Just moved to Tucson but after 2 bad customer service experiences here not to mention the excessively long lines I doubt I will be coming back to this location... Staff just isn't friendly and at the prices chipotle charges great customer service is a must!!!

I love, love Chipotle!!!! Everyone is consistent the food so fresh and yummy! Yes, the peeps who serve you are inconsistent. Take today for example, I ordered my usual salad with chicken, salsa, veggies, black beans, sour cream and guacamole. But, today the ratio of sour cream and guacamole were two fold and way too much! Luckily my husband used the excessive guacamole for his quesadilla, but, geez too much fvavgood thing is too much! Next time I have learned to reign it in.

Although it is almost always very busy, the employees push people through very quickly and efficiently! Even though it is quick, they make each experience feel personal and really take time to get your otherwise at-par Chipotle food. This Chipotle is worth going to over any others because of the people who work there.

The ingredients are good, great lime cilantro rice, but no one seems to know how to fill or roll a burrito that doesn't fall apart! This is because they put enough meat, but too much rice and beans, enough rice and beans for two burritos worth, which prevents allowing for enough of the other ingredients, and also prevents them from being able to roll an appropriate sized burrito that will stay together and allow a person to pick the burrito up and eat it without it falling apart. We ordered a children's chicken quesadilla meal, and were given a hard crusted overdone cheese quesadilla with only cheese residue and no actual cheese inside the quesadilla. Not to mention it was too tough for our 2yr old son to eat, despite having a full mouth of teeth. once there was a piece of foil wrapped up inside my burrito ....not the wrapper, but an actual piece of foil! (which i think they use to cover the hot ingredients they let sit out in the pans in their serving bar). no matter how good the ingredients are, it matters how well the employees pay attention and prepare the order correctly.

Chipotle. Chipotle. What can I say. You are just OK. =) Really really. It's definitely not authentic Mexican food. It is good. I've had the carnitas and the steak burritos, both were dry. However, the last time I went, the barbacoa is the way to go! The marinated slow cooked beef is sooooo soft and moist! Along with the corn salsa, lime cilantro white rice, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole (extra charge), it makes a pretty good concoction. The good thing about it, the burritos are chubby. They are short and chubby. Note: I haven't tried the bowl or salad, but I hear if you get them, you can get a lot more for your money!

The few times I've frequented this location, I've received much larger portions of rice, beans, and meat than I do at my regular location. I guess different management imposes different portion guidelines. Always quick, always tasty. PS - Drop your business card by the register!! It pays off! I would know ;)

I've always been very fond of chipotle, when they first came into town they used to give you the biggest burritos ever they were so over stuff but it seems like as a company. I think they might've realized by doing so they were losing money what I really like about them is that they use very fresh ingredients The vegetables the lettuce even all the sides that how they make their salsa and guacamole. I really enjoyed the burrito bowls, Time to time I will also get a burrito, The chicken, steak are my favorite but I've also tried the pork which is also very tasty. no need to fret if you don't eat meat they have a veggie bowl & now they are also even offering a tofu meat substitution. I was over all please I only wish that you didn't have to pay almost 2 dollars for a tiny bit of guacamole, and that it was very delicious and I'm pleased with going, I will definitely be back soon.

Very tasty! I have gone to another Chipotle and it surprisingly tasted differently. I had the steak bowl and it was great! I took my 1 yr old and 4yr old here for the first time. The chicken was tasty to me but a little spicy for them. They enjoyed the rice and chips. The kids taco meal comes with choice of a protein, two sides, tortillas, drink and chips. Quite a bit of food for my toddlers but enough to choose from and nibble on. We will come again.

I had never been to a Chipotle in CA since the closest one was 15 miles away. Since there is one in the area I moved to, I figured why not. The line was super long, but I got through to the front pretty quickly. I ordered a carnitas burrito with no beans. I felt like it was mostly rice, but what meat was in there was pretty tasty. I also think $2.00 for guacamole is excessive, but I suppose you pay for convenience. I don't know that I would be a regular, but once in awhile would be ok.

This Chipotle location is one of my least favorites. So much that I'll drive the extra miles to the Grant location. Still when I'm too tired to drive I will eat here. My first complaint here is that the chicken can often be undercooked. I've had this happen quite a few times. They are getting better at it as it hasn't happened last two times I was there. Second is the fact that they don't seem to be able to keep up with how busy the place gets, which leads to them not being as clean as other locations, their drink area is always (or at least every time I'm there) out of iced tea, their portions are the skimpiest of any other chipotle. My biggest issue with this place is the service. Last weekend I was there and the cashier was so clueless, she would walk away from the register in a daze, looking around the dining room, while customers were waiting to pay. She wasn't very friendly. Worst part is the fact that there many people in the back area of the restaurant, one of them that looked like a manger of sorts, were just chatting away. Still some things have improved, as none of these things mentioned above, except for the iced tea being out, was a factor in last night's visit. That's why they get 2 stars, and if in the future, it gets better, I'll be glad to add a couple of stars.

I cannot get enough of this place. I usually get the Barbacoa burrito with almost everything on it, because I'm crazy like that. But the last time I was here I got a bowl for the first time. I liked it. I felt like I was able to get more for what I paid for. I was able to mix my food very well and get the flavors I wanted. But its still not the same without the tortilla. Either way, loved it!

I understand if an establishment would like to try out what they are serving but when you shove chips in your mouth and then touch somebody's food and then wipe your hands on your rear it is probably not up to health code. Flies are all around the food and when I brought it up to Nicholas Martinez's attention he seemed bothered I brought it up rather than his employee violating health code. Sorry chipotle but I have to rethink my dining experience...

The service here was very poor as well as the food. Very disappointing, there customer service was so substandard. I will ensure my family never visits this establishment again. Chipotle you lost what was once a loyal customer.

Been to a few places in town and this is the best one so far. The staff are super friendly and the chicken here was perfectly cooked. I always have the chicken salad with extra corn.

None of the employees paid attention to what I asked for so I had to repeat myself just to get my order right Even when we checked out, the cashier didn't even look sty us when handed us the card back so we didn't know if we were waiting for a receipt. Either way wet didn't get one and they just cried in their own conversations add we walked to our seat The steak was probably made incorrectly because it has absolutely zero seasoning and this is hands down THE worst Chipotle in operation I have ever been to.

Went to Chipotle on Broadway as I usually do MOST Thursday evenings on my way to class ay University of Phoenix in order to pick up dinner for the evening. Just before ordering, I realized that in my rush to leave home, I forgot my wallet. I called my wife & asked her to call them & see if she could pay for my meal over the phone with debit card. The caterer "Rosie" told my wife she see's me every week, so they would "comp" my meal. I was reluctant, but Rosie insisted they they cover my meal for tonight. She was so professional, sweet, and understanding regarding my predicament. I was touched. Now THAT is good customer service. The staff of this location are consistently professional and courteous. The quality of food never disappointing. The facility itself always clean. I highly recommend this location. #LoyaltyCounts

we don't have chipotle in hawaii. it's a sad, sad, unfortunate thing. when i'm on vacation on the mainland, i really enjoy stopping here for lunch or dinner at least once! this particular chipotle is always clean, and their staff is always friendly. the only disappointing thing about this particular visit was that they were out of carnitas!! it's my absolute favorite and i was super bummed i wasn't able to get any. apparently, the pig farmers weren't being humane to the animals and that is why they are currently out of carnitas. poor little oinkers. anywho, i got the chicken instead. it was yummy, but a little spicier than i'd like.

My husband and I had dinner here tonight because his parents gave us a gift for his birthday. I do have to say we eat out often. We haven eaten here a few times, but not as often as something just as fast like subway. So, first I want to say this they have a secrete menu which is totally awesome. Tonight, I ordered off the menu they meted the cheese in the back and they brought it back out and I got half steak and chicken yes you can have both and only be charged for the one. Then I added everything which you get to add extra cheese at no charge if you would like on top of what was melted earlier. Finally, I topped it off with a secrete ingredient cilantro. They always make the burros massive they also ask if you want chips and a drink. Well, I took the drink and notice that 98% of cup is recycled and all meat is organic. The burro was great. the setting isn't very comfy its all wood or metal tops. The restaurant is pretty loud.. I will without a doubt be back

So I freakin love chipotle. I come at least every week with my wife(don't check in though). The food tastes so good and fresh I love it. However, I can only give 4 stars as the quantity of meat and avocado servings is getting lower and lower while the prices stay the same. What a bummer. That's what people love about chipotle. Great, fresh food at a decent price. But slowly I feel they are skipping out on that reputation. Also the typically nice customer service is slowly becoming "ok but I can only give you a little bit" or "I'll have to charge you..." I don't ask for handouts but what I always used to. C'mon chipotle get back to what you were.

I eat at this location at least twice a week and I have only ever had one bad experience. I found a hair in my food and quickly told them about it. They went ahead and fixed my meal and apologized for the bad experience. They even gave me a certificate for a free meal. Sometimes accidents happen! This location becomes packed and a large line forms during the usual lunch hours. Pro Tip: Order on their iPhone app and you can skip the line when you arrive. Just be sure to order at least 15 mins ahead of time.

Oh White-ified Mexican food, how I love thee! I have yet to have a problem with this Chipotle that I haven't already encountered at other places. They make exactly what I ask and I don't ever feel like they're skimping out (and trust me, I'm a Chipotle addict). I always order the barbacoa fajita burrito, no beans with everything except the lettuce. I've only ever been to one Chipotle location that was able to get everything into the burrito WITHOUT skimping AND roll it properly without any problems so I wasn't surprised or upset when they busted the wrapper (can you tell I'm used to it by now?). They always have lemons on hand too! I was only annoyed this one time when I had ordered online and dropped by to pick it up before going to work and the cashier decided she had to attend to something first before checking me out, taking her about 5 minutes before she got back to me. I'm just rating the food though and I haven't had any service issues afterwards so I won't dock anything for that. :)

What is it about Chipotle that I like so much? I always order the same thing . . . a steak burrito with corn salsa, sour cream and cheese and an Izze soda. Yum. Is it the tasty marinated steak? Is it the yummy lime & cilantro white rice? Is it the spicy corn salsa? Is it the fact that this is a giant burrito that I know I won't be able to finish? Is it knowing that this is a fast food place but doesn't taste like fast food? I think it's definitely the sum of all these. It all just tastes so . . . . fresh. Like real food but from a fast food place. Order from their iPhone app to just walk in to pick up your order. Also, look into their website. I remember there was something going around about Chipotle taking your spam email. Ok, here it is . . . forward your junk email to nojunk@chipotlejunk.com When they reach 500,000 emails, they'll donate $50,000 to The Lunch Box (healthy school lunches). Pretty cool.

I have to eat here once a week! Gluten free and paleo diet friendly...my favorite quick place to eat. If they could just reduce the price on the guacamole I would like it a little more.

This location is very convienent cause it is close to where I live and the staff is very friendly. I suggest that you get a bowl as some of the employees are a little sloppy with the burrito wrapping. The guacamole is always fresh and I have never had a bad food experience here. When it gets packed at peak hours the line can move really slow. Otherwise my favorite place to go.

I really liked this place and the food. For a chain restaurant, it was very good. The place was clean, the service was fast, the people serving were fun and I like the options available. I hadn't eaten at Chipotle in a long time so I couldn't remember why I had forgotten about them. My veggie burrito was fantastic so I shall return.

I frequent Chipotle on a nearly daily basis. Upon my visit to this Chipotle last night I was astonished at how poor the quality and quantity of food was. Chicken was chewy, they also only gave me half a scoop. Seems like they were trying to avoid having to cook more since it was an hour from closing. Won't be returning to this location.

This Chipotle location is located right in front of the Park Place Mall and gets SUPER busy during weekday lunch hours. The parking lot isn't all that convenient. There aren't too many spots open directly in front of the restaurant (especially since three other food spots are sharing the same strip of parking lot in the front), though there is a larger parking lot behind the restaurant that you can park at if you don't mind entering from the rear entrance and making your way to the front of the restaurant (which can definitely be a hassle if the line is already extending outside the door). I think that the service is definitely what sets this particular location apart from other Chipotle locations. The workers are friendly and sociable - despite this being the second busiest Chipotle restaurant in Arizona. As for the food, it's just about as good as any other Chipotle restaurant.

For a healthy fast food choice this is a pretty good option and I don't mean the 1000 calorie plus burritos. I am talking about the salad with grilled chicken. The dressing that the salad comes with has a very unique flavor. It tastes like a balsamic vinaigrette with a Mexican flare. I can only handle Chipotle once in a blue moon but when I go there I do enjoy my meal.

  • Tricia F.

This location is always just packed! The line goes by pretty quickly and its pretty much the same as any other Chipotle, however I think that because it is so busy, a lot of attention to detail is skipped. On more than one occasion, this location has forgotten portions of my order- so double check your bag for your chips and salsa!

This is a great place to stop have have a burrito or bowl of Tex-Mex yumminess. I love their burrito bowls and the fact that I can put in the burrito what I want and do not have to worry about things I do not want. The down side is it is not in the mall, but just outside the mall. The staff is great and they always do a very good job. I love the guacamole, I just wish it did not cost extra. I still get it because it tastes so good.

  • Ray C.

Chipotle made me addict for their super delicious chicken salad with corn! Oh heavenly! At this time of my visit, the tables and floor were DIRTY and it did not seem that they have enough crew members to clean them up. It was so nasty! That was the worse I've have seen but it did not happen like this often because they do always keep the restaurant cleaned.

    (5)
  • Laura M.

First off, let me start by saying that I'm a Chipotle addict. Now that THAT is out in the open, I'll try and give an unbiased review of this location in particular. It's location near the mall makes it really hard to find parking sometimes, and they definitely skimp more on the rice & meat than any other location I've been to before. But in all honesty....when a burrito is over 1000+ calories ANYWAYS do any of us need that extra filling? I usually go for the Burrito Bol, I like to snap the lid on it and shake it all up so its perfectly blended. Yum. I do wish this Chipotle offered military discounts like the ones in California do.

Who doesn't like Chipotle???!!! Seriously, it's a gift to human kind. It's the first place that comes to my mind at lunch time. And this Chipotle doesn't disappoint either. It's the same great food, healthy choices, organic meat and vegetables. Employees are always friendly, place is clean and location is great. I need to eat here at least once a week!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
