Love this place & would love to see one in the Phx area! The subs are fine, but the drinks are the best! Nothing compares :)

Smoothies + 110 degrees = happy Arizonan The abundance of sunlight and heat that the desert brings is unbelievable ! 8 months out the year its sunshine and smoothies. Going to eegees on a beautiful arizona day makes us forget about those dreadful summers. when they do come sneaking up on us - sometimes as early as June - there is nothing more that we would rather do than to jump in a pool and buy an ice cold smoothie! Thanks eegees- for making our summers a little tolerable ;) Brain freeze cure - Put your tongue to the roof of your mouth

I've been going to this location since it opened, always good food ... Until yesterday when I bought a combo meal with a strawberry eggees.. I got 1 spoonful of my eggees down before I saw a 1 inch piece of Brown hair sticking out of it! I called to complain and management acted like it wasn't a big deal and I could just stop in a grab a new one! No thank you!!! I will never return again, it's rather disgusting that there food service people don't wear hair nets!

Eegee's is one of the few places I MUST visit when I return to Tucson. Maybe it's the nostalgia of a cold Eegee on a scorching hot day during my childhood or maybe it's because they actually do have awesome sandwiches and the most amazing ranch dressing I have ever had! Either way, Eegee's has always kept me coming back for more! I prefer their sandwiches Grinder style and, unless the flavor of the month is Watermelon, I always go for the old school lemon Eegee. What can I say, I like it traditional! Usually, though, I come here for a quick snack in between meals and munch on their always yummy french fries with a side of their outrageously delicious ranch dressing. Seriously, this stuff is gold. I am always tempted to stock up on it and bring it back to San Diego with me but at $0.25 a pop that might end up being a little pricey! I'll always come back to you when I come home, Eegee's, so don't you go and change a thing

Decent sandwiches and the slushes are great. I would definitely visit often if I lived closer.

A gem, that is it's own lovely gift to Tucson is Eegee's. They sell sub sandwiches, salads, fries, pretzels and hotdogs. Most importantly they have fresh fruit slushes called Eegees which are like Icee's from 7-11 only more awesome. I just love picking up a their drink, a Eegee with iced tea-the teagee. An especially super delight they have is their french fries with house ranch dressing, OMG! I just can recommend this place more highly. Plus it's a nice price. Hurray!

I love eegees!!! The pretzels are gross but everything on the menu besides that are pretty decent.

Always love Eegee's. I live in Phoenix now but I always stop here when I can! Today the service was great and the staff was very cheery. Yum!

This will always be my favorite sub shop. Eegees is known for their fruit slush, but their sandwhichs are amazing and the ranch fries are out of this world delicious. I moved to CA and the to Phoenix, but I always make it a point to head down to Tucson at least once a month to indulge. A must stop shop while in Tucson!

They've got great subs and sandwiches, friendly and fast service, and amazing "Eegee's" slushies. You've never had a slushie/snowcone/Italianice like this. It tastes like real fruit with no gross artificial flavors, the texture is unique and I crave these weekly. ALWAYS GOTTA TRY THE FLAVOR OF THE MONTH,

I usually love this eegees. However, my most recent experience was not good. We received our sodas through the drive thru, only to discover they were flat. I told the cashier this and she looked at me like I was stupid. There was another cashier who overheard what I said and looked at me the same way. She continued to hand me the other drinks I ordered (of the same kind) and said, "ummm I will tell them about it." She didn't even offer to do anything about it for us-- to change it out while we waited, a different soda or refund. She didn't care. Very bad customer service.

When is a chain not a chain? When it is a local institution up against the giant Subway's of the world. If you live in Tucson and you want a fast-food sandwich, you should be going to Eegee's. A sandwich is a sandwich. And frankly on that count, they are about the same as Subway. They have a decent selection of various sub sandwiches. But that's not really why you go. First, you have the Eegee frozen slushes. These alone are worth the price of admission, although I wish they'd add a couple of the "flavors of the month" to the full time menu. But I guess that's part of the appeal. The other thing that always brings me back, are the pizza fries. French fries, marinara sauce, cheese, and oregano. Yummy. These are the real reasons to go to Eegee's. The sandwiches are really the side-dish to these tasty offerings. Now, what month is the watermelon Eegee? ;)

This is a great Eegee's, a VERY busy Eegee's, but they have a high turnover rate with customer serving and seating so the crowd is never an issue.....UNLESS you park in their tiny parking lot. The drive-thru line often backs up into the main parking area, blocking in customers who went inside and are now trying to leave. You seriously need a shoehorn to get in and out of that lot, so we usually just park across the street. We went around lunchtime and a lot of the tables were dirty, but RIGHT as I noticed (and wrote my Quick Tip!) someone came out and wiped them down. Great local chain!

Good sandwiches, the bread is good, ranch fries good but something we can make at home. Slurpees are the best ! I like the strawberries my girl loves the watermelon. Service was good, food was quick, place appears semi clean. I would come back again in the future but wouldn't go out of my way for it. Would b great to have one in Phoenix !

I LOVE EEGEE'S!!!! The last time I had an Eegee was at least 12 years ago, and it is just as tasty as I remember it. For those of you who do not know, you can only get these tasty fruit icee's in Tucson, I came all the way from Washington, DC to Tucson to get one and it was worth every mile and every mediocre meal between then and their tasty sandwiches!

This is more of a two and a half star review. Last week, my husband and I stopped in to grab something to eat after driving around all day in Phoenix and then in Tucson. I thought that maybe they were closing and that's why the service was just so-so. It was only 8:30 and according to this, they close at 11pm. So, now I just don't know what their problem was. Everything was fine until we were sitting eating and three or four employees (one who was off the clock and packed up to leave) were hanging around talking about this, that, and the other. It wasn't bad, just awkward to know that much about a stranger's afterwork plans, haha. Also, the girl who was taking the order that night just seemed unenthusiastic about well.. anything. I guess that comes with taking orders all day though.

I always thought that this place was just for old people on date. Boy was I kinda wrong. Their sandwiches and big ole buckets of icy goodness are reasonably priced and tasty! They really should market better because it's very clean and friendly inside. I highly recommend!

I try to always make it a point to visit Eegee's when I'm in Tucson. The Turkey, Ham and Cheese sandwich is awesome and the Bacon Ranch Fries are a must-have side!

This eegees is my favorite in town. Fast service and the crew is great. The slushies are so good. I only wish they served lime year round!

Delicious, fresh food. Quality ingredients. They put oregano on the subs, yum! Roberto was friendly and kept a smile as we took awhile to make decisions and had a complicated order.

Lemon Eegees.... Yum! Nice way to cool off with a refreshing slushy! I always look forward to one when I am visiting!

Eegees is an icon in Tucson, and it was once one of the best sandwich places in town, but their sandwiches have dropped in quality and taste over the years. It is now way overrated. Get any of the straight servings, and it is mostly the bread and lettuce that you will taste but it will still be on a mediocre bun. The only way to save the flavor is order heavy meat but that still doesn't save the lackluster bun. Just a bit better than Subway, if you order heavy, but not by much, unless you stick with the italian ice. They are always primo, tasty and worth the trip. Parking at this location is a real pain and poorly designed.
