I love Angelo's for the gyros. The meat is juicy and not dried out like some other places. The restaurant is sort of a dive place but the food more than makes up for the atmosphere. Really really good food

We personally love this place, my boyfriend and I. He loves the Greek portion and I love the Italian/ pizza portion so two world that collide makes one amazing thing! We went in there last night 10 minutes before they were going to close up shop and they still politely and willingly took our big order. I as always have a calzone and we also ordered four gyros. The people are super friendly, the food is fresh and delicious and even though sometimes the prices seem a little high you get what you pay for in portion size and delicious food. The gyros are packed with meat and the calzones are full of ricotta and mozzarella goodness. We love this place and will continue to come back!

Some of the best places are these small "hole in the wall" places...Exactly like this one. Angelo's has some of the vest Italian food I've ever tasted. Their Chicken Parmesan is to die for, and the breadsticks are the best I've ever tasted...ANYWHERE!

Decent food but horrible service & skimpy portions! Angelo's is about 5 minutes away from my house & when I went there before the food was pretty good. I didnt feel like going out so decided to order & have it delivered. I was so hungry & looking forward to my chicken parmesan but it took them 1 1/2 hours to get it to me! When I called to check on it after an hour the guy just said "sorry but we're packed. It'll be there soon". Nice guy but I couldn't believe they were so casual about it! Offered nothing but a quick apology. If you aren't staffed to deliver, then you shouldn't advertise it! I'll never order from them again!

I have been eating at Angelo's for over 10 years. Delicious pizza and tasty gyros, alongside American favorites and yummy desserts. The staff is friendly as well. It's a hidden gem with food that tastes better than most major pizza chains. I highly recommend it.

Love it. One of my favorite "greasy spoons" in Tucson. The pizza was awesome. The Philly cheese steak was awesome. The price is right. I've driven past this place for years and I am kicking myself for all of the lost time. Stop driving past it and grab it for lunch or dinner.

Great Gyros. The pizza is very good, as is the chicken parm and the eggplant parm. Staff is always friendly. A hidden gem for lunch if you work in that area

Popped in here for a quick lunch while attending a conference at Flowing Wells Jr. High. I got the meatball sub, which was super delicious. They make their meatballs in house, and you can tell. The sauce was wonderful, and they put just enough on it, and it is toasted to perfection! My amiga got a slice of pineapple pizza, and it looked amazing. She reported that it is. I will definitely be returning. :)

It amazes me how many times I drove by this place before trying it. To think of the years of outstanding pizza I missed out on. Their pizza is the best in the area. The calzone is pretty great also.

This place charges $0.25 for a cup of ice if you would like to drink water. They also have signs posted about the charges for extra sauces, etc. Pizza is most decidedly marginal.

Best pizza in Tucson for the price! I love the inexpensive food and the customer service is always great. I highly recommend this place.

Perhaps our favorite locally owned pizza/delivery place. Where else can you get a pizza with gyro meat and feta cheese delivered faster than promised to your door?!

Today i got the Italian Grinder and a Sausage Calzone (and a side of fried ravioli). Let me tell you WIN WIN WIN!!! Italian Grinder is up there with some of the best ones i've had. They go ahead and toast your bread lightly, melting the cheese to their bread and just the whole shebang was great, not much more to say... You need to try this place though. The calzone won me over though, there was Mozarella cheese, feta and some other cheeses all melted in there it was delicious. My roommate and i should have asked but we are sure that they used the mozarella that is in those balls (not sure what those are called). The fried ravioli was good, i never had one before but it was decent. it was a little spicy so beware if you dont like spice. I like the place and can't wait to come back for pizza and the gyros.. I was a little disappointed with gyro selection, but gyro's in their name so it should be good here...we will see on future trips out here.

unfriendly staff, overpriced sausage with onions and peppers was served on a generic french roll, a sausage that tasted like a Johnsonville, a little marinara and about a tbsp of onion and tbsp on peppers+chips+drink for $8.50...slow to serve too...about 15 minutes from order to table
