High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Good food at a great price with very fast service. Denny's ain't got nothing on this place.

The rating explanation of "Meh. I've experienced better." really sums this up. I was looking for a good breakfast burrito since I moved to the area so I came here. I rolled through the drive-thru and it was quick and painless although other yelpers say it can be rough. Went for a breakfast burrito with bacon and an order of fries. So lets get down to business. We live in a city that is filled with many different grease pits and taquerias to get awesome burritos from. It is tough to stand out, but honestly this place did nothing for me. The burrito did the job in filling me up but was there anything special about it? No not at all. Kind of flavorless without the salsa. I was bummed out that it didn't deliver more in the flavor department. I should just stick with the spots that I know. Fries were decent, but those are tough to mess up right? They were hot outta the fryer and nice and salty. Not sure if I would come back and try other stuff here, I just got off to a bad start with the place and there are too many places in OC that I know are good. So maybe again in a pinch I would give it another go. CHEERS!!!

Ordering at the drive thru is torturous. First. The drive thru attendant doesn't realize that the speaker system has a slight delay when they push the button to speak so the first half of what they are saying is cut out. Second. Order a hamburger special. Attendant, "with cheese?". Me, "no. And no onion". Attendant, "with cheese?". Me, "no." Note: if I wanted a cheese burger I would order a cheese burger. When I finally get my order it's never right. It will be some variation and it will probably have cheese! Customer service is virtually non existent. A simple greeting and thank you would go a long way. Food quality is sub par. Not a huge deal since after all, it's a burger joint... There are tons of burger joints. I'd pass on this one.

Two stars is being generous. I have also experienced the high prices here.. and the ok food. So I guess it took yet another time to get kicked in the head. Food taste - Ok. I have definitely had better. MUCH better. But I was hungry. and this was open. and it wasn't mc donalds. 4.79 for the breakfast burrito. With bacon. I asked to add ham and it made it over 11 dollars. I asked.. and she said ham was another 4.95. How is a slice of ham priced higher than the whole breakfast burrito? Needless to say.. I told her she could keep her ham.. and I only purchased the burrito. It was ok. The salsa was not spicy at all. (kind of tasteless, actually) .. This will be my last time at this place. I'll sooner wait for something else to be open before I spend any more money in this place.

  • Andre W.

Wwwaaaaaaaayyyyy over-priced. $15.73 for a grilled ham and cheese and some onion rings.

    (2)
  • Brooke D.

Very small but friendly. We had breakfast. The burritos are giant. They have mote traditional mexican breakfasts too. Rice us really good, beans so so. Breakfast platters large enough we could have split them. Eggs and bacon are good, but I would avoid the pancakes. Not very light or fluffy. Fruit served with platters. I would recommend for a diner option.

  • Steve L.

Expensive. Awesome french toast though. God club sandwich dinner even though it don't come with a drink. Tip. Don't get there salad bar. Seen a Latina lady sneeze over the salad bar and didn't cover her mouth.

I've only ordered the fish & chips, but they're so awesome I keep going back for more. One combo plate is enough to feed me and my husband, and there's still enough leftover for one of us to have lunch the next day....and we fight over who gets to eat it. The combo comes with 3 whole batter fried fish fillets that barely fit in the take-out container, plus standard issue fries and mediocre coleslaw. But we don't care. We're in it for the fish & chips. Well worth the $8.15 price. I've had pretty good fish & chips at other fancier restaurants, but the serving sizes were small and the prices outrageous. Burger Boy is an unpretentious Mom & Pop kind of place that pays more attention to the quality & amount of their fish & chips, and that's more than good enough for me.

  • Kathy M.

Was ok my friends wanted to eat here and I was concerned. Place looked clean but had bad health dept checks. Got the cheese burger and it was good. Onion rings got hard after cooling down not real tasty. Not memorable. Will update if I get sick. Feeling ok for now.

  • Sherin C.

I do not usually give a place less than 4 stars unless I feel I really have to. One of the reasons was because the price was a little high for the amount of food you get. Their shrimp plate was ok. Fries were a little soggy. Their breakfast burrito (bacon) was ok. Bacon was not too crunchy. They used potatoes instead of hash browns. Tasted a little stale. That's what it was. Their ingredients were not fresh and I will not come back nor recommend anybody to come here.

    (2)
  • Joshua F.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Over priced unflavorful food, rude staff, and its hot as hell inside of the place. Do yourself a favor and head to Paul's Place down the road. Your tastebuds and wallet will thank you. There should be more competition in this area, this is the only reason Burger Boy is still in business...

    (1)
  • Rho L.

I get it. This place isn't a five star ma and pop shop, but breakfast here is pretty damn good. Girthy breakfast burritos, fluffy pancakes, nicely fried bacon, cheap prices. When you ask for easy potatoes, they actually do ease up on the potatoes.

  • Ken B.

To make this short and to the point. Had the chicken club sandwich here at this burger establishment and wasn't happy about the sandwich. The chicken lacked taste and the Swiss cheese that they put on there was no Swiss cheese it was something that was made in some type of laboratory I'm sure of it. The mayo didn't even taste fresh. Yuck! The star on the plate was the onion rings and that wasn't saying much. As I have had better onion rings. But they were edible and was a good alternative to chicken sandwich fail. Now my son enjoyed his hamburger and french fries so for that and for that reason only this place will get a two star from me. Lesson learned go with your first mind is I should've went to the sports Grill that was down the street from Angel Stadium.

    (2)
  • Cindy V.

I've only gotten the breakfast and it mediocre at best. Potatoes have not flavor, eggs ok. The worst thing is that they're expensive! I can make better food at home and that's saying something cause I don't cook.

  • Vanessa S.

First time around I had a order of fried zucchini which was pretty good with their house made ranch however the second time around I had an bacon and egg sandwich that was horrendous and would never try again and actually has made me not wanna go back. Maybe it was a bad day but not worth $5.50 for one sandwich.

  • Mari C.

Turn around, don't go in! 1 order of food poisoning is all you'll get from this place. My boyfriend and I wanted to try something new, thus ended up here. We ordered burgers and enchiladas with chips and salsa. The salsa was expired, the food was HORRIBLE. We should have just headed down one more block and got McDonald's. Yeah, McDonald's may have left us feeling like we gave into big business with low quality, but this place left us worse. Fighting over the toilet, and our bodies fighting over which holes to use. So for your own safety. STOP AND DON'T GO IN.

  • John V.

This place is horrible!! First of all I order a BLT with bacon and avocado, it's a 8$ sand which that doesn't come with a drink or fries that to me is a rip off!! I was the only car in the drive thru and it literally took 6 mins. To make my sandwich? The drive thru attended seem like she didn't want to be there she was on her phone right in front of me...while she gave me my food she drop my fork and didn't say anything she just shut the window in my face, if I'm going to pay 8.09$ for a sand which at least treat me good, when I got to my work to eat my sandwich , it didn't even have avocado !!! I was so pissed, what a waste of money!!should of went to Mickey d's or carls Juinor

  • Mark B.

Love the burgers here. We've eaten here many times both dine in and take out. We'll continue to eat here as they have the best burgers around.

  • Chelsea K.

I tried this place because It's close to my work.. not knowing I was going to pay $10 for a cold turkey sandwich. Nothing else on the menu looked appetizing and I don't eat red meat. So $10 it was... No fries. No drink. Just bread, lettuce, tomato, turkey and a little mayo. I could have gone to the grocery store and paid $10 for a whole week's worth of turkey sandwiches for that. Was nothing great and definitely not worth the price.

  • Blake F.

Great tasting breakfast. Little over priced in comparison to similar diners but at least it tastes fresh. I also like when I can see them cook my food, always a plus. If your hungry you won't leave dissatisfied. I give 3 stars because my potatoes were extremely burnt in my burritos (had to pull them out as I ate). But the food in general is good and I will end up back here some day.

    (3)
  • Francisco C.

Super mega expensive.. there was nothing in the salad bar.. Hot as hell.. DO NOT EAT HERE. Almost $16 for a double bacon cheese burger combo!?!??!!!! My co-worker got the regular bacon cheese burger and paid a dollar less!! And the lady still had the nerve to laugh and tell me to order the smaller combo next time......

  • Karen D.

Good food here. Wide variety of food selections. Fast and fresh. Mark and I come here If we want a full meal. Plus it's around the corner from us, which is nice for us. Their Chef Salad is gigantic and their hamburgers are good. The Fajitas are yummy!! We come here often. The staff is always welcoming and nice.

I love these little establishments that seem to offer you a little bit of everything. From burgers to breakfast to mexican food, they can do it. On my first trip here, I had one of their wonderful breakfast dishes that came with 3 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Now I love eggs, and I can be pretty picky about how my eggs are cooked. I like the yolks runny and the whites firm. And that is exactly what I got! The eggs were delicious, the bacon wasn't over cooked, the hash browns had a nice crispness to them, and even the toast was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the in. It was so beautiful that I just had to take a picture of it: yelp.com/biz_photos/burg… The second time I came here I ended up ordering their 3 Taquito plate. It was so good that I devoured it before I got to take my picture! This place is nothing fancy, but they have great food. If you are looking for a one-stop shop to feed people, this might just be your place!

  • Eri P.

This sht was inedible. I'm surprised they are in business. I've never thrown food out before without trying to eat most of it, even if it's not great. Who would waste food and money. But after three attempted bites the sweaty pube hair-flavored cheese sauce on my "enchiladas" was too much. I chucked that sh*t right out and cursed the eight dollars it cost me. This was the grossest thing I've ever put in my mouth and I'm not a picky eater by any means. Oh, and to the staff: Yeah I heard your jokes about me right in front of my face, putos. Maybe one day someone will trick you into eating your own food. Punishment enough. Stay away from this place.

  • Tammy H.

Three visits now and the food was inline with the pricing. Last visit was their bacon cheeseburger with fries. Bacon was just right. Not too crunchy, not too under-cooked. Fries were golden and not "soggy". My second visit was for their Chef Salad. Let me say it was worth every penny. Delicious deep red tomatoes, crunchy bell peppers, red onion slices, and fresh lettuce (not packaged either) was the "bed" in which the ham, cheese, and turkey were presented. Lumpy thick ranch dressing was unlike most fast food establishments, lumpy and thick! Not watery. And my third visit on a Saturday for their 3 egg Breakfast special to go. The box was heavy as it contained perfect scrambled eggs, sausages in casing that "snap" when bitten into, and golden "hashbrowns" that covered the entire bottom of the to-go box. Give 'em a try. Don't be expecting 4 star hotel cuisine as some have posted here. If your palate is super picky, you might want to move on.

Ok, quick and to the point. Don't waste your time and money here! yelp.com/biz_photos/burg… FOOD ORDERED: Ruben Sandwich Combo yelp.com/biz_photos/burg… The worst Ruben I have ever eaten! Gross! Salty, chewey, dried out corned beef(?) not fit for a stray dog ! Very old tasting kraut too! Blech! Tossed it after 2 chewey bites. -1*Star The fries were the only thing edible, actually pretty good steak fries. 3.5***Stars The resturant looked pretty well kept up and clean. yelp.com/biz_photos/burg… Didn't see any salsa here only a weak salad bar! False advertising! yelp.com/biz_photos/burg… Even the novelas on the TV sucked! Rounded up to 1 stars for the fries! Waste of $10 I will not be coming back to Burger Boy!

  • Sam K.

Seriously, this place is great. I got 3 eggs, 2 tasty pork chops, a side of fruit, two English muffins, and all the hash browns I could eat for $6.95+ tax. Clearly, for that price, you're not getting Morton steakhouse quality. But the service is great, the food came fast (but not too fast), and I felt like I got great value for my money. I'd give it 5 stars but they didn't have applesauce to go with my pork chops...oh well. Come here before an Angel game instead of paying $20 for crappy ballpark food.

  • Priscilla D.

The Carne Asada is not the typical kind of Asada that most places serve. I ordered the Carne Asada burrito without beans and added cheese to it with a soda and it came out to almost $13!!! After paying for my meal, I was thinking this burrito better be huge and tasty. But I was very disappointed. It was average size and the taste of the Asada was nothing like what a carne Asada should taste like. It was a shredded beef burrito instead of a carne Asada burrito. The taste of the meat was more like a stew. It was horrible. I feel like I was robbed and I want my money back. Over priced and low quality food and service. Sorry, but I will not be coming back to this place.

Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger combo and total came out to $16 !! I was like what the hell !! Unfortunately I was very hungry so I just got the burger and drink which came out to $10.32. Very pricey and could get better for what I paid for elsewhere. NEVER GOING AGAIN !!

Burger Boy, The worse restaurant in Anaheim, the food is nasty no flavor at all, prices are way to high, a simple omelet cost cost you around $15 dllrs with coffee that's too much for a nasty no flavor food. The employes are rude the don't have manners, they're not poly, I went there once and I'm not planing to go back ever again. Bad experience.;(

  • Cindy M.

Super pricy for microwaved food. Especially the Mexican food. The taquitos where made of some type of dark balony substance. The enchiladas tasted weird. The only thing that tasted acceptable is the beans and rice. But ur better off going to albertos down the street..

    (1)
  • Evie V.

Will never eat at Burger Boy again. Ordered a Chili Colorado burrito with beans and cheese. Almost passed out when they told me the price, $11.26 for a burrito. I could of had a full dinner at El Torito for that price or better yet two burritos at Miguel Jr's which is a MUCH better tasting burrito. Got ripped!!!

Avg pastrami not much flavor, except the salty taste. I fell a bit pricey for what you get.

Burger Boy came through for us twice. They provided burgers and hot dogs for two large tail gate parties. Everything was perfect and delicious. The food was ready on time and packaged perfectly. We will definitely be using them for our next tail gate party.

Stopped by burger boy for a quick breakfast. To my surprise a simple egg and ham burrito $7.49. Next time I'll go get a gallon of gas and a Starbucks coffee.

Mediocre greasy spoon/Greek diner type joint. Wide menu, order at counter, food delivered to table. Was served possible worst sandwich of all time: BBQ beef. The "meat" was so over cooked, I felt as if I was eating a beef jerky sandwich, Total, complete garbage. It soured me on this place: Anyone serving food that lousy should be forced to eat it. And then be ball-punched. There are numerous other places that do this concept better.

Bacon double cheeseburger and onion rings with no drink set me back $15 bucks. How is that even possible? Onion rings were enough for two people and the burger was huge but nothing to write home about.

  • Charley H.

I'm giving 2 stars because the kitchen looked clean, and i didn't get sick. I went through the drive-thru and, for starters, it's pretty tight to drive a Honda Odyssey through there. The food: it was terrible in ways I've never seen before. I got a $10(!!!!) reuben sandwich combo. The meat was dry, the cabbage was old, and the mayo was thick. They didn't even take the time to spread the meat, it was just balled-up and slapped in the middle of the bread. Nothing near the crust! The bread was soaked completely with oil after the 4min drive home. The fries it comes with were.. brown!? yes, it was 4pm and the oil in their fryer is naasty. Some fries were REAL salty, and ALL of them were chewy and old.

Very typical of what you would expect from a mom & pop burger joint: Char-grilled burgers, fresh lettuce, tomato, secret sauce, onions, and pickles. Just like the other joints they have a lot on the menu ranging from Mexican, burgers, chicken sandwiches, pastrami sandwiches, fried zucchini, etc. This place is very similar to a few other local mom & pops: Ted's in Anaheim, Harry's in Garden Grove/Stanton, Varsity in Anaheim, John's Charbroiler in Cypress, Omega Burger in Orange, and Volcano in Los Alamitos. I would love for yelp to have a blind test where people guess at which restaurant the burgers came from because they are all nearly identical. Some differences are that some places use chopped onion versus onion slices ans shredded lettuce versus whole leaf lettuce. They all have buns with sesame seeds.

  • Kayte T.

Not just for burgers! This place is great! I work down the street and you can get pretty much anything you have a craving for here. From burgers, to philly cheese steaks, to enchiladas chances are they have something for everyone! And, no one will be disappointed. The wait staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. Plus, they even have a drive-thru!

Sooo, I was very reluctant to try Burger Boy because of the mixed reviews on here. I was hardcore jonesin' for a good burger and I didn't want to be disappointed. My boyfriend lives and works nearby Burger Boy and has been there on more than one occasion. He likes it and will gladly scarf down anything on the menu. He will practically eat anything though.. 1/4 cheeseburger: Subtract onions, add extra extra pickles and avocado. This thing was seriously huge. The patty is thin and charbroiled. It wasn't as juicy as I would have liked, but it wasn't as dry and flavorless as many on here would have you believe. I thought the charbroiled burgers had that flavor....charbroiled. If you don't like charbroiled burgers, then you won't like this place. The toppings were definitely fresh and they were delicious. They seriously hooked up the pickles! I ate about 2/3 of it before throwing in the towel. Fried zucchini: was soggy and the breading fell apart. Not all pieces had breading on them. Also, they put a lot of salt on it. :( French fries: Really good actually. They were probably from-frozen fries, but they were fried juuuuust right. The drive-thru service was pretty ridiculous. We waited at the window for 9 minutes before receiving our food. We turned off the engine and everything. This is probably why our zucchini was so soggy and gross. It was sitting in the styrofoam box steaming for a while before we could take it home. You might be better off eating in the restaurant because they have one girl taking orders for both inside and outside. Bottom line: Huge portions that will satisfy your hunger and make you feel guilty afterwards. Come here if you live close. This place has okay food at an okay price. This isn't "drive across town" good. It's "drive down the street" good.

Its food on the go but far superior than most on the go spots. Their zucchini and chili cheese fries are amazing!!!

Yeah I like this place. There food is good. Their staff is OK, but the portions are huge. This is not a place I would travel to go eat, but if you are in the area and are looking for some family style burgers, this is the place. This is probably a 3.5 star place. Check out some of the photos and you will get an idea of what the food is like. I would suggest bringing a friend to help you finish because they give you a ton of food. This place is worth checking out. I would have to say The X has a pretty good description of the place, I would just give more stars. Again I would say it is a 3.5 rounded to a 4

What is it about food whispers? Maybe it was watching The Best Thing I Ever Ate: Wake Up Call about breakfast foods. Maybe it was my ADD friend that asked me to go to breakfast on Monday or Tuesday, but never came through. Maybe it's the rainy weather that makes you crave warm fulfilling food in the morning. I wanted to check out Willy's Eatery breakfast, but for some reason it was closed. The only place I knew had breakfast that was close that I have been before was Burger Boy. Service - Excellent - See below. Cleanliness - Pristine - cooking area and dining area is very clean. Price - $7.33 (includes tax) Seafood - n/a Meats - Beef, pork, chicken Vegetables - Salads Dessert - n/a Fruits - Slice of cantaloupe Other - (1) Located around a industrial area off of State College Blvd. (2) Free parking in front. (3) Cash and Credit Cards are accepted here. (4) Order, pay, sit wherever you like, and your food is brought to you. What was ordered: Customer Service (Complimentary) - Woohoo! As good as it gets! (5 stars) - I walked in and was greeted by the cashier. The cashier let me take my time and look at the menu--not rushing me at all. The waitress was nice and brought me Tapatio when I requested it. Waitress also came by my table twice to ask if I needed a refill on my coffee. Coffee ($1.45) - A-Ok (3 stars) - Standard refillable black coffee in a 12 oz ceramic mug. I sat down and wondered why nobody brought my coffee. Then I realized they had the coffee out to self serve. Yeah, the whisper told me I was lame this morning. The coffee itself is okay and it tasted fine. There is non-dairy creamer at the self service station itself and little packets at the table as well. Breakfast Special ($5.29) - A-Ok (3 stars) - Composed of 3 Eggs (scrambled or sunny-side) with choice of 4 strips of bacon or 4 sausages or hamburger patty. Also comes with hashbrowns, toast (choice of white, wheat, sourdough) with jelly (3 types), and slice of cantaloupe. Here is my analysis of the Breakfast Special: *3 Eggs - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - I asked for the 3 eggs to be cooked scrambled. The eggs were beautifully cooked--fluffy with a vibrant yellow color throughout. Eggs tasted wonderful as well with a great texture. I love my scrambled eggs with ketchup and Tapatio so you get that sweet and tangy spiciness. *4 Sausages - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - 4 delectable sausages. 4 inches in length and half an inch in diameter. Just look how perfectly brown the sausages were. Also, see the savory sheen from the sausage oil/fat covered these links. These sausages tasted just as good as they looked--heavenly pork flavor with a bit of sweetness. *Hashbrowns - Meh. I've experienced better (2 stars) - 6L x 4W x 1H of hashbrowns. Nice crispy crust with a flakey center. Unfortunately, they were bland for my taste. So I had to add a little salt, pepper, ketchup, and Tapatio to liven them up. *Wheat Toast - Yay! I'm a Fan (4 stars) - 2 pieces of wheat toast 4L x 4.5W that were cut cross-diagonally. Toast were perfectly toasted on both sides--still soft in between. Margarine was spread across on each side of the toast. Best part is they give you a trio of jelly--grape, apricot, and raspberry (not sure about the 3rd one). I'm all about the grape so I liberally spread the grape. It's the bee's knees, cat's meow, elephant's adenoids, bullfrog's beard, gnat's elbows, monkey's eyebrows, cat's whiskers ... you get what I'm saying, right? *Cantaloupe - A-Ok (3 stars) - 1 slice of cantaloupe that is 6 inches in length (6L). It was freshly sliced, had a nice orange/yellowish color, and very moist and juicy. Nice sweet and nectarous taste. Great palate cleanser after a hearty meal. I recalled coming here a few times in 2007 and I think they had larger breakfast sausages. I am a bit sad that they are smaller now--hard times and cost has effected everyone. I still like this place because it is inexpensive and you are pretty full. I don't care what they say about you on Yelp, you're A-Ok in my book Burger Boy.

The cashier here is extremely rude. We just got here, and she didn't even acknowledge us from the minute we walked in. She stood at the register and stared at us... So weird! We looked at the menu, figured out what we wanted, and waited for her to say something. Of course, she didn't. I asked her if she was ready for us to order, and she said she's been waiting. Wtf?! I gave her the order, and she didn't even tell us the total! I asked her how much it was, and she said ummm... It's right there, and pointed to the register. Wow!!! We sat down, waited for our food, and she came by a few minutes later, dropped it on the table and didn't say a word! I don't get it. Yeah... We're 2 good decent looking girls. Maybe she was intimidated? No clue. But it was the most awkward dining experience I've ever had, and I won't be back. If you're going to be in the customer service industry... You should probably be more pleasant around paying customers! The food here was just alright... Bad attitude employee + so so food... I wish I could give this place 0 stars! I won't be back!

had a breakfast craving a few months back and got the breakfast burrito. it's everything a breakfast burrito should be. - big -cheesy - egg filled - greasy hash browns - salty sausage and when you put tapatio on every bite you're complete. this morning i had a breakfast burrito craving and forgot i never reviewed this place. unfortunately i'm fasting cause i need to lose a few (or 10) lbs. so now i'm hoping this review will magically take me back and fulfill my hunger and this craving. honestly it only made it more intense...time to drink more water.

Came here to avoid the chains, big mistake. When I walked in I saw that the menu was mostly Mexican food so I thought I couldn't go wrong with a steak burrito. Well, it sucked.

Burger was just OK. The bun wasn't great but the rest of the fix'ens were fresh. My buddy Paul D. got the fish and chips and it was huge! easily a meal for two.

ordered 1/2 cheeseburger (5.49) and it was NOT a combo! person taking the order kept asking me if i mean the 3/4(quarter pounder) this happen two times then they had me pull to the window. again the same thing "let me get the 1/2 cheeseburger with bacon plz". they reply "you mean the quarter?" me: "no i mean the 1/2 lbs cheeseburger" so i wait for a little more than 6 minutes and finally get my $8.49 burger. it had good taste but appearance, customer service and price just out-do the taste. I WILL NOT RETURN AND SHAME ON ME FOR NOT YELPING IT BEFORE HAND!!! one more thing it was $1.49 for 3 pieces of bacon on my burger

HORRIBLE FOOD! I stopped by on my way home to grab a cheeseburger, fries and some crispy tacos. I was so disappointed. How can you mess up these basic foods? I ordered two crispy tacos but can only eat 1 even though I was really really hungry I did not enjoy it. I looked great but then i bit into it a sweet disgusting meat. It was reminiscent of ground meat and bbq sauce. Not good in a taco! Then i tried the cheese burger. It was dry and plain tasting i had to rush to my fridge at home and smother it with mustard and ketchup. They should of at least put some sort of sauce in the damn thing. The patty was thin and barely enough for a grown man such as myself to be satisfied with. The fries were satisfactory. Probably the only good element of my meal. Although they did require a tad more salt on them than they had. Also, they were not of the right consistency, they were somewhat soggy, this denotes the oil was not at the right temperature. Lastly, the fries tasted like onion rings and so did the taco! Meaning they do not separate the oil they cook in and its dirty. A real french fry should be crispy yet have a warm to hot soft interior and should be cooked in clean oil only used for fries. I shall not eat here ever again!

Burger boy is pretty good. Better than mediocre, but I can't say spectacular. Their breakfast burritos are to die for!!! HUGE TOO! and their Chicken Quesadilla is pretty awesome. the only real thing I'd complain about are the prices. My goodness. the chicken quesadilla can run you into the $8. For a fast food joint, that's pricey.

Today I had Burger Boy's fish and chips. the fish and chips arrived at my table steaming hot and the portion was not small. The fish was good but the fries where not very tasty and I did not even want to touch the cole slaw that was on my plate. This place makes some pretty good greasy burgers. The burgers here are pretty decent as are the pastrami and the breakfast burritos. This place is a bit over priced in my opinion. I would not travel out of my way to come here (I would rather hit up an In N Out or Carl's since they serve pretty good food on a consistent basis and this place seems to be hit or miss) . Average food for greasy spoon The dining room is always very clean and the staff is always very nice. I was talking to the manager and he said Kobe Bryant cruised through the drive-thru the other night i thought that was pretty neat.

These types of establishments specialize in high fat greasy burgers and breakfast burritos of love. The ham breakfast burrito this morning was perfect. I will be back to try them again. Inside was clean also. Correction on another post, they do accept credit cards over $10.00.

Don't eat here the food is horrible. If I had to rate it my score would be negative. Pastrami tasted like it was sitting there all day. The onion ring, if that is what you want to call them were stiff.

When you're in Anaheim and craving calories while staying on a budget, this is a good greasy spoon type of joint that will satisfy. I've eaten here before & after Ducks games, and trips to Disneyland. The breakfast is good, as well as the charbroiled burgers. They have a lot on the menu to choose from including decent mexican fare as well. I've never been in the drive-thru, only eaten inside and it was a chill casual experience. It's basically your typical Charbroiled burger place with a little of this and that, and fresh food that tastes good but won't break your wallet.

Eh. My band used to practice down the road from this place and we'd stop in to get grub here every once in a while. (By every once in a while I mean when one of us was running late and forgot to eat all day and was starving when we had practice.) Places like this I'll usually just stick to the standard burger and fries and be ok. So I did. Which solidified my "Last Resort" standing with this place. The Burgers are average at best. Fries are disgusting. Like they've been using the same oil for several, several months. So yea, you're better off going up the street to Carl's Jr. At least they SOMEWHAT understand quality.

  • Paul V.

Burger was okay but I think I expected a little more out of it. It was average. Better than a fast food burger for sure but just not by much. I'd definately come back here again, there was nothing wrong with it and I left satisfied, just nothing about this establishment stood out in any kind of way to make it memorabe.

Nothing special. Thought Mex food would be better in the neighborhood, but Asada was pretty flavorless. Oh well.

One morning before starting a long day at work I decided to try out the breakfast burrito because I had read that it was good here. I pulled up to the drive-thru and ordered the B. Burrito and Damn was it HEAVY!!! it easily weighed about 2lbs!! I started eating it on my way to work and by the time I got to work I had about 1/3 left and decided to eat the rest later. I had a really long day ahead of me so quickly changed my mind and scarfed down the rest. I was hating life about 5 minutes after that cuz man did it stuff me good. I worked 12+ hrs that day without lunch or dinner!! This was the HEAVIEST BURRITO EVER! Salsa was average and the burrito lacked taste. I felt like i ordered a potato burrito and wish it had more eggs, cheese and bacon :(

The burgers are decent, however their breakfast burritos are awesome. Too bad all the employees there seem to hate their jobs. None of the ladies at the cash register ever smile. Definitely not one of the friendliest places to go to.

nasty place, don't ever come here. this would be my first and also last. food was nasty and over price. poor and rude service. Burger was all soggy, greasy meat, fish and chip was old, and too greasy, probably because they use old oil, tuna salad was all watery, old salad way over price for $9.00 tuna salad. Clerk gives rude, dirty look when asked for extra fork.

I have to admit I loved my hamburger and onions rings. Great burger, char-broiled fresh with taste like home-made onion rings. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The tomato, lettuce and onion on the burger was fresh and tasty. I give this place a 9.

  • Devin H.

This place is pretty good, but I've never tried their burgers. They have really good fajitas, and breakfast is good too. I got scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, toast, and a slice of cantaloupe. It was good, but not amazing. Don't get the salad bar; I always see little kids grabbing from it with their bare hands, and the mushrooms are canned, not fresh. Trust me, you can tell. The breakfast burritos are mostly good, except that sometimes the cheese isn't melted all the way, and by the time you get to the end of the burrito, you're left with nothing but tortilla and a thick, unmelted chunk of cheese. It's good with salsa, though. I definitely recommend the fajitas!!

eh, i agree with most of my fellow yelpers on this joint. its ok its alright. the burgers suck. they charge an arm and a leg for a doo doo burger. the only thing i like are their fries and their liquid guacamole that comes out of a big jug. YUMMERS!

Don't do it! Everything from the "English as a second language" counter person who messed my order up to the beef jerky burger that they called a hamburger makes this place a NO STAR...

Forget this place, just ordered food to the drive thru and the person taking my order rushed me like it was lunch hour or something. My car was the only one there. I arrive at the drive thru menu and the girl ask me, Can i help you? I replied i'm still deciding. 5 seconds later, "Can I help you?" I tell her I'm still deciding. Then 5 seconds later she says, "Will that complete your order?" i just start laughing in my head and thinking, WTF is this chick's problem? I reluctantly order a tacos asada plate because i been driving around for awhile. It came out to $8.57 for essentially 2 tacos. And they weren't that tasty. The way their drive thru is set up there's no space for cars behind the ordering menu so I think they force customers to order quick. She was extremely rude though. I called to complain and the manager was conveniently not around. Avoid this place yelpers.

This place is alright. First off I want to give you a tip, if you decide to come here payment system is cash only and the ATM in the corner charges $1.75 so you may want to bring cash. Last time I came I ordered the fish and chip special that included 3 huge pieces of double breaded fish on a large bed of fries with coleslaw on the side (which I did not care for) and total with tax was somewhere around $7. The tartar sauce and cocktail sauce they give you is in a big container and is tasty, but the bread on the fish tastes very plain so you have to dip it in the sauces otherwise it's quite unappealing. The serving sizes are huge it was definitely a 2 person meal, I only ate about half and gave the rest to one of the guys who buys our used equipment at work. If you are hungry this food will do the trick and fill you up. After I ate the fish I have indigestion for the rest of the day and felt like I went into a food coma, maybe it was too many carbs for me. There are better places to eat at nearby my work so I don't think I will venture here again.

OK for greasy-spoon breakfast (tip: bacon bad, sausage better). Avoid for lunch/dinner or only get enchiladas. Everything fried tastes stale.
