Amazing lunch food . stopped in to this new Olive Garden when we were working in Tucson. And o what can I say "mama Mia" Seated within 2 min and a guy named Luigi came as our waiter haha! Classic! He knew the menu in and out and was suggestive to great specials . The good was hot and fresh and the resteraunt clean. Our server Luigi was 10 stars outta 5 . I don't think there could have been a better waiter. I could not drink or eat half a bowl of soup without him refilling it or stopping by and asking how our dishes were . He was also friendly and laughing the whole time. Way to go Olive Garden keep hiring people like Luigi and you won't go wrong

Gotta love unlimited soup, salad and breadsticks for $6.99. My favorite is the calamari appetizer, the Steak Garganzola Alfredo and the Zuppa Toscana soup. Also love how they update the menu pretty frequently with different items to try which keeps me coming back.

We had our holiday celebration lunch from work here today, and we were a very big group - 14. Our main server was Chris and he and the rest of his team did a great job of keeping the soup and salad coming, and getting the rest of the hot food out at the same time. They managed to do this while we played a fun dice game and had a white elephant gift exchange. The food was very good, and they did a great job of accommodating our group. I recommend this location for anyone looking to have a big lunch party. Also, i noticed the recent tv commercial featuring the new hamburger a few weeks ago. I ordered it today and it was a very tasty burger. The side of fries was pretty sparse and left the plate looking like it needed something else, but I'd order it again.

This location tends to be a little bit busy I think it's because it's located right near the interstate so they get a lot of traffic not only that there's a really great shopping center where it's located at also. Their soup salad tour of Italy it's always delicious they have some really great appetizers also I particularly love the lasagna frittata. Not only can you dine alone but you can bring the whole family kids included; doesn't everyone love a good bowl of spaghetti and meatballs. They also always have different types of wine that you can sample which usually leads to me purchasing A glass of the wine that they were sampling for the day. For it to be a chain restaurant it's actually pretty decent.

Just had to leave an updated review to say today's service by Jen C. Was amazing. The best service I've ever had here. She was so helpful. We were never waiting for drink refills. We joked that she could read our minds because of how well she anticipated our needs. If you want great service ask for Jen C.

Not used to eating out during busy times on weekends i was SHOCKED to find an hour wait! Guess it's normal, for people who eat at normal times? I spotted seats at the bar, and they offer a full menu, so in we slid. They were very solicitous, when the Sprite and no syrup they seemed to be downright offended for us! LOL I did think it odd they let a 7 year old sit at the bar with her parents???In Vegas they aren't even allowed in the bar area! We had the Marshmellow Martini, VERY sweet, reminded me of my Mom, so it was bittersweet, but delicious. The food was excellent, the Ravioli DePortabello, in particualr. They refilled our bread several times, kept our water filled, and visited with us. When they learned it was my daughters birthday they made her some special Strawberry Shake with booze in it, yum! They even sang. So much salad I took most of my food home, as did my daughter. The smallest person in the group ate ALL her Rosemary Chicken and Mashed Potatoes, which weighed almost as much as her! Loved it, and them. Would love to go back.

I went to the Olive Garden for lunch yesterday with my daughter in law and her lovely mother. This restaurant is consistently good but this experience was exceptional. Not because of the food which was okay, but because of the excellent service we received. I don't have the waiters//bartenders name and if I did I would definitely praise him on here. He seemed to know what we needed before we did. So if you go there, sit in the bar area and you might be lucky enough to get him as your server.

WARNING: IF YOU PLAN TO DINE HERE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOMEONE WATCH YOUR VEHICLE WHILE YOU EAT. On 1/12/2014 evening, we parked our car in the front parking lot of this restaurant and dined for about an hour. Upon reaching our car to go home, we found our rear passenger window broken into and several items were stolen from the vehicle. One of us ran inside to notify the manager. She came outside to inform us that this was the THIRD incident of a vehicle break-in of THIS WEEK! She said she would go back inside to notify Tucson Police Department and noted that there were no security cameras on the building. Not even sure if she called because she went back inside and never bothered to come back out to reassure us or anything. As a restaurant manager, I might assume she'd try to save face by offering her sympathies, but all she said was that this was the third time it has happened and I can call TPD for you. End of story. Not at all impressed with the lack of safe parking lot or lack of caring service.

I know its Olive Garden, its not some fancy Italian restaurant, but I still love this place. the food is always good and consistent, never had a bad lunch here. we stop in for work every now and then for the classic "Soup, Salad and Bread sticks", and I can't get enough of the potato and sausage soup, excellent. Sure there are fancier places that are more authentic, but it doesn't mean the food here isn't good. This is my "fast food" Italian choice any day of the week.

For a Chain restaurant, this Olive Garden sure feels Local to me. My family and I had the best Customer Service experience here last week. Kat (Manager) and Maria (server) really made us happy. From fast service to excellent food, everything was FANSTASTIC!

I've had better service. Not sure what happened to our server but he wasn't there much at all. We were sat next to a group of people that were so loud and giggly and the parents who were sitting there were just as bad if not worse than their children. The food was okay nothing stand out ish. I haven't been impressed with Olive Garden for years.

This was my first time ordering To Go at Olive Garden, and first time ever at this location. Despite the mixed reviews for this location, I had a wonderful experience. The food was all fresh, the portions generous, and hadn't been sitting around under a heat lamp. Though the place was slammed, the service was nonetheless excellent. There was a bit of a wait while they finished up my order, and the server apologize profusely and gave me two coupons for my next visit. Great first impression, guys!

I needed to order a meal that was quick and healthy for my son. He was participating in a wrestling tournament nearby and I wanted to get him something that wasn't fast food. I called in my order at 3:30. The person who took my order said it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I really liked that they have parking spots for "to go" orders because the place was packed. I got a spot up front and proceeded inside to pay. I was a little early so I knew it would be a few minutes before my order was ready. I passed the time on my iPhone and watching the servers who were to be waiting on customers gab by the To Go counter. There must have been at least 8 of them just chatting away. I wondered how the service was since it appeared that most of the staff was just hanging out. By this time, I started wondering where my food was so I went up to check. I was brushed off by one of the workers with a quick "it's almost ready" response. I looked at the guy next to me and made a comment about how it appears they are a bit behind. At this point 30 min have passed. Then they tried giving me his order which was 2 huge bags of food. I ordered a chicken dish and a salad. I knew that wasn't my order. Apparently, I wasn't the only one getting a little irritated at how slow they were. He had been waiting over an hour for his food. Finally, after 40 min, I was on my way out with my food. (And no silverware). I called to let the manager know that they needed more help and that their estimated time was way off but sat on hold for 10 minutes and was transferred to 3 other people by the time I actually reached a manager. Next time, I'll hit up Subway.

What can I say!! I love Italian and this place is excellent, I had a great experience on my visit. the staff was great, they were very informative as to how long the wait was going to be, I did mind. The waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, her suggestion for the soup perfect. she came back several times to make sure we (my date and me) were doing ok, the food was excellent. a definite plus on my list of great places to eat.

My husband and I went for a late dinner & coffee (he loves their coffee) on a Friday night. We sat at the bar, as one gets the best service there. Not this time! He ordered the endless pasta bowl & I soup and salad. Terra (the bartender) brought me the wrong soup, never came to ask us how everything was, was MIA when we ordered our second helping, did not refill water, and was complaining about how tired she was. The other bartender either heard me mention to my husband that she was taking a long time and offered to bring me my second bowl of soup. Terra came out about 3 minutes after my soup was brought and did not seem pleased that someone else had done her job. My husband jokingly said to her "well now you won't have to bring her another bowl", she did not leave it and took it back to the kitchen. She still did not ask how everything was and did not refill my husband's water. Later she did ask my husband if he wanted another bowl of pasta, but did not ask me. She brought our check without asking if we wanted dessert, which we did!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
