Very friendly, constantly filling your coffee cup, food was good. I was glad to see a senior menu and ordered the three pancakes one egg and two strips of bacon for under $5 and it was a perfect portion size for me. I did not visit the restrooms because of the other reviews saying it was dirty. The restaurant appeared clean. Overall my husband and I enjoyed our breakfast and the price was reasonable and the service is very good.

Great wait staff, friendly, funny and fast. I loved the decor and the biscuit was great; real "crumby!" said the guy at the next table, I agree! I took mine without gravy, just a little strawberry jam- excellent.

Dumpy little coffee shop in Parker. People are friendly and the food is average, but the place is a little too dirty and unkempt. A better bet is to go up the street another block to Crossroads Cafe.

OK, I've been here twice now, breakfast today. Friendly, but could be alot cleaner, especially in the men's restroom. Food is just OK.

3 stars for epic portions of breakfast (best pancakes ive had in a while, as flat as a white ladies crack cheeks but tasty). have a seat cuz get this... the entire time visiting parker, ive been discussed the unanimous trendy parker hairstyle for men "the river mullet". This place just 1 upped the buh-jesus out of mullets anywhere... female servers had river mullets. i have died and gone to hillbilly heaven. wowsers x2. 3 other customers also hair this remarkable hairstyle but a female mullet... that right thuuuurrr is just cream of the crop and dead sexy. made my week. she had burns also... yeeeeeeeeeeeessssss. f_ck yah.

I still like coming here when were at the River, the food is fresh, they pay attention to what you order they have some of the best biscuits and gravy along with good chicken fried steak. Most of the staff here have been here for years and they treat everyone like locals. There's plenty of seating and the counter is huge if they do get busy. I come here when I'm usually in a hurry to get out on the water. Many of the locals seem to eat here aswell.

Gave it a two stars since service was not good at all props to the cooks food was great but service needs work. I felt like I was ignored at no time after I received my did the waitress checked to see if everything was OK. My coffee cup was empty for over a half hour, even when the food was dropped off they didn't acknowledge me to see if I need anything. The only time I received good service is when a lady everybody refers to as miss Marilyn was there but very rarely see her anymore. I hope they correct this since they have great food and the cooks work hard to push out the quality but all that is for nothing if service don't improve.

On our way home from the river, we stopped to get breakfast at this little spot. It's no taj mahal and looks exactly as you'd expect a random coffee shop in the desert to look with exactly the kinds of local characters you'd expect here. Minus a crazy guy who sells squirrels in the desert. I was hoping to see one of those guys. But really it's tourists and local old people when you walk in with the raspy voiced spark plug waitresses you'd expect. It's as if they were lifted out of a cliche tv show. The food isn't fancy or spectacular but you'll be full until you get to your next stop. They don't do things like egg whites and health doesn't seem very high on the list but they've got decent spicy sausage and eggs. And they've got a bottle of tapatio on the table. Do not use the restrooms. I found them to be diiiiiiiiirrrrrttttyyyy and to seriously reek. In fact, I wanted to scrub a lot of this place down. But they didn't poison me.

You won't find an "Angry Doug" anywhere else on our planet. Maybe not a Ray's Ground Beef, Bob's Spicy Scramble, Cierra's Silver Dollar Pancakes, Tow Truck Mark's Country Mess, Deb's Garage Country Scramble, Pete's Bacon Bacon, Eics Rehab Omelet, or The Trough either. After typing them here I suspect most of these menu items are unique to the Early Bird. I like language. I think they're fun names. That alone makes it interesting to me. This is a hard working man's, woman's and retiree's restaurant. People work so hard getting the food ordered, served and cleaned up, other facility fine points are ignored. There are interesting collections of old pens, auto competition pics, roosters, Betty Boop, and others on the wall. Today was the first time I've eaten here. I've often started too early for the Early Bird so it's been closed. If the breakfast meeting's at the Early Bird, I'll be here. As a general note, the region seems to favor those James Dean/Bogart/Marilyn Monroe mashup pics/prints peppered with LED highlights. John Wayne with flashing red LED eyes is SCARY!
