Starbucks drive-through nightmare. I usually love this STARBUCKS drive-through. I don't know what was happening last night around 9PM. I ordered my normal Oprah Chai Tea Latee. I was in my car behind another customer and waited so long that I shut my car off twice. When I fonally got to the window, the barista had the wrong order and had to make mine. Then I waited another 15 minutes and the drin was not soy milk. So, I couldn't drink it until I got home amd took a LACTAID tablet. I will never go to this DTARBICKS location again!

You know, I have never reviewed a Starbucks, but I just had to in this case. I didn't even go into the store as they had a drive-through window. There was a long line but I had enough time to wait, so I did. The thing is, I didn't really have to wait! This line moved so fast it was hard to believe! There were no less than 7 cars in front of me, and my total wait-time was, and I am not exaggerating, maybe 3 minutes! I was astounded at the efficiency of their staff in this case. Good job, guys!!

Maybe there is something drastically wrong with us, but we simply cannot understand why people flock to Starbucks. Having just had a great cup of coffee at home, made with Costco coffee beans, the coffee at this Starbucks which cost ridiculously for a cup of coffee, tasted no better than what we had just brewed. The scone was anything but a scone but more like corn bread. The place was packed with no seats available. The sandwiches offered at the counter, which also had no prices on them, looked like vending machine sandwiches. If there could be a MacDonalds of coffee places, this would certainly qualify. In fact the $.50 seniors coffee at MacDonalds is basically as good as what we had at Starbucks!

This is a solid starbucks location. I've been countless times and never had a service problem or excessive waiting. Yes there's always a time where you wait 15 minutes for one reason or another but that is expected. I think that this location has better service than others and the baristas are really nice. When I mention that I'm trying to get gold membership they ask if I want to ring up each item individually to get more stars! Very nice and I will continue to come here often.

When thinking about reviewing a place, I find it's important to consider the time and location. I've visited this Starbucks twice on weekday mornings around 8am. The drive thru is BUSY. I wait about 12-15 min in total. With that being said, service is friendly and correct. No issues for me me report, would visit again but will be ready to wait.

I ordered a mini double chocolate chip frap and they took 15 minutes to make it. Slow costumer service, I usually never have problems with them, but today they had really bad service. Won't be going back for a while, which sucks because it's 2 minutes away from my job

Trapped in drive thru for almost 25 minutes!!!!! Only a few cars ahead of me. Would have felt better if they felt a little bad about it, maybe a free drink next visit or "sorry for the wait"????

Very disappointed in my experience there. I bought two caramel frappuccinos and they were nothing but ice and foam when I got home I had to brew my own coffee to add to it. I will not go back to that location

I love that this Starbucks is on my way to work. Whenever I go the Batista's are always friendly with a smile on their faces. The line inside and the drive through always go quickly even in the morning when everyone seems to need that cup of delicious coffee. This location is also a great place to stay and read, study, or just sit and enjoy your coffee. It is always quiet enough with a very pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for keeping me awake and alert at work!

I felt like I was annoying the staff whenever I asked for anything. They didn't have any cream out so I asked for some and the girl just turned around to get some. Then I also had to ask for sugar and the guy was almost arguing with me that there should be some at the carousel. I had just checked and it seemed like he didn't believe me.

Wow! Where do I start? Hmm.. Let's just start with this. I've been going to Starbucks nearly ever day of my life for the last.. oh,12 years. Customer service is something that is a hallmark component of the Starbucks experience, and that being said, this Starbucks is downgright pitiful. I would have given this 0 stars if I could have. Besides the location being entirely inconvenient, the tiny parking lot, the poor layout of the store, and lack of seating, I honestly tried so hard to like this Starbucks. It's the only one on my way to work (besides Park Mall) and if you're like me, a morning without Starbucks makes for a very bad day. I was never entirely "wowed" by this location... and this past Saturday morning I was absolutely disgusted. I went in on a Saturday morning. The line was pretty long, but luckily I left early on my way to work so I didn't mind the wait. I have been drinking the same beverage for over 6 years. At this point, I know exactly what it should look like inside the plastic iced venti cup. I place my order, and I suppose the barista behind the register forgot her morning coffee, because I had to repeat my order to her 3 times. After ensuring the order is correct, she rings it up and I pay with my Starbucks Gold Card. Then I wait. and wait...... and wait. After about 10 minutes, I see a male barista holding a venti cup with what looks like espresso in there... Something about espresso, after about 10 seconds of being pulled, if you dont *do* something with it (drink it, pour it over ice, mix it with something), the espresso will "burn". The barista took his time while reading the cup to try to decode the drink order, then commenced to putting ice inside the cup. Watching him, the entire time, I already knew it wasn't right. He then drowned the espresso in milk and put it on the bar and attempted to call out the order. I approach the bar, and simply tell him 'I'm sorry, that's not right. Can I please just have a refund?" The whole time, the store is getting busier and busier. at this time, the line is to the door. Barista tells me "you hve to get a refund at the register".... Did he ask what was wrong with my drink? No. Did he offer to fix it? No. Did he acknowledge that I may be a little short on time after waiting 10 minutes for a drink and that waiting 10 more minutes in line to get my money back was simlply not an option? No. Simply put, this barista could not care less. Ok I know I'm dragging this on and on.. But I know for a fact that one of Starbucks' goals is to have such consistency with every store that every visit should be just as quality as the other. This was the breaking point of this store. I at that point called the Starbucks Customer Service number, lodged a formal complaint, and will be in contact with the district manager regarding this. So yeah, I waited in line again. I got my refund, and I will never ever be visiting this store again. I will tell everyone I know about my horrible experience here relentlessly. To the barista that attempted to make my drink, I think your name is Brian. Never have I ever been so disgusted by anyone's lack of customer service. You deserve a gold star for failure. If this is the way you treat the customers that give you a paycheck every two weeks, then, my friend, I don't foresee such a bright outlook in your future. I will continue to go out of my way to work to the Starbucks on Speedway and Country Club--- by far the best in town.

It was Starbucks. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. That said, the guy either wasn't listening or couldn't hear me when I ordered my drink because when I got it, it was missing the ingredient from the title, lol. It wasn't a big deal, but I'll make sure it's right next time. It's the only thing I like there. My husband's annoying and likes to pour his own milk in his coffee because his milk to coffee ratio is never what the barista's would expect. Not a big deal, but the carafes were all behind the counter, so he asked and they handed him a gallon of Great Value (Wal-Mart brand) milk. C'mon, it's $5 cups of coffee, use a name brand! ;) We sat outside and enjoyed ourselves. So, three stars.

Hands down the worst drive thru experience EVER!! Not only did it take me OVER TWENTY MINUTES to get TWO SIMPLE drinks but the guy was super short with me and I swear it would have killed him to smile. I would NEVER send ANYONE there nor will I ever return.

That's right...locals beware I am up-ing a star for a corporate MONSTER!!! But for good reason. First off. I have a friend that works here. So it's nice that I can go and work and catch up with her when she has some down time. That's really the only reason I hit up this Starbucks. Anyway, now that I feel justified...I went in today wanting some tea, but the register was down. The cashier tried to fiddle with a bunch of things, pressed buttons galore, but nothing seemed to work. Rather than have me wait for a manager to come over, she politely gave me my tea, sent me on my way, and said it was on the house. I would have waited. I was so impressed and appreciative of that small gesture. Now it's time to pay it forward. Know Before You Go: It's in a strip with a bunch of other things so the parking situation can be dicey. I don't mind parking across the way near Ross and walking, which is probably a good idea if you're planting a seat at Starbucks for hours on end.

This is a great Starbucks- quick lines, great outdoor seating. The drive-through can get clown-packed during peak times, but that's life. The staff is also amazing- friendly, quick. I bought a mug for a friend as a Christmas gift and the cashier gave me extra tissue and a bag to wrap it. They definitely go above and beyond!

needed a place to sit down and study and found myself on this side of town (away from my usual starbucks). i sat in this starbucks for about three hours and the team here really handles a busy crowd! all the staff was super friendly and the barista made sure my drink(s) were tasty, just the way i like it. i also like that there were quite a few places to sit down at. some starbucks just don't have enough sit-down room.

This starbucks is ok, it's a bit small and crowded. Especially when there is a lot of customers. I used to come here to do homework but it just got too packed for me. It was conveniently close to me, but I've come to chosen a better place to go do my homework.

This is my favorite Starbucks in Tucson. The staff are always friendly, my orders have always been correct, and they accept Starbucks gift cards (Not all locations accept gift cards). I like the outside patio, since I always find the drive-thru is packed. It's a great place to meet up with friends and they have couches and many tables for groups. I would recommend this location.

Best most favorite coffee including coffee beans to purchase for home brewing (unground of course!) We like their Pikes, Veranda (blonde) and Guatamala/Antigua.

This place used to be one of my favorite starbucks, but ever since the one owner/manager lady left and different one took over it has gone to crud. While it's not the fault of starbucks, it seems there are always the stupidest people in here who clog up the line and take forever to order and pay. The coffee tastes like crud lately and they often don't have coffee ready to serve...which is ridiculous for a coffee shop. They clean their ovens with lots of chemicals so I'm afraid to get anything baked, yet there are often liquid spills all over the counters and floors. The staff is way worse than others I've gone to. You're much better going down the road in either direction as there are much better starbucks along broadway.

I love this Starbucks location. The staff is super nice - not to mention quick and efficient. I've never had a problem with my order not being right and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to complete my order from beginning to end. I highly recommend this Starbucks - one of the best in Tucson!
