First time visitor to the area. I came here directly from the Tucson airport and was not disappointed. The pulled pork was mind blowing. A second visit is clearly in order.
Food options are limited in this area, I'm down here every few weeks for work. Was excited when I saw the Yelp reviews but have been let down. I ordered the turkey blt, for $9 the price is steep for what it is. The turkey was bland and kind of dry. I gave then three stars for the lemon with water and that they serve locally roasted coffee.
Came here on my way to Tucson from Madera Canyon last week. Not too far out of the way, and totally worth the drive. I had the turkey avocado BLT, which was excellent. The staff was friendly and kind, and they have a beautiful patio that was very comfortable. Very relaxing, positive environment for a delicious lunch, I'm just sad I don't live in the area and won't be able to go back soon!

The food is great And the waitors are very friendly! I love their food. Very delicious! Especially the garlic bread.
Excellent. Wow, and this is in Green Valley. Food and service both excellent. I had the Ossobuco and my wife had lobster ravioli with shrimp. Served hot and prompt. Friends had mentioned this restaurant, but we never really got a-round-to-it until this past week. Not disappointed.
Atmosphere is awesome, the bottled water is a little over the top- but no complaints- service is always excellent. I've had the lump crab and the sea bass, loved both and the bread is sooooo good w oil and balsamic!! Little pricey at about $50 for lunch for 2, but for good food in Green Valley, it's worth it!!!

Drinks: 4.5 Food/Pastries: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cleanliness: 5 If I could give a bonus star for the all star service, live piano player in the mornings, the spacious atmosphere and cleanliness I would. This place is a pleasure to visit, especially first thing in the morning, because the staff is so chipper and sincerely care about your morning experience. For being at the epicenter of a huge retirement community, La Posada, they get a lot of customers and attention and appear to handle it well havering plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and even various rooms to kick back in, with tables chairs and even a couple cozy leather loungers. Now why the 0.5 star deduction? They have a little itty bitty trouble making cappuccinos, particularly with almond milk. As a former barista, I can tell you, it's not the almond milk. They are made a touch too hot and the barista needs a touch more practice, training or technique. The great thing is I don't mind lattes because that's what you get. At least the espresso was marvelous, smooth and bold which makes the rest easier to swallow... It's incredible what amazing service can do! It makes you want to be an amazing customer right back. I love this space! There is art hung throughout the cafe walls and even and art gallery connected off to the side right next to the pianist going to town on the keys with jazzy yet uplifting tunes. My guess is if you walk in grumpy to this place, there is no way you can justify leaving without a smile on your face. Would I return? Absolutely!
Great little hang-out. Good pasteries/cakes and wonderful staff and service. The morning glory cakes are really good and the iced tea is perfect with free refills. A nice place to sit and relax for a bit.
Love this place. Food and drinks are delicious and service is great! The root beer floats are so yummy. Scones, sticky buns as well as soups and sandwiches all made on site. Prices are excellent. A great place to sit and chat and enjoy good company

While spending time out in the far off lands of Green Valley (well, far off if you're from Tucson like me) it was nice to find a Subway for lunch for quick, simple and predictable food. Located inside a Wal-Mart, this Subway was handling the lunch crowd with swift ease and I was through it in no time. Very impressive. Good service. Efficient. If this visit was any indication, this Subway keeps 'em happy!
Sewer smell! I walked in today and it smelled like 10 skunks infused their biochemical warfare gas all around the place. The smell was most strong around the sewer drainage below the sofa fountains.
Had a great sandwich at Subway! I got in, served quickly. & the food was great! The one thing I found disturbing was that there was a sewer smell. Very unappetizing!!

Two Girls Pizzeria & Bistro

Reviews:
We recently tried Two Girl's Pizzeria (TGP) for a late lunch (3:00 pm) and while the food was OK, and the waitress friendly we believe the only reason it ranks so high on Yelp is due to the lack of quality restaurants in the Green Valley - Sahuarita area. Service: with only three of the fifteen-or-so tables occupied, service was prompt and our server was very personable. Atmosphere: While it's clean and well kept, there is not much atmosphere. Appetizer: House salad with Red Wine Vinaigrette dressing ($3.50) was good! Pizza: We ordered the extra-large 18" with Meatballs & Canadian Bacon. When it arrived, our server noticed it had been made with mushrooms instead of meatballs - and admitted the mistake was hers. She was very apologetic and offered to replace it. However, we were famished and did not want to wait another 15 minutes, so we dug in anyway (although mushrooms are not our favorite). They did make us a medium pizza with meatballs, and only charged us for the medium. The mushroom pizza was OK, but the pizza with the meatballs was better. However, both crusts were too "droopy" for our tastes, and needed more sauce. We also thought the pizzas were overpriced. Beverages: we had the house wine (Black Bear) Cabernet Sauvignon ($4.50), which was only fair. We recommend they expand the wine list, including carafes and half-carafes. Draft beer should also be available. Summary: We really wanted to like the TGP, and were not upset about the order snafu as it was handled very well! However, we were hoping for a restaurant what had more of an Italian restaurant vibe (dimmer lighting, Italian music, etc.). From now on, we'll stick with Papa Murphy's.
Best Italian in town. The homemade soups are to die for and the Stromboli's out of this world.
We often get take out here when visiting Green Valley because it's convenient to our relatives. But I find the pizza mediocre and overpriced---$55 tonight for three medium pizzas. Also when they're busy, it's very slow. I was told 30 to 35 minutes and arrived after 25 and the woman told me they would be out in a moment. Fifteen minutes later I was told the same thing. They were ready 50 minutes after I had ordered. When I said an accurate estimate would have been useful it was met with a stony silence. This wasn't the friendly experience others report.

Great food, good prices. Food is always good, there will be a wait during the winter season, as there are many snowbirds who frequent here. Try the cheese crisp it is yummy. Good chili relleno's and burritos, have not had anything I did not like. My husband loves the cheese enchiladas. This place gets 5 stars. You won't leave hungry....
The decor is good and so is the service. Nothing special about the food but for the area its in, this place is 'great'. It gets 4 stars because its all relative :-).
Wow, four stars? Everything about this screamed tourist to me, but the lot was so full I gave it a chance. The salsa was bland and blander. The chips were ok, mostly, but every once in a while a really stale chip would surface. I had the flat stack chicken enchiladas. These came Suisa style which was interesting but again lacked much flavor. My spouse had the Chimichanga which again was ok, but she had to pour on all the remaining "hot" sauce to give it much flavor. I admit we come from green chile country, but I can not believe the locals love their food this mild and flavorless. It is edible and there is a lot of food if you are hungry, but I would say look elsewhere.

Saigon Flavor

Our group of five dined at Saigon Flavors for dinner. The variety of menu items is overwhelming. In addition, the chef will also prepare items to order. The restaurant does not offer alcoholic beverages but you are welcome to bring your own. All of us found the entrees to be very good. The portions were unusually large leading two members of the group to take part of their entree home. The tom yum soup was very flavorful and loaded with a variety of seafood. Three members of our group have travelled extensively in southeast Asia and all agreed that the food was authentic and comparable to what we had in that area. We all agreed that we would look forward to a return visit to Saigon Flavors.
I can honestly say it is the best vietnamese food place I have eaten at in green valley, It is the only vietnamese place I have eaten at in green valley so I guess that is a pretty low bar. Look I love vietnamese and have driven several hundred miles to get vietnamese sausage stuffed fried quail. So Yeah I am going to be a bit harsh. Their soup was very shallot dominated in its flavor (this is coming from a guy who makes his own dried shallot powder for cooking at home) although I do give them a lot of credit for using real glass noodles. Unfortunately they have no clue how to cook tofu there. If you dont season it then fry it good (let it get a crust) dont under cook unseasoned tofu. And the tofu lemongrass vermicelli had under cooked tofu and a quite weak flavor profile (no heat no nothing) for a lemongrass stir fry. Also the noodles in my bun (I will call it by its real name) were either old and drying back out or simply not cooked long enough, so it was meah. (I have had worse) Special lady friend's dad ordered the special catfish dish, which the waitress had to go out front and look at the white board in the window as she didnt realize that they had such a special, then she had to go back out again to figure out what were talking about when we asked for their Japanese (nori) spring roll. The catfish dish was agreed upon to be very good, and being that the mekong river is full of them I would hope the vietnamese know how to cook them and I feel like it should be on more menus. (even though I hate cooked fish and avoid it like the pelage) The "japanese spring roll" was a spring roll with a sheet of soggy ass nori in it. interesting but unless you LOVE nori I would suggest passing on it. all in all very ok, not bad, not great: and too all that love this place try snow peas at 24th and craycoft when in tucson, or Com Tom in the lee lee shopping center (orange grove and la cholla). They are both at least one star better. Seriously where can I find a GOOD Bhan mi in southern AZ.
Ordered pork fried rice to go. Under $10, took about 10 minutes, tasted great, large portion, ate half for lunch, half for dinner.

I have lived in Green Valley for 1.5 years and I have been so bummed that the local Mexican food is "Minnesota Mexican" as one gal called it - very, very bland. The local Mex places serve tomato sauce with chips ...... serious, it is rare to find onions, cilantro and dare not have jalapenos ..... Bummer. Coyote Grill makes an excellent salsa and it has the right touch of heat. Add to that their fresh guac with heated chips - yummmm. I love their happy hour - half price. So a generous portion of food for half price! I love sitting on the deck and just soaking in the tremendous view. The Thai Sweet Pepper chicken wings are a great treat. The Onion Soup was among the best I have ever had - a wonderful swimming blend of onions bread and hearty broth covered in melted cheese. Yum yum and Yummy.

I have drove by this place a million times and I finally decided to stop in on Friday for a few cold ones. We went inside and could not find any seats in the bar area therfore we we not eligible for happy hour appetizers as told by our server. It would have been a nice gesture on management's part to honor those prices because it wasn't our fault no seats were available. We had prompt service for our drinks and specials were mentioned, fish and chips for $13 and all you can consume. ...I'll take it and so will my fishing partner. Haha The order consisted of two fillets of cod in a delicate beer batter and the fish was flakey and favorable, a order of crispy fries and coleslaw paird well. I ate a net full of cod fish and could have ate more because it was delicious. My dining partner could hardly finish her huge portion and she also enjoyed her meal. I plan on returning to this restaurant because my first visit impressed me and I know the rest of the menu choices will be equally good. The menu has a variety of mouth watering selections and I hope that they are just as good as the fish and chips. I will return soon because my first experience wowed me, and it takes a lot for me to get wowed Howing good food and atmosphere ...keep it up ! The drinks were perfect too....not water down like so many other places.

I love this place, though we only occasionally utilize the batting cages, I love their American style food. Their wings are HUGE, Very meaty, always cooked thoroughly, and moderately priced. Chicken tenders are big too, fries are classic cut, large and nice. Though there are places for wings close by, I will only buy my wings here, they even have eegees ice drinks in large size. All I can say is WINGS! Trust me they are great, only downfall is they only have two flavored of sauce, BBQ and Buffalo, both are good, would be cool to get a few options with wings so great.
Food, video games, tvs with games on, mini golf, batting cages and horse shoes. There's lots to do in the way of time killing at Triple Play. Sort of hidden back by the Titan Missile Museum, our kid's soccer team had their portrait day here. We weren't alone. Lots of teams had been scheduled to show-up for their pics and we parents made the most of it getting dinner from the brazier inside, watching the games and spending quarter after quarter on video games (mostly old school and pretty well worn, too). There is a large meeting room called the Wildcat room. That's where the portrait studio had been set-up. Tons of sports memorabilia lined the walls and ceiling. Our family had burgers and fries along with some onion rings and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. (Eegee's is served here, too but we didn't partake.) The burgers were decent- not dry, fresh toppings and the fries were my favorite. Ranch, ketchup & mustard served cold on the side. Overall, this is a sports bar. Even the mini golf appears to be more for the retired set as it is outfitted with spongy greens, astroturf, flags in all the holes plus a sandtrap. The batting cages were a huge hit with youngsters and it appears local teams meet here for practicing their swings. If you haven't been here, it's a good place to check out. Though I would say the target audience is males aged 9 years old and up. Beer drinkers will enjoy the selection of beer on tap which included Coors Light & Stella Artois plus some microbrewery selections.
The only thing worse than the food is the non-existent service. Batting cages look fun but the rest of the place needs a lot of help.
