It's one of the few places in this town, where I know whatever I order wether it be a large chamoyada or chilly one juice to a torta or taquito plate, it's going to be delicious, fresh and healthier than other Mexican restaurants. Cancun Juice has the red orange salsa that has that smoked chilli pepper taste and the green salsa that I can't even describe but it's so good. I'm going to go out on a limb and say their salsa is better or up there with King Taco's. What I like and suggest is that you order your food before you get there because there's usually a long line at all times of the day and night. I've gotten their chilaquiles to go and that was amazing as well as their taquito plate at lunch which is perfectly crispy and warm. The tortas are like a Mexican version of In-N-Out burgers with more variety. I love all of them! The service is great overall except two years ago when I started going there I encountered a snooty younger cashier who I guess was a supervisor and wouldn't accept my Yelp deal because she didn't know about it and even called her manager and said they don't accept yelp deals. The older ladies are always pleasant and sometimes know me by name and recognize my voice when I call in my order which is nice (aww que precious!) If you're in Anaheim and about to go to Disneyland I recommend picking up either a Chilly One, Chamoyada, Cancun Juice before you head over and a meal of some sort. Too bad they're not open 24/7 cause I'd definitely be there ALL THE TIME!

Yelp challenge 2015 202/365 Nice n Fruity, Fresh n Tutty. Cancun juice serving up fresh juices, smoothies and fruit cups on one side and Mexican food on the other side. Located off Euclid and the 5 freeway across from the Anaheim Gateway shopping Center. And Adjacent to the Filipino trio. Parking is plentiful. Maybe not right in front, but a little walk is good for you. This place is known for drinks. And my drinks were made in front of my eyes. The berry banana smoothie was a mixture of berries, banana and yougert. It was thick n creamy and very sweet. Almost too sweet for me. My other drink was a frozen Café and chocolate smoothie. Made with instant coffee, milk, ice and chocolate, topped with whipcream and more chocolate. Cost about $9.00 for both drinks. Not to bad. Service for me was great. I ordered and waited about 5 minutes for my drinks. The cashiers do make an effort to speak English and offer a friendly smile. I also make an effort to speak Spanish. If you don't speak enough Spanish, then just be patient with them. There is no reason for people to complain that the employees do not speak enough English. A okay...there are 2 other independent juice places that I like a little more, which is why only 3 stars. #687

The service here is awful. We asked for an extra bag and the lady threw the bag at us! We were still nice enough and said "Thank you." The lady ignored us completely! The guests there kept dogging me...doesn't make my eating experience pleasurable. The food:

Good place to cool down. Fresh fruit. Service not always good. But I love the chamoy drink with mango

I love the food at Cancun Juice and the only reason why I'm giving it such a bad review is because the cashier Rosy was honestly the worst cashier if ever come across in my life. She was extremely rude, kept staring at my sister and I up and down, who does that? She kept rolling her eyes. I couldn't believe how rude she was. Also I must add that the restaurant itself is filthy unlike it's state college location in Anaheim counterpart. Never coming back here again.

All I can say is yum. Great juices and very decent food. The prices are reasonable as well. The location can be a bit hard to find but def worth seeking out if you're in the area.

Looking for fresh juice? They have a great selection and it's not over the roof expensive. Plenty of parking available. It's usually busy, so if your picking up, call it in first. Their food is good but I mainly go for the juice. The Vampiro is my favorite, I add some lemon to take away the earthy taste of the beets.

Ok so this place was great , this was my first time coming to this place. I just happened to drive near it , I was actually going to go a few doors down to Starbucks to grab some iced tea, I tumbled across this place thinking it was only a juice smoothie bar, but to my supersize it was booth a fresh fruit smoothie/juice bar and a Mexican food restaurant which was great, because I was actually looking for a place to grab a snack and a cold drink before school started specially in this hot weather. I had the Cancun smoothie it has (fresh pineapple, mango, orange, coconut, banana, and yogurt). It was very refreshing and it felt like something I would actually get in a tropical place such as Cancun or Hawaii, so the name definitely fits this smoothie! I also had the Taquitos I wanted something fast and to go I went for the beef ones I usually get chicken but beef sounded good to me at the time, they ended up being really good topped with shredded lettuce sour cream and shredded Mexican cheese (queso) with a slice of tomato on top. I'm more into chicken so next time I'll try the chicken taquitos. This place has quite a good amount of smoothies and fresh juices as well as food. I would recommend you come and try out this place I loved the smoothie! I think I found myself a new smoothie/ juice place I can go to before or after school to stay cool with a cold drink and grab a snack/meal!

Three stars because the food is great!!!!! I don't live locally but im in this area very often. Looking for a Mexican place this good and I found it! However the customer service here is nasty! Ladies have on globs of make up which shouldn't be acceptable given that you're working with food. Just isn't appealing. Ordered a torta with just beans and lettuce, sat down and looked over the receipt.. The order was written wrong. Went and asked them to correct it, once I got the food it was still wrong I had to get back up again and ask them to replace it. They didn't take very long thankfully, if they did I would've asked for a refund and left . Bitter sweet here, will come back just for the food. If service gets worse definitely will not come here again. Great food difficult environment to deal with.

I haven't had a torta in a few years and heard this place has a great torta. I ordered the carne asada and the cubana. I think they were just average. They looked delicious, but they can't beat my friend's mom's torta. If this is a great torta, I need to get them to open a restaurant. Message me with recommendations for a good torta place, I'm in search for a quality torta. When trying don't forget to get some of the sauces in the cart with some of the peppers.

  • M N.

I like the food here BUT, this place is dirty, they usually get my order wrong, and if I call to place my order to avoid their stupid long wait time because they ALWAYS take forever whether it's busy or not they'll either get my order wrong entirely or miss something from it so I'm back at square one anyway. Also they chit chat with customers after they pay...like cmon take care of the damn line first people are waiting on top of your already long wait to get their food! Go to the south coast location instead, I rather make the drive there, they don't take as long and their food tastes WAY BETTER.

Place is good!!!! But they take forever at this location!!! Go to the Cancun Juice on Lincoln and St College they are way faster!!!!!!

The Tortas are pretty good. This was one of the places I frequented during my lunch break when I lived in California. It's a pretty clean place. The drinks are good and so is the food. All I ever really tried were the Tortas and the bionicos, which were good. They sell real fruit smoothies and they make them in front of you. I haven't been back since I moved but when I was a regular this place was pretty cool. Always called my order ahead and when I showed up to pick it up it was always ready and my order was always correct. Being able to phone ahead was a huge plus for my coworkers and I.

  • Omar C.

Bad customer service, cashiers can be rude, if not always. I came here 3 times, and received the same experience each time. The food is great don't get me wrong but I suggest ordering somewhere else. Cancun, the only thing I have to say is, teach your staff proper customer service, english literacy, and double checking their work. Do not recommend.

This is a go to place when craving a decent torta (Mexican Sandwich), and has some good things going for it such as the fresh juices, smoothies, and fresh food. Our fave is the carne asada torta, it has beans, carne asada, lettuce, tomato, jalepenos, and mayo. The taquitos are decent, and the salsa station is a plus.Breakfast is a good option here as their chilaquiles are pretty good, and the Mexican style scrambled eggs, beans, and tortilla go for only 3.99. that's a breakfast better and cheaper than most fast food places. The only minus here is the service can be slow at times, but according to them, everything is freshly made which can take a bit longer. If you need a quick fresh Mexican fix, Cancun juice is right across the street within walking distance from the university.

Came here on Sunday to grab a quick chamoyada since I was next door. I found this place by driving by but their yelp pictures on the drink is what got me to come by. They have food and a menu for fresh juices and drinks. The place was big inside and looks like they have a whole section to the side just for juicing. I got their chamoyada (Chamango) and it was just okay. I was looking for something more icy and slushy like.. What I got was a warm smoothie.. Ehhhh not what I was expecting. Yes their pictures look good but not the right kind. I'll still to Natural for now.

The tortas are pretty good. But the place is dirty. You can't sit comfortably and eat there. The tortilla soup is good as well.

  • Christopher H.

Good food, alright prices, love there juices and flavored drinks.on the other hand the place needs to be a little bit more clean. the tables were a bit sticky, the bathroom was disgusting (men's, what's new right) but still they should have there employees hit it up every 30 mins, and sweep the floor. I gave the food 4 stars, next time I'll order to go. Btw they have cool fans inside! The blades are leafs! Ooooh tropical!

    (4)
  • Usc T.

Price was decent. We ordered a few beef soft taco, tinga, tostada, taquitos, & chamymada ( mango smoothie) . All which very tasty. Service was okay. We got ours to go. I wouldn't want to sit there & eat though. They could improve the sauce/lemon station a bit. But overall it was good Mexican fix for the drive out!

  • Rafael D.

Came here a couple of times by now and got to say, love the fresh juices here. One of my favorites is the Grape Fruit juice. Really get that bitter, fresh taste haha. The food is actually not that bad either. They have combos where you can order some enchiladas with a drink or order the combo I usually get; one sandwich ( torta) with a dessert and a drink for like $7. They have from breakfast tortas to Cuban tortas ( basically many meats, pretty good selection). The torta is packed with stuff so they don't ass you out here. The fried banana dessert is delicious! One real reason I order this combo haha. Its two fried banana slices, glaces on top with bits of fresh strawberry topping. When you come here, make sure you also get the red salsa they have at the mini bar. I drown my tortas with it, yummy!

Really bad customer service I wouldn't come back here the cashier rushed me to order ...on top of that she wasn't listening to what I was ordering ...

  • Angi P.

The foods really good... The prices are reasonable.... I was a regular. (like 3 times a week, regular) BUT.... I refuse to go where I'm treated like I'm the one that's wrong for not speaking Spanish. First off, I called to place my pick up order at around 8am. The woman (because calling her a lady would mean she had some manners) who answered the phone immediately placed me on hold (put the phone down to chat) for over 3 minutes. That's a long time on the phone. Then I gave her my order in ENGLISH and she kept answering me in SPANISH. Yea, whatever. I can understand enough to get by. But, she's really rude, she understood English, but refused to speak it... and I can't figure out why. She tells me my order will be ready in 10 minutes. By this time, I'm parked outside because she took forever to get to me on the phone. So I go up to the counter smiled and let her know I called to place my order. She said "Maria?" I said "no, Angi" Her expression immediately changed and I asked her if I could add another item to my order. She gave my my total...in Spanish. Whatever, I pay and wait. I'm waiting and the other woman who's making the drinks walks by and says something softly in Spanish (I couldn't hear). She didn't look up at me or say an order #. So I just stood there. Then the creature that took my order came to the counter again and said loudly as if scolding "She called your order!" I said "I didn't hear my order #" and she said "Yes, she did. Your food" as she pushed my order toward me on the counter. I looked her dead in the eye and asked her name, she proudly said "Susana". Oh, and she was a sweetheart to the customers before and after me. Well... I'm Filipina and my kids are half Mexican. I love the Mexican culture and people. But come ON folks! It's 2014. If you cant cater to the primary language of the City, State, or Country, then we have a problem! I get it, I really do! I try really hard to learn Spanish, but when I'M displaced because you're employees refuse to serve me in ENGLISH, then that's wrong. Orange and Anaheim (st college) locations are nicer... and they have roasted chiles in the morning. I guess this location is to lazy to answer the phone, roast chiles, etc. I work in the service industry. And it BLOWS my mind how rude some people are. Absolutely BLOWS MY MIND!

  • Jennifer M.

So I placed an order over the phone today and was told it would be 15 minutes . I arrived in 15 minutes and they claimed they didn't receive my order even though they made sure I had called the correct number [which was their location number]. So I had to wait longer only to find out my order was entirely wrong. Even after I told them the order was wrong they told me that's exactly what I ordered! Terrible service and poor communication skills among the team members. If I could give this place zero stars , I would in a heartbeat.

I had no idea this place was a chain but apparently it is according to my boyfriend. I always thought this place was just for drinks but they serve food here too which is a plus. Either way, I think their main draw is their fresh juices and smoothies. I can actually see people in the back cutting up fruit so you know it's fresh. I've tried both the drinks and the food here. I've had their Cancun Juice and something else too but I can't remember right now. All I know is that both drinks tasted delicious and extremely fresh. The Cancun Juice actually had bits of coconut meat in my drink which was awesome. The tacos here are also pretty solid. I found the carne asada a little dry but still very tasty with their salsa. Fresh smoothies and Mexican food. It's such a great combination. 4/5

Forced to give it a star I have ordered with them 5 times the first time I did take out and the food was great but it took almost an hour to get my food plus 20 min in line second time I ate there and still took an hour to get my food 3rd time I decided to order and take it home surprised they said my food would take 15 min so I decided to give them a try but when I went to get the food their atm machine was down I told them I would eat there and wait to pay till their machine was up the lady was rude and said no i was irritated knowing the food was going in the trash i decided to call the manager later that day and she was nice she even offered to make the food for me again but when I showed up to pick it up took 45min again food was great that is the 4th time any way 5th and final one i ordered payed for a torta asada 6 plain tacos and a went carnitas no tomato burrito what I got 4 tacos with onion a burrito with tomato and lots of it !!!! And the carnitas still looking for them I called them again worst costumer service I think her name was reina rude very rude I tried to explain to her what was wrong and she kept talking over me wouldn't let me speak and talking to other customers and even yelled at the poor cook and asked him what exactly he made poor guy mistakes happen but she made the citation worse never again will I eat here I really hope you guys could find good help because it's not the food that's the problem it's the girls you have there and I wasn't the only unhappy customer tonight sadly we all agreed never to come back !!

I have to say I love good tortas of Milanesa and man this place hit the spot delicious . Me and my husband like good Mexican food we are Mexican so we know what is truly Mexican food and this place has it just like your eating a good torta in the streets of mexico .we ordered our food taquitos de pollo torta de milanesa and torta de salchicha and some horchatas are food took 10 min, it was made when we ordered it and was out of this world good I love this place very good the only thing we didn't like was the seating it needs a remodeling our table was falling to one side and the seats are way to hard . I recommend this place prices are good and there is a place to eat in side

If I could, I think I'd give it a 3.5 star rating, but I like to round up, so 4 it is. I thought the food was pretty solid, definitely a 4 star taste for the chicken burrito. I didn't try any juice, so I guess I can't comment on that. I would raise the star count if the bang for buck was a little better. I feel like a place like this should be pretty cheap or at least give you a lot of food. The burrito was a good size... but maybe throwing in a handful of chips or something would be nice. I didn't really feel like anything was all that special about the food, but it really wasn't bad... 3 stars? 4 stars? Somewhere around there sounds good to me.

really good price for the amount they give you and very fresh!

Amazing fresh juices. Try the vampire, fat burner and pop eye. Add ons like chia or spirulina only like 40c. I love it? Plus huge size can be split between two people or could be a full meal. I've never tried the food but there's always a queue of Mexicans so that's gotta be a good sign right? Haha :)

  • Jen T.

I like the torta, but gosh every feel like speaking English doesn't help? I've been to a handful of different countries in my young life and even in the most remote areas English has always help me except at Cancun Juice located in Southern California. Bomb crane asada and chorizo tortas but dang their number system is all in SPANISH -_- I don't speak Spanish. When they call out the order number I focus on the last digit and try to remember my 1-10s I learned in 7th grade in hopes of it being my order. Torta -Under $6 , extra for avacado Smoothies - Bomb $4 ish

Went there today, the juice drink was excellent, the salad I got was ok because they put cheese on it and did not tell me. the salad had potential but they did not tell me it came with cheese and I am allergic, it makes me sick.....I cannot take the cheese off because it was in granule size. Cucumber drink was excellent tho,

Love this place! Have been coming here for a while and their torta cubana is the best. They have aguas frescas, smoothies, and bionicos freshly made. I also really like their chiles toriados, their always cooked to perfection.

Sister and I were craving Chamangos so we looked up a place that was near a camera shop we were in. We got drawn to this one because it had better reviews than the other ones we saw. We went and were very satisfied with their chamangos. I LOVE when they put that tamarind candy stick in the drink. That, to me, is an indicator that it's a good Mexican smoothie place. Wish it was closer to us in L.A. because I don't know if I'd drive aaaalllll the way here for a chamango. Maybe when we go to Disneyland?

OMG THE CARNE ASADA TORTAS! I dont think ive ever had such an amazing sandwich! The yummy marinated steak with the warm fresh bread and the thick slice of cheese....my mouth is watering. They also add jalapenos but its not too spicy its a little kick with a lot of flavor! They also offer 2 salsas a chipotle one and a green one. Mix them together and you get a party in your mouth. The fresh fruit dishes and the drinks are all pretty good. I always get the cancun juice it makes me feel like km on vacation haha. If youre in a rush order ahead because everything is made to order!!!!

what i like about this is that the food is always consistently good. i think the service is usually better in the mornings when they're not too busy but there's regular foot traffic just about any time i've visited. it's just a lot heavier during lunch. i loved their breakfast burritos, tortas, and tacos but feel that their juices are ok. i think the food is better than their juice. :) definitely worth a try if you're thinking about it.

I love this place! The best tortas ever. I recommend the cubana torta! Delicious! I also love their blended smoothies.

    (5)
  • Alejandro A.

The smoothies are fantastic! Parking is horrible. Prices are great! The cleanliness of the place needs to be worked on. I felt as if when I sat down my clothing was: 1. going to get dirty 2. smell like food From the looks of it, it made me not want to visit the restrooms.(so I didn't) Maybe they just did not have a great cleaning/closing crew the day before.

I've eaten here many times on my lunch break. I'd say the highlights are the Fortas and the carnitas. I've never tried there smoothies, but people seem to love them. The prices are very good and the salsa bar is great. The only downside is that they only have one person at the register and it can be crowded. I've learned to circumnavigate this by calling my order in ahead of time.

    (4)
  • Jennifer G.

The food here is so delicious it's great the reason why I kept tryng to give it a shot but the staff is awful I've had them make mistakes on my order so many times that I just decided not to go back

  • Art Z.

The juices are excellent. If I could afford to buy 3 healthy juices a day I would probably have a six-pack. With that said, they have a delicious carne asada torta so I probably won't get that six pack any time soon. The only con about this place is that it is small and it's always packed...definitely order to go!

    (5)
  • Miriam R.

cancun is good a little over price tho. but definitely worth trying. i always get the vampiro smoothie or the cancun smoothie. ive had their chilaquiles, really good, their torta cubana, hawaiiana, and the carne asada burrito. for dessert its got to be the platano frito or their fruit salad. they do take a while to serve your food especially during lunch hour and the weekends.

  • Lauren G.

Everyone talking about needing to order in Spanish...I don't get it. Staff speak English here as well. ANYWAY.... I started coming to Cancun Juice for their juice. This isn't your run-of-the-mill Jamba Juice knockoff. This place craps on Jamba Juice any day. I love their aguas- agua de sandia, agua de mango, agua de whatever fruit combo you want to make. For those of you who don't speak spanish....agua=water and these are fruit waters. Delicious blended fresh fruit with ice to thin it out a little. Fantastic! As others have mentioned, their food is delicious. I usually get a huarache for myself. Huarache= sandal. It is a pretty thick tortilla that is griddled (i think) and then covered in AMAZING refried beans, your choice of meat (carne asada!) and two types of mexican cheese- queso fresco and cotija and a green spicy salsa. I also add avocado because it is phenomenal. Tortas are pretty tasty too, but I prefer the huarache- you can get tortas pretty much anywhere.

One of the best tortas in North Orange County. Also luv there chilaquiles with carne asada red or green both are good. Only giving 4 stars cuz the parking sucks and they have no drive thru.

  • Chriss L.

yum yum yum! I was actually in the mood for food, and I remember my friend saying that the food looked/smelled great. They don't have anything exotic like organ meat (hubby lives for organ meat), just basic chicken fish and beef. I love the food here because it's Americanized just enough without being too salty. They put lettuce in the burrito, yay! The fruit blended drinks are good too, but the smallest size is too big to enjoy with the food.

    (5)
  • Nancy V.

Love their fresh fruit juices! My favorite is cancun juice. Had their food as well and overall it's pretty good. Bionico which a Mexican style fresh fruit salad with yogurt is good if you just want to pair it up with a smoothie or something. I've tried the carne asada torta (which i also took a pic) and I swear you can share with another person. Everything is cooked well the avocream and chilimayo is delicious but i would maybe add some more seasoning to the meat. Food and drink is overall very fulfilling you will definitely catch me here next time.

I always custom order my smoothies: strawberry pineapple coconut and watermelon with some bee pollen. And food i always get a horaches (spelling?). Soooo gooood! I had also shared with a friend their fruit salad with the toppings and that was amazing too!

Cancun juice you'd think is a juice shop. Yes it is but they don't only make some fresh delicious juices they also have killer food. I really like their tortas but almost everything I've tried here has been good. Stay away from their uber-sweet fruit salads.

Order in Spanish if you can. I forgot that today and ordered a chicken quesadilla and she gave me cheese. The cashier seemed angry and she said that I should have checked the receipt. I was really nice about it but on the inside, I thought that was really rude. Anyway their cheese quesadilla is pretty greasy. I recommend the chicken tacos or chicken or asada torta. Their lemonade is awesome. But service.... meh.

Go to the other Cancun on Lincoln and State College if you can. The workers at this location are rude. I love going to their other location on Lincoln. Their food is always good and I love their juices when I'm on a juicing fast.

I really liked thier tortas. They have very nice sized portions for the price. You can get a chicken torta with good squishy bread, beans, lettuce, Jalapenos, and chipotle mayo for about 5 bucks. But thier service sucks. I went twice to see if the first time was a fluke- but it wasn't. If you decide to try this place I would order to go.

Try the Cancun Juice from Cancun Juice - I guess you could say I play it safe by ordering the title of the place - but, ONLY if you could handle some intense flakes of chewable coconut and bursts of various fruit flavors exploding in your mouth, followed by a cool sensation of tranquility on your tongue. Yes, it takes you to Cancun and back, all in an over-sized styrofoam cup. I'll be back to try the tortas!

Service is too slow, they might cook when you order but it takes TOO long to get the food out. Oh yea, make sure you know your order number in SPANISH. :D Other than slow service, everything is great. I've been going here after I tried their burrito, it's SO good. I love their chicken burrito, it's the bomb. If you're into bread, I suggest trying their chicken tortas. Oh so good.

I'm going to give Cancun Juice 3 stars. I go there for both the smoothies and the foods. I don't mind them taking longer on giving me my food than other places because they make the stuff after you order it. The only thing I don't like is that the smoothies are not consistant in taste. Sometimes they taste good, and other times they dont'. Overall it's good place to eat.

If you love your fruit Mexican style, this place is it. Sure there is a security guard at the door sometimes but everything is reasonably priced and the service is pretty prompt. Oh and make sure you order in spanish!

I was feeling the bug and wanted some veggie/fruit type drank to hold the cold at bay....jamba juice is alright but has a lot of sugars and such. My boyfriend and I thought we would try out Cancun Juice. I got the Vampiro (carrot, orange, beet, strawberry, banana, celery, cantaloupe, apple, and pineapple) and and he got the Fat Burner (napal, celery, pineapple, parsley, grapefruit, and orange). Yum! Fresh squeezed veggie/fruit juices! The large size for only 99 cents more is huge! Double the size of a regular! They also have smoothies and horchata and such...and various noms like fruit salads, sandwiches, tacos, tortas, and stuff. Friendly service to boot. I feel a lot better now...with all those fluids and vitamins and minerals. Yay!

this is probably the best mexican food chain. well chain as theres one where i work in orange and one near where i live in anaheim so i assume its a chain. its different from other "real mexican" food places because they serve great shakes. would i come here just for the shakes....no because id rather go to jamba juice...but knowing i can get something almost as good and a great carne asada burrito with some really good salsa makes this place a biweekly place for me

I was in the mood for a torta so when I drove by this place I decided to stop by. I ordered a torta de chorizo and one of their juices. The torta was very delicious. The bread was nice and crispy. The veggies where fresh. The sauce they put on it was good. The chorizo was also seasoned very well. I also tried some of their salsa on my torta and those were good as well. Very delectable torta. I had the cancun juice which was also very good. It tasted very fresh. They had a variety of fresh squeezed juices along with smoothies. I will have to try them some other time.

Love the chicken torta. They make everything fresh so be prepared to wait if you go but it is worth the wait.

Good food! I went for lunch an ordered a Bionico and banana liquado. Both items came fresh and great tasting. Yes they take awhile to make but what do you expect when it is FRESH... The lady is actually cutting the fruit by hand!!!! Location is nice, the food is great, the service is even better. Came back a week later and ordered a torta and it was Excellent!

Not your average Jamba Juice! Came here for dinner and decided that I wanted something light. I chose the Hawaiina fruit salad for $4.75. A variety of fresh fruits (strawberry, cantaloupe, papaya, apples watermelon & bananas) topped with granola, shredded coconut, raisins, cottage cheese, and honey. SUPER yummy and actually more filling than I thought. My boyfriend ordered a carne asada torta for $4.95. I had a bite and it was delicious. The bread was fresh & it came with an amazing avocado cream sauce. He also ordered a lemonade agua fresca which he loved. Fresh squeezed lemons. Yum! They also have a variety of other entrees. Such as taquitos, quesadillas, huaraches, etc. Additionally, they have burgers and fries. Different types of fresh juices and smoothies. Too much good stuff! Took me some time to figure out what I wanted. Service was good. A little slow but everything is made fresh & by hand so what do you expect? I'd love to come back and try their smoothies. Especially their Cancun smoothie.

*slurp slurp gulp gulp* Ah. Heaven in a giant styrofoam cup. After a disgustingly belly-filling meal at Chris & Pitt's, I decided to give Cancun Juice a try. Everyone else wanted coffee instead, so I went in through the double doors by myself and... WHOA! WHY didn't I ever go inside here before?! I wasted YEARS of my life just walking right by this place! Criminal! Judging by the name, I thought it was a juice bar. Turns out, it's a whole restaurant! They sell tortas, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, echiladas, taquitos, you name it! Okay, so they don't have an extensive selection, but for sure, there's quite a lot of stuff to choose from! El Taurino forever scarred me; I refuse to go into hole-in-the-wall Mexican joints anymore. But man, I'm going to have to give their food a try someday soon! You see, the place was brand-spankin' CLEAN! The floors were spotless, the walls were devoid of smears or fingerprints, and... the most telling sign of all... the CEILINGS were clean. Oh, me gusta! Me gusta! And from my vantage point, the kitchen also looked fairly shiny and clean. Me gusta, me gusta! I placed an order for a Cancun Juice (pineapple, mango, orange, banana, and coconut), but got the coconut replaced by strawberries. And then... I just couldn't stop myself. I just had to. I ordered an Escamocha (fresh fruit salad with apples, papaya, melons, raisins, granola, yadda yadda and condensed milk). I know, I was full to bursting after gorging myself on Chris & Pitt's, but I just HAD to try one of these plates of fruit! It just looked too damn good on the poster! A regular plate of fruit salad and a large juice. All for under $10. I can dig it, I can dig it. My only slight gripe is that I felt my order was taking longer than everyone else's. Yes, there were a steady stream of patrons ordering all sorts of foods. Their hot foods all came out, but where the heck was my juice and salad? I was slowly starting to get impatient when I realized.. the chick was slicing the fruit herself! Nice! Totally fresh! Me likes, me likes! The fruit salad, I didn't actually try. Truth be told... I was too full. It was an impulse by. But it's okay. I just popped it in the fridge. Should be good for breakfast, no? My juice was... in a really fat styrofoam cup and it tasted.. JUST THE WAY I LIKE IT. It's honestly only a SMIDGEN worse than Caribbean Juice (in Lakewood or Cerritos of wherever it is), and that's amazing. I never thought anything could even come CLOSE to Caribbean Juice. Now I've found a most delectable pinch hitter for the Mexican juices I so love, and so much closer to home! Yay for a great find! Please - if you like Jamba Juice or Juice It Up, don't go here and drink their juices. You'll never be able to go back to Jamba or Juice It Up ever again. Yes, people. Mexican blended juice is that good and... oh so worth it. YUM..... *slurp slurp*

AND I have tasted better... at the Cancun Juice on Bristol (read the post). I went after a dental checkup in the same location and what better to eat after a cleaning on my pearly whites ?? A yummy succulent carnitas tortas - OR SO I THOUGHT! I refrained from eating most of the day so my teeth would be clean for the checkup so when I left, I figured YUMS a carnitas torta with chipomayo and avocrema. I ordered it and mind you I was the ONLY customer in the place. I figured 5-10 minute wait, oh no my friends it was close to HALF AN HOUR! I don't know what was going on back in the grill but it was taking forever! The Bristol/Warner location is always packed and my most wait time is 10 minutes and the tortas are far superior ! This torta was dry, the lettuce was old and the carnitas were waaaaaay greasy. SO greasy that the bag was seeping oil ! Now I love me some greasy bags but when the bread is even see thru I know there is a problem! DO yourself a favor and go to the Bristol location.

Turkey torta with a mango agua fresca is a perfect lunch. Some people say the carne asada is overcooked but i think its to keep the torta from becoming a soggy mess.

I was walking by this place and the picture on the window caught my attention. It was a huge torta overflowing with crispy meat, jalapenos and all sorts of goodness. We decided to stop in and try it out. The picture turned out to be the torta cubana. We also ordered the tortilla soup and a kids meal for my son, the taco version. As we went to sit down and wait for our food I noticed a small salsa bar with 2 varieties of salsa/sauces, some limes and roasted jalapenos. I love salsa bars and made sure to get two of each.. About 10 minutes of waiting our food was ready. The torta was really big and actually pretty good. It didn't quite meet my expectations.. the picture looked so much better than it was. But it was still good! I wish I had known it was so big, my bf and I could have shared one. I ended up taking half of mine home. I wish there was an option to put a fried egg on top of it.. not that it needed any more calories.. that thing is jam packed with random stuff.. fried pork, pulled pork, beans, tomato, lettuce ham cheese and i think turkey? The tortilla soup was delicious especially since it was so cold outside. My son liked his taco and fries.

From the outside this place looks like your average Jamba Juice, Juice it Up, what have you place. But, it's nothing of that sort. The fruit in this joint is fresh, fresh smoothies, fruit salads, juices, etc. And I'm not talking about strawberry banana smoothies or orange pineapple (although they kind of have something similar), they have papaya, coconut, lime blends, etc. And they're delicious. I inhaled my regular sized drink and wanted more, so if you love that stuff, buy the larger size. The food is NOT the ordinary Mexican food you might find at other places. It's lighter, not as greasy, fresh ingredients, more about the veggies at this place than the grease, meat etc. Try the tortas. They have a hamburger and fries combo for those who want that stuff, but that's the only American food they offer. Don't get it. It's good, but try something else when you're there. Great place, good prices considering the food, try it out, everything is pretty darn good. Might stop by today now that I'm thinking about it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
