Just picked up a Toasted Baggins Club, very nice building on the inside, but the lady behind the counter didn't seem to wanna be there at all, which I didn't mind very much... But when I got home, my sandwich wasn't toasted... Would rather go up the road 3 miles for better service and quality

Hopefully they don't go out of business! Very quiet! Some of there sandwiches are not very flavorful, but I LOVE the turkey-cranberry one!

I've tried Baggin's twice, and both times I threw away most of my sandwich without eating it. Sometimes I finish food that I don't like because I'm hungry and I paid for it. But on both my visits to this Baggin's, the sandwiches had no redeeming qualities and I decided I would rather pay again for food somewhere else than eat another bite. I know this is classic #firstworldproblems and I hate to throw out good food. Luckily, they don't serve any.

We chose to eat at Baggins, quite frankly because the breakfast place we go to was way to full. When we entered the was no greeting , the staff looked like they needed more help, they seemed frazzled. When we entered I was pleasantly surprised with the decor. Not new, but nice. The cashier quickly took our orders and then we were promptly served. Now the sandwiches were really really good. Kudos on that!!! I had the California BLT and it was great!! The staff member who brought them to our table seemed in such a hurry ! She just left the bags in a pile and we sorted them out. The tables seemed a bit sticky but looked cleaner than a lot of other sandwich places I have been to. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a good lunch with no time to waste!!

Really great sandwiches. The decor could use a bit of help. When we went they were out of french bread for subs, which for a more picky customer might be offputting. Running out of bread in a sandwich place seems problematic. Taste was great overall.

I heart you Baggins. I heart your fun sandwiches, the sun tea, and the cookie that comes with every sandwich. This used to be the location closest to my house before I moved out of state, and it's good to see some of the same staff members still there several years later. It's pretty small, but most locations are. Cute decor, usually very clean. A bonus is a small outdoor seating area. Baggins does a mean sandwich. I've got two favorites: the Unforgettable (most fillings available are on this one!) and the Sundown (think Thanksgiving for lunch). Husband always gets the High Baggins, which we nicknamed the High Cholesterol Baggins, since it's an egg salad type of sandwich, with some extras. They also do hot, grilled sandwhiches that I've never tried because I like my usuals so much. Never been disappointed, and always make a point of stopping in when we're in town now! Tip: ask for a punch card!!

It's funny how often I eat here. I get the California BLT the most often, but on sourdough. Hubby tries lots of the specials. Mom gets eggs salad. I get my peach green tea. The service is always great. The food always comes quickly. That's why I eat here so often. Hubby now works in the area so we eat here for dinner almost as often as Mom and I eat lunch here - and they know her by name! They'll see us again and again!

Really good sandwiches. Wish they had a better selection of chips, but that's really nitpicking. I've had the Unforgettable Baggins and the Chicken Rojo - both excellent. Bread tastes fresh and ingredients do as well. The free cookie is a nice touch and it's a pretty good cookie too, especially since it's free. Service is friendly and quick. Definitely will keep going back.

My experience was not so good. I walk in and was not greeted. Two young ladies were at the register arguing about how to properly do something. They would ask me a question and then go back to arguing. My sand which was not properly made. They were not busy. The a manager was in the back loudly expressing how they were out of certain foods and unsure when the delivery trucks were coming. It was just a very odd experience and made me not want to go back.

Decided to give em another try since it'd been a long time. The chicken salad salad comes in a lousy bread bowl now within a clumsy box UNLESS you specify otherwise, which I didn't know. And they got rid of the breadsticks I so loved! The amount of chicken salad was 1/2 of what it used to be and for $7.49, that's shameful. As I struggled eating the salad in the box (you can't take it out unless you want to put it directly on the table - blech), my beloved cookie fell on the floor. That same older lady that seems to always be there with the hunched back sat down to eat near us and she must have told me 10 times that I don't have to get the salad in the bread bowl/box but 'all you have to do is ask to have it in the plastic container". Really? Ok then all you have to do is tell me once. Not 10 freaking times. And did she get me another cookie when I mentioned how mine fell on the floor? You got it. Nope!

I have eaten at this location numerous times and always have the same sandwich, the Baggins Quickie Almond Alabacore Tuna on 12 grain bread. Love the 12 grain bread -- it is fresh, tastes very healthy and wholesome. The tuna is delicious and fresh. And, you get a yummy chocolate chip cookie along with your meal. The employees at this branch are friendly, appear to enjoy their work and make customers feel welcome. The restaurant could use a little refreshing but is clean. Some of the chairs are a bit rickety as well. No complaints about the food or service and make sure you get a frequent diner card and get your free sandwich after 8 sandwich purchases.

Not a bad sandwich. . .very chaotic in the kitchen. I had the cheesesteak and they wanted to put marinara sauce on it. . .seriously?

The Unforgettable Baggins sandwich makes Baggins literally unforgettable! Honestly, I don't know what it is about this place, but every sandwich I order satisfy the craving that is at hand! The hot or cold sandwiches are a must. The combo meal comes with a side (chips, pasta salad, etc...), an amazing freshly baked little cookie, and a drink! I usually get the pasta salad, with little bacon bits, corn, celery, green onion, corkscrew pasta all lightly covered in oil, salt, & pepper, is perfected. I'd say it gives Baggins its signature touch. Now, if you're on a "diet", DO NOT COME HERE. UNLESS, you have plenty self control and can order the sandwiches in the "half", you'll still be eating about 400 calories worth, which doesn't include the cookie, side, or drink. Obviously, I'm not talking about the veggie sandwiches, and I'm not sure about the egg sandwich, but I know about 90% of the sandwiches have about 800+ calories or more! EKK.. IF ANYONE CARES. =) This location is sweet, clean, and very friendly. LUNCH is ALWAYS busy. I do wish this location would be open later, but I do know the new location on Broadway & Craycroft opens until 9 PM.

Great little sandwich shop. I particularly like this location. The staff is friendly and seems at ease. Gives the whole place a relaxing vibe. I was a" Baggins Cheese-steak with mixed peppers and no sauce" devotee for a long time, and then I tried the Southwestern Tuna. Holy Mackerel, err, I mean Tuna. Wow. All white meat and mild. Doesn't have that fishy taste. They mix in a bunch of other stuff I don't know about, but what I do know is that they add jalapenos. Yummy! Tuna with a kick. Put it on grilled bread and top it with cheddar, tomato and lettuce and the end result is tuna sandwich heaven. The other item that I have to mention is the Rum Cake. I would fight off lions for this cake.

This place is a total rip-off for the quantity of food you get! I didn't ever get into the Baggin's hype and I know it's because the food is not that great. I do think they use fairly good quality ingredients but I'll use my money for something that's not going to leave me hungry in an hour.

HI absolutely love this sandwich spot. I love the family atmosphere This restaurant is owned separately from the other Baggins, and boy you can tell just by the feeling you get ....its more family orientated . I look for that kind of customer service ... You have to try my favorite sandwich ..."the Baggins Cheese-steak" Bible it is a must have!!! Don't forget to get your card stamped the eighth sandwich is free ,or is it the ninth? all i know is you get a free sandwich.

Y'know I really liked the sandwich. It was an unforgettable Baggin's and it tasted pretty good. But, as I ate I saw the POOR food safety and I got a little ill. Where are the hair restraints? Why was a guy drinking in the food prep area? Why did the girl clean the counter with a rag and still use the same gloves to make a sandwich??? I won't be back I really do not want to risk cross contamination.

OK I have had the unfortunate experience of eating at Baggin's across this fine city of ours and they get a star for consistency. Whichever Baggin's you go to you will get the same bland tiny portions. If you like that then good for you everyone else you should go else where for a real amount of protein on your sandwich. I'd only give it one star but my wife loves the place so 2 stars it is.

Baggins is a decent sandwich shop in Tucson. Some people consider it a bit pricey. I always get the Baggins Sundown on 12 grain bread, it comes with turkey, lettuce, cranberry, stuffing. It is a very good sanwich and I have tried others and they have been good as well.

Take a little tuna, mix it with a teeny weeny bit of mayo, spread it on one piece of 12 grain bread. The other piece of bread, throw on a little lettuce, some alfa alfa sprouts, a tomato slice. Slap both breads together and you have a baggins tuna sandwich. You will pay about $8 for it vs. the $2 sandwich you can make at home. If you order iced tea, another $2. Lunch for a freakkin sandwich $10, priceless. Watever. Used to go to this place at least once a week because I was too lazy to pack my own lunch. They are fast, and a no nonsense place. The ladies back there like to yell a lot. The portions are small. The drink portion is even smaller if you are not eating there. Free refills. Have had better. Go to Jason' deli instead.

I have lunched at Baggins for years, mostly delivery to my workplace. Very convenient and with 10 locations throughout Tucson, I never have to be without my Baggins fix. Many different and unique sandwiches to select from. My favorite is the the Sundown Baggins--turkey, cranberries and stuffing--yummm. Meats are cooked right on site and every thing is fresh. They have many specialty sandwiches and build your own. Kettle chips, potato salad and bow tie chicken salad are only a few of the sides the have to offer. With each order, a signature chocolate chip cookie is the finishing touch. Salads and other desserts are offered as well. The employees are very friendly and seem to enjoy themselves and their jobs. Kudos to the owner and managers for providing good food and good service!
