"Hello thank you for calling blackjack will you hold" Me "Sure" Machine "Thank you for you calling blackjack, listen to these awesome deals" 10 minutes later Machine "Just hold a bit more" two hours later Me "bye-bye" Yeah, let's say their customer service is not the best. Again, they're not rude, but they're a bunch of college kids that smoke the dope. Ha If the service was decent, I'd give it four stars since the pizza is cheap and good like Little Caesar's, but unlike Little Caesar's you have to deal with the service and can't just get the pizza and go, which sucks.

Why I even considered giving this place a second chance is beyond me, The night time "manager" Sarah was completely rude and stated they close at midnight now, despite it being over an hour after closing she was answering calls! Without being able to explain the reasoning behind it. Apparently, they also record every phone call without the consent of the customers, nor even letting the customer know that they may be recorded. Just absolutely pathetic.

I have had Blackjack pizza a couple times and it was good! However, my experience with Blackjack today ensured I will never eat their pizza again. I placed an order through their website and I was advised it would take approximately 30 minutes. An hour later and very hungry, I called the location and the guy said "Oh...the fax just came in. Yeah, it's not even in the oven yet." I very politely asked if he could cancel my order since it would take at least another 30 minutes and I was beyond hungry. He told me he was very sorry but I'd have to go online to cancel it. This was a further pain, but was able to cancel it through Campus Special (their online ordering service). So disappointing that they don't seem to check their online orders; if you're not going to honor them, don't offer the service! I'll never order from here again.

If it wasn't for the poor customer service I would give this place 4 stars for the pizza but I've had enough. My roommates and I use to order all the time and would very frequently get pizza with the wrong toppings. I understand that mistakes happen but after multiple incorrect pizzas I finally decided to call and see if they could send us what we ordered. After sitting on hold for 15 minutes I talked to the manager who in turn gave the phone to the person who took our order. The kid insisted that we ordered the wrong pizza and refused to admit that he possibly heard wrong. Not only was he very unprofessional, he became defensive and was an absolute nightmare to talk to. All I can say is that blackjack pizza has earned the boot from my go-to places to eat.

I love this place, every time I go to Tucson I order a pizza here. What are you guys open one up in Phoenix! Great pizza at a great price. Can't beat it!

Alright, so this review is a bit unconventional considering how I didn't actually eat any pizza. But to make a long story short: my husband set his phone on top of my car and I drove off. It fell off somewhere along Campbell. While we were trying to figure out how to find it I got a call from Cory at this location explaining that he had found the phone on Campbell and that he would leave it at the store for us to get. You don't see that kind of generosity these days. Especially someone picking up a mostly smashed iPhone out of the middle of a busy road and calling the owner. Basically, it was totally awesome that he did that and deserves some recognition. So if he's your delivery driver, hook him up! He's awesome in our book.

I am a huge fan of this place, solely because of their food. Their customer service is another story. I usually come here once a month and I order a large pizza with pepperoni for my friends and I. Their food is seriously on point. I love the way they make it here and their RANCH is so good! I could eat here everyday if I could. But I don't, because then, that would be bad. :3 However, that's not to say their service is god awful. I can understand that this is just another job to some of the staff, to get through college or to get through life in general. I just wish they would show a bit more professionalism.

After reading the reviews on Yelp for this place I was a little hesitant about ordering from them, but they were the most convenient and none of the complaints were about the food so I decided to take a chance, and I was well rewarded. I used the blackjack website to order online at 5:30pm for pick-up and I got a medium pizza, cheese sticks and a salad for under $23! The website said that the food would be ready in 15 min but I couldn't make it there until 30 min later which was fine because the pizzas were ready by then and they put my salad together quick. So I'd caution against believing the 15 min website estimation. I'd agree with the other reviews that there are some young adults working there, but there were clearly 2 mature adults who were the managers and attentive with their customer service. Overall, I'd give them a 4 on service but if I could give a 6 I would because the food was really that good. I'd say if you're not trying to get pizza in the middle of the night (as some of the other reviews were) then this is a solid place to get good pizza for a reasonable price.

they forgot about me, i called..they said the driver called them 20 minutes ago to say he had a flat tire...but didn't think to call me...so...i'm going to Old Chicago's instead..thanks for reminding me why i never pay ahead of time with delivery pizza.

They frequently have really good specials, and the staff is always friendly. Unfortunately, the pizza just isn't that good. If you only have $5 and need a pizza, maybe this will be just what you need. If you have a little more money, there's better pizza half a block away.

I have to say I love this pizza and the salads are awesome. I am so disappointed with the horrible service I just called and left a message with the corporate office. I want the convenience of ordering and paying online but the system tells me my address is not valid. Hmmm, I get all my bills and junk mail with no problem, I get Pizza Hut with no problem. Every time I order I have to call to give the correct address and still hey don't get it right. I've had to stop them from delivering to the wrong house a few times. A few times the driver just drove away and I had to call the store again to give them the information. Tonight when I tried to call I was immediately placed on hold and waited 6 minutes. I called back and said "no" when they asked me to hold and they just put me on hold anyway. I can get a much better pizza and 100% better service at Piezanos AND support a local business. I'm done with Blackjack.

You know how sometimes you have different experiences with the same company? second review is for an order delivered late, but nicely handled. I called and because of the unexpected increase in business that night. The manager told me to tell the driver to give me a discount, even though already prepaid w/ccd..driver gave me back $3. That was totally cool and I asked him if it was going to come out of his pocket, because it wasn't his fault and I wouldn't accept that. He said no. I still put a tip on my cc for him. I also received a coupon for breadsticks or cheesesticks free next time. Very cool....Still 5 stars at this point. Then.......I ordered again less than 2 week later. This time, the person that took my ccd info was diff than the order taker. He quoted me 30-40 min....50 minutes later, I called. The order taker said he'd check with the driver and let me know the driver was close. He said no quote for time was given, but I said the other guy did. He really didn't respond, so I said ok then and hung up. At least let the customer know it they are running late. Then I was pretty mad that we ordered a 20pc and 10 pc order of wings along with a 2 topping pizza, which usually you get one ranch for every 5 wings. I got 2 half filled ranch cups! I couldn't eat wings until I went to the store to get a bottle of ranch the next day. Not to be picky here, but I cannot handle a burning mouth without that beautiful cool ranch to mellow it out and that is what honesty and reviewing here is all about. It's the little things. I still have to give this one experience a 4star review. It wasn't the food, just the employees that sucked that night. I couldn't call to gripe about the lack of ranch. I don't think it was the driver that messed that up, but maybe it was up to him to get the sauces together. Sad I couldn't enjoy the whole thing :(

They put me on hold immediately after picking up the phone and I waited on the line. When he came back a few minutes later, the employee told me they don't deliver to my area. I asked him why he put me on hold if they don't deliver to my area and he said it's because I didn't give him my address, I then said that I would have given him my address if he didn't immediately put me on hold when he picked up the phone. I wasn't done complaining and he hung up the phone, I called back and asked for a manager and he explained he was the manager. Surprised. I asked who his boss was and he said 'Frank'. Does this 'Frank' have a last name I asked? He said yes, 'Frank *********'. I will be calling him tomorrow. I really wish I got to try their pizza, and awesome breadsticks, and possibly salad, but alas, I will go hungry tonight.

Terrible service. I get pizza delivered to my workplace from this location on a regular basis. I live 3 blocks down the street from there. The delivery area they have listed online (that goes a mile past my address) but the guy on the phone tells me "it cannot be delivered to because the computer won't let them". They have delivered here several times in the past. Then, when I pointed out I'm a mile within the delivery area, I hear the delivery driver tell his manager, "that's too far out man, I don't want to drive downtown, those streets are all one way and sh*t" If you are not going to deliver because you don't know the delivery area, at least have the decency to tell me so. Looks like I'll be sticking with Empire Pizza from now on. Tad more expensive, but they actually deliver to the areas they have listed online. Plus, they give you a free cookie with any order.

Visiting Tucson, I searched Yelp for "open now" and based on the reviews I decided to try Blackjack Pizza. I did not have a good experience. Their hours are posted on Yelp and they say that they are open till midnight so I drove over there at 10:30 and the door was locked. A sign on the door says that the lobby closes at 10. They saw me out there but did not open the door or even come over and talk to me. I called and asked if I could get a pizza and they said "No, delivery only." I explained that their published hours on Yelp said that they were open till midnight, and they explained that they have no control over Yelp. This is a lie because the only way to get your hours posted on Yelp is to logon and post them. Yelp does not make up the hours. To make it even worse their phone is answered by an automated system that makes you listen to an extremely irritating advertisement every time you call. If you call back to ask why it is taking so long, you get to hear it again. When they finally came to the phone they were kind of rude but I ordered a pizza anyway because I was hungry. They quoted me $12.99 and took my credit card number. I didn't ask how long it would take but 30 minutes is the standard time. They did not tell me that it would be an hour. When the driver finally showed up he told me that they have closed at 10 for many years. Why don't they fix the posted hours? The pizza was OK but not worth $13, and the service was terrible. I will not be eating Blackjack Pizza again.

Blackjack is part of my pizza problem as I have it about once a week. I'm a student and there is always free Blackjack on Wednesdays. I think I need to say no further, I could eat this once a week and not be sick of it. Try the artichoke-yum!

Just back from a trip to Tucson. Whenever I visit, I always try to get some Blackjack Pizza. I love their BBQ chicken pizza - sauce is yummy and good portion of chicken - no skimping here. I also love the veggie pizza - actually everything but the olives, but they'll make the way you want it. Seriously, the best sauce on pizza so even the plain cheese pizza is delicious. I don't usually go for the extra cheesebread, but rec'd a sample with my order - omg, good stuff! Actually saved some for the next day and it was even tastier! You can't beat their prices. Every time someone mentions they're from Tucson, I always ask them about Blackjack Pizza and they all rave about it being the best. I agree!
