Zeke’s Eatin Place Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Love this place! portions are huge, food is always good, easy to be in place, and lots of big tables if you have lots of people. Always friendly, cool girls that seat you and the waiters are very accomidating to crazy kids. It does tend to get a little pricey, but well worth it being that their is so much food that you get. Just make sure that you go to the Zekes in PV because the one in the shopping center in Prescott smells like smoke, because it's on the res you are allowed to smoke in there.

Good, honest, down home cooking at a fair price. Excellent, friendly service! A must do breakfast spot in the Prescott area! It had been about 5 years since my last visit and just as good as I remembered!

Ok, HUGE portions is an understatement here. HUGE HUGE HUGE!!! and very affordable. One thing though. There are 2 locations. One in Prescott Valley and another in Prescott (proper). The one in Prescott is located in kind of a strip mall, is kinda small and has a smoking section. If you are not a fan of smoke while you eat, don't go here! You can go a few miles down the road to the PV location and it's much more family friendly. Larger & smoke free. Either one you go to though is going to have the most amazing cowboy comfort food I think I have ever tried. Big props to Zeke! :)

If you are looking for comfort food in large quantities this is the place to go. The staff is always super friendly, the food is always at or above par for greasy-spoon type fare. If you go for breakfast they will give you your 'wagon wheel' pancakes for free if you can eat all three. I've never seen it done though, they are a solid 12 inches across! Recommend the meatloaf, chicken fried steak, or any of the open-face sandwiches. There is another location in prescott valley by the movie theatre that is open for dinner.

When you walk into the door, you will likely notice country music playing in the background (last time I was there, I walked into "Achy Breaky Heart"). I have found that service is prompt and friendly for both dine-in and takeout visits. The front of the restaurant - which consists of the cash register, counter, and waiting area - is partitioned from the main dining area. The dining area consists of both booths and tables. "Zeke's" offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The portions are surprisingly large. I would consider "Zeke's" to have the one of the better breakfast offerings in the Prescott area. For breakfast, any of their omelets are good selections. I have liked both the "Meat Lover's" and the "South of the Border" Omelets (certainly, not at the same time!). While the Meat Lovers Omelet is self-explanatory, the South of the Border Omelete consists of chorizo or seasoned beef, cheese, avocado, pico de gallo, and enchilada sauce. And to add to the enormous size of these omelets, you also get a choice of hash browns, fruit, cottage cheese, or tomatoes. You also get to select between toast and biscuits covered in gravy (certainly a contributing factor toward a physically serious, "Achy Breaky Heart" - but who cares!). For dinner, I have enjoyed both the Prime Rib - which is offered only on Friday and Saturday - and the T-bone steak. Dinner comes with a collection of sides, including your usual (mashed potatoes, fries, etc.), vegetables or coleslaw, cheese bread or cornbread, and a choice between soup and salad. Also, dessert offerings - of which my favorite is Carrot Cake - are enormous! Ambience is supplied mostly from ceiling light and is well lit (but not excruciatingly bright). The atmosphere is very "westerly." Prices are very affordable, considering you get large portions (doggy bag, anyone?). Breakfast is less than $10. For dinner, appetizers range from about $7 to $12. Entrees range from $11 to $25. I must say that Zeke's is certainly an extremely good value for what you get. The worst that this restaurant can do is change to smaller portion sizes or increase its prices. Keep it the way it is! To add, you may be required to wait for a table - especially during the midst of mealtimes (this is especially true on weekends). Additional Notes: - Lunch is also avaliable (the usual burgers and what not).

You get huge servings for the money! Not fancy, just good country cooking! The omelettes are great!

I came here with my grandpa while I was visiting, as he loves this place. They were extremely busy, the service was still good, but the server was not friendly by any means. I ordered lunch food and it was just okay, nothing special. Breakfast might be a little better though.

This place is awesome. Food is huge and quality and freshness are obvious here! Wait staff is great too... it's a busy place for sure so be ready to be "cozy" with the other patrons.....lots of locals here so that's a good sign of a great place as well!

We took a quick trip to eat at what is now my old favorite breakfast place. It took 10 minutes to get a drink/food order taken after being seated. Another 5 minutes to even get the drinks. Then while I could see our food sitting in the window our waitress walked by it roughly 5 times taking other food orders, delivering food to tables that sat after us AND taking the time to seat, talk, and flirt with her friends. By the time we actually got out food it was Luke warm at best. 10 minutes after that and as I was finishing she decided to ask if we needed anything else. VERY disappointed in what used to be an amazing breakfast spot

Chicken Fried steak. Comes in three different sizes. Got the large. It was border-line pre-fab-frozen out-of-the-box fair a-la Denny's. Clearly not their specialty. Decent portion. B-.

LUNCH: Five stars. By far the best of the small cafes for lunch. Zeke's is now non-smoking, so you can ignore the bad reviews by militant non-smokers who allowed their dislike for smokers to slant their reviews of the food here. . BTW, I am a non-militant non-smoker. :) The lunch food is as good as ever. Best BLTs in the county and best soups in town, and maybe the best burgers and sandwiches. And the service is always good. DINNER. Two stars. The prime rib was not rare as claimed, but was medium, as evidenced by its pink color. It had been sliced off hours before, as evidenced by the darker, dried-out coloration of the cut surfaces, suggesting it had languished under a heat lamp for hours. Any place that serves medium prime rib as rare and cuts it off the beef before it is ordered is one step above an army mess hall. The night cook is a short-cut artist. It was a high quality cut of beef, though, even if they ruined and misrepresented it. The only thing that was good for dinner was the excellent Texas Toast, baked potato and blue cheese dressing. The bbq beans were ordinary. Boring. Could have come from a can. I doubt that we will go there for dinner again, but most definitely will not order the travesty they call Prime Rib. Any restaurant that would perpetrate such a fraud on its customers like that prime rib should be avoided. At least for dinner. And I didn't appreciate being hustled to buy a dessert. I predict they will not be open for dinner for more than a few months. BTW, they close when they feel like it. Call before you go. We found them closed at 8 the other night, instead of the 9 PM closing they claim.

It's one of those "shop 'til you drop" days. We have a bunch of DIY projects going and made the rounds of the big box hardware stores. Before we knew it, it was way past lunch time and found ourselves right around the corner from Zeke's, so we figured WTH, give it a shot. The friendly hostess made short work of the meet, greet, and seat. Got a nice booth in the back. This is kind of a "cowboy" hang out. Nicely decorated in western stuff with a ton of John Wayne art on the wall. Pretty cool. The wall mounted flat screens show an endless string of awesome "train wreck" rodeo ride clips... Bulls, horses, the works. Some looked particularly painful for riders... Ouch. Our server quickly materialized with menus and took our drink orders. Great "American Cuisine" choices. I chose the meatloaf, with mashed potatoes and cowboy beans. My wife had the liver and onions. We both opted for the cornbread. A short wait later the food was delivered. Wow. What a plate. If you are not sure how hungry you are you might want to rethink eating here unless you can take the left overs with you. Portions are substantial. Simply put, our meals were fantastic. Just the right balance of "not fast food" and good home-cooked, comfort food. I'm usually leery of restaurant meatloaf, not to worry. It was great. My wife loved the liver and onions. The corn bread, served with butter and honey, is better described as corn cake. It was that good. Don't come in here looking for Chateau Briand. This is not fine dining at it's most elegant... This is just a darn good eatin' place.... And we will be back.

This place is terrible. Had an omelette last week there. I got food poisoning. I don't think the restaurant is very clean. The restrooms are gross. Stay away and stay healthy. Don't waste your money. Go to Cracker Barrel where it's clean and you can expect fresh and wholesome food.

I go 4 an 99% stars the fries are frozen , the rest is so good, more food then you can eat,I feed 1/2 of every sandwich to my dog, ( can't eat it all) he wates for me in the truck an loves them as much as I do ,I have had many meals here an will keep coming back ,,the beer is draft an cold ,22oz's bock, the waitress's have always been so great, treat everyone great, I feel they bust there butts providing great service to all not just some so I say come join in this place it is worth it!!!!!

5 Star breakfast portions and prices (see pics) with 3 star service. Atmosphere is weird. Lots of old timey Cowboy stuff (John Wayne, etc. ) on the walls but the fluorescent lighting gives it a cafeteria feel. There are a few ancient TV's hanging around but they're hard to see from where I was, especially with the fluorescent lights glaring off the screen. We were a group of 8 on a Friday morning and walked right in without a wait, although, I suspect it wouldn't happen on a Saturday morning. Others have raved about the Wagon wheel pancakes so I'll just add, "I'll bet you cant eat both." Next time I'm in Prescott, I'll be here for sure!

First time here tonight on the recommendation of a colleague. After several disappointing steaks in Phoenix, thought I would try for one here. Brandy, my server exemplifies what service is and should be in a restaurant. She truthfully answered all my questions and tried very hard to ensure my steak was rare. The kitchen sent out a medium rare but I did not send it back due to Brandy's efforts. She earned the 63% tip I left her. Portions are generous, yet flavor can be improved. While it won't be immediate, I will return to Zeke's.

On our first trip out to prescott, we found this place on yelp and have been back every time since! The first time, I ordered the crunchy French toast. It was the best French toast I have ever had! I don't even like French toast but I loved this one! Since that first experience, I've been back and have tried other items. The only thing that's been bad has been their monte cristo. I'm not sure why they just use French toast as the bread to build their sandwich instead of building the sandwich and then dipping the whole thing in batter then frying it...it was so weird and wasn't served with syrup....the waitress looked at me like I was crazy because I asked for it! Also, my boyfriend sent a steak back once because it was unseasoned and overcooked. The last time I was back, I ordered the French dip sandwich and was very pleased with the super soft bread, melty cheese, and sautéed onions :) also, the seasoned fries served on the side were awesome! I will definitely be back on future visits to prescott. Three stars for hit or miss food and hit or miss service. There's a waitress with long blonde hair in a ponytail or braid who seems like she's always pissed off every time I've been there! Oh, and the rodeo bloopers played on a loop are a little weird.

Prescott Valley location is closed, smoking inside is banned under state law, John Wayne is still on the American Flag. Still not sure what the "Cruise Nite" (sic) sign means, but it's been there as long as I can remember. Staff is friendly (though they like to show off their bra straps. whatever.) Food is way too big, but they have boxes and it's sort of their "thing." I think they just need a facelift, some wifi (practically no cell phone reception in Frontier Village), and show something other than rodeo bloopers on the tv's. Please. I'm begging you. Show C-SPAN for all I care, just mix it up a little. I ordered a cheeseburger medium rare, and it came well well done. I figured it was safer anyway and ate it, but seriously? No pink at ALL. Flavor was still good.

We decided on Zeke's due to great reviews on Yelp. We visited today, 07/04/14 and due to the big rodeo - it was slammed busy and we had a 20-minute wait. It was well worth the wait! All items are mostly from scratch fresh! The order window should have been giving off flames with the busy lunch! We had the famous 2 Eggs-2 Bacons-2 Wagon Wheel Size Pancakes, the Patty Melt Plate, and our kiddo ordered chicken strips, chili, cornbread, and french fries! It was DELICIOUS and plenty of it!!! Location is a bit tricky.. In a corner of the Target end of a large shopping area off of HWY 69. I just noticed the bacon looks burnt in the photo - it was so NOT burnt.. Just camera angle and shadows. The bacon was scrumptiously perfect! The food is fantastic!!

Great breakfast place! I would love to try it for lunch or if they ever serve dinner... But this is always the best way to start the day.. Don't come here if you're on a diet cause I'm not sure what you would order. However, if you're not on a diet......everything so far that I've tried here is good! and lots of it! Zeke's benedict was awesome! A biscuit (instead of english muffin) with sausage, eggs, hashbrowns and sausage gravy over everything. Do I need to say if that tasted good? The wagon wheel pancake seems to be something you have to try at least once here. Bigger than a steering wheel! Everyone else had the 2x2x2 which is ONLY 2 eggs, 2 sausage or bacon and 2 pancakes because they can't hang. Service is pretty fast and pretty country style friendly!

[3 stars for ambiance, 3.5 stars for food quality and 4 stars for quantity] Warning don't go here if you are just looking for some small light snack. Small portions are non existant here. Plus the best part is they serve breakfast until 2pm daily. That is what I opted for one of their "small" breakfast plate options with 2 eggs, hash browns, choice of meat and toast OR biscut with gravy. OK, now when you give this girl a biscuit and gravy option, 99% of the time I am going to take it. I could just imagine how large the regular breakfast servings were if this was small. It was also UNDER $6. *cha-ching* My lunch companions opted for the burgers (one with bacon, another with guacamole, another just plain) all on toasted garlic french bread. These burgers were HUGE!! and they talked about them all weekend. Two other lunch companions choose the 1/2 sandwichs and those were also large for a half sandwich. They left completely stuffed as did I. We got there after the lunch rush but it still took a while to get our food. But our drinks stayed full and ultimately the food was good. I would stop in again.

Awesome food! My dad Richard and his wife Brenda are big fans and he brought me along when I came to Prescott to visit. Really good home-town home-made American favorites! HUGE portion, I had enough chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes for two whole meals. The cheesy garlic bread was AH-MAZ-ING! I wanted more.... but was SO full :) Waiter was great and friendly.

We have been enjoying Zeke's for nearly three decades. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, come hungry and be prepared to skip at least your next meal. You will be in the good company of cowboys, cowgirls, and other good old boys and girls that know they can count on Zeke's for good food and plenty of it. See ya thar, pard.

First off the service was excellent. The eggs and sausages I had were good and the hash browns were good and plentiful. My major complaint is the coffee. I can't really explain what it tasted like, but it sure wasn't a quality cup of Joe. All in all very average. 'nuf said.

This place used to be in Prescott Valley. But they have since moved to the east side of Prescott. Over the years, I've eaten here (while in PV). I remember the portions being very, very generous...so you'll definitely get your money's worth. On this visit, I checked out the new location. Knowing that the orders are usually pretty huge, I ordered the half sandwich (pastrami on rye) and soup/salad. I guess it must have been pretty good cause I was wishing I had order the full sandwich. But by the time I finished my plate, I was glad I stuck to the half sandwich. The burgers are 1/2 lb so get ready to get filled up should you try one. I remember the chicken fried steak being pretty darn good also...I think the gravy makes it! I also recall getting a dessert a while back but can't remember exactly what we go (it might have been a birthday cake slice)...again, I do remember it being way too much for us to eat! I can't comment on breakfast items as I've never stopped in that early. Guess I also want a beer with my meal! Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get in return. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you want to walk out with your belly stuffed!

Amazing food and service. Dishes were huge, food tasted great They season their burgers with something and they are fantastic. In the mood for comfort food, this is the pace to go.

'nuf said.

I've eaten here several times. Was very disappointed the last time. Seems like they have changed the food quality. Not consistent as with previous visits.

This place is awesome. Food is huge and quality and freshness are obvious here! Wait staff is great too... it's a busy place for sure so be ready to be "cozy" with the other patrons.....lots of locals here so that's a good sign of a great place as well!
