The food is great, as always. But this location is ridiculously slow, creating long lines and a long wait.

Burrito bowl is the greatest. Had the pork with, brown rice, black beans, salsa, cheese, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce. Nothing could be more tasty!

Never had a bad experience with Chipotle. Finally figured out my "usual" order! The employees are always willing to customize your order to your exact preferences. The line moves a little slow but it's because the ingredients are added with care and not flung on like your typical Subway sub. It takes longer but I'd rather eat a burrito that isn't leaking and falling apart than save 5 minutes. They're generous with all the ingredients, especially the guacamole which is surprising. I only ask for a little but I still get a big dollop. And that's not a complaint! Always clean and employees greet you with a smile.

There were 8 employees but only one really working the supply line. On a Monday at noon you would think they would get the hint to get to work, stop fooling around stop and cracking jokes. If I were the owner I would be livid! I'm writing this in line after 15 minutes of waiting.

We love to go to Chipotle in Yuma. Veronica and Daniel are so friendly and helpful. They really want to make sure you are happy with the food. The bowls are so good. I get the chicken bowl every time I go in. Thanks for the fresh and ready to eat. Tanks again and keep up the good work.

A great manager and super friendly staff but their air vents above the food have condensation that drops into the food and prep area, especially the guacamole. I mentioned this to a worker and she shrugged her shoulders and said that its just condensation and I told her that that's just gross. Nobody wants condensation from a pipe dropping into their food!!

Great food and huge burrito but a bit on the pricy side- $10.00 for a burrito and a drink.

This has got to be the slowest Chipotle in their entire chain! About 15 people in line and it took 20 minutes to reach the counter. They are about 3 employees short for as busy as this place is. Ridiculous. I will be passing on Chipotle in Yuma in the future. The food is very good just not worth the wait .

I love chipotle! ! This location however isn't that great as far as the customer service the employees were chatting more with each other than paying attention to the customers. The eating area was dirty and when I asked them to clean a table they acted like it wasn't part of their job. Needless to since it's the only one in Yuma I go there only when I really crave it.

It's chipotle. You walk in, tell them what you want on your burrito, then die happily. That's as much as you need to know.

I love chipotle! I am pretty picky about Mexican food, seeing as I am Mexican, but this place is really good. It tastes authentic. Service is prompt and friendly. I love the fact that their ingredients are all natural. I've dined in and also ordered to go via the app, and each experience ALWAYS deserves 5 stars. I highly recommend the guacamole.

Would of been a lot better if music was not so loud! Could hardly speak across the table. Turn down the music

The food is typical chipotle. I waited 10 min because the server was too busy trying to score a date with the girl in front of me and there were no black beans. Portions were less than normal. To top it off, the cashier made some inappropriate remarks. Very unprofessional employees that need supervision. Will not be going back !!

Stumbled into the first Chipotle in Yuma on the second day it was open. It's a chain, of course, so I rarely feel like giving a lot of stars; you get chain-quality (read: cheap) food, except a little better (because Chipotle is all about natural ingredients). This location is sure to be very busy between those new to the experience and people who want a quick alternative to the In-N-Out across the parking lot. It's also a good option for lunch when Red Lobster seems too time-consuming or expensive. It is very clean and I hope it stays that way. The staff seems comfortable and eager to impress. I have never loved Chipotle but it doesn't usually disappoint. The ingredients are pretty fresh. It seems like this Chipotle has less selection than I've seen from other locations, so perhaps it is their strategy for newer locations to start with the basics. I would like a better selection of bottled drinks, but like I said - I bet a new roll-out has fewer options. The drinks were not out for display like I have seen elsewhere but I did see beer and bottled drinks on the menu. The huge queue I waited in was worth it over the food court nearby and even the In-N-Out I'm used to stopping at when I'm in town. For being a chain, it's pretty good and worth four stars, especially because the staff was very nice.

Just ok. Wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again. They do serve margaritas that weren't bad.

I will never go to this establishment ever again! For $23 my husband and I got 2 drinks and 3 tacos each. Their prices are way too high. Also the tacos my husband and I got were horrible in every way. I was only able to eat 1 and tossed the other two in the trash. It was disgusting!! My husbands tacos were soggy for whatever reason and when he picked one up it literally fell apart. The lady even put toppings on my husbands taco that he didn't want so he had to take out the lettuce. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the service was quick. Lesson learned..taco stands is the way to go for better tasting food for less.

Chipotle is Chipotle. It's pretty good and an excellent Americanized Mexican Fast Food joint. I much prefer it over Taco Bell and Del Taco. Although there isn't much variety and the price is pretty expensive, it's good to indulge yourself once in awhile. Other then that, I recommend the Barbacoa, as it provides the most flavorful meat out of the various choices. The funny thing about Chipotle is that they give out free tortillas so you might as well ask for some and get a bowl instead of a burrito. They cost the same anyways. That way you can get 2 burritos instead of one. They usually pack the burrito to obscene amounts, and the they don't skimp on the bowl either.

After many years of wishing and praying, Yuma finally gets a Chipotle. If you don't know Chipotle is a national chain that started up in Colorado many years ago. They pride themselves in natural ingredients and it shows in their final product. Now you might be saying "another Mexican joint Yuma already has 1000's" and that there is no place for Chipotle. Well they call themselves a Mexican Grill and it is definitely a different feel then your typically Mexican joint in Yuma. There is only really three items on the menu, Tacos, Burritos and salad (a burrito without the tortilla) and just like In-n-Out they do the simple items very well. For me, I go for the burrito with steak and black beans. Never fails. The tacos with chicken are always a good second choice. You can order online which makes it nice to pick up on your way home from work. You can order via their webpage or their smartphone app. Even if you don't like Mexican give Chipotle a try you might actually like it. :)

It's Chipotle, it's always delicous. I love a good burrito bowl with a coke zero on the side. I was pretty excited to see that there was one right off I-8, a perfect food stop when driving through Yuma. Way way way better than gas station food.

Great service and fresh, tasty food. Had a chicken salad and everything was good. Didn't get a lot of food and left full but not stuffed.

Cool atmosphere, simple concept, and fresh food. However, nothing to get excited about, especially after you see your total. Spent about $25 for two bowls and two grapefruit sodas?! Wow. Rather go to several other places in town to get kick a$$ food for waaay less. Marketing is great and I'd go back. Just don't see myself going very often.

Wow!! What a dissapointment!! After waiting to finally eat here I found the food to be bland, boring and frankly not worth the money. I will not be back anytime soon. We have better local burros than this chain. Dont believe the marketing!

We are big Chipotle fan........but not this restaurant. We've been to many in California and always loved it. We kept going back to the Yuma location thinking it was new, and they needed to get the kinks out. In all three visits, the chips have been stale. On our last visit we were enjoying our meal when very loud music came on abruptly. It went from zero background noise to extremely loud instantly. My wife said to the young gal at the cash register that we didn't care for the loud so called music. She only got a unfriendly stare for a response. You couldn't have a conversation across the table. We've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because of just opening, but today was our last attempt. We're not hard to please, but only care for fresh food that we can enjoy in a pleasant atmosphere.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
