Enjoyed this establishment. Nice varied menu and nice prices. We did the duck theme. Duck tacos and duck egg rolls. They were very nice. Definitely will try this place again. Should I add another star to this rating. Maybe. The place was clean and the service was good. I had no complaints. Another star may come in my next visit!

If you like spicy drinks Get the Mexican Candy shot or cocktail! Spicy, sweet with a great after taste! If you like smoother get the coffee White Russian! Then order any of the appetizers... This place has never failed to impress me with their unique drinks and simple yet delicious foods. They are exceptionally priced and always willing to make a recommendation without any of the "you should already know attitude". Take the street car and enjoy some infused vodkas in one of the best downtown joints!

I want to give this place 5 stars for their vodka infusions but unfortunately this place is a bit lacking in other areas. I would highly recommend stopping in for a drink though. They have a whole list of vodka infusions both sweet and savory flavors. I usually get the peppercorn vodka in a Bloody Mary. I think they have the best bloody Mary's in Tucson! I'm never disappointed with them! They also have great drink prices and even better happy hour prices! $3 vodka drinks for happy hour and I believe all day Saturday as well! As for food, I haven't tried too much of their food but I absolutely love the jicama slaw! I make a point of ordering it every time I'm there. The decor is pretty interesting and they usually have the music turned pretty loud so if you are looking for a place to sit, relax and chat this may not be the best place. I've had a few good servers there but I've also had some really terrible servers. It's a bit hit or miss.

a dark bar in the downtown area that seemed pretty laid back for a Thursday night. the highlight here is their large selection of HOUSE-infused vodka flavors!! I was between the prickly pear and key lime but went with the key lime ---key lime vodka with sprite: tasted like a gimlet but less sweet! i wish i took it as a shot instead of a well drink Aren't feeling too creative? they have a list of specialty concoctions you can choose from didn't get to try the food but the fries smelled amazing!

Frizzy izzy! You da bomb! As is the matinee martini! Mondays and Tuesdays = virtually all day happy hour. CHEAP drinks and food. Honestly...I didn't drink myself into a stupor, because I'm classier than that. But I DID (with Steve L.), try a fair smattering of their bevvies and food. All of their vodkas are delicious, try the Bloody Mary. We had the Greek Burger (pretty good, lame bun, but the meat was good). The Duck sliders were a bit meh...the duck itself was dry and the sauces were just too sweet for me. TRY THE JALAPENO BOATS. They are delish. Just get the smaller HAppy Hour version though (3 instead of 6/7) and save your arteries a bit. The bacon etc. with the tad of agave on top (not too sweet, cuts the heat). Again, I don't know how the rest of the staff are, but Izzy was amazing and it definitely wouldn't have been 5 stars without her!

Honestly, so impressed. This hole in the wall has great food that's underrated. The bacon ragoons are phenomenal and the fries are delicious. On Sunday's they have $2 mimosas and for a $1 more you can add some of their specialty infused flavor vodkas. This is the second time we've been and haven't been let down. The service has always been great and friendly.

If the throbbing speakers pounding out catchy 80s DJ mixes don't dissuade the usual middle-aged person wintering in Tucson from entering Elliot's, the big black, oil-rancid hole of clogged arteries - in the form of Bacon Thursdays - will. Say a big HOWDY HEY to Elliot's on Congress, not to be mistaken for the 50-year-old Elliot, who might on a Stretcher, after partaking of a happy hour here. It might not be the first time a bar offers up bacon slices as appetizers when you sit down, but it's the first time we've experienced this, because we're out-of-town boring hillbillies who usually go gaga as soon as we hear a bag of Costco Snap Peas or Blue Corn Tortilla Chips being ripped open two houses away. Bacon as appetizers means that you a) should not be a vegetarian, and b) should not be on Lipitor. Elliot's was having some bacon soiree, and several things on the menu had bacon. There was also a good HH menu with equally-cholesterol engorging items, such as $3 duck egg rolls, $6 duck sliders, Parmesan fries, and so on. We ordered the egg rolls, sliders with orange sauce, and fish 'n chips, which came with a side of Parmesan fries. And, as everyone raves about the $3 HH vodka infusions I had the cucumber infused vodka cocktail. With the exception of the Parmesan fries, which were great, everything else was just OK. The egg rolls had been pre-made and barely warm. The sliders were the same, but had a nice flavor with the orange sauce and the onion rings were a nice touch, but they were also pre-made and not freshly fried. The duck pieces were so tiny they resembled little pieces that fell out of my mouth when I talked. The fish and chips came out warm, but the batter was a little on the tough side. The coleslaw side was great, however. Even the libations were unable to perk us up, as the alcohol tasted very watered down, though the cocktails didn't taste bad For $3 I didn't expect much, but had hoped to get a buzz, instead of a buzz-kill. What saved the night was our excellent and patient server, as well as KLPX, Tucson's Classic Rock Station, which broke the mould for all other classic rock stations by DJ-ing hit after classic rock hit, such as Michael Jackson, Rick Springfield, Bobby Brown, Soft Cell, and Anita Ward ("Ring My Bell"). After mouthing every word in Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl", we realized I had too much bacon - so we made our hasty exit. A fun place if there's a DJ in house. And lots of bacon.

If you like a Bloody Mary you must try yours infused with jalapeno, garlic and/or peppercorn vodka. They are easily the cheapest and some of the best bloody mary's in town. They go great paired with a side of parmesan fries.

Excellent hamburger with citrus bbq sauce, good hicama cole slaw, crisp chicken with savory mustard honey sauce. I will be back.

Elliot's has an intriguing menu that is a bit different from the rest - from a burger with an egg on it (highly recommended) to pulled duck sandwiches which we my absolute favorite this restaurant has it all (even chocolate covered bacon for desert)! The atmosphere is pretty fun with plenty of tvs for sports and it is especially fun if you happen to be in on music video night! I recommend this place to all who want to try something different but not too far out of the ordinary either.

The boyfriend and I frequent here every time we come downtown. We love this place! The staff is always friendly and inviting the food is awesome as well and they have tons of housemade vodkas to choose from. Lots of duck on the menu which is awesome.

This place has become my go-to place for hanging out on Congress during the weekend, and some place I always make sure to suggest to my friends. Cheap ($3 for their infusions during happy hour and on Saturdays), delicious and with an awesome, friendly, casual atmosphere, hands down, this is the best bang for your buck drinks on Congress. They specialize in vodka infusions, from your traditional fruit flavors to some quirky items like bell pepper and mint-citrus. They also have a few seasonal options they rotate through that I've never been disappointed in. My favorites are the prickly pear and pumpkin (their white pumpkin russian is the best pumpkin concoction I've ever tasted!). If you're looking for a fun, quirky drink, try my personal favorite, the Yellow Submarine. Pineapple and bell pepper vodka it sounds crazy but is actually really good and something you'll not get anywhere else. Of course everything else is great as well, and their bartenders are fabulous when coming up with drink selections for you. I've only had their food here once and it was pretty average (I had the pasta). But their bar menu has all been great. I'd definitely suggest you try the fried PB&J! It was soooo good and their bartenders can make a great milk-based drink to match! All in all, it's a great place to have some cheap, delicious drinks, some great conversation and start your night off right.

$3 vodka infusion drinks and $2 beers? And happy hour until 7pm? What could possibly be wrong with this, I ask you? Not a damn thing, right? I love that Elliott's happy hour is pretty much an hour longer than other downtown restaurants. No food last night as my son and I just wanted a quick drink before we headed across the street for our intended dinner location. We bellied up to the bar and I told the bartender that I wanted a happy hour vodka drink but that I don't like sweet. He asked a question or two about my taste and came up with a less sweet version of the Cucumber Press - a delicious cucumber jalapeno drink that was just perfect. M ordered up the Proud Mary with that spicy horseradish vodka. The Proud Mary was heavily garnished with plenty of olives and other edibles. Great, friendly and relaxing environment goin' on at Elliott's. And how can you not love a $3 drink?

Visited Elliott's for the first time this weekend and I fell hard in love. The interior is dark and spacious, with an uncluttered design -- the go-to trend for the more hip downtown crowd. Their regulars were crammed in at the bar, elbow to elbow, but unphased by this cozy seating. Very relaxed, lazy Sunday afternoon vibe. Drinks are cheap and made with a generous pour, just how I like them. Their bottled beer selection is pretty ok, and their draft beer, although having only a few different selections, was passable. I started with an Angry Orchard ginger apple cider in a bottle and ordered duck sliders with orange chili sauce to start. The sliders were tender, sweet, and loaded with mini onion crisps. Super tasty. I liked them even better with a few dashes of tabasco to balance out the sweetness. Food and drinks were delivered swiftly. My entree, the jalapeno-bacon cheeseburger, was cooked perfectly, as I had ordered. DELICIOUS burger, charred to perfection, with a gorgeously pink center. So juicy, one of the best burgers I've yet had. The bun was toasted just right and didn't get soggy. The jalapeno-infused bacon was the starring ingredient -- just a hint of spiciness to not overwhelm or make the bacon not taste like bacon. It was soo good, I couldn't dream of putting any condiments on this burger. I'm kind of a purist with my beef, anyway. My partner had the Wanda, a sammy with a generous slab of tender, pink salmon with garlic-dill aioli. This was spectacular! So happy to see meat not being cooked to bone dryness. The famed garlic-parmesan fries were SO. ADDICTING. Horray happy hour! Infused cocktails are $3! Wells are $2.50! Dollar off wine! Beer $3! The cocktails!!! I tried the yellow submarine, pumpkin pie white russian, and the jalapeno vodka-rita. These were all just glorious and I will be coming back for more. I also tried a sip of the proud mary, their house bloody mary made with horseradish vodka, but I didn't think it was spicy or peppery enough. Hint: get the jalapeno vodka-rita. My favorite. It's not too spicy at all, so don't be a weenie. I will be back Elliott's!! I'm ready for more, but will you be ready for me????!!

This is a great place to eat downtown. I had the blue cheese salad and loved it. The in house infused vodka are amazing. Like the cucumber and jalapeño. I recommend going there happy hour the specialty drinks are only $3. By the way the chocolate covered bacon is definitely something you have to try.

I had been craving duck and Elliot's was on my list of places to try. My husband and I started with the Bacon Rangoons, cream cheese and bacon, how can you go wrong? For dinner I got the Duck Club and my husband got their 'Love Me 2 Times' Burger. Quality food. It was delicious and well seasoned. The burger was cooked perfectly and the sauce on the Duck Club was a perfect compliment to the dish. I wasn't a huge fan of their garlic Parmesan fries, they're a bit too skinny for me, but they were cooked well. To top it all off, we got Banana Tater Tots which had Nutella and a scoop of ice cream. Perfect ending. We will definitely be back to try some more things off the menu.

Brunch! Brunch! Brunch! If you can't tell, I get excited for brunch here. They have awesome $3 Bloody Marys and $2 Mimosas that you can get with their huge selection of infused vodkas. The atmosphere in the restaurant is really relaxed with modern decor. Their bar has a bunch of tvs and the booths are comfortable even for medium sized groups. The prices are fair and there is rarely a large crowd which makes it a great place to hang out with friends and grab a drink (or something with duck in it). Oh, and the mozzarella sticks are bomb!

Great food and atmosphere. My family and I came here for lunch on a sunday and it was great!! You have to try one of their house infused vodkas for sure!!

Oh, Elliot's. I love thee. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways: 1) house-infused vodkas that lead to endless combinations of tasty cocktails 2) huge delicious portions for incredibly fair prices 3) many healthy options (poached pear salad mmmm) 4) the atmosphere is just right for watching a game, going on a serious date, or stumbling in at 1 a.m. completely toasted And the main reason I love Elliot's? Every time I bring my boyfriend, he gets all romantic. I have cross-checked this phenomenon with some friends and the same thing happens to them. So I don't know if they pump it through the vents, lace the parmesan garlic fries, or infused all their vodka with love potion number 9, but there's something so wonderful about Elliot's that it makes men romantic. Thank you, Elliot's; I love you! Wait... is Elliot's making me romantic... for Elliots?

If I could rename this place, I'd call it "Elliott's Ducks" D - delectable U - unforgettable C - can I have one more? K - kiss that duck with my mouth! Holy Moly, what on the menu can you NOT order in duck?! Duck Sliders - Seriously, to die for. The combination of their soft, buttery bun with tender duck meat inside, probably the best and most unique slider I've ever had. Duck Street Tacos - Watch out as these go quickly - they're bite size but full of pulled duck goodness and flavor! Duck Club - Club sandwich with duck - and yup, it tasted better than the typical bacon or turkey club you usually get at other restaurants. And don't order these or any other dish without the Parmesan-Garlic Fries! Oh and prices? Extremely affordable and cheap considering the food quality IMHO, great bang for your buck! Eat it up! (and for the record, I can't believe I said "duck" 10 times here)

I initially imagined Eliott's was just for the booze lovers, but it turned out it also has culinary ambitions. Chocolate-covered bacon? Egg-man sandwich? Although I may never try those items, it is fun to see them there. The BBQ duck burger was yummy. The duck street tacos were on the waker side as they were a bit underseasoned. Overall, I applaud Eliott's for its reasonably priced duck-centric menu, generally good flavor, and the items I may never try on the menu.

VODKA. That's what's it's all about! Seriously though. Holy vodka infusions. An entire wall dedicated to their house-made infusions. It's quite impressive. With so many options it's hard to make a decision! But luckily, their lovely bartenders are there to save you from a vodka disaster. Minty vodka with bacon vodka and a splash of orange vodka sounds clutch, right? Maybe not, but if you wanted to mix all those flavors you could! And all for the same wallet friendly price of $3. For those who can't be bothered with making your own creation, they have another menu of signature cocktails made with their infusions. You can shoot 'em, you can sip 'em, drink them on the rocks or up. No matter which way you choose- these infusions are down right delicious.

Amazing service, and duck, duck and more duck. Duck Sliders, Duck Club Sandwich, Duck Omelet to name a few. many choices of infused Vodka. Sunday brunch with Bloody Marys and mimosas on special. Bacon Ragoons, with two types of bacon in them. Issy was a great server. Two appetizers, several bloodys, Duck Sliders, and Duck Club, for two people right around 40 bucks. Can't be beat on taste and price.

Vodka is the story here. But I ain't talking about that sad little bottle in your freezer you pull out and mix up the occasional Cosmo with. We are talking vodka infused with everything from herbs to bacon... yes I said bacon. How the heck do you even do that? I have yet to have a drink with bacon vodka from Elliott's but you can bet it's on my list. The drinks I have had I have thoroughly enjoyed: Jalapeno Vodka Rita - spicy, limey, salted rim giving it just enough Margaritaishnous... mmm, mmm, mmm. This has become my go to drink here. Bloody Mary - Your sort-of-standard-but this-is-Elliot's-and-standard-is-for-the-weak Bloody Mary but with hold on... horseradish infused vodka. I had something else like a Minterini with citrus mint vodka and sweet tea vodka. A little sweet, but an ass-kicker nonetheless. My wife had some sort of a lemonade with another infusion and a Pumpkin Russian (pumpkin infusion) on our couple of visits. All these infusions.... when will the madness stop? Oh yes, I must mention that their specialty drinks are $3 during happy hour. $3? Are you kidding me? On top of that, their food menu is almost as inventive. When you see duck on the menu, you definitely do a double take. Duck sliders and duck club were the two I spotted. I did not order them because our server suggested the Buffalo Soldier. Basically a wrap with chicken and buffalo sauce. Seems pretty standard but done well, especially when placed alongside a pile of thin, crispy parmesan garlic fries. These fries are the stuff heart attacks are made of. Tossed in garlic butter and dusted with parmesan... what a way to go. My wife's dish was one of their signature dishes: pasta with tomato vodka (what else?) sauce made with basil infused vodka and topped with bacon. Sadly, it was just a little disappointing for her. I tasted it and agree. All in all... originality is key here. There is no other place like Elliott's in town. We will be back... again and again.

I love this place! At first glance it may look a little dirty or run down.. but don't let the pretentious food snob in you talk you out of eating here.. because you just may miss out! Their food is cheap delicious and fast... perhaps the perfect place to eat before going to the Rialto or even before the night begins. I recommend their bbq duck sandwich and their amazing chocolate bacon served with vanilla icecream for dessert. Their fries are to die for too.. amazing garlicky shoestring fries.. I'm drooling just thinking about them.

Bomb food. Great service. Amazing vibes/ atmosphere. Elliot's is one of my favorite places to eat in Tucson. Their drinks are delicious but very strong... I usually get mine in a tall glass. WEDGE SALAD= huge and so so good! All of their food is good!

I would go back but not be in a hurry to do so. 3.5* Was good, better than your average bar food, just not great like a gastro pub, somewhere in between. Some interesting and fun menu choices and sides. I suspect most of what we had was frozen though, not fresh nor made from scratch. And they could use more craft and/or local beer selection on tap. Fish in the fish n chips was nice and crispy and buffalo chicken pasta salad side was fun. Set expectations and you will enjoy. Service was good, friendly place. Was there for late lunch so maybe atmosphere was flat but could see it being fun, decent decor and music at a good volume.

Delicious infused vodkas. A few odd-tasting cocktails but for the most part the drinks are great and tasty. The appetizers are also yummy, especially the fries. All-day Saturday happy hour is perfect for day drinking and going out afterwards!

I have zero complaints about Elliot's. The service is always attentive and friendly , the happy hour can't be beat ($2 wells!), the food is delicious (especially the duck sliders and bacon wrapped jalapeño boats), and the vibe is very relaxed unlike many other places in the area. Definitely come here!

Downtown Tucson is always a friendly reminder of why Tucson is a pretty neat place. A decade ago, it was a cesspool filled with run down, abandoned buildings with homeless people running rampant. Fast forward to 2013 and it's a completely different area that now possesses a plethora of stylish, yet affordable restaurants and bars. This is where Elliot's on Congress fits in. It has a bit of a hipster vibe, which is kind of up my alley. Not really a hipster myself per se, but I attend music festivals and listen to music that you've probably never heard of ;). We purchased a Groupon for two free drinks and one free appetizer so we could test this place out and we did not depart disappointed. We began with the garlic Parmesan fries (shoestring), which were impeccably cooked and seasoned. Restaurants will often over or under-season their food with garlic but the fries found a happy median. We devoured them in about five minutes. With very cheap happy hour prices, we determined that covering our table with appetizers was a better idea than leaving room to put our elbows on the table (I know, tsk tsk). I will give Elliot's credit; they obviously make a point to put their own spin on their food. We ordered chicken tenders, cheese sticks, sliders, an additional plate of fries and a stick of chocolate covered bacon. Not a single component of the food we ordered was disappointing or unsatisfying. If you like overly greasy food that leaves you with severe heart burn and massive gas that keeps you farting throughout the night, go somewhere else. If you like tasteful food that leaves you fulfilled, perhaps you should venture down to congress and give Elliot's a chance. The chicken tenders came with a honey mustard dipping sauce that constructed a perfect balance of sweetness and tangy. The tenders were not overly juicy or greasy, so the presence of the dipping sauce brought everything together exquisitely. The sliders were cooked and prepared to taste as if they came right off the grill. Tasty beef patties and the toasted bun were an excellent combination that many other restaurants cannot seem to put together the way Elliot's did. The cheese sticks were unlike any other cheese sticks I have ever ordered. Say goodbye to the notion of taking a mozzarella stick, dousing it in breading and frying it. These things looked like egg rolls on the outside, which raised my apprehension, but my hesitance completely vanished the moment I tasted them. A wonton wrap surrounding cheddar cheese and pepper jack and then fried.....delectable. We used the chocolate covered bacon as our de facto desert and it was worth the wait. 1) 99% of anything involving bacon is good and 2) Chocolate is a good ingredient to combine with the king of pork. I'd strongly suggest this item to anyone who decides to dine here. As for our drinks, my wife ordered some strawberry vodka concoction, which she said was too strong but that's okay because she's a giant wuss when it comes to alcohol. I tasted it and I thought it was delicious with the right touch of vodka. Now my drink -- the Key Lime Pie Vodka -- was STRONG, but also magnificent. It felt as I was chasing a liquid key lime pie with a shot of vodka, which I presume is the point. If you happen to be near downtown Tucson on any weeknight between 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm (or 10 pm and 1 am on Thursday, Friday or Saturday according to the menu), give this place a chance. Very affordable, very appetizing and the service is absolutely marvelous.

Places say they make the best Bloody Mary's but Elliot's actually wins the blue ribbon! The prices can't be beat either. If you have munchies, try the chocolate covered bacon. The bacon gives the sweet chocolate a smokey flavor, very interesting and very yummy!

This place's claim to fame is their large selection of home infused vodkas that really are delicious, especially their seasonal infused vodka mixes. I had the spiced apple cider cocktail, it really tasted like it sounded. They also have an entire section of the menu dedicated to duck dishes. I had the duck sliders, which were delicious but as an expensive entree it was not filling or worth the cost for the really small portions. Other wise, great place. The banana dessert was also really yummy and not greasy despite being fried.

My husband and I just ate at Elliotts the cod sandwich and the hambuger we ordered was delivered on huge white bun too big for the size of the fish or the buger, limited menu, if you like duck they offered several ways to order that. Not impressed, there are so many new restaurants on congress, and I'm sorry to say none of them are very impressive, Elliotts is right down there.

Cute little place downtown. I wasn't sure about trying it but I'm glad we did. The food was very good and their drinks were awesome. They had a fantastic assortment of vodka's and made an awesome Wired Russian (not my drink but after trying it I wished it were). I expected it to be much more upscale, but it was enviting and friendly instead which we really appreciated. I would come back for sure there are several things on the menu I have to try still including the duck burger ;)

Oops, I bookmarked this two months ago and am just getting around to the review! Sorry! Came here around 3pm on a weekday. Very helpful staff even though she had a lot of regulars at the bar. Love at the choices! Was weary to try the facy apps at a place that you could see the cook behind the counter, but it was well worth it. This place has a great location and will be sure to come back. I think this might be the place I escape all the college crazies late at night Faces: house made pickles, any of the berry flavored vodka, duck sliders

Very pleasantly surprised. Enjoyed a good happy hour here with some friends. I had the prickly pear vodka with soda. It's not super sweet (which I like)... The other mixed drinks were really good, and as my friend Megan said, the pasta with buffalo sauce was super good. The happy hour prices were really good. I am excited to go back and try more food... but mostly drink more vodka.

Had the salmon club sandwich and was blown away. One of the best fish sandwiches I have ever had. Last time I was here I had the salmon salad and was equally impressed. The happy hour here is great too. Domestic beers for $3. I'll be coming back!

It's not awful--if you like dry bun syndrome. I don't. The orange duck slider stuck--in a bad way--I had to water sip it down and still, the bun, with all it's giganticism, stuck. The chipotle slider was smoky, salty and overdone but the flavor--not texture--was okay. The wired Russian was strong and coffee tasty but I couldn't sense a hint of the blueberry it promised. The friend who accompanied me said: "This would be great if you were drunk and needed to eat something before you vomited. Greasy, a lot of bread and I've definitely had better pulled duck. I think the drinks are the highlight--lots of infused vodkas (the biggest selection in Tucson, or so they claim)." I'd have to agree. The drinks are amazing! Try the garlic shot with a slice of their homemade dill pickles (so good...). Strong at first sip, the garlic vodka and pickle chaser balance each other out and twist the tongue in a unique, savory, way that reminded me of sandwiches and beach front picnics. I didn't like the starter, so I didn't stay for more food, but for drinks...Well, maybe this is the bar you want to leave to grab a bite when you're feeling peckish and a little spinsy. -Fairy Food Father PS. After a hectic week, we came here for some serious happy hour. I'd already read that they stocked a boat load of house infused vodka and that happy hour went until 7 p.m. Plus, chocolate and bacon are two of my favorite foods in the whole wide world, so I was looking forward to sampling some chocolate covered bacon. First - the drinks. They have some very interesting infusions: bacon, pumpkin, habanero, basil. We went with a group of six, so I got to sample quite a few of Elliott's recipes. I had the Proud Mary, a Bloody Mary made with horseradish vodka. This was definitely our party's favorite - the mix was highly flavorful and the horseradish vodka gave the drink a nice kick. We ordered a second one, this time asking for them to use half horseradish vodka and half bacon vodka, but unfortunately, the horseradish overpowered any bacon flavor that the bacon vodka may have imparted. Still, it was a delicious Bloody Mary. My mom ordered the Creamsickle, and it tasted just like orange creamsickle - yum. We also tried the Pumpkin Russian, which was made with one of their seasonal vodkas (you guessed it - pumpkin) - also yum. Less popular drinks: My dad ordered the Strawberry Fields, which had a nice flavor, but was much too sweet for any of our tastes. The Mint Tea-Ni was the least favorite and had an almost medicinal quality. However, at $3 a drink, we were not disappointed with trying a couple of duds. The food was pretty good. I had the mussels, and these were delicious - cooked perfectly in a marinara-based broth, with a side of grilled sourdough bread. My brother ordered the duck sliders, which were also delicious. The duck street tacos were also a hit. The chocolate covered bacon was interesting - it was good, but quite sweet and rich, and definitely a dessert item. The only disappointment was the hot vodka pasta, which was light on the sauce and light on flavor as well. Service was great - our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and an overall sweetheart. Nice casual atmosphere as well. Overall great experience, and a place that we shall return to in the future.

Delicious! I have no idea how I'd never been here but I'm so glad we've discovered it! We were here for nearly 4 hours enjoying happy hour and just chatting. It was a Tuesday evening and there is live music (not that obnoxiously loud kind that makes you have to scream at one another). They have OUTSTANDING happy hour specials. We each tried 4 different kinds of their signature infused vodkas, including the garlic shot which was phenomenal!! Don't judge, you know you kinda wanna try it. We had the bacon ragoons as an appetizer. My friend had the duck sliders and I had the egg burger. We finished it off with chocolate color bacon. Every single thing we had was delicious. Total, we had 7 drinks between us, an app, 2 entrees, and dessert. All that only came to $58. They weren't super busy and our server never once gave us that 'oh my gosh please leave now' attitude that you usually get if you're at a restaurant for a while.... even if you keep spending money. She was also extremely helpful with pointing us to the best options!

The service was great and the drinks are good and strong. It's very laid-back and cool. I enjoyed the blues music being played live. I was actually expecting something a bit more intimate though. More bar, less sports/restaurant.

Elliott's By The Numbers: 0: The number of bars that can compete with Elliott's. Its casual gastropub fare and incredibly unique house-infused vodka are good enough to temporarily distract me from the crushing loneliness that creeps in whenever I'm in a quiet place. 3: The cost of vodka drinks on happy hour. And they are strong! Also, three is the number of drinks that will make you call Cassie for a ride home. 16+: There's over sixteen amazing flavors of vodka to choose from--classics like vanilla or coffee, unexpectedly great mixers like green bell pepper, spicy bloody mary enhancers like habanero and horseradish, and many more! Also, 16 seems to be around the number of voicemails I can leave on Cassie's phone before it says the voicemail box is full. She really needs a new phone. The only reason I am leaving so many messages is that in the past her dumb phone didn't properly get those voicemails to her. This is the same reason I always follow up every call/voicemail with an accompanying text message and e-mail. Limitless: The amount of fun you can have here. There's sometimes really cool acoustic performances in here, big booths, many TVs, and really cool staff! (Tavish is a dead-ringer for Mac from "It's Always Sunny...") 1: The number of times you can scream, "WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT, BRO?! HAVE YOU BEEN HANGING OUT WITH CASSIE?!" before you get "encouraged to leave." Haha, I think it's time for some more vodka! If you ever feel the same way, head to Elliott's!

Good food and an even better atmosphere. Go whenever they have a local band playing its a lot of fun. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. Our waitress didn't check in on us and it was a pain to flag her down to pick up the check.

My visit was brief but the VODKA made it memorable! My husband had a prickly pear and ginger infusion, and as for me, feeling creatively challenged to create one of my own that particular night, I ordered one of their signature infusion cocktails. I'm annoyed because I can't remember the name of the drink, but it was very good! And the price was definitely right, at $3 for a shot of whatever infusion you can mix up from their extensive offerings of infused vodkas including Habanero, Green Bell Pepper, Peppercorn, Coffee Bean, Key Lime and BACON to name a creative few! So, I will say that my experience was positive and I will definitely be back to visit and to check out the menu another time!

Came here for a Saturday night out- Service was attentive, efficient, and polite. Food was good, not super memorable though- has the BBQ duck sandwich, poached pear salad and fish and chips. The duck sandwich had a bit too much BBQ sauce for my wife but otherwise everything was prepared and seasoned well. The bar pours generously but the strawberry fields specialty cocktail was just OK- was kind of like just soda and infused vodka : maybe that's what it was supposed to be? My manhattan was superb!

To say I'm a fan of Elliott's is an understatement. After moving to Tucson, I was seriously hunting for a solid bunch establishment and a friend suggested Elliott's. I was sold after she mentioned $2 mimosas and $3 Bloody Marys, but I have never been disappointed with Elliott's. The brunch menu is delicious and affordable. I always tell myself that I'm going to try something new on the menu but my love for the breakfast sandwich is great. The happy hour is killer with great drinks and a great appetizer menu. The service is fantastic as the staff is super friendly. I go to Elliott's almost every other week and it is always a wonderful experience.

Great drinks! The infused vodkas are very fun. We tried a few and some were awesome, some we just sucked down to get on to the next one. My fiance loves jalapeno poppers so we had to try them and were very happy, they were huge! I could only eat two so he had the other 4. Very tasty! We also had the mussels which were awesome, all buttery and delicous. We didn't have dinner here but the service was good. They accepted my groupon so we got a good deal. We would go back I'm sure.

On the menu anything with duck is pretty awesome. Other than that, the food is pretty standard fare, nothing crazy or innovative. It's a good spot downtown for the sandwich, burgers, fries, salad crowd. What really stands out are drinks using the house infused vodkas. Especially during happy hour, the drinks are very reasonably priced. Between strawberry, key lime, jalapeño there are some really great combinations. My favorite is the Bloody Mary with horseradish vodka, yum!

Elliot's is great. I really like how this place has taken hold in one of the storefronts that set vacant for decades on Congress. I usually go in for Happy Hour. They have very good deals on food and drink. I don't drink vodka, but they have many different vodka drinks available. The food is not gourmand stuff, but it's above average for bar food. This is a fun place to get a good meal.

Friend and I had dinner here last night. We were greeted by a hostess and asked if we were there for the bar or to dine-in. We opted to dine in, and she led us to a table. She asked if we wanted to sit side-by-side, or across from each other, which was kind of weird, but whatever. Our waitress came and took our drink orders. My friend got a house raspberry-infused vodka with soda and a splash of cranberry juice. It was good. I got ginger-infused vodka with soda and a lime. It was not so good. I was going for a Moscow Mule variation, but I could barely taste the ginger. In fact, I'm wondering if the glass was washed properly, because strangely, it tasted more like garlic than ginger. For the next round, we both went for a bottle of Angry Orchard ginger-apple cider. It was DELICIOUS and sated my ginger craving. Now the food. The food is the reason I will come back. I had the black and bleu salad, which had medium rare steak, bleu cheese crumbles, diced tomatoes, and fried onions. I opted for the jalapeno-ranch dressing on the side. I asked for hot sauce with it, because I'm a weirdo and I like to dip my steak in hot sauce. The server forgot to bring it. She was sitting at the bar chatting up a storm with some guy, so I didn't want to interrupt her and I just grabbed a bottle of Tabasco for myself. The salad was really good, but it would have been nice to have a steak knife with it, because slicing the meat into bite-size portions with a butter knife proved challenging. My friend ordered the mussels, which were awesome. They were served in a salty tomato (vodka-based?) sauce. Yum yum yum. She is a very good friend and let me finish her mussels! When it came time to pay, we put our card and cash out on top of the bill. And waited.... and waited.... it was at least 10 minutes before we could cash out, which was annoying because the server was in plain sight with her back to us having a laugh with some guy at the bar. Honestly, I've been to Elliott's during the day time, and the service was impeccable. Our server was knowledgeable, prompt and awesome on my day visit. So I don't know if it was just cause it was a Friday night and the vibe was more casual, or what, but I was less than impressed with the service last night. I'm in the industry, so it takes a lot for me to be critical. But I can also spot spotty service from a mile away, because I do it for a living. I will still go back, but maybe sit at the bar next time. And probably order something different... perhaps the salmon salad. Check it out, but don't expect miracles.

I'm not sure why we don't come here more often but we really need to make an effort to do so. I feel like sometimes in the pursuit of trying everything new downtown we tend to forget a tried and true sturdy place. That is Elliot's. We went in today for a late lunch and re-enjoyed some old favorites. We ordered the jalapeno boats, duck sliders, grilled 'n chilled shrimp and the BBC burger. All delicious. Maybe the only exception being that the boats could've used more bacon as the salt was lacking with all the cheese and agave syrup coating it. Either way we left very full and happy. I've tried their jalapeno margarita and can't say I'm a fan but would like to try a few other infusions. Our server was very attentive considering she was the only one on the floor with several tables in the restaurant. With more and more bars going the way of 'no TVs' it was nice to come in and watch some soccer while we enjoyed our meal.

Urban Tavern What do you get when you take an old building, put up some tv's, have great happy hour specials and good service--I'd say success. Ambience--a little down scale--but not bad. You'd go here casual or perhaps pre-clubbing, but nothing upscale. A prom dress or a tie would be lost in this space. Lots of brick walls, glass front, tables outside and more urban tavern than anything else. Drinks--refreshing, a little light on alcohol, but the drink specials were such that you didn't expect potency--think the wells and beers were 3 bucks and the martinis were 6 bucks. All in all, you'd have to drink about 6 drinks to get a buzz. Appetizers--we got the jalepeno boats that were supposed to have shrimp in them, but we didn't see any. Plus we got the cheese sticks--pretty good. Dinner--one person got the quack (duck sandwich) which looked excellent. Another a burger, which was enormous. I got the vodka pasta--add chicken. The vodka pasta has bacon--woohoo!! The chicken was an add--but well worth it. My wife thought it needed more basil--but they had me at bacon!! Side Salad--super fresh, really liked it and the honey mustard dressing was decidedly different but enjoyable. All in all, I'd go back and I'd love to try some other items. The fact that they had 4 baseball games on was fantastic. Improvement thoughts: Tell me the drinks would be slightly better as a double. Also, we probably needed a little more help with the menu choices as this was our first visit.

Pretty disappointed with the poor service we received. We came in as a group of 7 for early dinner on a Saturday. A server seated us right away and got our drink orders without delay. It seemed everything went well until our food came. It looked like the server had no idea what entrees we ordered and constantly kept putting the wrong dish in front of the wrong person. She got it wrong for all 7 of us and apologized, kinda. Okay, a minor bump but not the worst thing in the world. Then, she disappeared for a while and checked on us finally after a long hiatus. After we finished eating my friend asked if she could possibly split the bill a couple ways. She brusquely replied no and actually uttered the words, "I wouldn't be able to split it anyway because I have no idea who ordered what". Yikes. That confirmed our suspicions. As far as the food, it was okay. I ordered a burger with the garlic parmesan fries. I enjoyed the burger but not the fries. The "garlic parmesan" part was nothing more than (probably) grated Kraft parm mixed with garlic salt dumped on top of the fries. The fries were also soaked in the deep fryer too long as they were greasy and soggy. If I were ever dragged back here against my will, I'd sit at the bar and order a drink. The vodka infusions are great. But not great enough to keep me coming back.

Pretty chill bar. I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would "complain" about is that they should have a bigger bar area. I went there last night with a friend and the bar area was crowded but that was just 1/5 of the whole bar. I saw that my one of my colleagues from my lab was working as the bartender last night. I said hi; kudos to him to work the night before lab. Anyway, he made a mean Mexican Spice Shot. It was like strawberry vodka with something spicy and salt on the rim. So it was like sweet, salty and spicy; very interesting mixture. Loved it! My friend also got us some Southern Bondage; very, very nice drink. I like the bartender (super nice and friendly; maybe because I know him from lab so we had a small talk about the lab), his name is John. Get him to make you that Mexican shot; I think he made it up.

When Steak in the Neighborhood closed, we were quite upset. When we learned about Elliot's opening in its place, we were excited that *something* would be joining our downtown culinary lineup. We've dined here for lunch and dinner a few times now. In some ways, Elliot's has impressed me very much. In other ways, it's a bit of a let down. The space itself is open and inviting. There's not a whole lot going on decoration-wise, but I'm a minimalist, so that doesn't bother me. The booths are comfortable. The bar is spacious. My only real gripe is that the black tables are the kind that show exactly how dusty they are because of the type of material they are. We've been sat at a table that had a bit too much dust for my liking. It made me wonder just how many people they serve a day. Which leads me to feel a little trepidatious about the food freshness. Friends had just dined here, though, and they recommended it, so we didn't let our trepidation get the best of us. And I'm glad we didn't. The food is decent. It seems fresh. For appetizers, we've had the cheese sticks, which are pepper jack and cheddar cheese sticks wrapped in wonton and fried. Once, the cheese wasn't melted all the way. Another time, they were done perfectly. And when they're done perfectly, they're delicious. The wonton adds an unique flavor that differentiates these cheese sticks from others. The cheddar adds the sharpness, and the pepper jack adds just a slight bite of spicy. They're truly very good. We've had some meals that we liked a lot, some that were just ok, and some that were categorized into the "never gonna order that again" list. The duck club is wonderful. The duck is moist and flavorful. The orange flavored mayo really compliments the flavor of the duck well. The fish and chips, called "London Calling", was a large portion of fish with their fries. The fish was fried to a beautiful golden brown. It tasted great, but the breading was a little too heavy for my husband's liking. It was just a version of fish and chips that he doesn't prefer, but we can see how others would. Their fries are decent. I happen to like softer fries, which these are. They're seasoned well, and they give you a heaping portion of them. The parmesan fries aren't worth the upcharge, though. They get to be too salty, and the parmesan & garlic butter combined with the grease and the soft fries makes for a really weird mouth feel. The vodka pasta was my least favorite dish so far. I really, really dislike mushy pasta, and this was very mushy. Little bits (like, bacon bit sized) of crunchy bacon were thrown into it, and it was too much of a textural contrast to the mushy pasta. The vodka sauce was ok, if a bit bland, but it's not bad. I wouldn't order it again unless it was refined a little bit. For dessert, we've tried the chocolate covered bacon with vanilla ice cream. This dish just wasn't for us. The chocolate was thick and very tasty, but the bacon was mushy and chewy, and seemed to be way, way too salty even for bacon. I might try it again if I knew the bacon would be less chewy, but not otherwise. The vodka infusions are interesting. The one drink I tried ("Blue" something or other) had blueberry and mint vodka. It tasted a bit watered down to me. Their happy hour prices are very reasonable though, so I'll try other infusions in the future. The service has been friendly and reasonably attentive. Overall, I'd recommend trying Elliot's. The prices are reasonable, the food is decent, the service is pleasant, and the drinks are unique. Don't let the construction stop you from trying out this restaurant or any other downtown!

Oh my gosh, the pork belly slider appetizer was amazing!! I havent been a fan of the food here in the past but this sandwich might have single handedly changed my mind. 3 delicious little sandwiches, filled with succulent pork, no more to say other than JUST EAT IT! I washed it down with the jalapeno vodka-rita, it was great as always. Ive also really enjoyed the basil vodka pink lemonade and the strawberry fields with strawberry and ginger vodkas ... Elliots has great infused vodka drinks and I highly suggest you try them all. And the best thing about this place is their happy hour -- 4-close. Talk about a happy hour! I hope to see this place stick around Congress Street for many years to come!

The first time here I had the Black Bean Burger which is now my second favorite veggie burger. Maybe it should be my #1 but the garlic parmesan fries were so amazing that they really stole the show. I was also happy with my bloody mary, which I rarely can find here in Tucson. My second time here I had the Duck Club which was so damn good that it was hard to choose between stuffing it in my mouth or stuffing in more fries. I think it was Huevos Rancheros that my boyfriend ordered but the egg was poached so perfectly that I could have kissed the person who cooked it.

We were unimpressed. The Jalapeño 'Boats' were more the size of dinghies. They were advertised to be stuffed with shrimp, cheese and topped with bacon. I'm guessing that maybe the shrimp was puréed with the cheese, as there was no evidence of anything resembling shrimp. But that's just a guess. The three halves ( side note: What happened to the fourth?) were topped with a smattering of bacon bits, and placed on a cot ( not quite a bed ) of shredded iceberg lettuce. Simply not enough taste for such a small plate of food, and not enough quantity to look past the lack of taste. I can't see us returning, maybe you'll have better luck.

Horseradish Infused Vodka! Bloody Mary on a Sunday. You know it! Although we didn't try the food it smelled good, the inside was a bit cooler than we wanted so we took one of the 2 tables outside. The server was on top of her game and had our drinks out in no time flat. After just having a bad experience in a nearby watering hole, this was an definitely a turn around. Thank You "Elliot's"

Food: Shoestring fries are totally worth it!!! The duck is pretty good, too. I'd get the deep fried pb&j a la mode over the chocolate covered bacon. The other things on the menu are average. Drinks: Creative infused vodkas. I recommend the key lime pie drink made with key lime vodka and the kicker...a graham cracker crust dusting the rim of the martini glass! Atmosphere: Love how they play sports! The decor itself is just like any other new downtown Tucson restaurant. I think downtown restaurants need to find their own unique interior look because most of them seem to look the same. Service: decent, no complaints Price: I'd just go here for happy hour specials. The usual prices are more expensive than it's worth (except for maybe the shoestring fries...because who doesn't like shoestring fries??).

What a great little bar/restaurant. I was in Tuscon for a concert and when walking around town several locals all recommended I check out Elliots and thankfully I did. I had the BBQ Duck sandwich which was tender pulled duck doused in citrus chipotle BBQ sauce, topped with gooey pepperjack cheese and jicama coleslaw on a New York roll. It came with a side of Buffalo chicken pasta which was a nice twist on the classic pasta salad. There was live music inside and it was a weeknight so I assume this place is great anyday of the week. They also have an abundance of infused liqours to wet your pallate.

If you find yourself out and about on the weekend and get tired of the pretentiousness of other drinking establishments *cough* hotelcongress *cough*, then Elliot's is probably the place you're looking for. The staff is always super nice and their vodka drinks are always super cheap. I would definitely recommend the Strawberry Moccasin, a couple of those and you won't know what hit you. This is a good place to get your drink on before heading to H2O to get your groove on. I haven't tried their food, but it always smells delicious.

From the outside this place looks like a dive. But don't let that stop you from giving this place a shot. The inside is modern, kind of a bistro type setting. They played music from the 70's which took us back to our younger days. Not sure if they always play this type of music but we really enjoyed it. The service is good and the food is fresh and delicious. I had the salad with grilled chicken(can also get buffalo chicken if you prefer) with Poppyseed dressing. It came with a generous amount of chicken already cut up in small pieces. The salad was romaine lettuce, very fresh and crispy. My friend the quesadilla. It was different that the guesadillas you usually see. It looked like it had been fried and looked scrumptious. My friend said it was really tasty. We shared the "bowl of fries." They are fries tossed in garlic butter sauce and parmesan cheese...yummy! We had to try the Chocolate Covered Bacon for dessert, served with vanilla ice cream. She liked it but it was a little too rich tasting for me. They also offer a deep fried PB and J which I want to try next time. They also offer a variety of burgers and even a duck club which I haven't seen anywhere. I may try that next time as well. The prices are reasonable. My salad was about $8.00 and the fries were only $5.00.

I went to Elliott's just for drinks, so I cannot comment on the menu. The place was pretty simple. Our waitress was nice and informative - she even gave us some samples! The house-infused vodkas are great. I really like that you can build your own cocktail based on the vodka you choose and your tastebuds. You could go very simple, like the basil-infused vodka and club soda with lime (my choice; it was good if you like basil). Or you could get something a little more creative like the pumpkin russian. Either way, it's totally up to you!

The cheese sticks and garlic fries are our favorites. Everytime we are downtown, we end up here. I would give this place 5 stars, but due to the terrible waitress we seem to *always* get, it's 4. The first time we went the service was outstanding, our waitress was fun, spunky, and helpful. Each time after that we seem to get this black haired girl who wears articles of clothing too short for her own good. She throws the menus at the customers, never greets us, and probably has the worst social and customer service skills in the world. Many of our couple friends (who have been present for Brunches at Elliot's with us) have had the same problems with this girl in their past visits. However, we love nearly everything about this little gem, and the drink variety is fantastic. The Key Lime Pie shots are very tasty. The bar itself offers like 15 different infused vodkas, including jalapeño and bacon! We will definitely be returning to Elliot's, but I really hope we get a different waitress.

I tried this new downtown spot for dinner. I found the menu to be a little bit all over the place, with duck specialties, burgers, and deep fried pb&j. I decided to go with a burger (the Western - basically a bacon cheeseburger with fried onion strips) and garlic-parmesan fries and the meal satisfied me. I think the menu will continue to develop as the business finds its spot in Tucson downtown. I didn't partake in any of their vodkas, but my friend raved about the jalapeno and coffee flavors. Since I like supporting downtown businesses, I'll be back and I look forward to seeing them develop as a business.

I enjoyed my first visit here. I ordered both appetizers and a main course. As for the apps, the duck tacos were delicious. I ordered the jalapeno boats also. Unfortunately, they were mouth-burning hot. For my main course, I ordered the duck club, which was tasty. My friend got the fish and chips, and didn't like it as much. I like that there are several duck offerings on the menu. I also liked the garlic parmesan fries that came with most of the dishes. The meal was very filling. Chris (female) was an excellent server. She was friendly and checked on us often. I felt like I got my money's worth. Due to the unique menu and casual vibe, I would go back to this place again.

Man the bacon vodka bloody Mary... nummers. Careful it is pretty spicy. Got the BBC burger, undercooked but delicious. The parmesan fries are also very good. My girlfriend had the London calling. That was great too. Great service, atmosphere, and music was very nice also. Took a second trip. We both got the buffalo shoulder. We were not disappointed. Will be going for a third trip soon. I would give 5 stars but the burger was undercooked the first trip.

My experience was okay, went with my husband and friend, upon walking in on a Monday, no one at the host stand and no greeting so we helped ourselves to menu's, silverware and a table and still no one came up to us, just some glances from staff. Eventually we had a server, she never introduced her name, was able to do her job effectively but never checked in on us or made suggestion when we told her it was our first time. We ordered 3 apps (3 little birds, jalapeno boats & fish taco's), the bacon chesse burger and a jalapeno margarita: The food was very very flavorful, soooo delicious however be warned the appetizers may leave an umpa lumpa hungry! They were about $7 each, tasted delicious and were really small! The burger was tasty as well, nice & spicy as well as the drink. We couldn't really understand the vibe the place was going for, it had a sports bar feeling for sure: the staff clustered together around the bar and there seemed to be some staff off duty drinking it up at the bar as well, they even stood up a few times fast and their stools fell and banged on the floor. In the end I had to walk over to our waitress hanging with everyone at the bar to process our bill & she had to come over and ask how we wanted it spilt, we repeated down the middle. We were super excited to check out the new spot on Congress and let a bit hungry, disappointed and not really welcomed.

This place was pretty awesome! They have every vodka flavor imaginable. Even Jalapeno and ginger. Their appetizers were amazing. I recommend the not your traditional cheese sticks (made with wontons and gooey pepper jack and cheddar cheese,) the Parmesan bowl-o-fries and the Jalapeno boats (which aren't even spicy!) For dessert, I highly recommend getting BOTH the deep fried PB&J AND the chocolate covered bacon! TO DIE FOR! The bar tenders and servers were so nice and accommodating. Lorena was so sweet when someone in our party asked her if she could get a half pint because she was nursing. They accommodated our friend right away with no questions asked. This is the place to be downtown. I promise that you will not be disappointed. (pssst....here's a secret tip: ask the bartender to make you a surprise drink. They come up with crazy, good concoctions.)

The infused vodkas are super duper good, if you are not sure what to get go off the list or ask your bartender/server what they like. Only $3 a pop during happy hour you can't go wrong.

Delicioso! A group of us went in for drinks last night. We had 5 drinks as a group, and the bill was around $25 - unheard of! Granted it was HH at the time, but still - great deal! I was able to steal one bite of pasta salad, and it was great. It was a buffalo pasta salad - yes, you heard that right... Buffalo sauce on pasta salad. Wowza - how have I not thought of this??? Needless to say, I will be coming back again to try the rest of the food.

Monday Night I went with a friend who really likes their Cucumber Martini, They have happy hour all night long and bunch of different infused vodka's. There was a crowd there and it varied in the spectrum of an older hipster couple, a smattering of late twenty to thirty somethings, to an older couple; of which I could not tell which gender they were, it doesn't really matter it was more observation, (I think there was a lot of gin and cigarettes in their evolutionary process though). The booths on the side of the wall were comfortable and provided a good view of the milieu. I had the duck, which I was a little leery of, because duck not done right can be a greasy drippy nightmare if not done right. I jumped right in and had the duck club sandwich (it had bacon on it, and almost everything is made special with bacon). While being reasonably tasty with the bacon and all, I found it was a little too mayonaisey if such a word exists. If mayonaisy does exist I believe it could be used here, because it over road the duck (not like road kill or anything, not that I am against eating road kill, I just say no to it). The fries were good despite being frozen, some of the better frozen fries I have had. It was not a bad evening, I think I will go back.

Not sure if you have been to the Steak in the Neighborhood... The previous restaurant in this space ... The decor has remained somewhat the same (kind of a nightclubby feel) and the menu, while different, is still just as random as the restaurant that came before it. I ordered a basic chicken wedge salad, the friends ordered pasta and the duck club. Nothing too magnificent, but nothing bad either. Kind service... But I'm afraid if this restaurant doesn't find it's differentiator it will have a similar fate as Steak. Good luck Elliott's, we are rootin' for ya!

service can make or break a restaurant, and in Elliott's case, they need to do a serious review of their employees. We got off to a bad start, because we had a 6:30 reservation. They actually didn't reserve a table for us, so we weren't seated until about 20 minutes later. That wouldn't have mattered so much if we didn't have plans to go to a hockey game, of which we missed the first period... Then the waitress was a total stress-case, and was making everything much more difficult than it needed to be. She was impatient, and clearly hates her job. It seemed like we were inconveniencing her by dining at Elliott's... It was awkward and the vibe rubbed off on the table. We ordered drinks, and instead of just normally asking who had what, she thrusted the drinks in our direction and says in an annoyed voice "I don't know who got what". The food was decent, i had the cabernet poached pear salad with chicken which was delicious, and I had the jalapeno vodka-tini (spicy). Everyone seemed to enjoy their food well enough, except for my friend who's order was totally screwed up. In summary, the food is decent and the prices are right, but the service is awful and needs to change. I might give this place another shot, in hopes that the ridiculous waitress we had has either received an intervention or been let go. #disappointed

Elliott's has a large variety of their own infused vodkas which you can mix as you wish, or order solo for a measly $3 on Saturdays. I had my usual vodka cranberry, but used citrus mint infused vodka, which turned out to be delicious. Definitely recommended for vodka cranberry fans.

This place had the potential to be so good.........and was not so good, mostly because of the service. My friends and I stopped here for a bite to eat on a Saturday evening. We got a table right away, but the speedy service ended there. Elliotst offered a multitude of flavored vodka which a few of my friends went for (I opted for wine). Although we were a larger party of 8, our drink orders seemed to take forever. When I looked over the food menu, I was SUPER excited about the grilled cheese w/ jalapeno bacon. I consider myself a bit of a grilled cheese connoisseur, so I of course ordered it along w/ some parm-flavored fries. What could go wrong? Well, when our food finally arrived, our server didn't seem to know which plate belonged to whom....and to top it off my grilled cheese was luke-warm. I dug the flavor of the jalapeno bacon and cheese, but the cold food factor was not impressive. When it was time for ask for the checks, our server informed us that we couldn't get separate checks because she "didn't even know what we each ordered anyway." Seriously? I'm not saying I wouldn't try this place again sometime, but maybe not anytime soon. Hopefully the service will be better next time.

Went to the soft opening tonight..Elliott's has a hip, cool, modern vibe similar to the Hub...Two craft beers on tap and about 10 in bottles makes me happy..Service was a little green but very friendly & attentive..Food was very good for an opening..Looking forward to their full menu..If they can out last the hippie trolley construction they will be a great addition to downtown!

2 words....duck sliders!!! Their duck sliders are awesome. We also had the chocolate bacon, the jalapeno boats, and the parmesaen fries. All of it was good but the duck sliders are the best. We had good service too. Also, they infuse their own vodka. They had tons and the bartenders pour a heavy hand!!! Overall very good experience. We will go back!

Stop what you're doing, get to Elliott's, and order the bbq duck sandwich with parmesan garlic fries. Wish I could review some of the other food but this was what I stumbled on the first time and can't make a switch. Other than that cool place, good drinks, and great staff! All the workers are extremely friendly and helpful.

A new restaurant and bar willing to try something new with their food and alcohol selections in a Tucson that focuses on Mexican food, Mexican food or chain burger joints popular five years ago... For alcohol I'd suggest the strawberry field or proud mary infused mixed drinks. Since I have tried a few of their infused vodka's I can say the range varies from something fruity (strawberry, cucumber), something spicy (jalapeno, habanero) to anything in between. (Mint Citrus, Coffee Bean) For the appetizer I had the Grilled and Chilled Shrimp which was enough to hold me over until the jalapeno bacon cheeseburger arrived with parmesan garlic fries. The burger had the spice from the jalapeno but didn't overcome the bacon or burger. The fries had a little too much parmesian a few bites but overall were good and would get again. Overall, for a new place trying to combine both dining and a bar focused on specialty drinks the space they have seems to be open enough to pull off both pretty well. My friends and I will be going back again to try more infused vodkas and the chocolate covered bacon that I skipped on last time.

I really didn't like this place. I was excited to try someplace new for happy hour and I will never be going back. Our waitress was horribly rude, the decor and atmosphere wasn't inviting, my friend said the booth was incredibly uncomfortable, and the food and drinks were average at best. The only thing going for it was it's huge list of infused vodka, but that's not worth going back there.

Super Friendly and Easy going atmosphere! Great place to wait out traffic during happy hour. Sometimes 5 pm is a nightmare trying to get out of the downtown parking garages, Elliots is an Awesome place to enjoy a snack and a drink before heading home. Some of the best "Cheese Sticks" ever! No mozzarella here, just pepper jack and cheddar wrapped in egg roll skin served with vodka sauce! Yum!!

Wow. I have never in my life had such rude service. My sister didn't care for her bloody mary so asked the waitress if she could exchange it for something else. The waitress went "uhhhhh....." and didn't say anything else, so my sister offered to pay for it anyway(even though my sister had only taken one sip of it). My friend who had also ordered a bloody mary sent hers back too as she didn't like it. My friend, red in the face and super apologetic explained she wanted to exchange hers too, and like my sister, offered to pay for it even though she had only had a sip or two. Now all of us have worked as servers and are very hesitant to send things back, but their bloody marys were DISGUSTING. The waitress started saying something about how the bartenders are the managers and how they don't like to take drinks back or something. She also proceeded to say things like "well maybe you shouldn't have ordered blood marys if you don't like horse radish" this was quite baffling as bloody marys are literally my sister's favorite drink, and we all love horse radish because of its spice. She also told my friend that she should have tried my sister's bloody mary first before ordering one. I have worked as a server before, and if someone doesn't like what they ordered, you don't try to argue about them sending it back, you offer to replace it with something else. You also do not shame them about not liking an item. These are VERY BASIC tenants of customer service, but apparently ones that Elliot's has yet to grasp. It's a shame, I like the concept, and really thought they had potential, but the service is unacceptably and unforgivably poor.

Went in on a Monday after MMM with several friends. We stood around for awhile and finally seated ourselves. Our waitress seemed friendly enough but had a hard time hearing us so we ended up repeating our order several times. The service was fairly slow for a Monday and considering there were only a handful of people in the place. I ordered a Buffalo Soilder (chicken wrap) it was only okay. Nothing special at all and honestly I have had better at sandwich shops. My boyfriend ordered the Duck BBQ sandwich and thought it to was okay but I found it way to sweet and wouldn't have even known it was duck meat had it not been for knowing what he ordered. Don't bother upgrading to the Parmesan Garlic fries for $1 extra, really not worth it and the fries were cold when we got them. Overall I had hoped for a better experience and food that tasted more homemade/original rather than pre- prepared food. In regard to the drink I had the Jalapeno Vodkarita, it was very good. The Vodka was infused with what tasted like real jalapeno, which I would order again if i decide to go back.

The happy hour prices are reasonable and the drinks are good, but I'd say the appetizers are hit and miss- liked the fries but wish they were crispier, did not care for the duck sliders with BBQ, the hamburger sliders are nothing special, but the deep fried PBJ was pretty darn tasty. I keep going for happy hour to get the fries because they are cheap. I'm not much of a vodka fan, but if I were, the menu is extensive for infused vodkas. The service is friendly and I like the look of the place.

Brunch! Brunch!

Who ruins duck, and how..?

Good food and an even better atmosphere. Go whenever they have a local band playing its a lot of fun. Unfortunately the service wasn't that great. Our waitress didn't check in on us and it was a pain to flag her down to pick up the check.

Monday night in house jazz starts at 9:00pm. Attended last night, all night happy hour featuring $2.00 wells, $3.00 beers, $1.00 off glasses of wines. Bargain apps all night. Was told it was same Tuesday as well. Great time, will like to revisit.

OMG. A place that infuses their own vodka. ... amazing. The bartenders were friendly and the assistant manager very knowledgeable about the infusion process. Drinks are priced really low for what you get. I recommend the cucumber/basil vodka with soda water plus lime YUM.

5 Starts though I have only been here nights.. Bartender services are awesome, they can make you anything here, and you can expect real drinks (no rip off watered down drinks) Good vibe, attracts eclectic downtown crowd, and friendly staff!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.
