When I first came into the Baskin Robbins on Speedway, I saw that the OPEN neon sign had not been lit up. I told the crew member in charge at the time (his name was Terry), and he just replied with a completely ungracious "sorry" instead of a gracious "thanks for letting me know! I'll turn it on." I had my receipt from a previous ice cream purchase, which was good for $1 off any purchase of $4 or more if I did the survey and got a validation code afterwards (which I did). I wanted to go for a double-scoop, which was $3.89. When he was going to ring me up, he told me the $1 off was not valid because the double scoop was less than $4. I told him that with the tax, it was going to be over $4 and that other crew members accepted the $1 off. He adamantly refused and said that the $4 doesn't include tax. Umm excuse me, but it said any PURCHASE of $4 or more! By definition, purchase means what you paid, and that INCLUDES tax! Unfortunately, Terry had a completely different definition of purchase in his mind. Anyways he gave me the option of adding an extra topping for 99 cents, but I decided I wanted the two-scoop sundae instead (which was $4.29). So he threw away the double-scoop (luckily that didn't cost me anything) and got me the two-scoop sundae. When he asked me what toppings I wanted, I told him my three choices. He told me he would have charged me an extra $2 if he went heavy on the toppings since the cup would overflow, but there was still plenty enough room for more! I really didn't like his attitude at the time; I felt like he was trying to be nice on the outside, but was probably venting his anger at someone who looked like his enemy. I just told him it was fine to go light on the toppings since I didn't want to pay extra. And it didn't end there. While I was eating my sundae, another customer came in to order a two-scoop sundae as well. Also, it was on a Wednesday. Why did I mention this day of the week? At the time I made this order, Baskin Robbins was doing a promo on BOGO Wednesdays where if you purchase a two-scoop sundae, you get another one FREE. I didn't realize it until Terry reminded that customer. I then thought to myself, "How could he remind her of that promo, but he didn't remind me?" It was completely messed up. I missed out on my free sundae when that other customer didn't because Terry reminded the promo to her, but not me. I thought Baskin Robbins was a place to make kids happy. Well they didn't make me happy on that trip, and once my gift card expires, I'll be looking elsewhere to enjoy my favorite dessert (ever heard of Brushfire's Ice Creamery? Best frozen dessert in all of Southern Arizona...and I'm not even joking). Baskin's ice cream is great, but that's the only good thing I can say about this Baskin Robbins. If they sold anything else, it would definitely be a ONE star.

Ugliest location I've ever seen and incredibly bad staff. I had to go to the public park behind the place to use a restroom. I was so frustrated I refused to eat any of the ice cream my family bought while I went searching for the restroom. We stop here frequently but it seems to get worse and worse. Dairy Queen or Cold Stone is where I'll be taking my money from now on. Have fun going out of business.

German chocolate cake ice cream. Pretty good since I cant make the stuff. Pretty terrible yet pretty standard for a $2 scoop of ice cream over lunch break. I cant hate now that we've all been spoiled by Coldstone's/Marble Slab/etc etc. This is 1990's fabulous!

No customer service. I had a coupon for buy one sundae, get another of equal or lesser value for $0.99. I showed the counter person my coupon, and we ordered 2 2-scoop sundaes. It should have been $4.98 plus tax. I got charged $6.06 plus tax. I even had the counter person call Kim, the manager, and then spoke to Kim myslef to say that even though the computer was programmed not to accept coupons, she could surely override it. Not possible she said. [Anyplace out, if they couldn't override the computer, they would have voided the sale and rung up one sundae and then a $0.99 cone so I would get the value of the deal.] The freezer was also broken, so only half of the ice cream flavors were available. All in all, this is an establishment whose management just doesn't care about the customer, and I got ripped off by 20% of my bill. I call it consumer fraud. I won't go back, even though it is close. The ice cream store at Campbell just south of Speedway has better ice cream and an owner who really cares about the customers. (She previously had a BR franchise, and when she moved to an independent store, her customers followed for good reason.)

This place has been here for at least 2 decades. Not much has really changed about it. The ice cream was good (flavor wise, consistency etc) - staff was OK. Asked if we'd like to sample anything. Also explained the difference between 31 degrees, and soft serve. The one thing that I hate about this place is that the bloody machines are loud as crap. There is this constant drone in the place that makes it difficult to talk or to feel cozy. Interior and building are well beyond their expire dates. This place could be refurbed into a hip and cool hang-out. The prices are fairly high all things considered. $4 and change for 2 scoops in a cup.

The staff are horrible, but the flavours are what matter, right? Right!?!? So, this place has been here forever, and it shows. It's right next door to a tuxedo shop, and inside looks like its still in the 90's, but the icecream is cold and overall not badly prices. If you want good icecream, come here. If you don't like people who don't care about the customer, never come here.

Ignore the fact that it's not local, it's "dessert" (which I don't eat) and it's dairy (which I def. don't eat)... all that aside it was still horrible. I'll break it down: ME: Can I get a kids scoop of half mint chip, half chocolate peanut butter? CRUMMY EMPLOYEE: (sharply) No, you can get two kids scoops. ME: Hmmm, I don't really want two kids scoops, just give me one of the chocolate peanut butter. Hey is that something new? Whenever I'm craving those two flavors it's never been an issue. CE: (even sharper) We're not supposed to do it. (as she slams the case shut and throws my cup onto the counter. That was all it took to write this place off. There are far better places, many of them local, if I want to curl up in the corner sick, I'll take me lactose business elsewhere. Customer service people, it goes a long way with me. Novel... I know.

I went there several times for their caramel blasts.. I was not really satisfied how they made my drink compare to I had one from another Baskin Robins. The cost of my drink was expensive but it was NOT worth because they did not MAKE it taste right. Just FYI

Today I got Banana Royale Sundae. The staff was very helpful and quick. It is nice going somewhere the staff actually perform service.

I walked into this location and joked with the associate about how they were texting during work.. Little to my knowledge this was actually going to benefit my purchase! They offered me a discount for not mentioning that I saw anything haha.. My friend ordered 4 scoops of rocky road and I got 1 scoop of mint chocolate chip and 1 scoop of cookie dough. The lovely part of it all? We were only charged for 4 scoops instead of 6 [: Woohoo! I love you BR

My partner went here the other day to get a birthday cake for his mom. Yeah, he waited until the last minute..... He went in right when they opened and they had 3 cakes on display. The problem with this was they were each over $30.00 and SMALL. He also said the girl that worked there was not very helpful. I sent him to Nadine's instead and he got a delicious cake, almost twice as big for $23.00.
