Not pleased with most of the stand alone stores. Most of the employees are not paying attention getting your order wrong and then getting upset when you try to correct them with your order. I'm going to stick to the local Safeway or Bashes Locations as they work for that store not Starbucks. Starbucks has Failed in improving their customer service Once they started offering free college.

Not impressed, but I'll stick with 2 stars instead of 1 since I'm not a regular. Staff was snooty (obviously friendly with each other, but I felt like I was intruding on the "cool" table at high school). My blackberry tea lemonade (not even an espresso drink) took forever to make, despite being the only one in line with 6 staff members. (Again, I'll give benefit of doubt...the drive thru was hopping.) Lots of outdoor seating, but who wants to be outside in southern Arizona? I missed the driveway 3 times trying to get to the dang place, too. All in all not a great place from what I experienced.

Awesome!!! So fast. So efficient. And so friendly!!! The parking and drive through situation aren't ideal, but they more than make up for it. I would rather have a seamless operation and a crumby drive through than a great drive through setup and choppy slow service. I had a doppio and an iced coffee. I was set for the day!

The baristas here are super nice! Every time I've been here, it's usually not too busy with walk-ins. It seems like people use the drive-thru a lot more at this location. I really like to come here as a study spot! :)

Oh my I truly cannot go to this location ever again! I order a simple Iced coffee sweetened with cream and it sucks here every single time! How can you mess up an ice coffee! The coffee always tastes burnt. I have wasted a lot of money at this location not once has my iced coffee been good. So sad:(

Wow, I can't believe I'm actually going to write a review of Starbucks. Oh well, please don't think any less of me as I'm more so reviewing this location than the company or its products. Being that all I ever get is coffee, I can't complain about their beverage. Since all they need to do is pour the coffee into a cup, I can't complain about the service either--in fact, they seem like clones of almost every Starbucks I've ever been to. So not much to write about there. What I do want to say is that this one appears to open a little earlier than others in Tucson, at least earlier than the one on University Ave. That's a plus for me when it is my early-commute-to-work-week. One bit of advice, which seems even more appropriate after reading the other couple reviews of this location--DON'T USE THE DRIVE THROUGH! Seriously. I have never used the drive through, electing instead to go in and deal face-to-face with people. But it appears everyone else doesn't want to get out of their vehicle. This often makes it extremely difficult to even get into their driveway. It's not ncommon to see the queue spilling onto Broadway. Plus, even on days when there are only one or two cars in the queue (often there are 4 or 5), I still get my coffee and get out before they move at all. Seriously, get out of the line, out of your car, take a second to go into the store, be greeted by a smile (usually), get your drink, and leave--likely you'll even save time (and gas) this way as well!

I though I had already written a review of this location. the drive through is quite slow and the line can extend into broadway, if that happens go to the next street, make 2 rights and you are in the parking lot. if you go inside it is just as fast, if not faster then the drive through. they also messed up my order once, wanted an iced americano, got a hot... not too pleasant on a hot day but I had a test to get to so I couldn't even get a new one. To be fair it was busy, and I dont think the barista was fully listening. although I like within walking distance and have been here many times so im still commin' back

coffee is awesome of course, but what I don't get is why they close so early!?!?! I don't know if it's an Arizona thing, but usually in NY you can be in the burbs and the coffee joints are 24hrs.

I know. I know. Everyone thinks it's cool to hate Starbucks because they're a big fat corporate target, but I'd rank this store way above any indy shop any day. I've tried most of them in town, and they've got nothing on Starbucks's quality or service.

A poorer quality Starbucks. When I go to any Starbucks I order a venti iced coffee with cream sweetened - a very hard drink to mess up. Well unfortunately this one did. I didn't get a sweetened drink and it took a good 3 - 4 minutes at the window to get my drink. Unless I'm in absolute dire need, I will not be returning to this location.

I'm not a coffee drinker. Imagine my confusion when I was told to buy a traveler jug of coffee and snacks for 4 people at 7 AM! The night before, I stopped by this location and mentioned that I needed a jug at 7 AM the next morning, but know absolutely nothing about coffee. The barista breathed a sigh of relief and thanked me for ordering the night before and elaborates on the traveler contents. The next morning, I arrived at 6:50 to pick up my goods and was out the door by 7. One barista took care of my entire order. She heated and individually packed and labelled each pastry. The coffee was brewed beforehand, but they did not fill the jug until I arrived, which is fine because my jug is fresh! They did a great job getting me out the door on time with a well organized jug. You have my business next time I visit Tucson.

The baristas here are always cheerful and you can tell they're happy to be there. This is one of my most favorite places to sit on my laptop and get work done. It's a good environment. (:

First off, I LOVE Starbucks. I have a gold card and have been frequenting stores several times a week for a few years now. However, this location definitely is lacking in a few areas. I think the biggest area has already been mentioned by many reviewers below me, which is the parking situation. When I decide to go to this Starbucks I always have to have an internal debate with myself about whether it's more worth it to wait in the (always ridiculously long) drive thru line or to park and go in (usually quicker) and then attempt to get back out of the parking lot onto Campbell going south. The way the parking lot is set up is not ideal... There really needs to be a way to get back onto Campbell on the east side of the Starbucks so that those of us who are attempting to go south or east from here after getting coffee can do so. There's a private lane running behind the Starbucks if you go around the next building over but I'm not really sure that the general population is supposed to be using that road. Therefore, if you park and go inside of this location your only choice is to get on Broadway going west, which is probably not the way most people are trying to go. Remodeling of some kind needs to be done - I'd be willing to bet accidents have been caused by people trying to dart out of this parking lot back onto Broadway going east. However, the service itself has always been alright. The drive thru doesn't typically take quite as long as you'd think it would take just by looking at it, and my order has almost always been correctly made by the baristas. They're a bit abrupt at times, but I think that comes from having so many customers at one time literally all the time.

This location is decent. The staff is friendly and the drinks are always perfect. Maybe it being in a grocery store makes it not as great. There isn't the seating that you normally have at regular Starbucks. However, it is very convenient to have it while you are doing your regular food shopping. I wish they had a drive thru to add that extra convenience.

Love this little starbucks. Great drive through. Super friendly staff.

The baristas are always friendly and it's the speediest drive-thru of all the Starbucks drive-thru's I've been to.

I'm giving this three stars because of the location. The parking absolutely sucks! I drive a truck and a lot of times I have to keep driving and go to the safeway starbucks or just pass on coffee because there are no spots left! For such a busy area you would think that they would have planned for this. As for the staff, friendly starbucks staff. All of these folks are jacked on caffeine and make you want to be too. I say that with the best intentions, I really do like starbucks. On off-times you can make it through the drive-through but its a squeeze. Most of the time the line backs up onto broadway...just poor planning but welcome to Tucson!

They cater to what you want. I typically order a skinny vanilla latte But with only one pump of vanilla syrup... so it won't be too sweet. I really like the ham and cheese croissant square when I need breakfast on the go and their green tea is like No other! The only aspect I don't like are the long lines. It doesn't matter what time of day it is there is going to be a line. They're really not that bad though... I'm just spoiled from living in Tucson my whole life.

I try my best to love this Starbucks, but the drive-thru and the parking lot kind of kill it for me. I do have to give the staff props because they are so friendly and consistent with their service. This is my daily Starbucks because it's on my way to work and I don't have to go out of my way, which is awesome. I have thought about changing to a different location, but since I moved to Tucson this has been my go-to place, and I can't seem to make a change. If the drive through/parking lot is empty, give this place a chance. The staff definitely make up for the crappy location.

I swung into this Starbucks on the way to do mani's and pedi's with the little sister. Its a Starbucks. I wasn't expecting the world. There was no wait. The place was clean. And the reason I am reviewing this at all is because of the barista in particular working. She got me my tea and while waiting for the espresso for my second drink she took the time to strike up a legitimate conversation with me. It was such a refreshing change. I didn't feel like I was being hustled in and out. It is amazing how one little thing can make a whole experience wonderful. I wish I had gotten her name. But her service was enough to make me want to write this review. I can imagine during very busy times things can get crazy, but if you go on an off time, I can only hope others have the same experience.

Always clean and friendly. The staff is always more than willing to go out of there way to do anything. The only reason I am giving it a 4 star out of 5 is because the entrance -- it is the most strange entrance and the parking is limited. Overall, one of the better Starbucks in town.
