I've been here twice and the food that I have had is very bland. Not much to it. It is healthy, but there are ways to spice up food without losing the health factor. Not terrible food, just not much to say about it. A healthy, bland lunch option.

I've struggled with healthy food places. What they add in balanced diets and lower cholesterol, they usually lack in taste. But on a recent trend of reducing bread and adding salads, when my friend suggested eating here I begrudgingly decided to give it a try. There's a full menu of salad options--almost one for any level of vegetable dislike. But! You can also custom create your own salad as well. Pick all your favorites! There's tons of options. Basic salad starts at $6.95 but if you want additional toppings or meats added, there's an extra charge. I got a salad with dried cranberries, apples, pine nuts, Gorgonzola cheese, and some raspberry dressing. It was good. I mean, really actually even-for-a-salad delicious. It was a generous size, and even included a small bit of bread on the side. I need to take a moment to appreciate their beverages options. There's one of those really cool "custom make your soda" machines that I've only seen elsewhere at Fuddruckers. But for an iced tea person like me, they have... get this... real actual iced tea. Not one of those stupid machines that spits out instant tea. This is fresh brewed, didn't taste like it had been sitting out too long, and it even provided an option for a decaf tea and another for an unsweetened tropical. If this was a 4 star place, just the iced tea options alone made it a 5! My tummy is full and happy! Just beware of the small parking lot--during busy times it's hard to get a spot (but there's more behind).

And now for something completely different... for me anyway. I am not really a salad person, but the wicked heat had me craving something cool and light. I had been here when it was Chopped. I, like, Elyse, am curious why they changed the name. On that long ago visit I had a sandwich and was obviously not impressed enough to go back... at least for a sandwich. They have prebuilt salad options or you can customize your own salad and, as the previous name suggests, they chop all the ingredients and bring it to your table. After they, of course, put it in a huge bowl. They have some panini and sandwich options as well as mac and cheese, if you want to carb it up. The Asian salad I had hit all the notes...crunchy almond slices, crispy chow mein noodles, broccoli and snow peas for nutrition, sweet mandarin oranges. salty soy based dressing and, of course greens. The added chicken ($2) was kind of dry and tasteless , but the mixture of all the other ingredients kind of counterbalanced that. I really enjoyed the salad, but did not care for the dry hunk of focaccia they served with the salad. That was desperately in need of butter... but maybe that defeats the purpose of eating a salad. I teetered between 3 and 4 stars, so consider this a 3.5. The more than $9 price tag for a salad was little hefty, so I am not likely to do a swift U-turn on Speedway to hit up Choice Greens, but when I am in the mood for a salad (probably a couple of years from now) I know where to go.

The best tomato soup around, no question. I only wish we could order half-portions of the salads and that they would find a solution to the parking problem at the Speedway location. I skip going to lunch there for that reason. Otherwise, though, it's just wonderful.

This place rocks. The salads are expensive but sometimes you need a quick and light lunch and you don't have time to prepare anything yourself. I love the Southwest chicken salad and I get it every time I come here. I tried a sandwich once when this place was called Chopped but I stick with my go-to salad now. It has dark greens, chicken, black beans, olives, tortilla strips, corn, and avocado. The ranch inspired dressing has a bit of chile (I think it's chipotle) and is, frankly, unnecessary. I always get it on the side because the salad is good enough on its own. The salads are huge and big enough for two meals (lunch now, dinner later). Paninis, sandwiches, soups, and some baked goods are also available. A summer dinner deal is going on right now: 2 people eat for $16. Great lunch spot!

It's good, and quite healthy. But, over the last two years, they've slowly jacked up prices, and taken away things that are included in the meal. For example: - only 4 mix ins on the basic salad (used to be 5) - used to have a wonderful slice of rosemary foccacia bread with the meal, now gone - salad size used to be enough for a solid dinner, now quite truncated size leaves me hungry For about $11 for a salad with a protein, it's getting a bit expensive for lettuce, a few veggies, and a cup of protein.

How do I sum this place up? Green deliciousness! Whenever I make salads at home, they are lousy. There's always something unappealing and I leave it on the side and eat the stuff I did prepare well. This is because I am inept in the kitchen. However, the people at Choice Greens are far from inept and prepared a salad that made me almost want to lick the scraps from the large bowl. I ordered an Asian salad which included yummy Mandarin slices and greens and almond and for no extra fee I added baked tofu (my friend and I shared a two plate, two drink special for about $17 total). It was such a good salad! Wow! I was tempted to build my own salad, but I liked having it all prepared and thought up ahead of time. And no this isn't a salad buffet- they make it and deliver it to your table. And on this occasion, it arrived at the table seconds after I filled up my drink. They give you an option to put the dressing in your salad or on the side. They also have Mello Yello drinks in the soda machine. Oh, yum! There was also a nice fresh chunk of bread on the plate. Mmmm.

The salad was fresh, but way over priced... in got a decent size salad, but the cost was like 9 bucks for lettuce, dressing, croutons, bacon, cheese, eggs, and avocado. The service was fast and the employees were very nice.

This place is awesome. I called in an order, and they made the wrong salad, but promptly made the correct salad, didn't make me pay for it AND gave me the incorrect salad to take to someone at work. I was thrilled and it was all total unnessecary. The General Manager here is always working very hard every time I come here. The operation runs smoothly from what I can see. The food is fresh, cold food served cold. And the employees all are super nice. I wish there was an east side location!!

Have you ever eaten a salad? Did you like eating salad? Then this is the place for you. My wife wanted to go here because she REALLY wanted a salad. I didn't want to go because I REALLY didn't want a salad. She had told me before about these places that sell just salads. I accused her of heresy. Turns out, she was right. You start off by filling out a little card kind of like ordering sushi. Order your greens, mix-ins, protein (meat), and your dressing. It also comes with a large chunk of bread, which I don't get, but whatever. You get four ingredients to add to your salad and you can add more for a price. The meat is also 2 bucks extra. I ordered my spinach salad with croutons, turkey, tomatoes, and something else I can't remember. I began to panic at the prospect of eating entirely healthy until I got to the register. They have a basket up there filled with gigantic brownies and chocolate chip cookies. I bought a cookie. The salad was good blah, blah, blah. But that cookie. HOLY SHIT that cookie. It was larger than a saucer and super thick with chocolate chips the size of dimes. Moist, chewy, chocolaty, and amazing. I could have just ordered three or four of those and saved some money. Which brings me to the price. I thought it was a little pricey. Was over 12 dollars for my salad, a drink, and the cookie. I think next time, I wouldn't get the turkey. Was good but for 2 dollars, I wouldn't really miss it. The salad did fine on its own. Was actually a pretty decent sized salad and with the chunk of bread, you should fill up. My only other complaint is the parking. Another Tucson business that managed to address every factor of owning a business except where to put things like customers. In fact, if I were in charge of this Yelp page, under "Parking" I would put, "Not really." God help you if you show up here on a super busy day. I think Sun Tran has a Choice Greens shuttle that picks up near the airport. In the end, I liked it. Probably wouldn't come back on my own just because it's not my thing. But if my wife wanted to go again, I wouldn't complain.

I come here several times a week, and really enjoy every visit. The salads are wonderful. They have tons of fresh ingredients, things you actually want to put in a salad like fresh mozzarella, kalamata olives, tuna salad and amazingly good thick crispy bacon. Every salad is customized and made to order exactly how you want it, so you can tailor it to whatever unusual dietary regime you are experimenting with. At first I thought the idea of 'freshly chopped' salads was strange. Why would I need someone to chop up up my salad? It turns out, it makes a huge difference, even if it is a frivolous indulgence. Chopping a salad makes all the pieces bite sized, no more struggling with large clumps of lettuce and greens as you shove it your mouth. I feel like a prince every time I take a bite. Fancy. Also, it is pretty reasonably priced. $10-12 for a salad with a bunch of extra add ons and a drink. There are a bunch of things other then salads, such as pizzas, soups, and sandwiches. And everyone I've encountered who works there is super friendly. All around a great place!

Update 2/11/14: after visiting a few times in January, I had discovered the beef and cheddar panini was to replaced by "fast fire pizza" in order to compete with the new craze in Tucson, pizza. Restaurants have every right to change their menu, and I voiced my dissatisfaction to management at the Campbell location. I've continued to eat at Choice Greens since then, as it's a local business and offers fresh ingredients at a fair price (you're not paying for wilted lettuce like you would at a "fast food" joint). I've updated my rating to reflect my dissatisfaction with their marketing practices. I don't know why you would promote, rehash, and share reviews of items that you no longer have available to order - and to do it repeatedly for weeks is just insult to injury, and makes me as a reviewer, appear to be uncredible - hence me updating my review. Choice Greens is still a great place for a quick lunch, but it's lost the "wow" factor for me. -- Previous review on 12/13/2013 -- A salad place that not only makes amazing built-to-order dishes, but their panini sandwiches are killer (here's looking at you, beef and cheddar). And don't get me started on their broccoli cheddar soup... A must try in the University area. Friendly staff and management make this a pleasant stop for a meal. Order ahead online to save time in line during peak hours!

Choice Greens does have good salads that are very filling and tasty. The service is spot on: Friendly, fast, and accurate. There are numerous items to choose from to create your own salad and all are fresh with generous portions.

Choice Greens is, for me, that go-to salad place. Every town should gave one. A place where you can pick all the junk that goes into your salad and somehow it comes out better than if you threw those same things together at home. Or you can trust them to make your selection for you with some pre-designed creations. Both ways are good. I always leave Choice Greens feeling really satisfied. Full, but not too full, 'cause it's just salad, yeah? I have been let down a couple of times. An underripe avocado, a very sparse showing of bacon, that sort of thing. But usually everything is great. Unlike some others, I really like the dry-ish hunk of focaccia that comes with the salads. It's just like one big, soft, herb-y crouton. The only thing I'd change about the place is that it's like one big cafeteria at lunch--loud and full with a long line, but I suppose that's a testament to their popularity. Maybe one day I'll try a sandwich or soup.

Run don't walk to Choice Greens! Excellent choices, fresh food, and fast and attentive service! If you like the ability to choose your own salad fixings, this is the place for you!

Thank you for salad, thank you for making it just for me and thank you for online menu ordering and quick pick up! Sometimes a great salad is a life-saver. This is the place to go for fresh good food. The staff is friendly and they must run the biz well as I don't see much turnover. I love going there to relax and have a great salad.

How can you go wrong with customized salads!? Choice Greens is my go-to place when I'm in a crunch for time or I'm just too exhausted to cook anything. I love that you can get as creative as you want with the salad options. You have your choice of lettuce (spinach, mix greens, romaine, iceberg), a choice of fresh veggies, beans, fruit, cheese, nuts, etc, choice of protein and dressing! For those who want to make a quick decision, they also offer several of their own creations on their menu, so that's nice too! Not in grazing mode? Thats ok! Because they also offer a good variety of sandwiches, soups and now they have mac n cheese, which I think is pretty decent coming from a salad joint. You can also call in your order for pick up! It's fast, easy and the service is always friendly.

  • Nina P.

Great place to grab a quick salad. Unfortunately, I didn't read that every additional topping after 4 is $0.59, so I ended up marking about 11 toppings and buying a pretty pricey salad. It was delicious though!

Oh Chopped! I mean Choice Greens... This place always makes me happy! I have recently discovered the order online version, which is amazing for someone like me who is generally on the go! They have a variety of choices between salads, paninis, macaroni, soups, etc. I don't think anyone can really go wrong! I am not sure if the salads are on the pricey side as I haven't gone anywhere else, but you can expect to spend at least 10 bucks when you go here.

So far I have eaten take out from this place two times, and I wish I had known about it a long time ago. My husband and I love it! I get the spring mix salad with apples, radishes, tomatoes, sugar peas, and goat cheese with a cilantro dressing. I am in love! My husband gets the Avocado Club Panini. We got take out today of the same order and it was busy, but service was very friendly and fast!!! She asked me about my day, and no sooner than 2 mins was my order ready. I love that it comes with a nice hunk of bread, it has to be baked fresh daily cause that's what it tasted like. We will be going here again, and when we move I will certainly miss it. (side note, parking sucks! parked at the piercing place next door. lol)

meh. It wasn't awful, but it isn't somewhere we'll go again. My boss sent me over for lunch, it was a (25m) drive which is no biggie. Got there and everyone seemed like they hated that they were there. Yes it's healthy, yes it's convenient, but overall I just don't feel like the price is justified. It was yummy but not holy wow def. worth it yummy. Coolest part was prob all the different drink choices.

By and large the best, fastest and most convienient way to get something healthy to eat around midtown. You can build your own salad with a huge list of choices or just pick one of their menu, but if you're don't mind the extra carbs the sandwiches are really good. They have a sandwich for just about anything you could be in the mood for, and just as many topping options as you can get anywhere else. The staff is fast and friendly and the dining room and food prep area are always immaculately clean. The only downside I can find to the place is that it's a bit imersonal. Not really the "everybody knows your name" that you get at some of the smaller eateies in the area, but I can deal with that in exchange for a quick tasty sandwich.

I love Choice Greens! I just recently discovered the Mac N Cheese dish that they offer and I was blown away!! VERY good mac N Cheese. I Also love the BBQ Chicken sandwich, very tasty! This place is highly recommended to anyone looking for tasty, healthy food. :)

This place is good.. but for the prices I really wish they would go organic! The problem with this place is that I always feel hungry after I eat here.. this is because the chopped portions the add ons are so tiny, that personally I just feel like they are charging you more and they give you less! Food is definitely good as far as salads can go.... but I would rather go to Whole Foods down the street for lunch for their salad bar!

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. So simple, yet so good. A little bit on the pricey side, but well worth it. I always order a custom salad, but the menu stretches beyond that and I never hear any complaints about the other food. Ingredients are fresh and the dressing is always delicious. I'm not even a fan of salad most of the time, but I can never get sick of this place. Once you eat here, you don't really want a salad from another restaurant again. At least I don't.

I love this place and always get the custom salad. The Mac and cheese dish is perfect for kids who are finicky eaters.

Yumcredible! I have been coming here after Bikram Yoga for their super-customizable salads and it is the best salad in Tucson. I totally feel healthy and wholesome every time i leave and have a smile for the rest of the day. It is my secret happy place! Yay! My favorite is grilled chicken, cranberries, cucumbers, croutons, corn, and cheddar cheese with extra lo-cal caesar dressing on the side. I call it the "Nothing but C's" salad (patent pending you guys!) and you should totally try it. I think you will agree that it should be voted President-for-life of Saladlandia. Delish! I only have 2 complaints. First, the salads come with a piece of bread which is a CARB. Gag! The second is that one time I came in and there was this weird guy sitting by himself in the corner with a laptop and was eating what appeared to be soup but I was unsure. I felt that he wanted to give the impression of eating soup . . . He had this really intense look and after I placed my order and sat down he stared at me and when I looked back at him for a second I could have sworn he had the head of a horse with the body of a man but that would be impossible, right? PAGING DR CREEPERTON! Anyways, Choice Greens is best.

If you're searching for this place with you phone try "Chopped". That aside, I am a big fan of this place. The staff is great and the service is better. The vegitables had the crunchy fresh taste and the bread they give with each meal is topped with rosemary. Not an over powering amount, but enough to let you know it's there. Great for vegetarians, and even for people that aren't. They serve amazing sandwhiches and the environment is very relaxing. If you have time for a healthy, delicious, inexpensive lunch then stop here.

For the only salad place in Tucson, it is great for a healthy meal. A little pricey but the salads are really good and there is a good selection of ingredients. 5 fresh "choppings" come with your $7 salad, and a protein will cost you at least $2 extra. Portions are good, but again I am sad that the selection of choppings is not that big (I think I'm obsessed with Core...) In short: Great for a healthy meal to-go. Tasty, fresh, and your waistline will thank you for it.

Yum!!! I had the Mediterranean salad and it was soooooo good! I added grilled chicken to it and it was so delish! Only downfall was that I was a brand new customer and the staff wasn't as helpful until I said hey look I've never been here and have no idea how it works. Well you go upto the counter and order there and then sit down and they bring it to you sounds simple enough right? For some reason it wasn't! Other than that my salad as enormous I couldn't finish it! A bit overpriced but I decided next time I'm going I'm splitting a salad with a friend or my husband. The wine is no good thgh seriously they serve Sutter Home which is just yuck! So stick to the salads and you will love it! Enjoy!

I love Choice! I eat here for lunch at least 3x/week. You can expect fast service, nice team members, and fresh food, every time. The salads are over priced, therefore, my only suggestion is to start some type of customer loyalty program - it would make me even more of a raving fan of Choice!

  • Becca C.

Choice (formerly known as Chopped) would appear to be one of Tucson's hottest lunch spots, especially when the line at 12:00 is literally going out the front door. Specialty or custom-built salads made fresh from scratch when you order are huge, fresh, and fast. They even have a separate area for preparation if you have food allergies...a huge bonus for anyone striving to avoid gluten or other such things. Be cautious with the toppings...only a few are included in the base cost and then it's a per-item charge. It's easy to get carried away and I've ended up with a $15 salad on a few occasions. Aside from that, Choice is simply that: choice.

I like having a great salad place. I will say that some of their recent changes have led me to enjoy it even more. They have organic kale now as a lettuce option- more organic options would be nice but step in the right direction. They have a wide range of topping options. The dressing are flavorful unfortunately many of them are made with alternative, not so healthy oils which sucks oh and the ranch has MSG!! What? Good thing I don't like ranch. Don't worry it's not in your Chinese food its in your salad. Not many of the dressing are gluten free which is frustrating because its not hard to make dressing sans gluten. I am glad that they added a gluten free vegan soup to their list- I am not vegan but cannot have dairy or gluten which eliminates a lot of my options at choice. Most of the employees are very helpful but one did snap at me that they do not have any gluten free options, are you kidding me? I brushed it off and try to avoid her but the rest of the staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. Great place if I want something mostly healthy quickly.

This place now goes by Choice Greens, just FYI. We were looking for a place where my partner could get a yummy sandwich and I could get a huge and filling salad. My facebook posses suggested Choice Greens, and what I brilliant idea. I've been to a similar place in Denver called Mad Greens, so I knew how it worked. I ordered my own salad with a spring mix, hearts of palm, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, mandarin oranges, blue cheese and walnuts, with fat-free Asian dressing. My partner got a good ol' turkey sandwich with mayo. Service was very quick and very friendly. My salad was HUGE and delicious, albeit it fairly expensive ($10 -- you pay extra past the first 5 ingredients). I ate it all. LP loved her turkey sandwich and pasta salad, though we weren't sure why the pasta salad came in plastic. The bread that came with my salad was dry and kind of gross, despite the delicious rosemary on top. All in all, a tasty way to grab an afternoon bite, but make sure you're ready to pay more than Subway.

Great little spot to make the most kick-ass salad of your dreams. I loved the soups, the tasty bread you get with your salad, and the abundance of toppings for salads. Really helpful and friendly staff even took time to help me figure calorie counts and portion sizes of each item i chose. A little bit pricey, my partner and I agreed it was worth every penny. Next time we are going to split the salad because it was enough to feed a small village.

First time at Choice Greens and that was a yummy lunch! The lines go quick (they have 3 cashiers and one of them is dedicated to phone orders), friendly and fast. I had the Orchard Apple salad with dressing on the side and added on the 1/2 order of the roasted corn chowder soup. The soup comes in a metal tureen with a lid that kept the soup nice and hot (wish I took a picture of it). The soup had lots of roasted white corn, and was not heavy, which I love. The salad is a good portion that also comes with a piece of foccacia bread. Everything tasted fresh and tasty. My co-worker had the made to order mac-and-cheese, which I think you can only get a the speedway location. And that was delish! Pipin' hot and supper cheesy with the breadcrumb topping. I'll be sure to come back and try some other items. Yum!

You can never go wrong with a salad from these guys. The orchard apple is great. However, you can always make your own custom salad. The ambiance is not too loud. The place is always clean. Speedy service with a smile.

Choice Greens (formerly Chopped ... anyone know why they changed the name?) has become our go-to weeknight dinner when my husband doesn't feel like cooking (yes, he does all the cooking) ... sometimes we'll even head out intending to go somewhere else and then admit to each another that we're really craving Greens. I always order: romaine, avocado, black beans, jicama, tomatoes, tortilla strips, and BBQ ranch dressing on the side. Hubs always gets the avocado club panini. Making me hungry just writing about it!

Being in the mood for a good fresh and hearty salad we searched Yelp, Google and local internet searches for suggestions. Each search result gave us Choice Greens as the best and most popular result. We went and decided to design our own salad, we liked that this is not a salad bar where the general public is hovering over the food, they had salad creation station where you select your greens, then the toppings like veges, fruits, cheese nuts and proteins. They make their OWN salad dressings and were quick to share with us they also had nutritional info on the dressings. I selected the BBQ ranch - YUMMY!!! We were very pleased with the food and the awesome customer service, everyone was really nice and helpful. Will we return, Yes. If we visit again we will be sure to return :o)

If you don't mind dropping $10 on a salad, then you'll definitely enjoy this place. You can get your salad just the way you want it, and the combinations are endless. Service is quick, and the online ordering system is super convenient if you need to feed your entire office. The desserts are great, too, especially the lemon bars! My pick: romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, chickpeas, and feta cheese with low-fat garlic vinaigrette. Yum!

I am pretty impressed by Choice Greens, and would have given it another star if it wasn't for a key ingredient....their chicken seriously sucks. I thought while the salads were a tiny pricey at $6.99, there were some gourmet ingredients to choose from (sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus and feta were good), unfortunately the chicken was the driest most tasteless chunks of chicken i've ever had to eat. I know there has to be a way they can marinate or season it to have some flavor, and not cook it so darn long...please I think Goat Cheese would be an excellent addition to their cheese list of options. And skip the tomatoes, they looked like cut up tomatoes from the top of a Burger King Whopper...even matching them in pale-red color. I ordered the Garlic Tomato Soup and inquired beforehand if it was a cream or a broth soup. He said broth so I ordered it...unfortunately there is NO way that soup wasn't cream-based....so stay away from the Garlic Tomato soup if you're trying to watch calories & fat...if you aren't, order it because it was freakin fantastic. 3.5/5...nice for an alternative, fresh healthy option

Stopped in for a late lunch with the fam, and we're now fans! I had a great custom salad, they chopped it and mixed it well --- and it was a good size. Wife had the caprese panini, it was delicious. Son had the PB&J with the crust cut off and gave it the thumbs up. Loved the selection of brewed tea and the homemade lemonade which I think is the best in Tucson. Service was good and prices were reasonable (might hunt for a coupon before our next visit) but no matter what, we'll be back!

The service today just hit rock bottom. They forgot part of the order. When we called to check on it to see if it was ready the manager said "what else do you want me to do other than credit the card" ? Well, it is simple. We were close enough we could have come gotten the missing orders. A simple apology and a "would you be able to pick it up" would have sufficed. Rude rude rude manager today. I won't be back

I am always looking for fast, affordable and healthy food. Choice Greens is all that and more. You can order salads and sandwiches off the menu or build your own. I opted to build my own, which was easily done by filling out one of the special cards with all my options. A base salad is $6.99 and includes choice of greens and 5 toppings. Protein can be added for $2 and additional toppings are $0.59 each. Lots of dressing choices as well. I was really impressed with some of the toppings such as asparagus, hearts of palm and beets--not your generic salad bar. Good sized salad as well (as in this could actually be a meal) and comes with a slice of fresh bread. Service was fast and friendly. All around great experience. Will be back for more!

Not a fan of the name change, at all! Moving on however... Fresh & crisp veggies make this place popular. Not only do you get to customize a salad to your exact liking, made fresh when you order it, but the service is efficient. Or you can get one of their Classic salads (not as much fun in my opinion), a sandwich/panini, and/or soup. My favorite: step1- romaine lettuce, step2- artichoke or hearts of palm, Chinese noodles, feta, black beans, black olives. All CHOPPED together and tossed with Caesar or a Vinaigrette (step4). YUMMY So grab a card, fill out your choices, hand to the cashier, and grab a table before they are all gone because before you know it you will be feasting on a delicious & actually healthy if you so choose salad.

Considering that I work close by I have eaten here numerous times over the years. I always order online and pick up my food I think that I have only eaten in twice. They make good salads and their corn chowder soup is wonderful. I have had a few hiccups with them over the years, nice there was a fly in my salad and more recently they forgot to include my ham. I used to eat the avocado club panini all the time until I started to cut back on the carbs, it was very good. If their prices weren't as high I would most likely eat there a few times a week, now it's like twice a month. With good choices on making your own salads and other wonderful items I would recommend this place to almost anyone.

Choice is good. I eat here from time to time. The salads are delicious. They serve you huge portions; which for the price is justified. The paninis are awesome too; just wish they were a bit cheaper. Soup is good. My favorite is the roasted corn and green chile! I can eat that stuff almost everyday if I could. The food is delicious and I've never had any problems with the food. The issue I do have is the price. Every time I come here it is always around ten dollars. Ten dollars seems a bit expensive for a panini.

This was the first time to come to this restaurant and I really LOVED it! It was delicious and a great concept. I ordered a salad with all the my preferences and found that it was enough for more than one meal! It is a very healthy option and a great concept! Loved it!

yaayy i finally found a decent salad place in tucson. Its pretty good and fresh. i had a hard time deciding if it deserved a 3 or a 4, i'd say it really should be 3.5.... but since its cheap, i decided the price to quality ratio was adequate enough to deserve a 4. The soup I got (vegetable) was not very good. Too much salt or something. The salad you get is pretty giant! And I also like that you can access the nutrition facts - nothing annoys me more than when I get a salad thinking I'm making a healthy choice, and then I find out nutritionally its the same as a reuben. I had the asian chicken salad, and would certainly get it again. my roommate got the bbq chicken sandwhich which as also tasty, but intense. it has a lot of flavor, i don't think i could eat a whole one.

I love the speedy service I receive at this restaurant and how fresh the ingredients ALWAYS are. This is one place in town that offers the most variety of Fat free dressings and they actually taste really good! You can opt to have no bread included with your meal, your dressing on the side, and/or add additional ingredients to your salad (at a price). Aside from the salads, this restaurant makes some amazing paninis and soups and desserts that are perfect for sharing with a friend. Although the price can drain a bank account quickly, I still find myself coming back!! Plan to spend around $10, however, the size of your salad is big enough to compensate for the price. Definitely a great place for lunch. Also, if eating here at lunch time, parking can sometimes be frustrating.

This place was awesome. A delicious salad at a great price for the size of both the salad and hunk of yummy Italian bread.

great food and they are FAST :) and FRESH! Love how the salad is all mixed up so you just don't have dressing on top and the bottom is full of just lettuce. They have plenty of choices and varieties. Just tried their panini...turkey tuscan YUMMO!! Love to go to eat healthy and it's quick. Much beter then loading up and the other fast food restaurants!!! :) Their cilantro dressing is the best!!!!

"Choice Greens" which I think used to be Chopped, on Speedway. We stopped in for Lunch on a Monday. Everyone has to eat sooner or later, so we might as well talk about it. Agree or disagree, your replies are valued. Rating A+ 5 stars out of 5 Crap, I'll never get in the place again. Right now I am on a high protein low-carb regime. That means that salads and any soup which is not creamy is my friend! If you pay attention, you will be amazed at how hard it is to find non-creamy soups. I travel as part of my living so I am about as burned out on Chicken Caesar salads as a man can get. Nonetheless, at the behest of the most beautiful girl in the world, my Fiancée, I acquiesced and went to a place that is ostensibly a salad and sandwich place called, "Choice." Arrrrrr!! Not another Salad. I've been there before and had one of their sandwiches and as sandwiches go, it was good. Nothing memorable but good. Apparently I was not paying attention the first time. The premise of Choice is that you get to "choose 5 things" that go in your salad and you have complete control over your choices (go figure). They chop it up, mix it, and send it out to your table. 1) Your salad arrives in a cooled real plate! (no plastic) 2) Includes a metal fork (it's as if the person that created the place actually eats there) 3) What I ordered actually showed up! (Not a given) 4) It comes out fast and delicious. I ordered a salad and the vegi-vegetable soup. Both were prepared as close to perfect as I could ask for. The lettuce, I chose romaine, was fresh, and the bacon real, and all ingredients absolutely fresh and crunchy. The soup arrived hot and full of flavor and was as good as it gets. Suggestions for improvement? They need more parking, but I don't see how they can fix that. Otherwise don't change a thing. The place is packed at lunch and I will wait in line or time my lunch early/late. By the way, to the one lady at the four top reading the book. When you are in a packed restaurant with people in line and you've completed your meal and the staff has been by three times to clean everything off the four top you have tied up, as one person, and you pull out your novel and start reading? That makes you an asshole that doesn't get a hint. People needed a place to sit and the restaurant needs the income from that table. You suck! Get present and have a little courtesy. I will go back to Choice and may even crave this place from time to time. The staff was on top of it, made eye contact and seemed to like the place where they worked. I'll bet they eat there too. The only reason that they do not get 5 out of 5 is because their service model is; you order at the counter and they bring it out. I can't give a five for service because of a model that excludes my being waited on. Wait. OK, I give them 5 out of 5. Taking the waitress/waiter out of the model is an intentional stroke of genius, and insures that a complicated and very "choice" driven process doesn't get lost in the translation. Against my better judgment because you will probably start going there and I won't be able to get in, here is all you need to know about finding the place. Go, I highly recommend it. I think they are open for Lunch and Dinner and have two Tucson locations. A for Effort A for Ambiance A for Service - But an A for the waitress. A for the food taste B+ for the presentation AAA for not somehow screwing it up 5 out of 5 Everything you need to know is at choicegreens.com This review reflects my personal opinion and experience of the place.

Mmmm. I don't know why these salads taste so good. They're just regular salads that you make yourself! For those that don't know, you can make your own salad here by marking on a paper the type of lettuce, toppings, and dressing you want. Then they put together your salad. They also have a regular menu with soup and sandwiches I think but I've never ordered from it. Anyways, I'm not sure how the salad turns out tasting so good when if I made it at home it would just taste plain, but it does! It's about $7 for a salad with 4 toppings and a piece of bread. A little bit pricey but it's really good and it's a lot of salad...and it can make me pretend I'm being healthy.

My idea of a little piece of heaven! I loved this place! The only problem was figuring out just what type of salad I wanted on that day! The salad is made from fresh ingredients right in front of you, exactly how you want it! They make them super quick too, and by the time you've paid and sat down at a table, the salad comes out and you can enjoy your lunch hour! Loved this place! What a wonderful and healthy idea!

First things first: you could go to Trader Joe's, purchase identical ingredients, and make your own salad for a quarter of the price. When that isn't an option, you can gain fiber and lose money at Choice Greens. Their salads are fine, portions are decent, and the atmosphere is inoffensively bland. They offer a broad selection of ingredients--vegetables, nuts, cheeses, meats--and the quality is good, though not gourmet (again, think Trader Joe's). In all likelihood, you will ask for a few extra ingredients on your salad, only to discover that you have been nickle-and-dimed into purchasing a $13 salad that will leave you hungry in three hours. If you've got money to burn and like to micromanage your food, Choice Greens seems like a good option.

    (3)
  • Jaime F.

Just ate there after finding it recently on Yelp. The salad was very good, especially for a fast food type place. I just wished that they allowed you to put more than 5 ingredients before they charge you per ingredient (or chopping, as they call them). But, it's definitely a good option for a salad.

Nice central location but there isn't a lot of parking if they are busy. I wanted a to-go salad and they had plenty of people working the counter so the order went by quickly. I like the custom salads offered so I ordered many toppings. Once I got home I enjoyed my yummy fresh salad but noticed a topping was missing. Bummer. I think I like the Tucson Mall Choice Greens location better for some reason, but hey it was still a great salad. Lots of indoor seating, and the staff was friendly so they are definitely a four star place.

I ordered a make-your-own salad for $6.99 with spring mix, parmesan, croutons, steak ($3.95), and caesar dressing. I enjoyed the taste of the salad overall but it was a bit overdressed for my liking.. I requested a lightly dressed salad and there was still too much on it so I can only imagine how much dressing they use in a regular salad.. I will probably skip the parmesan next time because it made the salad quite salty.. My only major issue with this place is their prices.. Since when was $6.99 for a salad considered inexpensive? I could buy a whole container of spring mix for $4.99 at the grocery store.. I was most excited for the steak in my salad and for an additional $3.95 I was expecting a nice portion of meat.. Sadly I was disappointed with just a few chopped up pieces of steak.. If I wasn't worried about the price then I would dine here again, but $12 for a salad that is far from fancy is ridiculous..

I really liked this place. The staff was friendly and efficient (even during a busy lunch hour) and the food was excellent. It's a little bit spendy for a quick lunch, but not terrible. Also, it's usually crowded, so good luck finding a parking spot or table once you're there. If you go during a quieter time, the food is definitely worth it.

Great health food option for lunch. Been here a few times...today was a pretty long wait for this place (15 min). I love building my own salad, but kinda pricey bc I like so many things. They also give you huge portions which is fantastic. Would def suggest this place to anyone who eats well!

Green heaven! I do not enjoy the thought of chewing on leaves for a meal but holy toledo does this place make it totally worth it for my taste buds! I love the BBQ Chicken Salad, dressing on the side, romaine instead of iceberg and extra chicken. YUM! I did knock off a star because the last time I went and ordered to go the cashiers were not their typical friendly selves...little disappointing but either way I took my delicious salad and ran home to enjoy.

Went here for the first time a few days ago and I was not very impressed. I got the BBQ chicken panini and my friend got the BLT. Both sandwiches were very small. The taste of the BLT was equivalent to what I could make at home and the BBQ chicken sandwich had disgusting cheese on it. If I go back I will be sure to order a salad!!

This place is awesome in my opinion. I recently traveled to Tucson and stayed at a hotel really close to Speedway Blvd and decided to try this restaurant after seeing so many good reviews. I didn't try to salad customizing option but it looked tempting. i had a BBQ chicken panini with apple slices and homemade pasta salad and it was amazing. Very filling too and a great value. My boyfriend had an avocado panini with broccoli cheddar soup and baked chips and they were awesome as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. I liked how the restaurant was very clean too and the staff members were friendly. The food came really fast for us.

This is probably the only thing that makes me miss Tucson and the University of Arizona. Their salads are good portioned, you get to put whatever you want in it and you stand in line, order and get your food quick! I always have left overs whenever I go! Chopped needs to go to Cali!

Liked the service, tortilla soup, and brownies, but, I think they need to do a better job of disclosing sandwich ingredients; found out after getting food that there was cream cheese on the Thanksgiving-themed "Gobbler" sandwich. WTH? What's the cream cheese/Thanksgiving connection? Not being a cream cheese fan, would have never ordered it in the first place. Probably not a go-back.

Fresh, heaping salads are win. After eating junk food for a few days my body craved a salad. The menu makes ordering a complex salad is simple, and the service is prompt. Naturally, the salad rocked -- it's their specialty and if you can't tell from the parking lot -- they are good at it. The bread was a little dry/hard for my taste, not sure how it would be better served. I had a lemon bar which seemed a little weak on the lemon at first, but the tart lemon flavor developed nicely.

A little pricey, but totally worth it! Every time we're in town, my husband wants to stop here and sometimes goes without me. He loves their barbeque chicken salad, but like to build my own. Just like the other Choice Greens on Campbell, the tea is pretty fruity and gross, but overall this place is good.

Yum. My first experience with Chopped was out of this world, but also kind of a pain as I was on a lunch date with a girl that made me really nervous while eating :) Any-hoo, Chopped offers an extensive selection of fine produce and meats for one delightful salad. Too bad it's so far from my house, they need another!

Parking is difficult. But the atmosphere and food are awesome. I was particularly impressed with their soups and chicken salad. I've had friends going their for a while but never went. I'm now hooked. Good quality food for the prices. A great lunch spot close to the university.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this place. I had the BBQ chicken sandwich and I thought it was really good and fresh. They grill the chicken right there so it is in fact grilled and not boiled, i like that. The workers are not joking around back there, they are bustin some serious ass. It was fun to watch while waiting in line. They have a great system that is fast and that produces good quality food for about the same amount of money you would spend at some crappy applebee's or other nasty restaurant in this town. I will be back!

When I walked into Chopped I was immediately reminded to the wonderful lunch spots I loved so much during my trip to NY, NY last summer. We arrived during the very busy lunch rush on a Tuesday afternoon around 1:00pm. Just as soon as we got the just of CHOPPED we were greeted and preceded to order. To me, there is really NOTHING better than being in complete control of the food that enters my mouth. Chopped does a great job of giving the customer complete control! I was able to customize an absolutely amazing and outrageously healthy salad at a fair price. My salad was GIGANTIC and totally should have been 2 meals but my stomach never ceases to amaze me and I was able to shovel it all down (hey its a salad right...haha). My boyfriend got a delicious looking turkey and bacon sandwich. We both left lunch completely satisfied and I had absolutely NO 'post-eating-out-guilt-syndome!'

If you smell like gasoline and have a hankering for a mighty good salad, I suggest you head on over to Choice Greens on Speedway. In all my years I had never had a problem pumping gas, but of course on the day that I get a yearning for a top notch bowl of greens I can't control the nozzle and I splash gasiline (please note this is not a misspelling, I have chosen to write this one word in vernacular, so if you could read that first "i" with a really strong vowel sound you can really get into the whole scene) everywhere; on my legs and shoes, and then subsequently on my hands, hair, and inner left nostril. Luckily I had one handi-wipe laying around from my most recent rib binge so I quickly used the four inch by four inch square to remove the heavy smell of the gasiline from my porous body. Needless to say it didn't really get the job done, and my desire for that salad had not waned, even in-spite of the heavy fumes. So I took a dare and went in to Choice Greens on Speedway. It is a little pricey for a poor person, so I got the cheapest salad on the menu, a delicious orchard apple. An incredible bed of roughage topped with ingredients (and a very delicious dressing, fat free I believe, raspberry, something incredible) that complimented each other so well that I set my fork down and gave that salad a good stare. The ladies at the counter were very friendly and claimed to have not even noticed the noxious smell of gasiline. I am currently saving up some funds for a panini purchase. I can tell you're good with money, yeah, you are looking good. Ain't no slouch put theyselves together that good. No, I'm serious, it's been a while, but you are looking good. I'm not just saying that, stop it. Take a good hard look in the mirror, that's a double image of beauty right there.

To report on Junior S.'s con, they did switch to soft breads sticks. It's a seasonal thing, wintery is soft and summery is hard. Yum yum yum. Always fresh. Maybe it's just me, but I can't seem to get a salad with lettuce that isn't brown at a restaurant in Tucson. The lettuce is never brown here. They seem to know how to add the perfect amount of any ingredients you ask for, including the perfect amount of dressing. The salads usually come out by the time I walk to my table. Oh, the lemonade is really good here.

Aside from changing my views on salad forever, having delicious peach and mango tea, and adorable staff, your bathrooms always smell like rosemary mint and it makes me extremely happy. My only complaint is that you didn't change your name to "Tossed". That would have been awesome

I really like this place. The salads are really fresh and i love everything all chopped up and mixed in nicely with the dressing. The tofu is pretty tasy and makes a good addition to the salad. I always get a salad bc the sandwiches look pretty small, but the salads are nice and big.

I had a better experience this time around. I stuck with the salad which was too expensive for the small amount of shrimp and the avocado that they charged me extra for. Wife's fresh mozzarella panini looked good but overall the place is a little more gimmick than quality.

  • J. Y.

On the menu, under the "build your own" sandwich option, the ingredient options are listed, and after roast beef it says "(75 cents extra)." No other item choices have such a note. So, I ordered a sandwich with ham and turkey. Lo and behold, when the cashier announced my price, it was way higher than expected - they charged extra because I got two meats. So, the menu is a unclear on that point, but whatever - I wasn't terribly surprised. I changed the order and got the listed price. However, the employee was unpleasant throughout our interaction, giving me a terrible first impression of Chopped. The sandwich was underwhelming. My soup was good. My wife's food was mediocre, and one person in our party barely touched her salad (the only thing she ordered). Note to restaurants: Don't charge extra for things if you don't actually give us more food. Very rarely do you actually get more meat on a ham and turkey sandwich than on just a turkey sandwich. For that extra $1.65 we get a sandwich of identical weight. Are you charging $1.65 because it took the sandwich maker two more seconds to put on the mix of ham and turkey instead of just turkey? Ridiculous.

This is a quick order/sit/wait type of place with salads and sandwiches. I got a "create your own salad" here. It's a pretty good sized salad, and the ingredients were good, but there was barely any chicken in it. They could do a lot better for $6.50. If you get a salad get your dressing on the side. You'd think a place focused on salad could get salad dressing right but if you don't get it on the side you'll have a salad floating in a bowl of dressing. Wait until you see the amount of dressing you get. It's just stupid. $6.50 is too much for the salad, but hey, I think I'm the one who made profit on this whole dressing deal. They will bring you so much dressing it takes barrels and fork lifts to deliver it to your table.

  • Junior S.

Good salad and good portions. Here's my choice: romaine lettuce w/ fat-free caesar, chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, croutons, bacon, pumpkin seeds, and black olives. Cons: It's a little pricey for salad and they should switch to soft breadsticks.

Great idea, not so great food. We tried a salad and a sandwich. First to the salad. Not that many toppings in the salad. We ordered hearts of palm and we only got 1 small piece! Lots of lettuce though and wonderful presentation. Now for the chicken salad sandwich. There was so little meat that half the sandwich was bread. Chicken salad in the sandwich wasn't that tasty. For a place that specializes in salad and sandwiches, they are just ok.

I hate salads, but I would eat the salads that are made from Chopped! You must go to the Chopped on River & Campbell because they give bigger portions than the one on Speedway & Tucson. It's a bit on the expensive side for salad but it's nice because you can customize your own salad with whatever toppings (up to five, any addt'l toppings after that isan extra 50 cents). You can even pick your own greens -- iceberg, romaine, spinach, etc. There are well over 30 different toppings to choose from. If you add protein (chicken, ham, shrimp, turkey, etc) on your salad there's an extra charge ($1.50-$2.00), so you can easily get your salad to being close to $10.They have salads that are customized for you already but it's always nice to pick what you want on there. Get the breadstick and treat it like a crouton (this is a must) because it's hard as hell, but it goes well with the salad. You can't go wrong with having dressing on the side because the salads are big enough for two meals so if you don't finish it, you can save the salad and not worry about your leaves turning into mush later on.

When you've got to have a killer salad, Choice Greens is the place to go. While they do offer other menu items, it's their salads that make this place extra special. There are a variety of greens to choose from, dozens of toppings, various proteins, and unique dressing selections that collectively please even the pickiest eaters. The only drawback, and the reason Choice Greens didn't get 5 stars from me is that the cashiers invariably mix up something small on my order. Today, for example, I ended up with the wrong bread (matched my printed receipt, but it's not what I check marked on my order slip).

  • Teresa S.

I tend to reserve a five-star review until a few visits to ensure consistency in service and quality, and Choice Greens is fully deserving! Full disclosure: we've only had the salads here, and the $6.75 deal of make-your-own is a steal! A pile of fresh greens (combos welcomed) topped with ingredients you can sample prior to purchase - wha? Additional moolah for prime ingredients, and yes, I'm an avowed food brat and love the goat cheese option. And I know soda is the devil incarnate, but the combinations offered seduce me into submission. I digress, what else is new. The service. Friendly and warm, and accommodating of my 20 questions...with a smile. The 2-for-$16 bucks deal from 5-8 offers student-friendly pricing with proteins in one's salad to boot. Now, if only the mac-and-cheese would stop taunting me...

I originally rated Choice Greens one star after I got a carry-out salad there, only to find they had left the dressing out entirely, leaving me without a dinner. At the time, I also noticed the lettuce was not very fresh, but was only able to rate based on the wasted $10 and lack of dressing. The co-owner sent me a message apologizing, saying they have systems in place to ensure accuracy, but admitting they failed. He said he believed I would have loved the salad, if only it had been made correctly. Well, I was in the area 2 months later and decided to stop in for dinner. This time, I ate in the restaurant so there was no chance of mistake. I ordered the same item I had been so eager to try the first time: the Southwest Chicken Salad. They were busy, but fully staffed and there was no line to order. My salad arrived in less than five minutes, and the portion was very large. Here's what I thought about the Southwest Chicken Salad now that I actually got to eat one: it's not good. I'd go so far as to say it's bad. I thought it looked like it had too much dressing, but it had so little flavor that this wasn't really an issue. As before, the lettuce wasn't very fresh. The chicken was dry and completely tasteless. Actually, the only thing that had any flavor in the salad were the salty black olives and the chunks of cheese. It cost me more than $10, so I kept eating thinking the taste would grow on me. But less than a third of the way into the salad, I put my fork down, got up, and left. The salad was just not good, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth (literally, and also figuratively). At $10, this place is wildly overpriced. The portions are gigantic, and if any of their salads are actually good, they'd be a better deal at a more reasonable portion and price. But tasteless dry chicken and day-old lettuce are inexcusable. If this were my first visit, I'd have given more stars for cleanliness and speed of service. But a bad salad combined with the first visit merits just one star. In the end, it felt like a better option to leave the salad and go pay for a second meal elsewhere.

I love ordering salads from here. The online ordering option makes it quick and easy to just pick up a salad on your way to anywhere. The food can be a little more expensive compared to other take out places around Tucson, but the toppings are always fresh and you can beat the wide variety of options. The only real negative is the dinning area is pretty small and it can be impossible to find a place to sit during peak hours.

Best place in Tucson for soups/salads/paninis! One of my coworkers introduced me to this place a few months ago and I've been back many times since then. Their order online option is excellent. We order multiple meals and they are always ready to go right when the restaurant opens at 11 am and everything is always correctly made in our order. As far as the food goes: The salad ingredients are fresh and delicious, but my personal favorite item on the menu is the bbq chicken panini. The chicken is amazing and the panini is huge! It's the type of meal where you're not sure you can eat the whole thing when it's brought to your table, but you end up eating the whole thing anyway because it tastes so good. I've brought multiple people to eat at Choice Greens and have yet to have someone dislike it. I'm sad to be leaving Tucson and unable to visit this location anymore. They need to open a store in Phoenix! Yum!

I don't like to leave a poor review for a restaurant that everyone else seems to love, but I really don't get the Choice Greens hype. I work near a Choice Greens so I've had their food quite a bit. The first word I would use to describe it is "bland". The flavor is kind of like when you have a cold and can't really taste anything. For salad's I've had their caesar and southwest chicken. The tortilla strips on the southwest had a very odd taste to them that overpowered the salad. Kind of like old fried food. The caesar seemed to have quite a lot of dressing. Just meh. Don't make the mistake of ordering a panini. I got the caprese and definitely regretted it. Dripping with oil all over the plate, your hands, your face, etc. Cheese and tomatos falling out everywhere. No flavor. The mac and cheese is good but very, very rich. I can eat about half of it and then I start feeling a bit ill. I like the tomato soup. No complaints about that. If I have to go to Choice Greens for some reason, that's what I get. Creamy, good flavor, adequate but not overwhelming portion sizing. My last comment is that they don't have coffee. For a place that caters primarily to the lunch crowd, it makes me sad that I can't get a cup of joe here. I also think it's kind of weird. I mean, who doesn't serve coffee?

The best salad in the world they have a great summer deal dinner for for only $16. My mom and I came to dinner And we both got salads with romaine avocado, feta, and kidney beans and feta. Everything is so fresh and they also have a tomatoe basil soup delicious and they serve you your soup in a kettle. Great customer service if your looking for a nice comfy place to eat a salad this is the place

Great place for lunch if you want fast and healthy food. I'm also a stickler for free water, so it was nice to see that they have decent sized water cups as opposed to the tiny ones that similar places offer. The staff was very friendly too. My only pet peeve here is that you're expected to tip at the cash register when you arrive. This always irks me because I feel like I'm rating their service before experiencing it. Even though the service turned out to be great, this seems backwards to me.

The whole family - adults, teens, kids, all like it. We have tried almost everything and it all is great, from salads, sandwiches, pizza, mac, and even the soups. great food, friendly service, nice simple atmosphere, good people. This, and their other place (Graze) have earned the spot as our go to place. Keep up the great work!

This is my go-to Paleo lunch stop!!! It's the only place where I can dictate what's in my salad and know it's totally Paleo and fits in my diet. I LOVE that!!! The custom salad is my usual and I change it up all the time. The meat is always good. I usually get the grilled chicken but today I tried the shrimp and it was great too.

I have never dined in at this place, I always get food to go and have tried many things and have not been disappointed. The salads are delicious, soups and sandwiches too. The staff is extremely friendly and they are quick too. I rated this 4 stars because I think their menu is overpriced. $12 for a takeout salad is just way too overpriced for my taste.

Make your own salad. What's not to like? You should definitely stop in here if you are in Tucson for any reason. Delicious and great service!

Choice Greens has a great menu and I was very excited that I could order my food online and pick it up within 15minutes of ordering. I opted for a custom salad and was very happy with the selection of things that could be added to my salad and the price point. Pick up was quick and smooth, the staff was friendly and got me in and out quickly. The salad was great and I will be back again soon!

Went there today for the first time. Though the storefront is rather plain the food was really good. Had the BBQ Ranch Chopped Salad, it was quite tasty! Then you have to try one of their GIANT chocolate chip cookies for dessert! Would definitely go back!

So me and the roomie was leaving church and decided we were hungry. Saw this place and made a U turn. It's very clean inside and the decor is surprisingly serene. The employees were very nice and even explained how everything worked. I ordered a avocado club panini, BBQ chips and a side soup of chicken noodle. YUM! YUM! If you aren't into that healthy eating lifestyle (I eat healthy from time to time) then it might not for you. My roomie loved it as well. They embraced us and all our curly black power fro with love and smiles. Definitely recommend for a peaceful chill dining experience!

Perfect lunch place! Food: consistently a great salad with fresh ingredients. Expensive, but worth it in my opinion. Best $9 salad you can eat. Atmosphere: always busy, always full of business men and women.

Seriously. You were better when you were Chopped! Just went last week and the chicken salad was SOOOOOOO dry that I had to drench it with my ranch dressing. Did. Not. Like. Also got a small corn chowder...boy was it ever small. Came in a cute little pot thingy, but it wasn't even half full. And of course, prices have increased. So bottom line is, compared to the old Chopped days, you don't make the cut. Ha.

Plus that you get to build your salad the way you want. A bit on the pricey side though.

This place is pretty good. The ingredients are pretty fresh, but it is a little overpriced for my liking. There's nothing that really stands out about this salad place that makes me want to pay $10 for a salad that I can easily make at home. Be careful with add-ons, that's how they can become so pricey. With that being said, I can go here for lunch with friends but I can't imagine ever going outside of a social aspect.

I have never had a bad salad here... But that partly because everyone gets to custom design their own, with out the pesky sneeze guard. Professionals take and prepare the ingredients of your choosing into a most delicious concoction. Love that bread is a choice, as I dont care for it. Also so many dressings and you can easily get them on the side. But here is my big secret... sometimes I choose greens , veggies, and protein sans dressing, which I take home and steam fry! Something for everyone!

Choice Greens used to be know as Chopped. The food is decent but on the pricey side, $9 for a salad, I get that it is a chopped salad but at the end of the day it is still lettuce. They also have sandwiches, the meet choices are a bit lacking they used to have roast beef not sure when they got rid of that. Overall the food is good and the staff is friendly but they are just to many other options that I could spend my hard earned dollar on.

i like this place, although i believe their salad dressings are horrible if you are watching your fat, sodium and sugar intake. Would give 5 stars if they offered healthier dressings.

Love the salads here! So quick and the best is that they are chopped up so well it mixes everything together and you don't have to use a knife - bonus! Takeout is wonderful as well. The choices of toppings are great - I have a different salad each time I come in and they are all great. My son had a sandwich once (looked a bit dry - he is unfortunately not a fan and gives a grimace when I suggest it for lunch. He does not like a lot of things in his salad so the process of picking fun ingredients is lost on him. I think I could go there every week - great customer service as well.
