A group of us ordered pizza from this place at work. The pizza was delicious and the crust was even better. They have different options for crust that you can choose. Ours was garlic and herb and the other was Parmesan. I preferred the Parmesan crust better. This place has large pizzas for $5 and is a million times better than Little Caesars $5 pizza. I give this Howie's a 3.5.

Only giving a star because it's making me... I ordered online at 4:42 I called at 5:56 to see if it was out for delivery then was told that my order hasn't even been processed and was being made and delivered asap. Now if this was my first bad experience with this store then I would have blown it off but every time I order, something gets forgotten or the food is burnt or not done properly. I keep giving this place a chance but after tonight I'm done. I talked to the manager of the store and told him I want a refund and I'm never ordering again. He blamed it on the online system and that it was it's fault so instead of trying to keep my business he basically said it's not my fault so you are out of luck. This is a horrible way to conduct a business. Once again let down by hungry Howie's!

We used to get pizza from her every couple of months. It was decent and we liked the flavored crust options. However, after our last visit we will not return. I ordered a pizza for pick up, picked it up and went in to work. (This is a job where my kids come with me) After my kids took their first bite they were complaining of the pizza being too spicy. The crust was red, which was really weird because I ordered the garlic crust. So I called to tell them that we didn't get what we ordered. The guy seemed to remember my pizza and said it was their sriracha crust. They offered to make me another pizza but I was at work and couldn't leave to go get it. The guy told me not to order that pizza if it was too hot for my kids and I explained to him I didn't order it and they messed up. After talking to the manager they said there was nothing they could do. Really? You guys didn't give me what I ordered. We won't return here for pizza again.

I tried to order 12+ pizzas and salad for an event I was having at my place of business; however, the gentlemen I spoke with on the phone said they would not deliver past Houghton and Irvington unless we ordered 15 to 20 pizzas. He stated the delivery drivers get mad when they have to drive that far. I was shocked behind that statement being that they are the business owners; don't they pay their drivers to deliver food? And what delivery driver would be upset to receive a tip (which would have been worth the drive had they come) from an order off of 12+ pizzas!? I'm shocked they didn't want our business and I'm sure if they knew who they refused business to, they would regret their decision!! They lost my business and any business to promote theirs!!

We ordered Hungry Howie's for delivery on a Friday night. The pizza got to us quickly and it was hot & fresh. We paid about $57 before tip for 3 large pizzas and a large salad. I ordered a Greek Salad. It was huge, fresh, piled with Feta cheese and came with a pack of croutons, Hungry Howie's signature Greek dressing & 2 plastic forks. Everyone agreed that it was better than Little Ceasar's, but not the best in Tucson. For that the consensus said you'd have to go to Sauce. But for a delivery option, Hungry Howie's does alright.

Hungry Howie's is very inconsistent. Certain nights they produce chain pizza with near-perfection (Because -- let's face it -- chain pizza and real pizza are two different categories altogether), while on other nights they seem to prefer giving you the pizza to finish baking yourself. Sometimes their bread is drenched in greasy substances; there are instances where it's totally dry, while -- every once in a while -- it's (just like the pizza) a complete pile of garlic-flavored dough. You really have to give them specific, detailed instructions in order to get the pizza exactly the way you want and that includes telling them "Make sure you cook this into an actual pizza. kThxBai.". But the ingredients they use are pretty good, mind you, and their different flavored crusts give it a unique edge over most competitors. Just be prepared to put your pizza in the oven when you get home with it, as HH's rarely cooks its pizza long enough. Once it's finally cooked thoroughly, however, it's tolerable pizza. I wouldn't go out of my way to give them my business, but if I am in the area and want some pizza, I'll order from here.

This is the best pizza in the world everytime I go to hungry howie's its best. They make the greatest pizza ever I can't tell you how many times I love their pizza. I'm not one of those people that live right across the street for them and have them order it I walked over there and get it. You guys did a really good job keep kicking ass

First time eating their pizza. I was impressed as I have had most of the carry out pizzas in the area. For value, taste, courtesy from employees, speed of service and preperation time I give it a big thumbs up. Yes, they have very limited room in the waiting area but Tucson has nice weather, on the average, so standing outside waiting our turn was just fine. We will return.

I'd thought about going somewhere else, but when the line was an hour (damn that must be good) and a starving stomach I made my way to howie's and boy I wasn't disappointed. I got the BBQ chicken and devoured the whole thing. I'm not from the Tucson area but when I come back through I'll grab a slice of pie here!

Thanks for the large pepperoni pizza that cost $25.00 with tip. Too bad you had to take at least 3 bites of any one of the pieces to get a bite of pepperoni. I counted 13 slices of pepperoni. On a "pepperoni" pizza, you should get a bite of pepperoni with every bite otherwise it is just a cheese pizza. One slice didn't even have one slice of pepperoni on it. Good pizza but not worth the price considering they skimp on the toppings. This was at the Twin Peaks location.

Good inexpensive pizza. I didn't care too much for the wings but my guys ate them. (They eat everything) I think their pizzas are a good value for the money. Make ure to ask about their take out specials.

I don't always get chain pizza... But when I do it's Hungry Howies. Hungry howies offers reasonably priced pizza and flavored crusts. Used to eat this as a kid and all my friends that I have introduced it too have become instant fan's definitely worth a try next time you're in the mood for pizza.

This place has awesome carry-out deals - $5.50 for a large one topping when I went in there. They always have tons of other promotions going on and good coupons they send out. The flavored crusts are delicious. Also worth noting, this pizza made the BEST cold pizza leftovers I've ever had. The crust, cheese, sauce, toppings, EVERYTHING held up extremely well in the fridge overnight. So that's $5.50 for 2-3 people, or for one person to have 2-3 meals with. It's a great deal, good pizza, and it's beats the heck out of Little Caesar's.

A salad made by a person who doesn't eat salad is easy to spot. With vegetables cut in unwieldy slabs and hunks, its lettuce is either too large to manage comfortably or too small to feel meal-like. This is not to say the salad is bad. It is just different. Enough with the salad, Howie's stands on no pretense! It's mission is to provide good, cheap, late-nite pizza. And that is what we got -- a $5 medium with one topping. Throw in the man-made salad, $9.81.

The pizza is great, but the manager is not very professional in handling multiple mistakes they have made on our orders. We have ordered from them for a long time because the pizza is so good and we could overlook the poor customer service, but there are only so many times mistakes can be made without attempting to make it up to the customer.
