We go here multiple times for the big fat chicken tacos on soft pita bread and sometimes the deluxe taco salads. The low stars is for the workers and inconsistencies. Sometimes they forget the beans on the side when asking for them to be off of the salad and sometimes they forget a fork! Their water isn't filtered and it always is in a tiny cup. The most annoying thing is having to repeat what you want to the workers in the drive thru speaker. Every time I order the big fat chicken tacos, they say, "you want soft chicken taco"? Learn better English and turn up your volume or clean out your ears! I've tried other things like breakfast sandwiches and fish tacos but they were all yuck. Paying $1.69 for a small drink is ridiculous and this lady forgot the drink while I sat at the window tonight and she took an order with someone at the counter, so I asked if she'd up it to a large and she said I ordered a small. She got soda on the top and asked for a napkin and she gave to me and closed the window. How rude. I never get a call or anything when I leave feedback. Jerks. Too bad those items taste so good and we drive across town just to get them since there are no other locations in mid town or east.

This isn't about food. Fast food Mexican is fast food Mexican! The issue is the deplorable way this store is maintained. Start with dinning room. Filthy! Window frames have critters and crud on every surface. The drink machines, two of them! One is out of service with rust and dust on the surfaces. The rest rooms, OMG! Women's Rest Room has toilet paper off the dispenser with blood on it. Picking that up people? Sinks and toilets disgusting as well as floor. Men's Rest Room has open holes in the wall with exposed pipes and insulation exposed. This wasn't a repair waiting to be done. It has been open for some time. Urinals, toilet, and sink also disgusting. Both Rest Rooms look like a shooting gallery. As for staff, woman is on ladder next to food, taping a sign up while talking on the phone as customers watch and comment among themselves. This isn't my first visit, but will be my last. It is so obvious that management pays little or no attention. Is anyone listening?

The food is the worst you ever had but at 60 cents a burrito.... also they are open 24/7. Even though their hours and prices are great I still can't give them more than 1 star because the food they serve is a disgrace to Mexican food.

Its good fast food. The Big Fat tacos are crinkle fries are awesome and they are open 24/7 and serve full menu all day. The quality is always good, the service could be better, but we are talking about fast food. *Update 2014 They used to be open 24/7, nope. Used to have FRee wifi, gone! Big Fat Tacos meal also gone They did a minor facelift on dinning room yet sacrificed the rest rooms as they are disgusting. USed drive out of my way to go here, NO MORE! Very disappointed.

I have mixed feelings. Dining inside? REMEMBER: One napkin per customer, per visit. if you can't handle that, swallow your pride and ask the management for another napkin at the counter. Don't even think of asking for a stack. You filthy slob. Driving through? Get ready for a surprise. For all the money this restaurant is saving on napkins, they make up for with extra food. We always get extra tacos, and for that I am grateful. Want a burger? Get a clue, this is Del Taco, not Del Burger. At least that's the vibe you get if you try to order one 2 hours before closing. Often times they'll say they're not making burgers anymore. Got a problem with that?

Really liked this place- good value and good service- however- gave me my receipt and asked me to fill out a survey- get a new marketing company- very hard to fill out and bumped me off the site and after l5 min. never got my $l.00 off coupon. Won't fall for that again!!!!! But really like the people and the food. Just too bad that a bad tech experience p.o.ed me off!!!

Do not eat at this restaurant! Went there for late night tacos and woke up at 4 am with the worst food poisoning of my life. Puked 6 times and spent half the day on the toilet. Followed by continuing stomach pain the next day and the inability to eat solid food. Beware!!

You never know what you're going to run into when going to a Del Taco. Could make you run at the site of it or runs down the pants of it. Either way, it could get bad quick. Though we love Del Taco because 59 cent tacos is the worlds greatest thing and since Taco Bell doesn't have anything under a 1.19 (remember 79, 89, 99 menu, of course we do) Del Taco is a key factor to stay full while on the road. Anyways this was the best tasting, looking, most satisfying Del Taco I've ever been too. I ate here and it taste great. Food was fresh and made to order. Best part was, I didn't feel terrible after. I didn't feel terrible at all. I could of ate it cold and it would of been great. Try that one Taco Bell. Either way, this del taco is worth your time, especially if you are broke or drunk. Much love to toss del taco. Also if you've never had those cheesecake bites, have you ever really lived life ?

Yes, I should not be eating Del Taco when there are so many authentic restaurants near by. Okay, now that that is out of the way, they make decent food but have trouble hearing my order correctly. It's a bit irritating, perhaps they should invest in a new speaker

Del Taco is cheap. My son remarked, "If I ran away, I would stay by a del taco 'cause I could eat there for cheap". Hopefully my little vagabond stays put, but it's true. Tacos, burritos, burgers. They have bomb fries, too. The crinkly, ones that are hot, soft and delicious, similar to my high school cafeteria's. Comfort food abounding. Check their veggie burrito or their new shrimp burrito. Their burgers made it to the top 5 burgers in America on the Kevin and Bean morning show this past week alongside In N Out and Wendy's. As far as fast food goes: Worth a try.

Of course this is not gourmet Mexican food; it's get-the-most-fake-for-your-money Mexican food. It's the food you grab after the bar, or when you're too tired after studying to make your own food. The drive-thru is always fast and the employees are always nice. No complaints!

...For the Double Del and CrinkleCut fries. Remember Bob's Big Boy burgers? This is the ONLY reason to go here and it's a FIVE-STAR reason to go here! Mexican Food you get elsewhere, the burgers are incredible.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
