describe it. I threw it away.

3 stars for A-OK. They do put a nice touch on their Thai iced tea with some whipped cream and a cherry which I thought was cute. Had the seafood egg noodle. Basically ramen noodles with a little bit of seafood and green onion. I added bean sprouts, mint, lime juice and sriracha so it would be more like pho. Btw, beware the shrimp spring rolls have pork in them. Even after we told the server I don't eat pork or beef, he failed to tell us there was pork in the spring rolls. It was too late until I chewed, and looked inside. I didn't think it would be appropriate to spit it back out so I just swallowed it after not having eaten meat for almost 3 years!

Excellent service, excellent food. The place is clean, fast, reasonable and won't leave you hungry. My kinda place. Even my wife who doesn't like Vietnamese food thought it was pretty good. The only drawback is it is about 5 miles from my home which is kinda far to make it our regular Pho place. Hmmm...

Outside the Westminster area it's hard to find a good vietnamese place to eat. I was so glad to find that I didn't have to drive 30 minutes to get my pho fix. Pho vina has great food. I usually get the pho with rare beef, which is really good. Even my 4 year old eat's their pho. They have a kids size and it only comes with noodles. I think it's about $4. I also get the egg rolls. This is offered as an appetizer, but it's enough to fill you up. It comes with fried egg rolls that you wrap in fresh lettuce and can add pickled carrots, bean sprouts, noodles, and the sauce. I think it's only $5. I have yet to try the rest of the menu, but I have a feeling anything you get here will be great. My brother is a culinary student and is picky about his food but even he would highly recommend this place. My only negative critique would be that it could be kept a little cleaner, but we usually get take-out so it's not that big a deal. You also have an option of sitting outside, which is perfect for a nice day.

  • Trissia W.

have missed this place cuz I was eating the same food at a nearby shopping center and now I go out of my way to get here. The white meat chicken pho comes with way too much chicken, which is just the right amount. I've eaten vermicelli at many places and again pho vina gives a large portion of meat, favorite combo is shrimp and pork. Mostly eat here for pho and have tried shrimp, roasted pork (YUM), roasted chicken, white meat chicken, and seafood. They are all fresh and good. a little confusing cuz the sign outside now says Pho Vina but the name here is the old name.

My boyfriend and I went here the other night, first of all, our bad for getting there at 8:30 p.m. (they close at 9) but we still had enough time to scarf down our pho and vietnamese egg rolls (YUM!). We got two small orders of Pho Tai (rare beef) and an order of the egg rolls. The eggs rolls came first, wrapped them up in some lettuce, threw some cucumber and rice noodles on it with a little sauce/dressing and into our bellies they went. YUM. Next came the pho, broth was pretty good, had an interesting aroma to it, couldn't put my pho-finger on it, but it wasn't off-setting or anything. Noodles were cooked well. Service was quick and speedy, like any other Pho joint. I'd say, give it a try its pretty good. Update: I've since visited this place about once a week : ) It's pretty good and it's always busy! I've gotten shrimp and rare beef and just plain pho with broccoli on the side. Always good. My boyfriend would get the well done brisket, and it's delicious. We always ask for light noodles, since we get so full. We have also found the broth to be a lot better without much hoisin sauce, so go lighter on the hoisin to enjoy the broth, just my opinion. Btw, the owners or employees are huge Laker fans!

4 Stars: Pho-licious! This place has changed names a few times, but don't hold that against them. The service is always pleasant and the pho is fresh and plentiful. They also serve great bobas and egg rolls. We've eaten here dozens of times over the last several years and have never had a bad experience. Tasty, clean and friendly.... it's as simple as that!

I'm so glad I found a pho place close to my house. As soon as I opened the container and the strong anise smell came out, I knew it was going to be good... and it was. I came on a random Monday during lunch and the place was super packed. The only minus are the hours. I've come countless number of times to find the place closed, or just about to close. I wish they'd stay open later on weekends and make it into a cute hang out spot.

When it was pouring on Saturday, we thought pho would make a perfect meal so we jumped on Yelp to find the best one. We ordered egg rolls, which were crispy and yum, and I got #27. The well done brisket was a bit chewy and the soup had onion flavor to it (I'm not an onion fan), but tasted ok. I enjoyed the mung bean dessert at the end. The service was prompt.

If you want GREAT Vietnamese food MINUS the drive to (and crazy drivers) Westminster/Bolsa, eat here! The GOOD: So glad there is a decent Vietnamese Pho place in Anaheim! The food is yummy, prices are cheap and service is great. I usually order the Pho Tai Large. Broth is hot and TASTY. The portions are more than enough! Eggrolls and rice dishes with bbq pork are DELICIOUS too! They also have HAPPY HOUR with 50% drinks and desserts. The most we've ever spent here was about $25 with tips and tax. My BF and I were HUNGRY that day or something. We had an order of "Pho Tai" large, a rice dish with bbq pork, egg quiche, shrimp skewers, and eggroll appetizer with 2 "soda chanh" (which is their club soda, lemon and sugar; simple but very refreshing and complements the meal). The BAD: Nothing really bad to write about. The place is like any other Vietnamese pho place. Could be cleaner I guess. Oh and sometimes, they blast trance/rave music which can be annoying. My TWO CENTS: LOVE it! Always happy and satisfied after eating here. Maybe unhappy sometimes because I over-stuff myself and feel like a cow. Haha. Cheap, fast and oh so GOOD! On a funny note, this establishment has changed their name like 3 times from Oodles of Noodles to Photasia and now, most recently, Pho Vina. So the big sign in green says "Photasia", the windows has the name "Oodles of Noodles and the menus say "Pho Vina". Hahaha. Still love them.

Family eats there at least weekly. Cannot get Viet food anywhere else around here. Good thing it's good. The ga xie (chicken appetizer) is righteous. My Vietnamese wife raves about their pho broth. This place has a different broth for different kids of pho. That is, you aren't buying chicken soup made out of beef broth, a peeve of my wife's.

The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the decor is not that nice. It looks a little like a high school cafeteria. But I always order the pork vermicelli with egg roll. The servers are very quick and friendly. The food is very fresh and the proportions are big.. Much bigger than pho 2012 1 block over. The prices are reasonable. I spend about $12 which includes the meal and drink and tip. I go here about three times a month. Highly recommend if you are wanting a good meal and not particular about a fancy atmosphere.

You know how you can tell if a Mexican restaurant is going to be good or bad just by the taste of their chips and salsa? Well that's how I feel about Vietnamese restaurants and their spring rolls. Pho Vina did not disappoint! In my opinion, their spring rolls were just as good as Brodard. So immediately, I had a great feeling about this place. My wife works near here and she gets their Pho all the time and loves it. It was a hot day, so I wasn't feeling "soupy." I opted for the vermicelli with the BBQ pork and shrimp. Yummy! It was definitely tasty and I was not disappointed! I will definitely back!

This is the first Pho place that I can guarantee coming back to. It's clean, the service is fast, efficient, CHEAP (on prices, not quality) and friendly! And the food.... MmmMmMmMMmm! I got Garlic Steak & butter rice & I was blown away because it was actually really good. They also gave me a ton of salad, and real veggies that were sauteed with the meat. It just all tasted deeeeelicious. I'm very impressed. I'm holding off on the 5th star because I want to try their pho first. According to my brother in law the broth was really good, but I have to try it to believe it! But I'll have to agree with my nephew- Their "lellow rice" is very good, and I recommend anyone checking Pho Vina (no more photasia/oodles of noodles according to the waiter) out!

I first wrote this review when I first started eating here. At the time, I came by myself and I think I was overlooked and this contributed to my less than stellar ranking for the place. Since that time last year, this is now my #1 choice for my kids after sports practice. Service is great and the food is very good and reasonable. We have had the pho, garlic steak, spring rolls, crispy noodles, fruit milkshakes - just about everything on the menu and the quality and taste are all very good. THE best Vietnamese restaurant was Pho Republic which closed down almost 2 years ago. Since then, it has been hard to not make a comparison to Pho Republic for every pho place that I have been to. I am happy to say that Pho Vina is worthy of the comparison and is of the same excellence. We are very happy to have Pho Vina in our neighborhood!

In the midst of chains like KFC, Innout, Subway, Togos, who would have ever expected such a tasty place in this side of the 91??? Not me that's for sure. As we walked in, we were greeted by two servers. Our server was incredibly happy and friendly. It says something about the establishment when you feel that the people really are thankful that you chose to step foot into their restaraunt. They have quite a bit of selection here from your normal pho, noodles, rice, steak, chicken, and all the good stuff. I opted for a small everything pho. YUMMY! At first the bowl looks rather small but that's because it has less broth than other places. BUT BUT BUT... they jam packed that sucker with as much meat as possible. Tendon, tripe, brisket, rare steak, beef ball, etc. So much that I said, I'm never ordering this again because it's just too much meat! Am I weird? But it was good. For hubby and I they gave us a very very generous plate of sprouts, basil, lime, and jalepenos. All their stuff was fresh. The broth itself was full of flavor and beefines, which I likey a lotty. We tried to order a 3 color bean drink, but they were out. Then we tried for red bean drink. They were out again. Then we found out that they had no drinks with any type of beans. They were really apologetic that those two were not available. We didn't mind that we couldn't try it because we knew we would be back again. So we opted for a grass jelly drink with milk that was quite tasty and refreshing. They have happy hour from 3pm-5pm M-F. 50% off drinks and desserts. Perhaps that's why they had no more bean drinks. If I didn't have work I'd probably try to make it. After we finished our pho, we got a mung bean tapioca dessert. Wow! I never ever expect free dessert at a vietnamese restaurant. AND to top it off... it was good. Not watered down at all. I really, REALLY enjoyed it. Altogether, I would have to say that I had a very positive experience at this restaurant. Service is excellent, pho is good, and they have a great selection. YIPPY!

This was mine and my daughters first time trying Pho. We came here based on the yelp reviews. It was very delicious. Our server was very nice, a decent crowd for a raining Saturday lunch.

My girlfriend suggested this place for lunch. I've only been here once, so my review may be a little biased. But whatever. I had the charbroiled chicken salad, and it's THE best salad i've ever had in my life! The chicken is amazing and seasoned just right. And they put the ever-addicting hoison sauce right on the table, so you have to put that shit on everything. I know i did. My friend got Pho w/ meatball and she devoured it. I didn't get a chance to taste it b/c she scarfed it down before I could even ask!! But it looked yummdiddlyupciouss!!! I know i'll be back, cuz i've heard a lot of good things about the spring rolls. So i think I'll go there again and try it out. This place really opened up my mind to trying new foods from different cultures. I would've never tried Vietnamese food if it wasn't for my friend, and I'm glad I did! It's really good.

The place needs a bit of a face lift and a good cleaning... I think I would have had a better impression of this place if someone had brought me a bowl to go....the Pho with rare beef and chicken was pretty tasty but after half a bowl (yes, I know the large wasn't the appropriate size choice) I just felt uncomfortably full and kinda queasy...people really seem to like this place so I don't think it was because something was wrong with the food. I think i just ate too much. Maybe if I go back I will order a small and eat half. The large just seems like such a good valu

Living in Yorba Linda its tough to good pho...sorry..ANY pho at all. Usually a trip to GG, Westminster or L.A only fulfills my fix. But this place actually did the trick. Agreed with a few that the portions a little small and the broth not quite top notch, but all in all good Pho! In addition to their pho, I must say that their diced beef steak and onions are amazing. Get it with a side of salt and lime and your in for a treat for sure. Have been back and experience great consistancy. Check em out if your local to the place.

I think Pho Tasia is suffering from some sort of identity crisis. This place USED to be Oodles of Noodles. How do i know that? Besides the fact that i used to come here when they were still O.N., the windows of the restaurant still say so. Sure, they've corrected that with the new sign above the store, but...then...the menus read "Pho Vina." Pho Tasia, Oodles of Noodles or Pho Vina, for a place far far away from little Vietnam (Garden Grove/Westiminster/Bolsa/Little Saigon), you're actually pretty good. I'm not exactly sure if they got new owners, but some of the employees are still the same people. The Pho Tai Gan is pretty good and so is their mi thap cam. I have yet to try the other things on the menu, but from the looks of it, it's the same exact menu from the oodles of noodles days (just with a different name!) The Pho tastes legit, not that watered down, attempt to make pho crap...and they don't skimp on the meat either! Service is pretty decent and the fact that it saves me a 25 minute drive to Little Vietnam and about 15 mile drive, I'm sold! :)

This place has solid Vietnamese food for great prices. I usually get take-out, and the food gets prepared very quickly. This is a reliable place to get a cheap, tasty, quick meal.

I am totally ordering the marinated steak! Forget the fact that I am a vegetarian, kinda.... sorta...sometimes... We ordered the egg rolls, which came with lettuce and julienned strips of radish and carrots, marinated with somethin' that makes it sweet, salty and sour all at the same time. (probably with a bit of fish sauce.) I wrapped a piece of the steak - totally overcooked, but still tender, smoked, and yummo - inside the lettuce and added a bit of the radish and stuffed it all inside my mouth - HEAVEN. Try it!!!!!!!!!! My son ran into his best friend, who was with his family. During the whole dinner, they just looked at each other & didn't say anything to each other but a shy hi. How odd boys are!

This place is a pretty good Vietnamese restaurant that I go to a couple times a month for lunch. The waiters are the best part of this place. They joke around and teach us Vietnamese sometimes, they're also really fast and friendly. I really recommend the noodle dishes and the new dish of kung pao chicken is pretty tasty too. I always have a boba thai iced tea to compliment the food. It's very cheap, fast and pretty great for Vietnamese food. You can't go wrong at Photasia/ Phovina.

My favorite vietnamese restaurant (= FOOD HERE ROCKS. This place has theee besst Pho ever! (and I'm no stranger to Westminster/Bolsa) Food is really cheap either. I think from like 3-6 PM M-F a bowl of Pho and a soda is only 4.99? And any appetizer is like 3 bucks. It's their "Happy Hour" or something. Really awesome! Also the staff is super friendly and bring you this awesome desert afterwards..like this warm stuff with tapioca beads? Don't really know how to explain it.

This is my favorite pho place. It's big but cozy enough. The menu has more than pho-- for my picky mom they had a chicken and rice plate. The egg rolls are fantastic. The tofu pho is well-textured and full of vegetables. They also have the flavor sauces at every table, which some other pho places don't have. The servers are friendly and the store owner makes good, funny conversation with everyone during the slower hours. He's also willing to answer questions; my mom, who is new to Asian food, had to ask about the carrot sauce and the tapioca ball dessert (which they give for free every time you go there) and the people she asked were eager to educate her. I feel very welcome there.

I tried this Vietnamese place recently because I shop at the Middle Eastern market next door quite often....The food was just "ok" in my humble opinion. The waiter that waited on me had a good personality but a VERY dirty polo shirt, also he was very sweaty to boot. The food came and I thought the meat looked "kind of old".....ordered some drink concoction of a dried/salted plum with lemonade...needless to say I left about 3/4 of the drink on the table. My overall experience was "2 stars worth"....would NOT go back again.....
