Blargh. I try to stay away from chick-fil-a on principal, however sometimes the urge just moves you. I wish it handn't because i was stuck in a drive through line two weeks ago for 20 minutes. TWO ZERO. No apologies or anything when I got to the window. Now I remember why I stay away.

The Chick-fil-A on E. Broadway is definitely among my favorite fast-food restaurants in Tucson. What makes this franchise location top my list is the superbly friendly customer service, the food quality/taste, and above all cleanliness of the interior and exterior areas (especially the bathrooms). All of those elements combined speaks volumes about how much the franchise cares about its appeal and customer-retention. I love the pleasant music the restaurant has playing in the lobby, and the charming little vases of flowers on each table give an inviting touch. Service is always quick and food top-notch. We always pick this location to visit when we're craving waffle-fries and chicken sandwiches.

Really good chicken, however portions are not that big. Their "large" portion is just enough to feed a baby turtle, however the chicken and fries were pretty tasty. Give it a try if you like chicken.

during my school day i have a quick 30 minute lunch break. my friend really wanted chick-fil-a and i've never had the opportunity to try it. i got an 8 piece chicken nugget meal which was kind of pricey for the size of the actual chicken nuggets. however, the nuggets were cooked like they are homemade, not mass produced. the taste was great! a little to my disappointment, they didn't have mashed potatoes (yes, i'm used to KFC). but their waffle fries were still pretty tasty. like previous reviews, speed of service and service itself was fast and friendly. the manager even took a couple minutes out of his busy time to ask us how everything was, which i thought was a nice touch.

Chick-fil-A is one of the best chain restaurants that I absolute am in love with! Not only is the customer service training of the staff above par, the restaurants are cleans!!! Facebook and Twitter usually offers amazing deals and discounts!!! I used the free grilled chicken nuggets on this visit. They were pretty good and I wouldn't have went in there that day if I hadn't of seen the offer. Thumbs up Chick-fil-A for bring in my business! Love it!

Breakfast here is a bad idea. The burrito was tiny for the price. Had a nasty oniony chili sauce....ecch! The coffee tasted like it was brewed from the underwear of a bum. Orange juice was not an option for my "meal deal" I refuse to ever go there for breakfast again Giving 3 stars because I like their lunch menu.

We ended up here at lunch today for two reasons: A food drive, apparently a regular event, and a desire to support Chick-fil-A in what we feel is an unwarranted attack on the CEO's right to express his opinion in the public square. This is the first time we have eaten at Chick-fil-A and had to drive clear across town to do so. The chicken sandwich was simple but quite tasty for fast food; the waffle cut fries were good and different. The service was great . The employee waiting on us was helpful and friendly. We came as a political statement ; however, we will be back as loyal customers. Join us on 8/1 for Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day!

My wife and daughters love this place, for me I think it is just OK. I will say they have some of the best commercials. This particular location is clean and well kept. The food is OK and the service is pretty good.

I was surprised to see other negative reviews, as I love Chick-Fil-A more than I can say. This is my most frequented location, and other than a few times when they were absolutely slammed at lunch and couldn't keep up with bussing the tables, I've never had a poor experience here. I think they have the best chicken sandwich around, and their employees are amazingly polite. There was one time when I had to wait an extra long time to get my order, and they gave me a coupon for a free sandwich on my next visit. Before I moved last month, My girlfriends and I would meet here on the first Friday of every month for a catching-up dinner (and usually would sneak in a few lunches during the month!) , and we never had a reason to consider going anywhere else! I miss my monthly chicken sandwiches already.

My first experience at this fast food place and I was very impressed! My spicy chicken wrap was excellent. The roasted barbecue sauce was so-o good. We also had the diet lemonade which had pulp in it and was wonderful. I'll be back!!

The only reason this location didn't get one star is because the food was still good. Otherwise, as far as Chick fil a goes, this location was a big disappointment. I have come to love Chick fil a is because the service is excellent and the restaurants are immaculately clean and well cared for, no matter what time of day or how busy. This was not the case at Chick fil a El Con. We kept swatting away flies and had to move from our original table choice because the rotting flower arrangement was drawing bugs. It was hard to choose a table alternative because most were other covered in wrappers or greasy fingerprints. I might expect this from a lesser fast food establishment, but then again, that's why I rarely eat any other fast food. There were food crumbs all over the condiment bar, and all the doors were covered in greasy handprints. The ladies behind the counter pleasantly provided good service, but the dining room attendant (if you could call him that) overlooked trash on the tables, and it was easy to tell why the tables were still dirty when we saw him barely swipe a dirty rag over the corner of a table without even looking down or stopping. He looked like that was his version of hell. Again, this is so disappointing because the Chick fil a's I usually frequent have had some of the sweetest and most accommodating employees ever. I think unfortunately this place is a chink in their armor. I hope they can improve!

I absolutely love this place. It's clean, the waitstaff is always friendly, and the other patrons always seem to be more polite than the burger place across the parking lot, as well. The sandwiches are made from real chicken breast, so you won't have the McD's experience of wondering what part of the chicken the perfectly re-formed nugget comes from. Granted, having the breaded and fried chicken sandwich isn't the healthiest option... So swap out the fries for fruit or a salad, or get the grilled chicken club. And I'll admit to be being biased to any place that serves Coke Zero. The shakes are tasty, but a but much, so I wouldn't recommend 'em. And I love all the charitable foundations the Cathey family has established and puts their effort toward as a result of Chik-Fil-A's financial success. I can't bring myself to get fast food anywhere else- this place has ruined me and I love it.

Fresh for being fast food. Very friendly service, they bring your food to your table, and everything was very clean.

Love Chick-fil-A, this one had a huge dining room, which made it less crowded than some others. Food was good, employees were friendly, they kept coming by asking if we needed refills on our drinks. I had Spicy chicken and fries, my wife had a club salad.

Very friendly service, and a nice big location to accommodate the large volume of customers. This location delivered fresh chicken sandwiches quick! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely pass by to grab a bite to eat!

  • Tiffany S.

You definitely can't go wrong with the chicken sandwich and waffle fries, they have some of the best shakes that I've ever found that a fast food restaurant made with real ice cream, now if you're looking for something a little healthier they do you have some low-calorie emails as well as salads and I'm really loving the new boneless & skinless chicken nuggets, surprising they are full of flavor but even if they weren't there is an amazing selection of dipping sauces for you to choose from. It's a great place to bring the kids as they have a little small playground although I can get a little stuffy in the play area, this location in particular usually has mostly giveaways, typically it's in the morning from 6 to 10 and they put out the calendar so that you're aware of the dates and what's going to be free on that day, always friendly faces Will and ready to take your order, oh thing I dislike is them being closed on Sundays.

Best chicken sando. Get the spicy with pickles and coleslaw because you deserve it! Lemonade on hit buy too much ice. Don't get waffle fries as they customarily serve them over cooked and chewy. But that spicy chicken sando and coleslaw will make you wanna slap yo mama!

  • Natasha C.

Okay best chicken nuggets hands down! The staff is always super friendly and helpful! They accept digital coupons and never give you hard time about them. Food always cooked right - no complaints there! FYI - the drive thru gets ridiculously long and you could be waiting for a bit!

I used to frequent here in the east side when spending my summers there growing up. It's been many years since I've had chick fil a, and was excited to finally have a chance to grab a bite. We ordered a kids meal, grilled sandwich meal, 12 pc nuggets meal, and a chick fil a sandwich. I was sadly disappointed! Food was not foot at all! Everything was greesy and soggy. Would have returned it but we were heading back to Vegas and got the order to go. We were all so hungry we ate it even though it sucked. The best thing was the sauce. Not how I remember this place :(

Woah. I've been eating CFA since before they left the mall and have always been satisfied. Til this time. It's Saturday night, at about 5:30. The lobby had maybe a dozen customers seated and two were in line. In other words, not busy. Three registers were open, so order time was quick. It took about three minutes to get my food, which is pretty average, but here's where things went south. The fries were only slightly warmer than room temperature and the sandwich was only slightly warmer than that. The fry station had several orders of fries ready, even with the slow customer flow. Walking to my table, I noticed several were rather dirty. Had they been really busy, I'd excuse that, but, again, they weren't. I took a leisurely twenty minutes to eat, and that's how long it took someone to come out to the dining room and clean. This won't scare me off from my favorite chicken sandwich place, but I may just drive to a different one.

This is my chikfila review haiku style Chicken yummy bits, Awesome tasty waffle fries, Damn kids ruin lunch. I love the nuggets and sandwiches but the fries wow I dont share those with the special lady friend, They are mine! Get your own! They have coke zero on tap which gets you an automatic extra star. I love the chickfila sauce, and you can ask for the most weird amounts and types of sauces without any hesitation comments or demands of extra money. I will put on my grinch hat for a min. Seriously I could not care less about you winshape camp or your winshape marriage or the history of your company. I also hate the all the kids running around the place, great I am glad you have a family and you have found a place where you can get lil bits of chicken that they will actually eat but control you lil monsters and dont let them run around as mad as chimps at the zoo. I will agree with steve f.'s review If the head manager guy (not the assistant managers they are good) is taking your order, he will mess it up as he doesnt care. Just go to one of the kids they actually care about getting your order correct.

Yuck. Tiggers don't like chick-fil-a. Yucky grease taste, pushy patrons. I did not enjoy my trip there this time. Maybe its the season of shopping. I just wanted to fulfill my daughters request for a playground restaurant. Won't be going back anytime soon...or ever. To the young fellow delivering the orders to tables: you get the third star. Good work. Efficient and smiled. Bravo.

I love chick fil a. I don't have any complaints about the food. This chick fil a in particular is very slow, especially in the drive thru. I also once found a hair in my spicy chicken sandwich :/, not cool.

I don't know what the rage is about Chick-fil-A, maybe it's me, I just don't get it. Don't get me wrong, I like my chicken, but this is just blah. Is it a better choice than a burger? Absolutely! But there's no real flavor to it... We got the grilled chicken sandwiches & the kids meal chicken nuggets. My husband liked it. Definitely better chicken than McDonald's and Subway!! But not better than Arby's chicken pecan salad sandwich!

Chick Fil A is one of our family's favorites! Do you like milkshakes? Well, I highly recommend their shakes! I love their Cookies N' Cream Milkshakes! They're delicious and not too sweet! Their sandwiches are good as well. Not too greasy. Their kids meals are a little on the small portion but that's OK. Customer service is fast and friendly! However, this location had a really filthy play area. There was snot and food on the floor. Plus, it smelled like feet :( Verdict: I'll definitely be back for the food/customer service. I'll take my kids elsewhere to play though :)

Best fast food service in Tucson. My debit card wasn't going through due to a bank error. And instead of waiting or making me get back in line my cashier comped the meal! I was truly astounded and grateful! And the chicken being awesome is just icing

Delicious food when I came here I was visting from California and we have a chick fil a too, but we have a Monday deal by a milkshake and get a free 8 count nugget. It was a Monday and they didn't have that deal shouldn't all the chick fil a be the same deal and cost wise

This location is constantly packed and incredibly busy. Don't expect the lines to be short, the drive thru is even worse. Still the service is pleasant and the food is delicious. I always feel the sandwiches are small and I can't get enough of the waffle fries.

Very disappointed with the service and food I received. In no hurry to return. In other locations this has always been my favorite place to go for a quick lunch. This location has changed my view.

best tasting chicken sandwich and it's always hot when you get it. The service is excellent and the place is always packed. They also have a lot of happenings for kids and grown ups that you can enjoy in this establishment.

I moved from Tucson to Las Vegas a few years ago, and one of the things I really miss is Chick-fil-A (we don't have them in Vegas). For a fast food chain, it's tough to beat for quality and service. I love the waffle cut fries with Polynesian sauce. And I love the sweet tea. Their basic chicken sandwiches aren't too shabby either. What makes this Chik-fil-A stand out for me is the super friendly staff. No blank stares, eyerolls or exasperated sighs here, the employees are friendly and helpful, and they seem to actually enjoy their job. Chick-Fil-a, please come to Vegas!!??!!

Another yelper recommended I go here and try the chicken strips. My husband decided to get an order of strips as well so he stopped by for us to order carry out and bring it home. The price for one order of four small strips was $4.59. We requested for ranch and BBQ sauce and also had a medium coffee. The coffee was $1.65. When we sat down at home and opened both of our small boxes we and found there were no sauces accompanying our strips. That's a bummer. I tried the coffee and wow....it was really strong! So powerful it would have knocked me out of my socks had I not had espresso before. This was not your typical American coffee it was more like the thick bold morning European espresso. I tried adding two vanilla creamers but that was pointless since the coffee easily overpowered the vanilla flavoring. The Chicken strips were small but moist with a crunchy exterior. I would have liked if they were a bit bigger in size but I can't expect much from a fast food chain. They were tasty but I can't say I would go out of my way to order them again. I was left still feeling hungry after eating.

I will admit that I am completely torn about visiting Chick-Fil-A. Luckily, I'm not in the neighborhood very often, so my morals aren't torn about too often! GOOD: Chick-fil-a sauce. YUM! It's like a lemony sort of yellow BBQ sauce that goes amazingly on their chicken nuggets and waffle fries. I have no idea what's in it, but it is beautiful. BAD: corporate politics. I know we're supposed to steer clear of this on Yelp, but the fact that their parent corporation donates heavily to anti-equality measures is enough to keep me away for good. Maybe it makes me a bad activist, but I end up here once every month or two for chicken nuggets. Too yummy to stay away :-/

I have loved Chick-fil-A since I was a child and I still do. This location is so close to us and since KFC on Speedway closed, our go to place when the craving for fried chicken strikes. ( Lucky Wishbone for livers and gizzards! ) As others have mentioned, the restaurant is always clean and the employees very friendly. After eating at Chick-fil-A for over 30 years, in different locations all over the south and southwest, it's always the same. I don't know how they take boneless, skinless chicken breasts and make them taste like real fried chicken. I'm not going to spend too much time trying to figure it out, that takes away from eating time! The waffle fries, coleslaw, real ice cream shakes and the various dipping sauces are always fantastic. Last night we had a wait for our carryout order which we really didn't mind. Waiting means fresh chicken and fries! The manager, however, gave us a coupon for a free order of chicken strips and apologized sincerely for the wait. This place is fast food, but fast food done really well. Excellent food, cleanliness and customer service warrant 5 stars.

Grandparents day with our grandkids. The kids like Chick-fil-A. Manager (David Garcia) took order. Order incorrect. He wasn't listening. He was, however, friendly. Store layout clunky. The line blocks the door and the path to eastside seating. Any other restaurant I'd give it a four. However, I expect more from Chick-fil-A. Spicy Chicken was thin and overcooked. I've enjoyed many other spicy chickens from Chick-fil-A. They were all thick and juicy. Disappointed. Went back to the counter for dessert. Ordered a shake. Asked them to hold the whipped cream. The young lady, like her manager, screwed up the order. It was loaded with whipped cream. How tough can it be?

I grabbed a drive-thru. I had the Grilled chicken club and was surprised that was half way decent. The bun tasted fresh and the toppings as well. Quality of the the boneless chicken breast was nothing exceptional, but it wasn't bad nonetheless. The drive-thru girl was sweet and gave good service. Got an interesting flyer deal in the bag that says "Celebrate Cow Appreciation Day, July 8, 2011. Wear a Cow Costume, Get a Free Meal." Wow.

I already know what youre thinking. Why review a Chick-fil-A? Wellllllllllllllllllllll I will tell you. Their food is good, inexpensive and their service is always pleasant. BUT, this time, they had Chicken Tortilla Soup! Are you kidding me??? Now here is where the rubber meets the road. It is the chunkier variety of soup. So if you are looking for a more brothy experience, stop reading. If you like substance and comfort and goodness in your soup, you need to try this like yesterday. I think its only there for a limited time, so get it while its hot. Literally!

It was ready to get 4 stars until I got a piece of chicken with a part of the bag they come in in it. Yay for biting into gross chicken - it was actually green. They gave me new chicken and a free coupon for a salad. Thanks but I'll pass. Good thing I have a pretty strong stomach and don't flip out too quick or else there would have been a major scene. Luckily, it must have really been the bag not something more gross since I didn't get sick afterward. I would have been real angry had they ruined my trip and not just my quick lunch.

Love it here! The food is good compared to other fast-food restaurants. The service has always been very good. They walked with me to my table because I was carrying a child and later came to check on me to see if I needed a refill or extra sauce. The have a low (or no) calorie lemonade that is actually good! The reason we will keep coming back, though, is the cleanliness of the whole restaurant, the restrooms, and the play area. Speaking of the play area, it is one of the best around because it is nicely enclosed and safe.

Quality food, pleasant staff, and CLEAN restaurant. The service is top notch, very pleasant and courteous staff. Never rude, always attentive. Chick fila uses high quality chicken. The waffle fries are great and here is a secret, they have great milk shakes.

I went here because I won a gift certificate at work. Nasty nasty nasty. I thought even though I don't eat much fast food that this place might be alright because well they only do chicken. I was sadly mistaken. The breast was hardly real, just yuk I say, yuk!
