I have so missed you Waffle House. I moved from the South where they are everywhere to California where they are absent. Thank you Tucson. The food was as always just greasy enough. Half of what I love about Waffle House is nostalgia. I was craving some scattered, covered, chunked and diced, they delivered.

Stop in along the way on road trip and like it here very much. Staff was very friendly and greeted me right away. Ordered fiesta omelet comes with hash browns & toast total came to about 10.00 bucks. It was very good taste great. Definitely will come back next time in town.

The establishment is in a sketchy part of town. Seating area is very limited but the food makes up for everything. I'm pretty easy to please and not demanding when it comes to my food. Hash browns are delicious! Definitely recommend them smothered. Overall, best breakfast of my life. It saddens me that we don't have these in California.

We are regulars to only this location even though I live on the way east side of town. We will only eat at this particular location. It is pretty darned good. They used to have a chef that really impressed is though. They are still decent now though.

Best place to eat breakfast in Tuscon. Great portions, friendly people, it is a fantastic resturant. Thank you for making this Californian boy feel great. Even the manager busses the tables! Class act all the way.

The food was delicious! The service was awesome! I'm from Cali and this was by far my best dinning experience I had since arrival! The server was quick and accurate, we didn't have to repeat the order, she was amazing!

Friendly service, really good food! Wonderful welcoming atmosphere.. from the time we walked in, we were greeted immediately by someone and greeted by the staff behind the counter. We were seated immediately and out server, Farrah, made us feel right at home with recommendations. there were five of us, including two 6-year olds. the food took a little longer than we would have hoped, Farrah kept us in the loop and was apologetic since the kids were getting rambunctious. Once the food came, all was forgotten. it was really good! the waffles were a little soft - our group agreed, but still a yummy meal. All in all, a great visit, good food, friendly good karma kind of service and $30 for five of us!!

So bad. Went for a late night meal after a night out... I definitely did not have enough to drink to make this food good. I had the pecan waffle with chocolate chips, it just turned into a hot mess. Would not recommend.

Damn shame I had to be way out of state to finally try this place. I wish we had some in California. I have heard some horrible reviews of this place but I wanted to try it for myself. I didn't have any issues with it. The food was good, the service was good. I love breakfast so I wanted to try the waffles. I got a lil bit of everything and finished it all. I will go back when I go to AZ again.

The Waffle house get outta town, evidently most of the people who come here are from outta town near and far. It is usually not my first pick, but when I remember the warm reception I get from the Waffle queen hostess with the mostest, I am reminded why I like the place. Always greeted with a smile and the staff with their uniforms and shirts all tucked in reminds me of the old Orange and Blue Howard Johnson's or Hojo's ( Pleasantly reminded as of late by watching this last season of Madmen again). 3 egg's and hash-browns smothered, and peppered is what I get, I love sitting and watching them cook my food, of which I am pretty hip on, no telling what goes on in the back of some places. I like being able to see my food being cooked weather it is a street vendor in Burma or chief's table in Manhattan, it's all good to me. So if your okay with hanging out with the truck drivers, family vacationer, and other vagabonds head on down to 22nd street and I-10 baby for a treat for the open minded breakfaster.

All of the servers were very friendly. They greeted everyone entered. My server checked on me regularly and made sure my coffee cup never went dry. Excellent experience

I did not care for this place. The service wasn't very good maybe because they were super busy. When my food came out it was cold so I really wasn't thrilled about that. I went for breakfast one morning just because we had never tried it before. I honestly won't be going back.

This place is pretty much a typical road-side diner, a type of restaurant which seems to be dying out in favor of joints like Denny's and IHOP. I realize that Waffle House is a chain much like those establishments, but Waffle House does it better and it doesn't feel like your typical chain. I had the T-Bone steak dinner simply because there was a sign up that said something to the effect that Waffle House had served the most t-bone steaks in the country. I ordered it medium-rare and that's exactly how it came. It was a nice thin cut and tasted excellent with some Heinz 57. The dish came with some tasty toast as well as a generous portion of hash-browns, which I wasn't too big of a fan of. A small dinner salad was included as well, which was pretty decent. I also had a pecan waffle for dessert, which was DELICIOUS. All in all, a nice little place with decent food and excellent service.

I've always loved Waffle House. It reminds me of late drunken nights when I was a youngin'. After a night out at the bar we would always go to Waffle House and chow down on their nice greasy food because of the 24 hour advantage. . Anywho, tonight (not drunk, but late) we decided to eat here, because it was right down the street from our hotel. I had what I always get, chicken patty which comes on toast with onions and cheese and hash browns. I got them smothered covered and capped. (onions, cheese and mushrooms) Satisfying as usual. The waitress was really sweet. She's from Georgia so she's super polite. I also needed a 24 hour drugstore and when I asked for one they got the whole staff involved in telling us where the closest one was. Nice folks. Cheap and greasy. Win.

Ate there two days running. Breakfast Special was epic! Service is awesome. Karen is the best as is the entire WH crew.

Went here last night for dinner and will NEVER eat here again. I really wish I didn't have to give this place 1 star because the service and food sucked. The waitress was nice but should not be serving food. I hate saying that but she forgot our drinks and even part if the order. She realized she forgot the drinks and asked if we wanted them after we were finished eating. I figured that at least the waffles would be good being that, that is their standard...I was wrong mine was pretty toasty, I have had waffles much better come out of my toaster. When we received the check I gave the waitress my credit card and she told me I had to go to register, even after the mess with my order. If you are traveling through keep going down there is a in-n-out and a Costco further down the freeway...wish I had remembered!

pretty darn good for what it is. i went here for the all american breakfast since i wasn't too familiar with tucson. basically had the 10oz t-bone steak with hashbrowns, eggs, and toast. very good service and very attentive people working there. not much i can say other than, I like the pancake house in millbrae, ca better.

I had chocolate chip waffles and cheese hash browns and scrambled eggs and biscuits. Totally customizable in a lot of ways. I was partial to my biscuit/jam/egg sandwich. 24 hours means a whole lot of awesome, and often. I wish they had one in Los Angeles... although it was perfect road trip food.
