I have been coming here for years but tonight I was disappointed in the customer service I received. I tried cashing in my lottery ticket at 7:03pm but the manager said she stopped doing this at 7:00pm. I used to work in a grocery store and I know all she had to do was scan the card, pay me my $7.00, and re-run the report. She chose to give me a subpar customer service experience instead of rising to the occasion. In a small town with tight competition between two other grocery stores, I would like to think Safeway would want to differentiate itself. I'll try out the other grocery stores in town...

You know, there's not much of a selection here in good ol Parker (Walmart is the other choice) for groceries. But, this Safeway is pretty nice with everything that you need. Yes, their selection of certain things (veggies, drinks) is minimal but it's to be expected for a small town. Bonus points for Starbucks inside since that is the only one in town. Customer service wasn't too bad either. All in all, a good grocery store for Parker.

The service is ALWAYS VERY SLOW! The staff there is always discussing their personal lives in front of the customers and over the summer up to labor Sunday the Frappuccino's have big chunks of ice in them. There doesn't appear to be an adult there supervising and obviously the staff is desperately in need of training. From a frustrated gold card customer.

This is a local hang out in the morning in Parker, Arizona. The starbucks is the reason why.

Clean and tidy new Safeway in a less than clean and tidy town. Starbucks just inside the door with a small lounging area tucked just inside the front doors. Nice selection of fruit, breads, veggies as well as a well stocked wine aisle. Flowers and gifts--all one expects from Safeway. Service was friendly. Conveniently located on the main highway just before the casino heading towards Lake Havasu City.

This was a bright spot in a very depressing little town. I was not expecting a decent Safeway like I get at home in Los Angeles. I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, efficient, and nice staffed there. I would go here again. PS there is a Starbucks inside, an additional plus.

This Safeway is the worst. Vons was my favorite chain in San Diego but the Parker Safeway leaves a lot to be desired in the cashier department. The majority of the cashiers are lazy and rude and won't bend an inch to resolve a customer issue. The management is fine but they need to do away with their entitled unionized employees who have worked there for a million years and know it's nearly impossible to be fired. My husband was scolded once for having two extra items in the express lane when there wasn't another customer in sight, in front or behind him. After I had a cashier RAISE HER VOICE at me for saying I hated this store (three aisles of customers and cashiers turned and watched the scuffle and the cashier proceeded to complain about me in front of me to her manager) I've decided I won't be back. EVER. I'll drive the extra distance to King Soopers where they always have a smile on their face and the prices are better.
