This place blows Nico's and Los Betos out of the water. For some reason, the food always is fresh, not matter what time I happen to pass by here. The carne asada burrito is really good and the guacamole is the thick kind, not the watery one, which I despise. It is cheap and open 24/7. What's not to like?

I did not have a good experience with this Filiberto's. I was the only person when I walked inside and waiting quite a bit just for someone to come take my order. I ordered my food and paid for it, and that's when the weirdness begins. They did not have any change for me and told me I had to wait in order to get it. I was in a hurry so obviously this was a little frustration. At the same time, I was not ready to leave paying ten dollars extra for my meal. I waited by the counter and in in a couple of minutes my order was ready. It was handed to me and I continued to wait. From this point to the end, I was asked by three different employees what I was doing waiting by the counter. I told them what the first one told me, and none of them responded with anything. A couple of drive-thru orders and one customer paying at the counter later, I finally got my change. There was no apology for waiting or a simple "have a good day." I felt like an unwelcomed guest. The burrito was just okay. Too much tortilla and not enough substance. Slightly better than Viva, but nowhere near as good as Los Betos and Nicos. I doubt I'll come here again.

I went there on way to work this morning and was greeted nicely by Ramon. I got my bacon burrito quickly and he gave me an extra sauce and didn't even act like I was asking for gold like they do at outher taco joints-namely Los Betos! Blllahhhh... I am so glad Filiberto moved to the neighborhood. My bacon burrito was awesome, just the right amount of fillings and tasted great even after I warmed it up in microwave 3 hours after I bought it. Arrrriiibbbaaa, muuuy bueno.....I love me some Filibertos!!! Thanks for the quick and great service today!

I really like Filiberto's. Have you tried their carne asada fries? I'm an addict, and I can't take them anywhere without people telling me how good they look/smell. The carne asada and ground beef burritos also really good, and inexpensive too. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Carne Asada Quesadilla... it was delicious. The chimis are about as good as they come and as cheap as they come without heading down to El Molinito or Casa Molina too, but beware as I've noticed they use beans as filler.

I walked in to this location and waited to be greeted. Which never happened guy went to register never said anything like what would you like to order. I should have left but instead I ordered a burrito which was okay. Just like how I was greeted. I will never eat at this place again .

Good cheese enchiladas, but if you're looking for a good burrito go to Nico's instead.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
