We visit this restaurant at least once a week. I LOVE their green sauce! Everything is made from scratch - none of that out-of-the-bag guacamole. Their menu lists the usual Mexican cuisine, but influenced by old family recipes. The place is very clean, the prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. We think it's the best Mexican food in Wickenburg.
Good mexican food. Stopped in with some girlfriends for lunch before heading to a ranch near this location. They were pretty empty, and I think we were the youngest crew in there. The food did not disappoint. I recommend the green chili and cheese fry bread! Yum!
Yummy food, great service, highly recommend! Ordered for pick up food for 8 people and they got it all right with a good price too. Highly recommend the enchilada combo!

I'm glad to have given this place a try! Mother's Day weekend, the family and I went on a little Sunday drive and had just hit Wickenburg when the hunger pangs started. This was a great little find! The salsas were very good, something that seems to be rare in these here parts. I don't think we ever saw the bottom of our chip basket or our water glasses, the service was so attentive. Our table ordered nachos, an ala carte taco, shredded beef chimichanga and the quesadilla. The nachos were loaded with toppings and a healthy dollop of sour cream and guacamole. Oh, how I love it when a place isn't stingy with their guac! The beef inside the chimichanga was delicious, and the outside was perfectly cooked - light and crispy. I tried to sneak a taste of the quesadilla, but I was nearly stabbed with a fork, so I take that as a sign that it was pretty darn good. But the star of the show was certainly the taco. I opted for ground beef, but they have a choice of shredded beef, ground beef and chicken. I'm sure this thing would be good if it were filled with stinky gym socks. The shell is no pre-packaged, grocery store shell. Oh no sir. It was fabulously crispy and held the filling very well. No soggy bottoms here! After the great service and great food, they went above and beyond when it was time to pay the bill. I was given a lovely yellow rose for Mother's Day! It was such a nice gesture! This is definitely now on our go-to list of places to eat when we're in Wickenburg!
Food was fresh, service was attentive, ambiance was family oriented and nice. This place deserves being ranked one of the top eateries in Wickenburg, but unfortunately it's relative to a low bar. My wife and kids ordered tostadas. I ordered the pork chops. They didn't have the pork chop (we came here for lunch), so I ordered the carne asada instead. My wife and kids reported that the tostadas were a bit bland. My steak was seasoned with the steak seasoning you buy at the supermarket. All in all, we were glad to stop by and we would come again. Be sure to have your bar calibrated to small town restaurants before you get too excited about the 4.5 rating.
I enjoyed this spot for lunch. They serve complimentary chips and salsa before the meal. The chips were nice and warm and the salsa was fresh. They served two types of salsa and a bean dip which was great as well. I ordered the tri-colored enchiladas, one beef, one cheese and one chicken. The shredded beef was great. The red enchilada sauce was different than what I am used to. It was not spicy at all but was flavorful and good. The green enchilada sauce was a little tart. It seemed to be more tomitillo based rather than green chili based. The cheese enchilada was good also. They used cojita cheese rather than a cheddar so it lacked in flavor somewhat. The beans were great, they had a slight smokey flavor. The service was very good and everyone was friendly. I would love to go back when I can try the margaritas as they boast about how great they are. All in all, a great local place with good food that isn't the same as everywhere else.

There is a reason why this was voted as the best place to stop on a road trip by AZ Highway magazine. Deb the owner is great and takes you back to a time where things were a little slower and personable. There is nothing on the menu that you could go wrong with but the "El Burro" is definitely a favorite when I'm not in the mood for the world-class biscuits and gravy...and yes when she says you really should order the half-portion, she means it.
Best omelet in town, interesting people but fun no matter what. Slow food but worth the wait.. A++ recommended
LOVE this place! Small town breakfast and lunch joynt featured in Arizona Highways a few years back. Everything we've had here was fantastic, and we just keep going back. The pancakes are absolutely delicious, and the biscuits and gravy? Oh Em Gee. 1/2 order is enough for my hubby and I to share (and STILL have some for take home), and he gets an omelet and I get a Barrel Racer. And Dot, the owner, is a small, red-haired cowgirl who knows how to treat her customers. FIVE STARS. No, really.

Excellent burgers and shakes! The sides (fries, onions rings, etc) are HUGE. Seems to be family owned and run. A great stop between Phoenix and Vegas!
Fun little place out in the middle of nowhere. I don't think I would make a detour for this place in the future.. But if you are in the area it isn't to bad. The Onion rings weren't very good. The burgers were pretty tasty and the fries were good. Overall kind of greasy.. But again, not a bad spot if you are in the area..
Not just my favorite burgers in Wickenburg, my favorite in Arizona. Large burgers made to order with fresh beef, no processing, just a cook with a flat top and a spatula. The portions of the side-orders are enough for two. You always have to wait for your food, but that is because the meat does not hit the grill until you order it.

Well, I hate to be the negative one. :( I can't speak for many dishes because I've only been once: I ordered the chorizo and eggs plate ($6.99) with potatoes and toast. The chorizo was wet mush (hardly cooked, actually I don't know if they cooked it at all) and the eggs were also undercooked. I tried a bite of the chorizo and immediately knew it wasn't safe to eat and ate what I could of the eggs (viscous clear egg white still present, uncooked). The server never asked why I hardly touched my plate, but I also didn't say anything unprompted. I'm not sure whether I was nauseated later in the day because it was undercooked or because I simply was grossed out by it all, but there you go. I will likely be back to try a different plate, but am posting this review to strongly advise those who are considering the chorizo plate to reconsider. My family all seemed to enjoy their breakfast, but were obviously concerned about what was placed in front of me. I have to admit, the severity to which I was disturbed by my plate distracted me from noticing anything else about Spurs (atmosphere, service). So when/if I come back, the review will be more thorough. Another time, Spurs. Please cook the chorizo thoroughly. It is pork, after all.
Got there for lunch around 2, didn't know they were closing. But was able to get a sandwich anyway. To make it easy I had the special Cordon Blue sandwich came with frys and a pickle. It was good. The service was good and friendly even though they were trying to cleanup and close. It's a cozy place a short distance from the busyness of downtown. Plenty of parking if you are in RV or truck.
such a great atmosphere, the owners are hands on at really take pride in their restaurant! A MUST stop in Wickenburg!

We have been coming here for the last 12 years or so and have never been disappointed. Not sure why folks pour into McDonald's when this place is just a few doors down... Try the Double cheeseburger and shoestring fries that are to die for. Or the Sundance sub (hot) with crispy bread and onions, tomatoes, lettuce and meat/cheese. Also, bonus of a nice Saturday night or Sunday morning drive to wickenburg from the west valley.
Love this place. They are always good to the kids. They treat you like you belong. Some restaurants don't. There pizza is great. There ice cream as well. Live in Surprise and it is well worth the drive and there prices aren't bad also.
How can you resist a nice cold treat on a warm AZ spring afternoon? Well I couldn't and went straight to Tastee Freez and got a frozen Kona Coffee drink. It was awesome and hit the spot. A few friends of mine got other items such as ice cream and soft serve. All looked good. Never tried any of their pizzas though. Well not much to say here just this is good old fashion ice cream in an old fashion country city. How couldn't it get 4 stars??

Stopped here the other night while in town. I can't eat dairy so this caused some problems while ordering food (which is usual anyway). I got fried mushrooms and zucchini and it was very yummy. I got the steak sandwich without cheese and it was kind of plain tasting. The bread was homemade and the steak was juicy.
Oh my goodness. This place is Great!!!! I have been driving through Wickenberg for 30 years and never knew of this place. See Dave! What a charming man. Stop. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Oh my god. Couldn't be better. I love it!!!!!!!!!!
Waitress, Linda, was really sweet. She gave us a little background about the place, it was nice to hear about how the place came to be. The pizza was delicious. Crust was thin with a nice crunch, perfect. and toppings were flavorful. The wings were great too! Nice and crispy, we got Hot and they were traditional with a nice bite. Next time I drive through I'll make sure to have Qorris Be a guaranteed pit stop!

Glad they are open in the summer time. Service was great and fast. Food was good and tasty and delivered promptly. Prices are affordable. I would come back here to try other items on the menu.
I teetered on the edge of a one star review but I have actually had worse Chinese food, so two stars it is. I'm a bit surprised at all of the glowing reviews I see here because I've eaten at Sizzling Wok three times now and have never had a positive experience, each successive meal I've endured worse than the last, the pain-hazed death march that was my final meal from this restaurant being the reason for this review. My previous two dining experiences with Sizzling Wok rating sub-par at best, I went back to the well for a third, fateful time in hopes that it was mere chance that my first two meals were disappointing. This time I ordered take-out rather than dining in, as my last experience with dining in at Sizzling Wok consisted of my mother and I sitting uncomfortably in a completely empty restaurant with an impatient greeter/waitress/cook/cashier sitting across the room from us waiting for us to finish so she could close up and go home or do whatever it was she seemed to be blaming us for keeping her from. I ordered Lemon Chicken and the Ten-Ingredient Fried Rice along with an order of Crab Angels thinking, "No one can screw these classics up." Wrong. Wrong. And, OK it's almost impossible to botch crab wontons. The Lemon Chicken consisted of unseasoned chunks of chicken fried in tempura on a bed of cabbage(?), with a slice of lemon and a cup of lemon-flavored (I think) syrup, so bland as to make the McDonald's Chicken McNuggets my two-year-old daughter so adores seem like they came from a Michelin Star-rated chef. The Ten-Ingredient Fried Rice looked appetizing but the shrimp was close to its expiration date and tasted like it, and the ham/pork/canadian bacon cubes (or whatever they were) were so foul that I spit the first one that went into my mouth out and double-checked to make sure it wasn't something that had accidentally fallen in the rice. Needless to say that was as far as I got. My two-year-old daughter would not even touch the stuff, refusing to swallow the spoonful I made her take before I had tasted it. I will admit that my dog happily devoured it, but it is a bit pricey for terrier food. The Crab Angels were the only redeeming part of the meal and they were just OK. Kind of soggy rather than crisp but otherwise OK. I would give them a generous three stars, the Lemon Chicken two stars and the Fried Rice a very dismal one star. Needless to say this will be my last dining experience at Sizzling Wok. I cannot recommend anyone eat there unless they have very hungry dogs.
Great food and service. I have eaten here a few times and everytime I come in, Mae the owner remembers me and greets me warmly - asks how my husband is doing etc. This past time, I ordered the Moo Shu Chicken - large portion - took home leftovers

Food is good but way understaffed at lunchtime
My veggie foot long was so fresh. The girl who made my sub even changed her gloves before making it. Food and service is good. I will definitely stop by this place when I go to Vegas or on my way back to Phoenix.
What the heck?! Am I living in some alternate universe than the other reviewers?! This is THE BEST Subway I've ever been to and I frequent it often. Here is why I know this business is SO worthwhile and continues to improve. 1. They were the Arizona Store of the Year in 2010. Nuff said. 2. The veggies are ALWAYS fresh. The one time it was not, I commented on it and the sandwich artist threw out the batch and brought out new stuff. 3. The tomatoes here are always ripe and red-- none of that mealy, underripe texture. 4. The store is clean and well kept. They always greet you when you walk in the door. 5. No matter how busy they get, I'm never frustrated by the wait, nor am I told that they are out of anything. Anytime you have a problem or a concern, ask to speak to the manager, Tommy. He has turned this place around (both aesthetically and in it's service). As a manager, he goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are happy.

Oh yes, you gotta come here! We are in & out of Wickenburg several times a year. We tried to hit this place for goat roping in the spring but we were too late. Well, it's going to be starting up next again next month and we're hoping to get to see it this time. In the mean time, go on in and enjoy the friendly staff and great food! We met one of the two owners, Kim, and she is a doll. My hubby got the catfish sandwich and claims it's the best fish sandwich he's ever had. I got the soup and half sandwich which was an outstanding meatball soup and turkey & cheese sandwich. The turkey was piled high! We WILL be back - goat roping or not! BTW, they will be starting up their "season" this weekend with live music the first Friday of the month, karaoke on Saturdays and call them for the goat roping schedule! Yeehaaaa
Weird. I left the Mecca and decided to come to the Feed Company... But there was a cockroach in their bathroom that came out of the drain in the stand up urial. At least it didn't have chewing tobacco that was a couple days old on it.
I couldn't have been happier to find the feed bag. We stopped into two other places before finding this one. The other places were filthy, had a poor beer selection, and in one we overheard the waitress say she wanted to quit. I just wanted some good beer and a little snack. I had the taco appetizer and a delicious local microbrew. The bartender was charming, the food tasty, the atmosphere was fun, and the restrooms were very clean. It was a really fun part of our visit to Wickenburg.
