Darn near the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. I had a fish taco which was better than anything I've had in Socal and a breakfast burrito (machaca, potato, egg and cheese - my usual custom breakfast burrito) which was spectacular. Was just passing through town and found this on Yelp! A must eat!

Dont let the exterior apearance fool you. The chicken enchiladas, rice and beans are better than my abuelitas. Everything is made fresh.

Los robertos now has a 2nd New location on the 60 near the 24 hour mcdonalds . Same great menu&still great prices! We love their " street Tacos". My favorite is asada or adovada.but they have many meat choices. Thier hard shell roast chicken taco is to die for . Also cheap classic " mexican breakfast till 11:00.Fat burritos , husband loves the one stuft with french fries (the arizona).Reminds me of Southern California style "mexican" different from all the other (BLAND) choices in town . This place is Different & Delicious!

We went to there new location (not on Yelp yet) food was good, prices affordable and the place was clean (new) ! On Yelp it says that it's the best Mexican restaurant, it's more like a Mexican fast food than a "restaurant"

Stopped by on our way out for fishing trip. Burrito was really good. Tortilla was excellent! Had also on the way back. Green burro is perfect.

Damn good Mexican food. I had the chorizo plate and it was tasty!

To be honest, the outside was a little scary. We needed a place to eat with a patio because of our dog. After giving in, we decided to try it. The front counter was very courteous and polite. Lunch was great in comparison to the price. I ordered the 5 rolled tacos and cheese quesadilla for under 10 bucks. A group of seven, and everyone was happy with their lunch

For great tacos/ burritos in Miami Globe this is a great choice nice and authentic fast stop. Nothing gourmet about it. Much cleaner inside than it appears. The salsa and chip were just OK. The red salsa was a bit watery and I was unsure if it was pepper based or tomato based. The green was also a bit watery for my likes, but was better than the red. Some Pickled carrots were provided, but lacked the typically accompaning jalepenos, onions, cauliflower, garlic etc. The burrrito was very good. Not too large, almost smallish. But the taste / contents were just fine. A really nice surprise. No rice or bean filling. It comes with the meat, guacamole, cabbage etc.

The food and service was fine but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. It was tasty and the interior is clean. The bathrooms are very scary so it's not optimal for a rest stop!

This small restaurant in the Town of Globe is definitely worth trying out. The food is very fresh, served warm, and exceptionally delicious. Some of the establishments nearby have housekeeping issues; Roberto's is not one of them. The dining area is very clean and views through the serving window into the kitchen show a very neat working area. I've had a couple of burros at this place, both have tasted great. The breakfast plates look very tempting so maybe next time I'll give them a try. They have a self serving hot sauce bar that includes a green (mild/sweet) and red (hotter, not hot). Next time you're in Globe, give this place a try or at least grab some food to snack on later.

    1) Horchata! Yum :) 2) Veggie Burrito. Beans, rice, guacamole, lettuce, and a super tasty pico de gallo. Totally hit the spot! su.pr/AHBVoM 3) Friendly and helpful staff :) 4) They have a drive-thru! ...in case you don't feel like dining in. 5) Advantages of dining in include stocking up on fake mustaches and spy equipment for your secret agent needs: su.pr/1NAeRH I spent less than $5 on dinner. Yay! I'm a fan :)

This is Mexican food as good as it gets. We have been to their old facility and were wondering if the new place would be as good. This is a great location right next to McDonalds on the main road through Globe. We were not disappointed. We have tried pretty much every Mexican restaurant in town and this is by far the best. The place is very clean, the food tastes very fresh and the prices are very good. The salsa is not the chunky type that we are most accustomed to but it is good.

Love carne Asada burritos here. My wife enjoyed her Huevos Rancheros. Very friendly crew. They have 1/2 liter Mexican cokes

Most "healthy" Mexican food in town -- and we've got 6-8 good Mexican food places. Not loaded w cheese and they don't cook everything in oil. At lunch you'll see all the locals in having burritos. My favs are carne asada and adovada. Arizona burrito has fries in it-- but will surprise u how good it is. It's your definition of a little hole in the wall local dive. Very little seating. Many do take out. But if I want a quick, healthy burrito for lunch, this is where I go.

Was craving Mexican food.... But I would have been better off at Taco Bell!! Salsa is runny! Ordered a torta and the bread was a thin French roll that fall apart upon attempting to pick up! Reconsider before coming here.... Not authentic Mexican food at all!!!!

I checked yelp ffrom my Smartphone and took Evan's advice and got the Arizona Burrito. Great choice, adequate size and very tasty. I like the way they ensure the potatos are crispy so that every bite has a crunch. The meat was very flavorful as it really adds a nice touch. The buuilding is a bit of a dive and has a dirt parking lot, but that is the way it is represented so no foul. Prices are very reasonable.

Not a huge facility, but man oh man are their burritos good. I stop by every time I go through Globe. Definitely worth a look!

I went in earlier this week and this is first time I have been 'inside' Los Robertos- I usually use the drive through. I am always skeptical of 'hole in the walls' because they have a tendency to be dirty- and I don't mean trash-littering-the-floor dirty, but rather grease-dripping-off-the-walls-for-years dirty. This place was very clean, the floors, the walls, the tablecloths. I was very impressed. I didn't know what I wanted and the lady helping me was very kind and patient, answering my many questions, like "What is the difference between Adovada and Carnitas?" I went with Adovada, something I had never had before and I was very pleased and impressed with it. She genuinely seemed excited I was trying something new, and hoped I liked it, she takes pride in her restaurant! The service was fast, and perfect. This is THE place for burritos that are NOT Americanized! YUM!

Place is a dump. Good for drive through, avoid for eat in. Mexican fast food, plastic utensils, paper plates, smallish portions, order at the counter no waitstaff. Charge for drink refills. Only 6 or 7 tables. Lots of flies. No free chips and salsa. Food is OK, but for the same price you will be far more comfortable in one of the many really good restaurants yelp lists in Globe.

If you're in the area, you MUST go to Los Robertos!! This place is the definition of hole-in-the-wall awesomeness. We ordered the Arizona burrito (their special menu item, a burrito with french fries--sounds odd, but tasted good) and the Adovado Burrito (kind of a spiced pork. We also got chili rellanos that was probably the best one I had ever eaten. All in all, we left with our bellies full and happy.

My wife and I read all the reviews and decided to try it for ourselves. We were not impressed. Taco meat was dry shell hard. Retried beans were good. Rice fair at best. My wife had a mixed pork dish. It was flavorful. Overall it tasted like it looked. Nothing to write home about.

We were driving from Phoenix, on our way to Texas, and needed a place to have a quick bite to eat before heading back out on the road. Based upon the favorable reviews, we decided to stop at Los Robertos. Don't expect anything fancy, but do count on getting a delicious burrito at a great price. My wife and I had the Pickle Barrel, which was a vegetarian burrito filled with rice, beans, lettuce, and tomato that was all wrapped within a homemade flour tortilla. Los Robertos also offers two fresh salsas for accessorizing your burrito. Diners have a choice of a spicy red salsa or a creamy avocado sauce that was mild in spice. All of this satisfaction came at a price of $8.53 for two people. Wow, I must be really bored to have written a review this long for a little roadside burrito place. What else are you going to do with 6 hours in the backseat of a car?

Arizona Burrito is probably the best burrito I have ever eaten.

This place has locked down the burrito business of Globe. My mouth starts salivating when we hit Miami for the roasted chicken burro. If you ask nicely they wrap your extra burrito in foil which heat up nicely in the camp fire for dinner, if that's your thing...

Great little joint. I too, tried the Arizona burrito and was pleasantly surprised. While I was there three other guys came in and ordered the same thing so they must be doing it right.

Hands down our family's favorite Arizona-Mexican place. It's a small dive with amazing food. Everyday it's filled with locals: high school students, cops, construction folks, and everyone else. What it lacks in seating and atmosphere, it more than makes up for in food quality. The carne asada is great. The roasted chicken burros are also unique and flavorful. The Arizona burros are tasty for those who want more of an all-american flavor of meat, cheese and fries. But what we like most are the breakfast burros. Bacon, ham, sausage or chorizo mixed with cheese, potatoes and eggs. It's fairly filling and well-priced as well. We like to take them to go when we go on hikes on the Pinals. Give it a try, and you'll find out about this hidden gem like many in Globe already have.

Great tortillas. We both enjoyed our dishes (burrito and chile rellenos). Salsa was a little weak, but not bad by any means. Very friendly.

Best tacos in Globe, not Arizona tacos or New Mexico tacos, real Mexican tacos like the kind I grew up with in So. Cal! The chili rellano burro was a first for me and is fantastic. Actually, everything my husband and I have tried is wonderful. I've lived in the west and southwest all my life, most recently New Mexico, and never had Horchata & Jamaica Mexican drinks before, they are super at Los Robertos. The complimentary Mexican hot carrots are an added treat. I highly recommend this small, unassuming gem on the edge of downtown Globe.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
