Great flavor. My only "complaint" is that sometimes the staff still feels like they are in training mode. Its been open for quite some time now. Oh, also they claim to deliver, but when I called one time they said they did not deliver. ??? Otherwise, food is good, and I stop by frequently for lunch or to go.

We stopped here on a road trip. Fast food, not healthy, but not horrible either. You can have veggies grilled with your meat and pick your toppings and sauce, so there are tons of combinations. The soup was not very good, a few slices of potato must it was mostly creamy broth. I was perplexed that the sandwiches are not served on a plate, so you must either eat the whole thing at once or make yourself a napkin placemat on the table. Also they don't have forks. Mine got messy towards the end so I ended up throwing it out since I had no means to eat it without looking like a cavewoman. The r&b music was really, really loud - I don't think they realized it since they are working with the fans on but it was loud in the seating area. They have a military discount here.

The quality of the main ingredients was pretty pathetic. The so-called gyro meat was just pre-frozen bits, and likewise the overly spiced so-called felafel. Hodgepodge of unrelated and unlabeled add on ingredients to choose from. 1 1/2 rounded up to 2.

Yeah I love Pita Pit. I especially love their gyros. Finally a place to get a decent gyro in town! It is a healthy alternative to the array of unhealthy options at the Yuma Palms mall. They also close at 3am Fridays and Saturdays, which is amazing if you're driving around town looking for a late night snack and are tired of the usual unhealthy stuff people usually eat at those hours. How about that drink dispenser? I love it!

Food was good and fresh. Hands above subway, real meat grilled, choice of fresh condiments. Pita was steamed and soft almost like a tortilla. I had a gyro, quite good not greasy my friend had a grilled chicken pita and was impressed with the chunks of chicken breast which were moist. I will go back.

This place is fantastic for healthy fast food! I've liked Pita Pit in other places and was glad to find one passing through Yuma. We stopped at an off peak time and the place was empty. The girl wringing up pitas was friendly, the girl making pitas seemed a little grumpy-maybe we'd interrupted her afternoon nap or something- but she made a good pita so I can't complain too much. I got a wheat pita with falafel, humus, taziki, spinach, red peppers, olives, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, pepocini, and feta. It tasted very Greek/Mediterranean and was quite enjoyable. The toppings were of generous amounts but not so much the pita couldn't hold it together!

I want to give this place 4 stars, but it was too dirty today. Employees were very courteous and friendly. Food was fresh, plentiful, nutritious and priced at a good value. I'd like to come back weekly for these reasons, but I don't think my wife will let me after seeing a roach scamper across the floor. He is only hanging out here cause it's so dirty. Store manager, have someone make regular rounds with a cleaning rag and broom then you'll be running one of the best lunch places in town.

I thought this place was promising since the Yelp reviews and the Diiiirty food chain business next door. I was greeted friendly. However, it went quickly downhill. I ordered a simple vegetable salad without meat. Funny thing, 3 different staff personal asked me what did you order? What do you want and never started to put together my order and ALL 3 employees took customers after me. WTF? After awhile that got straightened out, just to find out this is a lousy imposter for Greek food,a loud cry of a LIE. They do not carry or offer Greek or olive oil, but they do offer pickled jalapenos? Again, WTF? And their so-called tzatziki sauce is made of only supposedly Greek yogurt and cucumber. I may get slammed for this review but the reviewers who LOVE this joint for their food...you apparently have an extremely easy taste bud and palate. Thumbs way down. It was more like, the Subway chain that cost me $10 for a small veggie salad and a small drink. Portion size inadequate for the price and sabotage. I should have went to In N Out. I just stopped through during my travels. :/

You can by pass the line at peak times by downloading the "Pita Pit" app in the App Store. All of the pita sandwiches are made fresh after ordering. Almost all them are priced $6.99. Double meat is an extra$1.99, double cheese or extra bacon $.99, extra hummus is no charge A kids menus is available, as well. They've got one of the new style Coke fountain drink dispensers . (see photos). My visit, at the peak of the lunch rush, was less than 10 minutes. It's good enough to keep me coming back when I'm in the area.

We usually stop on the way to Tuscon in Yuma to get gas. We were looking for the nearby Subway but found Pita Pit instead. Probably a much better option and Subway anyways! We don't go to Pita Pit often but its actually quite tasty and has more topping options and better quality of ingredients. We had the falafel, which was better than I expected. I was definitely excited to get a falafel in each bite. You can of course also add any toppings that you want. Pita Pit is a solid healthy option when you need a quick stop on the road!

WOOHOO!!! This is the third place I have found in Yuma that offers fresh, low-cal food...OMG I have lived here since 7/2014 and I had almost given up on finding food options that were healthy and not fried. I ordered the chicken souvlaki and it comes with lettuce, tomato, taziki sauce, and a plethora of other veggies...+ hummus! It's a wee bit pricey however I think it's totally worth it and will frequent this joint since its like one of three places that offer healthy food here. So. Stoked.

Pita pit is legit. I never eat at chain restaurants unless I am forced to, but I actually don't mind pita pit at all. If you are in yuma, unless you have found a better place in The 3 days you have spent here, I would suggest pita pit.

Second time at this location. Stopped here on way back to AZ from Cali. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They were out of avacado when I made my sandwich, but a staffer was out buying more. I guess he came back with some because I was sitting down eating when they came over and gave me a side of avacado!!! Yay! They also ran out of mayo on the kids sandwiches (it's a popular item so totally understand)...so they gave us free cookies! Totally didn't have to, but will definitely keep me coming back on our many trips to CA! Well done Pita Pit!

DELICIOUS!!!!! I love this place!! Fresh and tasty sandwiches, simple menu, delicious toppings, like feta cheese and cucumber yogurt sauce!!!! Yum! All sandwiches are $ 6.99 each, this makes things so easy, pay the cashier, and meet the pita maker, order anything you want on your sandwich, cheese, sauces, anything. Love it!!! Just the right size for a healthy, delicious lunch or dinner. Fresh, great value, tons of seating, delicous serve yourself Coke fountain drinks, they are so carbonated, fresh and very flavorful. The Coke Zero is the best I've had out of the fountain. Good service too!

You have to know what you like but once you figure it out, you will be in heaven and for less than 350 calories! The staff is friendly and helpful and the food is delicious and guilt free. Wish they had one of these everywhere they have a Starbucks. We would be happier and weigh less.

Food is definitely a 5!! However, if you plan to go at noon, you better have plenty of time to spare because they're slow as hell. Not slow as in just too busy (which they are at noon) but the young folks working there seem to intentionally move slow. It's kind of perplexing. It's like they're high or really just don't care to move with any purpose..Either way the food comes our just right. Even the cookies are the bomb..
